Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay, we are a couple days away from potentially, I
hope not, but potentially a food slash hunger crisis, as
food stamps SNAP benefits as they're now called, will run
out for millions and millions of Americans due to the
ongoing government shutdown. Morahey is directly blaming Trump. She's in fact,
(00:22):
sent a despicable letter, an email to every foodstamp recipient
in Massachusetts saying that your benefits are going to be
cut off on November first, this Saturday, all because of
President Trump. It is a lie, it is demagoguery, it
is despicable, and this is a brilliant text from six
(00:45):
one seven. By the way, you can text the cooner
man seven zero four seven zero seven zero four seven
zero Jeff. If Morahey hadn't squandered almost three billion dollars,
Holy Molly, giving illegals free everything, she would have plenty
(01:06):
of money to fund SNAP and look like a hero.
This would get her easily reelected. Instead, she blames Trump
for the mess that she created. Bingo bingo ka in Rockland,
thanks for holding k and welcome.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
This.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
We put away people that abuse children, elderly things like that.
Here we have the Democratic Party of the last twenty
years or so that have been abusing all of us,
we the people, and you're correct about Mara Healey and
all the rest of the Democrat liberals that are starving
(01:54):
the people. It is not President Trump, it is them.
They are losing their cause because they like to keep
people implavished. They have no other cause. They will not
get a paycheck unless they do that. They are abusing
we the people, and the we the people arising the
illegal immigrants or people that have come into this country
to get free, this free everything. They have given them
(02:17):
an entitlement feeling of having everything. So now it's not
fists or knives, it's shooting. They are coming into the businesses,
they are severy they are taking and being the rest
of it. Put them back on the street to do more.
Right is wrong and wrong as right as I have said,
and call them the follow They need to have their
paychecks stopped. They need to open up their houses and
(02:39):
house their cause.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
They would not.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
Need to use taxpayers money if they did that, and
they do have the means to do that. That's my say.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
Okay, you're dead on, you're absolutely I mean, you're really
exposing their double standards and their sheer hypocrisy. The thing is,
as you know, they would never open their homes to illegals,
They would never spend the dime of their money on illegals.
You see, that's for UK, that's for me, that's for
this audience, that's for the taxpayers not all. Where are
the ones that have to take them into our communities
(03:11):
and our neighborhoods and you know, pay for them out
of our taxes? So you see they're see, they're all
they're big spenders. They're awfully generous with our money. Notice
how cheap they are with their own money. Kay, I've
got to ask you, because this is now obviously the
sixty four thousand dollars question, what do you think is
(03:31):
going to happen on Saturday? In other words, you know,
people start going hungry, They're going to start going to
those grocery stores. I don't think they're bluffing, and they're
going to start stealing and thieving and looting, and fights
may break out and people could be seeing, you know,
being harassed in parking lots, and you know they'll rip
the grocery bags out of you know, shoppers's arms. Do
(03:55):
you think we are going to have a a you know,
a serious problem on Saturday. Are we going to be
facing a hunger crisis? And is this exactly what the
Democrats want?
Speaker 3 (04:06):
This is what the Democrats want. They are looking forward
to this, but it's backfiring on them. They're putting the
noose around their own necks and hanging themselves. The people,
the people of the United States of America, they are
well onto their theory and what they're doing, what they're backing,
and they're not going to tolerate it. It's going to stop.
They don't understand that God gave us President Trump for
(04:29):
a reason and he is doing God's work and it's
not he that is starving or taking away entitlements. If
you don't work, like in the Bible, if you do
not work, you don't you go hungry. This generational welfare
that's been going on for fifty years, that was all
started by the Democrats, but for the right reasons. Now
it's the wrong reasons, and we the people are wising
(04:52):
up to it finally, both Republicans, liberals and the old Democrats.
