(00:00):
Cheers to everybody out there. Hopefullyyou're having a good week so far.
And now I'd like to welcome mynext guest to the show, the newest
and most influential campaign influencer of that'skind of redundant. I suppose campaign correspondent
and supporter of strategies and communications MatCase joining us on in the studio here

(00:29):
and Mac. It's an honor,it truly is to have such an influential
person into this particular radio show onwhat is going to be a monumental day
for the White House. Wow.Just happy to be here. I just
learned to this title myself, soI will do my best to live up
to it. Well, you rememberwhat you said. What did you say

(00:50):
a couple days ago when we weretalking about this, what would be the
one thing that Joe Biden could doto try to save himself? Right now?
You said it? Well, yeah, old Joe Biden. You just
just get in front of the people, take some questions. Who knows which
direction they're gonna go, stand infront of people, prove to us that
you can talk without a teleprompter andgive good, lengthy responses to very important

(01:11):
pressing issues that we're all going throughright now in this country. And yeah,
and guess what's happening today, andand they're doing that today. They're
gonna do that today. How aboutthat first time since like what that he's
taking questions? It's been a while, it's been months, a long time.
Look, I gotta tell you yousaid that. I'm like, I
don't know if they'll ever agree todo that because they know what the risk

(01:34):
is. But now that so manyDemocrats are saying, look, put up
or shut up, it's like he'sgot to kind of prove himself to them.
It's kind of it's kind of it'salmost like a game of poker,
you know, like like on eitherside, does he have a does he
have like a two and a jackand that's about it, you know,
or does he have a he havesome pocket aces in there? You know,

(01:55):
like what's going on? Like heprobably feels like he has a pretty
good deck. Well, the onlyreason he would do this if he feel
like he can do it right. And so either way, we're kind of
saying I'm going in, you goingin, And the answer to that is
most certainly he's going in. Yeahyou can't. Okay, So anybody who
thinks he's going to show up todayand say I'm resigning or I'm no longer
running. In November, just seventytwo hours after we were talking about him

(02:19):
sending a letter a letter to Democratsin Congress saying I'm the best person for
this job. You just don't knowthis stuff very well. Right. These
people, no matter who they are, are obviously way too proud to make
that determination. There are people thathave over have been in charge of,
and overseen so many horrific things thathave happened in our country over many,

(02:42):
many years that it's hard for meas an American to think any one of
them has the gall, the nerve, also the awareness to just tell it
like we're seeing it. You knowwhat, I messed up. I made
a mistake. I didn't do theright thing there. That's my When's the
last time you've heard a politician,a sitting politician, especially in an election

(03:04):
year, say something like that. It's never It's never happened, not in
my lifetime, not that I canremember where a sitting politician has blatantly apologized
for something they did or something theywere in charge of, how it failed.
They just don't say that. They'llblame it on somebody else. They'll
blame it on something else. Heck, Joe Biden having a terrible debate performance.
It's been blamed on everything under thesun. Oh well, he's usually

(03:25):
only doing his business between ten amand four pm. Oh well, he
was traveling all over the world andhe had jet lag, even though we
know he was at Camp David fora week before the debate. Oh you
know, he had a cold.Even though we would didn't give him any
cold medicine, he still had acold. That's why he had that performance.
Right every single day, even afterthis letter on Monday, more and
more people, supporters, Congress, people, people in different states, leaderships

(03:50):
in this party have been saying,we have to make sure that we have
a chance to win in November, and we don't have it with Joe Biden.
As it stands right now. Theonly people that are really backing him
up with every ounce of their supportare the people that work in his White
House right now, and that includesKamala Harris and every single person who's hoping
they get selected to be the nextperson if he's not. They want to

(04:13):
be team players, you know whatI'm saying. Yeah, the best backup
quarterback can do in the press isto be like, well, I just
really hope he does a really goodjob talking about the starter. You know,
I'm there for him. I wantthe team to win, and I
hope that he's really successful. Butif they need me, like I'm right
here. That's kind of the vibeI'm getting, even though they're not saying
if they need me, I'm righthere. When I hear Whitmer talk,
when I hear Newsom talk, wheni hear Shapiro talk, when I'm hearing

