(02:10):
let's go right back to Dave in New Hampshire. So
disabled veteran was out of work. By the grace of God,
there go many of us. His wife was working but
wasn't making that much money or enough money. They needed help.
They needed food stamps snap, and they went to the
Department of Transitional Assistants. Please Dave pick up where we
(02:34):
left off.
Speaker 4 (02:36):
Okay, So, yeah, my wife wasn't making much money. I
was out of work. Luckily it wasn't for that long
of a time, but I mean, we barely had enough
for the rents, never mind anything else. We went to
the TOBAMAA Transitional Assistance and Salem, mass and they originally
gave us They give us sixteen dollars a month, and
you can imagine how little that gets you a month,
and the second the first month they gave it to us.
The second month they did. And then they sent a
(02:56):
letter saying that I made too much money the year
before four but this is now April and May of
the new year, and I haven't made like any money
now in over three months, so I don't know what
that had to do with it. And they cut us
off completely. And then we went to a couple of
food banks. And I don't want to blame all food
banks because I'm sure there are good ones, but two
that we went to one and Salem one in PVD.
(03:17):
We went through, picked a few things, you know, a
couple of bags or the stuff, and at the end
they said, oh, you knew, we have to ask yous
and questions, you know, income, blah blah blah. And then
they asked us how many children do you have? I said, well,
we don't have any children. We never did. And they
said Oh, well, then you can't come here anymore apparently,
because after eighteen years old, you don't eat any longer.
So all these people, like I said, these illegals, they
get everything handed to them. I've never asked for a
(03:40):
dime of anybody. I collected unemployment one time when I
first came out of the army because you could. And
and I just I've had it with always, like is
that sixty percent? And there are legals on there and
they get two grand a month, and so like you know,
how many people I know they are elderly or veterans,
And like I said, it was sixteen back then. Now
it's twenty two dollars a month that they've given him.
(04:01):
What are you going to get with that? You know?
And I just I don't understand it, And I don't
think they should get rid of the filibuster. And I
agree with that. I think it was Dan who said
Trump needs to address the nation because so many people
do not know. They just know what ABC, NBC, so
forth down on the line tells them on TV. And
the Trump needs to get this information out, like you said,
(04:24):
exactly why the government is shut down and doing and
you know, weaponizing hunger like I said, how many veterans
are out there? How many elderly people that don't have anything.
I have a seventy year old neighbor, you know, next door.
She has a very fixed income, and I already told
her tomorrow I'm gonna take her with me and we're
gonna go to the market basket and I'm gonna buy
(04:44):
her a couple hundred dollars worth of groceries. I can't
help everyone, but I can help one.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
Oh God, bless you, Dave, seriously, God bless you, Dave. Look,
that's sixteen dollars. I know now it's twenty two. But
when you went that's sixteen dollars. That's an insult. I'm
not sure to rale you up. I'm just being honest.
That's a slap in the face. That's a spit in
the face. That's pooh here, that's what it is. I'm sorry, Dave.
(05:10):
If you don't mind me asking, and if I'm getting personal,
please tell me. I promise I won't be offended. When
you went to the food banks and they said, no,
that's it. You know, here's your two groceries and don't
come back, or when you went to the department of
Transitional Assistance. Did you tell them you're a veteran? Did
they know you were a veteran? Like did you say,
(05:32):
you know, hey, I served my country, you know, I
put my life on the line for all of you.
Like did they know that? Did you tell.
Speaker 4 (05:39):
Them I did? But they don't care about that. At
the Department of Transitional Assistance, there wasn't a single person
in there. And there was a lot of people in there.
We had to wait a while. There was not a
single person in there. This spoke English, including the people
working there, you know, Bailey, and they didn't care. I
mean the people that were in there were pretty much
the people that are the same ones. They are all
(06:00):
collecting and now and they're just giving it to their
They have people. They don't care about us, the Americans,
you know. Like I said, I mean, I have a
good job now and because of you know, your advice
called maskav, I got things really rolling there. Things are
going well now. But I've been too bad times and
I know many have and we don't get the help
that we need. But they getting Like I said, I mean,
(06:22):
how many how much does it add up to a month?