And I'm not talking about the age. I'm talking about
the thinking of what the Democratic Party, what their thoughts
were what their basis was basic. If they're not doing
that now and people are having have had enough, you
don't see the Republicans shooting hit the coffs doing any
(05:14):
of that.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
You just have to take a.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
Look at who is doing all this. It's the backing
by the Democrat Party.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
Okay, very well said, very well said. Thank you for
that call, Kay David in Charlton, Thanks for holding David,
and welcome.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
Good morning, Jeff ll be first setting. God bless you
and your family and your radio team.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
And Mike with his finger on the trigger there with
itchy sometimes, but yeah, on the on the issue of
the staff benefits, I'm not sure if you're aware that
here in Massachusetts with the EVT system, it rolls over
from months to month. So let's say you're a family
that you get five hundred dollars on the first of
the month and you don't spend it by the thirtieth, Well,
(06:01):
you're just to add another five hundred on top of
what you got left the next first of the month.
And somebody did a spot audit a couple of years ago,
I want to say it was mass fiscal and the
majority of families in Massachusetts on staff benefits had thousands
of dollars in their accounts. So I don't think anyone
around here is going to have a real problem, you know.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
And wow, Wow, David, I had no Boy, you just
taught me something. Six one seven two six six sixty
eight sixty eight is the number. Okay, let's go right
back to David and Charlton. Uh, David, I had no
idea that here in mass foodstaff recipients. Let's say for
(06:46):
a family, they get a five hundred dollars you know,
they get five hundred dollars deposited into their card, into
their EBT or snap card, and it rolls over every month.
If they don't use up the money, it rolls over.
And you've got many, many people in Massachusetts now with
thousands of dollars on their account. So you're saying, Jeff,
(07:08):
I don't wouldn't worry too much about Saturday or Sunday
because there's a lot of people in Massachusetts with loaded
up snap cards. They can weather the next couple of days. David,
I'm just curious, do you think one of the benefits
of the shutdown the silver lining, just like Doge exposed,
(07:31):
how much waste fraud and abuse there was in foreign
aid in the federal government. Now we're starting to see
how many Americans are on food stamps, forty two million,
many of them, what sixty percent of illegals now are
on food stamps. You just found that out. How many
(07:51):
of them are these migrants that Biden brought in during
his four years in office, and obviously here in Massachusetts,
that's a stunning number. One million people in Massachusetts, many
of them illegals are food stamp beneficiaries. That's literally one
(08:12):
out of seven. Are you shocked at the numbers and
at the extent of the fraud how many people are
on food stamps who have no business being on food stamps?
Speaker 2 (08:27):
Well, Being a lifelong Massachusetts residence, I can tell you
nothing really shocks me anymore coming out of Boston. You know,
the fraud and the corruption. You want to talk about
a way to balance the budget, Let's just cut out
some of this fat that we don't be needing. But
that's another story for another day. As far as just
(08:48):
people leading food, Yeah, being Christians like most of us are,
we shouldn't turn our backs on folks in need, and
even refugees and immigrants who come into the country, yet
give them a one month cash to get yourself set up,
you know, so you can find a job, and find
a church and find a food bank. You need a
little bit of transition helped to get through. An old
(09:10):
boss of mine used to say a great saying, it's
a safety net. It's not a hammock. You know, you
get to just use it for what it was meant
for a little transitional assistance. I'll tell you a quick
antidote of my own. I was at Walmart a couple
of years ago. It was Christmas time, and I had
taken a tag off a giving tree. A young child
had wanted some legos, So I went out and I
(09:31):
bought some legos to give to this giving tree. And
I was standing in line a Walmart behind a young
teenage couple who were buying diet soda and ice cream,
sandwiches and steaks and bags of shrimp and Doritos and
all other junk food hohos and rings. And I'm standing
there ready to spend my money to give back to
(09:51):
somebody you need. And guess what comes out at the
end of that EVT card swiped it through for five
six hundred dollars worth of yump food, garbage, whatever it
was I was, I just saw red. I kept my
tongue though, you know, just paid for paid for the
gift I was giving back to somebody else and walked away.
(10:12):
But it makes you think if they really could track
down how much of this waste, lard abuse is really
being used. Balanced budget is not a hard thing to fire.
