Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay, just from my own experience, take it for what
it's worth. And I'm not saying this about individual churches.
I mean, some it's obvious, like this church in Detum,
but there's many others that you know, are very solid.
But this comment is more directed at the archdiocese, Okay,
the leadership here, the Catholic church leadership in Massachusetts. To me,

(00:23):
it's very obvious that they have now pledged allegiance to
the Democratic Party, There's no question, and that in many
ways they put their allegiance to the Democratic Party over
their faith, over their church, over God and Jesus, you know,
over God and Jesus themselves. So to me, I'm sorry,

(00:48):
but I've seen it again and again. The way they
tolerate rampant abortion in this state, the way they tolerate
the assault on marriage and on family in this state.
I could just go on and on how soft they've been, feckless,
ineffective against the radical LGBTQ plus agenda. I mean, I

(01:11):
just issue after issue after issue, and it's like the
only issue that matters now is open borders and illegal
immigration and sanctuary cities. You know, I don't know when
the last time at my church that I heard a
homily denouncing abortion. I don't know. It's I don't know.

(01:32):
It's been at least ten years. Just to give an example,
I don't I've never heard a pro life sermon ever.
Call a ten minute pro life homily, I've never heard that.
But at least once a month, Oh, the illegals, the illegals.

(01:54):
We have to give sanctuary. We have to open our homes,
we have to open our church is, we have to
open our wallets, we have to open up our welfare services.
It's just NonStop. So no, I think there's no question.
There's no question that, at least here in this state.

(02:15):
I can only speak for Massachusetts. They're in bed with
the Democratic Party. Six one seven the archdiocese. Six one
seven two six six sixty eight sixty eight is the number. Okay,
many of you are asking, Jeff, could you please give
the name of that priest again. He is a reverend

(02:37):
Stephen Josoma. I believe it is how you pronounce his
last name, Josoma. It's at Saint Susannah Parish in Denham.
It's now gone everywhere, and so he has now put
up a nativity scene where there is no baby Jesus,
or Mary or Joseph. Instead, there is an that says

(03:01):
Ice was here, obviously, the presumption being that they were
taken by ICE agents, all three of them. And underneath
that sign it reads quote, the Holy Family is safe
in our church. If you see ice, please call loose Lucee.

(03:22):
I don't even want to give out the number, but
they give the number. It's a local number. So there
you go. Basically, just the way we give sanctuary to
illegals in our church, we're giving sanctuary to the Holy
Family in our church because Jesus, Mary and Joseph were
illegal aliens six one seven two six six sixty eight

(03:45):
sixty eight. So again I want to ask all of you,
have you add something similar to this happened in your church?
I don't care Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant, whatever it may be,
just in your place of worship. Number one, number two.
If you were a member of the Saint Susanna parish

(04:07):
in Debnham, what would you do and what do you
think the parishioners should do? If anything? Now I can
just tell you if this was my parish. Sheila, the
previous caller said she just left. She couldn't take it. Anymore,

(04:27):
she went to another church. That's what I would do. Now.
Grace would agree with me, Yeah, we're going to go
to another church. But I'm telling you, I know my wife.
She would call the priest and either speak to him
or leave a voicemail in a very polite way, but
she would give him the business as they say. She

(04:50):
would tell him you're wrong, what you're doing is shameful, unacceptable,
and you should stop. And if you continued, she'd say, yeh, Jeff,
you're right, Let's go another church. Let's go to another parish.
And the reason why I know this is because there
was a homily at a different parish that we went to.

(05:11):
I have to be careful. I go to Mass at
a certain time, and I don't want people to know
this because there's a lot of crazies out there. So
for a while we went to another parish during the summer. Okay,
I don't want to say anything more. And at that parish,
the priest gave a pro illegal immigration, pro sanctuary city,

(05:33):
pro amnesty homily, and Grace was I was infuriated, but
Grace was really infuriated, and she insisted. She called and
left a message and she said, you know I raised
my children to respect the law and to respect law
enforcement and to respect authority, and what you did today

(05:54):
in that homily was undermined everything I'm trying to raise
my children to be. Can you think before you speak? Anyway,
we stopped going to that parish because I don't want
to listen to that nonsense all the time. So I
know that she would do something like that, but in
the end we left. That's what most people do, They

(06:18):
just leave. I'm asking now maybe it's time. Do you email?
Do you flood the guy with calls? Do you even
hold a protest? I don't want to hold a protest,
and in front of a church, I don't. I respect
priests by naturally and just naturally. I always respect a
priest that is a man of God. So I don't

(06:42):
want to, you know, be confrontational. I don't want to
cause an incident or a scene. I don't want to
do that. But you're starting to back me up against
the wall here, because if this starts happening in more
and more parishes, you're forcing me. I don't want to
do it, but you're forcing me. Six one seven two

