Speaker 1 (00:00):
Good morning, Coon Air Contry. Okay, my friends, jam packed
show for you today. I promise huge developments regarding the
FBI bombshell revelations. I promise we're going to get to that. Also,
(00:20):
Trump now deploying troops to Portland to stop Antifa and
their attacks on ICE facilities. Massive developments. But my friends,
tragedy struck. This time. It was Grand Blank, Michigan. And
as I said on X and I want to repeat
(00:41):
it right now, another act of left wing domestic terrorism
inspired by the Democrats. This time a Mormon church, the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints and LDS
Church in Grand Blank, Michigan. It's about sixty miles north
(01:03):
slightly northwest of Detroit. A very peaceful community, or at
least it was. This is one of those areas that
is a heavily pro Trump pro MAGA area. And yesterday
a deranged madman by the name of Thomas Sanford. He's
(01:24):
a forty year old or he was a forty year
old Iraq war veteran, a staunch liberal Democrat. In fact,
he had lawn signs Stop Trump all over his lawn. Well,
he got into his pickup truck and according now to
(01:46):
multiple witnesses and law enforcement, at the ten am service,
while people were inside, think of this in a house
of God, in a place of worship, doing nothing to
anybody except thanking God for all the blessings he has
(02:08):
bestowed upon them. And he took his truck and he
rammed it into the door of the church. Initially, many
of the church goers thought this was an accident, that
somehow the person got derailed from the road and hit
(02:29):
the church, and so they ran out, not in fear,
but to help that they thought this person needed help,
to help this individual. And then to their absolute shock
and horror, he pulled out a gun and started to shoot,
and they said all they heard was shot after shot
(02:52):
after shot after shot. There were several hundred worshipers in
that church. Police were called almost immediately, and I have
to give the local police credit. They response time was
beyond phenomenal. In fact, without the police response time, the
(03:14):
lightning quick response time, we would have had dozens of
people dead. This would have been one of the biggest
massacres in American history, There's no question about it. The
police got there under less than thirty seconds, and they
exchanged gunfire with the gunmen, and they eventually shot him
(03:36):
and killed him on the spot, but not before he
killed four churchgoers and wounded eight more. Some are in
very critical condition. What he also did to show you
how evil and premeditated this was because he was in
a Rock War veteran and apparently according to his mother,
(03:59):
we're just going by his mother now on Facebook. She
said that her son served what was it four tours
in Iraq from two thousand and four to two thousand
and eight. He learned how to make iedes, which was
a specialty of the anti American Iraq militias, and so
he learned how to make improvised explosive devices. Police say
(04:23):
they found several of them in the truck or around
the truck on the scene. They also found several more
when they stormed his home after the attack. He deliberately
set the church on fire. It wasn't enough to come
in there and shoot and kill. No, no, no, no no.
(04:46):
He had to burn the whole damn thing to the
ground and burn it down. He did. He raised it.
Now the fear is and this is what the police
are saying that they I believe now there could be
even more victims who were trapped in the blaze, in
the fire, in the flames, and they were not able
(05:09):
to make it out through the back door or escape.
Most people who did escape escaped through the back door
because he was there in the front door, shooting anybody
he could. In total, so far, the death toll, as
I said, it is four dead, eight wounded, several of
(05:29):
them in very critical condition. However, they feared that with
the blaze, the fire, and by the way, they just
saw plums of smoke, black smoke the whole surrounding area. Said,
you could see the plums of smoke, black smoke into
the air. He lit that thing to the ground. He
wanted to kill everyone that was there. And so the
(05:54):
question is why, why Why? Another day in America, another
mass shooting and another act of left wing terrorism. And
as I pointed out on x he was a staunch Democrat,
(06:16):
he was a rabbit anti Trumper. He had stopped Trumps
signs all over his lawn. But why attack the Mormon Church,
the LDS Church, the Latter day Saints Church, Because as
we saw with the shooting of Charlie Kirk and the
group that he was involved with, Antifa, they see not
(06:40):
just Trump, but they see Christians and Conservatives in particular
as the mortal enemy of America, as the MAGA shock troops,
in their words, stormtroopers in this military fascist Nazi dictatorship,
in this crazy, paranoid fantasy world that they live in
(07:06):
that is now being descending upon the United States. And
so that Mormon church was known to be a MAGA hotbed.
