Speaker 1 (00:00):
We can kind of see the weekend, and I hope
that you are good. Stormy conversations. It is April the ninth,
what are we like, two weeks away from Easter? And
I'm curious, Hey, do you remember your Easter speech? Any
one of them? I can't remember mine. I think maybe

(00:22):
when I was smaller, I may have said because my
mom made us all get up there, we all got
up there for them Easter speech. It's okay. I might
have said something like I just came to say happy
East of Day. It's gonna be a lot of that
on Easter. I don't know what it is about Easter

(00:45):
and the churches that do the Easter speeches with the kids.
I think it's so cute. I really do. I think
that not only is the cute, but it also gives
the kids the opportunity to learn something instead of yeah glow,
mm mm hmm. Okay, I'm sorry, but you know these

(01:06):
kids learn them rap songs. You know, they know them rap.
Some of them know them rap songs better than they
know they ABC's one, two threes. They do. They do
this young generation. They're different. We might as well just
face it. Those of us that are Generation X baby boomers,

(01:27):
they might as well face it. They're different. They're real different.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
You know.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
They do things that they see on social media. See,
we don't do that. We don't do that because our
parents taught us better. They were like, no, you don't
do it. You don't even our parents back in the day,
our parents would say do as I say, not as
I do. So you didn't do it, you know what
I'm saying. But these kids, maybe enough, parents aren't saying

(01:57):
that nowadays. Because when I saw this store, and it's
probably a familiar story to some of you, maybe you've
seen it before, but a hairstylelist, you know, she put
her client on blast for disputing a charge and claiming
she didn't receive a service. Though she's on camera, she

(02:22):
shore that girl say you're going to jail, she says.
Imagine coming in for a service and telling your bank
you never got your service done, like I didn't take
pictures of you. You going to jail. That's what she
said that se see, Now, that's what I told y'all.
That's what they said. Something new. These young folks doing
in that, they better stop because they yes, that's what's
gonna happen. You got to teach them. Teachable moment for

(02:45):
the young people that might be listening. Some of y'all
probably listening accidentally, but it's a teachable moment for you.
Don't do that, m M. Don't go these folks good
store and eat all that stuff and then go home
and dispute the charges. Don't do that. And see, you
don't dispute charges unless it's something that came through your

(03:08):
account and you actually did not pay for it. That's
when you disputed. You don't dispute the charge that you
you you got the service. And this girl's hair is
laid you hear me? So yeah, the hairdresser she put
her on blasts put on social media, told the world,
look at this, look at this. See she says she

(03:28):
didn't get this service, but she did. Yeah yeah, and
so she reported her. And I'm just like, okay, So
the young girl that did this, who's wrong? Because clearly
she got her hair hair dumbe, she looks amazing, her
hair looks amazing. Clearly she got Who is wrong?

Speaker 3 (03:47):
It is?

Speaker 1 (03:47):
It? Is it parents dropping the ball? Is it TikTok?
Because TikTok is teaching our kids a bot? So is
it is it child? Cause you know, TikTok. That's that's
who owns it. And word is they give their people.
You know, their people can't see half the stuff we see.

(04:08):
So these kids, oh my mmmmm, I tell my mm mm.
I was so happy the other day my grandsister said, Granty,
I am not on any of the any social media
right now. I was like, oh, thank you, thank you.
Prayer answered how social media will mess you up. And
even if you're a grown person, you know, spending a

(04:29):
lot of time on social media will mess you up.
They've done studies. It's true. They know, they know why
are you scrolling? You getting hooked? That algorithm is feeding
you stuff it knows you like, and you just sitting there.
Before you know it, you'll be on social media for
two hours and you're like, oh my goodness, where's the

(04:51):
time gone? You was on social media? Put them phones
down and put them down from down. It's better for
your mental health if you put that phone down trying
to tell you why can't we get back to what's something?

Speaker 4 (05:12):
You know?

Speaker 5 (05:12):
What?

Speaker 6 (05:13):
See?

Speaker 1 (05:13):
This is what I love about my son and his
wife them. Tell you what they do. They have dinner
together as a family, they have lunch together, as a family.
They do breakfast together, they do dinner together. When they're
on road trips. They don't do dinner in the car.

(05:35):
They get out, they go into the restaurant and they
sit at the table. I'm like, I don't wanna say, man,
this is an old young man, but I love it
because it teaches you something. When you sit there together
with your family and you talk about you know, it
brings you together as a family. There's something real good

(05:56):
and real wholesome about it. You know what I'm saying,
Some real good, real host I'm trying to tell you.
And speaking of China, President Trump says he's gonna pause
the new tariffs for ninety days, except for the one's
on China, which are being raised to one five percent. Yikes,

(06:17):
And what is it? Everybody, y'all get a break all
over the other world except for you, chinnel mm hmm.
You ain't giving him no break? He said, Nope, not y'all.
What he said, Oh that's what he said. Did y'all
see the story too about Elon Musk. Yeah, uh, I

(06:37):
saw this one on Action News five. Elon Musk new
Memphis XAI data center has nearly doubled the number of
gas turbines. Why?

Speaker 6 (06:54):
And this is.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
According to new images that have been released to you guys.
According to the Southern Environmental Law Center, a coalition of
conservative and community organizations shared new information with the Shelby
County Health Department. The information includes aerial images of the
center that revealed thirty five methane gas turbines. What you
need thirty five for them? And what do you need

(07:15):
them for?

Speaker 2 (07:18):
Now?

Speaker 1 (07:18):
That's far more than XAI submitted permit applications, FAUL. Things
that make you go hmmm. XAI began operating that data
center June of twenty twenty four. Mmmm. Anything new been
happening around here since then? Anything? Y'all? Notice everybody? All right,

(07:41):
check on yourself. Yeah, I've been twitching it. It started
last year in June twenty twenty four. I'm not I'm laughing,
but I'm serious. I'm serious. And then I saw the
story last night that many of you saw, and it's
all over social media, and it was on TV and
it's oh, they're talking, talking, talking, talking talk getting baby

(08:03):
Memphis Shelby County School Board member Tijuana Murphy. She says
she isn't sorry that she threatened to deport a Hispanic
woman who criticized her work on the school board and
called her names. Yeah, you know, I I try to

(08:26):
stay away from stories like this one, but this one
said she came to my doe. It came to me,
came to made it said here girl. Yeah. Now, this
happened during a private exchange on Facebook. Now by now
everybody's seen it. Everybody saw the private exchange. It's a
public exchange. Now, young girl goes into Tawana Murphy's box

(08:48):
and and and and starts to have a conversation with her.
Uh and uh, I see Tauana hast posted the young
the girls you know who she is and all of that.
And basically she said, this is the beginning of the conversation.
I'm unfamiliar with her. As she initiated contact through my inbox,

(09:09):
the girl eventually called her the B word and well.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
Shot down.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
She called on one back, uh so yeah, will Well
And then she did post this yesterday on social media.
This is a little bit of what she said. Get
this out the way real quick. Maybe I've been getting
a lot of threats in my inbox. In fact, I've
been getting a lot of threats for the last three months.

(09:41):
Most of the time I just block it and keep going.
But recently I've clapped back at a few people when
you have come in my inbox, my personal inbox, calling
me out my name, threatening my family. That's unacceptable. It's
okay to have a disagreement. If you disagree with me, fine,
just tell me what you disagree me about. I won't
say anything. I'll say, okay, you have your opinion. But
when you come in my inbox disrespecting me and then

(10:04):
I clapped back at you, then you want to screenshot
it and send it to the news about what I
said to you, not what you said to me or
what you did to me. So that's what tu Wanta
said to Wanta said, I clapped back because she came
at me first, basically is what she said. But I
so at least to a lot of questions because now

(10:27):
everybody on social media is talking a lot of people
are talking about it. So a lot of people are saying,
as an elected official, do you have the right, first off,
to block people? And I'm hearing you're not supposed to
block people on social media if you're an elected official.
Now y'all correct me if I'm wrong. I and I
hear that's something that she's done, and I think she

(10:48):
just mentioned that in that Yeah, but maybe not. Maybe
she didn't mention it just then. But all right, is
the saying if you can't take the heat, get out
of the kitchen appropriate in this situation? Or should we

(11:09):
just let people be? You know what I'm saying. I
understand people getting angry and and a lot. And then
on the other side, I understand when you'll take a position,
a public position like that as an elective official. You
you they coming, They're coming, They're coming. I told y'all

(11:32):
when I, you know, thought about it for a quick,
quick got second when that person you know brought it
up to me about running for office, I thought about
for a quick got second. Uh you know, I thought,
am I would I be able to would I be
able to take it? Or would I be for lack
of a better word, And I'm not saying this is
what Tawana did. Would I be able to take it?

