Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay, Trump now says the quiet part out loud. Ukraine
is losing the war, Russia is winning. Ukraine needs to
make a peace deal. If not, it's gonna get even worse.
Is Trump right? And do you care about Ukraine? Or
(00:22):
do you want Trump to start focusing exclusively on American
domestic policy issues? Six one seven two six six sixty
eight sixty eight. Okay, before we go to Andrea in
Rockport seven twenty ish Wednesday. You know what that means?
(00:43):
Truth or Troll. Take it away, Mike.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
And now America's favorite game show where you get to
decide on the Kuna Report.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
This is truth or.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
Today's entry for Truth or Trol once again comes from
President Trump in an interview with Politico. During this interview,
he was asked by Dasha Burns if it was time
for Ukraine to hold an election. Here's what Trump had
to say.
Speaker 3 (01:18):
Is it time for Ukraine to hold an election?
Speaker 4 (01:20):
Do you think?
Speaker 5 (01:22):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:22):
I think it's been a long time, it hasn't been
doing particularly well. Yeah, I think it's time. I think
it's an important time to hold an election. You know,
they're using war not to hold an election, but I
would think the Ukrainian people would, you know, should have
that choice, and maybe Zeleiski would win. I don't know
who would win. But they haven't had an election in
(01:43):
a long time. You know, they talk about a democracy,
but it gets to a point where it's not a
democracy anymore.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
So that's a pretty interesting response, I would say. And
to that, do you think he's just telling the truth
here or with just they just need an election this point,
or is he just trying to poke at Zelensky to
get him to read the peace deal with Russia.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
No, I think he's very angry at Zelenski for not
reading the peace deal. It's insulting. I mean, it's the
US peace proposal and this guy, you know, this, this
little midget man, and this corrupt little thief in Kiev
won't even you know, won't even read it. No. To me,
the part that I thought was funny was I don't know,
maybe he'll win. He knows full well if Zelenski holds
(02:31):
an election, he's gonna get slaughtered, He's gonna get destroyed,
so his hold No, I don't know why, you know,
let's just you know, he may even win. I don't know,
let's just have an election.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
But the question is Jeff Does Trump believe what he
just said?
Speaker 1 (02:46):
Yes, I mean he's kind of sticking it to Zelenski.
There's no question. You know he's mad at him. I
don't blame him, and he's done with his antics and
you know, and he he's trolling the guy in a
little innocent in terms of you know, I'm you know,
I want you to call an election. I know that's
the one thing you don't want to do, and I'm
(03:08):
playing kind of a bit stupid thinking you may win.
But I think no, I think he believes what he says.
He wants an election because he knows an election will
finish Zelenski, and so he's trying to put pressure on
Zelenski to sign this beat, to get this deal done,
or else you're going to face your own voters and
(03:28):
they're going to give you the boot. So I think, fundamentally,
I think he is telling the truth. But that's me
I want to hear from the audience. Do you think
when President Trump now insists that Zolensky hold elections, is
Trump a telling the truth he really wants him to
(03:50):
hold an election, he means it, or do you think
he's just trying to get under a little midget man's
caskin that he's just trying to now play with his
emotions a little bit and let him know that he's
not happy with him. Read the dang peace proposal a
truth betroll. You can vote on our web page WRKO

Speaker 5 (04:40):
And welcome hi Jeff.
Speaker 6 (04:42):
You know, Jeff's the point of this war. This war
is part of the Great Reset, and people don't seem
to realize that the European Union wants this swar to
go on. The deep state in America wants this war
to go on. They're just waiting out Trump. And as
soon as Trump is gone, they're going to continue this war.
Germany and England and France starting up the drafts. As
soon as Trump's gone, they're going to stop the draft.
(05:03):
They're going to have boys and girls in America and
in Europe go fight this, Go fight Russia. It's part
of the Great reset. I mean, the deep state is
alive and well in the EU. They're working over time,
and they're stopping free street, free speech, they're stopping trial
by jury, they're increasing the surveillance state. They're working hard.
Even though we think we've we no longer have the
(05:24):
deep state, you know, coming after us. This is all
just to keep going. They want this for and they
want it to decrease the population. They don't care about
American boys and girls, and they don't care about any
The European leaders don't care about the European boys and girls.
