Speaker 1 (00:00):
Six one seven two six six sixty eight sixty eight
is the number. Okay, I promise I'm gonna go back
to the phone calls. Uh, just please take about a minute,
and I want you to just take this in now.
I want to give a hot tip to John F.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Gately.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
He's the one who put the numbers up and now
they're going viral. It is the percentage of SNAP users
by city or town in Massachusetts. And this is you know,
we're saying, well, where are the numbers coming from. This
is straight from the Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance. So

(00:39):
these are numbers straight from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts from
the government. These are the top ten cities or towns
whose populations are on SNAP. And I gotta tell you
I'm a little surprised. The number one on that list
is Springfield. Springfield forty seven percent forty seven point four.

(01:06):
I'm just gonna round off for simplicity's sake, Okay, Springfield
number one. Forty seven percent of the population in Springfield
are on SNAP on food stamps. Number two Holyoake forty
three percent. Number three Lawrence, the sanctuary city of Lawrence,

(01:30):
forty two percent, forty one point seven forty two percent.
I'll be honest, I thought Lawrence would be number one.
If you were to ask me, you know, like on
a game show the number one city in Massachusetts on
food stamps or snap, I'd say Lawrence. No, Lawrence is
number three. Springfield is number one, thirty six percent. Southbridge

(01:53):
they're number four, thirty six percent, Fall River, Fall River
number five thirty four point three percent. New Bedford next
thirty four point two percent, Brockton at number eight thirty
three point six percent, North Adams number nine thirty three

(02:18):
point five percent, and number ten Fitchburg thirty point three percent.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
That's a lot. I mean, that's a lot. That's a lot.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
And almost all of these towns in cities are sanctuary cities,
almost all of them. The one that surprises me at Springfield.
I didn't think it was that high number one, but
that high.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
Lawrence.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Yes, I mean I knew that Holyoake, Yes, Fall River, Yes, Brockton.
I knew there were illegals in Brockton, and I knew
there were people on food stamps, but not that high.
To be honest, New Bedford, yes, but this is a
little bit surprising. I'm just saying so that's the top

(03:12):
ten list. You can look it up mass DTA and
you can see where your town or city is ranked
percentage of the population. Okay, very quickly, this is a
text again from Grace. She rarely texts me throughout the
entire show, but she's been doing this today because this
is a very very you know, this topic obviously gets

(03:33):
to her. Jeff, we need to have a plan going forward.
And the question now is should the Republicans in Congress
just end the filibuster i e. Invoke the nuclear option?
What do you do when Democrats are clearly sabotaging Trump

(03:57):
and American citizens, they are holding us hostage. Something has
to be done before millions of Americans go hungry or
god forbid, a plane crash happens. We are trying to
save the constitution, and it is noble, but they are

(04:21):
trying to destroy. In fact, they are destroying the country
and this is just unacceptable. In other words, Grace's point is,
we're talking about which is beautiful, don't get me wrong,
and noble, but we're talking the constitution, checks and balances,

(04:42):
you know, rule of law, protect our country in the future.
In other words, these noble ideals, they're just destroying the country.
They're just they're burning it down. And so Grace is
basically saying, I guess, pretty much like Trump, it's time
to pick the off and we can worry about the
filibuster and everything else down the road. In other words,

(05:07):
and the filibuster invoked the nuclear option. Smash the Democrats,
stop this before it gets out of hand.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
Ah.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
I don't like to give up the filibuster because I
know what Democrats do when they're in power. But I'm
starting to see the logic of the other side now,
I'm starting to see it. Six one seven two six
six sixty eight sixty eight. Dave in New Hampshire, Thanks
for holding Dave, and welcome.

Speaker 4 (05:39):
Hey, good morning, jeffin Olaia.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
I'm good. How are you, Dave?

Speaker 4 (05:42):
I'm good. Thanks, thanks for taking my call, pleasure had
I had a couple of comments, and but first before
I I I wanted to say thank you to you
for I'm the one to call back in the summer
the fifty four year old bet that you know wasn't
getting anything and you told me to call it mask
the mass disabled veterans there you remember that?