(11:53):
Or would I get ghettld with y'all when y'all get
gettled with me? And is it the right thing to do?
But she's she's she's trying to explain herself and she
explained herself. You know, because what happened was she g
y'all heard me, she threatened to deport that woman. And

(12:15):
now does she have the power to do something like that?
I don't think so. But she said I was upset
that she disrespected me. Was it right? Was it the
right thing to do?

Speaker 3 (12:25):
No?

Speaker 1 (12:25):
But it was wrong on her behalf. And I want
an apology from her. We y'all think should should want
to get an apology? Should the girl apologize? And who
should be apologized? If anybody? What do y'all think about that?
All right, let's go to these phones nine O one

(12:46):
five three five, nine three four two eight hundred and
five zero three nine three four two eight three three
five three five nine three four two. Let's talk about it.
W D I A hello.

Speaker 5 (12:57):
Number one though, number one, so come out here. Number
one's let the part started, hart started right, ye show,
we got out to use your calling and listen, hey
saw me. Two things I want to say real quick.
First of all, thank for yesterday for allowed me, which

(13:17):
is a real dear friend of mine, Sharon, happy birthday
on the birthday yesterday, Thank you very much. Let me
say that doing a politician, if you think.

Speaker 4 (13:31):
That miss Murphy, that's her last thing.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
Mmm.

Speaker 2 (13:37):
If she deserves an.

Speaker 5 (13:40):
Apology, well you think you're Donald Trump deserves an apology too.

Speaker 1 (13:45):
Wow, you took it there.

Speaker 7 (13:50):
We have to look at the.

Speaker 8 (13:50):
Broader picture, and I always try to.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
Look at the big picture.

Speaker 4 (13:53):
He's a politicians.

Speaker 9 (13:54):
They're not going to always get it right. She's at
what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (13:57):
I don't agree with it, but I look at.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
It this week.

Speaker 8 (14:00):
She's human.

Speaker 5 (14:01):
First to pushing was a politician. And everybody got a
button to push if you know how to push their bunny,
even Murphy, You and me and our button get pushed
the wrong way, we're going to show up and we're
gonna show out. I disagree with she said she's going
to deport her because we got enough of that of
many of them, and I got several friends for here illegally,

(14:22):
and they are prayed to come out or be seen
out because they think that Heights is going to come
and get them.

Speaker 4 (14:28):
That times.

Speaker 5 (14:28):
We don't worry about it too.

Speaker 10 (14:29):
Minions.

Speaker 5 (14:30):
It's like fifteen minutes, millions of you, you ain't got
nothing to worry about.

Speaker 10 (14:34):
Trust me.

Speaker 5 (14:34):
Let's keep your nose clean and keep down and keep
keep the nose down, geting wrong, you'll be okay. So
I'm not worried about that. But she is a human
to puss politicians. So since she had said that, I
don't think. I think when you're a politician, are in
the out of the public, you got to be the
struggle strong on one out of the bunch. Because people
don't say derogatory things, negative thing, whether they're true or not.

(14:58):
I should know.

Speaker 7 (14:59):
I hear it all the time.

Speaker 5 (15:01):
You have heard many things that wasn't true about doing
you just took the pill and swallowing it.

Speaker 7 (15:06):
They kept doing.

Speaker 5 (15:07):
Yeah, because that's what people do. You got to said that.

Speaker 11 (15:10):
Now.

Speaker 5 (15:11):
The second thing I want to say real quick for me,
I was listening to the music when you came on
the air and you played a song by I Agree
and put it on paper, and you know, my little
t brain started.

Speaker 1 (15:22):
Thinking, wait, wait, wait, wait you you wait, you wait
a minute. You about to get married. You're gonna put
it on pape?

Speaker 4 (15:28):
No, no, no no.

Speaker 5 (15:30):
I was thinking, it's not crucial, but if it happens,
I'm not I'm not I'm not boring. I'm not against it. Okay,
So that's that's my take. But I'm asking the question
between you and I can think about it listening to
the house come answer, but it's it's really that crucial
to have it on paper that you are a couple.

Speaker 7 (15:51):
It's a what if.

Speaker 5 (15:53):
Listen, if I lost my house, I can leave it,
find another house. I lost my car to go buy
another car. But if you get married, you got to
separate all those things that you're accumulated. And many times
you could always.

Speaker 1 (16:05):
Do a prenup. You could always do a prenup. Prince Charles,
you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (16:11):
You're absolutely true. I have no problem with that.

Speaker 12 (16:14):
But it's just so much to go into a relationship,
especially marriage, knowing that. And I'm not saying that I'm
going into a marriage and looking at her the divorce,
but I'm looking at all Ian when I'm in that marriage. Now,
I got all of it, to all the she got
little to nothing. And I'm just speculating here, but now

(16:36):
if we go through a divorce, she didn't have fought
more of the thing if you got a prenup, not
if you got a pre nup, But if you don't
have a pre nup, you're separate between a walk or
rock and a harcan.

Speaker 1 (16:50):
Well, it depends, It depends, It depends. See, because if
you know, you know a Prince Charles, I think if
you go into a situation with a with a with
a thought like that, it might happen to you. You
know what I'm saying. So you're when you go into it,
you ain't. Don't go into it expecting it to end

(17:11):
or expecting somebody to want to get something from you
out of you know what I'm saying, when you separation.

Speaker 5 (17:17):
Or not, because I'm looking at all realm of anything
and all.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
Useless no, no, no suspicions of people.

Speaker 5 (17:30):
Yeah, well you know going down that road and been
down that road before, and it is not it's not feasible.

Speaker 1 (17:38):
I got you, I got you, I got you.

Speaker 10 (17:40):
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 12 (17:42):
People call it and you know I'm gonna take the
hit today. I have no problem with it, but I'm
just acting. You do you really have to put it
on paper? I mean, if you really love you, well, if.

Speaker 1 (17:52):
You're asking me, thank you, Prince Charles, appreciate you calling in.
If you asking me, yes, I put it on pay book.
You want her, you want to be with her, I
want to shock with her. Put it on paper. If
you like her that much, put that thing on payper

(18:15):
and what I say and they get if you get
a prenup. If you don't like it like that, you
know what I'm saying, get if you that's that's why
people do prenups. And you don't have to be wealthy
to have a prenup.

Speaker 7 (18:28):
W D I A hello, watch your fault.

Speaker 9 (18:32):
They become your word. Mm, they become your action.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
My god, watch the question.

Speaker 9 (18:41):
They become habit. Watch the habit. It becomes your character,
your character, it becomes your destiny.

Speaker 1 (18:53):
Wow. Man, if I had a unforgettabook, I'm saying I'm forgetful,
drop some drive something.

Speaker 9 (19:07):
I haven't forgotten and I read I apologize the second
time to you and your husband, your family and everybody.

Speaker 1 (19:15):
Hmm.

Speaker 9 (19:15):
I'm telling you true.

Speaker 4 (19:19):
God is my name.

Speaker 9 (19:21):
I'm telling you I've witness and everything I've really see.
A sorry what I did, it's not a good thing.
So yeah, yeah, thinking your politicians, you can't do that.
But Donald Trump's doing all the time. You know, but
you know your character from to me, I mean living in.

Speaker 1 (19:41):
An era though, where politicians feel like now because of him,
that they can do and say whatever they want to
as well. You think we're in that era. I don't
think so.

Speaker 9 (19:51):
I don't think you do now because a lot of people,
you know, believe in a politician, you know, judge and
things like that, and when they do something that's negative,
I can't understand, you know, but it shouldn't be done.

Speaker 5 (20:07):
But you know, don't I.

Speaker 9 (20:09):
Will raise in an error a red fox, you know.
I listen to how was then? Yeah, iven listen to
my brother back in the path, that is Matthew, you know.
But them things don't bother me. But to other people,
you know, it's disrespectful. They can't deal with it. But

(20:32):
like you say, it become your destiny, your characters. When
you say things like that, they come out of your mind,
your thoughts.

Speaker 11 (20:40):
I mean, you know the.

Speaker 9 (20:41):
Words, because anybody got them back there. They some people
can control them, and I'll not say it, but a
lot of people can't control them, or.

Speaker 1 (20:51):
Do they want. They can, but they don't want to.

Speaker 7 (20:55):
Well because just because you.

Speaker 9 (20:58):
You should it sniffed Doorman.

Speaker 5 (21:02):
It happened to me, you know, But I'm really sorry.

Speaker 8 (21:07):
Bro, what I've done.

Speaker 1 (21:09):
You know, well, you know what to be honest, we've
all had a moment.

Speaker 4 (21:14):
You know what I'm saying, Right, like Prince Yall said, but.

Speaker 1 (21:18):
We're not all in the public, we're not all politicians.

Speaker 5 (21:23):
Well, sometimes you forget me.

Speaker 9 (21:25):
You think no people can push your button and you
don't be thinking.

Speaker 8 (21:31):
Okay, but soon I would listen to the topic that
you were talking about the last of times that the
dude in textas and I would actually what was he running?

