Speaker 1 (00:00):
Good morning, Cooner country. Okay, my friends, this scandal now
is getting bigger and bigger and bigger. I obviously want
to address and talk about Trump's absolutely magnificent I mean,
you want to talk about a tongue lashing. One of
the most impressive speeches I have ever heard in my life,
(00:24):
his address to the United Nations General Assembly. I promise
I'm going to get into the content of the speech
because it was so rich, so much truth, so much
there that I think needs to be discussed. But without question, okay,
without question, before the speech, I believe it was intentional.
(00:48):
And here is exactly now what happened. As I mentioned,
the Secret Service is now launching an all out investigation.
There are reports now coming out that anti Trump u
N staffers, those that work at the United Nations intentionally
stopped the escalator as Milagna, the First Lady and the
(01:13):
President were, you know, walked onto it, stepped onto the
escalator in order for them to trip and fall. And
it was also a massive security breach for the Secret Service.
So here is exactly now what is taking place on
(01:35):
on Sunday and going into Monday, the Times of London
did a report in which they said that UN staffers
to mark his return Trump's return his arrival at the
United Nations, that UN staff members were joking quote that
(02:00):
they may turn off the escalators and the elevators in
order to simply tell him they ran out of money,
so he has to walk up the stairs. Now, this
is what The Times, the British newspaper highly respected, reported
this on Sunday. Forgiven, was on Sunday. Now, as you know,
(02:21):
Trump has made some recisions, some cuts to the US
funding of the UN. We still fund about twenty two
percent of the UN's overall budget, so they were still
the primary funder, but there were some recisions and cuts
because of all the massive corruption and fraud in the
Foreign eight program. Now, maybe it was to protest this,
(02:44):
maybe they thought it was a sick joke, or maybe
it was something honestly more malicious and more nefarious. Now,
whatever it is, here is what happened. At about eight
point fifty in the morning, as President Trump and Milania
made their way to the UN building, they went on
an escalator. There were two escalators, one on the left,
(03:09):
one on the right. Milania Trump going walking in front
of her, the first lady walking in front of her, husband,
the President, did not go to the right escalator. She
then decided to take the left escalator. President Trump and
his entourage then followed the first lady. The right escalator
(03:30):
kept working. I want to stress that. No, no, they
were yeah, well whatever that yeah, exactly what. The right
escalator was going down and it was working. So she
went to the left escalator as she took the left escalator.
So the point is one of the escalators worked. She
(03:50):
took the left escalator. As she walked on it, it
was working. The moment as President Trump is following her,
he steps on the escalator. Boom, it came to a halt. Now,
I want to stress, the escalator on the right continued
to operate. So as the escalator on the left came
(04:13):
to a halt and no longer worked, no longer functioned,
the one on the right it kept working. No problem. Now,
Milania reacted quickly. She almost tripped, but she reacted quickly.
Apparently she's in good shape. She works out, she's got
great balance, and she started to walk up the escalator stairs,
(04:33):
followed by President Trump and his entourage. Now what is
clear is that Malania Trump could have tripped and fallen
and hurt herself. President Trump could have very easily tripped
and fallen and hurt himself furthermore. And this is now
(04:56):
where many even in the media are saying, no, no, no, no.
And this was a big breach on the part of
the Secret Service. Why because as the escalator unexpectedly stopped working,
Milania Trump and President Trump were vulnerable, they were exposed.
The Secret Service did not surround them in a circle
(05:19):
all of a sudden, now, they just let them walk
up the escalator stairs ahead of them. I mean they
were completely exposed, now, you know, Thank the Lord, nothing happened,
Thank the Lord. Did no one shot him or took
a shot at him, or tried to assassinate him. And
by the way, literally yesterday, the would be assassin at
(05:42):
the Florida golf course, Ryan Ruth was found guilty on
all counts. Obviously had attempted assassination on the President and
other counts and then by the way, took a pen
and tried to stab himself in the neck in an
active suicide. Okay, but let that go. My point being
just as yesterday they convicted a man for trying to
(06:06):
kill the president, and the Secret Service again major breach.
Just like they were very slow in Butler, if you remember,
after we got shot in the ear, they just left
him dangling there on the stage for what a minute?
Two minutes? However, it was now again he's exposed on
(06:29):
that escalator. So they're looking both into the Secret Service,
but more importantly into the UN staffers. Now, I just
want to read to you something that Susan Crabtree wrote.
She is a journalist for real Clear Politics. Why did
(06:52):
the Secret Service allow President Trump and Milania to get
stalled on an escalator today at the UN General Assembly
before his speech without moving quickly to protect the leader
of the free world and his wife. And she goes
on to say that the stalled escalator with President Trump
(07:13):
and the first Lady left him completely vulnerable and exposed.
