Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's about time. President Trump, in an historic press conference yesterday,
announced that he is finally now going to crack down
on the out of control crime that is plaguing the
District of Columbia, our nation's capital. First, he is now
under the Home Rule Act, and he's allowed to do this.

(00:22):
He now is placing the Washington Metropolitan Police Department, all
three thousand, five hundred of its law enforcement officers under
the direct control of the federal government, in particular under
Attorney General Pambondi. And on top of that, he ordered

(00:43):
that eight hundred National Guard troops be surged into the
city to compliment and back up these police officers, as
they will now be unshackled and ordered to go after
the gangs, the gang bangers, the drug dealers, the violent

(01:04):
criminals who have been running wild and rampaging across the
streets of DC for not just the last couple months, frankly,
for the last couple of years. The media is in
complete meltdown mode, saying this is another giant step towards fascism,
a dictatorship under Trump authoritarian rule. While the poor, beleaguered

(01:29):
citizens the residents of DC love it, especially law abiding
citizens and victims for too long. Muriel Bowser, the moonbat
mayor of Washington, and the insane Democrat City Council, who
are to the left of Lenin, have caudled criminals. They

(01:52):
have enacted no cash bail. They have instituted rules that
shackle and tie the hands of the police. They now
literally if a sixteen year old teenager murder someone in
cold blood, they coddle them to the point that they
will be given a probation for murder, or they'll spend

(02:14):
a few months preparing for high school or doing arts
and craft before they're released back into the public. In
other words, they are very soft on crime. Their goal
is to protect criminals and not the citizens, and the
results have been horrifying. People shot dead on the streets

(02:38):
in turns murdered as they walk out of the Capitol
Building Big Balls. One of the ex doage staffers, Edward Korstein,
beaten to a pulp by a mob of rampaging youths.
This is now life in Washington, DC. On Saturday, there

(03:00):
was a turf war between two gang separate gangs in
which they used firearms Oozzi's semi automatic weapons gunfire all
across parts of DC when the police were involved and called.
They then shot up the police and police cars. President

(03:21):
Trump is now saying enough is enough. DC is not
just crime ridden. It is full of homeless encampments. It
is full of squalor filth, drug addicts. In other words,
it is a third world city with a murder rate
per capita, worse than Baghdad, worse than Bogata, Columbia, worse

(03:46):
than Mexico City, which is actually controlled by the Mexican
drug cartels. The citizens are begging for relief, and starting today,
they're going to see police office put on the streets.
They're gonna see gangbangers arrested. Criminals are gonna go to jail,

(04:06):
and yes, fourteen fifteen, sixteen, seventeen year old punks are
now going to get arrested, and they're gonna have the
book thrown at them when they commit a violent felony
or a violent crime. In other words, the gloves are
going to come off and mark my words. In three weeks,

(04:29):
crime will plummet, the homicide rate will drop like a stone,
the streets will be cleaned up, the homeless encampments will disappear,
and the streets of DC will be safe for old ladies,
for children and for law abiding citizens all across the
district of Columbia. And then the question will be, if

(04:54):
Trump can do this to Washington, why can't he do
it to New York, Chicago, Los Angeles or Boston. It
is now time to think about this as a model
for the country, law and order backed by federal troops.

(05:15):
If the mayors won't clean up their streets, maybe it's
time Trump does whatever happens. I stand behind him one
thousand percent. Federalize the DC police force, put in the
boots on the ground, the National Guard, and start going
after every single one of these gang bangers, thugs and

(05:40):
violent criminals, lock them up and then throw away the key.
It's time to put law abiding citizens and the victims
of crime first
