Speaker 1 (00:00):
Peter, I reading. Thanks for holding, Peter, and welcome.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (00:05):
A couple of things first, relative to these immigration issues,
all local and state law enforcement agencies have policies that
prohibit swarmn personnel from following in a legal order, and
I would think that using the police, local police departments
to do that would be a violation of that.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
So, Peter, what you're saying is you think if they
try to resist or block these mass deportations, some of
them are going to get arrested.
Speaker 3 (00:37):
Correct, Well, you know, I can see individual police chiefs
possibly directing their officers to, you know, take some action
to get in the way of federal immigration officials, but
I would think that would be that would be in
illegal order.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
Peter, do you do you think local law enforcement will
obey any legal order, say from Michelle WU to the
local police chief.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
I don't know if I think it would vary from
department to department what individual departments how they handled this,
but I would think it would be a mistake to
issue that order.
Speaker 4 (01:22):
I can see individual police.
Speaker 3 (01:24):
Departments doing nothing, not assisting, but not getting in the way,
but I don't think they can direct law enforcement agencies
local estate to get in the way of federal immigration
officials doing their job.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
Well, Peter, look, let me ask you point blank. You
obviously seem to know exactly what you're talking about. Who
is Michelle Wu? Just to use her as an example,
anybody I could go with Brandon Johnson in Chicago, that
clown in Denver, or the mayor of Los Angeles are
all the same. Who the hell is Michelle Wu to
stand there? I mean, who died and made her go? Really?
(02:00):
Who elected her dictator for the whole country or dictator
of Boston where she can stand there with a straight
face and say that she will protect all quote unquote
residents of Boston from any deportation from the federal government,
from Tom Holman, from the Border Patrol, from Ice, and
(02:23):
that she is going to direct police and the residents
of Boston to oppose any deportations whatsoever. So the Mayor
of Boston now can just what break federal immigration law,
literally obstruct justice, aid in a bet, illegal aliens, literally,
(02:44):
caudle drug traffickers, human traffickers, murderers, rapists, gangbangers. And this
is the mayor of Boston. And by the way, Peter,
just one last thing, and I promise they'll go right
back to you. This is the same woman now that
is trying to raise commercial taxes through the roof, so
(03:04):
much so that the entire business community is up in
arms that you have the state legislature sticking their nose
in and saying, are you crazy? Do you want to
drive out all business and investment out of Boston? Like
how quickly do you want to turn the city into
a Third World l hole? So now she's going now
she wants to raise property taxes on everybody, which, by
(03:25):
the way, is exactly what Brandon Johnson has done in Chicago,
which is what they do all across California. Catherine Kelly,
that wonderful woman who's leaving the charge against Natick becoming
a sanctuary city, said, who do you think ended up
paying for all these illegals and all you know, the
schools and the hospitals, And it was the residence of
(03:46):
San Jose. Our taxes went through the freaking roof, and
then businesses fled, investment fled, the tax base fled, taxpayers fled,
and before you know it, you are one of the
most beautiful cities on the face of God's green earth
now become a Third World dump an absolute dump and
(04:07):
the clowns in nate it on the select board you
want to do the same thing, so, you know, in
other words, Peter, who the hell is Michelle wou to say?
You know what, Nah, I'm imposing a third world dictatorship.
I don't abide anymore by federal immigration law. I won't
respect our sovereignty, I won't respect the wishes of the
(04:28):
people of the United States. I'm sorry, Peter, but who
died and made her dictator? Can somebody explain this to me, Peter?
Speaker 3 (04:36):
Well, I don't know if anyone can explain it to you,
but I don't clearly, I don't think she has the
legal authority to do some of the things that she
stays she's going to do, And I clearly don't believe
she has the legal authority and to direct police departments
to impede federal immigration officials in performing their duties.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
You know.
Speaker 3 (04:56):
Additionally, eight US Quote thirteen seventy three, it prohibits any
state or local, any government entity in fact, from not
exchanging information with federal immigration officials about a person's citizenship status.