They had to walk up the stairs. As they walked
up the stairs, the Secret Service was following them. Now furthermore,
and this is not a coincidence. I'm telling you, I
don't believe it's a coincidence. So I just want you
to step back objectively, okay, Number As I said, the
(07:34):
right escalator is still working the whole time, the right
escalator is working. So the moment the first lady and
then the President right after her stand on the escalator.
The escalator stops upon their arrival at the UN. Then,
(07:54):
when President Trump eventually made it up, the escalator walked
up the steps. He then delivered, as I said, his
historic address. But just as he's about to deliver his address,
guess what, the teleprompter started not to work. It failed
to work when it had just worked before. So when
(08:17):
Trump takes the stage the rosstrum to address the entire
UN General Assembly, suddenly, now guess what, let's pull the
plug on this baby. Now, he had a binder with
the speech written out on the binder as a backup,
a plan B. That's why you always have a plan B.
(08:38):
And so when the teleprompter didn't work, no problem, he
went to the binder. Apparently, even the microphones, which were
very audible for the previous speaker, were not amplified at
the same time that the teleprompter went down, So even
(08:58):
then they were messing around with the microphone. Now, look,
I was born, but I wasn't born yesterday. One could
be a coincidence, maybe maybe maybe two three. No, the microphone,
the teleprompter, the escalator, absolutely not, no, no, no, no, no,
(09:21):
two things happened. I'm telling you two things. Okay, this
was internal sabotage, there's no question, and UN staffers anti
Trump staffers were behind it. Either this was a sick joke,
let's give the you know, to give the devil his
due and to give it the best possible spin. This
(09:42):
was just a sick prank, a sick joke to protest
some of the cuts to the US funding that Trump
imposed to the UN. Or this was really criminal. They
wanted the first Lady to fall, They wanted a president
to fall. They were hoping to do damage or a minimum,
(10:05):
embarrass and humiliate them. They wanted to sabotage his speech. Now,
either way, I don't care. This needs to be thoroughly, thoroughly,
thoroughly investigated. And if UN staffers were involved, and I
(10:26):
believe they were, I think there's no question they need
to be arrested and they need to go to jail.
They could have gotten the first Lady seriously hurt, the
President seriously hurt in this a day and age in
the wake of the assassination of Charlie Kirk, in the
(10:46):
wake of what happened to Trump in Butler and in Florida. Okay,
I want you to listen now to President Trump. So
the teleprompter was not working for a while, and eventually
it fixed. They got fixed and it started to work again.
Listen now to the President. Now he makes a joke
about what happened at the escalator, and of course the
(11:09):
teleprompter not working basically as a sign or a symbol
of how disfunctional the United Nations is. Like nothing works here,
nothing even the escalator, even the teleprompter. This is President
Trump yesterday addressing the UN General Assembly. Roll cut one
(11:30):
a mike.
Speaker 2 (11:34):
I ended seven wars, dealt with the leaders of each
and every one of these countries, and never even received
a phone call from the United Nations offering to help
in finalizing the deal. All I got from the United
Nations was an escalator that, on the way up stopped
right in the middle. If the first lady wasn't in
(11:56):
great shape, she would have fallen. But she's in great shape.
Speaker 1 (12:00):
We're both in good shape. We're boster.
Speaker 2 (12:05):
And then a teleprompter that didn't work. This is These
are the two things I got from the United Nations.
A bad escalator and a bad teleprompter.
Speaker 1 (12:15):
Thank you very much. And by the way, it's working now,
just went on, thank you. So look to me, I
think it's obvious it was deliberate. To me, I can't
read the evidence any I don't believe in coincidences, and
I can't read the evidence any other way. And again,
just to clarify, there were two escalators, one on the right,
(12:37):
one on the left. The one on the right was
going down, the one on the left was going up.
So Malania Trump is approaching both escalators. Obviously she can't
go to the right because it's going down, so she
goes to the left, and you can see President Trump
is following her. The entire entourage is following her. The
Secret Service is following them. And I'm thinking, why why
(13:00):
aren't they surrounded by Secret Service. I mean, that's just
to me Number one struck. When I look at the
video that stands out right away she gets on the escalator,
it still works. Then the moment Trump stands on the escalator, bang,
it halts, and you can see like Malona kind of
just for a second, split second, like her footing, you
(13:21):
know how it is when something just abruptly stops, you know,
and she could have easily He's right she could have fallen,
She could have hurt herself. He could have fallen, He
could have hurt himself. And even if the intention wasn't
to hurt them or have them break a leg or whatever,
but to have them fall, especially the President, fall on
the escalator, to mock him, to humiliate him, to turn
(13:45):
it into a joke. Aha, look at him, look at
him falling, ha ha, Or it was intended, as the
Times of London is reporting, as these staffers were claiming,
you know, joking allegedly, Oh, we're gonna proach test the cuts,
so you know what, ha ha, because of your cuts.
