Speaker 1 (00:00):
Live, lies and more lives. A horrible rumor circulated on
social media and the Internet over the weekend that President
Trump was dead. Did you hear it? Did you believe it?
Or have you become so used to people lying to
you you don't believe anything the news media tells you,
no matter what it is. Has the media destroyed their

(00:23):
own credibility and with it, the American public's willingness to trust.
Six one seven two sixty six sixty eight sixty eight
is the number here six one seven two sixty six
six eight sixty eight. The text number is seven zero
four seven zero. This is Sandy shack In for Jeff
Cooner And just in case you thought I was lying

(00:44):
to you when I told you that Jeff would be
back today, that was the plan. Jeff was in Croatia
with his son, visiting the motherland, the mother country and
those relations he has that are still there. But something
happened on the way home. There was an issue with

(01:06):
a bus stopping very suddenly. I don't know more than
that about what happened. I do know that Jeff was
roughed up in the incident and he needs a little
time to recover. And we are hoping that he will
be back tomorrow and I'm sure he will tell you
all about his experience as soon as he gets in

(01:27):
front of the microphone again, but he needs an extra day.
I was texting with him when he was in the
airport in Paris coming home. It was his birthday yesterday
in case you want to wish him a belated birthday
when he comes back online. And he was not feeling
very good, but he was in Croatia when the accident happened,
or when whatever it was that happened, and you know,

(01:49):
I think he was feeling more secure coming home to
the United States to get a thorough medical going over,
and that's what he's doing. But today I want to
talk to you about the lies, the lies and the
moral lies and what they lead to. And as I
started to tell you before I took that little side

(02:12):
trip to let you know what was going on with Jeff,
rumors about President Donald Trump's health spiraled into a frenzy
on social media on Saturday, leading to some very false
speculation that he, you know, had passed away. And of course,
you know those rumors were all complete and utter bowl belief.

(02:35):
The President is most certainly alive. And in fact, various
media outlets began reporting in response to that media that
he that that rumor that he had been spotted playing
golf in Virginia later in the morning. But online speculation
about the president's health gained traction when social media posts

(02:58):
on Friday night claimed that the president had not been
seen publicly since Tuesday, and the terms hashtag whereas trump
and hashtag Trump dead began trending on Saturday. What basically

(03:18):
happened was that the president took a brief hiatus from
public appearance appearances, and who knew that that was all
it would take to spark morbid theories and social media
posts speculating that he had died. Seriously, he doesn't have
a daily presser and all of a sudden he died.

(03:42):
And add to that the fact that nobody had seen
him for a couple days, that the White House released
a blank schedule with no public events for the president
during Labor Day weekend? Is that so unusual? The guy
who's been busier than any three presidents put together took
the long weekends. But that hiatus sparked, you know, hashtag

(04:04):
Trump is dead and where is Trump? And that was
trending all through Friday night into Saturday morning, and you
know this is so then you get these responses like
waking up to hashtag Trump is dead and hashtag where
is Trump? Has anybody seen JD. Vance? Which is, you know,

(04:26):
the nod to the fact that Vance had been spending
a lot of time around Pope Francis before he died,
and so they were joking that, you know, maybe he
had something to do with it. So that's the kind
of jokes. So people were sort of believing it, maybe
not really believing it, not quite sure if they believed it.

(04:47):
But reports were also fueled by an interview last Wednesday
with USA Today and which Vice President JA D. Vance
said that although Trump was in good health, he JD
Was prepared to take over the role of commander in
chief should a terrible tragedy strike. This is what he said, verbatim. Yes,

(05:09):
terrible tragedies happened, but I feel very confident the President
of the United States is in good shape, is going
to serve out the remainder of his term and do
great things for the American people. And if God forbid,
there's a terrible tragedy, I can't think of better on
the job training than what I've gotten over the last
two hundred days. So that's, you know, all it took,

(05:31):
I guess is the fact that President took a couple
of days off and JD. Vance said, you know, he
was he was in training to take over if he
if he needed to someday. And you know, hashtag Trump
is dead. According to groc, which is Ex's AI powered chatbot,
post speculating about President Trump's possible demise, had acquired over

(05:54):
one point three million user engagements as of Saturday morning.
One point three million people had glide on to that.
Don't forget there were also rumors about President Trump's health
that were started several weeks ago when he was photographed

(06:15):
with bruising on his hand and then he had you know,
swollen ankles a couple of weeks ago. And it all
started when he was at that meeting with French President
Emmanuel mccront the White House last February, and he had
a large bruise on the back of his hand, and
then you know, people various photographers were focusing on showing

(06:38):
photographs of President Trump with the bruising on his hand
and using concealer to hide it. So the White House
eventually released a letter last month from President Trump's physician
stating that the president had been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency,
which is a benign, very common condition, particularly in people

(06:58):
who are over seventy. It's a medical condition in which
the veins and the lower legs have more difficult time
pumping blood and leading to pour blood flow back up
to the heart and leaving the lower legs swollen. But
it's not a big deal. It's a very easily treatable thing.
The letter also said that the bruising on the back

(07:20):
of the President's hands were caused by frequent handshaking and
the use of aspirin, which he takes as part of
a standard cardiovascular prevention regimen, and that stops clotting. So
that's what you see from the bruising. And also the
letter also said, by the way that President Trump had
absolutely no signs of heart failure, renal impairment, or systemic illness.