(04:36):
any of these people that they're floatingnames around here, they just keep talking
about how great Joe Biden is andthat they're there for him and if they
need if anybody needs anything, ifthe team needs them, if the Democrats
need him, they are right there. That's what it sounds like. I
think there's a better chance of himreciting the Gettysburg address word for word and
starting out with four score and sevenyears ago than it is for him to

(04:57):
say I am going to step down. I'm not running for reelection. It's
been made clear to me that I'mnot the right choice for this party at
this time. Because he had reasonstoo. We can't forget they had the
primary and caucus season over six months. Nobody got a chance to really have
a fair shaken vote on this, even though he did a victory lap about
the numbers and how he won almosteighty seven percent of the vote, which
is kind of insane with no legitimatecandidate opposing him, that he would lose

(05:19):
thirteen percent of the vote. Atthe same time, I think it's worth
noting that, hey, we havea process for this to pick the nominee,
and I overwhelmingly won that nomination. He's not wrong. The Democrats didn't
want to help prop up somebody torun against him. That it's really just
an undemocratic practice for them, asthe Democrats, oddly enough that they're just

(05:41):
going to hand select the next personto be the president or be the nominee
for the presidency instead of letting theAmerican people have their say. And if
the American people had their say,you know, Jason Palmer would be one
of the finalists. Nobody else wona primary or caucus. You got a
point there. Jason Palmer gets aphone call, It's like wait, what,
Oh, sure, yes, I'llbe there. Nobody outside of Omaha,

(06:01):
Nebraska, the American Samoa and theMarianna Islands know who this guy is,
but we do. We do,and we've been telling everybody in Oma'll
look out for Jason Palmer. Yeah, two sixteen. So what is he
going to say today? What ishe going to start out with? And
what can we expect when this presserbegins in just over three hours time.
We will try our best to figurethat out with you every step of the

(06:25):
way. Stick around, grab yourpopcorn. It's going to be a fun
show. On news radio eleven tenkfab. Emrie Sunger on news radio eleven
ten kfab. He's supposed to betaking live questions, But Matt, I
have to ask you had recent storiesabout hosts in very specific markets, serving
very specific demographics, in very specificswing states who have admitted to being given

(06:50):
questions by the White House to askthe president and then doing so. I
have to ask, how controlled oruncontrolled will this environment be with this questioning?
And how are we the people supposedto know who's asking these questions?
So many things to consider, becauseit does seem like his support system that

(07:11):
has helped him get to hear andhelped shield everything we know about, you
know, the things that he mightbe going through right now to the public
shield that to the public. Now, who's still there in the right positions
to make something like that happen.Would the media right now be complicit with
that? They may have been amonth ago, much less so now.
Also sidebar, are they going tofind like a Peter Doucy deep fake?

(07:36):
I assume he'll be there. They'regonna just like put a guy with like
one of those like green body suitsand just like deep fake him because I
don't think he's going to go alongwith it. You wouldn't think so.
Well, here's the other thing, though, is you could plant people to
ask specific questions that he's ready for. I want to know who's there.
And I'm sure as most pressers go, like if you watch a press conference

(07:58):
after a sporting event, get donewith the sporting event, they come out,
they sit at the desk, andthey take questions afterwards, and almost
every single time that somebody has calledon or it's their turn to ask a
question, they start with Emery Songereleven to ten kfab Omaha. Yeah,
right, so we know who theyare and where they're from. We had
a lot of questions about the legitimacyof what that debate was going to be.
It turned out to be one hundredpercent real. They didn't protect anybody,

(08:20):
They didn't protect anything. He didn'thave any help, he didn't have
any note cards, he didn't havea teleprompter. They were all on the
same stage, like you could seethem. There were other people there.
The moderators didn't protect him at all, like it was legitimate. They didn't
play camera tricks. So I kindof feel like this is probably going to
be as real as possible. Butmy thing is what a risky thing to