Speaker 1 (21:43):
Oh my god?

Speaker 9 (21:43):
And they said the resource off to track him down.

Speaker 5 (21:45):
They went to the same.

Speaker 1 (21:46):
School, Yeah, they did, they did. And I saw the pictures.
I saw pictures of them hanging out together. There are
pictures of the of the boys, the twins with big
old guns.

Speaker 5 (21:59):
But there was a situation he was in wrong.

Speaker 1 (22:05):
I'm not saying he was in the right. I'm not
saying young Carrello Anthony was right.

Speaker 9 (22:10):
He was wrong when all his money, when all his
money come down and everything. You know, you were talking
about this other dude one name or that, uh, the baby,
the family or something, and yeah, uh some kind of
email phone or something.

Speaker 2 (22:26):
You were talking about.

Speaker 1 (22:27):
Yeah, family, Yeah, his family they raised two hundred thousand.

Speaker 10 (22:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (22:33):
So you know, you just can't go along with what
people say. You got to investigate what I've been what
I've been seeing is not good.

Speaker 4 (22:43):
For him, Stormy, He's not good at all.

Speaker 9 (22:46):
And y'alls getting all this noise started and everything.

Speaker 4 (22:51):
You know, Just be right, man, come on now, just
be right.

Speaker 1 (22:56):
I got you, I forget We thank you so much
for all right, all right, all right you too, Thank
you so much for calling in. All right, y'all, listen,
we're gonna take a break and we're gonna come back.
Lady d miss Queen, and all your emails that got
you on the way not on one five three five,
nine three four two eight hundred five zero three nine
three four two eight three three five three five nine

(23:17):
three four two. You can also tap that iHeartRadio app
or email me Stormy t at my dou w U
d I eight and I'm i'm I'm, I'm. I don't
know about all them extra gas turbines that uh x
AI do unsnuck up in here on us? Did they
sneak them in or did or did we just somebody

(23:40):
miss a memo? Because I'm reading what Action News five
said about the Elon Musk and those new Memphis x
AI data center. They've doubled the number of gas turbines.
According to images that have been released, M really going on. Yeah,

(24:04):
I think it's yeah, it's somebody needs to talk to us.
And I appreciate Bobby White coming in and talking to
me because I feel like I had a really good
conversation with him. And the podcast is up at my
Double Well it's yeah, my Double Di I a dot
com The Pulse. You can go listen to the podcast.
I'm telling you, I got I got more questions, and

(24:25):
especially with do we did he need more gas turbines
or and.

Speaker 5 (24:30):
What are they for?

Speaker 1 (24:34):
You know what I'm saying, what are they for? What
we're doing, what we got going on? And any rate
we'll hear more about that for sure. And you know what,
so many people sent me emails about this situation, that
that story about Tajuanna Murphy, And I'm gonna tell you something.
I think that anybody that has a position like that

(24:55):
number one, it's it's gonna be tough. And Tiuana might
have been at that point where she fed up because
y'all the stuff they have been saying about her and
other you know, those other board members for them off

(25:18):
Sheelle County School. That stuff that's tough. And I know
a lot of people don't agree with what they did,
but is it ever gonna stop? And that might be
what she's saying. I don't know, and I'm not saying
she was right for doing what she did. But don't forgetfu.

(25:39):
It might be right. You get to a breaking point.
Maybe she's at a breaking point.

Speaker 5 (25:45):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (25:46):
Let me read your emails here. African consultant says, clap
back to wanna clap back, and he says when they
go low, I go low. Clyde says, to want to
condition it out, but she can't take it. No, she
should not apologize to Tuana. Tijuana is messy and she

(26:08):
gets everything she deserves when people talk about her. Let's
see miss Rambert says, clapping back as I have been saying.
This is further reason why Tijuana's character isn't school board ready.
It is a thing called self control. Just because someone
claps at you or or back at you, doesn't mean

(26:29):
you have to get on that person's level. However, if
you were being threatened, it would have been wise to
contact the police and file a police report, not be
vindictive and doing something out of spite to hurt that person.
Somebody tell me when do we vote again for this

(26:52):
board in Memphis, Tennessee. Well, Miss Rambert, I think you
got three and a half more years. Just why I
body else said so? Is Prince Charles harboring illegals? I'm
gonna tell Donald you do that? Man ain't just stop it.
Let's see, miss coach, she says, Hey, Miss coaches, She says, Hey, Stormy,

(27:13):
that's the very reason I suggested that you not run
for any office. You have to have thick skin, and
I know you do. But people will make you pop
off just to make you get out of character. Trust me,
all of us can be pushed to our limit. Your
superintendent is an example. Lol.

Speaker 9 (27:38):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (27:38):
Let's see. Miss Tracy says. The country is just rude
political behavior. The country is just rude. It has become
more rude since Trump came on the scene in politics. Now,
you're right about that. He has given rise to the
worst of us expressing their hateful feelings. Politicians used to
be considered upstanding individuals, but not anymore. Juanna Murphy is

(28:02):
a disgusting individual and should not be elected to any office,
let alone the school board. She is not a positive
individual for our youth. We have enough negative models for
them to see she isn't helping anything in an already
damaged city. She doesn't demeanor, doesn't deserve I guess that's

(28:23):
what you're trying to say, an apology after the way
she responded at this point, Let's see here. Can somebody
tell me where are they putting the turbines? Where do
we have room in Memphis to put those? Well? I
think those turbines are in that what is it, three

(28:43):
eight one nine area? In that area? Yeah, that land
that he bought. I think that's where they are. All right,
let me go back to the phone line. See what
y'all talking about? WDA Hello, A late d.

Speaker 11 (29:00):
To go in a story team and and the words
of the bell ringer and the words of bell Ringer.

Speaker 9 (29:09):
It's nice to be important.

Speaker 1 (29:12):
But it's more important to be nice people before.

Speaker 11 (29:19):
I don't care what your title. You can be a doctor, lawyer,
or you could be just the average person. People must
understand what's in.

Speaker 5 (29:30):
You is coming out.

Speaker 13 (29:33):
It's coming out, so people.

Speaker 11 (29:36):
Are gonna be who they are, and we everybody already know.
It's it goes like this. Here go to the poll,
because what you see and what you hear.

Speaker 7 (29:49):
It's what you're gonna get.

Speaker 5 (29:51):
Everybody knows that, most people know her, most people know it.

Speaker 3 (29:56):
Not to make excuse for but it like this here,
what did she tell doctor Sagan? You know everybody call
theyself sending doctor Sagan a missage. But she said, you
work for us, you don't do what I said, do
ef I'm gonna get two or three people.

Speaker 9 (30:18):
And you going out the door.

Speaker 1 (30:21):
This, this, this, she said, this wasn't the matter.

Speaker 11 (30:27):
So at the end of the day, people need to
stop saying, oh, that's.

Speaker 8 (30:32):
A preacher, Hold that's a politician.

Speaker 5 (30:36):
Oh they ought to be shamed.

Speaker 4 (30:40):
They people.

Speaker 11 (30:41):
At the end of the day, human things.

Speaker 3 (30:44):
You got parm they gonna be nice and you get
some then hey, if you come from me, and that's
what I tell you, Soorman, do not what's up captain?

Speaker 11 (30:58):
Now, if he'd have been saying yesterday.

Speaker 3 (31:01):
Don't go for people on Facebook, don't go for people
on social media because they got godhood. They'll come to
your house, they'll shoot.

Speaker 9 (31:09):
You off the highways.

Speaker 1 (31:11):
You're talking about when Captain called in and was talking
to me on yesterday that you have to be careful.

Speaker 3 (31:17):
Years you know he was talking about it, called hisself
talking to Jackson, but they.

Speaker 9 (31:22):
Was you don't kind of joker. But what you see
on Facebook, it's real.

Speaker 11 (31:28):
You will get into it with somebody that you.

Speaker 3 (31:30):
Don't even know, and next time you know, you come up, dad,
it's happening.

Speaker 11 (31:38):
It doesn't happen in this city.

Speaker 3 (31:40):
I'm not gonna just say that it just happened over Facebook.

Speaker 11 (31:45):
Or over an argument.

Speaker 1 (31:47):
It's happened before.

Speaker 11 (31:49):
What you do is you don't honor with people periods.

Speaker 7 (31:53):
You let them know.

Speaker 3 (31:55):
Now if you come from me, I got some men
and where men that'll serve you.

Speaker 7 (32:02):
See they say them to serve you. They got your back.

Speaker 3 (32:05):
They put their uniform on and take a chance every
day for me, storming for you in my city they
called Memphis sinist.

Speaker 11 (32:16):
And Chevin counter of this then cost.

Speaker 1 (32:20):
It's angry And I.

Speaker 5 (32:22):
Used to be in that number.

Speaker 3 (32:23):
I used to think like this here, okay, you come
from me.

Speaker 7 (32:27):
But was it worth it? And what did I tell you?