The escalator doesn't work, the microphone doesn't work, the teleprompter
(14:10):
doesn't work. This is disgusting. I'm telling you, this is disgusting.
The UN has always been an incredibly anti American, frankly
anti Western body. Now it's a cesspool of anti Trump hatred.
And in the wake of what happened with Charlie Kirk
(14:32):
and God, as I said, God forbid, but the two
assassination attempts on Trump, and you guys are gonna play
around with this, And I just want to say one
other thing, and then I really want to go to
the phones and get your reaction six one seven two
six six sixty eight sixty eight. Sandy made an absolutely
stupendous point to me while we were off air. She said, look, Jeff,
(14:56):
the other question. It's not just that there was a
major breach in security, and now it's being investigated that basically,
they they left him exposed. The elevator halted and they
were left vulnerable, and the first Lady and the President
were completely exposed. It's this is unforgivable. But why was
(15:17):
the president allowed to take the escalator? There was an elevator.
Elevator is much better protection than an escalator. I mean,
I'm sure all of you have taken an escalator. You know,
you take an escalator, it's you're surrounded, it's open space.
You're you're basically a sitting duck from the left, from
(15:38):
the right, from the top, from above. Now I understand,
I get it. The President wanted a photo op, you know,
for the you know, for the newspapers, and there's him
and it's the first Lady going up the escalator as
he's about to go address the General Assembly. But many
times the Secret Service has stepped in and rightfully so,
(15:58):
saying mister President. I understand and what you want, but
our job is to keep you safe and keep you alive.
We're not gonna put you on that escalator, mister President,
what all due respect, that's it's it's too vulnerable, it's
too dangerous, You're gonna be too exposed. We're gonna put
you in that elevator where we know you're one thousand
(16:18):
percent safe, especially in the wake of Butler and Florida.
And by the way, sir, they are gonna give the
verdict later today on the guy who tried to kill
you in Florida. So please understand where we're coming from.
There are threats on your life. People want to kill you,
they want to assassinate you. We have to take every
(16:38):
single precaution. So please, sir, for your safety, the first
lady's safety, Let's take the elevator. Why didn't they That's
another I'm like, who the hell puts the president? You
left him high and dry him and the first lady.
Now let me ask you.
Speaker 3 (17:00):
It is the.
Speaker 1 (17:00):
Kooner Country Pole. Question of the Day sponsored by Marios
Marios Quality Roofing, Siding and Windows. Was the escalator at
the United Nations deliberately stopped when President Trump and the
first Lady stepped on it. Did they deliberately halt or
(17:24):
stop the escalator? Some you know by some UN staffer
aes B no, I'm a yes all the way to me,
this screams yes, but that's me. You can vote on
our web page WRKO dot com slash Coooner wrko dot
com slash cooner kuh and is in national Er and
(17:48):
of course, as always, you can vote via X and
I was active on X last night. My handle at
the Cooner report six one seven two, six, six sixty
eight six couple lines are open if you want to
jump on. Okay, double barreled. Question number one? Do you
(18:10):
think this was a deliberate act of sabotage? Did someone
at the UN or staff verse people at the UN
deliberately halt or stop the escalator when Trump and Millennia
began to walk on Number one? Number two? Was this
a major breach of security again and a failure by
(18:34):
the Secret Service? I say yes and yes, but that's me.
I want to hear from you, James in the state
of Minnesota. You're gonna kick us off. James, thanks for
holding and welcome.
Speaker 4 (18:48):
Yeah, good one, And Jeff, your Moddy's in Minnesota.
Speaker 1 (18:51):
Well, it depends. What do you want to talk about. Okay,
we lost James. All right, let's go to Larry in Arkansas.
Thanks for holding Larry, and.
Speaker 5 (19:06):
Welcome my god, Jeff, how do I follow that confusion?
Speaker 1 (19:17):
Go ahead later, Jeff, all right, First.
Speaker 5 (19:20):
No, I don't think it's a coincidence. I'd give credence
to the time to London saying that they knew ahead
of time that that was going to happen. Uh. Yeah,
there's way too many coincidences. So you had the escalator fail,
the teleprocter fail. I don't know if you it is
kind of related. You kept it to catch what happened
with the New York Times.
