do what we're doing. Okay, nine o one five three five,
nine three four two eight hundred five zero three nine
three four two eight three three five three five nine
(00:23):
three four two.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
Those are the numbers to get at me.
Speaker 1 (00:26):
But you also know you can email me right Stormy
t at my double U di i a dot com
Stormy t at my double U di ia dot com. Oh,
you can tap that iHeartRadio app and I love it
because y'all have really been getting in and getting on
that tapping that app.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
Hi Stormy, This is MSUs Coach shan Heymus Kochh.
Speaker 3 (00:50):
I'm calling to wish my great granddaughter Zaiah Ray a
happy birthday on today m and also next month she
will be graduating from these Soulsville Charter School birth So I.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
Well, I write, that's what I'm talking about. Well, I'll write,
did y'all watch that game last night? Y'all watched the
Grizzlies play last night? Man mm mmmm lost again. But
that's okay because Thursday night, I believe that they can
turn it around. You know, here's an idea for the Grizzlies.
(01:32):
Perhaps they could have a choir sing to them before
the games. Mm hmm, have a choir sing too. You
don't get them pumped up, you know what I'm saying,
Get them pumped up and hopefully you know, maybe a yeah,
all right, let's get into it. I ah, man, I
(01:55):
saw the story on wr EG. Kind of broke my
heart to see that five people have died within a
seven hour span. You got to be kidding me. Now,
if crime was down after a few days, it might
not be you know what I'm saying, It five five
(02:20):
and they say it started yesterday about five thirty. Within
a seven hour span, five shootings where at least five
people have died in Memphis. M I want to you know,
I want to try to give a solution. I don't
(02:40):
have a solution to that one, except for maybe a
lot of enough people aren't getting enough. Maybe we don't
have enough skills. I met this man in old Foods.
I was in Whole Foods about a week or two ago,
and I'm hoping he will call me because I forgot
his name. We did. I did his phone number by
got his name, so I don't know how to find
(03:01):
his name in my phone. But anyway, he told me
that he works with a nonprofit organization and what they
do is they help men deal with their anger issues.
That's what he told me. And I was like, wow,
that sounds so good. You want to come and talk
to me about it? And I'm I gotta find I
(03:21):
gotta find his name, gotta find his number so I
can get him in here to talk because I feel
like anger is a part of all of this. Everybody's angry,
everybody is everybody need Aqui. Everybody need Toquiy to just
come up, pull up at their house, help him drive
away that anger, drive it away, because that is too
(03:43):
much seven hours and it's starting to get warm too,
and that's a problem. I mean, that's that definitely concerns
me and I'm sure it concerns a lot of you
as well. Crime stoppers many they said they've announced that
twenty five thousand dollars, that's how much they're going to
pay to get information on mass shootings. The mass shooting
(04:07):
that happened on Hickory Hill. Yeah, the reward now twenty
five thousand dollars.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
Six people were shot.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
One victim let me see Matthew Williams who was twenty two.
He died. But yeah, crime Stoppers is due to extra
donations and fundraising. The reward for finding out who did
that one? Twenty five thousand dollars and child? What is going?
Who got the purse over at Madabay because somebody had
(04:37):
been spending like correct?
Speaker 2 (04:40):
Did y'all see the new.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
Story wrd EG did. Four hundred and thirty nine thousand
dollars went to hotels and trips between twenty seventeen and
twenty twenty four. The credit card statements show more than
two hundred seventy six thousand dollars was spent on plane,
trains and automobiles. Just kidding, it was spent on planes. Well, train,
(05:03):
I was close planes, train tickets, seed up grades, baggage
and other collection fees. That's at a council meeting, a
committee meeting earlier this month, Matters New interim CEO John
Lewis told the council that they've made some changes to
the travel policy.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
You're gonna have to make some changes to the policy.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
I fifth people can come over there and work for
y'all and spend all Willy NIELI like that, just spending money,
just okay. The former CEO Gary Rosenfeld charged the flight
from Turkey to Greece that was November night. What them
(05:45):
folks got to do with matter? What that trip got
to do. At another trip in June twenty twenty three
to Sydney, Australia, the more than eleven thousand dollars plane
ticket paid for using Matters credit card points. So okay,
(06:06):
y'all help me.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
Out with this. When they spend money like this, is
this our money? There's who who?
