Speaker 1 (00:00):
Oh that's nice.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Yeah, and then you get back here, do you know
what it's gonna be doing.

Speaker 1 (00:04):
No, it's gonna be a high of eleven.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Nice.

Speaker 1 (00:07):
Great, Thanks, thanks for that.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Come back in your thong sandals and your tank top
and my thong underwear. Well down in Florida. You gotta
do it, don't you. Folks? People know what I'm talking about. No, no, no, no,
they don't know, they don't. I'm packing shorts.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
I feel like sixty is gonna feel like mega short
weather based on how like the temperature I've been used to.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
To negative four for a low Monday night? Is your
flight coming back Monday night?

Speaker 1 (00:35):
No, it's Monday morning. I come back Monday morning.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Okay, so it's a high a ten negative two Sunday night,
So it'll be somewhere between ten and negative two when
you arrive, promptly getting frostbite upon the sunburn that you
just got.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
It's not great.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
I don't want to pack a coat, you know, It's
like that thing is just like, is a coat something
that you want to pack because you're kind of just
committing to it. You gotta wear it in the airport,
you gotta wear it in your on the plane. You
got to carry it around. I'm not gonna need it
when I'm in Florida. So while I'm in the uber
getting picked up from my house and taken to the
airport and back, I guess I'm just gonna have to
like suffer through whatever temperature it is outside.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Yeah, don't d don't do it. Don't do the coat.
You can do it. You get back. It's gonna be
a little cold, it's gonna be a little nippy. You
got somebody picking you up. You gotta go to your car.
You're parking it.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
No, I'm not parking it.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
Well, you got you got somebody picking you up, So
that's not too much outside time. As long as they're prompt,
you can just dash out hop in that car.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
I dude, I am a man that has decent means.
I will pay an extra two dollars for me just
to hide inside and then slowly find this guy when
I know he's out there.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Wait, it cost two dollars to do that.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
No, it's just you know, if he's there and he's
waiting on you, I mean that counts against your time.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
What times? I don't know about this.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Think about this all right, and I'll get to this
amas stuff. It's not going anywhere. I'll get to it
in a second. So let's say you want an uber.
You and your friends are like, you're trying to go downtown.
You know you're gonna have a good night. Ubering is
like a thing that you have to worry about, right,
it's just like, you know what, let me just uber

(02:11):
down there that way, don't worry about driving home. I
don't want to drive drunk or anything like that. It's responsible. Well,
let's say you order the uber says, the app says
it'll pick you up in five minutes. Okay, the driver's
on his way there now. It could cost you money
if you cancel on this guy. Why he's en route
or go right, So in five minutes, he's going to

(02:34):
be there, whether you're ready for him or not. You
ordered the ubert, you better be ready for him. Well,
let's say something happens and maybe you need to change clothes,
or maybe your significant other is you know, still looking
in the mirror trying to make themselves look good. Whatever,
guy shows up on time based on what the app says,
but you have him waiting outside for you for five

(02:56):
more minutes while you're getting ready well, that's five more minutes,
and it's that he could have taken to go get
somebody else. Right, if you were on time, he'll you know,
you've cost him five minutes essentially.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Do that makes sense?

Speaker 3 (03:09):
It builds in that you made him wait, and so
it'll add a little bit extra onto your price, just
like get.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
Getting an uber. You don't have an enterprising young friend
or family member who can just swing by and pick
you up.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
At Like my flight leaves at like eight in the
morning on a Friday, and what time do you get
here at like nine in the morning on a Monday?

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Oh, on a Monday nine and the Yeah, that puts
me out of the running. I was gonna I was
gonna offer, I was gonna volunteer. But how many people, Yeah,
that's that's a very small pool of people.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Yeah, it's like you know, like on workdays too.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
Nine am and a Monday might be the amount of
people who are busy at that time in this world
a lot. That's a lot.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
So I'll find an uber who's not busy and that's
their job and they'll come pick me up and take
me to my house. Makes sense, And I'll pay them
twenty bucks and that'll be good. But that's what I'm saying,
right Like, I'd rather hide inside and make them wait
for me and pay a little extra because they waited
for me, then me stand outside in ten degree whether
like you say, it's going to be on Monday morning
while I try to wait for them to figure out,
you know where I'm at. You know, yeah, that's a

