(00:00):
I apologize. You know, notevery day's going to be perfect, but
that you know what, Matt, those days make the good days better.
That makes sense. You kind ofneed the bad days for the good days
to be good. Yeah. Oneof my favorite bands Modest Mouse. I
can't actually say the word that theysay in the lyric, but it takes
bleep to make bliss, you knowwhat I mean? Oh? Yeah,
what's song? What song for ModestMouse? Let me look it up.
(00:22):
It's one of the earlier stuff.I like Dashboard have you you know Dashboard
Gas Confessionals, No Dashboard this songthat's a good one. That's a good
one. Yeah, Modest Mouse.Yeah, they got a really expansive catalog.
I also like Dashboard Confessional for therecord I do too. Yeah,
this good stuff. Before we getinto the Hunter Biden and all this stuff,
I want to start on a weird, interesting note. Hey, who's
(00:48):
the most impressive athlete in the worldtoday? That song is the view by
Modest Mouse. By the way,so who's the most impressive athlete? Yeah?
What do you Who do you thinkis the most impressive athlete in the
world today? In the world today. See, there's a couple that come
to mind that aren't really in theirprime anymore. I'm thinking, you know,
who is that swimmer who's winning allthose gold medals? Michael Phelps that
(01:10):
guy, but he's out of thelimelight. A really fast runner, you
say, bolt, Yeah, buthe's gone at this point. I mean
active athlete, right, I meanlike somebody who was on the television.
You're watching what they do right now? Right? Yeah? Wow, I
don't know. I mean, there'snot a lot of obvious answers here.
I saw a guy throwing some dartsyesterday. It was pretty cool. Is
(01:34):
that the sixteen year old? No? No, I was just kidding.
Oh, I don't know. Nothing. Nobody comes to mind. Nuke Luke
the Nuke is the darts guy.I'm talking about the sixteen year old.
He looks like he's thirty. Butyou got to look that guy up.
That guy, that guy is thenext phenom of darts. I can't remember
his last name. That guy's sixteen. Luke the Nuke. Did you find
(01:57):
him? Yeah, it was hislittler littler, Luke the Nuke Littler.
Yeah, sixteen, Oh, seventeen, sorry, seventeen, My bad,
seventeen, he's seventeen. Yeah, that guy. He's got a million followers
on Instagram. He's a darts champion. He no joking aside, Like Luke
the nuke Littler ends up on myTV. I am watching man in that
(02:22):
same vein though, who else?Who else? What do you think?
Who else? Who else? Yeah, in the same vein. Like let's
let's let's unpack like really obscure sports, really obscure sports, because let's be
honest. In basketball, we're gonnahave taste. Like I'm a huge nicolea
Jokic and Anthony Edwards fan. Thoseare two completely different people. Yeah,
I mean like the like, howdo you? How do you? Caitlin
(02:43):
Clark is in this conversation right likeTV's on, I'm watching her. Pat
Mahomes, Patrick Mahomes. You're notgonna watch Patrick Mahomes when he's on television?
Of course you are. Connor McDavid, Edmonton Oilers, NHL generational,
I'm talking so generational, easily thegreatest of all time? Still do it
right? Now? Here's a hint. Oh yeah, yeah. Joey Chestnut,
(03:06):
Yeah guess what. Yeah, heis banned forever from the Nathan hot
Dog eating contest. Joey did heget caught. Ryden No, the sixteen
time Hot Dog Eating Contest champion, signed an endorsement deal with a vegan company
that's a competitor of Nathan's, thehot dog company that sponsors the eating contest,
(03:28):
the Hot Dog Eating Contest. Theyhave banned him forever, or at
least until the endorsement ends. Isthat the most Unamerican thing that you can
that's the most like Unamerican thing thatcould possibly happen right now, is that
we don't even get to watch Chestnut. I mean everybody else is like,
yeah, we have a chance thisyear, but I mean, I'm out,
(03:49):
really, I'm not watching it.It's ten minutes of people gorging themselves.
And the one thing that we hadwas how many in the in a
row will this guy get? Howmany records will he set on himself?
This guy it's eight seventy five hotdogs in a ten minute span. That's
the dog and the bun okay,And now because of business, because of
(04:10):
an advertising issue, he doesn't getto do it anymore. Obviously, he
doesn't feel like he needs to conquerit. People are higher and him all
over the country to show up andeat their stuff, and he enjoys that
he went to my hometown of aTumbl, Iowa once and did a canteen
eating contest. He ate canteens.Yeah, canteen ouch. No, well
it's a sandwich. Oh it's likea made ride, except it's called a
(04:31):
canteen. Oh not a canteen. Is it like a loose meat sandwich?