(07:43):
So all of that was put out there by the
White House. Why would social media jump so fast to
believe this that President Trump was dead? And I think
he got to want it. I think that's the and
the left really wanted it. There's still they're still trying

(08:06):
to deflect from the very serious, very real concerns about
President Biden's health while he was in office, both mental
health and physical health. Remember, you know, he had both
an issue with dementia and uh state cancer which he
was diagnosed with while he was in office, and I'm
pretty sure they kept that from us for a while.

(08:29):
But how does that explain you know, a Trump death
rumor taking flight? You ask, you know, because it happened
really quickly. Well, that cover up of President Biden's health
gave Democrats two options here. One, Democrats wanted to believe
there was a Trump health issue being covered up because

(08:51):
it made their own actions in covering up President Biden's
issues les's egregious. You know, they didn't look so bad
if somebody else was doing it too. And Two, if
you're not a Biden apologist and you remember all the
lies you were told under the Biden administration, didn't it

(09:12):
make it easier for you to believe that the administration
now might be doing the same thing under President Trump?
I mean, isn't isn't that kind of why you this
kind of rumor would take flight? I mean, concerns over
President Biden's health had been raised before uh you know,

(09:34):
he had he walked away from running for a second term.
And and you know, earlier this year, don't forget that,
you know, Alex Thompson from Axios and CNNs Jake Tapper
had revealed that AIDS had hidden the extent of President
Biden's pysical physical decline not only from the public, but

(09:55):
from his cabinet as well. Do you remember that? I
have that cut in case you don't remember that. That's
let's see, that's cut one thirty mic.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
That was just one of three cabinet meetings President Biden
held in twenty twenty three, and in twenty twenty four
the president would hold only one. We spoke with several
cabinet secretaries for the book, and this period of time
is what one of the secretaries called the weird period.
Detailed in a brand new excerpt of my upcoming book
with Axios as Alex Thompson, it says the presidency requires

(10:28):
someone who can perform at two am during an emergency.
Cabinet secretaries and his own administration told us that by
twenty twenty four he could not be relied upon.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
For this, so they were hiding stuff from the cabinet.
That's what we've dealt with for the past four years,
and we were pretty sure they were hiding stuff. So
I mean, at the time when President Biden was in office,
many people on the Internet were waiving these red flags
and they were dismissed as conspiracy arsts trying to undermine

(11:01):
the Democratic Party. And then it turned out, in fact,
there was cause for concern about President Biden's health. So
you know, the internet gossip about President Trump's health may
have been spurred as a desire for this to be
the equivalent. On the other side, the live President Trump
was dead went around the world this weekend, basically because

(11:22):
he took the weekend off. Did you hear it? Did
you believe it? I heard it, but I paid no
attention to it. Why would people believe such a rumor?
Is it because we've been lied to so much in
the past four years over specifically among other well among

(11:42):
many things, but President Biden's condition, so that that makes
any rumor regarding a president, you know, plausible at this point.
And add to that, I think that Democrats want there
to be something wrong with President Trump. You see this
all the time, and things they say here. I want

(12:02):
you to hear. This is Maxine Waters. She's the Congresswoman
Maxine Waters, who is, to be honest with you, I
think she's a nut, but to each their own. She
wants to use the twenty fifth Amendment to find out
what's wrong with Trump and his fitness for office. Cut
number twenty eight. Please, Mike, I want even though I

(12:26):
know it may not happen.

Speaker 3 (12:28):
The cabinet that he's appointed a bunch of his sycophants
who probably won't do what I would recommend. It is
time to call for Article twenty five of the Constitution
of the United States of America to determine his unfitness,
to determine that something's wrong with this president, and I

(12:52):
would suggest that we move very aggressively to talk about
the danger to this country and to our democracy and
not play around with this, because this is absolutely one
of the most destructive things that this president could do.

Speaker 1 (13:08):
Do you know what I mean about wanting it? She
wants there to be something. I don't remember her ever
calling for the twenty fifth Amendment and President Biden was
in office, who we now know actually did suffer from
a mental acuity issue. Governor Pritzker Illinois governor who is
really upset about the idea that President Trump might bring
law enforcement to Illinois thinks there's something wrong with President Trump.

(13:34):
Cut one twenty nine, please Mike.

Speaker 4 (13:38):
Earlier today in the Oval Office, Donald Trump looked at
the assembled cameras and asked for me personally to say,
mister President, can you do us the honor of protecting
our city? Instead, I say, mister President, do not come
to Chicago. You are neither wanted here nor needed here.

(14:05):
Your remarks about this effort over the last several weeks
have betrayed a continuing slip in your mental faculties and
are not fit for the auspicious office that you occupy.
Most alarming, you seem to lack any appropriate concern, as
our commander in chief for the members of the military

(14:26):
that you would so callously deploy as pawns in your
ever more alarming grabs for power.