Speaker 3 (06:05):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (06:06):
I remember that?

Speaker 3 (06:06):
Yeah, well I did.

Speaker 4 (06:08):
I called them and things are actually happening now and
I have some of the benefits and things are actually progressing,
So I want to I appreciate that.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Good, very good. I'm very happy you just made my day. Dave.

Speaker 4 (06:24):
I'm just tell you that. But yeah, I wanted to
tell you, like about a few years ago, my wife
and I. I was out of work and she was
making a very little money, and we went to go
and and we we went to get to the DCA
and Salem, mass you know, Bob a transitional assistance. They
turned us down.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Oh Dave, can you please hang on six one seven
two six six sixty eight. Sixty eight is the number. Okay,
We're going to go back to Dave in New Hampshire
and take all of your calls, I promise. But first
joining us now, as she always does at this time,
she is the co founder, CEO president of Kelly Financial Services,

Speaker 2 (08:51):
Eighteen eighty one.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
Or if you prefer, you can email her directly Kelly
at Kellyfinancial dot org. Kelly at Kelly Financial dot org. Okay,
let's go right back to Dave in New Hampshire. So
disabled veteran was out of work. By the grace of God,
there go many of us. His wife was working but

(09:14):
wasn't making that much money or enough money. They needed help.
They needed food stamps, snap, and they went to the
Department of Transitional Assistance. Please Dave, pick up where we
left off.

Speaker 4 (09:28):
Okay, so, yeah, my wife wasn't making much money. I
was out of work. Luckily it wasn't for that long
of a time, but I mean we barely had enough
for the rents, never mind anything else. We went to
the TOBAMAA Transitional Assistance and Salem, mass and they originally
gave us, They give us sixteen dollars a month, and
you can imagine how little that gets you a month,
and the second the first month they gave it to us.
The second month they did. And then they sent a

(09:48):
letter saying that I made too much money the year before.
But this is now a poll of May of the
new year, and I haven't made any money now in
over three months, So I don't know what that had
do with it. And they cut us off completely. And
then we went to a couple of food banks. And
I don't want to blame all food banks, because I'm
sure there are good ones, but the two that we
went to one and Salem one in PVD. We went through,

(10:10):
picked a few things, you know, a couple of bags
or the stuff. And at the end they said, oh,
you knew we have to ask yous and questions, you know, income,
blah blah blah. And then they asked us how many
children do you have. I said, well, we don't have
any children. We never did. And they said, oh, well
then you can't come here anymore, apparently because after eighteen
years old you don't eat any longer. So all these people,
like I said, these illegals that get everything handed to them,

(10:31):
I've never asked for a dime of anybody. I I
collected unemployment one time when I first came out of
the army, because you could. And and I just I've
had it with all these people, like is that sixty percent?
And there are legals on there and they get two
grand a month, and so like you know, how many
people I know they are elderly or veterans. And like
I said, it was sixteen back then, now it's twenty

(10:51):
two dollars a month that they've given them. What what
are you going to get with that? You know? And
I just I don't understand it, and I don't think
they should get the filibuster. And I agree with it
was Dan who said Trump needs to address the nation
because so many people do not know. They just know
what ABC, NBC, so forth down on the line tells
them on TV. And if Trump needs to get this

(11:15):
information out, like you said, exactly why the government is
shut down and doing and you know, weaponizing hunger. Like
I said, how many veterans are out there? How many
elderly people that don't have anything. I have a seventy
year old neighbor, you know, next door. She has a
very fixed income. And I already told her tomorrow I'm
gonna take her with me and we're gonna go to

(11:35):
market basket and I'm gonna buy a couple hundred dollars
worth of groceries. I can't help everyone, but I can
help one.

Speaker 1 (11:41):
Oh God, bless you Dave, Seriously, God bless you, Dave. Look,
that's sixteen dollars. I know now it's twenty two, but
when you went that's sixteen dollars. That's an insult. I'm
not trying to rile you up. I'm just being honest.
That's a slap in the face. That's a spit in
the face. Pooh here, that's what it is. I'm sorry, Dave.