Yeah? Oh those are good?Yeah, messy though, who's so messy?
Yeah. It's a nineteen thirty buildingthat's underneath a parking garage that kept
the building up while they built thegarage around it downtown a Tumbla, and
my mom works there. Now,tiny little thing. There's like fifteen seats
(04:51):
in the entire place. And youbuy a loose meat sandwich is called canteens,
and they have pie loose meat, but it doesn't have sauce. Yeah,
well you could put like if theycook it increase. Yeah, it's
real tasty and put mustard, cheese, ketchup, pickle, onion, all
that good stuff on there. Butyeah, and then they have pie,
(05:11):
good pie. But yeah, that'slike that's the place. And then they
decided they were going to do acanteen eating contest and by a Joey chessnik.
Guess what he showed up. Itwas a huge party. He's kind
of conquered the hot doggies sixteen times, he's conquered the contest, So what's
the point. So aren't you kindof excited there's going to be somebody new.
No, this is the one sportI don't need parody in. This
is the one sport I would Iwant to see the domination. This is
(05:33):
the one sport Matt that I wantto see people have to catch and slay
the dragon. I in team sportsbaseball, basketball, football, hockey.
I love parody and I just wanta random result. I love the randomness.
This is a sport I'm watching likedarts. Darts. I am watching
(05:53):
for the rise of Luke Littler tothe greatest darts player in the world,
and then I am going to waitand see if somebody can knock him off.
That so same reason a lot ofpeople started watching golf Old Tiger Woods,
huh. Watch him rise to thetop and then see how long he
can stay there and how many peoplecan try to knock him off. It
meant something when you beat that guy, you know what I mean, meant
something. And when his wife beathim with a golf club. It meant
(06:13):
a lot, including to his uh, his uh, his circulatory system trying
to plot that thing up right, those open wounds. Also, if you're
an NBA fan, just wanted tothere's a report, you know, Kristaps
Porzingi's place for the Celtics, theLatvian guy. He uh, I say,
Kristaps Porzingis You, as a Knicksfan, what's the first thing you
(06:33):
think of? He's hurt. ChristapsPorzinga suffered a torn medial retin retinaqlum retinaculum.
Christaps Porzinga suffered a torn medial retinaculum, allowing dislocation of the posterior to
be alice tendon. I don't knowwhat that means, but Sham's put that
(06:54):
out uh less than an hour ago, so not surprised. I don't know
what that means. I don't knowif that Apparently it's like something with the
foot or or ankle or whatever.Essentially, the medial retinaculum supports the patella.
When torn, it affects the stabilityof a knee. Mmm. Oh
that's that's rough. Yeah, Sohe's done for the series, that's for
(07:15):
sure. Probably, But they're upto h so do they need that AnyWho?
There you go. Joey Chestnut nolonger able to participate in the July
fourth hot dog eating contests because ofbusiness. Is he going to do a
rival eating contest with vegan dogs?Yo? Wha yo? Just what we
(07:35):
need for a divide in America? How do you not have Fox like call
him up? Because ESPN's got therights to the Nathans thing like, like,
why do how is Fox dot callinghim up and say how can we
get some some eaters fund them? And then like on the same day,
July fourth, we do a veganhot dog eating contest and like you and
we do like a different format orsomething, and people watch ours in cent
(07:58):
of theirs because we got Joey Chestnut. Baby goes to Canada and does it
on their Independence Day. Take iteasy, bro. The whole reason this
matters is because he's an American.Come on, I'm just trying to make
it as divisive as problem. Youcan call in four, two, five,
five, eight, eleven ten. We'll get the hunter Biden here.
I know you're just dying to knowwhat I think of this. We'll do
that later on. We'll take ourcalls too and just excited to be with
(08:18):
you. On a Tuesday on newsradio eleven ten KFAB, Hey, Maurice
Songer. On news radio eleven tenKFAB, we went to Chris STAPs Porzingis,
who is a basketball player. Ifyou don't follow, he plays for
the Celtics, who are likely towin the NBA Finals. Are up to
well right now, and we foundout in the last hour Matt he suffered
(08:39):
a torn medial retenaculum, allowing dislocationof the posterior to be allis tendon.
