(00:00):
I'm a cheetah. I clock inat like seventeen and a half. That's
not possible when I'm wearing my tracksuit. Although although NFL players they can track
that stuff now with their technology,I'm not detectable. When they try.
It always comes in at like oneor two. But I know it's like
eighteen nineteen. Like, I'm like, that's not right. I think it's
just because I'm too fast. Yeah. I think the fastest guy ran like

(00:23):
twenty two miles an hour in theNFL this year, twenty two. Yeah,
I could do that. I don'tthink so. All right, So
it's great out. It's great outside, though I am. I'm sitting here
and I'm looking on the TV.Matt, can you tell the people what
we're seeing? Well, it's onone side, you got three guys.

(00:46):
I don't want those guys. Oh, the other guys or the other thing.
Oh, it's a whole bunch ofpeople gathered together. Yeah yeah,
yeah, And then it looks likeit's from the University of Texas at Austin.
There you go, yeah, soit must be arch Manning. Must
be having a speech. Yeah, maybe they announced him as the QB one

(01:08):
down there. No, they didn'tcome on, Quinn, yours is back.
They're not. Arch ain't playing.Quinn's gonna have to get hurt.
Has arch gotten a McDonald's sponsorship yethe's got to play first, right,
I mean who cares? Yeah,he's a manning big whoop. Anyway,
this is still happening, and it'sit's happening, and oh oh now,

(01:32):
no, there's people that are backingup. Is there somebody in the middle
here that's trying to like, uh, like, why are they all filming?
They're all taking their phones out andthey're all filming, giving you play
by play here if something happening atthe University of Texas in Austin. Apparently
it is a growing group of peoplewho are getting angsty and protesting. Oh

(01:57):
it looks like there are security orpolice in the middle and they're trying to
disperse the crowd or take certain peopleinto custody. I can't believe this.
This is still happening. Ninety peopleshowed up to Brown University's main lawn and
uh, they got ready to puttheir tents down because that's what we're doing

(02:21):
now, is we're camping. Iwant to go camping me too. When's
the last time you went camping, boy, hottie, it's been a while.
I love camping. I'm gonna gocamping at some point here in the
spring. I just love it.It's a great way to unwind, get
away from everything, be in thequiet, being the nature, spend some

(02:42):
quality time. I like to sketch. I'm a terrible artist, but it's
like relieving to like sketch something thatyou're looking at. Good bird watching.
When you're out there, where's yourideal tent and camping spot? What do
you mean, like, do youlike to be close to the water,
Do you want to be deep inthe woods? Do you like to be
closer to other pe That's a goodquestion. I guess they don't have much
of a preference. It's nice whenyou're closer to the lake, I think

(03:05):
because of the scenery. But atthe same time, usually there's some birds
that are like in bullfrogs and stuffthat you know, can get a little
loud at nighttime. Usually, youknow, when you're away from the water,
you know, I gotta worry aboutlike raccoons and stuff. And they
don't make a lot of noise exceptwhen they're ransacking your campground. Yeah,
they see you go to bed andthey're like, all right, now it's

(03:27):
the time. Ready break? Anyway, Yeah, no, they they went
out and they tried to they triedto set up their camp site stuff.
They have their tents and Brown University. This was at eight am Eastern time
today and Brown University said, no, you don't. And you know why.

(03:50):
It has nothing to do with necessarilywhat they're protesting. It has everything
to do with there's a rule fromOctober of twenty eleven they put on the
books at Brown that nobody can sleepor in camp on the lawns of Brown
University. So they were an immediateviolation and told them to told them to
scram kind of thing. Now,that's one way to handle. I don't

(04:11):
know what the protocols are. Anda lot of these other schools USC Southern
California, we're seeing their campus now. There's a pro Palestinian rally there.
Laurence Jones on Fox and Friends thismorning showed up and he's in Milwaukee today
and he ran around and he wascarrying a microphone, right, because that's
what you do when you're talking topeople, is you have to have the