Speaker 1 (06:12):
Who? Money?
Speaker 4 (06:13):
Is?
Speaker 2 (06:13):
They spend it because that somebody's been having a time.
Speaker 1 (06:16):
I mean they traveling and seeing the world on us.
I think a lot of this money is ours. Even
if it's federal dollars, it's our money. If it's city dollars,
it's our money. So somebody needs to close the purse
over it matter, close it up, shut it down, shut
(06:39):
the purse up, shut it down, the old but then
no more.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
And I know that's gonna be.
Speaker 1 (06:47):
Hard to do because they still who that's a lot,
that's a lot of money on what sounds like.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
I don't know shouldn't be spent on.
Speaker 1 (06:59):
You know what I'm saying, because don't y'all need buses
and stuff like that.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
Don't y'all need that kind of stuff? Don't we need that?
Speaker 1 (07:07):
I don't know, I don't know what's going on with Matta,
but y'all tell me what you think about that, and
tell me you know how you're feeling about all that
money being spent on whatever. Shannon Sharp. Naw, I just
played in the tea the call, so you're dating somebody?
(07:33):
I'd heard she was eighteen when they started dating, and
then earlier today I heard she was nineteen and she's
twenty twenty one now the girl that Shannon Shark was dating. Okay,
so Tony Busby released you know, this part is where
(07:59):
I think the thing that confuses me about the whole
Shannon Sharp thing. And I really didn't want to talk
about it today, but I did want to say this.
This is the thing that and y'all can talk about
if you want to. But the thing that confuses me
about this whole Shannon Sharp situation. Shouldn't you know better?
I cannot believe that Shannon Sharp let them get him
(08:20):
on it, let her get him on a call saying
some stuff like this shouldn't and I'm getting choked, so
I guess we're going.
Speaker 4 (08:33):
I made choke good Bubby Big Black got you Small
White Bubban.
Speaker 1 (08:40):
Now Tony Busby released that, and I'm gonna tell you
something I want to say. You know, maybe it's doctor,
but that sounds like Shannon Sharp. You know what I'm saying.
It sounds like Shannon. And I just I just can't
believe that a man who is as well versed as
(09:03):
he has become with his club shay Sha, you know,
all that stuff that he's doing, didn't think about the
fact that he might be getting recorded on these calls.
I just, I just I don't get it. I mean,
maybe it's me. Maybe maybe it's me Stephen A. Smith
(09:27):
trying to take up for him.
Speaker 5 (09:31):
I certainly root for him. I know he's been through
a lot in life. He's overcome a lot of things,
and when he departed from Fox, I was more than
happy to bring him on board here.
Speaker 1 (09:48):
Steven said, they've been number one when Shannon on his show,
there've been number one, is what he said. I just
I don't know, maybe it's me. I just I'm trying
to figure it all out. But it is so confusing
to me to see because you hate to see it.
You hate to see somebody go you know. Let me
(10:09):
just let me just say this, as a black woman,
I hate to see a black man go through something
like this. I'm just I'm just I'm just being honest.
But when you kind of bring it on yourself, because me,
it's to me, it's like he almost sound like he
brought it on himself. I mean, what's going on, Shannon?
What okay? And and and then I saw this, brother,
(10:34):
y'all tell me if he was wrong. I'm sure y'all
saw this video on social media. Y'all tell me?
Speaker 2 (10:40):
Was he wrong for talking.
Speaker 1 (10:41):
To the parole boy y'all probably don't see it, but
was he wrong for talking to the parole board like this?
Speaker 6 (10:47):
Hey, if you're going to give it to me, give
it to me.
Speaker 4 (10:52):
I'm not like to go back.
Speaker 6 (10:54):
I'm not going to debate with y'all and nothing have
to grant parole.
Speaker 4 (10:58):
Blench men, not gren to me.
Speaker 6 (11:01):
I got five months to go, as simple as that.
Speaker 1 (11:06):
Well, I I you know, mister Edwards, you make it
very difficult to even consider you for parole.