I'm sorry, that's what this is all about. And I
don't even know if Trump realizes that. And that's I
think part of the reason why Russia is kind of,
(05:45):
you know, not going forward with any real peace filled
because they realized that they're just going to come after
them as soon as Trump's gone. This is my opinion.
Speaker 1 (05:53):
Well, Andrea, look there's no question that care starmer the
Prime Minister of Britain, and Annual Macron in France and
the Chancellor of Journey for Friedrich Mertz, they want to
keep this war going, There's no question. And look, the
globalists in Europe have made it very clear they want
(06:15):
to destroy Russia. They do. There's a lot of money
to be made in Ukraine. This is part of their
great reset. They want to keep the gravy train going.
It's now really it's become an economic colony of the
European Union and of our globalist elites. Really, Zelensky is
(06:35):
just the puppet of the globalists. But they'd loved the
big prize is Russia. Soros has repeatedly said it the
World Economic Form. They've repeatedly said it. Russia has unlimited oil,
it's got minerals resources. They want to plunder Russia. There
(06:56):
you're looking at untold trillions of dollars in wealth that
they could pillage and plunder from the Russians. So what
they really want is they want this ward. If you
want to know their ultimate game plan, they want this
war to continue and continue and continue until there is
such a backlash in Russia where the public says niet
(07:20):
and they turn on Putin and they owe it's regime
change and then overthrow Putin, and then they can put
in a globalist puppet, basically a Russian Zelenski, and then
they can move in and just loot the hell out
of the place. So that's why, and all of this
is done on the backs of these poor Ukrainians who
(07:41):
are dying on that front, on that meat grinder. And
that's why Trump is saying he's upset. He says, I
keep getting sabotaged by Macron or Starmer or Mertz. I
have a deal with Zelenski's negotiators, and then one of
the three calls up Zelenski, and before you know it,
(08:03):
they add another condition. And just to give you the
most obvious Andrea with Zelenski's negotiators, they said, yeah, we're
willing to seed the land that Russia has now taken
in eastern Ukraine. Okay, you can also text the Coooner

Do you believe Ukrainian President Zolenski when he says he
has not read President Trump's peace proposal or do you
(08:48):
think he's just stalling for time. A He hasn't actually
really read the peace proposal. B he's just stalling for time.
You know where I stand on this. I think he's
clearly stalling for time. You know, I don't have time,
mister President. I am sorry. I'm so busy.
Speaker 7 (09:12):

Speaker 8 (10:33):
Welcome oh, I agree with you should start focusing on
America first because it's scary as these midterms. The cheating,
the cheating every time they win the election is mailing votes.
He's got to focus on all of that stuff because
that's how they're winning. I mean, if he's listening, he's
got to do something. He can't let it slip because
(10:55):
if we lose the midterms, we're done. I just don't
understand how people could vote Democrat when they saw the
mess that they got us into. No matter how things
may seem, where the prices is still up, it was
still worse before with an open board. I mean, how
could people do that crazy not to go out to
vote Miami so a socialists could give the elected Shame
(11:19):
on them, shame, shame, shame on them. I mean even
in New York City. But I think in New York City,
I think they cheated there too. I just can't believe
the New Yorkers would be that stupid to elect a socialist.
And look what he's picking. He's picking a criminal. He's
going to be in charge of something with a with
you know, the transit facility and stuff.
Speaker 1 (11:39):
You know, his criminal justice team one of his top advisors.
You can't make this up. Is a man who was
convicted and spent seven years in prison for armed robbery,
armed burglary. He's got a convict, He's got a Thud
as his menal Justice advisor. This is Mamdani. New York
(12:03):
is going to be a disaster. I'm telling you, it's
going to be a disaster. They're going to rue the
day they voted for this guy. But to your larger point, no, look,
we know the Democrats cheat and stealed, and there's no question,
and inflation was much higher under Biden. It's not even comparable.