So I think their hands are going to be tied
(05:18):
on this matter. But I just hope that if they
do endeavor to do some of these things that they
that either Marra Heally or Michelle Woo says they're going
to do. I just hope the police departments, individual agencies
stand up to it and don't cooperate with you.
Speaker 1 (05:35):
Amen. Now, Amen, I think you're right. It's an unlawful order.
I say, we will not obey an unlawful order. You
do not have the legal, constitutional authority to defy the
federal government and to defy federal immigration law. This is
not a third Rold Banana Republic. Peter, thank you very
(05:55):
very much for that call. Sixty one seven two six
six eight. Now, I know the poll question of the
day is an either or right. What you think is
more effective as a punishment arresting the mayor or a
mayor or cutting federal funding? Okay, the text line is
on fire. You can text us seven zero four seven
(06:19):
zero seven zero four seven zero. This is from six
one seven Jeff regarding defunding sanctuary cities. It's like throwing
the baby out with the bathwater. Some good people and
some good organizations are going to be hurt. Why not
(06:42):
simply arrest the leadership that imposes the sanctuary city policies,
arrest them and punish them for violating the constitution and
ban them from ever seeking public office again. You know,
that's a very interesting point. I mean, you're right. There's
(07:02):
a lot of good people they my Boston or Chicago
or La or all these cities now that are vowing
you know, resistance, you know, to the Trump fascist regime,
and you know, you defund those cities, it's going to
affect these good people as well. If you just arrest
(07:23):
the mayors or the leadership, you know, I would arrest
the Boston City Council. Honest to god, I would go
after Michelle Wo and the city council right there. City
council voted unanimously thirteen to zero to support Mayor Wu. So, okay,
this is the way you guys want to play it.
You're all complicit. Well, if you're a criminal cabal, you
(07:43):
all go to jail, bye. And the same goes in Chicago.
Chicago with bred Brandon Johnson and with that crazy mayor
in denver So and the one in La. And let's
let's see how tough you are then. Uh So, that's
a very interesting point. Six one seven, Okay, this this
(08:07):
is from Dana Lash and she's a caller, sorry listener
sent me this on X and I think she makes
an absolutely phenomenal point on the school shooting in Madison.
Police say the killer at the Abundant Life School was
a teenager and used a handgun. Guns are banned on
(08:31):
school grounds and have been for thirty years. Juveniles are
not allowed to legally buy or carry handguns. No law
would have changed this, bing bingo. That's why, that's why
Biden and the media, we're need an assault weapons ban
(08:53):
for what. You can't carry a gun on school grounds.
She's right, afteen year old teenager can't own a gun,
can't buy a gun, can't even carry a gun. So
the assault weapons ban has nothing to do with what
took place in Madison, Wisconsin. And let me just do
(09:16):
one more and then go right to the phone lines.
And I think this is really I think this hits
the nail right on the head. And it's from five
zero eight. Jeff Luigi Mangioni shoots the healthcare CEO in
New York and the Left celebrates and makes candles worshiping him.
A psychopath shoots up a school in Wisconsin, and the
(09:41):
Left calls for gun control. Are we starting to understand
that their outrage about guns is one hundred percent fake. Yes,
it's all about destroying the Second Amendment, and then after
after that it's the First Amendment, and then it's the
(10:03):
entire Bill of Rights. That's why they're waging a war
on the Second Amendment. It's their trojan horse to take
down the entire constitution. Six one seven two six six
sixty eight sixty eight Frank In speaking of Natick. In Natick,
thanks for holding Frank, and.