Speaker 1 (14:34):
Wow. Wow, continuing slip and mental faculties. See they want it,
They want this to happen. On the text line seven
zero four seven zero five O eight, says Pritz Grive
Illinois is the highest profile elected dem who bought into
the rumor, insisting on X that the President provide proof
he is still alive. Yeah, this is what they do.

(14:57):
This is what they do. So I want to know
for me, did you hear the rumor? Did you believe it?
Do you believe anything the media says anymore? Also on
the text line seven zero four seven zero six one seven,
says Sandy, I used to believe that we had landed
on the moon. Now I don't believe there is a moon.
We have lost social trust and it's being replaced by

(15:18):
tribal trust, suboptimal. And five oh eight says Sandy. I
see the insanity of the left, and I'm happy this
White's house, this white House doesn't leak. Yeah, I know
what you're saying. I didn't believe the rumor, but then
I don't believe anything I see on social media or
in legacy media for that matter of fact. Do you

(15:40):
Russ from Boston? Welcome to WRKO. How are you, Russ?

Speaker 5 (15:46):
Oh? I hope you had a good weekend.

Speaker 1 (15:47):
I did, sir. How about you?

Speaker 5 (15:49):
Good? Good, wonderful, wonderful. I spend a time with family
and friends, and that's always the best thing to do.
First of all, are Sandy without a shadow of a
doubt The left stream media is the enemy within, and
it's the enemy within. It's the enemy within, it's the
enemy within. When it comes to the media, do not trust.
Do your own research, come up with your own conclusions

(16:10):
in your own analysis. Never trust them. And I will
never forget as a Vietnam VET what they did to us.
The misleading had a job that they did in us
to this day, the truth has never been really told.
And as far as Maxine Waters is concerned, she's an
ignorant dampool. She's the poster girl for Notifornia voter ignorance.

(16:33):
That's what she represents every time she comes out of
what comes out of her mouth. If you ever any
doubt house stupid that she is, just listen to gobblege
that comes out of her mouth. Okay, and you know,
I'll tell you if someone that's prior military when I
think of that other dead jerk, the senator from from California,
and I believe it was a colonel that went up

(16:55):
in front of her and he referred to her as
ma'am and she jumped all over him. A United States Canada,
you're not refreending to me as ma'am. Not understanding that
all of us as servant. The military always refer to
a woman as ma'am. Okay, and she flipped out because
she's stupid, okay. And the stupid is the stupid ignorant
people are both for these damn polls. And I'm sick

(17:16):
and tired of it. And the Democratic Party has become
the enemy within, and the Communists are controlling the Democratic Party.
And if you look in New York City, we'll see
if the stupid people in New York are dumb enough
to vote for Communist for mayl Russ.

Speaker 1 (17:32):
Did you hear the rumor over the weekend about President Trump.

Speaker 5 (17:36):
Yes, Sandy, I read it to me. It was just
a bunch of bs, especially since the scumbags in the
media and the rotten Solb's and the Democratic Party Covin
for that weasel. I remember one thing about Joe Biden.
He was a fifty year hack, that's all he was, okay,
And he was basically a reject. He was rejected so

(17:58):
many times. Okay, then boy, they ended up with the
bottom of the barrel. But I will save this, Sandy,
and I'll say this with all sincerity. You know, the
run Democratic Party who loves to use the race card.
They oh that's that's always their race in the hole.
Use the race card, okay, else use the fact that
Democrats are going to take away your socialcurity. That's another

(18:18):
stupidity that they pull all the time. Well, you know what,
the race card backfired on them. And you know why
the race card backfired on them because they were put
in a tough position after they realized Biden had to go.
They would have been crucified if they bypassed Kamala Harris.
They had no choice. Okay, So you know what, the

(18:39):
race card find me back by it on them. And
I was so happy to see that all all of
the race race craft that they caused in the in
the trouble in this country. Okay, the Democratic Party is
in the sandy. I'm telling you what my concern is.
I live here in Massachusetts. Okay, the majority of voters
here will remain stupid and they will vote for the Democrats.

(18:59):
I don't get, but m who they put up. They
were there for one after another.

Speaker 1 (19:04):
Well, Russ, is it stupid or is it gullible? I mean,
I don't think you. I think the two. It's a
very fine line between the two of those things. I mean,
you can be naive and gullible. I'm not stupid, but
I think in this case, maybe the people who believed
the rumor were maybe maybe both, Maybe they were gullible

(19:24):
and stupid. A scurrelous rumor, as Sandy Shack by the way,
sitting in for Jeff, who we're hoping, fingers crossed, will
be back tomorrow. A little issue when he was coming
back from Croatia with a bus. I'll say no more,
but are we expecting back tomorrow? But there's a scurrilous
rumor that circulated over the weekend because President Trump was
not seen for a couple of days, and he took

(19:45):
the long weekend off. His office put out a schedule
that showed no official engagements. So people took that out
as evidence that he was dead. Seriously, that's what they thought.
How about its evidence that he's been working hard and
needs a couple days to relax, play a little golf.