(04:12):
good strategy. So anyway, there's that. Now, this Amus Israel thing,
how big of a deal scale of one to ten.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
It feels like a very big deal because this was
such awful news that happened, you know, October seventh, horrifying stuff,
and it's just been on a NonStop onslaught of just
awful news about horrible things happening there. And for a
million and one reasons, this is wonderful and I'm happy,

(04:44):
and how could.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
You not be well if you're a peace lover, Yes, certainly,
I'll get to the political ramifications, because as anything that
is good or bad news in this country, credit end
or are going to be wielded around like weapons. And
that's exactly what immediately has happened in the United States

(05:06):
of America. But I had an interview, I had an
interview with somebody from London for my morning show this
morning before all this went down, and I was going
to play it today because it's really awesome information, but
it's completely untimely now that this has actually been agreed upon,
so I'm not going to waste our time playing it.
But his name is Jonathan Savage. He's a Fox News

(05:27):
radio reporter, and he was telling me the United States
has a huge hand in this, right, So like we
pretend in our heads that the United States is super important,
it's really not pretending. It's actually real. So what the
United States is up to, what they believe, what they say,
it matters to the people around the world as far
as the governments are concerned in these Uh. This is

(05:51):
why Zelensky is constantly like talking to the United States
people right for the Ukraine stuff.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
Now my go ahead.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
I just I was thinking about Zelensky for a second.
Did he know English before this happened.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
I'm sure he did. He was an actor.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
Okay, fair enough. I'm just sitting here thinking because you're right,
because I was. I was listening to a podcast interview
of him over the weekend, and I just have been
thinking about, like, man, if you need a if you
need verification that America is still the top dog in
this world. I mean, yeah, how much times he spent here, yeah,

(06:26):
to help to get help over there. I mean, and
he's doing the podcast circuit like that's crazy.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
Well, he knows that this is going to be an
interesting time for him because the Republicans that are taking office,
you know, they're quite skeptical of all the resources that
he has been given in what that actually even means.
And that's a completely different conversation, but it tells you
how important the United States is as a player in
all this stuff. Now, this is a ceasefire deal between

(06:52):
Israel Hanamas that will ensure the release of postages. Joe
Biden is the current President of the United States. He's
the president for five more days. Here's what he said.
He said the first phase this ceasefire lasts six weeks,
that's forty two days. It includes a full and complete
ceasefire withdrawal of Israeli forces from all populated areas of

(07:14):
Gaza and the release of a number of hostages held
by Hamas, which include the elderly and women and the wounded.
According to Biden, he says he's proud to say Americans
will also be a part of that hostage release in
Phase one as well. In exchange, Israel will be releasing
hundreds of Palestinian prisoners, and Palestinians can return to their

(07:35):
neighborhoods in all areas of Gaza, and a surge of
humanitarian assistance into Gaza will begin. Biden continued by saying,
during the next six weeks, Israel will be negotiating the
necessary arrangements to get to Phase two, and that is
a permanent end to the war. There are a number
of details to negotiate the move from Phase one to
Phase two, but the plan says if negotiations take longer

(07:57):
than six weeks, the ceasefire will continue as long as
the negotiations continue. Now, if you're wondering what his face
two look like, Biden said that it will include an
exchange of the release of remaining living hostages, including male soldiers,
and all remaining Israeli forces will be withdrawn from Gaza,
and the temporary ceasefire will become permanent. Then will become

(08:17):
Phase three. Any final remains of hostages who have been
killed will re return to their families, and then a
major reconstruction plan for Gaza will begin.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
Now.

