Speaker 1 (00:00):
Let's go to Vincent. Vincent, thanks for the call today.
What do you got on your mind?

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Well, first of all, thank you for taking my call.
My personal opinion is that the Republicans and the Democrats
really need to cool it. We all love this country.
We are all in a situation where the whole world
is watching, our children are watching, our grandchildren are watching.

(00:25):
And when we call each other names like communists and
losers and things like that, what we're sending. The message
we're sending to them is that we're showing no respect
for fellow Americans. See, the day after the election, it's
hard for us to go back and start showing that respect. Now.
We want to respect them, We want our children to
respect us. We want our children to respect our teachers,
we want our children to respect our politicians and our presidents.

(00:48):
But we're not showing respect to the other side. So
it's hard to be a hypocrite in front of our
children and grandchildren and then turn around and say, oh,
glad our side won. How can you celebrate And all
you did was put down the other side. And we're
all in the same country and we're all trying to
fight for the same cause as which is to take
care of our families. We need to get to see
the big picture. We all need to grow up. The

(01:10):
adults in the room aren't always the presidents and the
senators and the congressmen. The adults in the room aren't
always the people with children. Having children don't make you
an adult. So let's just be realistic here. Let's start
acting like adults. Let's start talking to our children. Let's
start talking to each other like adults. If I don't
agree with the Republicans, I'll look at Donald Trump and say,

(01:32):
Donald Trump, I don't like you, but I respect you. Kamilo,
you may not be very intelligent, but I respect you.
And either way go, I don't vote for either one
of them. I'm an independent. So what does that make mean? Right?

Speaker 1 (01:46):
Well, that's the thing, Vincent, that's interesting because you haven't
picked a side necessarily. I think everybody's trying to figure
out whether or not they should hate you or love you.
And that's the unfortunate thing. And that gets right along
with the other call that I just took. We are
creating opinions about people based solely on their political affiliations,
and that to me makes absolutely no sense. You know,

(02:06):
how many other things in my life are important to me,
or how different my personality is versus maybe some of
the politicians I might align with. But you're already making
an opinion about me specifically based solely on the fact
that I support an individual or a political party. It's
crazy that that's happening right now, but a lot of
people are leading with that. They're saying, look, I'm a Republican.

(02:27):
Where are my Republicans at? It just feels very cultish
on both sides. To me, there's so much more to
life than that.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
You're making a very good point. You're making my point
for me. I thank you for responding in that regard. Also,
our children are watching, Our young people are watching. Eleven
and twelve year olds are watching. They're going to be
the next senators and congressmen and presidents, and they need
to see more respect for the other sides. And in
regards to a publican Democrats, I don't support what you decide.

(02:57):
I'm an independent, which means I'm like a little bit
of both sides. I disagree with both sides, but I
think the most important thing is to show that I'm
an adult. I'm an adult enough to let my children
and friends and neighbors. Know, Hey, I may not agree
with you, you may not agree with me, but I
respect all religions, all races, all colors, all creeds, and

(03:18):
all religious affiliations. Even on my Facebook page sometimes I'll
put that little comment on there. You know I respect
all races, all religious because I say things on Facebook
everybody else do too. But yeah, I need well and
I really want the world to know America is united
and if China and Russia want to get some, they
can get some. I'm ex Navy, ex marine, you know
what I mean, ex Corman.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Well, thanks for your service.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
Sir, I'll do it all over again if I was
youving stupid enough.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Hey, Vincent, what I'm going to say is, is this
on behalf of everybody who's listening to this show. Your
perspective is incredibly valuable, even if people may not agree
with the premise of it. I certainly feel like your
voice should be heard. And if you want to please
call us again sometime when something is on your mind,
please do. I'd love to chat with you again sometime soon.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Thank you, Hembriy. You're the only reason I call on
this show, so I appreciate you.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
Matt Thank you really appreciate that. Vincent. You have a
great rest of your day. All right, how about that
great call.