Not that they spoke politics in the church or during
the church service, but it's the Mormons, and that particular
church is well known for being a conservative church, for
(07:28):
being a very Christian church, and most Conservatives and Christians
in that area especially, but across the country are known
to be strong Trump supporters. And so he wanted to
hit the hotbed of what he thought was the MAGA
base of support, and that's what he did. Now, President Trump,
(07:52):
to his credit, took the truth social almost immediately. And
when I say he's outraged, he is absolutely outraged. He
has every right to be outraged. And the way he
put it is this was the act of another sick leftist,
this time a man consumed with hatred for Christians. And
(08:15):
as Trump said, and he's right, this growing at these
growing attacks on Christians in the United States. But also
around the world is a war on Christianity. It's not
just the war on conservatives, and it's not just a
war on Maga, but it is a war on Christianity.
(08:39):
And this has to stop, and it is time now
for Christians. I'm sorry, but if you keep turning the
other cheek, and I'm not urging violence, in fact, quite
the contrary, but if you keep turning the other cheek,
and what I mean by that is i e. Burying
your heads in the sand and pretending that this is
not taking place, well then you are like sheep or
(09:03):
lamb to the slaughter. Not just you, but your family,
your friends, your community, members of your church. Christianity religion
is not a suicide pact. Frankly, to turn deliberately turn
your head to me is an act not just of cowardice,
(09:28):
but it's immoral. Suicide in the Christian tradition is immoral.
Life is precious and you should defend your life and
defend the lives of those around you. Now, I want
to make one final point, and then I want to
open up the phone lines six one seven two, six
six sixty eight sixty eight. When is this going to stop?
(09:54):
It's now becoming as I said on x almost it's
almost daily. Now it's almost another day and another act
of left wing terror and left wing violence. Is it
going to be a Catholic church in Minnesota as a
couple of weeks ago by a crazy transgender leftist. Is
(10:15):
it gonna be Charlie Kirk in Utah? But this time
it's on behalf of transgender antifa leftists. Who is it
going to be? Is it going to be an ice
facility that's gonna get shot up? Or now? Is it
going to be a Mormon church or tomorrow an Evangelical church,
(10:39):
or maybe a Baptist church, or maybe another Catholic church,
or maybe an Orthodox Christian church or an Episcopalian church
or a Presbyterian church, or it's going to be another
MAGA rally. Six one seven, two, six, six, sixty eight
sixty eight is the number okay shooting in Michigan. This
(11:02):
time the target was a Mormon church Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter day Saints. It was a service that
began at ten am and another crazed anti trumper drove
his truck into the church. The front door of the
church got out as these poor church goers thought this
(11:22):
was an accident. They actually came out of the church
to help the person and then lo and behold, he
came out. He had a gun and he just started
to shoot, and he didn't stop shooting. And as I
said in my opening monologue, had there not been such
an immediate, lightning fast response by the police, they were
(11:43):
there under thirty seconds, we're looking a dozens dead. Then
the shooter, Thomas Sanford, a forty year old man, He
died in the shootout with police. He was a Irock
War veteran who by the way, also a former marine.
Was battling at PTSD. According to family members, friends who
(12:07):
knew him, they say, when he came back from the
war in Iraq, was just not the same, just not
the same man, and had all kinds of mental health problems,
mental health issues, and just couldn't seem to get over it.
And anyway, he also brought IEDs improvised explosive devices basically bombs,
(12:30):
and apparently he detonated one of them and it started
a massive fire. And police believe that the death toll
is going to rise. It is currently four dead, eight wounded.
These are from just the gunshot wounds alone, but they
believe there potentially could be victims trapped in the blaze
(12:50):
who passed away, So we shall see what the final
death count is. President Trump says, this is now a
war on Christians, and it is getting worse and worse
around the world, and here in the United States. I
want to play to you the Grand Blank Township police
(13:12):
Chief William Renner. This was early, so he will give
a death count that is much lower than what we
got last night. But listen to him describe. It was
about maybe twenty twenty five minutes into the service and
then the madman struck roll cut thirty mic.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
That we're going to talk about here today, as I said,
was happen at ten twenty five am at the Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, which is located
at forty two eighty five McCanless Shroud. During this incident,
what we know right now is a forty year old
suspect from Burton. He's a male. He drove his vehicle
(14:00):
through the front doors of the church. He then exited
his vehicle, firing several rounds at individuals within the church.
Speaker 1 (14:12):
I mean, do you know how sick you ought to
be to do that? Like, no, really, do you know
how sick you have to be, how evil, how twisted
to just what do these people ever do to you?