Speaker 1 (10:21):
Oh we balanced the budget easy, Oh, David, you hit
the nail on the head. Oh, and we'd have money
left over, what you know, forget balancing the budget. Really, honestly,
we'd have money for roads, we'd have more money for police,
fire department, giving teachers better salaries. I could go on
(10:41):
and on. I mean, it's this is bankrupting us. There's
no question, there's no it's an invasion. Look twenty one
this is just Biden. They've come out now with the
They finally have found out how many legals he let in. Hey,
this is this is this is what the latest figure
is now in four years, twenty one million illegals Biden
(11:05):
let in twenty one million. David, that's not you know,
migrants coming in. Migrants coming in is one hundred thousand,
you know, fleeing a war here, a war there or whatever.
This is an invasion or this was an invasion, and
it was a deliberate invasion. And now we're finding out
(11:27):
he put them all on welfare. It's as they were
denying it. He put it. He didn't just fly him
around in the dead of night. Oh no, he put
them on welfare. Baby, I E on our dime. We're
paying for these people. Twenty one million. That's a country.
(11:47):
So David, great call, outstanding call. Okay, look, I want
to read this to you. Please don't get upset. Truth
is power. Knowledge is power. You need to know this
because now the hustle is coming out. So it's not
just the sheer numbers which are staggering, and it's not
(12:09):
just now that you have people that you know it's
illegal to give illegals food stamps, or people that they
said we're not getting food stamps turned out to be
they lied to us. And I mentioned how many from Afghanistan,
how many from Iraq, how many from Somalia, how many
from Haiti. But it's even worse. It's even the corruptions
(12:29):
even deeper than that. So this is now even for
not just illegals that do this, even many American citizens
do this. So apparently, now what they do is that
they will buy cases of spam. And apparently this is
a huge thing in Hawaii. I'm not kidding in Hawaii,
(12:54):
so listen now to this, But in many states, but
especially in Ohai. In Hawaii, EBT recipients will go into
grocery stores on the first day of the month and
then they buy spam by the case spam. Some stores
limit the number of cases any one person can buy,
(13:18):
but they're buying cases of spam. They then take the spam.
Listen to this to quote unquote mom and pop vendors,
street vendors, and some with rundown storefront operations in poor neighborhoods.
The vendors buy this spam at a fifty percent discount
(13:40):
because I guess they use it in you know, preparing
sandwiches or foods or whatever they do. Oh oh, I
didn't know that, Sandy, Are you serious? Well, okay, yeah,
Sandy just told me. Apparently Hawaii, for whatever reasons, always
been the biggest market for spam that for whatever reason,
(14:04):
they consume a ton of spam. You can even get
pineapple and spam in cans, like that's how popular it
is anyway, listen, this is the vendors buy the spam
at a fifty percent discount. So the EBT people come in,
they buy cases and stuff. We're paying for all this.
Then they go to the vendors and they buy it
(14:25):
at a fifty percent discount because they use it for
all kinds of stuff, food, sandwiches, whatever. The sellers then
and it's paid in cash, so fifty percent off and
they pay the EBT people in cash. The sellers then
use the cash for drugs and alcohol. And then between
(14:48):
the third or fourth day of the month, but definitely
by the middle of the month, it is impossible, very
difficult to find spam on the shelf of stores in
poor neighborhoods. And apparently I'll tell you about another scam.
(15:12):
On the other side, I'll tell you about another quick scam.
I mean it either you allow for you cry, but
the other scam I'll give it in details. But you
go with the person with the EBT card, and you
tell that person okay, by this, by that, by this,
whatever you know. I like mac and cheese, load it up,
(15:34):
all doritos, load that baby up. Ooh, I could use
a couple of good steaks. Throw that in there. Whatever, no, no, no,
doctor pepper, doctor pepper, no, no, no, don't get me.
Sprite six one seven two six six sixty eight sixty
eight is the number. All right, So you want to
know a bit more about this food stamp scam. So
this is another common pactic. Apparently I didn't know this,
(15:58):
but this is coming many of you in the audience.
