Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is Iheartradios WSLZ jo Obey The Joe Show has
all the news and info you need. Top stories at
the top of the hour with Nashley Nixt.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
President Donald Trump has signed into law a bipartisan bill
that forces the Jeffrey Epstein investigation of files to be
released by the US Department of Justice within thirty days.
So under this new law, the DOJ it must reveal
unclassified records, communications, and investigation materials tied to Jeffrey Epstein,

(00:30):
including files related to his death and federal custodies, but
may still redeubt for victim protection or ongoing probes. The
law especially bans withholding information from embarrassment for reputation harm
and political sensitivity.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
And I think that's what Jet is concerned about.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
But here is what Attorney at General Pam Bondi said
in a press conference yesterday about following the law.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
We will continue to follow the law with maximum transparent
see while protecting victims.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
All right, So.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
You know my opinion, buddy on all of this.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
What let me play that one more time.

Speaker 5 (01:15):
Yep.

Speaker 4 (01:16):
We will continue to follow the law with maximum transparency
while protecting victims.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
Match them transparency, so to me.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
That sounds like they're gonna take the people's names out
who are victims, correct, and then everything else we're gonna see.
So why are you mad?

Speaker 5 (01:33):
So the reason why I'm upset about it, and Ashley
just said it in a report, if there's classified information
that is in there, we're not going to see it.
So my thing is, if you're gonna declassify these documents,
even the classified stuff that is in there should be
classified if it's against somebody.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
And who said it should be class huh you said
it should be.

Speaker 5 (01:52):
It should I'm sorry, it should not be classified. Everything
if it's it's legit, everything should be should be out there.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
Except forect We should protect the victims.

Speaker 5 (02:00):
Oh yeah, the victim one hundred percent. But look, if
there are politicians who are involved in this, if they're celebrities,
I don't care who's involved, on the flight logs or whatever.
I think we all shouldn't need to be able to
know about it. And if it's a threat to national security,
well then I think the people should know that it's
a threat.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Yeah, because why were we be a threat to national security?
That's what I'm concerned about.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Well, probably because.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
Yeah, presidents both Democrat and Republican are probably on it,
and that would look really really bad for a country.

Speaker 5 (02:28):
Also, it was really sketchy how they just approved it
almost unanimously. It was like four hundred and twenty to
one approved that.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
There was twenty seventy one.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Yeah, if it wasn't that. A part of Trump also
getting voted in was the fact that he did say
he was going to release the files, amongst other things.

Speaker 5 (02:43):
I mean, yes, that's true, but who's they. I mean,
it's it's a convoluted thing. It's really convoluted. That's all
I'm going to say.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Well, according to a new report in Tampa Bay, when
it comes to the roads, we're among the top five
places with the worst roads in the United States, and
I have to agree. Autoo Service and Tires Company pet
Boys they analyze data from one thousands of centers across
the country to see where drivers experience higher than average
repair activity. Tampa, Saint Pete, Sarasota rank number five out

(03:15):
of thirty places. Florida also leads the list with seven
repair heavy markets. Y'all, I mean, driving down Manhattan, I'm.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
Always going to hit a potho.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Alright, No about that, kid, All Shoe Show news and
content on on.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
Free I Heart Radio app. YouTube just starts to Joe Show.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Make sure to like, subscribe, share all right, beautiful stuff,
Thank you, Ashley. We are officially an hour and a
half commercial free. Now we are going to do I'm
just gonna be completely honest with you guys. We're doing
something a little bit different. As the background workings of
the show could change. There's a potential that at this

(03:52):
time you're not gonna hear War of the Roses moving forward.
I know, now, what does that mean? Are we killing
off War the Absolutely not. It's the most stream thing
that happens on the show. It is one of my
personal favorite things to do on the show. There is

(04:14):
no doubt that the value of War of the Roses
is so high that even if we didn't like it,
we'd still be doing it. But schedule changes. It kind
of happens close to the holidays. Is we recap the
year and we look at everything and we go, okay,
well maybe we change some things up. Today is a

(04:37):
test day. Today, War the Roses is going to take
a slight pause because of that. I am promising you
one of the most jaw dropping War the Roses next Tuesday.
But today is a test if you do not like

(04:58):
this now, okay, but potentially what people are looking at
doing is and I'm not saying it's bad or good
because truthfully, I just talk. I don't know anything else.
But you might see in the coming weeks on Thursdays

(05:20):
War of the Roses happening at eight ten rather than
seven ten. Now, if that change were to happen, everyone
listening right now who don't listen. Later in the show,
you're going to be introduced to a segment called Judge Joe's.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
Show, which.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
Just as many numbers as wore the Roses, in my opinion,
just as entertaining. But I know you're probably in the
car only for like twenty thirty minutes every morning. This
is when you're in the car. Maybe that would really
screw up your mornings. Like I said, this is a
test today nine seven seven two zero. I want to

(06:03):
hear from you specifically what your thoughts are on then