Speaker 6 (11:12):
I'm just I'm just being straight up. If you go
blend it to me, blend to me, you know, if not,
if not, if not, I'll go back and I'm fand
my time.
Speaker 7 (11:23):
Okay, well, why did you not want to cooperate with
the pro office.
Speaker 8 (11:28):
I'm cold.
Speaker 4 (11:29):
I believe that I got caught with a gun.
Speaker 6 (11:32):
I'm guilty of that. Okay, I'm serving my time today.
I never said I didn't have it. I never said
I didn't do it. If you go blame me, parole,
blame me parole. The bleeding I carried a gun. You
want to know, because I've been shut out full.
Speaker 1 (11:47):
Times, the breed and I carried for my protection. That way,
he said he was carrying it for his protection.
Speaker 8 (11:57):
I so.
Speaker 1 (11:59):
Bless us. They did not grant him parole, by the way,
but it made me wonder did he not want to
get out of prison? Did because I thought, when you
go see the parole board, you talk a little?
Speaker 9 (12:12):
Is it me?
Speaker 1 (12:14):
Maybe it's me? Honey. Let's go to these phone lines
and talk to y'all. See what y'all talking about on
this beautiful wednesday.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
Okay, w d I A?
Speaker 1 (12:23):
Hello, thanks me? Hey are you doing miss Irma? I'm good?
Speaker 4 (12:30):
How are you?
Speaker 1 (12:31):
I'm doing good. Okay on never never.
Speaker 10 (12:36):
It's ridiculous Rosenthal or whatever its name was. He didn't
care nothing about to the people of methods, m h
to spend all this money and all the people that
rid the bus have to suffer because of.
Speaker 1 (12:52):
Something he did.
Speaker 11 (12:55):
Mmm.
Speaker 1 (12:57):
So you think it's under his why that things started
to really go awride?
Speaker 9 (13:04):
Yes and so yes, mmm mmmmm okay Starry, all right,
miss Irma.
Speaker 1 (13:13):
He went to he went to Turkey, he went to Sydney.
He was having a time and he just had a
good thing.
Speaker 4 (13:19):
The other pizza they extent.
Speaker 2 (13:21):
M that's a lot of money.
Speaker 1 (13:24):
It's a lot of money.
Speaker 9 (13:24):
Too much.
Speaker 4 (13:25):
Yeah, all right, all.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
Right, thank you. Miss Irma says she's tired of it.
Speaker 1 (13:30):
W D I a hello, Clyde, can't I can't call
it talk to me, Clyde.
Speaker 9 (13:36):
I would see your star if I was talking to
a barrel board.
Speaker 1 (13:41):
Mm hmmm.
Speaker 12 (13:42):
I ain't got for five more years.
Speaker 1 (13:45):
Ago five months, and then it was five months, five months.
He's about to get up out of there.
Speaker 9 (13:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (13:49):
I don't want no parole.
Speaker 9 (13:50):
I don't want a parole.
Speaker 4 (13:51):
That's a that's a that's that's a trick question.
Speaker 13 (13:55):
Serve your five months walk out of there with nothing
hanging over your head.
Speaker 1 (13:59):
But he could have got Clyde.
Speaker 13 (14:02):
But if they get they put you out on parole,
you got them five months hanging over your head.
Speaker 9 (14:06):
You might go out there. You don't tell them what
you're lying to do.
Speaker 4 (14:09):
Now you got to go back.
Speaker 13 (14:10):
Them five months up plus whatever the time they gonna
get you.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
Is that how it works. So if you get out
on the roll, you mess up, you gotta go do
the five months and then.
Speaker 13 (14:19):
Whatever you gotta Whenever you left on the table, you
got to go back and do that plus whatever time
you're gonna get for what you just did. My what
bringing onto the door way, You ain't got nothing hanging
over your head.
Speaker 1 (14:32):
But do you have to go see the parole board?
I mean, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 14 (14:35):
If you know they're gonna stet that the bulls, I
know you got to.
Speaker 4 (14:38):
I ain't nothing locked up. Oh okay, you know I.
Speaker 13 (14:42):
Ain't nothing like that, But bulls, I know you got
to when they when they call for you to come,
it's you know, you go up there and you and
you see it. But I won't even waste my time.
