the Penilla's County Sheriff's office warning the public about a
scheme focused on parking meters and mobile parking areas.

Because people are stealing your identity. So criminals across.

The county are they scanning the QR code.

So criminals across the county, they've been placing fraudulent QR
stickers code stickers over existing ones obviously, so they can
attract your bank information in seconds. Deputy Jeffrey Moore, with
a Panilaus County Shriff's office, said, listen, they're going to
steal your bank account info. So if you're using your
debit cards, they're going to get those numbers. Deputies inside

the department's Financial Crimes Division, It's said that when using
QR codes to park along beaches or streets, inspect the
sign and meter prior to scanning, so you know if
the sticker is legit or not. An easy way to
determine that. All you gotta do is look see if
there is actually sealed. If the code doesn't look like
it's perfectly straight, it is not legit. So if you

believe you have already fallen victim to this, just contact
your local law enforcements non emergency line.

Holiday season is approaching, of I mean, it's practically here.
People are gonna do what they can to, you know,
scam people out of money, so you'll wanna look out
for that. Salvador Palencia, the doctor who supplied ketamine to
Matthew Perry in the weeks before his death in twenty
twenty three, was sentenced yesterday to a thirty months in
a federal prison at Salvador apologized to Matthew Perry's family

right before a sentencing, saying, listen, I failed mister Perry.
I failed his family. I should have protected him. I
have accepted my responsibility. He is the first to be
sentenced among the five that people connected in connection to his.