But you know the problem is, and I'm not how
(12:25):
do I say this? I don't agree with it, but
this is what many are saying. We voted for Trump
to lower the prices to make it better, and they
feel that prices are still too high and they want
him to focus more on lowering you know, grocery prices,
(12:48):
food prices, gas prices, energy utility prices, just overall. And
my counter argument to that is, I understand I don't
like to pay high prices either, but give the man time.
He's only been in office for ten months. I don't
want to repeat myself, but as I said a couple
of weeks ago. You know, it took Reagan about two
(13:10):
years to turn around the inflation that was unleashed by
Jimmy Carter, So these things take a little bit of time.
The problem, Tom, and this is where I think the
White House they're not seeing this, and a lot of
Trump's allies are trying to warn him. The perception is
(13:33):
that he's too focused on foreign policy. Among many in
his base, that's the perception. I'm telling you. It's the
number one complaint that I get from Cooner country listeners
about Trump. And I used to never get complaints ever.
It was always they defended him, loved him, you know,
no matter what. But I've noticed now it's been about
(13:55):
ugh three four months, but especially the last month. Jeff,
I don't want him focusing on Venezuela. I don't want
him getting involved in the war between Russia and Ukraine.
I don't want him getting involved in Gaza and trying
to turn it into, you know, the French riviera of
the Middle East. In other words, they feel that he's
(14:17):
too distracted, too focused on winning the Nobel Peace Prize,
on being known as the Peace President, on stopping conflicts,
or dealing with conflicts around the world, and that he's
not focused enough on cost of living, on inflation, on
(14:39):
mass deportations, on crime. They feel that he's What they're
saying is he's not the candidate Trump, the president is
not the candidate that we voted for. That he's too
preoccupied with other things, foreign policy being number one. And
(15:01):
I get this now over and over. And these are
die hard supporters. They voted for him three times. They're
part of his base, they've been with him from the beginning.
And so this is what I've been trying to tell
the administration. Whether you know it or not, you're starting
to lose the plot. And what you saw in Miami
(15:24):
last night, and look, you should never vote for a socialist,
You're crazy. But many Republicans said, we're staying home to
send a message to Trump. We want you to focus
on problems here in America. And I don't know if
Trump is getting the message or not. I don't know.
I can tell you this, If the voters, if Republican voters,
(15:49):
if Trump voters, stay home in next November, in the
twenty twenty six midterms, it's going to be a slaughter,
I mean, cheating or no cheating. It's going to be
a slaughter. So I've been saying this for a while.
You've got to get rid of Pam Bondy, you've got
to start putting people in prison, and you've got to
(16:11):
go all hands on deck on the economy, all hands
on deck, because the perception is you're not doing enough.
And look in the end, you know, I know this
audience knows he's cleaning up Biden's mess. Who gave us
the inflation. It was Biden who gave us the high
(16:34):
gas prices. Biden who gave us the high food prices,
grocery prices, energy prices, energy bills. It's all Biden. This
is a mess that Biden the Democrats created. But the
problem now is he's been president for nearly a year
and people are saying fix it, when mean, we hired
(16:55):
you to fix it. And so I don't think he
quite comprehends that. Every time, for example, the more he
talks about Ukraine, like in this interview he did with Politico,
the more it reinforces the perception that he's not focusing
on the economy. It's the economy, stupid. You fix that,
(17:22):
everything will take care of itself. Six one seven two
six six sixty eight sixty eight is the number Harry
in Maine. Thanks for holding, Harry, and welcome.
Speaker 5 (17:37):
Hey Jeff, good morning.
Speaker 9 (17:39):
I really wanted to give you a couple of points
regarding Tam Bondy, but I think you're right about the
perception issue that Trump's cup with the economy. But we
just came off of a record Black Friday, gas prices
are at the lowest they've been since twenty twenty one,
and interest rates again to probably get cut again today.
(18:00):
So having said all that, you and I both know
an educated person knows that it's gonna take time to
undo what Biden did. So I agree with you on that. Jeff,
are you Hanny?
Speaker 1 (18:12):
I'm You're on a roll, my friend.
Speaker 9 (18:13):
Keep going, Harry, Okay, all right, So now I want
to just shift gears, and I don't want to change
the subject entirely, but you brought up Pam Bondi and
I've been trying to get this point in for a
few weeks now. When I think of the Attorney General
of the United States, I think of the subject expert
for our entire country, and anything that they're gonna do,
they need to be real calculated and make sure they
look up every possible technicality before they take an action
(18:36):
and get embarrassed.