(12:02):
If you don't mind me asking, and if I'm getting personal,
please tell me. I promise I won't be offended. When
you went to the food banks and they said, no,
that's it, you know, here's your two groceries and don't
come back. Or when you went to the Department of
Transitional Assistance, did you tell.

Speaker 6 (12:19):
Them you're a veteran?

Speaker 2 (12:20):
Did they know you were a veteran?

Speaker 1 (12:23):
Like did you say, you know, hey, I served my country,
you know, I put my life on the line for
all of you.

Speaker 2 (12:29):
Like, did they know that? Did you tell them?

Speaker 4 (12:32):
I did? But they don't care about that. At the
Department of Transitional Assistance, there wasn't a single person in there,
and there was a lot of people in there. We
had to wait a while. There was not a single
person in there. They spoke English, including the people working there,
you know, Bailey and they didn't care. I mean the
people that were in there were pretty much the people.
They are the same ones that are all collecting and

(12:52):
now and they've just given it to the people. They
don't care about us, the Americans, you know. Like I said,
I mean, I have a good job now and because
of you know, your advice called Master av, I got
things really rolling there. Things are going well now. But
I've been through bad times and I know many have
and we don't get the help that we need. But
they getting Like I said, I mean, how many how

(13:14):
much does it add up to a month, like with
heally down there, think ought to live in New Hampshire.
Now I'm frumbling, but how much does it add up
to with the hotels, the three meals a day, the
uber rides, the phones, you know, and and I'm getting
They give me and my life for two people sixteen
dollars them and then cut it off after two months
because I made too much money.

Speaker 3 (13:34):
Of the year before.

Speaker 4 (13:35):
These people have been getting there for twenty years, some
of them. Then their kids are getting it, nit Ran kids.
It's unbelievable, Jeff. You know, I just and up in
New Hampshire. You know, we have a different rights, you know,
like when you know, when it comes down to firearms
and stuff. And I hope these stupid idiots don't try
to start taking bags from people in the parking lots
stuff in New Hampshire, because that's when bad things are
going to happen. You know, you know what I mean.

(13:57):
I just and you you know I would be careful
on buying stuff for people because it's gonna be a
lot of scammers out here, not only a people gonna You're.

Speaker 1 (14:05):
Right, Dave, You're right. I gotta say the moment I
said it. You know, this is how great all of
you are, you and the whole audience. But I got
emails and texts and Jeff, be careful. There's scammers out there.
They're gonna fleece you. Man, They're gonna rob you blind, Jeff.
So I'm like, no, I hear you. I hear you.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
Dave. Listen again.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
I want to thank you for your service and God
bless you in every way. God bless you and what
you're doing for that neighbor tomorrow. You have a heart
of gold, Dave. And thank you for sharing that story.
I know Trump's people are listening. That story is so
powerful and it literally lays out exactly what's wrong with

(14:45):
everything the Democrats are doing to our country. People like
you who earned it weren't getting eight. And illegals are
stealing us. They're robbing us blind God bless you and Dave,
please don't be a stranger. Call again six one seven,
two sixty six, sixty eight sixty eight. So there you

(15:06):
have it in a nutshell serves this country hits hard times.
Sixteen bucks a month, blank you two months, and then ah,
you make too much money last year, so nothing, that's it,
no more. And then he and his wife go to
a food bank. Here's two groceries. Oh no children, No, well,

(15:26):
then don't come back. You think any illegal alien has
ever been told that sixteen bucks they give that to
an illegal an hour? What for the whole month? That's
an hour if an hour, and they they get all
the food they want.

Speaker 3 (15:46):
Here.

Speaker 1 (15:47):
People are sending me emails with images cars that the
trunks stuffed with food and these are illegals on food stamps.

Speaker 2 (15:59):
But you can fit it in.