Speaker 11 (32:30):
Storm it?

Speaker 3 (32:31):
My mother put the driving bus behind it.

Speaker 1 (32:34):
She tells, somebody do this, you do that.

Speaker 3 (32:38):
It was the other way around with me.

Speaker 10 (32:40):
You put your.

Speaker 3 (32:41):
Hand on somebody, child, I'm gonna deal with you. Ef
somebody child to stay hand on you we going the
court and I'm want I want.

Speaker 11 (32:50):
To know why that they can't teach they children.

Speaker 7 (32:54):
The sign thing I'm teaching you.

Speaker 5 (32:56):
I didn't play that storman Now have a good.

Speaker 1 (33:00):
Lady, d Thank you so much for calling in. You know,
I can't imagine. And you know I'm in the public, GUYE,
And I know people say things about me on social
media and probably have said some terrible things, and you know,
I try my best not to pay attention to that

(33:20):
kind of stuff. And you got a lot of celebrities
nowadays who don't pay attention to that kind of stuff.
You know why, because they got they're human, So a
lot of times they'll either come off social media for
a while, or they won't read the comments, or they
will turn the comments off so that people can go
and bash them elsewhere. You know what I'm saying. But

(33:44):
can you imagine, just think? Can you imagine having a
position and somebody saying, you know that you're disgusting or
calling you a B word? Can you imagine how those
kind of things will make you feel? And why is

(34:05):
it that we can't communicate better than that? Why is
it that when we got a problem with somebody, we
gotta go at their throats. We are come for their throat.

Speaker 5 (34:17):
We're not.

Speaker 1 (34:18):
We come for everything they love just because we got
a problem with them. Why is that? Am I the
only one question in that? It's just me? Wd I
a hello.

Speaker 5 (34:33):
Stor me, it's not just you.

Speaker 4 (34:35):
So let me say this. Okay, this is gonna shock
the crap our child.

Speaker 14 (34:39):
But you know what, Prince Chaws, I don't know where
you was when you take your break from radio for
a long time. Well, whatever you did, you came back
a whole lot better.

Speaker 4 (34:47):
Dude.

Speaker 7 (34:48):
Okay, I'm stilling to like some things that you got
to say. Now, don't take this a wrong way. Now,
don't get crazy, but you're doing good.

Speaker 10 (34:54):
Now.

Speaker 3 (34:56):
Yes, I'm gonna have to give.

Speaker 14 (34:59):
To wind up Murphy past today. You know what I'm saying,
She's not my favorite person whatsoever. Now, I don't condone
like Prince y'all said, the fact that you're telling somebody
you're gonna deport them, because that right there to me
is go back to Africa.

Speaker 7 (35:13):
You know what I'm saying, that's out of order.

Speaker 14 (35:15):
However, somebody comes to her inbox calling her out her
name to be worried. Let me go back and real
quickly saying, y'all ask a question, did the president change.

Speaker 7 (35:24):
The way we do talk to right now or public feet?
The app is yes, the crap he did.

Speaker 14 (35:32):
We got a president they call women ugly, dog face
and everything else on the books the president of the
United States. Now somebody gonna say, well, maritiths.

Speaker 7 (35:42):
They don't make it right there. I'll make an excuse.

Speaker 14 (35:44):
But all the beatty two shoes y'all doing, I'm not
mad that it's a new day because what was going
on before always have been behind the scenes. Now people
are tired.

Speaker 7 (35:55):
Of doing things behind the scenes.

Speaker 14 (35:56):
Like justin Pearson, sometimes you do have to give a
person's straight I have no problem with Juanna Murphy. So
when comes to in bustings and call her her name
and saying, hey, you got the wrong freaking one. This
ain't what you want, sister, nothing wrong with that. So
I'm not gonna come down hard on her for.

Speaker 7 (36:12):
That, because you have a right to defend yourself.

Speaker 14 (36:14):
I'm not gonna call her ghetto or anything for this
right here, because she came to her personal inbox. Now,
I know we're saying when you are in the public figure,
so you because having decorum, yes, you should guess what's
for me to.

Speaker 7 (36:26):
A certain degree. Mayor Harrington, what did he say? We
had a mayor of niffics. Ain't see all y'all on
the radio talking about him when he said this ain't
what you want?

Speaker 14 (36:36):
I would not he was.

Speaker 1 (36:39):
He was always on the news. To man, they were
like always in Mayor Harrington's face.

Speaker 14 (36:44):
Absolutely, I'm saying, man, Mayor Hanson's like, ah no, y'all aint.

Speaker 7 (36:48):
Even gonna come in me like that.

Speaker 14 (36:49):
So time people we got to it's okay to stand
up to bullies because American people can be bullies, and
that because you're a professional, because you're a politician. They
don't mean he has to take that laying down. I
ain't saying coff people bes and aches and all that
kind of stuff, but you can professionally get somebody together
and mean every word that you say.

Speaker 7 (37:06):
But that's my thought on this stormy.

Speaker 1 (37:07):
Thank you for letting me in, all right, Maredan, thank
you so much for colling Anne. I appreciate you calling
on today. Yeah all right, let me go to this
line right here. W d I A hello.

Speaker 15 (37:17):
That storm?

Speaker 1 (37:18):
Hey queen, how are you on this beautiful humpany hum day?

Speaker 4 (37:25):
I am wonders, wonderful you doing it.

Speaker 1 (37:27):
I'm doing good, doing good.

Speaker 9 (37:30):
That's good.

Speaker 4 (37:30):
That's good.

Speaker 15 (37:31):
Now I agree with some of the stuff that Merrit
had just said because I've been in that chair before
and and a lot of times. You know, since you
get when you get older, you are handling things a
little bit different because you know, I've been in a
situation here recently where someone did some things, you know,
And what I did was I walked away and I

(37:54):
told her, I said, you only talking to yourself and
walked away with a smile. Now, if I had been younger,
it'd been something different. But now you do have the
right to defend yourself when someone comes.

Speaker 1 (38:07):
Forth to you like that.

Speaker 4 (38:09):
But it's a way to do that, and the way
I would have.

Speaker 15 (38:12):
Handled it would be this way. I'd wait to that person.
If I'm working there with that person, I would wait
till I get off work and invite her to dinner
or something like that, a lunch or whatever, and then
I would sit down at the.

Speaker 4 (38:23):
Table and I would tell her what I need to
tell her. Then it'd be just me and her. You know,
nobody else.

Speaker 2 (38:27):
Would know this.

Speaker 15 (38:28):
Just send her.

Speaker 4 (38:29):
That's where I that's the way I would handle it now.

Speaker 15 (38:31):
Because people gonna talk about you like a dog. You
know that that's just the way people's are some people.
But Storman, I was raised different. You know, I was
raised different.

Speaker 4 (38:40):
And everybody's not the same. You know, you was raised
the old way and I was.

Speaker 15 (38:44):
Raised old way. You know about all that whooping and
all of that. Yeah, you know, And let me tell
you it pays off. You know, I used to didn't
like it, But let me tell you it pays off
mostly those older years wait, our parents raised us. I
love it, you know now when people get married the
second time, then my husband got a preemap Okay, he's

(39:07):
got girls, got boys, and he's had quite a bit
of property, and I have quite a bit of property.

Speaker 10 (39:13):
So all of my things go.

Speaker 4 (39:14):
To my children, and all of his us go to
his children.

Speaker 15 (39:17):
And one thing that they don't have to worry about.
He's got a home, a nice home, you know, four
miles up.

Speaker 4 (39:22):
The highway from me. He stays, and I stays in minds.

Speaker 16 (39:26):
I go down there.

Speaker 4 (39:27):
He comes up here.

Speaker 1 (39:28):
That's the way we got it, and we love it.

Speaker 4 (39:30):
We love it. When his children come.

Speaker 15 (39:32):
In town, I don't go down there and get in
their face.

Speaker 4 (39:35):
I stay at my home.

Speaker 1 (39:36):
He visited with his children like that.

Speaker 10 (39:38):
My children when.

Speaker 15 (39:39):
They come, he stay down there and I visit with
my children. That's the understanding we've got, and we have
a beautiful relationship.

Speaker 10 (39:45):
There's nothing wrong with that now.

Speaker 15 (39:47):
Captain what he said on the radio last week, he
was right about that. You have to be careful what
you say about peoples on the radio nowadays and anywhere else,
because you don't know how these people are thinking, what
type of people these.

Speaker 1 (40:01):
Are they are?

Speaker 4 (40:02):
You don't know.

Speaker 15 (40:02):
You know, you'll never know if somebody could walk up.

Speaker 4 (40:05):
On you and say, hey man, I heard what you said,
this and this and the other, and it's all over
with you see what I'm talking about.

Speaker 7 (40:11):
You can't.

Speaker 4 (40:12):
You can't do that now. That's how you find a lot.

Speaker 15 (40:15):
Of people murdered because some things have happen that we
know nothing about.