That is that is some that issome stuff. Well, apparently on the
phone lines, we have a callerwho's interested in telling us a little bit
more about that. I don't knowyour name, caller, but I appreciate
you for calling in. Uh what'syour name? Uh Steve Emory? Okay,
(09:03):
thanks Matt for hanging your your boyout to dry over here. Yeah,
hi, Steve, forgot to putyour name in the call screen.
Okay, a r I Steve,So do you know about this remedialyis for
a tiny aculum thing? Okay, well you know I haven't been following it
is is uh Porzingis's injury in hiskneears and his in his ankle. I
(09:24):
think, well, he had ahurt knee and uh but but everything that
I'm seeing is ankle related. Sothey're saying, they're saying left leg.
Okay. Well, I'm an athletictrainer, so I'm going to help you
out with a little anatomy and biomechanicstoday. This is what I signed up
for, all right, Steve hitme, okay, all right. So
(09:46):
the posterior tivvy alice posterior meaning behindtibby alice meaning behind your tibi okay,
and Matt tin and goes behind youryour ankle on the inside. So if
you feel the ankle bone on theinside, okay, that tenon's going behind
there, okay. And if youtore the retinaculum, what happens is that
(10:09):
tent that that ankle bone kind ofacts as a folk rum when you turn
your foot in So if you putyour toes inward, right, okay,
your foot inward, that ten isthe one that's moving it, okay,
all right. And if you tearthat and if you tear the retinaculum,
that flips over that that flips overthat ankle bone, and it's painful.
(10:31):
And it gives you a lot oftrouble with moving that foot in and also
giving the stability on the inside ofyour ankle. Okay, so you so
this seemingly is going to make itdifficult for him to run and jump and
cut on a basketball court. Youwould think, yeah, it will give
you some trouble with those things. And it also helps, uh, plant
(10:56):
the foot and move move forward. It's not the primary muscle that you know
plants the foot, but it doesassist them. So so see do you
yeah, do you interact with basketballplayers? Is this something that he could
potentially play on? Uh? Youknow what? Uh, you know,
he'd have to have it taped, you know, I mean, right the
(11:24):
best way you can. You know, it's the finals. He'll likely have
surgery after after the season is over. Okay. Uh, you know he
might be able to play if theycan stabilize it, but you know it's
gonna be it's gonna be hard forhim. He'll probably it'll it'll definitely limit
(11:45):
his minutes. All right, We'llkeep an eye on this. He hurt
his left leg. This is hisleft leg that we're talking about, the
injury that he missed a month within the playoffs. Earlier in the playoffs
was his right calf, so he'snow got legit lower leg injuries to both
legs. Yeah, I'm guessing upto Oh, they probably sit him game
three, but we'll see. Hey, Steve, this is good. Call
(12:05):
me back if you hear us talkingabout anatomy, so we don't look like
fools. Please, I will alwaystry and assist you. I appreciate that,
Steve. Hey, thanks buddy, appreciate you listening to us. Yeah,
I have a good day. Peopleasked man. Yeah you too,
you too? Hey, there wego. Hey, you just throw it
out there and people take it aroundwith it. I'd like to hear that.
(12:26):
Thanks Steve for calling in. Hey, Matt, guess what somebody said?
We should get Joey on the horn, Joey Chestun on the horn and
invite him to guess where, comeon, guess where? Oh? The
festival? Which one? Which festival? The Festival of Testicles, that's the
(12:46):
one in South Bend. Eh?Right? Has he not been? Probably
not right? Wouldn't we have heardof that? But isn't this kind of
like the opposite of his like thinkof his career move? Can you think
of anything as far as away fromvegan food. Yeah, but he's not
just eating vegan food. I thinkhe's just partnering with a vegan food product.
(13:07):
Maybe they should make Impossible Rocky Mountainoysters. How would it even work?
It wouldn't. Yeah, we shouldget him to the testicle Festival.
So how would that go though?Right? Is that not a choking hazard
as fast as like a guy likethis city. I mean, they're professional
eaters, so I'm not trying totell them how to eat, right,
I'm not the guy. But youknow, have you seen him eat the
dogs? Yeah? Like he justlike stuffs, like he's a stuff guy,
(13:31):
right, Like like remember Kobyashi. When Kobyashi was one of these contests,
he would take a dog in eachhand and then like John Iron like
like you know, just kind oflike what was it like wood chip er
it into his into his mouth atthe same time, and then he eat
the buns after they always dip itin the water. Yeah, he dip
the buns in the water and thenstuff the slides right down. Yeah.