(04:32):
microphone. And he's carrying around amicrophone, talking to people like in cafes,
asking them like what they think aboutit, and almost universally all the
people he kind of talked to werelike, this is really dumb. I
can't believe that this is happening.I don't know, like these people have
no understanding of what the real worldis like. They have no idea that
the United States rules themselves are whatallows them to protest like this, and

(04:59):
if they're saying like death to Americaand all that stuff, it's like you're
basically just throwing away the ability tohave that first a member right to protest,
which is correct. Well, theother side of it is he showed
up and he took the you know, the mic flag. It's usually got
like the logo of the place thatyou work for on it, right,
it said Fox News on it whenhe was like doing that stuff in the

(05:19):
cafe. But then he takes theflag off and goes to the protest or
the they're calling it a fair inMilwaukee. Oh, the University of Wisconsin
Milwaukee pro Palestinian fair. Are games? I didn't see any. Is there
grilled meat? I didn't see any. I think this is more like a
Renaissance fair. Ah, the gamesin grilled meat. No turkey legs.

(05:41):
So you're telling me, I godown there up there? Excuse me,
I go up there. I'm gonnaget a turkey leg I don't think so.
And I would say over there becauseit's more east than it is north.
But that's Minnesota. No Milwaukee,Oh, Milwaukee. Yeah, it's
over there. It's not up there. I mean it's up there, but
it's not like up there. It'sover there. Okay, all right,
Well, South Dakota's up there.Yeah you could talk me into Minnesota being

(06:04):
up there, but yeah, butbut Milwaukee's over there. It's over there.
But we go guys say over there, like like Chicago, the guys
you'd say over there, but it'sjust slightly north of there, so it's
over there. Yeah, okay,so you go over there, all right?
And I don't I wouldn't expect toget fed by these people. I
mean, I don't know, Idon't know what these kind of people eat.
So I'm not gonna be able toslay the dragon. That's something you

(06:26):
can do at a Renaissance fair. They're not real dragons, No, I
would they want to slay things.I just don't think it's dragons, and
I think these people are probably thesame people that are mostly vegan and uh
really like the idea of being uppity. So you're gonna show up and you
better be wearing the right garb becausethey're gonna make you They're gonna make you

(06:48):
feel shame. Well, I'll tellyou what Lawrence Jones said or asked them
and what they said in response.Because he without the Fox and Fox News
flag, they didn't identify him assomebody who would be like trying to get
there, like kind of dig infrom the opposition, and they had to
try to answer his questions. I'llgive you a synopsis of what that sounded

(07:11):
like next. Emerty Sarngar with youon news radio eleven ten KFAB and Marie's
songer on news radio eleven ten kfab. What is being called a pro Palestinian
campus fair and talking to these protesters, and he took off his Fox News
mic flag, which would have beena dead red signal to these people that
oh he's gonna ask his hard questionsor this is an enemy, don't don't

(07:35):
talk to him. So this iswhat he said, all right, and
he asked them, what are youup to? And one of the activists,
which they did not name. Wedon't have names. We just all
we can do is see them, and she basically, you know, stumbled
through the If this was good audio, i'd play the whole thing. But

(07:57):
there's a bunch of like ums andahs and likes. So I'm just gonna
I'm just gonna read it to you. But here's here's the first uh,
here's the first bit. We're hereto really advocate the Palestinians for guys that
we were advocating, honestly, forjust humanity. There's a lot more casualties

(08:18):
on the Palestinian side than there ison the Israeli side. And I'm not
trying to like compare the sides, but a lot of people are like,
oh my god, October seventh,October seventh, but like, no,
this is since nineteen forty eight.Does that sound like a good college aged
woman activist. I think so.It could have used a few more like

(08:43):
gen Z lingo terms. I wasjust that's our word for word. Okay,
that was I read the quote wordfor word. Well then then they
dropped the ball. Then they're notgen Z enough for you. Yeah,
come on, all right, Well, Lawrence Laurence Stones re reiterated right after
that, well people are saying, well, what about the Jewish community that's
under attack as well, the womenthat were raped, the kids that were

