and appills. Court in the Dominican Republic on Tuesday ordered
a new trial for Tampa Bay Ray's shortstop Wander Franco,
who was convicted earlier this year of sexually abusing a
minor and have received a two year suspended sentence. So
the ruling comes after Franco's attorney pushed to have his
conviction suspended and sentencing overturned, while prosecutors had been seeking

a five year sentence, so his attorney Wander Franco's attorney, So.

The court understood that there were many.
Speaker 1 (00:29):
Flaws, many emissions, many issues, and decided to send the
case to a new trial. If you did not know,
Wander Franco was arrested last year after being accused of
having a four month relationship with a fourteen year old
girl at the time. That's why I'm just like, what
do you mean there was issues? What do you mean
there was a missions? And you know, what's the confusion?
You can't do that what they want to. Yeah, So

and like I'll give you an update on that new trial.
But that's just where they're at right now. They're just
trying to get them off bad Man. Bindy. Taylor Swift
was on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert late last night,
talking about everything from her engagement to her top five
songs from her own catalog.
