Speaker 1 (00:00):
I'm actually very excited. Seriously, I'm not joking. I have
never well I've driven through Kentucky but you know, without stopping,
but I've never actually visited the great state of Kentucky.
The cooner Man will be gone all weekend, and I
will be taking Monday off as well. Sandy has generously
agreed to fill in for me Monday, but I shall

(00:23):
be back, god willing on Tuesday. And the reason why
you may ask why I'm going, because my wonderful son, Ashton,
has a buddy of his who they have been gaming
with now for many years, playing video games. They've gotten
to know each other. They're very good friends, but they've
actually they've actually never met face to face. So they

(00:46):
play almost every night an hour or two. And they
know each other, you know, very well. They talk to
each other, they call each other, they text each other,
but they've never seen each other, you know, person to person. Well,
when I heard about that, I said, come on, Ashton,
you know this is a good friend of yours. To me,
it's heartbreaking that you guys have actually never physically met.

(01:09):
So Ashton and Dad, that's right, just the two of us,
the men in the house, We're going to head off
to Kentucky so Ashton can meet his best friend or
one of his best friends, and they're going to spend
the whole weekend together. I'll be supervising them. His parents,
the friend's parents, also will be there as well, and
I'm looking forward to it. I hear Kentucky's an absolutely

(01:32):
beautiful state, very green, lush, the horse farms. The horse
farms forgive me our world class. I hear they've got
outstanding barbecue. So I'm going to be spending all weekend
in Kentucky. I plan to visit some museums as well,
and just kick back and relax and enjoy meeting my

(01:56):
son's best friend and his family, and I will be
back on Tuesday. I love visiting different parts of the
United States. Love it, love it, love it. I've been
all over New England. I've been to the Carolinas, obviously, Maryland, Virginia.
I used to live there for a while when I
worked in Washington, d C. I've obviously been to Florida.

(02:17):
Family in Arizona, I've been there as well. I have
visited California, Washington State, Seattle beautiful, but I've never at Ohio.
That's where I did my PhD coursework, so I've been around.
I haven't seen all fifty states. I'd love to, but
I've never actually visited Kentucky. It's always been one of

(02:39):
the things I wanted to do. This weekend, I'm going
to do it. I'll report back on Tuesday. And remember
Sandy is filling in for me on Monday, and God
willing will have a safe trip and we'll have a
wonderful time. God bless can Ke
