Speaker 2 (00:20):
And we're back. Hey, everybody, thank you for being here
with me on my birthday to countdown as old way
of His Hill. We are here, all right, y'all. Listen,
I told you I was going to tell you about
the story out of Dallas, Texas. Next next half hour,
I'm gonna tell you a little bit about Coach Prime.
He did something really awesome. I'm gonna let you hear

(00:41):
what happened, what he did. He's catching some heat, Dion Sanders,
Coach Prime, y'all know him.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Done.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Yeah, But y'all, this this really broke my heart. And
even seeing this woman and her ability to be able
to speak about this broke my heart as well. Listen
to this.

Speaker 4 (00:59):
Hanger hit me in my right eye and knocked it.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Out of the socket. Now, this is the principle, the
assistant principle in Texas had to be flown to Dallas, Texas.
And she's talking about how there was a situation with
a child in one of the classrooms, and she had
to go in and help out.

Speaker 4 (01:20):
But listen to her, I grabbed my face while blood
was pouring out of my head and stumbled out of
the classroom doer. When paramedics arrived, they determined how what
need to be airlifted to Parkland Medical Center in Dallas.
I underwent surgery so as soon as possible. When doctors
were able to reinsert my eye, however, they determined I
had been blinded and currently believed that my damage is

(01:45):
permanent at me, but I couldn't.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
I mean, it's heartbreaking to hear her talk about this.
She explained that there was an urgent call from a
behavioral teacher asking for assistance. After arriving, the teacher and
the student were outside of the classroom, one student holding
his head after being assaulted by another student, causing the disturbance.

(02:07):
Now she entered that room where the irate student responsible
started to throw chairs at her, as well as another
assistant principal. She says that the student then threw a
wooden hangar at her, couldn't block it fast enough, hit
her in the eye. Now, a lot of folks are
talking about it. She's upset with the governor, the governor

(02:30):
of Texas over this whole voucher situation. We got that
situation happening around here. She's upset because she said that
money should be going into public schools so they can
have the people in those classrooms that they need, so
people like her would not be in harm's way. Yeah,

(02:52):
she's blaming the governor of Texas. And it pains me
to even see, you know what, know, you know how
she looks now. But I think it's brave that she
was able to share her story. M w D I

Speaker 2 (06:56):

Speaker 5 (07:36):
I get down my all in your cute tie, and
let me tell you that.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
City is that.

Speaker 10 (07:41):
I'm gonna let you go. I heard you yesterday. I
heard you yesterday. Told Golden Girl that Dad made made
maybe I made you my first day the fact, that's
what it is.

Speaker 5 (07:56):
I told I'll don't see it the same thing.

Speaker 10 (07:58):
About Golden Girls, because I made Golden Girl years ago
with Bible Day with living Yeah. Yeah, and we met
a bunch of she tied it right aside the gold deal.
You see the first lady too. I've been getting your
shout out for the last two three days since then,
since you said that if you make over the story,

coming for you. I didn't know you better. You can't
call the day because you're already call me, but you're

(08:44):
gonna have to call and make amends. You heard him, Okay, listen.
I got an email. Miss Morel emailed me and she said, Stormy,
if he gave them the money, that's not on him.
Mada is at fault. He did his job talking about
Steve Cohen. Then she said happy birthday to you, Thank
you girl. But did he give them Did they get

(09:05):
the money? That's what we want to know. Did they
get it? Miss King? Happy birthday girl, Happy birthday to
you and many more. Now I agree with trying to
mend a broken relationship with your parents or children, but
when the other party isn't putting in the necessary work.
H let's see where was I had to answer the phone?

(09:26):
Put them on hoole real quick. It's okay to pull
back for a while in order to protect your heart
until the other party is ready, and they may never
be ready. That's a good point. You don't have to
stop loving the person, but sometimes walking away from people
is vital. So true as it relates to children. Sometimes

(09:48):
these children have been terribly neglected or abused by a parent,
whether it's physically or emotionally, and sometimes they will choose
to just check out. It's unfortunate, but you don't have
to remain in a relationship that is destroying your heart.
Happy birthday again, love Ah, youre right about it, Miss

(10:12):

Speaker 5 (13:35):
I mean every month.

Speaker 14 (13:38):
These times don't take care of their kids. Now, that's
why they messed up. And as far as that principle,
it's dangerous in schools now, I mean very dangerous.

Speaker 2 (13:46):
Isn't that heartbreaking to hear? I mean yes, I mean.

Speaker 14 (13:49):
Her whole eye socket mm hmm.

go in there and attach it.

Speaker 14 (13:57):
Well I didn't see it, but I could just imagine.

Speaker 15 (14:00):
Yeah, And you know, the teachers are in a lot
of danger because of either viours or the teachers are
messed up for trying to sleep with the students. You know,
they got that one up there and coming to or whatever.

Speaker 5 (14:11):
She had twenty kids.

Speaker 14 (14:13):
She'll let when one she's thinking about my lord. Yeah,
and I just wanted to let little I mean daddy
know that I've just promoted myself to head security down

Speaker 2 (17:48):
You know, it's free.

Speaker 10 (17:49):
So you know a lot of people love free.