(20:06):
But I think the lies of the Biden administration made
anything possible. Now, you know, did this rumor gain hold
because we don't trust the government or the media anymore.
On the text line, which is seven zero four seven
zero seven eight one, says Sandy, here we are with

(20:26):
yet another case of pure projection from the Democrats. It's
almost like this is what wakes them up in the morning.
My better judgment says that a very small percentage of
those million people on social media actually believed it. I
imagine a high percentage. We're just trolling and projecting per usual.
But here's the thing. They are projecting two things this time,
the seriousness of Biden's health while he was in office,

(20:48):
and two the fact that they actually would love for
Trump being dead to be true. Both of these are
sick and twisted. This country needs another wake up call. Yeah,
I think we do need another wake up call. And
I think what you said is absolutely right. The Biden
administration killed trust in the government, and the media that

(21:09):
protected him killed trust in them as well. So I'm
going to make that the pole question for today. The
Pole Question is sponsored by Mario's Roofing Quality, Roofing, Siding
and Windows. Or you can take the Pole question at
the Kuner Report on x or you can go to
WRKO slash Kooner to take the to take the Pole question,

(21:31):
and the pole question is who do you trust more?
The government? A b media, how at C Neither You
don't trust anybody anymore. How do you feel about the government,
the media or both of them are out as far
as you are concerned, because I think what happened during
the Biden administration has killed trust period. I think it's

(21:53):
killed it in the media. I think it's killed it
in the government, even though this is a different government
that was that was here four years ago. I think
there's a residual distrust of government now. I think the
Trump administration can try to maybe win that back, and
I think that's part of the reason why President Trump
has the press in his office every single day except

(22:15):
for the last three days when they thought he was dead. Basically,
I think to rebuild trust, to show transparency, and to
rebuild trust. But I think that's a long road because
I think it was pretty much destroyed during the Biden administration.
What do you think about that. Let's go to Mark
in Madford. Mark, Welcome to WRKO.

Speaker 5 (22:35):
How are you sir, Good morning, Sandy.

Speaker 6 (22:39):
How are you doing today?

Speaker 1 (22:40):
I'm doing fine.

Speaker 7 (22:41):
Mark.

Speaker 1 (22:41):
Do you trust anything the media tells you anymore, or
the government for that.

Speaker 5 (22:44):
Matter, No, I don't trust either.

Speaker 6 (22:46):
One number one, number two. Yes, Maxine Waters is certified.
She is a nutjob. Okay, first of all, it's not
audicle twenty five, it's Amendment twenty five. So maybe she
should look in the mirror obviously, and who's fit and
who's not?

Speaker 8 (23:02):
Number three?

Speaker 6 (23:03):
Uh As, as you know, President Trump took a weekend
off they got him dead.

Speaker 5 (23:09):
So if that's the case, then.

Speaker 6 (23:11):
Joe Biden was dead from the day he took office.

Speaker 1 (23:15):
Well, that may be why they rolled him over to
the beach every other weekend so we could see him
out of the chair.

Speaker 9 (23:19):
You knowing.

Speaker 6 (23:21):
It was like a dead fish rotting in the sun
on the beach. And you can, you can, and you
can smell the stinge of the corrupt and that's coming
off his body. Let me seriously, I mean, Sandy, the
media and the government. No, I do not trust either
one of them.

Speaker 1 (23:38):
Did you trust him before, President Button? I was curious.

Speaker 5 (23:42):
No, absolutely no, You've.

Speaker 1 (23:44):
Never trusted So the Biden administration really didn't change your
your your trust level. You didn't. You didn't trust him
before and you still don't trust him.

Speaker 6 (23:52):
Since I since I understood what politics was all about, Sandy,
I realized there's way too much government and you can't
trust more than that.

Speaker 1 (24:00):
Yeah, did you hear the rumor over the weekend.

Speaker 10 (24:04):
I did.

Speaker 6 (24:04):
I laughed, Yeah, I laughed. I said, first of all,
if Trump died, this would be plastered all over the news. Okay,
so don't give me the crap. Everybody thinks, allless, it's
on the internet, it must be true. Okay, you keep
telling itself fat Yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
No, I know, well, to be fair, to be fair,
and Mike is a big you know x user is
a big person on social media for postings and so forth.
And I will be honest. Social media does get the
jump on a lot of major news stories. So it
would not be surprising to see posts maybe ten ten

(24:39):
minutes ahead, five ten minutes ahead of breaking on legacy
media or even cable news media, but within half an
hour they usually catch up if it's true. So I
can see that social media would might get you know,
literally like a five minute lead time that happens, but
not more than that because the first thing, don't you think?