Speaker 4 (10:24):
Welcome you very much for taking my call. I was listening,
and I want to start by saying this, especially on
on the town level, as an elected official, as a
town moderator, we are not crazy. We're volunteers and we
(10:46):
do our best, even though it may be wrong minded,
even though we may have viewpoints that don't agree with everyone,
we do our best to serve the people. Now, I
totally agree with you with what you're saying with Wu
and some of the mayors, because they are they are
basically in a different class. But I with what's happened
(11:11):
in Natick, with the assaults physically on property as well
as physically on people. Both sides of the coin, both
sides of this issue. We've got to bring this down
to the level that we start talking about the issues
and the matter that it actually is, which gets me
(11:32):
to my second point. I've done a little research, and
I understand the town's charter to some degree better than others,
and I've discovered that our select bort has absolutely no
authority to write any policy that affects the day to
day business of the town. Well the sanctuary city ordinances
(11:58):
and whatnot, or even what's being proposed and native, in
my humble opinion, affects the day to day business of
the town. So I think, and I think there's a
good argument that we as the people, really need to
understand what's going on, do our research, and then argue
on solid ground whether these things are really appropriate within
(12:21):
even our local laws. And in this case, I think
there's going to be a pretty good argument that even
if they pass this thing, it's going to get litigated anyway.
I want to lay out one final point here, and
I think the fellow from reading started to hint on
this and actually talk spoke very eloquently about it. We
(12:45):
hire and pay our police force, our enforcement agents, local
police share us and even the constables in the town
to do their job and to support us and to
serve us. We need to allow them to do things
at their discretion, and it is that their discretion that
(13:08):
they should be able to decide whether they're going to
be they're going to support or not support any law
enforcement agency within their tower, consistent with the laws of
the commualt of That's Jesus, that's their job. What our
elected officials need to do is get the hell out
of the way. Let the professionals do their job keep
(13:31):
us safe. Just like what happened to Natick with yesterday
with the FBI coming in and arresting two individuals that
were flying drones. They did their job now, and I
think that is my final mode of all the three
things I mentioned that, I think we get a cool down.
Stop calling people evil things or that they're they're wrong.
(13:54):
They may be wrong minded, and they may have a
political position that's not like ours, but we have the
power to confront them and influence them and use our
tools in the law to stop what they're doing if
we disagree. I thanks, thank you for your time.
Speaker 1 (14:13):
Frank, Look, thank you very much. I appreciate it. Look,
let me just say this. I think what the select
Board is doing is frankly criminal. I'll be brutally honest
with you. I think these people are despicable. Sanctuary cities
are illegal to begin with. And number two, they're putting
people's lives in danger and in jeopardy when you are
(14:34):
inviting illegal aliens to come into your community the way
the neetic select Board is, I'm sorry, they're putting people's
children at risks at risk, They're putting people's lives at risk,
They're putting the community at risk. And I mean, how
many more illegal aliens do we have to have come
into Massachusetts or in any other state. How many more
(14:57):
Joycelyn Nungarees or Lake and Riley's how many more young people,
innocent people have to be slaughtered and killed before we
say enough is enough? And you know you're saying there's
good faith on both sides. I disagree. Only a lunatic
whilch support sanctuary cities now after all of the evidence
(15:21):
that we have, And I believe this is politically motivated.
They saw Trump win November fifth, They saw him with
the decisive mandate, and one of the key parts of
his mandate was to secure our border. Stop this invasion
and implement the greatest, the largest mass deportation in American history,
(15:44):
starting with violent, convicted, criminal, illegal aliens. And the liberals
and the moonbats in this state and inn in Illinois
and in California and in other places have lost their
minds and they're trying to wage all out resistance. So
I don't know who the Natick select Board think they're protecting,
(16:04):
but they're certainly not protecting the law abiding residents of
Natick or the taxpayers of Natick. And let me end
on this, frank and again, let me be brutally honest
with you, like I'm in a confessional. Before I ended
up moving to Rentham, you know, we lived for a
while in Foxborough in an apartment, my wife and I
and then we had Ashton. We were looking seriously at
(16:27):
Natick as the place we were going to buy a home.
I know, Natick. We checked out the housing market in Natick.
I was seriously considering moving to Natick. That people on
the select Board would even consider turning Natick into a
sanctuary city, they're crazy, Okay, just a program note for everybody. Tomorrow, Wednesday,
(16:53):
December eighteenth, will be the cooner man's final show of
the year. Sandy will be filled in for me Thursday
and Friday, so we're gonna have live programming for you
the whole week, I promise, and Sandy always does a
very good job. Then next week we're both off. It's
gonna be holiday programming. However, do not despair, because I
(17:16):
will be live back on the air the day after
January first, So Thursday, January second, it will be Mike
and I. Mike will be manning the control room, the phones,
the whole bit, and of course I'll be back on
the air. So Thursday, January second, I will be back.