(08:41):
do now? He has, likeyou said, he's been protected, and
obviously the people in his White Houseare trying to help him get through all
of this. But anybody who's tellingus that there's a deep state running him
within the political left, the establishmentleft, the last week has proven that
to be inaccurate. And I knowI'm going to get for phone calls now
from everybody who is jumping on thoseconspiracy theory websites that want to tell us

(09:03):
all this stuff. And I'm notsaying that it's not worth asking the question.
So don't don't think I'm trying tobe disrespectful to your opinion on this,
But there's absolutely no way that thereare people in his White House trying
to protect him when a greater numberthan ever of Democrats are calling for him
to get out of the way. They are not on the same page here.
And if this is just a biglike ruse or a big TV show

(09:26):
and we're being set up in someway, they're running out of time.
Man, the financials on this, you know how the finances work, It's
pretty convoluted. There's a way topass a lot of the money he's raised
to Kamala. I mean, ifKamala takes over and then she can just
get it, they and just givethat to her because she was on the
ticket when they raise the money. But when they raise the money, if
she's not the person that they decideto go with for whatever reason, which

(09:48):
I don't know if there's even anotheroption at this point. There he's got
to send the money through packs afterhe pays off all of his vendors and
his debts and all that stuff, which she at this point doesn't have to
do right now. Be a bigloss of a lot of the money that
they have raised, and a bigfu if you will, to any Democrat
supporter who has sent them money. So if it's a big ruse. They

(10:09):
have fumbled this so badly and trippedover their own feet. And you're telling
me that the White House and hisadministration are protecting him by sending questions to
people specifically and strategically selected markets forinterviews to help make him look as coherent
as possible, while at the sametime, many Democrats, including some who
have been big donors to him orinfluences to his campaign, like George Clooney,

(10:33):
saying he needs to get out ofthe way. I'm not crazy here.
Right, we had that dinner thatended up donating twenty three million to
a record for that type of fundraiser. Yet that was just a couple months
ago. Right, it was aweek before the debate. Oh a week
before, man, So ten dayslater it's recently, Yeah, are about

(10:54):
two weeks later? George Clooney's like, this is not good. And I
told you what he said, Like, I tell you what, man,
When a guy like Clooney you canmake fun of the fact that he's an
actor and why should we listen tocelebrities and all that stuff, A guy
who basically helped he was the motorbehind a twenty three million dollar fundraiser for
this candidate goes into an essay andsays, the guy you saw at the

(11:15):
debate was the same guy I sawat that fundraiser. That is pretty damning
evidence right there from a guy whohas been a lifelong supporter of democratic causes.
And the reason why people listen tohim is because he has the money
and the influence to make people listento him. They donate money because he's
a part of it. He addslegitimacy to it for people who might not
be hardcore politic people. There's alot of people out there that their way

(11:37):
into politics is through celebrity, andnot very many celebrities have the poll that
George Clooney has proven to have throughthe Democratic Party over time, if that
makes sense. And I know alot of people want to just troll and
say, well, Donald Trump madefun of him because he didn't have a
great movie career. I don't know, man, He's had a pretty solid
career. I know he's a TVguy. I mean his run on er
he's about as a successful a showin our lifetime as he's had some great

(12:01):
movies too. Oh brother, wherearthou ocean? One of these the oceans
brace those two. Yeah. Yeah, I'm just telling you, like we
control all you want. There's nodoubt that the guy's been successful and he's
got still a lot of pull.If he's hosting a fundraiser with the president
and pulling in twenty three million dollarsin one shot, and then for weeks
later just to be saying he can'tdo this, that means something. Okay,

(12:22):
So anybody who thinks all the Democratsare in on this and one person
or one entity is just running allof them, that can't be true.
It can't be There's no way they'reall fool in us the same way.
There's no way. Don't you thinkthat that Clooney is more responding to the
fear. He's responding to the responsethan he is. The only thing to
fear is fear itself. That's whathe's fearing right now, because two weeks

(12:45):
before he was totally on board, and he even admitted in his letter that
that was the same president at thatfunction. Yeah, that was up on
the debate. Yeah, but atthe same time, it is show business.
So you say you're gonna be ina place, you say you're going
to be raising money, you can'tjust like, pull the plug when you
see the guy, because he's nothanging out with Biden every day. I'm
sure that was the first time he'sseen him in a while. And then
he sees him, he'says like,oh gosh, this is not the same