Speaker 10 (40:20):
And you got to understand you.

Speaker 4 (40:21):
Just can't say those different things like that.

Speaker 11 (40:25):
No, you can't.

Speaker 4 (40:28):
He made a very good point on that, uh, And
you just have to be careful nowadays. Anyway. That's all
I got.

Speaker 15 (40:34):
Stormant, But Storming, you're doing a great job.

Speaker 4 (40:37):
Love you listen, love you, you take care this man.
Love you too, queen, and you have a wonderful email.

Speaker 1 (40:44):
Okay, all right, thank you so much, you too.

Speaker 4 (40:46):
Yeah, I do have.

Speaker 1 (40:50):
I'm gonna read a couple of emails, and I'm gonna
come to you Nick Jackson and Michael. Y'all, hang on,
I'm coming to you. I got you read it, Jackson,
I got you ready, y'all, hold up on. I'm going
to read a couple of these emails, and then I
have an email that I want to come back that
I want to read to you from Tauanna Murphy. All right,

(41:12):
but I'm gonna read a couple of emails. Missus Tosha Thomas.
Hey girl, she says, people are who they are. A
person's character doesn't automatically change for the better once they
get to be a politician or a political position, or
any other position of power. You didn't have to say it.

(41:32):
But Murphy was ghetto before she won, and she is
the same now. That energy isn't necessarily bad in itself,
but she uses it in the wrong way and has
no tact. Her passion could be a great asset if
only she had visual wisdom. As far as her deserving
an apology. If I have to ask for an apology,

(41:56):
I don't want it because it's probably not sincere. And
also as for Prince Charles mentioning Donald Trump possibly deserving
an apology for what if anything, that man owes millions
of people an apology for causing unnecessary chaos. To Wanna Murphy,

(42:18):
that's not the first time she has gone off on people.
No excuse for her words. And this person says, Stormy,
I feel like married is to be and she needs
to be put in her place. Sometimes read your email
and fix that and look at it, because I don't

(42:42):
think you miss something. I'm missing something in that email
and send it back to me. Okay, we're gonna take
a break. We're gonna come back. I'm gonna get to
you guys, Nick Jackson and Michael and I am going
to read the letter that has been sent to me.
Let me see who sent this letter to me. It

(43:03):
just got it by Jennifer Sharp and it says attached.
Please find a statement from Shelby County Board of Education
member to Wanna Murphy about her recent social media post.
I got that for you on the way, don't move
not on one five, three, five, nine, three four two
eight hundred five zero three nine three four two eight

(43:24):
three three five three five nine three four two and
I am stormy Stormy conversations on your radio. Thank you
guys for being here with me today. I really do
appreciate you and appreciate you getting in on the conversations.
You know, I have a whole lot of compassion for
people who have public positions, and I think sometimes don't

(43:46):
y'all find that we're probably harder on the people that
we don't like, but people that we do like, and
we may not even have a reason for not liking them,
but we may be harder on the people that we
don't like. The people that we do like, we give
them more grace. Why do we do that? Why are

(44:07):
we wired like that? I know it's human nature and
whatever whatever blah blah blah, and it is, but why
do we do that? Why don't we stop and think
when we do stuff like that? And when I say that,
when I say we, I'm talking about me too. I'm
talking about me too, Because there are people that I
actually actually like, all of our politicians. I don't have

(44:30):
any issues with any of them. I mean I like
how you know they handle things or you know, why
they don't do certain things or whatever. But I do
like all of them. But I think sometimes people just
don't like people, and it's hard for somebody to have

(44:51):
compassion or grace for somebody that they have already decided
in their mind that they don't like. Tell me it's
not the truth. Tell me it's not the truth. Some
people already don't like Tauana Murphy, so they can't have
compassion for anything she's going through. They already don't like

(45:14):
her for whatever reason. But Twanta made it. Put out
a statement. Now. This statement is from a Shelby County
Board of Education member, Tauana Murphy, and she says, I
want to apologize to the community and my board colleagues
for my interaction in a social media direct message with

(45:37):
a member of our community. While I found the initial
message from the individual to be disrespectful and upsetting, my
response did not represent the professionalism and respect that I
know or yeah, I know, should be a standard in

(45:58):
my service as an MSCs board member. It certainly was
not a reflection of my true feelings or intentions toward
the Latino community. I recognize the trauma and challenges facing
our immigrant and refugee communities and regret that this interaction

(46:21):
did not reflect my understanding and concern for these issues.
I want to assure my constituents because they stim constituents
was mad, big mad. It was all over social media,
she says. I want to assure my constituents that I
know our schools must be safe and welcoming environments for

(46:44):
our students and families. This interaction comes at a time
when we need to show support to ensure public education
is available for all. I am committed to learning from
this experience, rebuilding trust with our full community, and working

(47:08):
towards my goal to lead with professionalism and compassion. Now
there's a nice message. I like it, and I had
a feeling that she was going to say so. I
had a feeling. And the reason I had a feeling
that she was going to eventually release a statement and

(47:30):
an apology was because of how the Latino community went
at her on social media. They went to wall. Basically,
she had the back down. She said she wasn't she

(47:53):
was old. An apology. I feel like she had to
do it. Kudos to you, Tuanna for doing that. Kudos
to you. All right, let's get back to these phones.
How you doing, Lord, have mercy this man say good morning.

Speaker 2 (48:17):
Like uh, I'm trying to kind like w C. Oh,
good morning, good morning, Beverly.

Speaker 1 (48:26):
All, bless your han. You got a long way to go,
Jackson A long wait you all us an apology for that,
not just kidding, just kidding.

Speaker 2 (48:35):
Uh. Anyway, the great, the great Bobby.

Speaker 4 (48:41):
OJ said, I sound just like w C. Really yeah, enough.

Speaker 2 (48:46):
About you though, anyway.

Speaker 17 (48:48):
M uh.

Speaker 13 (48:50):
You know I I totally support Twanna Murphy.

Speaker 1 (48:56):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 13 (48:57):
She's kind hearted, she apologized us.

Speaker 17 (49:00):
And first of all, to Wanna Murphy had no power
to deport anybody, right, so so those you know, give
me a break.

Speaker 3 (49:12):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (49:13):
We put politicians in office to think for us basically
mm hmmm.

Speaker 17 (49:21):
Because most voters are ignorant. You know, most words are ignorant.
So we I'm out here with my boys. Uh, we're
about to practice baseball.

Speaker 2 (49:34):
So that's what she is.

Speaker 1 (49:35):
Background those babies are. So it's true he is a
referee or a cult or whatever he says.

Speaker 9 (49:42):
He is.

Speaker 13 (49:44):
Right right right, he bringing stuff. Okay, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.

Speaker 17 (49:55):
Well, oh I'll say this and now I let you go.

Speaker 2 (50:00):
Said something.

Speaker 17 (50:00):
I'm shall be bored to practice.

Speaker 2 (50:03):
Uh, queen, and you know I love her and the
other people.

Speaker 17 (50:09):
Who said I should tone down or whatever. You know,
if you call this radio station, be prepared to get
talked about.

Speaker 1 (50:20):
Period, period, period, period, at the end period, right, and.

Speaker 5 (50:28):
That includes me.

Speaker 17 (50:31):
We're going to talk about people. I don't do anything personal.
I don't I say the name that they are given
on the radio. I don't say their god given name. Yeah,
I have fun with him. I'm not being derogatory or anything.
And if people don't know what derogatory means, you can

(50:52):
look it up. I'm not being that harsh. But I
don't have to apologize if I am, because I'm and
and talk me Tomorrow. I'm gonna go down my top
five things that I do for this community. Maybe if
people give me a break.

Speaker 2 (51:10):
Oh yeah, yeah.

Speaker 17 (51:14):
Number number three is gonna be I coach seven, eight, nine, ten.

Speaker 2 (51:19):
Eleven twelve year olds on Meelee Road for free.

Speaker 4 (51:25):
It comes out of my pocket and shopping says.

Speaker 1 (51:28):
At fourteen ninety nine South third, you're so kind, Jackson.

Speaker 17 (51:35):
Yes, anyway, we're about we're about to start. I'll tell the.

Speaker 1 (51:40):
Boys that you said hello, Please please tell the boys,
and I said hello, all right, Jackson a.

Speaker 2 (51:48):
Child bet love today.

Speaker 1 (51:50):
Go that's what I'm talking about. Yeah, yeah, thank you Jackson.
He had to do it. Oh why world while you
do it? That's whats w D I A hello, hello.

Speaker 2 (52:05):
Pay Stormy?

Speaker 1 (52:06):
Hey, how you doing?

Speaker 5 (52:07):
Nick?

Speaker 2 (52:08):
Doing well?

Speaker 7 (52:09):
Doing well?

Speaker 2 (52:09):
Are you?

Speaker 1 (52:10):
I'm doing good? Doing good? Thank you for asking?

