I guess one of the other things that I kind
of wanted to talk about was how, like, what are
we looking for in in life to provide us happiness.
I was on a two, like, like I said, two
week vacation. You kind of have a chance to like
sit back and you can kind of reflect and how
fun that was.

their travels, and it's it's helpful for somebody like us,

a lot of travel, and I'm not nearly season enough

to feel like being on the go that much in
places I'm not familiar with makes sense. I was ready
to be home at the same time I'm watching people
fawn over moo dang, are you familiar with I'm gonna
say yes, but I'm actually not. I just you don't
want to want to be a part of the crowd,
you know, you want to be a cool kid. Yeah,

Incredibly cute. Now we've had America has had their fair

share of baby hippos as well. Remember Fiona the Premature,
a premium hippo. She was born like two or three
months early in the Cincinnati Zoo and surprised everybody and
they had to really nurse her to get her to
full strength. But she had a very spunky personality. And
now she's a full grown, healthy hippo over in the
Cincinnati Zoo and she's still like the super lovable.

But she's big now, right, she's real Prima Donna.

Yeah, she's very big, right, And this little baby is,
you know, capture the hearts and minds of people. I
wonder why that is? What do people see in moudang
that makes them happy, well, very cute. It's a tiny hippo.

The fat wrinkles helps, and just the general like constant
shimmer and glaze of the hippo. Yeah, they gotta stay

And the reason being is because they secrete, like hippos

on their skin. It kind of helps protect them.

But if they're not like regularly like dipping themselves in water,
which sometimes baby hippos don't do a very good job,
bacteria can build up on their skin. And so her

two that they're spraying her down so she's not secreting

be like I'm not trying to tell you that. But
I get a lot more joy in my life and
I feel happier being alive. Yeah, we can talk about

important stuff. Yeah, I care about like the upcoming election
and what our policies are. I care about like how
my neighborhood looks. I have my neighbor across the street
is moved. Somebody knew has bought the house. I don't
know who it is. I'm you know, a little concerned about,
like what kind of person's moving to our neighborhood. I
care about that kind of stuff, right, But I'm not
going to lose sleepover you know why, because I'm going
to watch videos of mood dang right, I'm going to

watch sports that for baseball game earlier, the Braves and Mets,
the game game one of this doubleheader where it was
back and forth. It was a crazy game. I had
fun just watching that in the commercial breaks, right, I
find things that put smile on my face.

I like to make my wife happy.

I have to go watch movies, TV shows, play games,
and I don't know, after being gone for two weeks
and not really thinking too much about a lot of
serious stuff, and you know, I'm trying to have as
much fun as possible. Learning about new cities I've never
been to, learning about a culture I've never been to.
That's the kind of thing for me that elevates to

the next level my happiness of knowing, yeah, I can
still care about stuff that's really important to me or
be concerned about different things, while at the same time
feeling very hopeful that this world is okay.

in our town. And I hope that we can kind
of over the next four weeks as we kind of
prepare for an election in four or five weeks or
whatever it is, and we have a big, you know,
vice presidential debate and stuff, You're going to have a

there's going to be a lot of people that are
trying not to be tolerant of each other, each other's opinions,

each other's feelings, and I just feel like there's a
lot more to life than hating each other over politics.
We used to be able to talk to each other
through politics in different ways. Social media has kind of
exacerbated the ability of the uh trash talking that involves
that tribalism that politics has right now. But my hope
is that as a society we can find things that

make a smile to deviate ourselves from the norm of
the things that don't make a smile, like watching the
Chicago White Sox, for instance. I threw that in there
because they're my favorite baseball team and they've been very
unfun to watch this year either way.