I mean they're going to church for God's sake, Like,
is no place sacred anymore? You're not even safe going
(14:32):
to church. Listen now to the police chief, he continues,
World Cut thirty one, Mike.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
Ten gunshot victims have been transported to local hospitals at
this time, including one who has been deceased. Officers who
were trained immediately responded to the area. One was a
DNA off and then one was a Grandblank township officer
(15:03):
where they meant to suspect and they engaged in gunfire
with that particular individual neutralized and a suspect. And that
suspect is no longer with us, as I said, it
is a forty year old male from.
Speaker 1 (15:16):
Burtin, Okay. So the DNR is Department of Natural Resources.
So that was one of the officers who arrived. And
of course they've upped the death toll. Now there was
much earlier that in the day was the press conference.
It's not one dead, it's at least four dead. Now again,
had they not come so quickly and engaged in a shootout.
(15:39):
This ten dead, twenty dead, thirty dead. I mean, these
were defenseless people in a church. Nobody there had a gun.
Nobody in that Mormon church had a gun. They were
it was like, you know, shoot, you know, pardon the pond,
but it's like shooting fish in a barrel. Had the
police not arrived that quick, let's say the response time
(16:02):
was three minutes and not thirty seconds, I mean, it
would have been a shooting gallery. And that's that's that
was the difference between four dead and forty dead. And
to show you how demented and evil this man was.
For good measure, he burned the whole church down, so
people were trapped inside that church. I mean, that's that's
(16:26):
how sick and that to me, that's how brainwashed and
indoctrinated this guy became. That if you vote for Trump,
this is what you get coming for you. You know
you deserve this, this is what you're going to get,
and this is what you deserve to get. Listen now
to the police chief that a fire was deliberately set
(16:49):
from most likely from one of these IEDs that he
brought with him. And now they fear that they're going
to find additional victims on the scene roll cut thirty
two Mike.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
During all this incident as well, there was a fire
that occurred and we believed that that was deliberately set
by this aspect. We do believe that we will find
additional victims once we have that scene secure.
Speaker 1 (17:20):
Monstrous, honestly monstrous. Now I want to ask all of you,
is President Trump right? Is this now a deliberate attack
on Christians? Is this now a war? A leftist war
on Christians? Do you agree with him? And let me
(17:42):
ask you, do you believe this was an act of
left wing terrorism? Another in a long list of terrorist
violence from the radical left inspired by the Democratic Party,
and they're insane hatred and demonization of Trump and Trump's supporters.
(18:03):
Six seven two six six sixty eight sixty eight is
the number you can also text the Coonerman seven zero
four seven zero seven zero four seven zero. Okay, my friends.
Another deadly mass shooting, this time up in Grand Blank, Michigan,
(18:23):
which is about sixty miles north of Detroit. A Mormon
church was deliberately targeted. Four were killed, eight were wounded.
The entire church was also burned to the ground. And
the question now that many are asking and the question
I'm asking all of you was this an act of deliberate,
(18:46):
deliberate left wing terrorism? Is Trump right? Are we now
witnessing and experiencing a war on Christianity both here in
America and increasingly around the world. So let me ask
all of you. It is the Kooner Country Poll Question
(19:07):
of the Day sponsored by Marios Marios Quality Roofing, Siding
and Windows. President Trump says Christians are now under attack?
Do you agree.
Speaker 3 (19:24):
A?
Speaker 1 (19:25):
Yes, B no? You can vote on our web page
wrko dot com slash cooner wrko dot com slash Cooner.
Kuh And is in national Er. You can also vote
via x and last night Holy mackerel was I active
(19:46):
on x I mean it was one post after another
last night, so you can vote there as well. My
handle all one word at the Kooner Report, at the
Cooner Report. Kuh And is in national Er. So let
me ask all of you. In the wake of this tragedy,
(20:09):
this mass shooting, this time in Grand Blanc, Michigan at
an LDS a Mormon church, President Trump says Christians are
now under attack? Do you agree? A yes, B no?
You know where I stand. To me, this is now
an obvious yes all the way. And the question that
(20:34):
I think many churches should be having, and frankly synagogues
and other places of worship, but especially churches, is how
do you bolster security?
Speaker 3 (20:46):
Now?
Speaker 1 (20:46):
How do you keep your parishioners or your church goer
safe because this is happening more and more frequently, and
I'm sorry, it's almost now negligence not to have security
per cause. Osians in place agree disagree six one seven
two six six sixty eight sixty eight lines are loaded,
(21:10):
Rob in New Hampshire. You're going to kick us off, Rob,
thanks for holding and welcome.