Speaker 1 (19:42):
Know what happened with the New York Times, Larry.
Speaker 5 (19:44):
After Ralph is his name, was found guilty, they released
a statement that he was found not guilty.
Speaker 1 (19:54):
Oh I saw that story. Yeah, No, I saw that. No,
they had a pre written story that he was not guilty,
if you can believe it. And by the way, Larry,
we'll talk about Ryan Ruth a little bit later in
the show. But I think the reason why Ryan Ruth
stabbed himself in the neck with a pen after the gilt.
(20:15):
The guilty verdict was announced was because he honestly thought
he was gonna be found not guilty himself. I think
he was shocked and he was found guilty by that
Florida jury, and he thought, no, I'm gonna be a
hero of the resistance. They're gonna let me go because
I was trying to shoot and kill and stop the
(20:36):
second coming of Adolf Hitler. And then I'm gonna become
like a media hero and they're gonna put me and
I'm gonna be on this media carnival, this circus ride
where I'll be interviewed by CNN and MSNBC and The
View and on ABC and NBC and and you know,
meet the mess and meet the press, and and they're
(20:57):
gonna go on and say, oh, look at this guy.
You know, why did you you do it? Tell us more,
tell us more.
Speaker 6 (21:04):
So.
Speaker 1 (21:04):
I think he was shocked and that's why he grabbed
that pen and stuck it in his neck. And honestly,
as far as I'm concerned, he missed twice. He missed twice.
He missed with Trump, and he missed with himself. This
guy's so incompetent, you can't even kill himself. He's such
a loser. Seriously, but anyway, I let let that go. Please. No,
(21:27):
you're right, Larry, you can see what's going on. The
hatred for Trump is so palpable and so all pervasive
that you have essentially now media outlets cheering. I would
be assassin, and you've got people at the un now.
Now it's getting to the point the guy's not safe
(21:48):
taking an escalator. Please, Larry, pick up where.
Speaker 5 (21:52):
You left off as far as the Times goes. I
don't think that was a mistake either. I think that
wasn't meant to put out as an embarrassment. And if
you're correct, he was kind of goofy because he forgot
apparently he was in DC or a New York court.
You know, he's in a Florida court. But I'd aggress myself,
I get back to it. Yeah, there's clearly a breach
(22:15):
of security with the Secret Service. They should have surrounded
him immediately, because you're right, he was vulnerable when that stopped.
But let's contrast the two presidents. How do you think
that would have played out if it was Joe Menja
on the escalator and then in front of the tile prompter.
Speaker 1 (22:36):
Well, if it was Joe. If it was you know,
dementia Joe. If it was this was Biden, he would
have fallen down, We would have he never would have
made it to the General Assembly. He would have fallen down,
probably would have broken something because he's so frail and fragile,
and they would have had to call an ambulance and
take him to the hospital. But yeah, well, you're right, Mike,
(22:57):
they would have put him in the elevator. Mike is right.
They never They protected and coddled him every step of
the way. He never would have been put on an
escalator ever, so a they would have put him into
the elevator. Then he gets to the assembly. Once that
teleprompter stopped, you would see the ramblings of a buffoon. Really,
you would see the ramblings of a lunatic. And god
(23:22):
knows what they would have done. They would have cut
it off short, or they would have escorted. Yeah, that's
what I'm saying. If the teleprompter had gone off on Biden,
you would have seen them the ramblings of a buffoon.
I mean, that's what I mean. He what would he do?
He would start, I mean, they would be gibberish, and
(23:42):
he would start telling stories about you know, about Hunter
and about just you know about his other you know
about his sons, and god knows what would have come
out of his mouth. Yeah, yeah, the uncle eaten by
a cannibal. And you wouldn't believe the stuff that would
come out of his mouth. You know, Oh how much
I love bow is bow here, I think I see bowl,
(24:04):
I speak the bowl, I mean sah, That's what had
come out of his mouth, And then the cameras would
have turned away, the media would have stopped covering him,
and they would have just escorted him off the stage. Honestly,
that's what I think would have happened. Larry, am I wrong.
Speaker 5 (24:21):
I'd even give that to Kamala. She'd have the same problem.
Speaker 6 (24:24):
You know.
Speaker 5 (24:25):
I think she'd be on the escalator. I could see
her tripping but her word salads with a teleprompter working.
It would have been even worse if it didn't work.
So where I'm going with that is, even though it
was an intempted embarrassment, Now, he could have shown anger,
he could have gone off on that, but like he does,
(24:47):
he made light of the situation while pointing out the
severity of the situation.
