I love this. So the state representative Susan Valdez.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
She recently introduced a bill aim to enhance safety measures
for people who write e bikes, the young writers. It
was a bill that was her pose. It originated from
some teens. So the initiative sparked by a tragic loss
of a schoolmate on an e bike accident, a reminder
that they're very dangerous. So the students, Zoe, Maggie, Abigail

(00:38):
and Philip. They're advocating for a change in state law
that will require all writers under the age of eighteen
to our helmets. Currently, the law only mandates helmets for
writers under the age of sixteen. And data shows a
fifty percent increase in emergency room visits for head trauma
that is related to e bike in e scooter accidents
from twenty seventeen until twenty twenty two. John Hopskins research

(01:02):
indicates that while head injuries are most severe. We're in
a helmet can reduce that by sixty percent. So we
got to get these teens. We're in helmets, and despite
the challenge of doing this, they're like, listen, we're committed
to making this a safety thing over style.

Speaker 4 (01:15):
So we're a helmet. It's pretty cool. I'm one of these.

Speaker 3 (01:23):

Speaker 4 (01:30):
Of Christmas music.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
And you want to know why some people dislike Christmas music.
People dislike Christmas music due to overexposure. It's association with stress,
consumerism and its repetitive nature, and simple melodies which trigger
feelings of pressure and the dread instead of joy, especially
for retail workers. I worked at pay list during the

(01:52):
holiday season, and when I tell you, that was the
most stressful time. As soon as you heard what time,
You're like, oh my goodness.

Speaker 4 (01:59):

Yeah, I just can't again, Elon Musk, He spoke on
a podcast as to why he can't go to like,
you know, public places like Target or CBS, and it's
all due to Charlie Kirk's murder that raised the stakes.

Here take a listen.