Like with Heally down there, they got to live in
New Hampshire. Nolly, I'm frumbling, But how much does it
add up to with the hotels, the three meals a day,
the uber rides, the phones, you know, and and I'm
getting they give me and my life for two people
sixteen dollars them and then cut it off after two
months because I made too much money of the year before.
(06:43):
These people have been getting there for twenty years, some
of them. Then their kids are getting it ran kids.
It's unbelievable, Jeff. You know, I just and up in
New Hampshire. You know, we have a different rights, you know,
like when you know, when it comes down to firearms
and stuff. And I hope these stupid idiots don't try
to start taking bags from people in the pocket lots
up in the airshipt because that's when bad things are
gonna happen, you know, you know what I mean. I
(07:06):
just and you you know I would, I would be
careful on buying stuff for people because it's gonna be
a lot of scammers, if not only people gonna You're right, Dave,
You're right.
Speaker 2 (07:14):
I gotta say the moment I said it, you know,
this is how great all of you are. You and
the whole audience. But I got emails and texts, and Jeff,
be careful. There's scammers out there. They're gonna fleece you. Man,
They're gonna rob you blind, Jeff. So I'm like, no,
I hear you. I hear you. Dave, listen again. I
want to thank you for your service, and God bless
(07:35):
you in every way. God bless you and what you're
doing for that neighbor tomorrow. You have a heart of gold, Dave,
and thank you for sharing that story. I know Trump's
people are listening. That story is so powerful and it
literally lays out exactly what's wrong with everything the Democrats
are doing to our country. People like you who earned
(07:58):
it weren't getting and illegals are stealing us. They're rubbing
us blind. God bless you, and Dave, please don't be
a stranger. Call again. Six one seven two six six
sixty eight sixty eight. So there you have it in
a nutshell serves this country hits hard times. Sixteen bucks
(08:20):
a month, blank you two months? And then oh, you
made too much money last year, so nothing, that's it,
no more. And then he and his wife go to
a food bank. Here's two groceries. Oh, no children. No, well,
then don't come back. You think any illegal alien has
ever been told that sixteen bucks they give that to
(08:43):
an illegal an hour? What for the whole month? That's
an hour if an hour, and they they get all
the food they want. Here. People are sending me emails
with images cars that the trunks stuffed with food and
(09:04):
these are illegals on food stamps. But you can't fit
it in. There are so many grocery bags like it's disgusting.
And I gotta say, I don't want to be cruel,
but some of these illegals, you know, they could go
on a diet in other words, that the food stamps
get cut off tomorrow. That could be a good diet
(09:27):
for some of these illegals, you know, the shutdown diet.
They could go for a good week or ten days
without eating just water. I mean, holy shimoli geez. I
mean they make me look slim. Six one seven two
six six sixty eight sixty eight. Mel in Saratoga, New York.
(09:52):
Thanks for holding Mel and welcome.
Speaker 5 (09:56):
Yes, good morning, Jeff.
Speaker 6 (09:57):
How are you today?
Speaker 2 (09:57):
I'm good? How are you melt?
Speaker 6 (10:00):
Considering what all this madness that's going on in this
country perpetrated by the Democrats. You know, it's it's up
in the air. But Jeff I wanted to ask, what
is the possibility of a recall of Michelle Woo and
what's the name that is the governor there?
Speaker 2 (10:18):
Hold it Heally Healey?
Speaker 4 (10:20):
Right?
Speaker 5 (10:20):
I mean, don't the people in Massachusets have a right
for a recall, say, even if there were one hundred
thousand signatures on a petition to UH to bring to
the to the Assembly or whatever.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
Mel, my buddy, I hate to break it to you,
but our moonbats are even crazier than your moonbats. And
I know you're gonna say, come on, Jeff, nobody's crazier
than ours. Michelle wou is gonna win election in November,
not just in a landslide. Mel. I'm contested, there just
no opponent. I'm contested. Say what you want. Okay, mc
(10:57):
donnie's gonna win. But at least he's you know, he's
got to beat Cuomo, he's gotta beat Slee walk.
Speaker 1 (11:01):
No, not here, Jeff doesn't get a day off. This
request came from his wife. The Kuner Report weekend edition
