(00:00):
It is Boston's only classic warning shows. When you say, why do you
say that on the air, saythat one thing about pregnancy, about about
pregnancy. Oh yeah, we're youdoing podcast right now. I know it's
hard to think about what the fuckinggrinders out there. Well, you know
what, I just want to statefor the record that pried us starting this.
(00:22):
Yeah, it was just like awas a was a kind of soft,
wasn't really going hard. And thenthe minute we decided to do the
podcast, they decided to drill likemad out there. There's supposed to be
soundproof doors and walls. Oh,there's a guy out there with a pancake
mixic and he's covering the seams. Now they're now they're probably smoothing them out.
(00:44):
Well, they're grinding because nobody doesn't. Nobody's going to do it by
hand. Their hangomers, grinders,chinding. They're you're building, you're building
stuff. Don't want to got wallsand flown us to be boompy. You've
got the graind gen. God,Wednesday is upon us. I'd like to
(01:07):
say that my wife has fucking masteredhard boiled eggs. There I put it
out there. I said it.Well, I just scoffed a couple down.
They just got it perfect consistency. Are they jammy? No, they're
just past jammy. But before that, like I'm jammy, before they get
bitter and hard. Yeah, likeyou know a lot of salad. I
like my hard boiled egg jammy. So my parents watched me for years because
(01:32):
we eat a lot of hard boiledeggs. Like I always keep a dozen
of them in the fridge so whenthe boys get hungry they can just grab
one. John hates eggs, sobut William and I will eat them pretty
regularly. My parents are like, why don't you do what we've always done?
And sounds like whatever they bought me. This is years ago. A
hard boil egg maker. It cooksseven at a time, and you just
put them in there and you addthe amount of water that it calls for.
(01:53):
You put the top on, youpress the button, and you get
seven perfectly cooked hard boiled eggs, like eight dollars for the thing. Can
you set it differently so it's there'sa soft boiled one too, There is.
So what it is is the amountof water you put in. So
you put in less water in themeasurement that'll make soft boiled eggs because it
turns off. It beeps the minutethe water's dissolved and gone evaporated. So
(02:14):
okay, as I got you arice cooker and and that changed my world.
Change your world. Only use thatfrom now on you can sell you
can change my world. Get youan egg Christmas time with a hard boiled
egg maker, please, I willdo that. Yeah, that's what I
want for Christmas? All right?Uh yeah, I've been uh you know,
typically the three of us for themost part, don't really eat breakfast
(02:35):
during the show, before, duringor after. I think we all kind
of wait till we get home, but we all kind of bring the way
respective snacks. Oh yeah, theevery day egger aside from pop tarts.
Yeah, I'm done with I.I when the last box was emptied,
and I'm like, that's it.I can't be eating this ship and ne
eat something somewhat healthy. So Ibring in a banana or my little mandarins
(02:55):
or when the wives sees fit tomake these boil hard boiled eggs. Man,
I'm telling you, it's a littleprotein boost. And how did she
perfect it. I don't know. She's got this timing down. She puts
it into the the ice bath afterwards. It's all timed out. Everything's fucking
timed out. And she just gotit down, got it down. And
so what I do is I've beenthrowing a little Everything Bagel seasoning on top
(03:19):
of these bad boys and a littleyou know, tupperware, and then I
bring them in here. I knowthis is riveting conversation. Well, it's
the incredible edible egg Kenny. ButI would like to point out that the
Trader Joe's Everything Bagel seasoning far andexceeds any other I've tried so far.
Oh yeah, it's the only onewe used. Yesterday, I had some
grocery store brand which I shall remainnameless, not nearly as good as the
(03:40):
Trader Joe's. Those treeople know whatthe fuck they're doing out there. Everything
bagel. I already bought it pizza, so I just got to put it
somewhere. And remember, should wetake eggs? Can we take? She
already went on mine and bought it. I just went to Amazon and purchases.
Is this a gift, they askyou, Is this a gift?
(04:01):
You don't do it for forever? So no, you're waiting seven and a
half months. It might be abirthday gift comes first. I remember for
less, all right, it's onlyfive months away exactly. I was looking
on did you guys know how manysons Bill Murray has? Weren't you?
Were you talking about it on airabout him hugging his kid, who's an
assistant coach. I had no idea. Yeah, either, Well that kid's
(04:24):
thirty nine, so okay, SoBill's Murray's son is an assistant coach for
Luke. He's thirty nine years old. The second year, I think as
the assistant coach, which is thisis the second year in a world they've
won. And they hugged, andit was like blah blahlah blah, and
then you get I was reading furtherdown in the story and it says he's
the father of six boys from differentwomen, different women, not six different
(04:47):
ones. Has he ever been Idon't know, Oh my god, has
he ever been married to anyone?I think he has a find out in
two sets out of six His twooldest are Homer forty two and Luke thirty
nine. He's been married. Sorryry, no, no, no, you
go ahead. I cut your firstwife, Margaret Kelly, whom he was
married to in the eighties and midnineties. He shared sons Caleb thirty one,
(05:08):
Jackson twenty eight, Cooper twenty seven, and Lincoln nineteen with his second
wife, Jen Butler, but theysplit No. Eight twice. Yeah,
so his youngest is nineteen. Sothey're all out of high school at this
point. I have two quick storiesabout Bill Murray. My parents met him
in New York. You know,my parents, my mom worked for like
an interior designer. In this interiordesigner, he had an apartment in New
(05:31):
York, and so my mother wouldn'ttake pay for the work she did,
so he would give her stuff fromthe shop. Whatever, you know,
Okay, do you like this? Here? Take it. And the other
thing he would do is anytime youwant to use my apartment in New York,
use it. She used it once. Oh, her and my dad
went to New York, I know, right all over that absolutely. So
(05:55):
they ran into Bill Murray at abar and he would this is like in
the early eighties, late this islike right after Caddy Shack. Yeah,
peek. He was a mess. They said he looked like a homeless person.