Speaker 1 (24:56):
And you know what I liked about it, Larry, was
he was pouring scorn onto the un He kind of
used it almost like jiu jitsu. You know, you're right.
It's it's like, you know, you guys are so incompetent here.
You can't even run an escalator, and you can't even
run a teleprompter. And you guys, you guys say you're
(25:16):
here to establish international peace and security. You're a joke.
You're you're such a joke. Nothing works. Even the escalator
doesn't work, probably thinking the whole time. No, they deliberately,
you know, pressed off, they sabotaged it, you know, Larry,
I don't know about you. Look, I can't tell you.
I know I've been in shopping malls and you know,
you know, you know, I've been to places where the
(25:38):
escalators you know, doesn't work, They don't work. I rarely
ever see let's say two escalators, you know, side by side,
one going up, one going down, that one works and
the other doesn't. Usually both don't work, you know, either
both work or both don't work. And when I saw
that that the one on the right, the one going down,
(26:01):
is perfectly fine. But and the other one on the
left was perfectly fine until the first Lady and then
the President right behind her stepped on it. And then
suddenly the left escalator stopped and the right one just
kept on functioning. And then when the teleprompter didn't work,
(26:22):
I said no, no, no, no, I said no, no, no.
That's not a coincidence. They did both on purpose. Six
one seven two six six sixty eight sixty eight is
the number. Okay, listen now to this, Okay, listen to this.
So I read this statement from Caroline Levitt. Let me
just read it again. If someone at the un intentionally
(26:44):
stopped the escalator as the President and First Lady were
stepping on, they need to be fired and investigated immediately.
She's completely correct. I'm looking at the video as I
speak to you. Now. Milania is walking, the first Lady
is walking right in front of the President. She steps
(27:06):
on the escalator. Then comes Trump. He steps you know
that literally it's the first step of the escalator. The
moment he puts the first step on the escalator, bang,
it stops. And Milania right away and she kind of
gets jolted, you know, Malania does, and her head whips
(27:29):
around and you can tell on her face she's like
what what just happened? And then Trump turns his head
around you as well, almost at the same time, and
there's a flash of anger on his face. And then
he does this with his right hand. He puts his
hand up and his finger, he puts up his finger
the way like in other words, like he's upset, like
(27:52):
this is going to stop. He just puts up his
index finger and he's sort of like with his hand
up like what just happened? Like stop, this is gonna stop.
So you can tell on his face his reaction. He
knew this was deliberate right away. He knew it was deliberate,
and then, of course with a teleprompter, that just became
(28:14):
so obvious. Now. MSNBC had Biden's former State Department spokesman on.
His name is ned Price. He was an advisor to
Secretary of State Anthony Blincoln. He's a CIA guy. He's
been in the CIA for years before he became a
(28:35):
hack for Blincoln and for Biden. This is what he
told MSNBC after the escalator incident. Quote. I imagine one
of the reasons that the escalator stopped is because his
administration has withheld hundreds of millions of dollars in funding.
(28:59):
Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? That's exactly
the line that these UN staffers were using in that
article in the Times of London on Sunday, when they're saying, yeah,
we're going to show him.
Speaker 7 (29:15):
We're going to stop the escalator the moment he gets
on to protest that he withheld several hundreds of millions
of dollars in funding for US, and then this guy
goes on the air within a couple minutes of it
happening and says, h well, I guess the escalator they
don't work because you kept withholding the funding.
Speaker 1 (29:42):
These people are sick. Honest to God, they're sick. They're
sick and childish, sick and childish and stupid, seriously stupid.
Let me just read a message from Mark and then
I'm going to go right back to the phone lines
six one seven two six six sixty eight. This is
what Mark wrote, and again it makes a very good point. Jeff.
(30:05):
I believe it was deliberate, and I don't believe for
one minute that Trump was joking or trolling when he
addressed the UN on that point. I believe he was
dead serious and I'm glad he said what he said,
When is this bull crap going to end? They're acting
like children and it needs to stop. They all need
(30:27):
to grow the blank up. Maybe that should be your
truth or troll question, Jeff, was Trump joking or was
he serious? My answer dead serious. Well, let me play
it again. This is what he told the UN before
his speech. Now, remember, the teleprompter's not working. That's the
(30:47):
not He starts talking and the teleprompter just doesn't work anymore.
Now roll cut one a Mike.
Speaker 2 (30:56):
I ended seven wars, dealt with the leaders of each
and every one of these countries, and never even received
a phone call from the United Nations offering to help
in finalizing the deal. All I got from the United
Nations was an escalator that on the way up, stopped
right in the middle. If the first lady wasn't in
(31:18):
great shape, she would have fallen. But she's in great shape.