(07:03):
six six sixty eight sixty eight. Okay, We're gonna go
right to your calls, but first joining us now, as
she always does at this time. She is the co founder, CEO,
president of Kelly Financial Services, and yes, that is her
wonderful name, Kelly. Kelly Kelly, how are.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
You good morning, Jeff? I am good.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
As we head deeper into the holiday season, I've been
thinking a lot about generosity, not just the gifts we give,
but values behind them and the legacy we want to leave.
Retirement isn't just about saving money, It's about stewardship. It's
about using what you've worked so hard for with purpose, gratitude,

(07:54):
and clarity. And this time of year, people want their
giving to matter helping children, grandchildren, their church, or the
causes they love, while understanding while why taxes may shape
those choices so their generosity goes as far as possible.
That's why we're sharing our Tax Explorer Guide. It's easy

(08:18):
to read and helps you understand how taxes may impact
your giving and your retirement income as we look ahead
to a new year. If you'd like a copy, give
us a call or send us an email. Jeff, I'll
continue this conversation with our Kelly Advisors tomorrow morning at
nine am on safe money strategies. We also hope to

(08:40):
see many of you at our toy drive tomorrow morning. Jeff,
have a wonderful weekend. My best of Grace and the kiddos.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
Thank you so much, Kelly, All the best to you
and everyone at Kelly Financial. If you want more information
and details about tomorrow's toy drive, it's from eleven am
to one pm. I'm at their brain Tree in Burlington
offices called eight eight eight eight hundred eighteen eighty one
eight eight eight eight hundred eighteen eighty one, or if

(09:09):
you prefer, you can email Kelly directly Kelly at Kellyfinancial
dot org. James in Marlborough. Thanks for holding James and welcome.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
No problem.

Speaker 4 (09:23):
How you doing, Jeff.

Speaker 5 (09:24):
I think this priest is in a lot more trouble
than he realizes, a lot more trouble because, according to
the Gospels, an angel, a direct emissary of God, directed.

Speaker 4 (09:36):
Joseph to take his family to Egypt. Now this priest
is calling that illegal immigration. He's basically saying that God
is complicit in a crime, which is a rather odd
theological position to take, wouldn't you say.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
Brilliant, James, I'm telling you brilliant, seriously brilliant. I know
I'm like a broken record, but honestly, best audience in
the business. I mean, it's checkmate. Really, you got them,
you got them, and you know, James, I gotta tell you. Look,
and I'm not saying this to stroke your ego. You're

(10:13):
obviously a smart man, but look, the archdiocese they're no dummies.
I mean they're not and a lot of them are
trained in the seminary. They know Christian traditions, they know
Catholic faith, they know the Catechism, they know you know,
they know this story of Jesus. They know it extremely well.
They know this, they know this. So how come nobody, James, honestly,

(10:38):
how come nobody's picking up the phone and telling this priest,
father Josoma, how do you pronounced his last name? Say, hey, dude,
you gotta go like, I'm sorry, that's it, It's over.
I mean, why is the archdiocese deliberately turning a blind
eye in your view? Even though forget the local backlash,

(10:59):
this is now a national story. I mean, this parish
now is bringing shame to the Catholic Church.

Speaker 6 (11:07):
What's your theory, James, Well, like you said, it's uh,
it's politicized and you know sometimes uh, you know, sometimes
scripture is difficult, you know, I mean, uh, you know,
you've got to you've you've got to you know, embrace
what's there. And you know, if your politics clashes with

(11:27):
you know, your theology or basically divine truth from a
from a religious perspective, yeah, that's pretty bad. That's pretty bad.

Speaker 7 (11:35):
I mean the.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
Bottom line is on whose authority is he making this distinction.
I mean, on the one hand, you know, you've got
God telling you to do something, and on the other hand,
you know you've got this you know, secular legal you
know whatever.

Speaker 7 (11:49):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (11:49):
So again, if he's going to start talking about legalities
and the rules and such, I think he's going to
have a much harder time finding a higher authority, uh
than God. So, like I said, I think this.

Speaker 6 (12:02):
Guy's going to be in a lot of trouble to
worry about.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
James Master, call, you nailed it, You so nailed it.
Thank you for that call. Look, this is the elephant
in the room and it pains me as a Catholic
to say it. It really does. And to be fair,
it's not just the Catholic Church. The Lutheran Church. There
are other Protestant denominations or some Lutheran churches because there
are multiple, but some Lutheran denominations and Protestant denominations are

(12:32):
involved as well. Okay, so it's not just a Catholic thing,
to be fair, but I'm speaking as a Catholic. It's
the billions and billions of dollars that the Vatican and
the Church gets in the United States from working with NGOs,
non governmental organizations led by Catholic charities to bring in