Speaker 5 (18:37):
It's give can give you two examples.
Speaker 9 (18:39):
It was just announced that Alna Hava was yanked as
the Attorney General Acting Attorney General in New Jersey. It
was over a technicality that should have been that should
have been known upfront. That's a mistake by Bondi before
she even put Alina Haber in there. But more importantly,
Jeff Colemy's case was thrown out, as was Leutsia James.
And again it was because of a technicality. And think
(19:02):
about it.
Speaker 5 (19:02):
The person that was assigned to that case was a.
Speaker 9 (19:05):
Guy by the name of the prostitutor was Eric Sebert.
In about five days or a week or whatever it
was before the statue of limitations expired, they had to
pull him out of the position and they threw Lindsay
Halligan and then she got thrown out and the whole
case got thrown out on her technicality.
Speaker 5 (19:22):
Do you know who Eric Sebert is?
Speaker 1 (19:26):
I just know he's I think he's a He was
a Republican establishment hack right or am I wrong?
Speaker 9 (19:36):
Well yeah, no, you're right, But let me just give
you the backdrop on him. His father is a godfather
to want to call these kids, clearly, and if she
had done her pim BONDI that is, had done her homework,
and she's surrounded by dozens of competent attorneys. She's not
(19:57):
the only person working it, She's got hundreds of he's
at her disposal. Are you trying to tell me that
that that got through without anybody noting that his father
was a godfather, a godparent to want of Camy's kids. Hello,
I mean, it's just stupid.
Speaker 5 (20:13):
She's that just tells you.
Speaker 9 (20:14):
The incomfidence that this woman has. And I called earlier
in the summer. I've called member of times.
Speaker 5 (20:20):
I called you like in June.
Speaker 9 (20:21):
I said, you know, I'm gonna wait until September before
i cast my judgment on her, because you know, she's
probably dotting her eyes, crossing her teas and sold with.
Speaker 5 (20:28):
And so on. I'm done with her. And you're right.
Speaker 9 (20:32):
Part of what Trump ran on, Jeff was accountability. I know,
the economy is important. If we saw some actions and
these people getting put away from the January sixth Committee,
et cetera, et cetera, I think people would feel a
little bit better about things.
Speaker 5 (20:45):
So that's just my two cents.
Speaker 9 (20:47):
And as fire as the people in Miami, you know,
it's really disgusting to me because a high percentage of
the population.
Speaker 5 (20:53):
There of Cubans.
Speaker 9 (20:54):
I used to work that marketplace and they're really great
people to work with. They're religious. The feeling, I don't
understand it because they were oppressed under communism and socialism
for years in Cuba. How does that community support a socialist.
So that's my frustration. But anyway, keep up the good work, Jeff,
you do a great job.
Speaker 1 (21:14):
Thank you, Harry. I really appreciate a great call. No, look,
I'm with you. And and so many Cuban Americans were asked,
you know, why did you stay home, and they said,
we're trying to send Trump a message Like I'm not
excusing what they did. I look to me, it's a socialist.
My god, you go out and you vote against the socialists,
She's going to ruin Miami. But the point is they're
(21:36):
getting so frustrated with Trump. And by the way, they
don't like Pambondy. They're all complaining about Pambo. I'm talking
about his base. So you know, you mentioned Cuban Americans.
They're ferocious anti communists, diehard maga Trump's supporters. You know,
I remember when Biden was still president, Grace and I
(21:57):
and the kids, we took a quick vacation down the
floor and I had a Brandon Let's Go Brandon T
shirt and we were staying at a resort, and there
were a lot of Cuban Americans on vacation as well
at that resort. One after another congratulated me on my
T shirt and a love it, love it, you know,
(22:18):
keep going, We're gonna take care of that bum, you know,
I mean you, I mean they were all Trump.
Speaker 9 (22:23):
I mean like.
