We may have a deal finally. So we had a
twenty eight point plan that was last week, which then
became a twenty six point plan, and now apparently the
Ukrainian delegation meeting with Marco Rubio, Secretary of State Steve Witkoff,
Trump's key negotiator on Ukraine, have hammered out a nineteen

(00:24):
point piece deal that the Ukrainians say they can live with.
The question now is will Putin finally agree as well.
At the heart of the plan is that Ukraine would
be willing to make territorial concessions in what's called the
don Bass Region, basically the part of eastern Ukraine occupied

(00:46):
by Madarasha by Putin and his forces. It also would
preclude Ukraine from joining NATO, so Putin could point to
two concrete objectives. However, what the plan does not do,
and what the Russians want, is give up other territory

in the Donbas region that the Ukrainians still hold. Some
of these are heavily fortified cities, and that the Russians
have not been able to take at least so far
on the battlefield. Putin wants the Ukrainians to hand over
that territory Zelensky has said yet furthermore, this plan will

have Western European and American peacekeepers in Ukraine with some
kind of a security guarantee for the Russians and for Putin.
That is a huge nyet. So again, can we square
the circle now? Look, I'm like Trump, I hate to

(01:53):
see the carnage, the killings, the casualties, what this war
has done to you in particular, but also so many
Russian soldiers being sent home in body bags. It is
a bloodbath, the worst war in Europe by far since
the end of World War II. But in the end,

whether the Russians or the Ukrainians want to make peace
is up to them. There's nothing much Trump or Rubio
or the United States can do. If both sides want
to continue to fight. You can be the most honest
broker in the world. It still doesn't matter. And so
my advice to the President for the last time, say

you made your final effort. It's a take it or
leave it deal. If you want peace, it takes concessions,
compromises on both sides. But if the Russians and the
Ukrainians insist on butchering each other, it's time for Trump
to come home home. Forget trying to end this war

(03:03):
and focus on problems here, because believe me, we've got
more than enough problems to deal with. The Russia Ukraine
war was ultimately Biden's war. Trump is trying to clean
up Biden's mess. His intentions are noble, and I hope

(03:26):
he succeeds. But if this peace deal fails, then get
the hell out of the don Bass and let the
Russians and the Ukrainians fight it out, and whoever wins wins,
and whoever loses loses. It's time to finally put America first.
