Speaker 1 (00:00):
That is now the question many in Boston, including myself
and Mike, are asking, is it over for the Boston
Celtics Game two in Boston, everybody, myself and Mike included,
we're expecting the Celtics to come back and come back strong. Instead, unbelievably,

(00:23):
they blew another twenty point lead two games in a
row at home, twenty point leads in both games, and
the New York Knicks managed to come back in both
and steal both games. The Celtics are now down to zero.
The series is heading back to New York and Game three.

(00:45):
I think it's safe to say is do or die
for the Celtics now. Look, I want to give the
Knicks their due. They're hungry, they're young, they're fast, especially
in Game one. They shot the lights out Game two
and not so much. They barely mustered ninety one points.

(01:07):
But they're not afraid of the Celtics and they're taking
advantage of a lot of mistakes the Celtics are making.
And what has really disappointed me in both games, especially
Game two, the Celtics have crumbled down the stretch, which
now begs the question have the Celtics lost their hunger?

(01:30):
Having won a championship last year and by most accounts,
expected to at least make the finals, if not repeat.
Have they gotten fat, lazy, over confident, and too arrogant.
I was not impressed with the first two games. Now
it is a must win for them in game three.

(01:53):
The New York media, as usual, is going wild. They
are now predicting an Apple Solute sweep, a straight sweep
for zero. I don't think that's gonna happen. I hope
it doesn't happen. But if the Celtics go down in
New York Madison Square Garden on Game three and it's

(02:15):
three zero New York, I think the Celtics are cooked.
And yes, they may even go down in a sweep.
And with the Pacers now also taking it to Cleveland,
who would have thought that we would see not the
Celtics and the Cavaliers, but the Knicks and the Pacers.

(02:38):
Stranger things have happened. My money is still on Boston.
Talent is talent. Championship quality veteran players are championship quality
veteran players, and Jason Tatum, in my view, is the
best player in the league. He can put this team
on his shoulders and with the weapons he has around them.

(03:01):
They should win Game three, win Game four, and regain
control of the series. But make no mistake about it,
if the Celtics go down in Game three, this series
and the Celtics' season is over.
