Speaker 1 (00:00):
It is a dark, sad day today in the United States.
Charlie Kirk, only thirty one years old, was politically murdered
and assassinated by what now appears to be a far
left wing activist at Utah Valley Campus in or In,

(00:20):
Utah yesterday afternoon. Charlie Kirk was doing what he always did.
He went to a college campus to debate students, to
have an up, open and honest exchange of ideas. And
for him wanting to have open civil discourse, he paid

(00:41):
the ultimate price. He leaves behind his wife, Erica, two
young beloved children. This is a tragedy on every level.
And the United States has lost a conservative icon, one
of the leading voices of his generation, and someone who
had the rare ability, the rare talent to touch millions

(01:05):
and millions of young people at high schools and college
campuses all over the United States. And the reason why
he was killed, and let us be very honest about this,
was because Charlie Kirk believed in freedom, political freedom, economic freedom,
individual freedom. He believed in free speech. He believed in open,

(01:30):
free flow of ideas, open honest, vigorous debate all different
points of view. And this is now verbbutten it is
forbidden on college campuses, which have now become in many
ways Marxist totalitarian institutions that champion culture are cancel culture

(01:53):
and open censorship of any views that oppose their dogma
and their indoctrination. And so Charlie Kirk challenged the left's
cultural and educational power, and it was this that made
him persona non grata and a major target of the
left for years. And a shooter yesterday afternoon, as Charlie

(02:20):
Kirk was just beginning to have a debate with a
student who was asking him a question ironically about trans
mass shooters, two hundred feet away from a campus building,
clean shot, one shot right to the neck. Charlie Kirk
was rushed to a trauma center, but he wasn't able

(02:41):
to make it. My friends, this is a watershed in
American history. There is no question now the glee that
many Democrats expressed, many liberals, many in the media openly
celebrating and even glorifying Charlie Kirk's death, have now awokened

(03:03):
all of us to the true nature of the left
and the Democratic Party. They don't believe in free speech,
they hate free speech, they don't want to have open,
free discourse and debate. They want to shut down debate
and discourse. They are now so full of hatred and
intolerance that they want prominent conservative voices dead. The Democratic

(03:29):
Party is now the party of murder. The left is
now the party of murder. And as I sat on
the air this morning, and I want to repeat it,
I blame the Democrats and the media for the assassination
and murder of Charlie Kirk. It is them, year after year,

(03:52):
day after day, month after month that call us Trump supporters, conservatives, Nazis, fascists, Hitler, authoritarians,
white supremacists, a quote existential threat to democracy unquote. They

(04:13):
have created a culture of hate and sheer intolerance that
inevitably leads to violence and to what happened yesterday, murder.
The Democrats and the Left should be ashamed of themselves,
but instead many of them are happy. They are practically

(04:35):
dancing on Charlie Kirk's grave. And that is why I
am now calling to honor Charlie's memory by carrying on
his legacy, to continue the fight for freedom, for the constitution,
for the rule of law, for the Republican government that
are founding fathers bequeathed to us. We must now unite

(04:58):
all conservatives, all MAGA supporters, every single nonliberal, and defeat
this radical, evil party, this communist party that is now
the Democratic Party, my friends. Political murder, political violence, political

(05:19):
terrorism has no place in any civilized society, and especially
in a republican form of government like ours. If we
cannot have open, honest, civil debate, but instead the left
will rely on murder, terror and intimidation, then this will

(05:42):
destroy our republic, destroy our constitutional government, destroy the very
American system itself. And that is why the left now
must be thoroughly defeated and trounced and discredited. And so
from this point forward, I'm asking every conservative, every patriot,

(06:02):
every Trump supporter, everyone who still believes in our cherished,
God given freedoms and liberties, let us unite and oppose
and discredit and call out the madness, the insanity, the

(06:25):
visceral hatred and poison that is now at the heart
of the Democratic Party and at the heart of modern
liberalism itself. Because if we don't, Charlie Kirk will be
the first, but not the only martyr. They will come
after other conservatives, other conservative voices. They try to assassinate Trump,

(06:47):
not once, but twice. We've seen what Antifa and Black
Lives Matter have done and what they're capable of murdering
police officers, murdering innocent civilians, rioting, looting. If we do
not want to fall into the abyss of a potential

(07:07):
civil war and of rising mass political violence, then everybody
of decency and of a conscience and of basic civilized humanity,
we must all ban together and say with one voice,
we will remember Charlie Kirk, and we will carry on

(07:30):
the banner that he carried. This is America, and you
don't kill people because you disagree with them. And the
left now needs to be shamed, it needs to be delegitimized,
and yes, they must be swept into the dustbin of history.
Charlie Kirk rest in peace.