Speaker 1 (16:01):
There are so many grocery bags like it's disgusting. And
I gotta say, I don't want to be cruel, but
some of these illegals. You know, they could go on
a diet. In other words, the foodstamps get cut off tomorrow.
That could be a good diet for some of these illegals,

(16:21):
you know, the shutdown diet. They could go for a
good week or ten days without eating just water. I mean,
holy shimoli, jeez, I mean they make me look slim.
Six one seven two six six sixty eight sixty eight.

(16:42):
Mel in Saratoga, New York. Thanks for holding Mel and welcome.

Speaker 7 (16:48):
Yeah, good morning, Jeff.

Speaker 3 (16:49):
How are you today?

Speaker 2 (16:49):
I'm good? How are you? Melt?

Speaker 3 (16:51):
No?

Speaker 7 (16:52):
Considering what all this madness that's going on in this
country perpetrated by the Democrats, you know, it's up in air.
But Jeff, I wanted to ask, what is the possibility
of a recall of Michelle Woo and what's the name
that it is the governor there.

Speaker 2 (17:09):
Of lay hold it Heally Healey?

Speaker 4 (17:12):
Right?

Speaker 7 (17:12):
I mean, don't the people in Massachusets to have a
right for a recall, say, even if there were one
hundred thousand signatures on a petition to break to the
Assembly or whatever.

Speaker 1 (17:26):
Mel, My buddy, I hate to break it to you,
but our moonbats are even crazier than your moonbats. And
I know you're gonna say, come on, Jeff, nobody's crazier
than ours. Michelle Woo is going to win election in November,
not just in a landslide. Mel And I would think
you live to screw me. Like, if you haven't screwed
me at least once a show, you're like, you're not

(17:48):
a happy man.

Speaker 2 (17:49):
We're back on all right, nine.

Speaker 1 (17:54):
Nine eight on the Great w RKO Jeff Cooner Boston's
Bulldozer six one seven two six Sex sixty eight sixty
eight Phil in Salem, thanks for holding Phil, and welcome
a fellow Croatian.

Speaker 3 (18:12):
Good morning, and happy Halloween from the Witch City.

Speaker 2 (18:15):
Has the Halloween, my fellow Croatian.

Speaker 3 (18:19):
Anybody wonder how much money has been collected from the
marijuana tacks in this state. It's amazing, but we have
never heard of how much money has actually been collected
from the marijuana tax, and you never will because that
is an.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
Astounding high point.

Speaker 3 (18:40):
Now that is twenty percent, and then also with sales tax,
I think it winds up being about twenty four percent.
So you know, go in any marijuana shop and that
stuff's not cheap. I assure you I go there because
I buy the bomb from my neuropathy. And you know something,

(19:01):
people are dropping a couple of hundred dollars every time
they're in there.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
So seriously, are you just joking?

Speaker 7 (19:08):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (19:08):
The bomb itself and I'm a retired chemist in the
biomedical industry, is forty dollars fridgear one ounce. But it
works okay, and topically it's better than taking pain pills,
that's for sure. But all the money they collect from that.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
Sorry, Philip, I don't promise.

Speaker 1 (19:29):
I'll let you finish your point, but no, really, So
when you go to the local whatever, pot shop, cannabis shop,
whatever you're saying, you see customers dropping hundreds of dollars.

Speaker 3 (19:38):
Really, you buy an ounce, they usually sell them by
the eighth of the quarter rounds, and you're going anywhere
six hundred dollars an ounce for good stuff.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
Holyd you're looking at an ounce.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
Sure, because you're looking at THAC levels that are around
anywhere from twenty four to thirty two percent, which is
six five to six times higher than what it was
when I was a kid back in the seventies.

Speaker 2 (20:01):
Wow, man, that's a lot.

Speaker 3 (20:02):
But that's a lot of money. But they've never heard
They always tell you we made money from this tax
on that. But you know what, if you notice also
about miss Healy and her reprobate lieutenant governor who destroyed
Salem Drisco, who, by the way, looks like she should
be on a snap diet, that's for sure. She gets
so big she's going to get her own freaking zip code.

