Is Boston's only classic warning shows.Right, it's all move into position gathering.
Gathering is the favorite portion of theday the Happy Ending Podcast. Yes,
because it signals the end of theday for singles, the end of
the work day. Sort of,Hey, what is the difference or is

(00:21):
you know? When they have authorsthat write essays, is that a book
liken a is an essay a book? You can have a book of essays,
a book of essays. Okay,I think I don't remember specifically,
but I think the difference between andlike a novel and a short story.
A short story has to be onecontinuous moment to make it a short story,

(00:43):
and a novel can be can jumpall over the place. I mean,
it could be different, right,It could be all different parts.
You can have a book of essaysof essays, right, and they don't
have to be related, no,but you I mean it could be.
The relation could be the author couldbe one author with different sorts of essays
that they're writing about. Or itcould be all different authors but they're all

(01:04):
women. Or it could be alldifferent authors. But it's all about you
know, trees. Okay, couldbe anything. All right, So here
here's here's Why I bring this upbecause Apple TV has come out with a
series called Franklin Benjamin Franklin, right, and Michael Douglas is playing. Believe
it or not, he's working, which I think is great. Well,

(01:26):
if he's going to live as longas his father, he still has about
forty years of life. He's beenso sick though, right over the years.
Yeah, he's had some health issues. But anyway, so I guess
one of the essays Benjamin Franklin wrotewas fart proudly. Fart proudly. From
what I know or read about him, Yeah, that makes sense, right,

(01:47):
So he's a busy dude, youknow, get it out of your
system so you're healthy. Yes,yeah, so in like, are my
compliments to the chef thing? Yes, that's right, Kenny. So in
the very first episode of this AppleTV series, it's addressed the fart proudly
and Benjamin Franklin fart's and so thecritics were all over it, not having
done their research. Apparently that aboutpart proudly, so they kind of incorporated

(02:14):
it into the series. Fun.That's fun, right, So the critics
beat it up a little bit,So Michael Douglas ends up sending the essay
to the critics. It is animportant sort of side step within the life
of Franklin. His farting. Well, it was I that was my addition
to the script. Wow, itwas actually because I read this book.

(02:37):
I mean, we did get acouple of criticisms of this show about they
try to show him farting, andI said, well, so I'm selling
him this. I'm sending people, these critics who brought this up, to
send them this book on Franklin. This is fart proudly, Okay. So
I learned about this and he wasvery proud. He wrote a whole book
about it. So I decided theopening episode, I think that's about the

(02:59):
old time I'm in the whole show. But Sophie got us off to it.
So far, so far, althoughI like the fact that you're sending
critics books about farting something about that. It's very funny. That'st I love
it. You know, jump tothe defense of your project, and he
did. That's great. I wonderif this whole fart Proudly essay came about
because I just googled the Franklin seriesand so Michael Dougs plays Ben Franklin during

(03:24):
his eight year tenure in Paris. So I wonder if maybe there was some
French influence. Maybe they were knownfor passing gas proudly, and maybe that's
where Franklin came up with it.I don't know, unless he developed this
theory on his own, right, right, Yeah, already just had a
kid who went to college, tookone of those classes like we all do,

(03:45):
learned something fun and new that younever knew before, and came back
and talked to your dad about it, and he's like, Oh, should
turn that into a movie. Right, Maybe all those weird classes in college
that are super fun but they havelike you know, so you'll take a
class on essays by Benjamin Franklin andsee things you didn't see before and never
would have without taking the Classout takingthe class, yeah, I learned all

(04:08):
about all sorts of things, LikeI know way more about Baltimore than I
should ever know. I didn't wantto watch this series because I think I'm
going to find out a lot ofshit about Franklin. I didn't know.
Right, I would have, butI don't have Apple Tandy, and I'm
not ready to invest yet. Onthe subject of film and entertainment, Heather
was it you that suggested the Witcherseries to me? John? And I

(04:29):
watched that yet, But they changedHenry Cavell won't be the lead anymore.
It's going to be one of it'sgoing to be the ex husband of Miley
Cyrus. So we don't even knowif we're going to keep watching. We
watched the first three seasons. Isthat a helmsworth? Yeah, but it's
not for the one from the HungerGames. Well, Henry Cavill. Cavell,