Speaker 3 (08:26):
The biggest question about this is how did this get done?
And brother, did I not tell you last week when
Donald Trump sat there at mar A Lago and told
the entire world, among other things, all hell will break
loose if the hostages are not released before I take
office on January twentieth, Did I not sit here and

(08:48):
say that's going to mean something. Because he's going to
mean that. And my first thought is the people over
there are going to know he means business. What the
heck happened? Then less than a week later, on Monday,
we were reporting that there was a deal and the
significant progress has been made and they were negotiating it

(09:10):
with Katari officials. And two days after that, we're sitting
here and they are saying that it is signed by
both sides. Now, of course, the Democrats on social media
are dancing around saying, hey, this was all done by
Joe Biden. He negotiated this piece deal. What a champion.
And Donald Trump is going to be the leech that
jumps onto this and say it was all his doing. Well,

(09:30):
it's awfully funny you say that, because the only reason
this stuff started is because Joe Biden was in the
White House in the first place.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
Nobody wants to talk about that.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
Nobody wants to talk about how often these deals were
falling through because Joe Biden's week leadership on Israel and
him also withholding some of the weaponry to Israel. I'm
not saying Israel was perfect in the way that they
were handling things, but the United States was kind of
flip floppy in the way that they were handling the situation.
So with that being said, right, all it took was

(09:57):
apparently the president elect, a much stronger leader in Donald Trump,
to say all hell will break loose if the hostages
are not released before I take office. In what do
you know, less than a week later, deal is done.
Can't be a coincidence, Ladies and gentlemen. Don't let anybody
tell you otherwise. The politics of this are fascinating. Donald

(10:18):
Trump jumped on truth social He had a statement I'll
tell you what it said next on news radio eleven
ton kfab.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
Emery Sunger on news radio eleven ten kfab.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
In all caps, which I'm gonna have to read in
all caps. You know how this works.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
We have a deal for the hostages in the Middle East.
They will be released Charlie, thank out.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
It's in all caps. Got you gotta you know read
it how it's written. Right after the announcement was made,
which is shortly after eleven am, our time that this happens.
I'm gonna read what Donald Trump said. This was eleven
twenty four that he posted this on true social and
I quote. This epic ceasefire agreement could have only happened

(11:04):
as a result of our historic victory in November, as
its signaled to the entire world that my administration would
seek peace and negotiate deals to ensure the safety of
all Americans and our allies. I am thrilled American and
is Israeli hostages will be returning home to be reunited

(11:25):
with their families and loved ones. With this deal in place,
my National Security team, through the efforts of Special Envoy
to the Middle East, Steve Whitkoff, will continue to work
closely with Israel and our allies to make sure Gaza
never again becomes a terrorist safe haven. We will continue

(11:46):
promoting peace through strength throughout the region as we build
upon the momentum of this ceasefire to further expand the
historic Abraham Accords. This is only the beginning of great
things to come for America and indeed the world. We
have achieved so much without even being in the White House.

(12:08):
Just imagine all of the wonderful things that will happen
when I return to the White House and my administration
is fully confirmed, so they can secure more victories for
the United States.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
End quote.

Speaker 3 (12:21):
Well, Matt, what do you think do you think about that?
He got a point? There's been quite a bit of
things that have happened. I mean, this counts. I think
this is absolutely a victory for the Trump administration before
it even takes office, no matter what the Democrats try
to say.

Speaker 2 (12:36):
I think that regardless of what happens, you know, there's
gonna be a portion of either side that's always gonna
spind spin spin, you know.

Speaker 3 (12:42):
Oh, it's not even a portion, it's a majority, right, yeah,
fair enough, big big majority this one.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
Though, what I think of my analogy when at the
previous segment, the analogy that was running through my head
was when there's a big house party when the parents
leave town, when do you clean it up? Is it
before or after they get back?

Speaker 1 (13:01):
Mm?

Speaker 2 (13:03):
So, you know, I just think that, like the context
matters here. So if anyone's saying, like five days left,
it was under Biden's watch.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
It's happening.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
If you look, there are there's multiple accounts even on
X that are saying Joe Biden and his administration have
successfully negotiated a ceasefire between Israel and Amas.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
The most consequential president in American history, Joseph Robinette Biden. Yeah, no,
house party's getting cleaned up before the parents get back.
That's what's happened. This clown Chris D.

Speaker 3 (13:35):
Jackson, who says he is a radio and pod host
and a party chairman. He's followed by ninety eight thousand people.
I don't know too much about this guy, but I mean, immediately,
all I had to do is open X and he's breaking.
President Biden and his team have broker to ceasefire and
hostage release agreement between Israel and Jamas. Unlike Trump, who

(13:57):
left the Afghanistan withdrawal, to Biden, the president has take
decisive action to resolve this critical issue. Thank you, President
Biden and Secretary Blinking for your leadership.

