technically single myself. I've got girlfriends that are single, but
I got friends that are married too, so I get

the people that own grocery stores got a little upset
with her because she said that the people at own
these grocery stores are pigs.

Yeah, they kind of came at her and all that,
but she's just saying, hey, it's rough out there. I
understand what everybody is going through. Now. She may be
making more than most of us because she's I think
she makes like five to six million dollars a Yeah,

what her network is. But she was talking about her
kids and talking about you know, hey, she got people
in her family that's you know, trying to get by
two And everybody's got somebody in there. You know what
I'm saying. We all we all trying to just make
it day by day, trying to get where we got
to go in this life. So anyway, I don't know

if we'pi can understand what we all are going through.
I don't know if y'all think she can. I don't,
you know, you let me know what you think about it.
But I'm sure she can. I'm sure she can. And
maybe she's making money now, but maybe there was a
point in her period in her life when she wasn't
making as much as she's making now. I'm gonna tell you,
we've all had tough days, and that's why they say

you be careful about because y'all know today is World
Kindness Day. But they always say be careful about how
you treat people when you going up, because those are
the same people that you meet when you coming back down,
or you know, made meet if you coming back down.
You got to be careful, how you say. I think

sometimes it's how we treat the least of these, especially,
you know, the people that clean up after us. And
I've as a young woman, I didn't always take that
to heart, but the older I've gotten, I you know,
I take it to heart. I'm better about it when
I go to restaurants, you know, because I don't. I

guys this before. I was talking to my god daughter
who's a waiter, a waitress or was. I don't know
if she is doing it now or not, but she
was a waitress, and I'm gonna tell you. She said,
the worst thing that people in restaurants or you know,
like to see coming is a group of black women.
She said it. I didn't. She said it, and I

was like, why do you say that? She said, because
y'all always complaining about stuff. Y'all always trying to send
stuff back and all that kind of stuff. And I've
been told, do you ever be careful what you send
back to them kitchens? I don't know, but you still,

for you guys today that this is interesting. So this
guy in Oregon, he's out riding his bicycle and uh,
he's going pretty slow riding his bicycle and he gets hit. Okay,

So the guy that hits him, you know, stops check
on him and all that, and then took him to
the hospital. Okay, this guy takes him to the hospital,
so you know later on he you know, is recovering

and all of that, pedaling through downtown of Rainier near
Columbia River. This is back in October twenty twenty two. Too,
big red vehicle just hit him, you know, guy right
driving the big red vehicle took him to the hospital.

So you know he's home, you know, at recovering. At home,
he gets a bill in the mail. The bill is
two thousand dollars. But here's the kicker, because he's filed
a lawsuit. The guy in the big red vehicle that
hit him was an ambulance driver. So the ambulance driver

takes him to the hospital and then bills him even
though he hit him. So, y'all tell me what you
think about that. Who's wrong? Well, surely in my opinion,
the ambulance driver is. But if you gonna hit the guy,
in my opinion, I mean, I don't know, maybe I'm wrong,

Maybe somebody that works for an ambulance can tell me better.
But if you hit the guy, how you gonna charge him?
And you the onet have fault. You charge him two
thousand dollars. This is the real story. Okay, this was
filed in Columbia County and this is in Like I said, yeah,
he's now suing the ambulance company, arguing that it's outrageous

to be billed for a service after being injured by
the very vehicle providing it. My lord, but I heard
that story, I was like, you got to be kidding me.

Lucille emailed me a couple days ago and I heard

she sent me the Action News five story and when
she sent it out, this is the story I was
gonna mention yesterday. But when she sent it, I couldn't
find it in my email as I get so many
emails that he just emails just pile on top of emails,

me to find it. Anyway. It was talking about downtown Malco. Uh,
well this was this that's another story because that's a

There's a lot of stuff going on around here, y'all,
a whole lot. But let's see. Under the flashing lights
of Bill Street and the sounds of music, two men
were caught on camera boldly spray painting the historic the
historic building, Daisy, the historic Daisy. Lucille k Tron, the

owner of the building, said this happened early Saturday morning,
right in the middle of busy Bill Street. She says
she got a chance to see the culprits that were
involved that actually did the damage to her property. Bright
green spray paint is now displayed on the building that
was built and nearly in the early nineteen hundreds. Caitron

says she paid five thousand dollars last year to get
the building repainted. That's not an amount she can afford
right now. She said. The vandalism is not only impacting
her financially, but the culture of Bill Street. Again, it
is a cost that I cannot afford. Bill Street is
home to Memphians and its value by millions around the world.

was knocked out. I was knocked out. I was like,
I woke up and everybody in the world was around me.

The ambulance picked me up. Do you know they charged
me eighteen hundred dollars just to take me to Baptist.
And it wasn't even it was a block up the road.

them up and let them know the man that you're

the ambulance company. But the I'm sure he got a
build from the hospital too. That's what happened to me
in my situation. I got a bill from both of them,
and my bill from the ambulance was eighteen hundred. It
was almost what he got. You know what he got charged.

So he's sewing the right somebody and so on and
cost the guys just worked for them. And you know,
I don't think he was trying to hit him. And
somebody hit me with the car. I would want them
what y'all wanted to do leaving there? It's not a

I don't know if y'all heard about it. Malco Downtown, Uh,
nice movie there at the Powerhouse Downtown. I've been there,

put up They want to put a fence up around
the theater to make it safer for people that are

gonna come down there. They said they're doing it because
of the increased crime. But some of the residents downtown
they worry about, you know, changing the look in the
field of the neighborhood. So Malcol's, you know, they say
they've been there, what one hundred years, and that spot
is about a ten million dollar investment, and maybe they
it looks like they' getting a little pushback for putting

up a fence. But if you were going down to
Malco downtown, would you want, you know, to be safer
and have a fence up. And if you put one up,
is it gonna make you safer? I don't know, but
that's one of those things that's happening in the city.
And I saw something that just kind of broke my heart.
And I don't know if y'all saw this story, but

twenty four covered the story about the man that pleaded
guilty for accidentally shooting his three year old child or
not maybe not his child, but that shooting happened at
Castellia Heights, and I think the story today it was updated.
It happened in April of this year, and child is

no longer with us, but he's not gonna serve any times.
He got probation, that you know. So I'm sure that
some people are kind of questioning about that. You know
about that too. And I'm with mister Robb because he
called me a couple days ago and he said he
asks about crime, and I heard him talking Stan this morning.
I I don't know, Jackson. I don't think crime going down.