(25:02):
And I see it in the newsrooms that I've worked in,
they have social media screens and they're monitoring social media
all the time, and when there's a story that, if
it's true, could be a big story, they immediately respond
to it to discern whether it's true or not. So
usually the outlets are the decent outlets are within minutes
of a real news story breaking on. So I can

(25:24):
see where people would think, oh my gosh, is that
true for a second, and then if you don't hear
anything more within five or ten minutes, you know it is. Basically,
that's a general rule of thumb. I usually check everything
out just because I don't trust anybody anymore. But that's
but I had pretty much the same response that you did. Mark.
I started to laugh out loud a lot. Thank you

(25:47):
for the call. I appreciate it very much. Let's go
to Dave in Pennsylvania. Dave, welcome to WRKO. Did you
hear the rumor over the weekend?

Speaker 5 (25:57):
You say, did?

Speaker 9 (25:58):
I'm like to add to Russian's called You know, I'm
a veteran too, because you know, I don't believe anything
in the media says. You know, Sandy and the left once
President Trump did, they've already tried to kill him up
this way in Butler, PA.

Speaker 10 (26:11):
And then once at his golf course in Florida, and
guess what they missed. And that goes to show you,
just like with their biases they miss on Trump, even
in the media and in the editorial.

Speaker 9 (26:21):
Sections of the papers, you know, I mean the New
York Times can't help but write their main pages that
they hate the guy, you know, which is not news.
It's all fake news. Hence the fake news.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
Yeah it is. I think a lot of it is
fake news. Now did you trust what you heard in
the news or from the government before President Biden or
has that? Did you maybe trust one or the other
but not both? And now you don't trust anybody? What's
the combination there for you?

Speaker 9 (26:50):
Dave Well Sandy going back to the second Bush administration,
you know, opted by the name of Bernard Goldberg used
to work.

Speaker 5 (26:57):
At CBS News.

Speaker 9 (26:58):
Yea, he wrote book called Bias and I read that
and then that and along with other events in my
personal life that happened over a season iraq. Both times,
I don't trust the media as far as I the
CHROME know, the CIA or any of the three. Let
it alphabet soup and now just real quick, Happy birthday
to Jeff and I hope he's recovering well. And you're
doing a great job standing.

Speaker 1 (27:19):
Thank you so much. I appreciate it very much, Dave,
thank you, Thank you for the call. Six one seven
two six six sixty eight sixty eight is the number
here six one seven two sixty six sixty eight sixty eight.
If you want to get on board. When you hear
a call drop off, that means a line has opened
up for you.

Speaker 7 (27:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (27:35):
President Trump weighed in pretty quickly after the rumor started
getting hold on Saturday morning, and even when he went
to play golf, which some of the media covered so
they could say, no, he's right there, I can see
him right in front of me. But he was. He
was spotted golfing at of Course in Virginia, but did

(27:57):
not comment publicly until Sunday afternoon, and he put a
post up on True Social and replying to another user,
writing in the response box, he said, never felt better
in my life. Also, DC is a crime for his zone,
President DJT. This is one of the things that always
cracks me up by President Trump. No matter what it

(28:19):
is he's doing, he will find a way to get
his message out there about whatever it is that he
wants to get out there, in which case, you know,
crime and fighting crime. He also shared the link to
the message from the user at d C draino that's
the caller or the poster that he responded to to
which he was replying accusing the media of a comical

(28:40):
double standard in coverage. He said, Joe Biden would go
multiple days at a time without any public appearances, and
the media would say he's sharp and on top of
his game, and it said, meanwhile, he was this is
this is the user Trump was replying to. This is
what the guy said. Respond responded to that meanwhile he

(29:04):
was wearing diapers and napping. And then the guy also
said President Trump puts in more public work hours in
any other potis in US history, and media freaks out
if he disappears for twenty four hours. I think that's
an accurate an accurate description of what's been going on there.
Uh So, do you believe what you see on social media?

(29:27):
Do you believe what you see in the news, And
do you believe what your government tells you? Because I don't.
I used to, but then I used to be more
naive than I am.

Speaker 9 (29:39):
Now.

Speaker 1 (29:40):
The duplicitousness of the last administration wiped out any trust
that I had left in the media. And I'm trying
to keep an open mind in regard to the government
because it's a different government in there now, but it's
hard for me to get past the my suspicion. This

(30:02):
is Sandy Shack sitting in on the Kooner Report for
Jeff Kooner, who is recovering from his vacation. He will
be back tomorrow. He had to come back a day late.
He'll explain it all to you when he comes in tomorrow.
The text number is seven zero four seven to zero
five oh eight. On the text line says, the panic
conflated with the Biden regime destroyed all trust in government

(30:25):
and media. For me, I now question a lot of
what has gone before. What are truly what they are
truly doing to us, and what they have been doing
to us all these years. Everything is tainted. The Dems
have no one to blame for this falling away. Yeah,
I don't disagree with it, you said. I think that
has a lot to do with it. I think the
fact that we relied to so thoroughly during the Biden

(30:48):
administration destroyed whatever trust that you may have had left
in either the government or the media that covered up
for them. I trust either at this point, and I
think that mistrust is what made it possible for people
to believe or rumor over the weekend that President Trump
was dead. Add to that that the Democrats wanted it

(31:11):
to be true for a couple of reasons. One, it
covered their own guilt in regard to lying about Biden,
because if Trump administration did it too, then it wasn't
so bad. And Two, I think they wanted it to
be true because they really hate him that much. But
I think mistrust is growing across the country and in

(31:32):
both the media and the government. And I don't mean
that I think the Trump administration is not forthcoming. The
president opens the Oval Office to the press and public
almost every single day, as opposed to the Biden administration,
where President Biden would disappear for weeks, sometimes months on end.