(13:07):
guy as he was in twenty twenty. I mean, he's not gonna pull
the plug on the fundraiser. You'restill going to do the best that he
can. But then he sees thedebate and how horrific that was. He
feels like he has to say something. At a point, I have to
applaud the man for going against theestablishment Democrat there, right, because he's
the president and he had the gumptionto say, look, he's not the

(13:28):
guy anymore. Now. If you'rea Republican, you got to keep Biden
in there. You're cheering for Biden. You're trying to discount all this stuff
and say, oh, no,he's fine because you want to run against
him in November. How the tablesturn. Just a year ago they were
trying to impeach this guy. Nowthey wanted to be in office politics.
It's all about winning and then wecan govern and we can figure out the
policies after that. But we needthe power first. You need to win
first, don't forget that. Andwe're seeing this with the Biden White House

(13:52):
and all the people that work withJoe Biden. They want to protect him
at all costs because they all wantto be in the White House, even
if it's not a part of thegrand Er plan what the Democratic Party is
looking for. Yeah, you cancall us afe. You got thoughts on
this four h two five five eight, eleven ten. We'll continue to talk
about what we expect to happen inthree hours time, when we expect Joe
Biden to hit the stage of apress conference. We are allowed to believe

(14:13):
he is going to take questions andnot have a prompter. We will talk
more about it here on news radioeleven ten kfab. Emory song on news
Radio eleven ten kfab. I don'twant to spend too much time because I'm
sure people are just like, ugh, I don't want to hear about your
awesome vacation you're about to take.But it's a tiny country. Everything's pretty
close to each other. We werethinking about a place as like on the

(14:37):
French border, because indoors a littleplace in between Spain and France. But
it's like forty minutes because of themountains, you have to kind of take
highways that are out of the wayto get back to the main hub,
which is Andoorra Leavea. And wedecided to get something like within five or
ten minutes of indoor Levea. Andthen yeah, it's in a place called
I think they say Seplun Seaspe.Seaspe's looks like Sispini, like cis Pony

(15:01):
is like a little village where theAirbnb is just to the north of indor
Levea. But it's actually apparently inCatalan, which is the language they speak
Ceaspoon. All right, but I'llshow you some photos and we'll talk about
that earlither. Okay, So wewere talking about Joe Biden doing this pressure

(15:22):
and we were talking about the time. Right, the time is five thirty
our time, six thirty Eastern timewhere he is in Washington, right,
and this is coming on the heelsof you know, the NATO summit thing
that they had in Washington. Weremember a couple of days ago when he
spoke, We listened into some ofwhat he was saying. Yeah, and
there was one thing that was involvedthat had not been involved in the debate,

(15:45):
which was teleprompter. We are ledto believe that this press conference isn't
going to have a teleprompter, whichmeans that this is the first time since
the debate that will have truly anythingoff the cuff about this guy, right,
because every interview that we know hehas done, he has been in
some way protected. Right. Andhow has he been communicating this week to

(16:06):
his fellow Democrats through letters? Hewrote letters. He wrote a letter Monday
morning saying I'm in the race forgood or for bad. I'm the best
guy to beat Trump. Stop itwith. The talk could have been written
by anybody. It was definitely notwritten by him, but it's his ideals,
right, He's on board with it. It's same thing with every speech
a president ever does. No,no president writes his own speech fair enough,

(16:27):
you know what I mean? Yeah, like the state of the unions
and stuff like. They have ideas, they talk about it, their brainstorm,
and then they have a speech writer, like somebody who's very good with
prose and with syntax and knows howto kind of create moments with their words.
Like some of the great writers ofall time couldn't actually deliver their speeches

(16:47):
and some guys who couldn't write alick absolutely can deliver speeches. Now,
Joe Biden, he thinks he's sucha good communicator. He even stole somebody's
speech one time, remember that?Yeah? Was that an eighty eight in
the run up to the election.Yes, I don't know, man,
It's pretty interesting, don't you think. Now again, I'm not trying to
be facetious conspiracy theory guy, butuh, what do you? Let's play

