Boston Rally to Reunite the Riveras was a Smash Hit

It was an absolute smashing success, and I want to
thank everyone who attended the rally yesterday at the steps
of the State House, right in front of the Boston
Commons to reunite the Rivera family, and in particular to
make sure that Izzy and Ruth, the two parents, are

(00:20):
able not just to meet bail and to get out
of prison, but to be able to see their children,
and God willing have DCF drop all charges against them
and reunite this loving couple with their five children. What
we are watching now is one of the biggest scandals

(00:42):
in the history of DCF, and we are blowing the
whistle on it. Izzy and Ruth are loving, homeschooling parents
of five kids, ages ten, nine, five, four, and nine
month old a little baby boy, and when they went
to see their pediatrician, both parents agreed it was not

in the best interests of their child, of their nine
month old baby boy, to be given the school mandated vaccinations,
the dozens and dozens of shots. They said for their child.
We don't want it, we don't need it. Long story short,
This scumbag doctor, this pediatrician, called DCF and said that

the parents were abusing their child simply because they refused
to give them or to give their child the vaccinations.
Izzy and Ruth have been arrested. They have been sitting
in jail for over thirty days without being able to
even see all of their kids, and four of their

(01:56):
children were taken away from them, given to the grandmother
temporary and the little baby boy, the one at the
center of all of this, who the doctor himself admits
in his notes is healthy, well fed, well cared for,
is now with the sister of Ruth. But DCF wants

(02:17):
to permanently take away all five children and place them
in the foster care system. Outrageous, tyrannical, corrupt to the core,
and to add insult to injury. They're now also going
to ask for a judge. They've been charged with familial kidnapping,

(02:38):
i e. Two parents who love their children are now
being charged with kidnapping their own kids because they would
not comply with DCF. And so for each child they
are facing a year in prison, five years in prison
each And what was their crime, what was their great sin?

(03:03):
What did they do that was so wrong, so outrageous,
so flagrant? Five years in prison because they refused to
jab their nine month old baby they refused to give
him the vaccinations that Massachusetts wants to require all schools

(03:25):
to mandate, even though they're all They homeschool all five kids,
even though they're not going to send their child to
a public or a private school. They're at home, homeschooled
by the mom and the dad. What happened to my body?
My choice? This is an assault on parental consent, on

(03:48):
parental authority, on the autonomy, independence, and dignity of the family.
This is clear abuse of power and state sanctioned kidnap.
You do not arrest and take away the children from good, decent,
loving parents simply because they won't give them the schedule

(04:11):
of vaccinations that DCF and the Massachusetts government outrageously requires
on other kids. The children do not belong to the state.
They do not belong to the government. They belong to
the parents. This case has gotten national attention and it's

(04:35):
not going anywhere. Izzy Rivera is now out on bail.