(09:05):
put into ovens. And then theylooked at each other because there are two
of them there, two of theactivists, and basically said, I'm pretty
sure that those were debunked. Theydebunked that information. And then Lawrence said,
but the United Nations came out witha report, and then they responded
like, well, well, Idon't know the resource, but like I

(09:28):
said, we're not here to condone. We're not here for violence at all.
Lawrence had to kind of come backand be like, okay, well,
if you're not here for violence atall, then why are you wearing?
I wish he would just have said, so, why the Palestinian flag?
Then? Why why the why thewhy the garb? Why the Arab
garb? Because some of these peoplewere in the Arab garb and the headdresses

(09:48):
and stuff. I mean, it'slike, you're not Arab. Well it's
a fair they're LARPing. Oh okay, yeah, we'll have to we'll break
that down in the after all, right know. Anyway, back, so
Lawrence is like, do you feellike you could separate the two and say,
hey, let's just talk about thehumanitarian aspect of it without talking about

(10:09):
the larger conversation of AMAS using thepeople that you care about I care about
as human shields, like does thatconcern you? And of course he's you
know, alluding to the fact thatthey are hiding in like hospitals and places
that civilians are just trying to liveand they are being targeted and they know

(10:30):
that if they get bombed or whatever, all they all can just run over
to people and say, hey, look, war crimes, Israel's killing all
these civilians, even though that's what'sgoing on. And then back to our
activist friends, they said, itdoes concern me. It does. It's
actually really unfortunate. We don't lookhighly at that at all, because you've

(10:52):
got to understand, you're all talkingabout Hamas this, Hamas this, we're
talking about the civilian. So thereyou go, what say you about this?
What do you what do you? What do you think? Do they
know what they're talking about or arethey just doing this because they have nothing
else better to do, or they'retrying to they're trying to be trying to

(11:16):
be the cool kids on campus.Well, I do feel like I missed
my mark there when you started thatquote. I should have had the background
music playing. That definitely was playingin the background of this clip, which
sounds like this because they're at theRenaissance fair. That's not what this is.
You said it was a fair.It is a fair. That's what
they're calling it. It's a fairand it is of Renaissance. It sounds

(11:41):
like a Renaissance fair to me.Are they really a Renaissance? Are they
renaissancing? Or are they like? What's the backwards? What's the opposite of
renaissance? A Renaissance is just achange in thought, you know, in
perspective, right, Like I don'teven know. I have to I'd have
to google it being it maybe askyou, No, don't, don't ask

(12:03):
Jeeves. Jeeves doesn't exist anymore. All right, Here we go, Here
we go, Here we go.I got the I got the terminology.
Are you ready? Yeah? TheRenaissance is a period in history and a
cultural movement marking the transition from theMiddle Ages to modernity. Modernity is how
you say that modernity and it liketalks about art and culture and whatnot.

(12:24):
But it was a time of newideas. They also say renaissance can also
if you go to Merriam Webster, renaissance is a period or movement of vigorous
artistic and intellectual activity ivy League campus. They also say rebirth or revival.
I feel like, what's the oppositeof this, because that's I think is

(12:46):
more closely resembling what's going on antonymfor renaissance. Here we go, all
right, this is what a placecalled word hippo, word hippo, credible,
uh, disappearance, failure, degenerationlike degeneration X from WWF D generation

(13:16):
X dunt dy. So he wasnot much of a renaissance, man,
I take it. Neither of thoseguys were, Yeah, Shawn Michaels and
Triple H Hunter Hurst Helmsley. Butthat's the funny thing is Hunter Hurst Helmsley.
When he came to the World WrestlingFederation, he was like the elite
guy with an English accent that wasterrible. But when he lost the accent,

(13:39):
he became a really bad influence andhe and Shawn Michaels became degeneration X.
He lost his accent. Yeah,he was faking it. The whole
time. I know it's disappointing.Oblivion, decline, abasement, abasement,
DeKay, degradation, stagnation, that'swhat's going on here. Stagflation. Oh,