Speaker 4 (21:18):
Jeff. It's actually it's not a good warning. Listen, you
said there's a time earlier you said there's a time
for denouncing the actions of the left. No, it's not.
It's not for us to denounce the left. It's for
the left to denounce themselves, to denounce these crazy operatives.
(21:42):
I mean, did you see all the stars on TV
last night, on MSNBC and CNN denouncing this violence, George Clooney,
et cetera. No, you did, You didn't see one. How
about that rally? The left has a peace rally, BOF
(22:04):
is supposed to be peaceful man. No peace rally scheduled.
That's no rally scheduled at all. There's no words coming
over the media speaking negatively of these murders and this
violence and these threats at all. None. If you watch
(22:24):
the left media, they will actually turn the story against us.
They will turn it against Christianity for being the bit
said and etc. You know the rap. But and and
we can't hang a hat on the fact that this
(22:46):
guy was crazy. We have millions of crazy people, Tons
and tons of people have PTSD. We can't make that
the excuse. They will make that an excuse that Trump
put this guy into a position where he would get
PTSD and all the other soldiers and YadA, YadA, YadA,
(23:07):
and we've got to disarm the soldiers as they returned.
That was an argument of the left about ten years ago. No,
this is this is fulacant, lacant war against Christianity, and
it is going on across the world, and it is coordinated,
(23:28):
and the left wing media in this country is fanning
the No, they're throwing gasoline on the flame.
Speaker 1 (23:35):
Nailed it, You nailed it, Rob, you nailed it. Look
you look at the Middle East. Christians are being exterminated.
They're being massacred. In Syria, they have a Jihadis now
in power. Literally was part of Al Qada. He's now
running the entire country. They are going to Christian villages
and torching them one after another. This is in Syria,
(23:58):
under the nose of the world. Then everybody knows about this.
Nobody cares. And these are Christians, you said, let people
know that date back to the time of Christ. Many
of them speak Aramaic, which is literally the language of Jesus.
Others speak Assyrian, which is a very ancient language that
Jesus sometimes spoke. Okay, his primary language was Aramaic, but
(24:20):
he would also speak Assyrian. So what I'm saying is
these are some of the oldest Christian communities on earth.
They are being wiped out. They're being wiped out in Syria.
They're being wiped out in Lebanon. They're being wiped out
in Egypt, They're being wiped out in Iraq, and the
world is saying absolutely silent. Look at Nigeria. The Christians
(24:45):
are being thus destroyed by the Islamists. In Nigeria. It
is atrocity after atrocity. They're burning down churches, they're killing priests,
they're killing nuns, they're killing parishioners. The world says nothing.
The world does nothing with all due respect to what's
happening in Gaza. I'm not trying to look I'm not
trying to politicize this. I'm just speaking truth to power.
(25:09):
Everybody's focused on what's happening in Gaza. What's happening in
many parts of the world to the Christians, makes Gaza
look like a Sunday picnic. Nothing nothing from the world
because the media refuses to cover it. Now Here in
the United States, you're dead on who's fanning the flames,
(25:30):
who's pouring gasoline on the fire. It's the media. Just
this weekend alone, you just watched the media coverage Trump
dictator fascist. This is authoritarianism. Why because they indicted James Comy.
So let me get this straight. No, no, let me
(25:51):
according to the media, just to show you how unhinged
they've become. So you can put Steve Bannon in jail.
This is under the Biden doj put Bannon in jail,
Navarro in jail. You can indict Trump not once, not twice,
not three times, but four times, and two assassination attempts
(26:11):
that you all cheered on. You can wage law fare
and destroy someone like Michael Flynn bankrupt him, Dinesh Desuza
bankrupt him. Okay, they went, they went after every ally
of Trump they could find. Never mind what they did
to the j sixers. I'm talking grandmothers they put behind
(26:36):
bars for ten years. And all of a sudden, now
this crooked cop, this liar, this leaker, this criminal call
me gets his comeuppance. The man who ruined the FBI,
that's what he did. He ruined the FBI because he
(26:57):
so politicized it and corrupted it. And all of a sudden,
now you're going on again. You look to have it godless,
there's a dictatorship. My god, he's gonna put a hole
in jail. It's no coincidence. And then on Sunday, boom,
And that's what they do. They whip up, they inflame,
(27:20):
they incite, knowing full well that there are unhinged individuals
like this guy who can be easily set off to
commit an act of terror or act of violence, and boom,
that's what happened. He just snapped. And they're not gonna stop.
