Speaker 1 (00:00):
Live on ninety three three fl Z It's the Joe Show.
I have been purposely rage baiting myself. I am completely
completely aware that this thing is going to drive me insane,
and it does every single time, but I subject myself
to it in the hopes that one day it will

(00:21):
be different. In eight hundred four O nine ninety three
ninety three, if there is something that does bother you,
but you still go through with it in the hopes
of one day at changing, I want to know what
that is. And maybe it gets deep. Maybe you say
your ex but it might be like me where this
is just a very simple ad. Anyone in here get

(00:42):
the ads for like the the the King Drowning where
it's like you got to match up the box. It's
almost like candy crush, but then you get the water
out to avoid the king from.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Dying called Royal Match. I have the game or do you.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
See the ad where there's like someone marching with a
gun and there's like a times two or a minus
one and they walk through the times two and they
double and then they maybe the next one. It's like
you have a choice two decisions. One of them is
gonna help you in the game. The other one's not.
What happens is is they start dominating in the ad

(01:20):
and then once they're about to win, they lose. They'll
go through them because they go through like a they've
got ten people they're about to kill, like the big Ogre,
and then they go through the one that's minus eight,
and then the two people that are left die, but
they could have just gone through the Bazuka mirror thing

(01:42):
and then they get a bazook and they killed. They
never get the Bazuka never, They never.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Get the Times one hundred jet.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
They never stay and just in the line of fire
to defeat the Ogre and make it to the next
level jet and then they.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Ended up getting demolished by the Ogre. Jell.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
It is so unbelievably frustrating for it every time. I
watch it every time because one day they're gonna beat them,
and I won't download the app because sometimes you download
these apps, it's not even the game that you downloaded, So.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
What are you downloading.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
You're downloading like it's like a different game.

Speaker 4 (02:15):
It's like a role playing game, like instead of like
these are games where you're just supposed to go back
and forth in like through these gates. Meanwhile, you actually,
actually you don't understand how frustrating it is because like
the multiplying two guys, it's like you have to play
like this chess game where you're going and making markers
across the board and you don't get to do the
like the left right thing until like.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Halfway through the game. Advertising I've ever.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
I mean, I think they're doing a great job, because
have you guys downloaded at least once?

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Yes? I did once, yes, and it wasn't the game. Okay,
well then that's weird.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
I'm scrolling through my ads right now. Of course, now
that I'm looking for it, I'm not gonna find it.
But it happens often.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
What a or does it? Does it matter which app
you're on? It's just gonna What do you mean? Is
it on like Instagram?

Speaker 1 (03:02):
Is that every every app that I have?

Speaker 3 (03:06):
My one was it was the ad for it was
on Twitter? It was for like gummies, So what was
his name? Oh my goodness? It was like they were selling.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Edlen Yes, I'm serious.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
You know what I'm talking about, right, I was so
annoyed with those I don't I don't care.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
I don't want those edibles. You don't like cheachen chunk.
I didn't even know it was real. That was a movie.
It is a movie.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
Yeah, I did not know, but yeah, I think I
got rage made to get a monopoly go.

Speaker 5 (03:37):
That was.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
That was the time I had to let that go.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
You were addicted, I was, I was.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
I feel like and Jed, I feel like you a
candy crush.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
I think games period are some things that rage bade us.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Yeah, well no, listen, this is it's it's jewels.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
You have seen these ads, right.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
Listen.

Speaker 5 (03:57):
I'm not gonna lie. I've been a victim of these ads.
I've been a victim. I would because I'm gonna tell
you what happens is I will see them and they
look interesting, so I will download them. And it's not
even the game. You have to like, like Jeed said,
it's an RPG, and you will have to like make
your village left up, and it never takes it to

(04:21):
the game, and you keep like playing because they are
addicted in the beginning.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
And all you want to do is save the king
from drowning. Because it's as simple they usually get. They
never connect the last red block with the red block.
They go yellow and people green and yellow and green
and yellow and green, and then the King dies.

Speaker 4 (04:38):
You got to say the King, okay, so.

Speaker 5 (04:39):
I could tell you. So the thing is, I could
tell Joe's never downloaded the game because it never takes
you to that game.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
That the King, Well, yeah that's what I did.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
Download it once and then the moment the game started,
I saw it wasn't that and it's just but it's
like a matching game.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
You're the greatest.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Yeah, it really is. It really is fall for click
bait every single time. It's actually, believe it or not.
The King is on with us. Now who says that
they they did drown Is this the King? See what
I said, they drowned? Yep, that's it, poor guy. We're
not getting them. We'll move to Lauren.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
Hey, Lauren, Hey, good morning, good morning.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
And also that was not a that was a I
did pick up someone. I didn't answer, just in case
someone thought that was a dumb joke.

Speaker 6 (05:29):
Lauren, go ahead, you guys may not even know what
I'm talking about. But those stupid like low income, uh
little movies that they make that they show like the
little clips Flour on Facebook, and then you have to
go and download that stupid app that doesn't even work,
and you gotta pay money for it. But I always
sit there and watch like the fifteen minute long, like

(05:52):
sneak peek of it, and then it doesn't show you
the ending, and it pisses me off every single time.
But I can't help but watch the fifteen minutes of it,
and then I have to like google it. I'm like,
what's the ending for this little and oh my god.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
I gotta get the ending. It may somebody needs people
to come up with dads for us.

Speaker 6 (06:12):
It might finally get somebody out there will understand.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
Yes, Lauren, thank you so much for calling in

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
