Boston's Bulldozer operates seven days a week. The Kuner Report
weekend edition WRKO, the Voice of Boston.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
They're now teaching our children. Good morning, Cooner Country. Okay,
my friends. Obviously a lot to talk about today, another day.
The government shutdown continues. There is no end in sight.

(00:29):
It looks like it's gonna last, at a minimum now,
the rest of the entire week. So this story is
not going to stop. It's going to continue to go
on and on and on. However, there are some very important,
huge stories that also need to be covered as well,
and to show you how bad the problem of illegal

(00:53):
immigration has become in our country, what an invasion it
has truly became. This is an absolutely, it's a stunning story.
It's an it's almost an unbelievable story, to be honest
with you. Uh and it's an embarrassing story. And how
did how it got to this point? I don't know,

(01:16):
but we we've got a problem. We've got an absolute problem,
Cooner Country. So listen now to this. In Des Moines, Iowa,
the superintendent for that city's public schools, which is the
biggest public school system in the entire state. Now, remember

(01:37):
Iowa is a red state. Des Moine is a blue pocket, yes,
no question, It's one of the few Democrat strongholds they have.
But still Iowa overall is a red state. And yet
they managed to have an illgal alien from Guyana as

(02:01):
the superintendent, the superintendent for des Moines's public schools. This
is how bad it has gotten in our country. And
so here is exactly what took place last week. To
the shock and horror not just the people in des Moines,

(02:22):
this is a massive national story to the people across
the country. ICE agents arrested Ian Andre Roberts. Ian Andre
Roberts was in a des Moin public vehicle. They had
given him a car. Why because he was the superintendent

(02:48):
who had been hired several years ago to be in
charge of the public school system in des Moines. And
yet he was pulled over by the ICE saying that
there was a removal order, a final deportation order for
him issued by a federal immigration judge. He then engaged

(03:13):
in a car chase the police and the ICE had
the car chase them down in their car. He then
fled his vehicle into the woods. Eventually later he was
caught and arrested. They found in his vehicle, a loaded handgun,

(03:35):
three thousand dollars in cash, and one of these, if
you've ever seen the movie First Blood, like this massive,
a long blade hunting rifle. And people are asking themselves,
how the hell could this have happened? And it turns

(03:58):
out that the Des Moines Public School System, the school
board hired a man who was an legal alien to
collect Listen to this, a three hundred thousand dollars a
year salary in which he was the one who oversaw

(04:21):
policy and the running and management of all what is it,
thirty thousand students, five thousand employees, the largest school system
in Iowa. Ian Andre Roberts came to the United States

(04:43):
in nineteen ninety nine on a student visa student visa.
He then overstayed his visa. He was in the United
States for decades without work authorization papers. He was an
illegal alien, and yet during that time listen to this,

(05:09):
he went from school system to school system, from New
York to Maryland, to Pennsylvania and then eventually to Iowa,
where he was collecting six figure salaries in job after
job after job. And how did he do this? How

(05:34):
did he do this? According now to the Des Moines
Public School System. Man, this guy's what is he fifty
four years old, fifty five years old. He's been doing
this racket for twenty five years. He gave them a
driver's license and a fake Social Security number and that

(05:58):
was good enough as proof of citizenship. And they said okay,
and they hired him. And they gave him a three
hundred thousand dollars a year salary, and a government issued
or a public school system issued car, never mind all
the other perks and benefits. But it gets even worse.

(06:21):
He claimed in his resume that he has a PhD
from Morgan State University, which is an historically black college
in Maryland. That was a lie. He doesn't have a PhD.
Supposedly in urban educational leadership. He literally made it up.

(06:43):
He made it up. He gave himself a PhD on
paper nobody bothered to check. He then claimed that he
got a graduate degree, a master's in business from MIT
here in our neck of the woods. Guess what. MIT
issued a statement saying, this guy never went to our school.

(07:08):
Not only did he not get a degree, he never
went to the school, for God's sake. And then they
began to find out that he claimed false awards. He
claimed when he was working in Washington, DC, that he
was given quote unquote by George Washington University principle of

(07:29):
the Year. George Washington released a statement saying, we don't
give those kinds of awards. A, we never gave him
any award, and B we don't just give We don't
give awards for principle of the year. We just don't
do that. And the whole time, the moonbaths and they're

(07:51):
all liberals. They're all liberals on the Iowa school board
like the d oh okay, oh you got to to
this day, after this fraud and grifter has been thoroughly exposed,
they're still calling him doctor Roberts. I swear to God

(08:14):
in press conference after press conference when the people of
Villain of Iowa, the families, the parents are how could
you have hired this guy? You guys didn't do any
basic vetting, You didn't do the minimum background check. You
just accepted everything this guy said at his word. How

(08:38):
could you not have seen he was an illegal alien?
How could you not have seen he had no legal
authorization to work in the United States. And here's the kicker,
here's the kicker. Listen to this. In twenty twenty, he
was arrested on weapons charge is illegal possession of weapons.

(09:05):
This guy had a criminal background, and they still hired him.
And they're claiming, we didn't know, we didn't know, So
you didn't know that this guy A had a criminal background,
B was an illegal alien, C had phony degree after

(09:27):
phony degree after phony degree, and D and D had
a removal order, a deportation final removal order, and you
gave him the keys to the schools of Des Moines, Iowa.

(09:48):
No no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
no no. Not only is this shocking and stunning beyond words,
the question you have to ask yourself is how many
more like this are in the system? How many more
frauds like this guy are in the system. Now, let's

(10:10):
be honest. Ian Roberts is black. He's from Africa, and
the Des Moines Public school system was itching itching under
diversity equity inclusion to hire a minority at all costs,

(10:31):
and this guy checked all the right boxes. And if
you've seen pictures of him, he wears these three piece
suits with these bow ties. He's got this loud personality,
he's got this shtick going and he charmed people, and
he said all the right things, and he patted his resume,

(10:54):
and they said, you know what, let's not look too deep.
I'm telling you that's what happened. Let's not look too deep.
We don't want to know who this guy really is
and how we got into the United States. Let's just
turn a blind eye because we had the hire the

(11:17):
first quote unquote African American to run the school system
in Des Moines, Iowa. My friends, this is beyond disgraceful.

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