(17:38):
So Mike was just asking me, Jeff, are we going
to do like an end of the year's show tomorrow?
You know, I don't know. It is going to be
my last show of the year, so I want it
to be fun and I want it to be special,
so we'll see. But anyway, looking forward to a much
much needed vacation. David in Boston. Thanks for holding David,
(18:03):
and welcome.
Speaker 2 (18:05):
I'm a da V and I'm in my seventies. Jeff
good I go back to the Vietnam Miller God.
Speaker 1 (18:13):
And David, thank you for your service. In case I forget.
Thank you very much for your service, and have a
very merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
Speaker 2 (18:22):
Back at you, Jeff, thanks for your service too, Jeff.
You're doing a great service also, Jeff. What I want
to bring attention to is what I've The reason I
mentioned my age is I'm not a new kid on
the block. I've been around the block a few times.
But the greatest source that I have found and discovered
about this this hatred, this unwarranted hatred for men, and
(18:50):
especially white men and white conservative Christian men, is gender studies.
I attended gender studies at Havard jun Versity and m
I team the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. I attended many
gender services. I wasn't a student there, but you don't
have to be a student to attend many of the seminars.
(19:12):
They're open to the public, and it's unbelievable the things
I heard. I know we're running short on time, so
I'll give you one quick, one quick episode. I'm at
HAVID and we're in like an amphitheater. The thing, the speakers,
this lesbian lady and a lesbian lover on the bottom,
(19:34):
and the seats you know, they rise in an amphitheater style.
So we're looking down on the speakers and this way.
Speaker 5 (19:41):
And I'm about the only guy in there, certainly the
only white guy, the only guy in there. And there's
all these young, impressionable, young, havard female female students.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
There weren't any men there. There's all these females, young, young,
impressionable female students. And this late she's referring to our
founding fathers as founding fraudsters. And she goes on to say,
you know, regarding like woman voting, the right to vote
and all the sort of thing. She said that the
(20:15):
our founding fraudsters would the fraudsters would surely take the
cataline whip to the backs of their wives and their
black definition.
Speaker 1 (20:24):
It's slanderous, David, is disgusting. You're right, You're completely right.
It's defamation. They're defaming our founding fathers. Honestly, it's disgusting.
This is what I mean. They just make stuff up.
It's smear, smear, lie, lie, lie. And you know, David,
you talk about, you know how radical feminism was and
(20:46):
still is. I'll never forget one of the founders of
modern feminism, Gloria Steinem. Her most famous statement a woman
needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle. Well,
I'm just just common sense. So basically, what all women
are going to be alone? Like, that's what you're telling women,
(21:11):
never to get married, never to have children, never to
be with a man. How do you think that's going
to work out for women and for the human race? Now,
just very quickly, because this was sent to me earlier
by Laurie and she makes a brilliant point about pop culture.
(21:32):
Jeff please remember this. Taylor Swift came out at one
of her count came out at one of her concerts
and shouted over and over F can't say the word
F the patriarchy. So that's where young women hear it
(21:53):
and have it embedded in their minds. Listen, trust me,
young girls follow Taylor Swift. So when she says if
the patriarchy, that's where they're getting this sick radical feminism
from Jay on the South Shore, I've got a minute.
I hate to do this to you, Jay.
Speaker 4 (22:13):
Go Jeffrey, how are you, sir?
Speaker 2 (22:17):
Good?
Speaker 4 (22:18):
How are you? J Go?
Speaker 1 (22:19):
My friend?
Speaker 6 (22:20):
I to would produciary responsibility? Ask Mara Heally, Michelle, wou
do they have a produciary responsibility to the citizens of
the State of mass and the answer is yes.
Speaker 1 (22:35):
Jay I love it. I love it.