Speaker 1 (14:06):
Can you believe this man?

Speaker 2 (14:08):
Get that guy needs to be a spin instructor. Get
him in front of a bunch of people taking a
spin class because he knows exactly how to spin that wheel.

Speaker 3 (14:18):
Unbelievable. Wow, oh boy. Uh, you can't make it up, dude,
you just can't make it up.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
It is so funny.

Speaker 3 (14:29):
I mean, just right in front of your face, right
in front of your face, and they just expect you
to buy it, to believe it at every turn.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
I think that people like that should have to tweet
from their peloton and they have to show that they're
on their peloton while while they're tweeting or whatever spin
class they're in, just to show that like, no, yeah,
that's just a whole lot of spin. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
That's insane, it's crazy, you know.

Speaker 3 (14:55):
And this is on the same day where there's a
you know, multiple tons of people who are in the
the uh Senate confirmation hearing process, right and you're trying
to you know, totally understand what the heck that looks like, right,
you know, and you have all of this other stuff
going on. I don't know, I don't know. I gotta

(15:15):
I gotta be honest with you, dude. I I've pretty
much had enough. Like, like if we're talking about if
we're talking about like the world in general, this is
the kind of unhealthy bs that I really have a
hard time with because I want us to understand.

Speaker 1 (15:31):
I don't know how oh I say this.

Speaker 3 (15:34):
Politics is politics, and we all have our team, right,
most of us have our team, A large majority have
our team. You're gonna cheer for your team. That's what
politics has become. It's not about being constructive for the
United States, it's not about being constructive and being honest
or truthful. It quite literally is everything that happens in
the world is either like, if it's good, give the
credit to the people that you cheer for, if it's bad,

(15:55):
to give like it's all blamed on the other guy.
And it quite literally, no matter what that post I
just mentioned to you on x, it's quite literally that
and that's just a microcosm of it. And it's just
it's an indictment on society, but it's an indictment on
how we view politics in this country. We're all clowns
for taking part in this. You're telling me that none

(16:16):
of us could say that a Democrat couldn't come up
with a good idea. Of course they could, and many
of them do. How many Republicans are going to actively
admit that the Democrats or a specific Democrat did a
really good job on something. Pat them on the back
for Hey, you know what, Joe Biden, you did good here.
Now you might be saying, and rightly so, that stuff's
few and far betrayed far between, But you have to

(16:37):
look really closely. Well, if you're just looking at like
conservative media, they're not going to tell you what good
stuff he's done that goes against the entire agenda, that
goes against what you want to hear from them.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
But if you're trying to be.

Speaker 3 (16:49):
Fair, there is plenty of stuff that Democrats are doing
that are good, that is good, just like the Republicans.
Yet the people on the left don't ever want to
say any Republican of any kind, especially Donald J. Trump,
had a hand in anything that was positive for the world,
no matter what it is. Like I said, this may
could come in oversee a scientific experiment that could end

(17:10):
up curing cancer, and the left would still villainize him
somehow for it. It's insane what we do to go
to the links that we go to in this country,
and it's all of us to where it's your team
versus my team, and no matter what actually is the
facts or what is good or what isn't good. We
will not admit that the other side actually did anything

(17:31):
positive or constructive. I dare you to try to challenge
me on that. It's ridiculous anyway. With that being said,
this had absolutely nothing to do with the Democrats in
charge right now and everything to do with the Republicans
that are about to take charge in five days. And
if you want to challenge that, why didn't this happen
until after Donald Trump said all hell will break loose

(17:51):
if the hostages are not released before I get into office.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
In those negotiations, how many times do you think the
Abiden administration was like, I can't tell you what's going
to happen in a week from now, but I can
tell you what I can say right now, right like
using that absolutely you want to talk about leverage in
their hand in that moment.

Speaker 3 (18:08):
Oh gosh, yeah, there's no doubt it had a massive,
massive effect on those negotiations. All right, two twenty nine,
got more coming up, We'll open the phones four, two, five, five, eight,
eleven ten on news radio eleven ten kfab