I'm just reading one of the many texts I've been
getting on this. So apparently a very common ploy is
that what they do is now, say the Snap card
holder or the EBT card holder will go into the
grocery store or supermarket with the person that is willing
(16:20):
to pay fifty percent of the card's value, meaning, load
up your cart whatever, say three hundred dollars worth of food,
I'll give you one hundred and fifty dollars cash. They
walk off with the food, they get the cash, usually
to spend it on drugs or alcohol. And so what
happens is the buyer is telling the cardholder literally you
(16:43):
can see it asle by aisle by aisle, you know
what to put in the cart. You know, I'm in
the mood for some seafood. Throw some seafood in there. Yeah,
you know what I could I could a I could
go for a good steak. Throw in that steak. Okay,
dear Rito's, Well there's cool ranch. Yeah, No, I like
to not shows. Throw dad in there. Hey, couple of cases,
(17:06):
my favorite diet coke. Load that baby in there. Anyway,
They rack up three four, five hundred dollars. Then in
the in the parking lot, literally the person gives the
cardholder cash fifty percent of it and takes the cart
and goes to his car or truck or whatever and
(17:27):
loads it in. And apparently this they do this every
single month, and apparently it's extremely effective because there's almost
no way to track it or shut it down. And
by the way, and these are texts I'm getting from
people in Rhode Island, obviously, in Massachusetts, people in New Hampshire.
(17:52):
Let me take a look here, Illinois, let me Tennessee, Florida.
Where else is this coming from? Washington State? California? So
I'm just you know, the text, similar scam, but they're
saying this is happening in my state. Jeff, No, Jeff,
you got to see what they're doing here. And it's
so basically they for some reason, they've settled on fifty percent.
(18:17):
So they buy the food that you want, you give
them fifty percent in cash. They take the food and
the other person takes the cash and spends it on
drugs or alcohol. There you go, now what the illegals
are doing. Then this is big in Massachusetts, in California,
(18:37):
in New York. This is a huge thing in blue states.
So this is how the hustle works. The illegal aliens
come in primarily through Biden, but as I've been doing
for the last twenty years, then they drop an anchor baby.
That's the key. You've got to have an anchor baby.
And once you have that, then your gold the anchor baby.
(19:01):
Then the whole family gets snap three hundred dollars for
the father, three hundred dollars for the mother, three hundred
dollars for the anchor baby. So you're looking at nine
hundred dollars if it's just a family of three, okay,
a month. Then you get automatic rent assistance, Section eight housing.
(19:23):
That's yours because it's all through the anchor baby, Medicaid,
free health insurance, you name it. If the parents are smart,
and many of them are, they work cash jobs under
the table, they sell the snap for cash again fifty percent,
(19:45):
so they get even more money in their pocket. And
many of them then send the money back home to
build a retirement home. And these are nice homes and
rem many of the countries they come from. I'm not
insulting them. I'm just saying, you know, I'll Salvador, Nicaragua
(20:06):
or you know, Somalia, or take your pick. You know,
with American dollars you can get some nice land in
some cases nice seafront property, and a nice retirement home,
and all thanks to the stupidity of Uncle Sam, to
the dumb gringo, thank you, Joe Biden, and were you
(20:31):
and I we're paying for all this six one seven
two six six sixty eight sixty eight then me and
by the way, if they would at least say thank you,
I'm serious. If they were like great fool and say, oh,
oh you feed me, you feed my family, you you
shelter me, you, you know, you give me everything, and
their retirement home. I live like king because of you,
(20:55):
a king. Thank you, God bless America. Thank you, I'd say, oh, okay,
at least they're grateful, Oh you're saw in La. They
go on motorcycles and do donuts. We're waving the Mexican
flag or whatever flag and they're giving us the middle finger.
(21:16):
That's that's the thanks we get Denise in Beverly. Thanks
for holding Denise and.
Speaker 4 (21:23):
Welcome doing I get a hurry dis clog sement to
him Chilges. But I just wanted to say that, Yeah,
I feel so bad for the people that, you know,
the Americans, the citizens that are getting no food stamps
for Thanksgiving and maybe Christmas, who knows. But as far
(21:43):
as that stuff goes, you were talking about them selling
their food stamps. That that's been going on, is selling
the stamps for money, and now that clap, I think
they caught that, but I'm sure. But yeah, what what
I wanted to say is Hughey, I just oh my god.