(17:12):
fantasy fantasy press conference? Fantasy pressconference, baul yep, Okay, ready,
Yeah, I'm gonna ask you aquestion and you have to answer,
like what you think. The mostlikely thing is maybe this is more sports
bookie. The first question he fields, Let's pretend it's legitimate, totally legitimate.
The reporters are legitimate, they havetheir own questions. What's the first

(17:33):
question? I would think the firstquestion is gonna be something about the doctor
visits, something about the Parkinson's doctorvisits bingo. So then you have to
wonder is he gonna come out andjust like categorically dismiss any questions of that.
He can't. Sure he can't,though you don't think so. He
can't, because why else would yoube doing this, you know that's gonna

(17:56):
happen. If that's not the firstquestion, it's the second question. Is
this four questions or is this likeone of those where he comes out and
has like a fifteen minute prepared statement. This should not be that. I
don't need another prepared statement by thisguy. You know sometimes he wanders off
when the questions start. Yeah, but this is all designed to be he's
answering questions. Okay, like veryspecifically, so maybe well, what do

(18:17):
you think though, is like beingstatement? What would he be saying that's
any different than the letter on Mondayor what he said at NATO the other
day when he was talking about thestrength and what he's been saying for months.
Right, I don't need another preparedstatement that he's reading off the teleprompter.
Let's just get to the questions. If he does that, dude,
F I'm gonna give him an Fimmediately, I'll interrupt his statement with the

(18:40):
F buzzer because we're gonna play thisassuming he goes on live. Think about
this, What if he does it? What if we're just sitting here stranded
hoping he talks at some point inthe last half hour of the show.
Do you think that the higher upsare gonna let us just like roll through
until the six o'clock hours so wecan hear that. I don't know.
I might just do that. Itdepends. How long do you think he
could poss go though? That's theother thing sports book, ball, press

(19:03):
conference, fantasy press conference, ball. Yeah, how long? How long
from the first the first question isasked like the beginning of the first question
is asked to the end of himtaking questions. I think he's got to
go as long as he possibly can, as long as there's questions. Yeah,
well, they'll keep him there allnight. There's no way. Here's
here's my question to you. Ishe going to be more Bobby Knight or
more Bill Belichick? Okay, soBobby Knight is incredibly animated and angry,

(19:29):
and and we know Joe to geta little angry sometimes if people are testing
the waters. Bill Belichick pretty monotonedoesn't always give you a whole lot of
anything in the answers on to Cincinnati. Yeah, correct, Definitely more Night
though, because he wants to showhow alive he is. You know what
I mean, he wants to beI was going to say a famous night
quote. But then I felt like, do I have to dump that?

(19:52):
Would I have to dump it?Maybe? I don't know, it was
just a little insensitive given some ofthe situation. Or yeah, yeah,
of course what he told the criticsthat they could do. Oh yeah,
yeah, yeah, Oh it's whatI told you the critics to do,
my critics. Okay, fair enough, remember this? Yeah, I do
remember that. Can you hear that? It's a gesture that will not be
named or described. Yeah, that'swhat That's what my my daughters can do.

(20:17):
And that's what I think he's gonnathink. I don't know if he'll
say it like that, or youknow what, if there is a legitimate
good crop chop, crotch chop doneby Joe Biden, I think that improved
is his his popularity. He's gotto come in on one of those like
hover skateboard things, you know thatyou need a lot of coordination. Oh
ysh buzz in on one of thoseand then his head like he falls over,

(20:40):
his head, slams onto the floor. No, no, in the
press conference. And then and thenbecause all this conspiracy theorists out there,
they're gonna be like, oh,who was in charge of the was Kamala
Harris in charge of the motor scooter? Uh? Did she override it?
No? Come on, we'll playmore fantasy press conference ball next and try

(21:03):
to figure out some of the thingswe can expect because it's both allegedly less
than three hours away. Five pointthirty. Joe Biden has taken questions from
the press, and we're gonna tryto bring that as much of it as
we can live to you at theend of our show. So stick around
on news Radio eleven to ten kfabem Ry's songer on news Radio eleven ten
kfab friends up fandor doesn't take yourtax money? What do they do?