(20:25):
But one of the problems is if you notice, after
the cocaine bust out in Springfield, suddenly now they're going
to stop the thirteen percent hiking electricity. We didn't hear
anything about that until you know, some bad news came up.
So it's amazing.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
I got to ask you this.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
You're obviously a shrewd man, a worldly man, and insightful man.
This Rainy Day funds. It's even many liberals in the media,
I've never seen this before. They're like, this is odd.
You know, New York is at least going to do
a stopgap temporarily Connecticut, Vermont, Maine, Rhode Island, but she won't.

(21:12):
And they're the ones saying there's eight billion in the
Rainy Day Fund. I mean, there's plenty of money to
keep these snap payments going for a week or ten days.
Easy if she wanted to. So my question to you is, Phil,
do you think she's not topping into the fund because
she's spent the fund. In other words, she spent it

(21:33):
all on the illegals, and now she doesn't know what
to do, so she's playing stupid. I mean serious, I'm
just curious, what's your theory.

Speaker 3 (21:42):
Not just her, it's the whole problem with the one
potty state. Yeah, I worked in Woolburn for many years
and I remember the hotels were always empty around there,
but not when she was putting them up at the
Hotel Healy. You know those hotel rooms, even if there's
the botel's sixth type, you know, palk the car in

(22:02):
front and get your door, it's still a lot of money.
Every hotel comes fit in quality in They were all
packed so only had people coming in from out of
town for conventions and conferences. You couldn't stay in the
town that they were going to go to a meeting
at because they were all packed with non speaking parasites

(22:23):
from third world countries who, like you said earlier, come
here because of a free handout, which, by the way,
by handing them any money, we're already breaking the federal laws.
That have been on the books for over a century.
As you know, and I know when you came through
Ellis Island, every one of those people had to promise
not to take federal assistance to ten years. Now we

(22:44):
just hand the money. Meanwhile, vet's get kicked in the
act pod my French, they kicked it to the side
of the street. They get treated like dirt. Sixteen dollars
You know what's sixteen dollars will buy you. I can't
even buy you a jar of balm if you have
oupritis and neuropathy at a pot shop. So it's astounding.
And one quick thing, let us not go to the

(23:06):
nuclear option. Does people forget that Harry Reid when he
bought the Nucclear option found up shoving Obamacare where the
sun doesn't shine. Boy, do we don't need that?

Speaker 2 (23:16):
I remember that?

Speaker 1 (23:17):
No, Phil, That's why I'm so reluctant to go that,
you know, do the nuclear option and end the filibuster.

Speaker 2 (23:22):
No, that's I know.

Speaker 1 (23:23):
My wife is now disagreeing with me on this, but
I'm like, no, man, I remember Obamacare.

Speaker 2 (23:29):
No, no, no, no, no.

Speaker 1 (23:31):
I don't want to repeat of that. So my fellow Croatian, please, hey,
don't be a stranger. Call again, my fellow American friend.
That's why I'm sorry. I'm again standing the filibuster. I
remember what it was like in the past when we
were out of power, and we need that filibuster. I'm
telling you we need it. Dan in New Hampshire, Thanks

(23:55):
for holding Dan, and welcome.

Speaker 6 (23:59):
Thanks for taking the car. Jeff, you want to know
what a communism, You want to know what a communist
and a socialist is. Look at Woo, look at Heley,
using the population, using the disabled, people, the children, everyone
that needs this funding that you basically give them it
so they can't take care of themselves. You give, you give,

(24:21):
you give, you give, and then all of a sudden
you say, oh, we're going to stop this. We're gonna
cut all these benefits that we gave you. We're gonna
now enlist you in and basically have an uprising at
every store, at every venue that serves food. People are
gonna go ballistic over this, Jeff. When you've got people

(24:44):
who are disgraceful like Woo, like Healey, who are basically
communists and socialists that are using the population against this,
A successful gun.

Speaker 1 (24:55):
I guess a successful president all you're dead on. They're
weaponizing hunger and