She she wants the vote from from these people. That's
(22:05):
the only she's she's against Trump. That everybody's against Trump
because they want to blame him for everything so they
can get the vote from these illegal people that are
here today. And I just wanted to say this one
last thing, Harry. I think they called me, but Mike
Mene is having a thing this next Thursday at for
(22:25):
twenty seven Park Street, and all the Trump supporters are
going there. He's going against Healy, Mike Maniguel, I think how.
Speaker 1 (22:32):
You spelling Age Minogue? Yeah, Mike Minogue.
Speaker 4 (22:35):
He's against her all completely, and a bunch of us
are going there. It's at six point thirty at four
to twenty seven Park Street. If any of you Trump
supporters want to go.
Speaker 1 (22:45):
Well denise, just so that you know, I'm going to
have all of the Republican candidates who are running to
challenge Morey Healey. I will have them on the show.
At a minimum, I'll interview all three of them and
have the audience also call in to ask them questions
on where they stand on the issues. And of course,
as I do every election cycle, I would love to
(23:06):
have the three of them come in and have a debate.
I will ask them the same questions. I will all
give them the same time, the same amount of time,
and we'll see if they want to come or not.
You know, I think one will not want to come
because they don't want their candidate to be exposed as
a fraud. But we'll see. I don't want to say
(23:26):
any names. I don't want to prejudge anything, but you know,
I will I promise you will know who the candidates are,
where they stand on all the issues, and you will
also get to ask them the questions that are most
important to you. Because Healey must go down. We cannot
survive another four years of mora Heally Bill in Rainom,
(23:49):
thanks for holding Bill and welcome.
Speaker 2 (23:53):
Good money. Jeff Bill, go.
Speaker 1 (23:55):
Ahead, my friend. The flora is yours.
Speaker 5 (23:57):
Yep, thank you. Just a little information I heard yesterday
on an afternoon show. The state of Massachusetts has billions
of dollars in the Rainy Day Fund, plenty of money.
She could she could find me as the EBTs November, December, January,
(24:20):
and she wouldn't be hurting her illegals to ones that
she invited into the state. So that would solve that problem.
The average elally senior linison in the state, the EBT
cat twenty three dollars a month.
Speaker 3 (24:37):
That's all they get.
Speaker 5 (24:38):
I've heard it from a handful of seenias that I
bump into and talk to. That's all they get, twenty
three dollars. As for depending problems at the stores this weekend,
there should be a police president that all grocery stores
at least the cruiser out front to nip this in
(24:59):
the butt, and maybe even since doors should consider closing
if this is really going to be bad. And as
for people walking out of the store, working people having
their grocery stolen from them, I'm sure they're going to
run into a few people who have a little thing
(25:19):
on their hip and all they got to do is
expose it and maybe they'll be left alone. But I
can see people getting assaulted in parking lots. Me being one,
I have a little thing I carry on my hip
and I'll just show it. If they think they're going
to rob my groceries, well, Bill, please be careful.
Speaker 1 (25:37):
I do the grocery shopping on the weekends, usually on Saturday.
I'm just going to be more vigilant. Just be vigilant,
look around all your surroundings, you know, and try to
be I'm not saying we're on to your car, but
try to get to your car quickly.
Speaker 2 (25:53):
You know.
Speaker 1 (25:54):
Don't don't you know, don't be lacsadaisical, you know, because
apparently will be nice and sunny over the weekend. Because
if they're threatening to start grabbing grocery bags out of
people's arms, you know, and they look to me like
they're serious so I hope you're right. I hope there's
more security. I hope there's police cruisers at all of
(26:14):
these places. But just you have to just take precautions
and be vigilant. And if you're a little worried, no problem.
You know what you do. Ask an employee at the
grocery store to walk you to your car, especially if
you're an elderly person or a senior citizen, Say excuse me,
I just need help with my groceries, and have them
(26:34):
help escort you to your car. You know, just be prudent,
that's all I'm saying. Be prudent. Hopefully nothing will happen,
but prepare for the worst, hope for the best, prepare
for the worst. Bill, great call, Thank you, And you're right.
