Speaker 1 (00:00):
Trump finally pulls the proverbial trigger after the explosive blow
up at the White House at the Oval Office on Friday,
in front of the cameras and the media of the world,
and Zelensky then going on about how peace between Ukraine
and Russia is, in his words, very very far away,
(00:23):
quote unquote. Trump has had enough. He now says that
he will no longer tolerate Zelenski's arrogance, his obstructionism, his
clear wilful desire to not make peace with Russia, agree
to a cease fire and end the bloodshed and horrific
(00:44):
slaughter that has destroyed much of Ukraine and has resulted
in twenty percent of Ukrainian territory now being occupied by
Russian forces. Trump wants to end this three year war
that has cost millions of lives casualties, millions more displaced refugees,
(01:06):
the worst blood letting, the worst war in Europe since
the end of the Second World War, and Zelenski now
has no one else to blame but himself. Trump's decision
to suspend to temporarily cut off all US military aid
to Ukraine, including all weapons shipments in transit, is simply
(01:32):
due to Zelenski's refusal to want to come to the
peace table and negotiate first to ceasefire and then a
permanent end to the fighting. Let's be clear, Zelenski is
living under the illusion, the delusion that Ukraine can beat
(01:53):
Russia in this war, retake all of its territory and
push all Russian forces out of Ukraine. He is living
in a fantasyland. Ukraine's army is breaking. It's now having
a conscription crisis where young men have to be kidnapped
on the streets of Ukraine and forced to join the
(02:16):
military against their will. The Ukrainian people are exhausted, the
Ukrainian army's morale is low, and Ukrainian casualties have been
through the roof. They can no longer go on and
win this war. Russia is exhausted as well. Seven hundred
(02:37):
thousand Russian troops have been slaughtered in this three year war.
The Russians are now running on empty. There is no
other way but a final peace deal that will give
Ukraine peace with honor, Russia probably a slice of eastern Ukraine,
(02:57):
and to the peoples of both Ukraine and Russia, an
end to the death, the destruction, the blood letting. President
Trump has a mandate to deliver peace. Trump wants peace,
Putin says he wants peace. The only person who doesn't
(03:19):
want peace is Zolenski. Well, now, with Trump having cut
off and suspended all military aid, let's see how tough
Zelenski is now. He talks a big game. But without
American aid, the Ukrainian military is on its own. There'll
(03:39):
be some European assistance, but it will not be enough
to give Ukraine the weaponry, the firepower it needs to
continue to withstand the Russian onslaught. Zelenski, if he knows
what's good for him and his country, should come back
to the negotiating table now and sign not just the
(04:01):
minerals deal, but a final peace deal. If not, he
should resign and let someone else who has the courage
to make peace. But if Zolensky holds out, from this
point forward, every Ukrainian death, every Ukrainian dead, every Ukrainian
(04:23):
soldier killed, will be on Zolensky's hands. And to President Trump,
do not send another penny, another bullet, or another boot
on the ground into Ukraine. If Zolensky wants to fight
Russia on his own, let the Ukrainians fight it out.
(04:45):
We should then wash our hands of it, and then
Zolensky will learn the hard way. It's better now to
make a deal with America backing you than having to
make a deal with Putin after three months or six
months or another year, when Ukraine will have to sue
for surrender, because Putin is a hell of a lot
(05:08):
harsher than Donald Trump. If Zolensky cares and ounces as
scentilla about the fighting men and women of his army,
if he cares at all about the future of his country,
sign the deal and make peace. Otherwise Ukraine will be lost.
