Speaker 1 (00:00):
Boston's Bulldozer never sleeps The Kooner Report weekend edition on
the Voice of Boston w RKO.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Joining me now as she always does at this time,
Doctor Grace putting liberals in their place, Grace Voto. Yes,
I definitely married up. And she reminds me of this
almost every day, My wonderful wife, Grace Woto. Grace, how
are you?

Speaker 3 (00:28):
I am very well, King Coooner. I don't think you
quite express what our marriage is really like on the air.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Oh you're saying I have it better than the way
it comes across.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
You know that's the case. You know that's the case.
That's why you tease me so much.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Grace. I've got to ask you you obviously, and you're
a great cook. And I thought last night, by the
way dinner was, it was delicious, outstanding. But let that go.
As I like to say, people are gonna go hungry
this Saturday. Food stamps, the food stamps are going to
stop flowing. Many beneficiaries now millions and millions of them

(01:10):
potentially could go hungry. Many of them have openly said
on TikTok on Instagram. Has been widely reported that they
are just going to hit grocery stores, including here in Massachusetts,
and just start looting the stores. That they're not gonna
go hungry. They're not going to let their children go hungry.
They're gonna come in with carts baskets and just start

(01:31):
throwing food into those carts and take them right to
the car. And if anybody gets in their way, they said,
we're gonna punch them in the face, or there's going
to be a brawl, or but I am not going hungry.
And others are even saying they're gonna grab grocery bags
out of shoppers's arms in the parking lot, that they'll
do what they have to do to feed their family.

(01:52):
Are you worried? What's your reaction? Are we facing a
food hunger crisis in three days?

Speaker 3 (02:01):
Jeff, I sincerely believe that we are not facing such
a crisis. I think this is being manufactured and egged
on by the Democrats. This is part of their create
chaos strategy to undermine President Trump. What they really want
is day in day out that the television screens are

(02:22):
full of negative imagery and they want this to be
seared into the minds of the American people to give
the illusion that everything is just dysfunctional and not working
during the Trump presidency. The truth of the matter is
that many of these people, the illegals especially that are
using these government programs, many of them are working. Also,

(02:46):
they're working under the table. They got money from all
kinds of other sources. And so I think that it's
a fake panic that is being manufactured by the Democrats
because they really just need a strategy to undermine the president.
And the truth of the matter is what Republicans should
do is they should send a letter to every American

(03:07):
household saying Obamacare is a complete failure, as we told
you it was going to be. Remember, Jeff, you and
I were really vocal during that time saying do not
go down this road because this is a road that
is financially unsustainable. And what we're really arguing about is
how do we bail out a program that is financially unsustainable.

(03:32):
Obamacare is bankrupt, and that's why they need subsidies after
subsidies after subsidies, because the program does not work. And
Republicans have been proven right in that we knew it
was going to fail and it is failing.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
In other words, the source of the shutdown for the Democrats.
You're saying the underlying issue Republicans need to hammer that
point home again and again. I agree with you, but Grace,
I want to go back, if you don't mind, just
to the food stamps lapsing on Saturday. What is it,
twelve oh one am, November first, on Saturday. I'm just

(04:06):
to get your take on this. Forty two almost forty
three million Americans, now one out of eight Americans are
now on food stamps. That's a staggering number. It actually
doubled under Biden, almost all of them illegals, and just quickly,
forty five percent of the migrants that Biden brought in

(04:29):
from Afghanistan forty five percent, that's almost half food stamps,
forty two percent from Somalia that Biden brought in food stamps,
thirty four percent, from Iraq food stamps, Haitians twenty three percent,
that's almost one in four food stamps. And so, by

(04:51):
the way, sixty percent of all illegals, those are the
ones that are willing to admit it, they're on foodstamp apps.
So I want to ask you, is the food stamp
program being abused? Number one? And more importantly, you work hard,
you pay taxes. I work hard, I pay taxes. The

(05:13):
listeners to the show work hard and pay taxes. Should
we be paying for the food of illegal aliens, non
citizens and migrants that Joe Biden brought in jesf.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
It is absolutely outrageous and this is what the Republicans
have to reveal day in day out to the people.
There is so much fraud, waste, and abuse. And that's
why I think this so called hunger crisis isn't real
because these people have multiple sources of income. They have
multiple revenue streams, so it's not like, oh my gosh,

(05:50):
they're living hand to mouth and without these food stamps
they won't need no. They live than most people who
work hard, day in day out because they've up multiple
revenue streams. They're just gaming the system, and I think
it's going to be exposed.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
Grace, if you were advising the Republicans in Trump now,
should they make a deal with the Democrats in case
there is you know, people start going hungry, God forbid,
stores start getting looted. The images on the TV screens
of people saying I can't feed my children, people fighting

(06:28):
in grocery stores, people fighting in parking lots, in other words,
this manufactured crisis, as you put it, could blow up
in the Republicans's face. They could hurt the Republicans and
the Democrats could start gaining an advantage. Do you think
the Republicans should cut a deal and end the shutdown

(06:49):
or should they hold the line and force the Democrats
to capitulate.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
I think we have to hold the line on this one, Jeff.
And to tell you the truth, what I'm more concerned
about more than this fake people going hungry crisis is
the air traffic controllers. If you tell me what would
keep me up at night right now if I was
a Republican leader, it's more that our air traffic controllers
are really stretched in This is a really high stress job.

(07:16):
God forbids, something happens, somebody makes a mistake, and there's
a crisis with one of the planes. This is going
to be a catastrophe for both parties. But if you
ask me what worries me, it's the air traffic controllers
not getting paychecks, some of them having to get another
job at the same time that they're doing this high
stress job. I mean, that is nuts. However, I don't

(07:40):
think we have a choice right now. The Republicans have
to hold the line, and they have to continue to
expose that Obamacare is bankrupt and that so many of
these programs are actually quote unquote feeding people that have
multiple revenue streams, so more waste and abuse. This is
the moment of opportunity, and this is another chance for

(08:03):
Trump to fix the big problems that he loves to tackle.
He loves to fix, you know, big things, He thinks big.
He wants to tackle all of the systemic problems that
we have faced. This is a chance to expose again
the corruption in the food program and to really highlight
that Obamacare is a disaster grace.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
You've got about a minute left. Do you think the
Republicans have the guts ultimately to repeal Obamacare and finally
fix it. It's been fifteen years they've been promising, they
haven't delivered. Will this Congress under Trump, will they finally
end Obamacare and fix healthcare once and for all.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
Well, O, Jeff, you know you're asking a really good question,
because what astonishes me in all this, as much as
I'm really furious at the Democrats, the Republicans are always
flat footed. Like the last statement we have on this
from Johnson is that Scalis is working on a plan. Hello,
working on a plan? Why don't you have an alternative ready?

(09:10):
It's not like this is breaking news. We've been dealing
with this since twenty seventeen. We know that the plan is.
The program as it is right now is bankrupt and unsustainable.
Why didn't they have an alternative ready?

Speaker 2 (09:23):
Ah, you nailed it as usual. Why they have an
alternative waiting? You're dead on Grace as always. You light
them up, You light them up. Outstanding job. We'll talk
to you, same time, same place next week, Doctor Grace,
putting liberals in their place. All of your calls, I
promise next.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