(14:05):
don't give don't give old Biden boyany ideas about what to what to
play off the word inflation please? All right, Well there you go.
Four oh two, five, five, eight, eleven ten. You want
to talk about this. I haveto try to continue to tell Matt,
this is not a renaissance fair thatthese people are having in Milwaukee. Mm
hmm. And if it is,we might just send you over there to

(14:28):
be a live correspondent. We'll seehow that goes for you. Chain Mail,
jorts, chainmail and jorts, Yeah, jorts are a renaissance thing.
Maybe one of those duct tape tubeswords. You know, you think that
they would be interested in having you. Maybe I'll just go over there with
the flu you know. No,I don't peaceful tunes on my flute.

(14:52):
Yeah, we need to we needto go to a break before if I
get too many pictures of my brainabout what they might do to you.
Two twenty seven News Ready eleven tenkfab Emrie SONGA will be back right after
he finishes his tea and scrumpets AllNews Radio eleven ten kfab, I know

(15:16):
we have to start over, right, We got to start all over.
It was a lot easier when youalready had two in the can, you
know what I mean? Not twoout of three ain't bad. He sings
that meat loaf nice, delicious anda great singer too, that the food
is delicious. He's a great singertoo. I'm glad that you clarified.
Yeah, I I that was whatI meant. We were talking about these
protests that are popping up all overthe place, and James wanted to just

(15:41):
throw out there that the Nebraska StateRenaissance Fair or Festival Bellevue Berry Patch first
three weekends of May. Mm hmmooh that's coming up, says I look
forward to the pictures of Matt andchainmail and georts. If anyone now,
I don't know how to make chainmail. I had a guy in high

(16:02):
school that made chain mail in hisfree time. Don't know what he did
with it. That's the better questionhere. But if anybody wants to make
me a pair of chain mail jorts, oh no, I will wear them
to the Renaissance Fair, and Iwill be in character the whole time.
What's the character? I don't know. I haven't decided yet. What's the
character? We gotta figure this out, No we don't. Yeah, there

(16:23):
is no character. I would likeit to be some sort of a person
with some sort of nobility for sure. Okay, so so what you're basically?
Okay, he's noble, yet hedoesn't wear pants. Yeah, let
me put it this way. I'mnot showing up to the Renaissance Fair as
a peasant. Okay, I'm apeasant in my real life. I'm gonna
I'm gonna cause play as something alittle bit better with chain mail jorts.
Yes, they're not even dorts anymoreat that point, they're chorts, chorts.

(16:48):
I like it, chain chain morts, chain morts. Shane Mortz,
that's a good name, chain morts. Oh Siah Chaine Moltz the third.
Except these are pants. They're shortpants. They're short pants. Yeah,
yeah, and your shins are gonnabe exposed. What socks do you wear
when you go to the Renaissance Fair? Has anybody ever thought about this?

(17:11):
Because you never have to see them, You're gonna wear those high long socked
stockings. If I was in ajousting duel, that would be my one
weakness. Right, target the shins, not even the shins, just right
up the right up the old legof your chain mores. Oh that's right.
Ooh, that's in it. Thatcould end poorly. Who This is

(17:36):
why you need to think about thisstuff. Yeah, you're you come up
with some of the most radical ideasin the history of the world, yet
you don't think about some of thedesign flaws. If anybody, if somebody
was like in the middle of makingthese already for you over the last two
minutes, we've wasted their time.Because that's what would happen. You would
go to the Renaissance Fair and Iwould just basically sign you up for jousting

(17:56):
immediately. We'd have to h there'sgot to be a way around this.
I don't know. I guess we'regonna have to workshop that. By the
way, thank you so much forlistening to us. I promise you we're
not as big of an idiots assometimes we sound. We were talking about
these protests and they're everywhere, andwe're trying to figure out what the what

(18:26):
the point is. I have alist I have a list of the demands.
We actually have them in our hand. We have them, we know
what they're asking for. Okay, now again this could change. There's too