(31:54):
What I mean about getting worse is that we keep
finding out more and more more lies that were told
to us by the Biden Whitehouse. That's astonishing to me.
I mean, the guy left office seven eight months ago
and we're nine months ago now and we were still

(32:18):
finding stuff out. That to me is one of the
big issues. And this was brought home to me. I
was watching I was watching cable News and Congressman James Comer,
who's the chairman of the House Oversight Committee was on
Sunday Morning Futures. I think it was a guest house.

(32:40):
Maria Bartiromo was an on and they were discussing I
think it was host Jackie Dangelis, and they were discussing
President Biden's mental fitness while he was in office. And
Comer said that he was going to be calling Biden's
spokesman Coarine Jean Pierre, the chief of staff Jeff Zience,
and deputy assistant Andrew Bay to testify regarding the autopen

(33:04):
scandal because from what they've heard so far, according to
Congressman Comer, is that you know, these key figures are
taking the fifth because they're the ones who day after
day said the bidy was totally fit and ready to
do the job, and they're now saying they didn't really

(33:24):
spend much time with him. So were they lying? You
can and and he raises an interesting question Cut thirty one, please, Mike.

Speaker 11 (33:35):
We're trying to get to the bottom of who was
operating the autopin and we've brought in a dozen people
so far, and they're all pointing the fingers at other people,
the ones that I think may have a little more knowledge.
They played the fifth to avoid self incrimination. So I
think what you're going to see is unless they, unless
Jean Pierre and some of these others come in and

(33:57):
you know, tell us more. It's becoming very parent that
Joe Biden really wasn't the one in command at the
end of his presidency. And that's important because you're talking
about thousands of pardons and dozens of executive orders that
were signed with that autopen uh, and it appears without
President Biden's knowledge.

Speaker 1 (34:16):
Wow, if Joe Biden was not in command, then who was?
Do you see what I mean about mistrust growing? Who
was in charge of the country for four years? And
it all comes down at the moment to the autopen
trust is just being further eroded, not by President Trump,

(34:36):
but by residual Biden issues, Biden discoveries. Who do you trust?
Is it? I think is a good question on the
text line six O three says I trust my mom. Yeah,
I trusted my mom too. Is there anybody that you
trust besides your mom anymore? Because for me, it's hard,

(34:57):
it's hard to uh, it's hard to pick those people out. Now,
let's go to Dan in Sudbury. Dan, Welcome to w
RKO how are you.

Speaker 8 (35:07):
Good morning, Sandy. How are you doing.

Speaker 1 (35:09):
I'm doing fine, thank you. So do you trust anybody anymore?

Speaker 8 (35:14):
I have to do research and back it up with
my own research, But no, I don't. I don't just
take everything blindly. But I'd like to comment on the
fact that the Democratic Party has sunk to the level
of running with statements, blogs, text postings from long roles,

(35:44):
people who say they're organizations, but they're one person living
in their parents' basement and making comments, and then they
run with that without really if it suits their narrative,
if it suits what they're doing. And that's why there's
they really a lack of trust in the Democrats and

(36:04):
they're losing support.

Speaker 1 (36:07):
Yeah, I think that's a big part of why they're
losing support. Dan is exactly that is that you know
they've burned their credibility, and so no matter what they say,
they could be right about half. I don't think they are.
I think they lie through their teeth. But they could
be right and be telling the truth about half the time.
But you don't even believe what they're telling the truth

(36:27):
about anymore because they've lied so much.

Speaker 9 (36:31):
The truth.

Speaker 8 (36:32):
I'm sorry if they do tell the truth.

Speaker 1 (36:36):
Yeah exactly. I'm not sure that they do. I'm sure
there are individuals who do. I mean, there are honest
people even among the Democratic Party, but we just don't
hear from them. The ones that take the limelight they
get out there are the ones like you know, Maxine
Waters and JB. Pritzker who are out there lying through
their teeth and basically just you know, casting these horrible

(36:59):
accuss without anything to back it up. I mean, and
we've seen this time and time again, and I thought
that maybe it would. I'm naive, I admit I am
very naive in many instances. I thought it might get better.
Dan when President Trump got into office, meeting they would,
they would get their act together so they could put
somebody up in four years who had a fighting chance

(37:22):
of winning. And maybe they will. But I haven't seen
it so far. I just see more of the same,
more of the same prevarication. More. You know, they basically
pee on us and tell us it's raining almost every
single day, and it's like, but the problem is, we
see it now. Even even hardcore Democrats see it now