(27:44):
They're not gonna stop. And the Left is not going
to denounce themselves. They want this, Okay, You want to
know definitively that the shooter in the in the U
up in Grand Blanc, Michigan, the man who shot up that,
you know that poor Mormon church was an anti trumper
and a vicious anti trumper at that CNN this is
(28:09):
CNN All Morning Long. You know what they're talking about,
and we're gonna get to it later in the show.
Trump deploying National Guard troops troops to Oregon to Portland
in particular to protect federal buildings and ice facilities from
rampaging mobs of Antifa thugs, and the governor of Oregon
(28:33):
and the mayor of Portland saying, we don't need this.
This is an invasion. This is why you're bringing troops here.
Not a word on the shootings, not a word on
the massacre. So four dead, eight wounded, most likely more
(28:54):
victims because of the fire that was set and people
were you know, trapped inside. And the mainstream Now, if
this was a Trumper who did it, If this was
some kind of a crazed you know, a MAGA supporter,
wall to wall saturation coverage, now let's sweep this under
(29:17):
the rug and pretend it never happened. Six one seven
two six six sixty eight sixty eight is the number.
Let me throw this log on the fire. Is it
time now for churches to have armed security? Is it
time for pastors, priests, reverends, whatever to get together with
(29:42):
their local church committees and their parishioners and their churchgoers
and maybe have one or two people stand at the
door of the church, someone they know, someone they trust,
to provide extra armed security. Because I don't think this
is going to stop. I think it's only to get worse.
You have my honest opinion. And if you don't like
(30:04):
the idea of having people who are armed inside the
house of God, which I understand, then maybe place them
just outside the door while worship is taking place. Or
if you don't like that, talk to your local police
department and have them come in for masks during that
time and provide a squad car or two, have some
(30:28):
kind of a police presence right there so that people
will know this is not a gun free zone, that
these people are not just going to be harmless sitting
ducks for some sick, evil, demented anti Trump leftist I'm
just speaking from the heart here. You tell me if
you agree or disagree six one seven two six six
(30:52):
sixty eight sixty eight. But we have to start taking
more precautions. We have to become much more aware, and
we have to start getting ready to defend ourselves. Agree, disagree.
Dave in Pennsylvania, Thanks for holding Dave, our Western PA
constitutionalist correspondent right there, Pittsburgh. Dave, How are you my friend?
(31:17):
And what do you make of all this?
Speaker 3 (31:19):
Jeff?
Speaker 4 (31:20):
Good mom and my friend.
Speaker 3 (31:21):
Hawaii you buddy before, Yeah, you sound like you're doing
better there.
Speaker 4 (31:27):
How's the ribs? You're feeling better, buddy, You're getting better.
Speaker 1 (31:30):
They're getting better. Knock on wood.
Speaker 3 (31:31):
Hey, hey, Jeff, I'm going to put myself out there.
You know, I'm a whatever, a next marine, a farmer marine. Okay,
I have FEDTSD. I'm in Iraqi that two times because
it's storm, and then Iraqi Freedom. I was in THEAMI reserves,
petulein in Iraqi Freedom. Jeff, I'm not going to go
berserk and shoot somebody, and I have full blown PTSD.
(31:53):
In fact, the Monda percent servants connected, Jeff, And I'm
going to say to this punk that did this, Jeff,
this has come from a marine. Blessed by the Good Lord,
our God, by the Holy Trinity. And I'm a Christian.
I'm a Jewish Christian MESSI in a q Josh, it
was my savior. This guy is nothing but a punk,
or was a punk. He wants to call himself a marine,
(32:13):
and he's a left wing terrorist. That's how it was
of It's left wing terrorism. And as far as his
punk goes, he's not a devil dog. That's what we
call each other, devil dog's marines and leathernecks. You're nothing
but a punk, buddy, and I hope you're burning in hell.
Don't even think the media owns a farmer marine.
Speaker 4 (32:29):
No, he's not.
Speaker 3 (32:30):
He's a punk and I'm calling him out.
Speaker 4 (32:32):
Is a marine.
Speaker 3 (32:33):
Jeff is a man of my word, and I'm not perfect,
but a man of honor and try to do the
right thing. Jeff, I carry a nine mil I sent
you a picture on a message this morning. If I
was near this punk and I saw this happening, he
would meet mister Harlow point via nine mil glock nineteen
law enforcement special or I would kill him with my
bare hands, defending the people I love and defending those
(32:54):
that would defend my flag in my country against the
punk like this. He's not a marine, he's a scumbag punks.