We're both in good shape. We're both to And then
a teleprompter that didn't work. This is These are the
two things I got from the United Nations. A bad
escalator and a bad teleprompter. Thank you very much, and
(31:40):
by the way, it's working now. Just went on, thank you.
Speaker 1 (31:43):
I notice now when he's really you know, he's ridiculing,
and he's tearing into the un he's mocking them suddenly, Now, Hussam,
it works. Now, the teleprompter works. Honestly, I mean, you
can't make this up. No, let me let me say
the quiet part out loud. Okay. They wanted the first
(32:06):
lady to fall, and they wanted Trump to fall. And
if they could have broken a leg or broken a bone,
even better. And even if they didn't break anything, the
fact that they would fall, it would be a humiliating,
humiliating image, and that's what they wanted. Six one seven
two six six sixty eight sixty eight agreed. Disagree, Mel
(32:31):
in New York. Mel, haven't heard from you in a while.
How are you, my friend?
Speaker 3 (32:37):
Well? Not so bad in yourself?
Speaker 7 (32:39):
Good?
Speaker 1 (32:39):
Mel, good, getting better every day, getting a little better. Mel.
What do you make of all this, buddy?
Speaker 3 (32:45):
Well, you know, Jeff, this was a malicious move. It
wasn't anything accidental, and it was part of it was
on purpose. I would have to say that the building
super electric electrical supervisor, it has to know exactly uh,
you know, as far as any circuit breakers, because you
(33:06):
you yet you're definitely not going to stand at the
top or the bottom of that escalator and and and
and push a button that they shut it off, you know,
a circuit breaker, couldn't. I mean, it's not gonna it's
not gonna flip like that without somebody uh doing it themselves.
So I mean that's the first step I would take.
Speaker 1 (33:22):
You know.
Speaker 3 (33:22):
Yeah, I'm sure he's been questioned how I hope he has,
but yeah, but you know that that was a malicious move.
And I wouldn't put it past the chief law enforcement
law enforcing agent here in New York State. Uh, the
tissue James and above her, Kathy Hopel. I'm sure they
have to know something about what, but what what was
perpetrated yesterday? It's not you know, I mean he could
(33:45):
upstage Hopel, you know, at the drop of a hat,
just by mistake, with both of his hands and half
his brain tied behind his back, he could upstage her
and make her look like a like a like a buffoon.
This is just kind of this is this this had
to be paid back, you know, for for him going
after the tissue James on this on what she manufactured
(34:07):
against him, which is true about her. Uh, it's It's obvious,
as I always say, Rachel can see this, and they
you know, they've got to be They've they had to know.
I mean I would have to think that they How
could you not know? And where where was Hope? How
come she wasn't there with the President and the First
Lady on their way to UH to to the uh
(34:28):
Convention Hall, you know whatever whatever area that they know.
I don't know what it's.
Speaker 1 (34:32):
Called, but yeah, the General Assembly at.
Speaker 3 (34:38):
The vicinity or with them escorting or or or you know,
accompanying them to to their to their rifle area. But
you know, it's just, uh, Peddy, very very petty what
these Democrats will pull on on on somebody who who was,
you know, trying to bring peace to the world and
and put in like you say, U rising tie lists
(35:01):
all boasts. This is what his agenda is. He's not
here to leave people out. He doesn't care how you vote,
what your political persuasion is. He's here to help each
and every one of us. And it's just it's just,
you know, it's it's angering.
Speaker 1 (35:15):
It's not.
Speaker 3 (35:17):
To me it's angry. I don't know how the rest
of the audience feels, but to me, it's it's very angry,
and how it's very.
Speaker 1 (35:23):
Upsetting on that level. Now I'm with you, and again
I want to thank you for your call because you're
dead on. No, it's upsetting, really it is. And look again,
because she's fit, because she works out, she's got great balance,
as he put it, she's in great shape. She didn't fall.
And because she didn't fall, he didn't fall because they
were very close together as they were walking. Now, just
(35:45):
for the sake of argument, what if that was me? No,
I'm serious, I would have fallen. I'm telling you I
would have fallen. Okay. I have a horrible sense of balance.
I'm not in good shape. Quite the opposite. I would
have fallen. Okay. Now, just as an example, many people
would have fallen. Now, imagine if she fell and he fell.
(36:07):
Is this what the country needs right now?
Speaker 3 (36:10):
Well?