(13:54):
No, no, Joey. Whathe does is he grabs a handful of
whatever he's eating, and obviously he'she knows how many he's grabbing because he's
practiced. And then he just stuffsand then puts his hand over his mouth
to like increase his mouth size, and then stuffed down right, and then
I mean he looks like a messwhen it's going on. I mean he
and then he's like following it.My biggest thing would be like if Chestnut
(14:16):
is is trying to eat the things, the oysters, if you will at
our festival here in South Bend,is that not a choking hazard? Wouldn't
that just like kind of slide andkind of block the air passage if he
doesn't too properly. I don't knowwhat the proper dimensions are for this.
It's worth a try. Hey,you know what that would make for one
epitaph, wouldn't it? What anepitaph? Joey Chestnut, guy who ate
(14:39):
wieners and testicles? You stop it? Web sent that in. I stole
that from Rob now. I mean, but I'm just saying, like,
if that's the way he goes right, Everyone said that Steve Irwin went out
in like the most Steve once said, you know you had to go well,
I mean, wouldn't Steve Irwin bein that situation? Sure? Yeah,
(15:01):
wouldn't it be like kind of epicif Joey Chestnut choke met his demise
at the Testicle Festival from a testicle? Yes, yeah, No, I
don't think that'd be good. It'dmake for a good story at least.
Yeah. Yeah, Well, somebodymake a movie, have a competitive eat
or not named Joey Chestnut, writethat story, see how popular it is,
and then we can tell Joey whetheror not it's good for his legacy
(15:24):
to be down in these oysters.Anyway, two twenty eight. I better
talk about the news at some point. Huh, yeah, I mean if
you want to. Yeah, theHunter Biden conviction on three counts of gun
charges happened earlier today this morning, and we will give you the latest on
that and our thoughts on that. Also in a half hour, we'll talk
(15:45):
to Amy Hornocker, who is oneof the organizers of the College World series.
We now know all eight teams thatare going to be here starting on
Friday, excited for that. She'llbe here at three o'clock. I want
to I want you to listen tous when we talk about all this,
which means you need to stick roundright where you're at, don't touch that
Dial on news radio eleven to tenKFAB and Maurice Song on news Radio eleven
(16:07):
ten kfab. Do we just makethis a bit like we find a random
core case going on and just likecover it like this because we're so in
practice right now, Like I've learnedso much about the procedures. You know,
there's something to that. Really, you know, gotta stay sharp,
you know, right, gotta staysharp. So I'll keep my eye out.
Yeah, there's got to be there'sgot to be somebody kind of notable
that's in court case somewhere. Notable. Yeah, so let's find a celebrity.
(16:30):
Let me just do some Google andwe'll see who's next. All right,
Well, first before I do that, Hunter Biden was sound guilty on
all three counts. He could faceup to twenty five years in prison,
may not get any jail time atall. They did not set a sentencing
date at least yet, could beanytime in the next one hundred and twenty
days. There's it's unlikely he's gonnaend up in jail. Let's be honest.
But you know, Joe Biden alreadyhas made a public appearance since this
(16:52):
morning's verdict. He was in aWashington, DC event and he was a
speaker. You'll never guess what hewas speaking. Are you ready? You
were ready to learn this? Bidenspoke at an event called every Town for
Gun Safety. Every Town for GunSafety. He was scheduled to talk about
gun safety in Washington, d C. Just a mere two or so hours
(17:17):
after his son was convicted on guncharges. Felony gun charges. Hilarious.
You can't write this stuff anyway. After this event is over this afternoon,
he is going to be heading toWilmington. I'm sure to be there for
his son. I have some peoplealready sending emails into Emory at kfab dot
com saying how soon do we seea pardon? Well, the answer is
(17:41):
I think never. He was askedthis Joe Biden I'm talking about, was
asked if he's going to pardon.I don't know how appropriate it was,
but there were reporters at the Normandyd Day thing last week and Biden was
one of the speakers there, andas that event was going on, he
was asked by a member of theUnited States media, would you accept the
results of the jury's verdict in Hunter'scase? And he said yes. A
(18:07):
follow up question said, would youlike, are you officially ruling out that
you would pardon Hunter if he's foundguilty. He also said yes, So
he said twice he will accept theresults from the jury and he will not
pardon him. He's ruling out thathe's pardoning him. I believe him,
and this is why number one,he's gonna get a light sentence. There's
gonna be no reason to pardon him. Okay, Yeah, it's on his
(18:30):
permanent record. You know what elseis in the permanent record the fact that
he smoked crack in the parking lotof a baseball stadium like two days after
he bought this gun. You knowwhat else is public knowledge? The fact
that he got with his dead brother'swidow and was messing around with her and
got her addicted to crack over afew years. Okay, that stuff that's
out there. I'll be honest withyou. The gun charge ain't good.