(37:43):
and are like, what stop, You're destroying the party. James
Carville came out and told his party and he's about
as nutty as supporter as you can get when it
comes to the Democratic Party, and told him to stop,
just stop it, and you need to get a grip,
remember Kamala Harri. And they don't have a leader, so
they're leaderless there lying through their teeth, Dan, is is
what's happened. But I think that their bad behavior has

(38:08):
eroded not just trust in them, but also eroded trust
in the media, eroded trust in the government, eroded trust period.
I think they have a lot to answer for. What
do you say, Yeah, yeah, I agree. They don't have
anybody to blame but themselves. It has been, it has been. Uh,

(38:29):
they wrought this. They brought this on themselves. But the
problem is, I think they brought it on us too.
They brought it on everybody. Thank you so much for
the call, Dan, I appreciate it. The number here is
six one seven two sixty six sixty eight sixty eight
six one seven two sixty six six six eight six eight.
You would have thought that the Democrats had learned their
lesson about trying to deceive the American people, But you know,

(38:53):
I think the learning curve is is kind of flat
and I'm talking about the media too. I would think
that the media learned after they were exposed covering up
for Joe Biden. You know, Jake Tapper had when he
wrote his book, had to go on a mea culprilt
tour tour basically saying, you know, yes, I'm sorry. I
apologized to Lara Trump. I shouldn't have, you know, bashed

(39:16):
on her when she said that President Biden had an
issue because he did have an issue, and so forth
and so on. And they still haven't learned. They still
lie through their teeth and they still try to direct
Americans through obfuscation. They tried to direct America's support, and

(39:39):
I would have thought that they learned that they were
ineffective doing that. I mean, look at the ratings at MSNBC,
which is a main purveyor of misinformation, and CNN too,
and case in point CBS. You would not believe what
CBS did over the weekend. And I'm sorry, but you know,

(40:01):
didn't they just pay sixteen million dollars to the President
Trump Library because they edited Kamala Harris's interview to help
her win the presidential campaign and got caught out for it.
And that was called you know election tampering. Didn't they
just pay sixteen million. Do you think that they learned

(40:22):
anything from that from being caught out doing that? They didn't,
because you would not believe what they did. This weekend,
Secretary of Homeland Security Christy Nome appeared on CBS's Face Nation,
and they did a shameless edit of her statement about

(40:44):
the illegal alien kilmar Abrego Garcia. Now, I'm going to
play for you what they aired. This is what aired
on CBS when she was asked regarding regarding Garcia. This
is what they put out there. Cut number one, please Mike.

Speaker 12 (41:07):
And the one thing that we will continue to do
is to make sure that he doesn't walk free in
the United States of America.

Speaker 1 (41:14):
That's it. We're going to make sure this guy does
not walk free in the United States of America. That's
not all she said. That was the first part of
what she said. There was a lot more to it,
and they edited her explanation of why she was saying

(41:35):
that out of her response. Here is what they took
out of her response, Cut number one A please Mike.

Speaker 12 (41:46):
This individual was a known human smuggler MS thirteen gang member,
an individual who was a wife beater and someone who
was so perverted that he solicited nude photos from minors,
and even his fellow human traffickers told him to knock
it off. He was so sick in what he was
doing and how he was treating small children. So he

(42:07):
needs to never be in the United States of America,
and our administration is making sure we're doing all that
we can to bring him to justice.

Speaker 1 (42:15):
Wow. That's a little bit of a different response, don't
you think. Hmm. Now. Christy nom put up a post
in her official X count on Sunday after the interview,
and she shared with everybody the video that cut twenty
six seconds from her answer. She gave the answer they gave,

(42:37):
and she gave the answer as it was in reality,
and this is what she wrote. She wrote, this morning,
I joined CBS to report the facts about Kilmar Arbrego Garcia. Instead,
CBS shamefully edited the interview to whitewash the truth about
this MS thirteen gang member and the threat he poses

(42:59):
to america public safety. And then the clips shared. The
clip that she put up on X had the two
cuts back to back showing what she did. I Wow,
did you think that maybe gnomes full answer? There was
important I think it is. I think cutting it out

(43:20):
was fraud, you know, And I suspect that what we're
going to hear from CBS is that they're going to
claim that, well, you know, all interviews are edited for time,
and that only unimportant information is cut. Did you think
that that information that she shared after saying he won't

(43:41):
walk free is unimportant? Did you view that as unimportant?
I think they're also going to claim that political bias
is not part of their editing decisions. But I think
that's demonstrably false, don't you What face the nation did
here was to basically hide an important issue. And this

(44:06):
is just a It's just one of many instances where
the Trump administer Trump administration has been misrepresented by CBS.
This is an important case, the the the Garcia case.
It's just one of a lot where Trump is trying
to move a legal aliens out of the country, which

(44:27):
the left and the legacy media are pulling out all
the stops to halt any any repatriation. And I can't
say the word any repatriation or that's not right repatriation.
There you go, that can be done. CBS in this instance,
was depriving its viewers of critical information, namely that kilmar

(44:52):
Arbrigo Garcia is a criminal, a serious criminal. He's a thug,
he's a pervert going after a little kids, he's a
wife beater. And this is all in addition to being
an illegal alien. And any honest news organization would present
all the information so their viewers could make an informed decision.
But they didn't. Why because I don't believe they are

(45:15):
an honest news organization one and two they are. They
have an interest here in making sure you feel sorry
for Maryland man Garcia. They want you to to fight repatriotation, Ah, repatriation.