Speaker 1 (36:11):
Think about You know, it's all fine now because no
one got hurt. But what if they both fell, which
could have easily happened. Do you know how this would
be the biggest story in the world. The left of
late night comedians like Jimmy Kimmel, he was back on
last night doing his usual routine. They'd be mocking him,
(36:31):
making fun of him, making fun of her. The left
would be making fun of him in fun of her,
and of course Maga would be absolutely enraged and infuriated,
like this is what I mean. They just keep pouring
gasoline on the fire, and I go back. I want
to double back to the point that I made early.
It was actually with Sandy's point. I think it's a
(36:53):
great point. Where the hell was the Secret Service? All
I'm thinking is there they are walking up those steps now,
and I'm like, if you want to take a shot,
I mean, you couldn't have a cleaner shot. That's number one.
Number two, Why wasn't the President and the first lady,
(37:15):
why weren't they told, I'm sorry, you got to take
the elevator. I'm sorry. No, there's gonna be no photo op,
not in dis climate, not after what's happened to you,
mister president, Now what just happened to Charlie Kirk. We're
gonna take the elevator and you can yell at me
all the way up. That's okay, that's my job. Let's go.
(37:35):
I don't trust the Secret Service. I've said it before.
I'm not saying everybody. There's some people at the Secret
Service I don't know if it's just in competence or
if it's wilful, but I don't trust the Secret Service.
They keep making mistake after mistake after mistake. C C
(37:57):
in Lexington, Thanks for holding C and welcome CEC.
Speaker 6 (38:05):
Hello.
Speaker 1 (38:06):
Oh hi Cecy, go ahead.
Speaker 6 (38:08):
I'm sorry. I just wanted to say that I think
that definitely they did something and the UN and New
York were involved. They wanted to give Jimmy Kimball some
type of skit for the night. You know what, I guess.
I guess that was terrible. And they're showing their two
(38:30):
colors now. Jimmy Kimball his contracts up on twenty twenty
sixth January. And I hope Bob from Disney does not
get involved because he's the one that put him back,
the one that puts snow White as a man. Yeah,
that one. Thanks. You know, I really appreciate this. If
(38:52):
they ever had Kamala Harris would be in breadlines. New
York will be in breadlines. Thank you, President Trump. If
you are SONNYA the best president we ever had.
Speaker 1 (39:03):
Thank you, Cci. New York is gonna be in breadlines.
They're going to elect Mom Donnie barring A miracle. Now
they're gonna get their government run grocery stores. So whatever,
you get, what you vote for. I mean, I don't
know what else to say. New Yorkers have been warned
and warned and warned and warned, and they've been told
of the consequences. So you know, we'll see what happens.
(39:25):
But no, look like, as I said, this was supposed
to be a disaster for Trump. They wanted a pr nightmare.
They wanted the president on the ground, on the escalator,
the first lady on the ground on the escalator. So
late night comedians and others and the CNNs and the
MSNBC's okay, and the nightly news, they would run wild.
(39:48):
They would show this image again and again. Look how
weak Trump is. He's on the ground. Look at him.
He's He's prostrate on the round, lying there helpless. He's
too old. I mean, you could just go on and
the comedians like the Jimmy Well, he's not even a comedian.
(40:09):
He's a politician masquerading. He's a Democrat masquerading as a comedian.
He's a hack. But the Stephen Colberts and the Jimmy
Kimmels and the Jimmy fallons, and and all these losers
would just be mocking Trump incessantly and mocking the first
lady incessantly. And if one of them could have broken
(40:30):
a bone or broken an ankle or broken a leg,
that would have been even better. So this, this is
the state of our country now, this is this is
what we're dealing with on the left. So the president
now of the United States, just think, I don't care
what you know, what party the president is. You don't
do stuff like this to the President of the United States.
(40:52):
And we bankrolled the UN. That to me is what's
the most the most galling thing of all. We pull
out our funding. That's twenty two percent the UN is
basically it's nothing. They can't even put the lights on
without us. And this is how you treat us. Six
one seven two six six sixty eight, sixty eight. I've
(41:16):
been saying this for my entire life. Get the United
Nations out of the United States. It is the most worthless,
corrupt body on the face of the earth. And I'm
telling you that's saying something. Give it to France. I
don't know, I give it to someone. Give it to China.
(41:38):
I'm serious. You guys want you want it, you have
it to me. It's one massive waste of money, one
massive boondoggle. Six one seven two six six sixty eight
sixty eight. David in Brookline. Thanks for holding, David, and welcome.
Speaker 4 (41:58):
Good morning, Jeff. It's really uncanny. The reason that I
don't call much lately is because everything I'm about to
go on you make my point for me, so I
have to come up with with something else. I agree
with everything that you just said. I mean, what what
does I'll just add what what does the United Nations do?