(18:48):
many, there's just too many campuses. And Benjamina, who now is seeing
this and he but bit today basicallysaid these are horrific. This is what
German universities were doing in the nineteenthirties. Which if that doesn't like register
in your brain, I don't knowwhat would. Again, I wasn't there

(19:10):
in the nineteen thirties in Germany,so it's hard to make that comparison directly.
But when you say it like that, you're like, jeez, this
isn't good. Well I got that. I want to tell you about the
list of the demands. You wantto hear some of these demands. Ok
these are the demands that are prettyuniversal, but some of them are different
based on the group. Right, among these demands for the protesters, because

(19:37):
remember I asked, like what doyou want? Like what do you want
the United States government to do?Like why are you protesting here? Nothing's
happening here? They said, stopdoing business with military weapons manufacturers that are
supplying arms to Israel, Stop acceptingresearch money, from Israel for projects that
aid in the country's military efforts, stop investing college and doubt moms with money

(20:00):
managers who profit from Israeli companies orcontractors, and be more transparent about what
money is received from Israel and whatit's used for. So there you go.
Those are four of the more commondemands that these college groups are making

(20:22):
as these encampments seem to be growingand growing and growing, and these protests
are growing around the country. SoI guess the question is will our country
listen to them? And do theyactually care about This is the other thing
we need to negotiate. This isthe language of some of these people.

(20:44):
Are most of these people peaceful protesters, and a small loud percentage of them
are the ones that are spewing theanti Jewish hate, because those are going
to be your newsmakers, right Liketwenty twenty with the George Floyd protests,
right, there were a lot ofpeople at these peaceful protests, but at
least in the one where I waswhen this was happening, it was maybe

(21:07):
one percent of the amount of peoplethere that were actually looking to create a
fight or to create real unrest, you know what I mean. But all
anybody in the news cared about wasthe people who were creating the unrest,
trying to break windows and all thatstuff. You know what I mean,
Right, we don't know that yet. But if these leaders of these protest

(21:30):
groups would work and here's my compromise, right, Okay, we're going to
be more transparent. There's a lotthat goes into the idea of what Israel
is. But I need before wecan even start negotiating. I need you
to tell me, and I'm sayingyou was in like the protesting group.
I need you to tell me thatyou're not about anti Jewish hate. I

(21:53):
want to know that you're not proHamas, you're not pro terrorism, you're
not pro violence, that you trulyfeel like this has everything to do with
Israel being real loose with their attacks. It's about Israel and the perceived occupation
of Palestinian people with Gaza and notallowing them to have their own Palestinian state

(22:18):
and not allowing them to have thesame resources that other people have. I
would need to know that you're onthat level before I would negotiate in good
faith with you. Now, I'mnot one hundred percent sure that we're going
to hear what we want to hearon that front. But man, I
tell you what, if there wasever a time right now for a political

(22:45):
candidate to try to make a statementon this or make a statement against this,
it could make a big wave forthe support because, you know,
Matt, because we're talking about allthis, you know what we're not talking
about. What aren't we talking about? Well that the hush money trial and

(23:07):
what else? All the other thingsthat are going on right now, Say
the southern border, Okay, sayMike Johnson potentially being ousted in the House
of Representative because of a foreign aidbill. Say, we're not talking about
any sort of other policy adjustments thatpeople are asking for around the country.

(23:36):
We're not hearing too much about campaignsthat are being made by people heading into
twenty twenty four's general election. Theentire country is paying attention to one story,
and it's this one. It's theseprotests that are sweeping the nation.
And that's what I've been trying towarn you is that, Hey, you

(23:56):
know, as much as the Southernborder is an entirely gigantic crime, there's
so much time between now and electionday. There are going to be other
things that are going to pop upand be important talking points for political candidates.
By the way, speaking of theHushburny TRIALM. They had the day
off today. I don't know why. But they'll be back at it tomorrow,

(24:19):
don't you worry. It is twoforty seven when we come back.
Speaking of the President of the UnitedStates, he was speaking and he was
trying to read a teleprompter and therewas a little bit of a gaff today.
Shocker there. I'll tell you whatit was right here on news radio