(18:52):
But you think people are gonna rememberthe gun charge or the fact that Hunter's
creep in a weirdo. And let'sbe honest, this isn't the worst of
it. We still have all thecorruption stuff that we have to investigate.
Right, that's on the way, right A pardon him. Now, Like,
what does that accomplish? Just probablywould make an independent voter, a
person who'd like to think they're fairand down the middle, they would say,
(19:14):
oh, that's not right. Ajury of his peers found him guilty,
why would you pardon him? Itdidn't take him long to find it
out either. I mean, thetrial was barely a week long, and
you're going to pardon him. Thatwill turn the independent voter against Biden.
And that is the last thing theDemocrats need. They know this. I
mean, we don't like them, but they're not dummies. So how do
they use this to gain independent voters? Well, I'll outline it like this,
(19:40):
and this is the exact same reasonthat Joe Biden was in Wilmington,
Delaware throughout this trial in the lastweek, and why Joe Biden, who
wasn't originally going to be in Wilmington, Delaware, is now going to Wilmington,
Delaware to night after his gun safetyevent that he's doing in Washington,
d C. Ironically enough, they'regoing to say, we are a compassionate
family hunter has had plenty of struggleswith addiction, with bad decision making,
(20:03):
and we're going to be there forhim. We love him. He's a
part of our family, and weare going to get him the help that
he needs. He is going tobe a functional member not just of this
family, but of society and thiscountry. And they're going to make that
message pretty clear that they are compassionate, understanding people that are not going to
judge their fifty something year old sonbased on the transgressions that he has made
(20:26):
in the past. And then they'regoing to say, please respect our families
privacy on this matter for the foreseeablefuture. Aka, don't ask me any
more Hunter questions, which conveniently enoughmeans don't ask me any more about the
laptop, don't ask me any moreabout corruption, connections to foreign business leaders
in countries that we aren't friends with. Don't ask me any of that stuff.
(20:47):
I don't want to talk about Hunter. We need privacy on the matter
because we're working with Hunter to rehabilitatehim. Through his probation or his house
arrest or whatever light sentence he's likelyto get. There's going to be no
reason pardon him. And they canfind a way to try to trick the
uninformed voter, the uninformed independent voter, that they are a compassionate group of
(21:10):
people that if you care about otherpeople, the vote isn't about politics.
It's about voting for who the betterperson is. And the better person is
Joe Biden. That's the angle, folks. Now again, June to twenty
seventh, that's sixteen days away, that is when the first presidential debate is.
It's early. It's early. Youknow, RFK Junior being involved in
this moment, it would be justan incredible wrench into the entire plans not
(21:34):
just to buy the administration, butof the TV networks because this is a
guy then could really start saying,I am the only person standing up here
that doesn't have an immediate member ofmy family or myself convicted of a felony
in the last six months, heck, in the last two months, right.
But they're not going to let himin there because it's too early.
He doesn't have enough time to gethis name on enough ballots and to qualify
(21:57):
with the support from around the country. So again, I don't think it's
a great thing for RFK and fornot just him but our country that a
legitimate third party candidate is being stiffarmed out of the debate because the two
major political parties don't want him tobe there because they don't want to lose
support to him, even though thatshould be part of our process. But
(22:21):
at the same time, the reasonI think that this works in the favor
of Joe Biden is going to bea controlled atmosphere. I don't think there's
going to be a live audience.I think they've agreed to that. And
the idea that he is going tosay upfront because they're working with the network's
no Hunter questions. Now, thatdoesn't mean Trump can't bring it up,
but that doesn't mean Biden's going torespond like he's going to plead the Fifth
Amendment, if you will, figurativelyof course, when it comes to any
(22:44):
Hunter related questions moving forward. Andhe's going to say that, not because
he's afraid to talk about corruption inthe laptop, but because be sensitive.