Speaker 1 (33:02):
Dave. I hear you, and look, you don't just walk
to you know, you don't just talk to talk, You
walk the walk. And I'm very happy that you called
because you're right. You served honorably multiple tours in Iraq.
You have full blown PTSD. You've told me this several times,
so I know what you're telling me is the truth.
And you don't go around shooting up churches or shooting
(33:23):
up anything, you know, so that's not an excuse. I
completely agree with you, Dave. I want to ask you
this though, and again I'm not excusing what he did.
It doesn't justify or excuse. What he did was beyond monstrous,
beyond evil. But I'm just asking you, Dave, there are
service members who fall through the cracks. The VA is
(33:48):
not there for them, or they're not as proactive as
they should be with some of our returning veterans. And
I'm just saying from what I've been reading, because look,
he did have a wife, he did have a son. Apparently,
you know, he was in some ways very patriotic. He
has two big flags American flags on his pickup truck.
(34:10):
At least from the photos that I've seen, he loved
this country. He served four tours. There's pictures of him
hunting with his son, and you can see he loves
his son. So what I'm trying, I'm not trying to
sympathize or paint a portrait of sympathy. What I'm trying
to say is when you look at the pictures, when
(34:31):
you look at the bio of this guy, he doesn't
strike anyone as a crazy mass shooter. And so what
they all say, and they're not again defending what he did,
but they're saying when he came back from me Rack,
he just wasn't the same, there was something wrong about him,
(34:53):
and that he wasn't getting the treatment, the battling these demons,
these mental health issues, and eventually maybe his demons overcame him,
or he just bought too much of the propaganda from
the left wing media and the Democrats. We don't know.
But what I'm asking you is, Dave, is there a
(35:15):
problem with us sending men to war to fight? All
of these tours tour after tour after tour, and the
immense psychological mental toll it takes emotional toll, and then
they come back with you know, severe PTSD, which if
untreated and undiagnosed and ignored, could potentially be a ticking
(35:38):
time bomb. What say you?
Speaker 3 (35:41):
Yeah, Jeff, But I'm not meaning a correct to Jeff
the Kunerman, who's awesome and you and Mike and Sandy.
But Jeff, here's the thing. Since Trump became president, the
VA has become less bureaucratic. Of course, you know reporting
you got rid of all the red tape and some
of the people there that.
Speaker 5 (35:59):
Needed to be gone.
Speaker 3 (36:00):
And the VA is not always perfect. Yeah, you're gonna
have some of that fall through the crash, Jeff. But
if I'm a betting man, and I hate to say
betting man, but you know, use your little gambling analogy
if I may, that most of these guys had a
chance to get help from the VA. And I'm going
to tell you, Jeff, under Doug Collins, you know, the
new v AH, and even before in the first time,
I forget the gentleman.
Speaker 5 (36:20):
That was the VAH secretary the VA.
Speaker 3 (36:22):
As far as Pittsburgh, I can't say about Boston, Jeff.
When I was living in Boston before I moved out here,
to be my beautiful Nancy. The VA was terrible in Boston,
but that was under Bush Foudy one, you know, Bush
Junior or w excuse me. But now the VA here,
Jeff and Pittsburgh, Oh my god, Jeff, they whenever I
just Jeff. I go in first an appointment at the
clinic of Monroeville, PA, which is kind of like Salem
(36:44):
to Boston where I'm from. There they're incredible. They roll
out the red carpet, Toya, they say thank you for
your service, a lot of it, and I'm like, no,
thank you for taking good care of me. And the
VA here has been exceptional. Jeff's not perfect. Yeah, I'm
bothered the crash, but it's also up to a veteran.
Was responsibility in the.
Speaker 1 (37:02):
Point, No, that's an excellent point. Oh you're right here.
What you're saying is, look, whatever problems there were with
the VA, Trump basically took care of that. And yeah,
you're right, it's also up to the veteran. I mean,
you know, the VA is not all seeing, all knowing.
If you don't tell him you got a problem, or
if you don't ask for help, there's not much the
v A can do for you excellent. Look as always, Dave,
(37:23):
thank you for your service, and thank you for your call.