There's so much money in that rainy day fund. Nobody
has to miss a day of food stamps in Massachusetts.
(26:55):
But no, they'd rather have people starve. They've admitted it
to use it as leverage, and they want to blame
it on Trump. And that's why Healy's sending out emails
to food stamp recipients saying you're not going to get
your food stamps because of Trump. I mean that to
me is such a joke, it's so insulting. Never mind
that it's a complete lie.
Speaker 2 (27:18):
To me.
Speaker 1 (27:19):
If I were the White House, I would slam her hard.
I would shame her. How dare you do that? A?
You're fearmongering and B what do you want? You want
to start a riot? So you want people to go
hungry and say Trump is to blame. Honestly, just when
I thought they couldn't go any lower, they just did
(27:41):
all right, joining me now as she always does at
this time, doctor Grace, putting liberals in their place, Grace Vuoto. Yes,
I definitely married up. And she reminds me of this
almost every day, My wonderful wife, Grace Woto. Grace, how
(28:01):
are you?
Speaker 6 (28:02):
I am very well, King Kooner. I don't think you
quote express what our marriage is really like on the air.
Speaker 1 (28:11):
Oh you're saying I have it better than the way
it comes across.
Speaker 6 (28:15):
You know that's the case. You know that's the case.
That's why you tease me so much.
Speaker 1 (28:22):
Grace. I've got to ask you you obviously, and you're
a great cook. And I thought last night, by the
way dinner was, it was delicious, outstanding. But but let
that go as I like to say, people are going
to go hungry this Saturday. Food stamps. The food stamps
are going to stop flowing. Many beneficiaries now millions and
(28:43):
millions of them potentially could go hungry. Many of them
have openly said on TikTok on Instagram, has been widely
reported that they are just going to hit grocery stores,
including here in Massachusetts, and just start looting the stores.
That they're not going to go hungry. They're not going
to let their children go hungry. They're going to come
in with carts baskets and just start throwing food into
(29:06):
those carts and take them right to the car, and
if anybody gets in their way, they say, we're going
to punch them in the face, or there's going to
be a brawl, or but I am not going hungry.
And others are even saying they're going to grab grocery
bags out of shoppers's arms in the parking lot, that
they'll do what they have to do to feed their family.
(29:26):
Are you worried? What's your reaction? Are we facing a
food hunger crisis in three days?
Speaker 6 (29:35):
Jeff, I sincerely believe that we are not facing such
a crisis. I think This is being manufactured and egged
on by the Democrats. This is part of their create
chaos strategy to undermine President Trump. What they really want
is day in day out that the television screens are
(29:56):
full of negative imagery and they want this to be
seared into the minds of the American people to give
the illusion that everything is just dysfunctional and not working
during the Trump presidency. The truth of the matter is
that many of these people, the illegals especially that are
using these government programs, many of them are working also.
(30:21):
They're working under the table. They got money from all
kinds of other sources. And so I think that it's
a fake panic that is being manufactured by the Democrats
because they really just need a strategy to undermine the president.
And the truth of the matter is what Republicans should
do is they should send a letter to every American
(30:41):
household saying Obamacare is a complete failure. As we told
you it was going to be. Remember, Jeff, you and
I were really vocal during that time saying do not
go down this road because this is a road that
is financially unsustainable. And what we're really arguing about is
how can we bail out a program that is financially unsustainable.
(31:06):
Obamacare is bankrupt, and that's why they need subsidies after
subsidies after subsidies, because the program does not work. And
Republicans have been proven right in that we knew it
was going to fail and it is failing.
Speaker 1 (31:20):
In other words, the source of the shutdown for the Democrats.
You're saying, the underlying issue. Republicans need to hammer that
point home again and again. I agree with you, but Grace,
I want to go back, if you don't mind, just
to the food stamps lapsing on Saturday. What is at
twelve oh one am on November first, on Saturday. I'm
(31:40):
just to get your take on this. Forty two almost
forty three million Americans, now one out of eight Americans
are now on food stamps. That's a staggering number. It
actually doubled under Biden, almost all of them illegals, and
just quickly, forty five percent of the migrants that Biden
(32:03):
brought in from Afghanistan forty five percent that's almost a
half food stamps, forty two percent from Somalia that Biden
brought in food stamps, thirty four percent from Iraq food stamps,
Haitians twenty three percent. That's almost one in four food stamps.