My son just got convicted of threefelony gun charges. We're trying to heal
as a family, and that's howthey're going to try to win independence.
Uninformed voters in November watch it happen, watch and learn if they if he
decided to pardon him. I mean, those same voters are like that doesn't
(23:07):
seem right. I'm not interested inthat type of corruption. If what Hunter
did was wrong, why would hisdad pardon him just because he's a president.
That's not fair. Nobody else wouldhave gotten pardoned for doing the same
thing. He'll never open that conversationup. I just don't see it happening.
It's two forty eight. We'll comeback finish this conversation up for the
time being. Next on news Radioeleven ten Kfab Emery's songer on news Radio
(23:32):
eleven ten Kfab. I'm not tryingto compare falsifying business documents and a gun
charge. You know, these areboth felonies. Thirty four counts on one
side. Maximum sentence of four yearsfor my guy in his late seventies.
Guy in his fifties commits three felonygun charges by filling out an incorrect form
(23:55):
known drug user. A lot ofquestions about the legitimacy of his business practices
and corruption within politics because of whohis father is and where he is located
in the access that he has alot of questions right, twenty five years
maximum sentence there Now, both guys, I am anticipating not getting any jail
time at all, but the politicalgame that we play is you know which
(24:18):
side is worse. Now, obviouslyit's way worse that Donald Trump, who
is actually running for president, isinvolved in this, and Hunter Biden is
not running for office at all.He just happens to be the son of
the sitting president. But this isalso an incrimination on the behavior of Hunter
Biden because now not only is hea convicted felon, also based on the
(24:40):
information we have, and there's noway that will get overturned on appeal,
there's a chance that something later couldaffect the ruling. I did have an
emailer send this in and say Hunter'sconviction likely will be overturned. There's a
case going through the Supreme Court afterthe Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that
nonviolent felons still have a constitution noright to keep in bare arms. Okay,
(25:03):
So that that's one one item, right, this one thing that we
can pay attention to, right.I do think that maybe local gun laws,
drug addiction, people who are addictedto drugs that think that's a nonviolent
crime to have illegal substances. Atthe same time, I do think it
(25:23):
is a safety hazard to this personand the people around them to have a
weapon. So I guess we're goingto see where the Democrats really fall on
the whole Second Amendment thing, rightis, here's a guy who is being
charged with violating gun laws, thesestrict gun laws that these Democrats say need
to be stricter and stricter and stricter. And now there's a chance that there
(25:47):
are going to be some Democrats saying, Oh, really, wasn't that big
a deal because he's a nonviolent criminal. Yeah, he has bad stuff in
his system, but is that reallya thing worth keeping him from owning a
firearm legally? You gotta to pickyour side here. I would guess most
Democrats will say, yeah, hebroke the law, The law should be
stricter, he should never have agun. In fact, a lot of
those Democrats will say, nobody needsguns. Yeah, we know where that
(26:10):
conversation goes go south real quick. But my point is the political divisiveness of
not just this this thing, butthe political divisiveness on which you know,
party or which political side is morecorrupt or is more in trouble with the
law with regularity. Even though Hunter'snot running for office, this is an
(26:33):
indictment on his behavior and lends credibilityto any accusation that has been made with
corruption involving him, his business dealings, in his father's access to the White
House when he was the vice president, and who knows now that he's the
president and the only time is goingto tell on all this. But we
talk about I always say I'm aneternal optimist. I don't think America is
(26:55):
in its worse shape it's ever been. I think America has definitely been as
divisive or more divisive multiple different spotsin the history of our country, and
that includes obviously the Civil War.I don't think that needs to even be
said. I think if you lookat the sixties in the Vietnam War and
stuff like that, a lot ofdivisiveness all over stuff that was going on
in our country and what was happeningin Vietnam. But I will say one
(27:18):
thing I can agree on is I'mnot sure we've ever had a worse type
of discourse over two political families thatare running against each other for the White
House. And we still have likefive months to try to unpack even more
nasty stuff that they did, andwe as an American public have to decide
(27:40):
which one we'd rather have not agreat spot to be sitting in. I'll
be honest, but you know whatall we can do is try to tell
the truth and get the right candidateinto the White House. And I think
you all know what that means. We're going to come back talk baseball College
World Series just a few days away. We know the eight teams coming,
and we'll talk to one of theorganizers, Amy Hornocker. Next right here