Speaker 2 (52:12):
Great? Hey, great, listen, it is good. It was good
to hear that toa wanna.

Speaker 5 (52:20):
Murphy gave it an apology and and I felt that
it was a sincere apology. And but even before I
heard the apology, I was going to give her extend
to her on Olive French. Not only not only her,
but Justin Pearson and doctor Roderick Richmond as well. Being

(52:48):
in leadership positions is a tough position to be in. Yeah,
And you really have to have tough skin, you really do.
And people people are gonna, really they're gonna come at
you and try to push your buttons.

Speaker 2 (53:03):
And and I will say this, I will.

Speaker 5 (53:06):
Say this, Stormy, if you allow me to. You have
to you have to be able order to say a
harsh word uh stirs up ang able.

Speaker 2 (53:18):
A kind word uh turns away wrath. And so we
have to be quick.

Speaker 9 (53:24):
We have to be quick.

Speaker 5 (53:25):
Minded in order to be able to respond in such
a manner, uh that we can diffuse a lot of
situations and uh not find ourselves as a politicians or
leaders of any sort in a position where we have
to retract and give apologies to something that could possibly

(53:45):
come back and be a phone in our side throughout
our leadership. So some things are stormy, you can say,
but I mean, it's just going to come back to
hunt you at some point. So you know, the apology,
the apology was great from all of them, justin Pearson,
doctor Richmond, but you know, it's in people's mind and

(54:07):
especially especially the ones that it offended, and uh, they
may be the ones that are not as forgiving as
as some.

Speaker 2 (54:16):
Of us are.

Speaker 5 (54:17):
So we just got to be careful what we put
out there because words do her.

Speaker 1 (54:23):
Yeah, words do her.

Speaker 5 (54:24):
They Yeah, absolutely absolutely. Hey that's my take on that.

Speaker 2 (54:28):
Stormy.

Speaker 5 (54:28):
Thanks a lot for giving me the platform.

Speaker 1 (54:30):
All right, thank you, Nick, I appreciate you calling in. Yeah,
appreciate it all right, bye bye. Yeah, it's yeah. Words yeah,
people say it don't but to do show do.

Speaker 6 (54:38):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (54:38):
Let's see, Tawanna Murphy and Tammy Sawyer are the worst
people that y'all have put in office. They both have
the same nasty attitudes and don't know how to conduct themselves.
And he also says that apology she gave sucks. I
don't believe nothing she says. She is a hot mess
and that's why the school board is in the shape

(54:59):
it is. And now and tell Jackson, don't change because
I like how you be cutting up on the radio. Okay,
w D I A hello you doing, Michael? How are you?
I'm good?

Speaker 5 (55:15):
Who were fine?

Speaker 4 (55:16):
Uh?

Speaker 5 (55:17):
Tajuanta Murphy is harder the first ignorant person on the
school board. We've had them here before. She's not an anomaly.
And Nucky had a good point. I think Nick and
Jackson when you talked about elected officials.

Speaker 4 (55:31):
And you had you asked the question, you know, watching some.

Speaker 5 (55:34):
Easy for people to you know, be meaning people that
they don't like, but to politicians or elected officials, whatever
whatever you want to be called. You ran for that seat.

Speaker 1 (55:46):
Now you're right about that. You run for that seat.

Speaker 5 (55:48):
You got to deal with the mud too, right, Rayful
Raine did with the mud. So and Tajuanta Murphy is
my opinion, one of the most ignorant people I've ever
seen walk this planet. She is because not just on
a school board. She whoever said in that email, she

(56:08):
always has been and she has and I fought the
people of Missus of putting her on the seat book.
That's another story for another day. But going with Maria said,
you don't call somebody out of their name.

Speaker 4 (56:23):
I don't care what it is.

Speaker 5 (56:25):
That's that's a line you can agree with, you can
disagree with with.

Speaker 10 (56:30):
With the core as of somebody's.

Speaker 5 (56:32):
Being, the fact that they're breathing air could make you
sick to your stomach. However, you don't get to just
call people whatever you want to call them out of
their name. Now, if they are ignorant, they are ignorant.
But you don't call people you don't. You don't call
a woman to be, you don't call a man to
be or or you know, you just don't do it.

(56:52):
You just don't do it. Now, if you're coming on
their behavior, that's one thing. I think her behavior is ignorant.

Speaker 4 (56:58):
It always has been.

Speaker 5 (56:59):
But I'm not call that woman out of her name
because if she called.

Speaker 18 (57:02):
Me out of my name.

Speaker 5 (57:03):
To Michael, I may think you stupid.

Speaker 7 (57:05):
Okay, that's cool.

Speaker 5 (57:06):
Well, Mike, I think you would be, well, that's a
different animal, you know, and when you cross certain lines
you're out of order. But as far as her apology,
I agree with you.

Speaker 7 (57:15):
She she ain't want to keep.

Speaker 1 (57:17):
Dealing with the smoke.

Speaker 5 (57:19):
And see, it's certain things you shouldn't say. You with
the whole she I hope you get deported. And Jane
would look, I said all the time. If I don't
remember anything else, she would say every day she would say,
let's a greedy disagree without being disagreeble, and you can
just leave it at that. Man, everybody's everybody's an adult.
And speaking of adult, this queen, that's a grown woman.

(57:42):
Well she was saying about how she handles her situation
with her.

Speaker 7 (57:46):
Husband and his kids.

Speaker 5 (57:47):
That's a grown woman, and younger sisters listen to her.
That's how grown women, Daniel, that's how grown women talk.
And I said it all the time, all these extremely
fine sisters walking around by themselves because they're not grown
m or like they've grown, and they see by themselves

(58:10):
they like me, and they aren't grown. It's different when
you're grown.

Speaker 9 (58:15):
I just love, just love to hear their sister talk because.

Speaker 4 (58:17):
She that's a grown woman. That was talking.

Speaker 5 (58:22):
But I appreciate you, miss Stormy, all.

Speaker 1 (58:24):
Right, Michael, appreciate you mm and your admiration for a
queen come on.

Speaker 4 (58:32):
Here as nice as rye.

Speaker 1 (58:35):
But you know, yeah, yeah, yeah, now you might be
right about that, thank you, Michael.

Speaker 18 (58:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (58:41):
Man, we we've got to learn, or at least let's
try to listen. Let's try to commit to disagreeing agreeably.
I know, I know it's hard for some people and
even don't like to do it.

Speaker 2 (58:55):
You don't want to do it.

Speaker 1 (58:56):
Mm hmm. And like I said, when I say that,
I'm talking to me too, man, because I I yeah,
I try not to be hard when it comes to
certain things, because man, I think about you know that's
saying you point the fingers somebody you got three pointing
back at you. I mean, what's what you got going on?
You know what I'm saying. And I don't bring all

(59:17):
my stuff to this radio. I don't three yell all
my beausiness mm mmmm. And I ain't perfect. She wish
I was, though, but I ain't. It's coach, she says, honey, please,
you will pop off again. It's just her. Of course
she will apologize. It's w d I a where everyone

(59:40):
is tuned in killed two birds with one stone. I'm nice,
but don't come for me unless I send for y'all.
That's a MSS coacher said, m get back to these phones,
all right, w D I A hello? Hey coming man,
I'm good. How you doing.

Speaker 4 (01:00:00):
I'm going from enjoying the positive and construct the conversation today.

Speaker 1 (01:00:05):
Oh good, I'm glad.

Speaker 4 (01:00:07):
Yeah, yeah, But I want to say this. I want
to hit on few things I heard. Uh, I heard
what Captain said the other day, and I heard what
Queen said today, and uh, actually I agree with them,
and I want to say this, storm man. A lot
of times some of us use this platform for the
wrong reasons, including myself, including myself. You asked the question, yeah,

(01:00:33):
you you. You asked the question, why is it you
know a person that don't like someone that they're so
easy to go hard on them, harder, be more hot
or whatever. That that's true.

Speaker 2 (01:00:43):
That's true.

Speaker 4 (01:00:44):
It's a couple of people that I had a situations
with over the era on this on this platform, and
I've been just as you know, out of order if
they have right. But one day, doctor Jeffers was speaking
about affirmations, and at that point I made my mind
up to turn their thing around. You know, I heard

(01:01:06):
two people this week shoot at me. But guess what,
it don't bother me because I decided to do the opposite.
So I'm gonna say right now, those two people they
know who they are. I don't have a problem with
you are. But if you all want to continue keep
doing it, that's on you, because I understand and realize
the platform is not for that. You know, to be

(01:01:29):
shooting shots and having a hat and dislike for one another,
is that really what this platform is for.

Speaker 11 (01:01:35):
We usually we use it in the.