(12:53):
illegal aliens and resettle them across the country. Just follow
the money. So they're espousing a globalist, open borders id
theology now, which is a form of cultural Marxism. It's
getting them now to the point that this is I mean,
it's now openly blasphemous. Okay, what they're doing now, and

(13:18):
nobody's doing anything because they're so in bed, forgive me,
with human trafficking because that's what illegal immigration ultimately is.
And the Church needs the money because of all the
sex abuse scandals in the lawsuits, so they're desperate for cash.
They need the cash, and these globalist organizations, these NGOs,

(13:44):
who have been bringing in an army of illegals go
to the churches in particular. Again, it's not just the
Catholic Church. There are other some Protestant churches are involved
as well. But still Catholic Church is a big player
in this and they're getting billions, they're making billions of
dollars out of it, so they have a financial self

(14:06):
interest in pushing this. And that's why I say this
respectfully to the Pope who's come out now with another
ridiculous claim, this time about Muslims. Okay, but he's going
on about, you know, the migrant, the migrant, the migrant,
and this was not just the current Pope, previous pope,
Pope francis same thing. You are financially compromised when you

(14:32):
make that kind of a statement because you are taking
in vast amounts of cash, so you have a financial
vested interest in what you say. And I'm sorry, it's wrong,
it's unethical and it's immoral. Six one seven two six

(14:52):
six sixty eight sixty eight agree, disagree Keith in Avon.
Thanks for holding Keith, and.

Speaker 8 (15:00):
Welcome Jeff, Jeff person.

Speaker 9 (15:05):
Foremost, I want to thank you for what you do, okay. Second,
I want to reach my voice out individually to every listener,
one on one me to you listening right now, Merry Christmas,
happy Honkah, and good loving, strong vibes for anything you celebrate.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
God bless you, really, God bless you. No, Merry Christmas,
happy Honkah, Thank you very much, keep going, my friend.

Speaker 2 (15:33):
I look at that.

Speaker 9 (15:34):
I'm no theologian. I know the Bible enough to be
able to speak on it, but I, you know, whatever,
But I look for things that aren't in there, because
everyone nippicks and looks and tries to draw something from
every word of the Bible. But wouldn't it make sense
if there were a character in the Bible where Mary
and Joseph come to Bethlehem. They're knocking on all the

(15:56):
doors and everyone just slams the door in their face.

Speaker 4 (15:59):
And is no one.

Speaker 9 (16:01):
Who just said, yeah, come on in, use my house,
do whatever you need to do, take it over. It's fine.
That's not in the Bible, is it.

Speaker 4 (16:09):
It's just not there. It would be a perfect story
to have.

Speaker 9 (16:12):
It would be a wonderful character to speak on for
two thousand years.

Speaker 4 (16:16):
But human nature is that we.

Speaker 9 (16:19):
Are secure for ourselves and our families first, and then
generous to others. Not selfish, not in a bad way,
but you have to make sure that whoever is coming
into your home is someone you know, someone you trust
when you want to open it up to not just
some random stranger knocking on the door. You know, I'll

(16:41):
drive you to the hospital if you're pregnant. Holy crap,
but you're not given birth in my living room floor,
like you know, So like the whole story of Jesus
and whatnot, really look at what's not there as well
as what's there.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
Oh my god, seriously, the previous caller, grand slam, disc
grand slam. That's why baby Jesus is born in a manger.
You're right, he's not born in someone's home. You're absolutely right,
you know. And what gets me is, and I don't

(17:15):
mean this in any disrespectful way, but you know, Keith,
you and the previous caller, you know, you're not expert theologians.
You haven't spent years studying in a seminary. And these
are trained priests or the one in Evanston, he's a
trained reverence. Okay, just very quickly, many of you are saying, well, Jeff,
what can we do to expose this priest, to drive

(17:38):
this story to really let more people know about what's
going on, because this is beyond outrageous. I did, I
don't what you call it now a tweet and it's
an X but whatever, an ex a tweet whatever. I
put out two tweets yesterday on my ex account on
exactly what's happening in Dedham and why it is so

(18:01):
wrong and why this priest should be defrocked. So if
you want, please go to at the Kooner Report. All
one word kuh and is in national Er at the
Kooner Report, and they're right there and you'll find them,
and please, you know, like them, spread them around, send

(18:26):
them off to friends, family members. Get this thing circulating,
because we need to get the word out. Six one
seven two sixty six sixty eight sixty eight. How in
New Hampshire. Thanks for holding hal and.