(32:24):
And so, by the way, sixty percent of all illegals,
those are the ones that are willing to admit it.
They're on food stamps. So I want to ask you,
is the food stamp program being abused? Number one? And
more importantly, you work hard, you pay taxes. I work hard,
(32:46):
I pay taxes. The listeners to the show work hard
and pay taxes. Should we be paying for the food
of illegal aliens, non citizens and migrants that Joe Biden
brought in?
Speaker 6 (33:01):
Jeff It is absolutely outrageous, and this is what the
Republicans have to reveal day in day out to the people.
There is so much fraud, waste, and abuse. And that's
why I think this so called hunger crisis isn't real
because these people have multiple sources of income. They have
multiple revenue streams, so it's not like, oh my gosh,
(33:25):
they're living hand to mouth and without these food stamps
they won't need no, they live that most people who
work hard day in day out, because they've got multiple
revenue streams, they're just gaming the system. And I think
it's going to be exposed.
Speaker 1 (33:42):
Grace if you were advising the Republicans in Trump. Now
should they make a deal with the Democrats in case
there is you know, people start going hungry, God forbid,
stores start getting looted, the images on the TV screens
of people saying I can't feed my children, people fighting
(34:02):
in grocery stores, people fighting in parking lots. In other words,
this manufactured crisis, as you put it, could blow up
in the Republicans's face. It could hurt the Republicans and
the Democrats could start gaining an advantage. Do you think
the Republicans should cut a deal and end the shutdown
(34:24):
or should they hold the line and force the Democrats
to capitulate.
Speaker 6 (34:29):
I think we have to hold the line on this one, Jeff.
And to tell you the truth, what I'm more concerned
about more than this fake people going hungry crisis is
the air traffic controllers. If you tell me what would
keep me up at night right now if I was
a Republican leader, It's more that our air traffic controllers
are really stretched in This is a really high stress job.
(34:51):
God forbid, something happened, somebody makes a mistake, and there's
a crisis with one of the planes. This is going
to be a catastrophe for both parties. But if you
ask me what worries me, it's the air traffic controllers
not getting paychecks, some of them having to get another
job at the same time that they're doing this high
stress job. I mean, that is nuts. However, I don't
(35:14):
think we have a choice right now. The Republicans have
to hold the line and they have to continue to
expose that Obamacare is bankrupt and that so many of
these programs are actually quote unquote feeding people that have
multiple revenue streams, so more waste and abuse. This is
their moment of opportunity, and this is another chance for
(35:37):
Trump to fix the big problems that he loves to tackle.
He loves to fix big things, he thinks big. He
wants to tackle all of the systemic problems that we
have faced. This is a chance to expose again the
corruption in the food program and to really highlight that
Obamacare is a disaster.
Speaker 1 (35:59):
Grace got about a minute left. Do you think the
Republicans have the guts ultimately to repeal Obamacare and finally
fix it. It's been fifteen years they've been promising, they
haven't delivered. Will this Congress under Trump will they finally
end Obamacare and fix healthcare once and for all?
Speaker 6 (36:23):
Well, Ojeff, you know you're asking a really good question,
because what astonishes me in all this, as much as
I'm really furious at the Democrats, the Republicans are always
flat footed. Like the last statement we have on this
from Johnson is that Scalis is working on a plan. Hello,
working on a plan? Why don't you have an alternative? Ready?
(36:44):
It's not like this is breaking news. We've been dealing
with this since twenty seventeen. We know that the plan is.
The program as it is right now is bankrupt and unsustainable.
Why didn't they have an alternative? Ready?
Speaker 1 (36:57):
Ah, you nailed it as usual. Why they have an alternative?
Speaker 6 (37:00):
Weight?
Speaker 1 (37:01):
And you're dead on