Speaker 1 (22:27):
They were Trump all the way. So what I'm saying
is they're deliberately telling posters if we go out and vote,
Trump's gonna think everything is fine. We want to send
him a message We're not happy with the way things
are going right now now. To me, whether you know
(22:50):
right or wrong, if your base is that dissatisfied, you
got to say to yourself, guys, we got to do
something a little different. There's a disconnect here. And you know,
look to me. I think the big beautiful bill is
going to kick in next year. I think interest rates
are going to go a little bit lower today, it
(23:12):
doesn't matter JR. Own Powell is out by what is
it the spring of next year. Looks like Kevin Hassett
is going to be the next chair of the Federal Reserve.
So my point being, the economy I think is going
to really start to boom starting next year, and inflation
is going to continue to go down and down. Wages
(23:32):
are going to start to go up, so you have
more purchasing power. So I think, you know, it's going
to work. The manufacturing revival, the reshoring of industry, the
trillions of dollars in investment. I think it's all going
to come together. But the you know, perception is reality,
as they say, right, if people perceive that the cost
(23:55):
of living is too high, and they perceive that, they
feel you it's almost like he's becoming Bush forty one
in a bizarre way where they're saying, oh, you know,
they give him high marks for foreign policy. You going
down the polls and they're like, oh, you know, I'm
very good man, I like them very good. Yep, yep.
But amazingly they're giving him low points on the economy
(24:19):
and on domestic issues. When Trump ran on and endless
wars focus on America first and turn our country around,
border economy, inflation, deportations, and that's where his base is
dissatisfied with him. So now he went on a speed.
(24:43):
He gave a speech yesterday in Pennsylvania. They're calling it
the Affordability Tour. So I mean, he's starting to get
the message, and he talked about, you know, affordability and
how things are getting better and better and they're going
to continue to get better. But the fact of the
matter is he's got a perception problem. He's got to
bust through that. That's why in the end, if I
(25:06):
was advising him, I'd say, look, mister President, you're getting
caught in the weeds here man. Russia is winning, Ukraine
is losing. Zelensky's a crook. The public in Ukraine is
turning on him decisively. If the Europeans want to prompt
this loser up. Look, there's only so much you can do.
You know the expression it takes two to tango. So
(25:30):
if Putin doesn't want peace and Zelensky doesn't want peace,
there's nothing you can do. And so all you're doing
is feeding into this perception that you're more interested in
things abroad than you are at home. I know it's
not true, but that's the perception now that's starting to
(25:53):
formulate out there. So I just cut him loose. Look,
don't send them our weapons, and you watch what happens.
You watch the Russians will steamroll them, and Zelensky will
have no choice but to beg for peace. So that's
(26:16):
why I said on X yesterday, it's I'm sorry, cut
them loose and look to be fair. This is what
Trump camp, Trump, you know, campaigned on this. I'm not
going to be Ukraine first. I'm gonna be America first.
No more money, no more aid, no more weapons. If
(26:36):
Ukraine wants to fight, they can fight. But we're out.
We're done. We're done. Six one seven two six six
sixty eight sixty eight agree, disagree. Susan in Whitman. Thanks
for holding Susan and welcome.
Speaker 4 (26:57):
Oh m G good morning, COONa, Good morning America. Hi,
Susan Sayman. As a woman, we are always juggling many
things in our life to make it all fit together.
Speaker 9 (27:09):
That's what Trump is doing.
Speaker 4 (27:11):
Stop your wandy little baby act out there, people, and
not vote Republican. You're fighting ourchitails despite your face. Stop it.
Give things a minute, have some patience. We live in
a world of Oh, I want it now, I want
it now, I want it now. Have some patients get
off your butt vote Republican, or we will all seem sorry.
Speaker 1 (27:37):
Oh Susan, I'm with you. Oh listen, if I was
living in Miami anywhere, I don't care. Okay here, I
don't mean to change the subject just briefly, but I'll
just I talked about this on X yesterday. Michelle Wou
has now come out and said she desperately needs to
(27:58):
raise taxes. She's a socialist right as everybody knows. She's
basically mom Donnie with patsuits. She now says there are
so many illegal aliens now in Boston because of her
sanctuary city policies and all the money that it takes
to defeat them, to clothe them, to house them, to
give them welfare, to educate them, free health care, the
(28:18):
whole bit. She says that Boston now is starving for funds,
one of the highest tax cities in the country. It's
not enough. She wants to desperately raise even more taxes.