Speaker 4 (18:41):
Welcome, hey, Jeff, a great show.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
Hey, you don't have to be a theologian to understand
why Christ happened to be in Bethlehem, Luke, Chapter two.
I'll just a few verses. In those days, Caesar Augustus
issued a decree that a sense it should be taken
up the entire Roman world, and everyone went to his
town to register so Joseph also went up to the
town of Nazareth and Gali, to Judea, to Bethlehem, to

(19:06):
the town of David, because he belonged to the house
in the line of David. He went at a register
with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him
and was expecting a child. That is simple. The government
told him the kale that Caesar told him to be
in in Bethlehem, because we're doing a census of the
whole Roman world. Also, if any of your listeners just

(19:29):
go to their webs a search engine and put in
Bible in the border. Borders are mentioned at least forty
two times in the scriptures, and it's always to protect,
to keep certain elements out and to ensure the integrity
of the land.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
So how you're dead on and how you're right on
both counts obviously, but even the most obvious point. I mean,
I'm saying, almost like the sky is blue. Look at
how nations are mentioned in the Bible constantly. I don't
care Old Testament, New Testament. My point is God, or
obviously God ordained nations. He wanted there to be countries, nations, peoples,

(20:15):
distinct nations, distinct peoples with borders. Hello again, as a
lay person, even I can figure this out. What is heaven?
What is heaven? It's a place where it's the Kingdom
of God where you you know, you're lucky if you
get in right, you have to you know, God has

(20:36):
to say you're worthy to come into Heaven and be
in My kingdom. They don't allow anybody in. No illegal
aliens are allowed in. In other words, God must say
you are allowed. You have to ask. God has to judge,
and then if he says yes, you're allowed to come in. So,
if Heaven can have borders, if the Kingdom of God

(21:01):
can have borders, And you know, most people are you
know that listen to the show aren't Catholics because we
have a big audience, and it's in the South, it's
in the Midwest, it's But my point is, if you're
a Catholic, the Vatican has borders, the Catholic Church has
the Seat of the Catholic Church has borders. It literally
has a forty foot wall. So if it's good enough

(21:24):
for God, it's good enough for Heaven, and it's good
enough for the Vatican and the Catholic Church. I think
it's good enough for America call me crazy. How thank
you very much for that call. Dave in Rhode Island.
Thanks for holding, Dave, and welcome.

Speaker 7 (21:43):
Good morning, Jeff.

Speaker 10 (21:44):
How are you.

Speaker 1 (21:44):
I'm good? How are you?

Speaker 4 (21:46):
Dave?

Speaker 7 (21:47):
Not too bad? This won't be a grand slam like
a few of your other previous college but it might
be a home run. Keep in mind that the same
people who back and stand behind this priest in this
discuss rusting act are the same ones who want to
deny you a regular If I could say that Nativity
scene in a town square or a church.

Speaker 1 (22:10):
Ah bingo, Oh Dave, look at home run my friend. Yeah,
you hit it clean. I mean, you're absolutely correct. You're
absolutely correct. You see this they like. But a real
Nativity scene, as you said, in a public square or
town square or whatever. No, that's that's vera bolton, Dave,

(22:36):
have a very nice weekend. Great call. William in Charlestown.
Thanks for holding William and welcome.

Speaker 8 (22:44):
Oh, thank you so much, mister Corre.

Speaker 10 (22:47):
I will receive for years for you the best time.

Speaker 1 (22:54):
I wish my wife would say that, but but let
that call William. Please go on, my friend.

Speaker 10 (23:03):
He's all right, but I love you all non sensual way.
Thank you, y way, I love you ben here glad
bless sure.

Speaker 1 (23:14):
Thank you William, William. Is there any besides telling me
you love me in a non sexual way? Is there
anything else you want to say? My friend?

Speaker 6 (23:23):
Do what?

Speaker 10 (23:25):
Glad bless.

Speaker 1 (23:30):
And God bless you, William, Thank you very much for
that call. Uh six one seven two sixty six sixty
eight sixty eight. All right, let's let's go to Giovanni
in Saugus. Giovanni, I love your name, by the way,
thanks for holding and welcome.

Speaker 4 (23:48):
Thank you.

Speaker 8 (23:49):
Merry Christmas only, Merry Christmas, Grannie. A couple of things.
The priest let's committed a model said. First of all,
he's broken two commandments one, love your neighbors yourself. Number two,
shell lood commit murder. Now he's destroying a man's character
openly in the nation where he's not supposed to the
church and states is separated. Okay, he has no right,

(24:12):
okay slandering anybody at all, all his personal beliefs. If
he keeps him to himself, they're all right. But once
he admits something openly like that, he's a heretic.

Speaker 1 (24:25):
Giovanni, are you talking about the where he attacked Trump
when Trump won the election again and said compared him
to Barabbas. Is that what you're talking about?

Speaker 8 (24:36):
Well, I'm talking about right now. He is this. He
is destroying Trump's reputation right now. Why he's saying he
hates Trump and Trump is doing all these things. He's
not supposed to say that. He's he's ruining a person's character.
That's murder. According to Catholic Stritcha, that's murder.

Speaker 1 (24:53):
Okay, Giovanni, I got to ask you if you were
a member of that parish. Wh I can't ask him
because I don't have time.

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