You're dead on Dave, thank you again, excellent call. But anyway,
I'm just throwing it out there. I mean, I just
felt I had to obligate. I'm just giving you my
initial reactions when I found out the shooter was an
Iraq war veteran served for tours at least according to
his mother, and then came back with you know, severe PTSD,
(37:46):
and his friends and families say he just was never
the same, just wasn't the same. And so I'm like, ugh,
you know, I mean, we send our men off to
war and and they come back and then we just
ignore them and it just festers in festers and festers,
and then something like this happens. So anyway, I just
(38:06):
want to throw that out there. But I think Dave
made a very good argument. The VA is not what
it was before. It's they really are taking care of
a lot of people. They're being very proactive. But you've
got to want to get help. That's the key. If
you don't get help, no one can help you if
you don't want to get help. So let me ask
all of you, do you think mental health had any
(38:31):
role to play in this. I'm just curious. And the
bigger question was this another act of left wing terrorism?
And are we starting to reach a critical point where
I don't know how many more bodies the country can take.
(38:51):
I mean, Trump basically said the same thing. I'm just
going to repeat what he said. It's not that he's
justifying violence, and it's not that I'm justifying violent it's
quite the contrary. Please don't do anything in retaliation. I'm
begging you. But after a while, our side is going
to say, you know, one person on our side is
gonna say, and I'm done with this. That's Trump's fear,
(39:13):
that's my fear. And they're gonna say, Okay, you want
to shoot us up, We're gonna shoot you up. And
the left and the media are gonna go berserk, They're
gonna pounce, and things are just gonna get The country
may start to unravel. I mean, this is the problem. Now,
This cold civil war is becoming hotter and hotter and hotter,
(39:38):
and the Democrats aren't putting on the breaks and the
media is not putting on the breaks. And so my
question to you, is this another act of left wing terrorism?
And if it is, what do we do about it?
And ultimately Trump says this is a war on Christianity?
(40:01):
Do you feel now that Christians have a target on
their back? Six two sixty six sixty eight sixty eight
is the number? Justin in New Hampshire. Thanks for holding
justin and welcome.
Speaker 5 (40:21):
Hey Jeff, how are you doing?
Speaker 3 (40:22):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (40:22):
I believe it's left wing terrorism. You know, where are
you going to find the most right leaning people other
than a rally? Where are they going to be? They're
going to be at church, in their congregation, you know.
And you should have seen the internet going nuts yesterday
saying oh, well with the flags. He has to be
a Trump supporter, has to be, you know, just because
(40:45):
just because somebody feels that they're patriotic in their way,
even if they are a psychopath, you know, doesn't I
just I don't What are we keeping score now?
Speaker 4 (40:55):
Too?
Speaker 5 (40:56):
Also? You know what I mean, what does it really matter?
What is politically means? Where this craptu just needs to stop?
Speaker 4 (41:02):
You know?
Speaker 3 (41:04):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (41:04):
I agree? No, what they're leaving out is yeah, of
course he waives the flag. He served four tours in Iraq.
What they're leaving out is I mean, since they mentioning it.
Speaker 5 (41:16):
He was a.
Speaker 1 (41:16):
Donor to the Democratic Party, a regular donor. He was
a staunch supporter of the Democrats. It's all over his
social media. And he had these signs that had Trump
vance in blue and then the red stop sign like
stop Trump Vance. So he had stop Trump signs all
(41:39):
over his lawn. So he was a clear anti Trump leftist,
there's no question. And you know, and people in Grand
Blank are asking, this is what the local media there
is saying, well, why would he target the Mormon Church?
And everyone is saying, it's obvious that Mormon Church is Yes,
of course they're Christian, but it's their conservative Christians. So
(42:04):
he hit the one area that he knew was probably
you know, filled with as many MAGA supporters as possible.
So and remember this is what they're being fed. You
watch liberal media, whether it's MSNBC, CNN, the nightly news,
it doesn't matter. What you're being told is Trump is hitler.
(42:27):
Trump is a dictator. The dictatorship is now here, and
MAGA people are his supporters, they're his shock, they're the ss,
they're the stormtroopers, they're the ones who are enabling this dictatorship.
And so you know the clear Look, you know, they're
(42:47):
not saying kill them. What they're saying is wink wink,
take them out, wank wank. You know what you gotta do.
The insinuation is clear. So they're dehumanizing us, and they're
inflaming and inciting their people to lash out. And they
(43:11):
know what they're doing. They notice a lot of unhinged,
mentally unstable people in our country. It doesn't take much
to push them off the edge. And that's what they're doing.