(04:51):
his likeness and voice and image hasbeen used in AI. Somebody made
a fake James Bond trailer using HenryCavell AI. Yeah as no, no,
no, no, a deep voicein the James Bond. He does

(05:12):
have a deep voice. He washe welsher English. He's one of the
two Superman PTE. Henry Cavill isSuperman. Oh okay, so yeah.
This fake AI trailer Bond twenty sixis what it was dubbed on the internet.
Red he might be too old nowthough they mixed in Henry Cavell and
Margot Robbie as the Bond girl andthis listen to this. This fake AI
trailer racked up of two and ahalf million views within five days. So

(05:38):
there's just scary because I mean there'sa desire for it, or where people
passing along we'll give this AI.Well, I've seen a bunch of AI
trailers where I thought it was real, Like the one that they really love
doing is the Harry Potter one wherethere's going to be a follow up to
the movies, and the trailer isspot on. It's so good it's not
real. It's not real. Andthat's what happened with this. I think

(05:59):
plenty of people go duped and sharedit on social thinking, Hey, check
out the new James Bond trailer. Here's who it's going to be. I
mean really like to your point,I think he would be a great James
Bond. You know, he'd bebelievable in that role. Oh yeah,
for sure. Yeah, I'm justlooking him up now now I remember him.
Yeah. The other project that isreal and confirmed is that Martin Scorsese

(06:20):
wants to have Leo DiCaprio. Infact, he's been cast Leo DiCaprio as
Frank Sinatra. He wants to doa bio pic on Old Blue Ice.
Yeah, maybe in his forties, because if you look at these old photos
of Frank and the Fedora and Leoand the Fedora. Yeah, it's pretty
good casting. Got to keep forgettingto send you guys this fucking thing.

(06:43):
My niece took a picture of myfather in law and put it side by
side with Leonardo DiCaprio, and shesays, and you know, I can't
find it now, but she says, look at Pops, that's what we
call him. He looks like anold Leonardo DiCaprio. Oh like, I

(07:04):
got to get the two side bysides for you because it is funny.
We got to check that out.Yeah, yeah, I like that.
I mean I would watch I likethat too. Variety is also reporting that
Jennifer Lawrence was cast opposite Leo asAvera Gardner, the love of Frank's life.
So I think that would be nice. Again, she just has to

(07:24):
go back to being a brunette, but the side by side, I think
that could work. I'd be reallycool to see Leo and Jennifer Lawrence together.
My only problem with this is Ibet it's going to be at least
three hours, because that's what Scorsesedoes now. Yeah, I mean the
wife and I still haven't watched thatKillers of the Flower Moon movie because we
had to plan our day around it. I mean it's that's over three hours

(07:45):
from what I understand. Yeah, well the Killers of the Flower Moon.
That does a good movie, butit was way too long. And that's
you know, another DiCaprio. Ifelt the way that way about The Irishman.
Yeah, last Scars. DiCaprio's role. He was so believable in that.
I mean because he had to completelybe a Southerner, you know,

(08:07):
or you know, somebody of lessereducation, and he pulled it off.
I mean it was like consistent throughthe movie. I always thought he was
a great, great actor. Anyway, Leo, and lastly, I don't
know which one of you had suggestedway back, but we finally got around
to starting that the Tourist series onNetflix. I think we both did.

(08:31):
Jamie Dorman is that I say that? Are you still through just one episode?
Heather? Yeah, I can't getJohn Yeah, you can't get him
on the same page, too, busy hiking around the neighborhood with forty pounds
of late sums back. Yeah,he's got to call him down. He
can't sit still. So yeah,we started that first one man and I
would just based on the first onealone, the awesome cliffhanger at the end

(08:52):
of the first episode. So I'mlike, I think we're in. I
think we're gonna You're gonna love iteither. I finished it. Two seasons,
there is two, yeah, andI think it's what only six episodes
of season. They're short, Yeah, seasons are short. Yeah. I
think we're gonna try to rip througha couple of them tonight. But just
want to say thanks for the recommendation, and Hey, if you're listening to
this and there's something you'd like torecommend to us. You know, I

(09:15):

Prime is the JFK conspiracy. Ohthat's right, I got to write that
down. Yeah, make sure youremember to see. I mean, it's
just a different it's another twist onhow many theories there's been. Okay,
you know, but it's one I'venever seen before. It's pretty deep,
it runs pretty deep. I thinkyou'll like it. It's running deep.