But he was conducting court in thisbar. You know, he was
hammered and he was unshaven. Youknow, my parents didn't see Caddy Shack.
(06:18):
I think my mom did watch thatday night. They knew who he
was from that, you know, from SNL. And then the other story
is Bill Murray hosted a golf tournamentin Rochester, New York with a golfer
by the name of Jeff Sluwman. And Jeff Sluwman is from Rochester, New
York, so their buddies. Okay, so he brought in Bill Murray.
(06:41):
Bill Murray, this is like inthe nineties. This is when he worked
on the Zone. He was thenicest fucking guy. Like he was so
accommodated, like Alice Cooper. Nice. When playing golf with him, Oh
he was, oh chack awesome, just a gem to beer. I mean,
I was didn't know what to expect. He's Bill Murray. He could
be a complete asshole. He mightbe though on any given day. I
(07:03):
might just be that kind of guy. He does love golf. He does
love golf, so maybe that inbaseball and basketball sports he does. My
mother had a similar run in andit was I want to say a year
or two after Ghostbusters, So we'retalking like peak Bill Murray, Like my
mom knew who the hell he was, you know what I mean, And
(07:24):
she ran into him at Logan.I forget where she was going. I
think my dad had his head ina book or wasn't even paying attention.
But my mom is the social butterflyin the family. She's you know,
she'd talk to anyone, right,Yeah, she tells cash She used to
tell cashiers at grocery stores why shewas buying the items on the on the
turnstone had so yeah, damn it. She spots Bill Murray in an airport.
(07:46):
She's walking over to him. Ohyeah, yeah, oh yeah.
She got a picture with him,and she had a very similar experience.
She said he was kind, hewas courteous with his time, he was
joking around with her, and youknow, and so she said, you
know, my son's love your movies, Bill, they love your movies.
They watch them all the time. And so his response was, oh,
(08:09):
your son's like my movies, butyou don't, you know. It was
that type of thing, and soshe went back and forth with them.
He gave her a big hug,and all she could talk about for weeks
after that, years after that waswhat a nice guy Bill Murray was.
Sounds like a gem of a dude. Then you know, by the way,
we share September birthday with him, well birth month with birth month.
Yeah, he's the twenty first I'mthe twenty third year, the twenty six
(08:31):
Yeah. Yeah, you see howI did that. He's going to be
seventy four day September. Damn seventyfour. You know you mentioned the six
kids, Heather. It reminded meof I just I read this this morning
and then I watched a video onit. There's a study out and I'm
sure it's probably been done before, but the end part of the study was
(08:54):
kind of discovered. So women ageduring pregnancy, like in those nine months.
This this study says that they cellularlyage two and a half years nine
Wow, during the gestation period, growing a growing a human in the proper
(09:15):
context, you are growing a person. Yeah, they said. They said
something like, you're putting your bodythrough I don't know if it was like
a marathon a day, but everythingyou're doing is incredibly it's just and you
feel it. Oh god, ohyou know I felt it too. I
mean I was puke and every daytill the very last day, I couldn't
hand. It was just painful. Are you ever jealous of not being a
(09:39):
man because we have like nothing wehave, you know, I mean we
we we live longer, you know, we actually we live shorter. We
live shorter. You like being youbecause I think like you sometimes because you
really still just me. You're pregnant, you have to go through menstruation once
a month, you have menopause orbelieve me, I know all about menipau.
Believe me, you only know thatyour wife went through it and you
felt it for but you didn't feelwhat it was really like to go through
(10:01):
it. Uh. She a personin it. She is. I'm still
a person in it. It isongoing and it's been years, but you're
still not in Oh yeah, you'restill not in her rule. You're still
not in her head. When it'shappening to be in the head of a
person who's going through it. It'sawful. Oh, it's terrible. It's
like the shine has been completely wipedoff of you. Yeah, you become
(10:22):
completely unshiny. Oh it's awful. That's to me, like a Matt Finish.
Yeah, your anxiety level shoots upand the shine gets worn off.
Yeah, it's just so sad.I've become more loving to her over the
last two or three years. Ireally have. I told my whole family.
I mean it was it's been nuts. Yeah oh yeah. And this
(10:43):
all started with her having it.She couldn't even drive, she was going
through this hormonal She couldn't even drive. She had to pull over at a
CVS in tears and have an ubertake her home, and then we had
to go get her car. Yep. It's awful, I know. And
again I love the fact that youknow you're in it. But still she
was the one that pulled over cryingand needed an uber home. So I
mean, you you're you're suffering becauseyou know she's going through all of this.
(11:09):
But it's still not the same asbeing the person going through That's what
I'm saying. Men have it mucheasier. Oh I still like being a
woman, yeah, I mean mepersonally. Oh. The fun part about
the end of the story is aftersome time goes by, after you deliver
the baby, you do gain threemonths yeah, well as two and a
(11:31):
half years, and then you gainthree and a half three months back.
Took nine months for the muscles inmy stomach to reassociate themselves with each other
because the muscles right down the middle. That's why a woman gets that line
down the center. The muscles inthe middle of your stomach separate so that
things can get bigger and things willgrow. That's me as the other favorite,
Oh go ahead, love you know. This month marks my twenty seventh
(11:52):

started as an intern, and inthat twenty seven years, I feel like
mentally and physically my body is agedsixty. That was Boston's only classic rock
