Speaker 1 (00:00):
By it. Donald Trump is not one hundred he is
a thousand percent correct. The United States should acquire Greenland. Technically,
it is a territory controlled by the European country of Denmark,
the Kingdom of Denmark. In reality, it is a colony

(00:21):
of Denmark. It is the largest island in the world.
It is a semi autonomous island that has been governed
by Denmark for decades. The Greenlanders resent the Danes. They
want nothing to do with Denmark. They are essentially a
territory or colony of Denmark, and they feel that Denmark

(00:43):
has mismanaged them, misruled them, and abused and neglected them.
And they are now itching to be an independent country.
And President Trump is right when he says Greenland, with
its population of only fifty six thousand people that's essentially
a small town in the United States, cannot stand on

(01:05):
its own two feet as an independent sovereign state. China
wants it, Russia covets it, and either Greenland will fall
under China or Russia, or under the United States. And
President Trump is now willing to buy Greenland. In fact,
Secretary of State Marco Rubio As told lawmakers in a

(01:28):
closed door session leave aside the bluster from people like
Steven Miller who are saying that the military option is
on the table. Trump and his administration have no intention
whatsoever of sending in the Marines or militarily invading or
forcibly annexing Greenland. Rather, it's the very opposite. It is

(01:51):
the Alaska model. Just like we purchased Alaska from Russia.
Trump wants to purchase Greenland from the Greenlanders. He wants
to offer them probably a million dollars per person, and
then sign a treaty with Greenland in exchange for them
becoming a territory of the United States. America will then

(02:14):
move in invest heavily modernize the island develop the rare
earth minerals underneath the ice. These earth minerals are impivotal,
in fact, very important to America's economy in the twenty
first century to counteract China's attempts to attain a near

(02:35):
global monopoly on rare earth deposits and rare earth minerals. Furthermore,
Greenland doesn't just have vital minerals that we need. It
also is It's strategically located near the Arctic in the
North Atlantic, crucial for submarine lanes, developing our air radar

(02:57):
and air defense systems to prevent any attacks from Russia,
and above all, to cement our dominance of the Arctic,
where deep oil and natural gas reserves have been found,
and the Russians and the Chinese are trying to control
the Arctic and by extension, the oil on the floor.

(03:19):
We need Greenland to balance and counteract Russia and China,
to preserve our economic and national security, and to project
our power all over the Arctic, Europe, the North Atlantic.
In other words, Greenland will be another Alaska, another Hawaii,

(03:42):
another Virgin Islands, or Puerto Rico, a territory that will
significantly augment and strengthen the economic might and the geopolitical
power of the United States. It's a no brainer for
several bills. The United States will acquire almost an uninhabited territory,

(04:06):
lightly populated fifty six thousand people, with the potential reserves
and minerals and value of trillions of dollars. Just like
Alaska was a massive coup for the United States. If
we acquire Greenland, it will guarantee America's dominance in the

(04:28):
Western Hemisphere, an America's strategic superiority for at least a
century to come. It is the crown jewel in President
Trump's Donroe, a doctrine in which he is now reasserting
American primacy over the Western hemisphere. Trump is right. America

(04:52):
needs Greenland. We need a strategic location. We need its minerals,
we need its wealth. We need the island, all of it.
And to the Russians and the Chinese and the Danes
and the Europeans. If you don't like it, tough luck.
Let the people of Greenland decide. They can either be

(05:15):
independent and on their own. They can be with Russia,
they can be with China, or they can be with
the United States. If the people of Greenland have any
common sense, any intelligence, any sense of their self interest whatsoever,
this is a no brainer. America needs to fulfill its

(05:39):
manifest destiny. We got Alaska in the Pacific, and now
it's time to get Greenland in the North Atlantic. Greenland
belongs to America, mister President, buy it, acquire it, and
let's take it over and make it a venture. The

(06:01):
fifty first State. Put the American flag on Greenland. It's ours.
We want it, we deserve it, and God willing will
have it