(45:35):
Why because it doesn't help the Democrats, and that's what
they're all about, Even after a sixteen million dollar award
to the Trump Library for doing the same kind of crap,
only in a more positive fashion for Vice President Harris.
You know, are you surprised at CBS's decision to alter

(46:00):
t nomes interview? I mean, does that does that surprise
you at all? To be honest with you, it did me.
Even though I don't trust CBS. It did meet. Why
because I just paid sixty million dollars for doing that
exact same thing. Do you even watch CBS anymore? I mean,
have you lost that much faith with them? The number
here is six one seven two sixty six sixty eight

(46:21):
sixty eight. Six one seven two six sixty eight sixty eight.
Let's go to Dan in New Hampshire. Dan, welcome to WRKO.
How are you Dan?

Speaker 7 (46:30):
I'm doing well. How about yourself?

Speaker 1 (46:32):
I am doing fine. So do you still have any
trust left in the media? And are you surprised at
CBS did this to Christy Nome.

Speaker 7 (46:40):
Absolutely no trust in the media. They've lost it. They've
lied for years, they've had cover ups, they've had coups,
they're you know, colluding with big money and big government.
I believe that really no one should have complete faith
in the government, this particular administration. I like it. Trump's

(47:04):
following through. He's doing what he said he's going to do.
He's got a ton of accomplishments. I hope he wins
the Nobel Peace Prize. You can have faith in a
man that shows you what he's doing. Biden, I mean,
quite honestly, sleeping, stumbling, fumbling, mumbling, losing his way. People

(47:26):
trying to find him and put him straight and get
him off the stage. Biden was lying about international affairs,
his business dealings, he was lying about the connections that
he had within his own government as far as conspiracy,
lying trying to undermine a former president. The lies is

(47:49):
just continuous, continuous, continuous. I mean, when you look at
a situation where we almost lost this country and you
hear the words transformation of America, what you heard from
Obama and you heard it through Biden, and then they
roll out candidates like Kamala Harris and Sleepy Joe. How

(48:11):
do we have faith in those type people that can't
even I mean, at this point, they don't even have
a leader. I mean, Gavin Newsom burn him down. Gavin
Newsom burned half of California because you didn't have any
water to put the fires out. He wants to be
president potentially. These people have lost their direction. They've lost

(48:34):
the direction of the people. They've lost the direction of
what the country is and where we should go. And
quite honestly, we almost lost this entire situation where we
were free. We were you know, people that you know
our constitution is built upon. And quite honestly, I'm so

(48:56):
happy that that Donald Trump is in. If anybody I
trust that it would be him. But if anything that
I've learned through Biden. Never trust the government. Trust some
of the administration by their performance and only by performance.
You know, let's face it, when you start saying boys
can have babies, boys can run in girls events, and

(49:20):
all of these crazy things that everybody's witnessed, and then
let's not talk about not being able to go to
the beaches, not being able to have a haircut, COVID,
you know, the lockdown. I mean, I'm so weary of
all of this. It's refreshing to have a man like Trump.

Speaker 1 (49:38):
Yeah, I think a lot of people. A lot of
people feel that way. Did you see the rumor over
the weekend about President Trump being dead?

Speaker 7 (49:47):
Well, my daughter called me up and said, I think
Trump's dead.

Speaker 1 (49:51):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 7 (49:53):
I said, well, I'll tell you what, watching the news
right now, if he were dead, it would be nothing
but that you'd never find a word in edgeways anywhere,
and it would get completely a blitzkrig over the whole
complete medior meccha. So you don't believe any of that

(50:18):
type of stuff, because, let's face it, they tried to
get us on rumors. They tried to get us on pretense.
They tried to get us on every single thing that
could be lied about, and quite honestly, Sandra, I'm tired
of being lied to everyone in the country. You me.
My peace of mind was destroyed with Biden. Who thought,

(50:41):
I mean Jesus, I thought we were going to get
into a war at every turn. It was just so unsettling,
it really was. And it's at this point I feel refreshed,
I feel confident, I feel secure. I feel that the
country's secure. I have never been happier and more content

(51:05):
and had a better frame a peace of mind than
I do right now.

Speaker 1 (51:08):
Well, here's a question for you, Dan, Your daughter believed it.
Does your daughter like Trump?

Speaker 7 (51:15):
Afraid to lose them?

Speaker 1 (51:17):
So she doesn't? So she does like Trump? So yeah,
So it's not just It wasn't just Democrats who wanted
it to be true who fell for it. It's also
Republicans who are afraid that it was true. Why because
they don't trust I think their trust was eroded too.
Thank you for the call, Dan, I appreciate it very much.
The number here is six one seven two, six sixty

(51:39):
eight sixty eight. When a caller drops off, it means
a line has opened it for you.