(42:19):
They they drink, they party, their degenerates, and they debate
back and forth and nothing gets done. That's that's point
one point two. Agreed with what you said. At the
very least, At the very least, this was a form
another form of their protest. At the very most, Jeff,
(42:39):
think about it. It's a form of terrorism, NonStop. Look
what we can do. They just killed rest in peace,
Charlie Kirk the mental case yesterday that was found guilty,
the lunatic. I mean, we can get at you. It
is a It is a form of terrorism. And think
(42:59):
about to Jeff, think about how President Trump's first wife, Ivanka.
If I'm not mistaken, I know they said that she
might have had a heart attack, but didn't she fall
down a flight of stairs? They said, I mean, you know,
President Trump is a either remarkable person, whether you like
him or don't like him, or you love him as
a president. He keeps it very strong and cheerful face
(43:25):
and makes a joke. But you don't think that he
thought about that for a split second. That's why it's
a form of terrorism. And then and then finally, Jeff,
a stream of consciousness because you alluded to this a
few minutes ago. You know, the way of making us
look weaker? Wasn't it Obama that said? Or gotta how
could a US president say this? America needs to be
(43:47):
knocked down a few pegs? Who the heck said something
like that, especially the president? And then finally again stream
of consciousness. Nobody's ever held accountable.
Speaker 5 (43:58):
You think that?
Speaker 4 (43:59):
I mean, comy eighty six forty seven, look at the
interesting seashells. I mean, I think I could speak for
a lot of people out there. Your listeners were sick
of it, absolutely, and you alluded to this a few
minutes ago. We're sick of it. I mean, what is
it that these people want?
Speaker 8 (44:20):
They're either brainwashed lunatics, or it's the globalists who, under
the guise of saying they want to help humanity, want
to control everything and become richer and more.
Speaker 4 (44:32):
Powerful and the rest of us can eat crumbs. I
know it was all.
Speaker 5 (44:35):
Over the board, Jef.
Speaker 1 (44:36):
No, you're dead on David. Look, you hit every single
point and much of those points Trump raised yesterday in
a spectacular speech to the UN, which I promise I'm
going to get to because the meat and bones of
it are are incredible. The content was riveting. I mean
it was powerful. You want to talk about truth to
power he gave. He delivered a lashing, a tongue lashing
(45:01):
to the UN and to the globalists. He threw down
the gauntlet. So he's basically saying, I'm not afraid of you,
but like I'm just telling you, I'm coming, I'm coming
for you. And look, I want to read this, and David,
thank you for your call, because this is from not
the David on the on the air that we just had,
but another David. This is what he wrote to me
a messenger and I'm sorry to have to read this,
(45:23):
but we have to. We have to be cognizant now
of our surroundings and our circumstances. Jeff, I can't help
but think that this was a dry run for an
assassination attempt. Both President Trump and the First Lady were
funneled into a small area and they were stationary. You know,
(45:46):
I thought the exact same thing. I'm looking at this
and I'm.
Speaker 5 (45:51):
Like, whoa.
Speaker 1 (45:53):
So you just press a button. The escalator stops right,
and the President steps on it the second, the moment,
the mill ofsecond, he steps on it. So the First
Lady goes ahead, then he follows and it stops. And
now they're both like kind of like jolted a little bit.
(46:13):
They're like what what just happened? And they both turned
their heads and like what's going on? If you wanted
to take them out, they're in a small area. They
can't go anywhere. I mean, technically they can run up
the escalator, yes, but you're completely exposed. You are. You
(46:34):
couldn't be more vulnerable. And i mean you're talking about what,
forget two hundred yards, forget even one hundred yards here,
you're talking twenty feet, twenty twenty five feet, thirty feet.
That's why I'm watching this and I'm like, how the
hell could this have happened? They literally let the President
(46:58):
and the First Lady twist in the wind and they
were hanging out to dry. Now Again, thank you God
that this wasn't an assassination attempt. It looks like it
was just sabotage or some kind of a joke or whatever.
Either a joke or sabotage. Okay, but to me, it's
(47:19):
clearly deliberate. But you can easily, you know, you smuggle
a gun in there. The President's a sitting duck. He
was a sitting duck. And and that's why I'm not
believe me, I'm not the only one. MAGA is furious
about this, and they're really angry at the Secret Service.
(47:42):
You never leave the president in that kind of a
potentially vulnerable position, like guys, you don't know how to
do your freaking job anymore. So you stick them in
an elevator, You surround them with an army of security,
and you put him in the first Lady and they
go up. You minimize any possible risk or chances of
(48:06):
a shooting or an assassination to the president of the
United States, especially now,