(21:32):
How do they come spend your money? With our economy the government doesn't want
to take, like isn't gonna taxyou on it's duty free tax. So
I would think that tourism helps themmake that work. The only way it
works. Yeah, only like eightyper thousand people live in the whole country.
We need to build a mountain here, like some just right outside Omaha.
Just build a mountain range. Builda mountain range. Yeah, that'll

(21:52):
get people coming around and the LUsHills people will be like what the heck
man? The first man made mountain. You know, I'm sure somebody made
a mountain somewhere. Anyway, speakingof mountainous things, we're playing fantasy press
conference ball and tonight is going tobe this big thing. My question to
you was, what's the first question? You and I agree on this.
It's got to be about the Parkinson'sspecialist doctor that saw him, and they

(22:15):
had to, like Kevin O'Connor, his regular physician had to write a letter
of his own to tell people whythat was happening. Yeah, and so
Joe can explain why why he's beenseeing that guy, what the issues might
be that Kevin O'Connor couldn't do hisphysical instead this neurologist guy, a neuroloda
specialist doing this. And then canyou explain why he had been there eight
times in the last eight months? And the answer could be as simple as

(22:37):
he's been seeing other people, likehe comes to the White House once a
month and he has appointments with otherpeople. It's not just me. I
would believe that too. You askedme more likely to be Bobby Knight or
Bill Belichick. I think Bobby Knight. He wants to show people a lot
of energy and wants to show peoplehe's alive. Fantasy press conference ball for
you. Question two, what isagain and time from the first question asked

(23:02):
to when he walks off the stage? How long is the questioning period?
How long do they let that go? I don't have a whole lot of
frame of reference based on like howlong tip I know it's been since we
watched a ninety minute thing, aninety minute debate where he was standing up
there. There's no way they're goingto hold him out there for that long.
My like, randomly, the firstthing that came to my mind was

(23:22):
about fifty minutes. But then Iwas like, maybe fifty is what I
thought. D I'm going to skewthat down to maybe, like, let's
go twenty eight minutes. I wasgoing to say thirty Okay, I thought
a half hour. And I'm guessingsomebody is going to be with a stopwatch
right on the side of the stageand say this is the last one.
How many questions does he get to? Because you can control how many questions
you feel by how long you answerthem. They're not going to interrupt the

(23:45):
President of the United States. Ifhe's talking, they're not going to interrupt
him. I'll say seven to nine, seven to nine, you need a
specific number, Okay, I'll say, like, where would you set the
over under if you were Vegas overunder it at Let's set it at eight
eight questions in thirty minutes? Andtwenty eight is what I said. Yeah,
so what what's that? Like?Almost four minutes a question? Almost?

(24:06):
Yeah, three to four minutes aquestion. Maybe that's a little I
don't know. I don't know.I think that's I think that's reasonable.
I was going to say ten, because how long can he riff on each
question? And if he has tenquestions, how many of them are going
to be like, let's say it'sten questions, how many of ten questions
are going to be related to Parkinson'sdoctor? Some of them could be pretty
quick, so you have to youhave to do the average. Though.
Is he going to have like aten minute answer to one because you know

(24:30):
he's going to have a thirty secondanswer to another. Yeah, but again,
too many short answers. People aregoing to be like, this guy
is not coherent, Like he can'texpand on this, even if less is
more. This whole thing is toshow that he can he can do this.
Are you picking up what I'm puttingdown. Mm hm, So so
what do you think, Like,I think how many questions are related to

(24:52):
the doctor? Out of ten relatedto the doctors to the doctor, not
his personal health. He's gonna it'sgonna be mo health. I think three.
I think I think three or fourfor sure. Yeah, here's the
other thing. How many people aregoing to ask him who should replace him?
Because that's like a loaded question, right, Like, if he steps
out, who should replace you?If he says absolutely nobody, which is