The problem is there's something called proposition two point five,
which is, as everybody knows, a law passed end Mass
(28:39):
in nineteen eighty that limits the ability of cities to
raise taxes unless you get the approval of voters. So
she's now attacking Prop. Two point five Prop two and
a half and saying it's got to go. It's tying
her hands. She needs the money, we don't have control
(29:02):
over our tax rates. Blah blah blah blah. In other words,
she wants to take blood from a stone. So she's
run Boston into the ground. And like I predicted, I said,
you watch, They're gonna cut services which they have. They're
gonna cut benefits which they have. It's gonna be American
(29:23):
citizens who are gonna pay. Crime is gonna go up
because they're gonna cut police. Everything is gonna get cut
to take care of the illegals. And it still won't
be enough. And she's gonna end up raising taxes through
your nose. You're gonna be paying taxes through the nose.
And there she is. So what I'm saying is wherever
(29:45):
socialists take power, hardworking tax paying people get screwed, screwed.
So I'm living in Miami. Message or no message to
President Trump. Believe me, I would write him an email Okay,
let's I don't have a radio talk show. I'd say,
mister president, could you work a little harder on inflation whatever?
(30:08):
But I'm voting against that socialist. I'm no, no, no,
I'm not staying home. What are you crazy? You want
Miami to become like New York City now under Mamdani?
You want Miami to become like Boston. And this is
in deep red Florida. So Susan, I'm with you all
the way, all the way, Susan, I've got to ask
(30:33):
you this as things stand right now, December tenth, twenty
twenty five, so we're just less than a year away
now from the twenty twenty six midterms. Are you worried
that Republicans are going to lose the midterms and the
Democrats will come back, retake the House, maybe even the Senate,
(30:58):
and start impeaching Trump and harassing Trump and persecuting Trump
and essentially crippling his presidency. Are you concerned that the
Democrats may sweep back the power.
Speaker 4 (31:13):
Faith in this country and the stronger of faith, like
Charlie Curt's wife said last night, the muscle it grows stronger.
Get out there, you wanty little raft stop filmside for yourself.
Give it a minute and stop it. He's like a woman.
He's doing it all like we all do as women.
We do it all to make it all work. We
have to think of everything as everybody. All have to
(31:36):
work together. Stop it, get out and vote, get Mary
Hilly and those two d days out of office.
Speaker 1 (31:43):
Amen. Amen, Susan, thank you very very much for that call. Look,
let me throw this log on the fire and I
want to hear from everybody. Okay, please, this is like
a test taking the temperature now of the Trump base,
(32:04):
of Maga, of Kooner, country of patriots everywhere. Do you
think Trump is spending? Because I agree with Susan. I
think as president you have to do a lot, you
have to juggle a lot. I think the economy is
going to come together beautifully. But whatever that's me. Okay,
(32:27):
I want to hear from you. You know, no, you
know my position. Do you want Trump to focus more
at home? Do you feel that he's spending too much
time on foreign affairs, that he's getting too distracted, whether
it's Russia, Ukraine, whether it's Gaza, whether it's Venezuela, whatever
(32:49):
it may be, and that he needs to focus more
on increasing the deportations. They've only deported about six hundred
and fifty thousand so far. That's you know, that's not
many illegals. Now. A lot of it is resistance from Democrats,
sanctuary city mayors. I mean, you see all these anti
(33:10):
ice protests. They're always being sued, they're always going to court.
But the fact is the deportations have not gone nowhere
near as fast as they need to go. So my
question to you is, do you want him to focus
on intensifying the deportations. Do you want him to focus
(33:31):
more on the cost of living high prices? Do you
feel that inflation and the cost of living is still
too high, that crime is still too high, that, in
other words, he needs to focus more on issues at home,
quality of life quote unquote affordability issues. Do you wish
(33:57):
he would focus less on foreign policy and more on
domestic policy. I'm just curious, and are you also frustrated
with Pambondy No major arrests, and there's no major arrests
coming for at least the foreseeable future. So, in other words,
(34:18):
the Miami test, what happened in Miami yesterday, The perception
that President Trump is too distracted and you want to
send them a message. Do you agree? How do you
feel about Trump right now? Six one seven two six
(34:39):
six sixty eight sixty eight. I want to hear every side.