And it's I'm telling you, it's only gonna get worse. Look,
here's my prediction. Next twenty four to forty eight hours,
you're gonna see another mass shooting. It's not gonna stop.
(43:35):
It's not gonna stop. And notice where these places are
happening now it's not happening. And I don't know New
York City or Boston or Atlanta or La like areas
with a lot of people. We're talking Orum, Utah, We're
talking Grand Blank Michigan. I mean, if you're not safe
(44:00):
in Grand Blank, Michigan, very rural, low population, out of
the way, you know, an hour north of Detroit. It's
basically a hunting country. That's what it is. It's very rural,
a lot of trees. You know, it's more peaceful, very
laid back Orum. Orm. I've been to Orm, That's where
(44:23):
Ava was born.
Speaker 4 (44:23):
In Orm.
Speaker 1 (44:25):
Provo to be exact, but Orm was right next to Provo.
I mean you don't. You don't get more peaceful or
quiet and safe than Provo and Orm. I mean, if
you're not safe in Orm, I'm telling you you're not safe anywhere.
So the radicalization of the left continues, and my fear
(44:46):
is Justin. It's it's not going to stop. I was
hoping that Charlie Kirk would at least slow them down.
They haven't missed a beat. They haven't missed a beat.
Final word to you, Justin.
Speaker 5 (45:01):
They don't want you to feel safe anywhere. And that's
why everybody needs to carry everywhere, carry everywhere, and God
bless take care, Jeh.
Speaker 1 (45:12):
Thank you very much, Justin. Look, I agree with you.
That's why if you can carry Carrie, because you need
self defense. Now, I do want to throw this log
on the fire as well, and you and I'd love
to get as many of you to weigh in on
this as possible. Look, I want my family safe. I
(45:32):
want to be safe. Yesterday I went to church five
o'clock Mass. There I was with my wife, my children.
But I'll be honest with you, Okay, like I'm in
the confessional. Do I want security there? Yes? Do I
want to feel safe there? Should we be safe? Yes?
(45:53):
But there's something about having a gun inside a church,
inside a place of worship, as they used to call
it a house of God during mass. It rubs me
the wrong way. I'm just being honest with you. Look,
if you have to do it, you have to do it. Please,
(46:14):
don't misunderstand me. You got to put the security in
their lives of people in there first. But I'm just
telling you it's like I'm almost sad. What I'm saying
is I'm almost sad. Is this what it's come to?
Speaker 4 (46:28):
Now?
Speaker 1 (46:28):
We have to bring guns into church to protect people
in church? You know, when I say to you a
place of worship, the last thing you think of is, well, yeah,
bringing a shotgun, you know, or bringing a glock, or
bringing a thirty eight or you know, yeah, you don't
want you figured. That's the one place now we don't
want guns or knives or no weapons of any kind
(46:53):
because it's truly a place of peace, true peace. It's
a place of prayer, it's a place of worship, it's
a place of forgiveness, it's a place of redemption, a
place of love, a place of compassion. You know, you
(47:13):
pray for yourself, You pray for your family, You think
about your your loved ones that you've lost. I always
do anyway, when I go to church, I always pray
for my mother and my father. I'm just going to
give you an example. You know, in the Catholic tradition,
even shake hands to everybody around you. You know, before
you take the host, you take communion, you give everybody
you know, you say peace be with you, Peace be
(47:35):
with you, Peace be with you. So I'm just being
honest with you. The idea of a gun, and again,
if we have to do it, we have to do it.
But the idea of you know, a gun in the church,
it just it's like a sword in the church, or
a knife in the church, or a grenade in whatever.
I don't care, it's just eugh, it rubs me the
(47:56):
wrong way. I'm like, esh, is this is what we
have to do now because our authorities won't protect us.
Because the situation now is so out of control. That
now you don't even have peace in a church. In
a church. And let me just say one last thing.
(48:17):
I got my two and this is why maybe this
issue is so emotional for me. I got my two
children from the Mormons. We went through an adoption agency
that was run by the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter day Saints. Okay, it was a Mormon adoption agency.
It just hop they just happened to be Mormons. And
so they got the adoption for Ashton for US in Minnesota,
(48:41):
and then of course for Ava in Utah. So I've
met a lot of Mormons. I've dealt with Mormons. Now,
you know, do I believe some aspects of their faith? No,
of course not. You know, do I believe Jesus appeared
in the desert. No. But they're good, decent, salt of
the earth people. They are. They don't drink, they don't smoke.
(49:07):
For the most part, they don't fool around. You want
to talk about clean living,