Speaker 4 (01:01:37):
Wrong way sometime. And I'm not saying this to try
to shoot shots at them or nothing like that. I'm
just trying to say, this is not what it's supposed
to be about. I don't think we could use it
for so many good reasons if we decide to. But
a lot of times we intentionally do things that are
not even necessary that could cause conflict and things of

(01:01:59):
that nature. Yeah, you know, really could Yeah, I mean,
you shoot at me, I can shoot at you. You
come after me, I can come after you. But you
know what, storm, I thought about a lot of different things.
I got cheer dren, I got grand children, I got
a huge family.

Speaker 1 (01:02:15):
That I love and enjoyed being with.

Speaker 8 (01:02:18):
Somebody could put me in a casket in a blank.

Speaker 4 (01:02:20):
Of a minute, just like I could do to them,
and then what It'll only be something for somebody to
talk about over the radio in hin the news. Wow,
I'm done with it. I'm done with it. I don't
have no problem. Nobody hate me if you want to,
that's on you. But my affirmation is a hell of

(01:02:41):
a thing.

Speaker 1 (01:02:42):
If you use that ag hockey stick, storman ag hockey sticks.
Who know you said the word, yeah, h h hockey sticks.

Speaker 4 (01:02:55):
Oh oh, I'm sorry. I'm sorry if I did, I
just you know, it's just it's firing out, you know,
it's time out life.

Speaker 1 (01:03:01):
It is so man, you that what you said, man
is powerful you and I feel your passion too, and
I come a man. I commend you, man. I think
it's beautiful.

Speaker 4 (01:03:12):
Serious man, I'm gonna tell you, Man, I love my
children's so much stormt man, Man ain't nowhere in the world.
I'm glaud This radio could be just like Facebook if
we let it. We could get in so much trouble
on this radio by doing stuff that's not in serious
stuff that's to be And like I said, I've done
it myself, so I'm not trying to point nobody else

(01:03:33):
out and call them. I'm talking about myself too.

Speaker 1 (01:03:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:03:36):
But like I said, I'm through with that, so anybody else,
y'all can keep on. A lot of times I smiled
that I'm telling the truth. You know. I surmound about it,
you know, but man, I ain't going there like that.
And I don't want to take nobody out like that,
you know what I mean. Yeah, So when I call you,
I'm trying to be on a positive note, trying my
best to all I talked to you the next time.

Speaker 1 (01:03:58):
I appreciate you, all right, I appreciate.

Speaker 4 (01:03:59):
Your appreciate you all right.

Speaker 1 (01:04:01):
Bye. Wow, confess, this is my confession. Just when I thought,
uh most of the words, I thought, I wait a minute,
how do you say that? Just when I thought anyway, child?
Uh man, what a confession? Wow? All right, listen, Uh

(01:04:22):
you got one. I'll let your girl listen. I gotta
take a break. We're gonna come back and uh take
some more of your calls and your comments. Kudos again
to to Wanna Murphy for releasing the apology that she did.
If I get a chance before we go, I'll read
it to you again. I thought it was good. Some

(01:04:43):
of y'all don't like it, and it's okay, we're all different.
Let me say, if you got to say, you know,
as long as you ain't being too out of the way,
I'm gonna read it. Some of y'all be going off
all the way off in these emails. An away, Honah, Linda,
Big Khona King, Harry. Okay, I'm coming back to get you.

(01:05:05):
Your Wednesday is going well, Yeah, back at it. Let
me see you got more of your emails and all
that good stuff to read and your conversations. Matter of fact,
let me read some of these emails. Stormy Michael is
preaching the word today. I like that. Brother. Mimss Vivian says,
good evening, Stormy. Hope aul I hope you all save

(01:05:27):
some compassion for her till next time, because she will
be put she will put her foot in her mouth again.
She always do. Okay, Stormy, don't believe a thing that
what that what that big Kahoonah has to say. He's
full of fake news? What okay? Uh salute brother common man.

(01:05:51):
You just raised the bar. My brother. I always enjoy
what you have to say daily, all right, and uh,
let's see Andy says, Hey, Stormy the H word. I
just want to know why do you have a problem
with your caller saying uh h hockey sticks. I'm curious.
I don't know, I just do. It's just a thing,

(01:06:12):
you know what I'm saying. Just a thing, you know.
Just see that ain't that big deal? You know what
I'm saying. I really like saying that to them when
they do that. You know what I'm saying. You know
what I'm saying. You know what I'm saying. I she brother,
don't know what I'm saying.

Speaker 8 (01:06:30):
W d I A hello, good Eve mean Stormy to
how you doing it?

Speaker 1 (01:06:35):
I'm wonderful, big ca. Hold on, how are you?

Speaker 8 (01:06:39):
I'm doing just fine. We've got several things we got
to go over and be quick.

Speaker 5 (01:06:43):
Now.

Speaker 8 (01:06:44):
Now read that email about here again because I want
to explain something to mister out it t himself. Mister Jackson.

Speaker 2 (01:06:52):
No, that wasn't.

Speaker 1 (01:06:54):
That wasn't Jackson.

Speaker 8 (01:06:55):
And let you know, you can say whatever you want
about me, because a lot of that it's funny, I mean.

Speaker 1 (01:07:03):
Come from Jackson. Though that email came.

Speaker 8 (01:07:04):
From I'm not talking about the email I'm talking about
yesterday when you stopped him. Don't you down stop Jackson
from talking about me?

Speaker 1 (01:07:13):
I don't I'm gonna stop him when he talked about everybody.

Speaker 4 (01:07:18):
I laugh at it.

Speaker 8 (01:07:19):
It don't bother me. It does not bother me, Stormy,
not one bit. And a lot of times I laugh
at it. You know, there's no it's no big issue
what people say not to me. Now, if and I
give people a piece of advice, Now, if you thin
skin or whatever, I don't call this radio station because

(01:07:40):
you're gonna have people that like you, and you're gonna
have certain people that.

Speaker 2 (01:07:43):
Don't like you. Not just the bottom lad.

Speaker 8 (01:07:46):
Now, when it comes to mister Tauana Murphy, what it
is you have to understand something, Miss Stormy.

Speaker 11 (01:07:53):
It's a track.

Speaker 8 (01:07:53):
Record of behavior, behavior, and if you look at it overall,
it constantly reels his ugly head. It is not her
first incident with people. It doesn't happen on numerous occasions.
So when it comes to her a party or whatever,
my personal opinion I think is all washed, mylartead and

(01:08:17):
that's just me. And I look at it like this,
and I'm and I'm gonna go ahead.

Speaker 2 (01:08:22):
And let you go.

Speaker 8 (01:08:22):
I was gonna talk about it because well Trump took
off the terrors for everybody except China.

Speaker 4 (01:08:27):
But now I have seen a many many board meetings.

Speaker 8 (01:08:32):
I looked at them throughout the years, and I worked
for Shelvy County Schools and retired from there. Now I've
never seen people that been on the board with the
serious attitude malice towards someone and showing it walking out
on her. And he you had Twanna Murphy. She's sitting

(01:08:53):
there eating all over the plate. If you there for
a board meeting, you're supposed to be there, and because
of trading on your task at the hand or doing
your job, you don't have no time for no eating
and snacking all the time. It can't on. So, like
I said ear here, it just reals it's ugly head
because that's a total pattern of her behavior that's been

(01:09:16):
constantly going on. And remember, folks, the place to be
is with Stormy Tea the experience ten seventy w D
I A thank you very much, thank you.

Speaker 1 (01:09:29):
Big girl who now love how he signs off. Thank
you so very much, appreciate you. W D I A hello,
hik Stormy Hey kay, how you doing.

Speaker 6 (01:09:41):
I was holding on until I hand on.

Speaker 1 (01:09:44):
I know that's right.

Speaker 4 (01:09:46):
You know I want even discuss a unconsequential who talks.

Speaker 6 (01:09:50):
To it probably came a spell of word derogatory irrespective
of knowing the inning of it. But you do have
callers who do get in touch with government because you
if they don't pay for I've been a lot of
middle schools whatever I've written program whoever, and they will passed.
So people can do things behind the scene, but they
have a low mean challenge. People calling there this one

(01:10:12):
sister named Keken Puture.

Speaker 5 (01:10:13):
In your place.

Speaker 6 (01:10:14):
You're very disrespectful man, mister Jackson. If you all ready
to tag, you wear that tag.

Speaker 4 (01:10:19):
But see this over here, I said directly to you.

Speaker 6 (01:10:23):
Don't have to say it any burliiny to anybody because
you can't put anybody in accessible. People can get in
and that of it when they get ready at their own.

Speaker 1 (01:10:29):
Wheel storm it. I don't really called to tell you.

Speaker 6 (01:10:32):
People normally talk to people on the level that they
perceived them as being. If they consider you, they have
a lowman challenge, that their head is bigger than yours.
They're going to talk down to you. And a lot
of times you have to deal with people according to
that lingo. So they worked all count of rays on
that note.