Speaker 7 (17:52):
And I was wondering, I heard.

Speaker 16 (17:53):
You talking about your dad, and your house was built
right next to the club, to the clubs, So why
to ask you a question personal of the person was, Now,
how old.

Speaker 5 (18:04):
Would you then when you first had the first drink?

Speaker 2 (18:07):
I was young. I was young, but you know what,
you know what I was. I was young. I was
a kid. But I'm gonna tell you I hated it. Yeah,
and I tried to I tried to drink a little
bit because it was it was around. Because you know,
my daddy was a bootlegger, My granddaddy was a bootlegger.
And I hated it. I hated the taste of it.
I just couldn't force myself to drink it. I just

(18:30):
I couldn't do it.

Speaker 11 (18:32):
Well, it sounds like the men you hate beer.

Speaker 2 (18:34):
There, right, because I don't. I don't like any alcohol,
none of none. You don't like none, you know.

Speaker 11 (18:41):
Well, you know I was listening to you talk my family,
you know, and I love my family so much, you know,
but family, you know, everybody's family. My family, my family.
Everyone's family is not close. I used to have the
closest family in the.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
World, you know.

Speaker 11 (18:54):
And I said, now, you know, when you start losing
loved one, you know, it look like you know, when
my brother died, my old brother, it's like my family
just went down. But I still have a big family,
and it bothers me sometime when we fall out, and I,
like you said, sometimes you have to love him from
this and you know you get it. Tell you like, well,
when my sister Sarah, you know, all Sarah around, she
know she's listening every but I know somebody here we talking.

(19:16):
You tell us super Sarah. You know, we used to
talk on the pH all night long, five o'clock in
the morning every day.

Speaker 2 (19:22):
We talked so much on the farm. My old man,
my children' dad man, he.

Speaker 7 (19:26):
Reacted, he used to get autter me.

Speaker 11 (19:27):
He saw he moved out the room and moved in
another room cause we say them all Now, I know
when you got family like that, they was getting all
close by me, all of my sisters. And but we
still talk sometime on the phone every day every other day,
you know. And it's good to know, you know. But
but Cheersren nowadays they speaking of Cheldren.

Speaker 8 (19:42):
You know you talking, you're.

Speaker 2 (19:43):
Talking about school. See that.

Speaker 11 (19:44):
My heart just went out when I heard you say that.
I mean, it's hard out here being and then I
was thinking about our supertender. You know, you got a
hard job when you're dealing with children, period.

Speaker 2 (19:53):
Nowadays anyway, because these.

Speaker 9 (19:54):
Children are talking wrong.

Speaker 11 (19:55):
I don't know if there's something in the candy they
eat now, or there's something in the marijuana.

Speaker 7 (19:59):
Because I know this is because they don't even smell
right anymore.

Speaker 11 (20:02):
It's nothing that's doing the same, doesn't I heard you
talking about cast or all this stuff.

Speaker 8 (20:07):
This stuff don't even.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
Taste right anymore.

Speaker 11 (20:08):
Nothing tastes the same anymore, because they're.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
Not making it.

Speaker 14 (20:11):
Like they was doing it back in the days.

Speaker 11 (20:13):
You know, you saying, well, we're gonna get some cast Well,
maybe we'll get these lemoned you want.

Speaker 2 (20:16):
But I heard Steve, what's up, Steve Anderson?

Speaker 8 (20:18):
I heard see you.

Speaker 11 (20:19):
Say, get some get some crowns, this something and mix
it up up. It doesn't matter. I don't care how
you mix it up. Because of stuff that they're making out.

Speaker 7 (20:27):
It's not right. It's not done the same.

Speaker 11 (20:29):
It doesn't taste the same, like nothing taste doesn't smell right,
like marijuana doesn't smell right anymore, Beer doesn't smell It
doesn't taste the same, wine doesn't taste there's nothing.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
Everything's different now.

Speaker 11 (20:39):
You know, just like this whole world were in and
the whole world, you know, where people just so destructing. Now,
they they minds are so non they just feeling like,
you know, we want to hurt.

Speaker 7 (20:48):
They want to hurt everybody, you know. And they's saying,
you got so many.

Speaker 11 (20:51):
You got so many angry people, so much going on.

Speaker 7 (20:57):

praying for these teachers and all of them. After the
principal man lost her her eye. I mean she's blind
in one eye after being hit by a student. Student
hit her with a hangar. But she's blaming Governor Abbott
in Texas. She said, if he wasn't trying to put
all that money on vouchers, puts that put that money
back in public schools, if they wouldn't have them problems,

(22:46):
she said. And Dion Sanders big shout out to him.
He's being criticized because people want to interview him, and
Dion's like, I ain't got time. So Matt Barnes came
to Dion's defense because fine Bromson, Paul find Brohm. Rather,

(23:07):

about what Dionnie is doing? He said, hate. I had
to say all of that, He said, I've you know,
I've been out in Colorado. I've seen with my own
eyes the tremendous ecosystem he's built for these young men

(23:28):
to succeed in life. Forget sports. He said, he wants
to shout out his brother, Dion Sanders for being a
true leader, because Dion did something for those kids.