I want you to get a chance to get everything
off your chest. Trump's people are listening, So Kooner country,
this is your chance. Six one seven two six six
sixty eight sixty eight. Don in New Hampshire, Thanks for
holding Don, and welcome.
Speaker 5 (35:01):
Good morning, Jeff, Hi Don.
Speaker 10 (35:04):
I'm thinking back to my high school economic stage and
we I don't know if you recall this. I'm a
little older than you probably, but we used to have
the phrase guns and butter, and we said that you
can't have an economy in the United States that boos,
upholds all the government programs and fight the war.
Speaker 5 (35:26):
So today, the way I look at.
Speaker 10 (35:27):
It, we have guns, butter, healthcare supporting all these illegals.
Speaker 5 (35:33):
Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
Speaker 10 (35:36):
So I don't want to throw a wet blanket and
everything but Ford, when you look at it from that standpoint,
doesn't it look fairly hopeless.
Speaker 1 (35:46):
Well, look, I have to tell you know it's funny
you should mention that don it's really it's uncanny. Actually,
I was not able to sleep last night. I mean,
I got some sleep. I'm battling a bit of a flu.
I'm doing fine, but so anyway, but you know when
you get these chills like you're hot, you're cold, you're hot,
you're cold, you're hot. Anyway, that was me last night. Okay,
(36:07):
so I just whatever, aches and pains. I'm fine, but
just you know, you can't sleep. So I'm not able
to sleep, and I don't know why. I don't know.
I really I don't know why. But I just kept
thinking about the national debt, I swear to you, and
I'm just this is what came to my mind because
it goes directly to your point on we're thirty seven
(36:29):
trillion going on thirty eight trillion dollars in debt. That's
a fact. That's a mathematical fact. We spend more just
on the interest on the debt. It's now gotten to
I'm rounding it up to a trillion dollars. It's almost
at a trillion. Don't quote me. I think it's nine
(36:52):
hundred and sixty one billion dollars on interest payments to
the debt. I'm just going to round it up to
a trillion. Okay, so we're paying now a trillion dollars
out of our budget, that's out of our taxes, a trillion,
a trillion. That is so it's an unimaginable amount amount
(37:12):
of money that doesn't pay down the principle. It's not
as if it's okay, a trillion, it's thirty seven, then
thirty six, then thirty five, then thirty four. Okay, every
year you can see it go down. No, it's one
trillion dollars just the interest on the debt. That's more
(37:34):
than our entire defense budget. That's more than Social Security.
That's more than Medicare, that's more than Medicaid. That's more
than Obamacare. That's more than you name your issue, name
your you know, your any item in the budget. Now,
(37:54):
this is what happens to third world banana republics. You
end up putting so much money just to pay the
interest to finance the debt. You have nothing left and
your country just gets weaker and weaker and more degraded
and poorer and poorer. Now we're still a wealthy country,
(38:14):
we still have a big economy. There's still a lot
that works. But as i'm thinking about this, I'm like,
and by the way, and we're still at two trillion
dollar deficits every year, so it's not even like we
have a balanced budget where you can say, okay, but
we're not adding any more now to the debt. No,
the debt keeps going up. We're going to be hitting
(38:35):
forty trillion very soon. So we have an out of
control welfare state with all these illegals that are bleeding
us dry, thirty forty million minimum minimum and many of
whom don't want to assimilate. Let's just call it what
it is. Can't call it for what it is. I'm
(38:58):
up last night and I'm like, the math is the
math is the math. There's unless we do something very
dramatic that we're gonna go broke. Like I'm sorry, it's just,
you know, it's like credit card upon credit card upon
(39:19):
credit card, and we're just we're barely able to make
the interest payments.
Speaker 5 (39:24):
Now.
Speaker 1 (39:24):
We still have a good income coming in, so we're
able to make payments. But god forbid, what if we
get hit by a depression, What if we get hit
by a serious recession something we can't control
