El gobierno de la Ciudad de México, por medio de la Secretaría de Finanzas, busca actualizar la información de los padrones fiscales de contribuciones, entre las que destacan las del impuesto predial, por eso puso en marcha una regla con la finalidad de conocer cuál es la situación de los inmuebles de uso habitacional que tengan un valor catastral superior a los 4.5 millones de pesos.
Las reglas de operación sobre la declaración informativa fueron publicadas el 18 de febrero de 2025 en la gaceta oficial. De acuerdo con estas, se entienden dos factores: si el inmueble está o no habitado y la modalidad de su ocupación, es decir, para qué se utiliza.