Speaker 1 (01:10:49):
Thank you all right, thank you so much. I appreciate
your calling. In she went. She went at him to
the throat. Let me see w d I a halloo,
he starmy. How you doing doing?

Speaker 18 (01:11:06):
I'm wonderful her you doing?

Speaker 1 (01:11:07):
I'm doing good. I'm doing good.

Speaker 2 (01:11:10):
Well, I'm wanted to comment.

Speaker 18 (01:11:12):
I agree with what Niek said, and also I think
with Michael, I definitely agree with what they said. But
I think right now, in the climate in which weekend,
when the president, which is the highest electing official in
these United States of America, if he can act the
way that he does, and people think it's accept the behavior,

(01:11:34):
a lot of people just seem to think that they
can do all of this. And it's a Nippian to see.
To wanna Murphy be so unprofessional on every level. And
I have been in mythis my entire life, well not
in my entire life, but the majority of my life.
I have never seen the board members so many of them,
so for my understanding not to be really qualified. Sometimes

(01:11:59):
when you elect these people, you need to actually look
at more than just their name recognition. You need to
see how their character is how they act among people.
Tauanna Murphy has showed who she is under a numerous
amount occasions. I mean, now she's apologizing. I will give
her a few more months and it'll be something else.

(01:12:20):
It's a level of professionalism. Okay, that's what I think
is missing in a lot of elected positions.

Speaker 7 (01:12:28):
You know, you may not like somebody, you may.

Speaker 18 (01:12:30):
Have feelings, you know from very very strong feelings about
some stuff, but you need to build a little bit
more reserved And it's like, we need to bring back professionalism.
So many people miss it. I mean when you look
at the office of the President and just look at
the way for Barack Obama carry himself, whether you like
his politics or not, you had to give him his

(01:12:53):
pops for always being professional, right, he was a professional man.

Speaker 7 (01:12:59):
I'm like the character we have now.

Speaker 18 (01:13:02):
And that's the way I like to compare a Torouanta.

Speaker 7 (01:13:06):
Tuanta is not.

Speaker 18 (01:13:07):
Professional on no level.

Speaker 5 (01:13:09):
So I hope this.

Speaker 18 (01:13:11):
You know, the next season is trying to elect people,
you need to look at more than oh we know her,
you know she was on the board.

Speaker 14 (01:13:18):
No, she has showed you who she is.

Speaker 2 (01:13:21):
Some things you just have to.

Speaker 18 (01:13:22):
Walk a different walk. When you're doing that, and I
think that's where, you know, people miss the market, you know,
and I'm one of that.

Speaker 7 (01:13:30):
Give her a few months again. I mean, this has
been just my opinions.

Speaker 17 (01:13:35):
For me.

Speaker 18 (01:13:36):
The current board members has been so unprofessional.

Speaker 1 (01:13:41):
I've never seen it.

Speaker 18 (01:13:42):
And I'm not saying all of them, but I'm saying.

Speaker 7 (01:13:44):
Quite a few of them are not professional.

Speaker 18 (01:13:47):
And it needs to be some type of oversight, some
type of sancture that when they are, when they become
bad actors, that you have to tap their hands and
you know, whatever that means, I'm not sure what it means,
but something needs to happen to be and if you
cannot be over an elected, you know, in a board
like that and just constantly being a bad actor, so

(01:14:08):
I think something needs to be done, you know, and
not just her, but with our president as well. You know,
we have checks and balances and for some reason they
just let him run amok as well.

Speaker 2 (01:14:19):
Something has to be done, you just hear.

Speaker 7 (01:14:22):
And if Memphis is and I'm.

Speaker 18 (01:14:23):
Gonna say this is my last point to Wanta has
to know, as a black female, people are going to
check you even more. They always check us more. So
sometimes we have to walk a different walk, So I
mean she needs to think about that, maybe take some
cues from the other lady. I think her name is Michelle, Yes,

(01:14:46):
that should be the person she should talk to about
how to carry herself and act in a professional manner.
I think she would be the person who would be
a model for quite a few of the board members.
And I don't know her time in the fight.

Speaker 2 (01:15:00):
I just think she's professional.

Speaker 1 (01:15:02):
Gotcha you too, Thank you for calling in. I appreciate
your comment. You know, African consultants said this, and I agree.
He says a caliber of politicians in office says the
or the Rather, the caliber of the politician in office
says a lot about the caliber of the electorate. And

(01:15:27):
that's tough, it's tight, but it's right. I steal somebody words.
Oh lord, but what I'm trying to tell you is
that the caliber of the politician in office says a
lot about the caliber of the electorate.

Speaker 5 (01:15:44):
Mmm.

Speaker 1 (01:15:47):
And here's the deal too, Because we can, we can,
we can, we can talk all we want. But I'm
gonna tell you so, it didn't take a lot of
people voting to elect some of the people in office
in office, and I'm talking about city wide. People are
not voting. They're not voting. That's, in my opinion, the problem.

(01:16:16):
And I said it before, you get what you don't
vote for. And the reason I say that is because
people didn't vote. Way more people in that district than
went out to vote, way more, but they didn't think
enough to get up and go vote. Let me get

(01:16:37):
off of my horse, Let me get off of that okay.
Ms King says, hey, miss King, how you doing? Oh
my goodness, I hope you're feeling better. Girls, She says,
I'm not a fan of Murphy simply because of her attitude,
but I intentionally don't comment on post about her on
social media. Sometimes we are harder on people that we

(01:16:58):
don't like because we are sometimes extremely biased. And let's
be real. Most people that are against her are only
against her because she voted to get rid of Fagan's
and she has made herself an easy target for people
to jump on because she takes her foolishness to social
media and because she has been the one in front

(01:17:22):
of the camera making statements wow.

Speaker 6 (01:17:26):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (01:17:27):
Then there are others who voted against Fagans and people
dislike them, but they are not in the spotlight as
Tauana again, she makes herself an easy target because of
her mouth and her bad attitude. Missus Jordan says, now,
I second, big Kahunah enough said. People don't be fooled.

(01:17:50):
That's all. Pr hmm. We go back to these phones.
WD I A hello, hey you I'm all right good?
Wait a minute, hold up, Wait a minute, hold up?

What was that.

Speaker 1 (01:18:15):
Talk to me?

Speaker 5 (01:18:17):
Uh?

Speaker 10 (01:18:17):
Well, I was just looking at the news and that's
the news and they were saying that uh Michelle Obama
slam that room or what they tell about they were
getting a divorce. They ain't gonna getting over the divorce.

Speaker 1 (01:18:26):

heard me say it? I knew it. That dumb man
folks minding their business. There's always some rumors about them, always.

Speaker 10 (01:18:37):
Yeah, yeah, and then somebody some other people. You know,
a lot of people have been together two, three, five,
ten years and the divorce or what what's wrong with
them being divorced? And if they want to go the
typt way right, you know, I mean, they didn't make
a big thing out of nothing.

Speaker 3 (01:18:49):
You know.

Speaker 10 (01:18:50):
So, yeah, I appreciate that I was listening at this
stuff what they were saying about. But people should stop,
uh you know, you know, doing folks like they're doing
the rail talking about it and all that kind of stuff.
It don't make no sense. You know, it is done.
We got to get along with one another, you know,
and we're the only people that don't get along one another.
It's just the same. It's just a same were getting worse.

(01:19:11):
And he folks this stuff study caming.

Speaker 17 (01:19:13):
You know.

Speaker 10 (01:19:13):
I heard some uh read some the other night on
the computer and uh and it was just from the
news out there. Uh that was saying that this man
come out, uh declared martial laws. I said, now what
they know this folks did this, you know, you know
they know what he's doing. And they ain't trying to
stop at the Congress out of thaning.

Speaker 4 (01:19:31):
And that's the same way. That's the same way uh.

Speaker 10 (01:19:35):
God did when he kicked staying out of out of helping.
Don't hang to know God had all the power. They
still follow say now and that's that's the way done.

Speaker 4 (01:19:41):
Donal Trump.

Speaker 10 (01:19:42):
So, I mean I heard he was the Grand Marshal
of the group of playing and uh, and plus he
and that other stuff too, so number of stuff. So
I mean that that man, you know, he got something
on them. All the folks got that man like that.
He that he don't my own know, we're just this
country uncomfort. But they don't hurt up man pisch him.
A lot of people might not teaching now I haven't
keep old with it, but uh they they need to

(01:20:03):
stop it.

Speaker 4 (01:20:04):
I mean this is I mean it just straw in
this comfort.

Speaker 10 (01:20:08):
It's just just destroy. You're just pulling stuff.

Speaker 4 (01:20:10):
You ain't checking nothing. You just cutting it stuff out.

Speaker 10 (01:20:12):
You ain't checking nothing about how much it's been the
old little how much and mission or nothing. You just
just getting stuff down. And I just don't know. People
better get together, call the four rest. They stopping up
on everything and.

Speaker 4 (01:20:23):
A can well get you know, uh before this ess here.