When I get there, I said, look, I don't want it.
I don't want the parole I want.
Speaker 4 (14:54):
I'm gonna I wanna.
Speaker 13 (14:55):
I'm gonna stay my full time so i won't have
nothing hanging over my head.
Speaker 15 (15:00):
I'm gonna bring it all.
Speaker 4 (15:01):
To dough mm hmm. And which and which down the shout.
You know.
Speaker 9 (15:07):
Sometimes you just you got to be careful what you.
Speaker 13 (15:11):
Say, because anybody got recorded out there.
Speaker 1 (15:16):
I'm telling you. That's that's why I'm like, shouldn't he
have known better? You don't think he come. I just
you can't tell me, Shannon, that dull.
Speaker 13 (15:26):
Some people they don't think before they do it, and
then once you do it, it's too late to take
it back because.
Speaker 4 (15:34):
They got your own records.
Speaker 9 (15:36):
M m.
Speaker 4 (15:38):
You can't take the back storm.
Speaker 16 (15:41):
You there.
Speaker 9 (15:42):
You just you just don't record.
Speaker 1 (15:44):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 4 (15:48):
That's it. And if you is this storman this is old.
Speaker 2 (15:54):
Oh that they got some mooked.
Speaker 13 (15:55):
I think they so they cannot roll. They cannot They
got enough fire pile of the row with.
Speaker 4 (16:01):
Them boards though.
Speaker 1 (16:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (16:02):
The thing is number is the number one seedson season.
Speaker 13 (16:05):
But we'll see when it comes down to playoffs, that's.
Speaker 4 (16:09):
When you got to show out.
Speaker 13 (16:10):
The regular season don't count for nothing. Thing was on
top in the regular season, and when it came down
to play all the time, that's when you got to
step the game up.
Speaker 9 (16:21):
There, they can't step the game up.
Speaker 1 (16:22):
Then with a wash up Clyde, you think they choked?
Do you think that when they lost the coach Taylor Jenkins,
that it just just just kind of messed up everything
in and east soul of the new interim coach, you
think he maybe he just not How do you how
you fire the coach just before the playoffs, because because you.
Speaker 4 (16:42):
Know you got to.
Speaker 13 (16:44):
I don't even know what they got rid of the coach.
I mean you might I wasn't let him go up
there in the rest of the season. Now, and he
didn't get rid of up say what you're gonna do.
But but right at the end it didn't.
Speaker 9 (16:57):
Make no sense.
Speaker 13 (16:57):
Though they make Donna say it all right then, I
don't even understand that. But one thing I do know,
they ain't gonna do nothing. They're gonna do like they
any sense laying on high on left.
Speaker 4 (17:10):
There now, that was the coach right there.
Speaker 1 (17:14):
Hmm.
Speaker 13 (17:14):
He took them always all right at the national championship
and he lost, and all he wanted was, uh, this
just his contract back. He ain't ask for no more money.
Speaker 4 (17:25):
They did there wrong. That was the best coach in
the coach.
Speaker 1 (17:29):
We had agree all right, Clyde, thank you so much.
Appreciate you going then okay, I agree?
Speaker 9 (17:35):
W d I A hello, Hey Jammy, how you doing.
Speaker 1 (17:39):
Let's go shout? What's up? You got it? You got it?
You know what?
Speaker 4 (17:45):
What?
Speaker 9 (17:46):
You know what?
Speaker 17 (17:47):
You would be surprised how many wealthy people just do
not have common sense?
Speaker 1 (17:54):
Shunnel Charks.
Speaker 2 (17:56):
I just, I just, I'm miss coach.
Speaker 1 (18:00):
I just can't believe he interviews all these people who
don't have common sense. You you mean tell me the
Shannon Shop. You think he don't have no common sense
none whatsoever?
Speaker 15 (18:12):
You know that these people be recording.
Speaker 17 (18:15):
And then young chick didn't want him, no way, already
setting him up.
Speaker 12 (18:20):
And that's what he gets, exactly.
Speaker 3 (18:22):
What he gets because he shouldn't know.
Speaker 1 (18:25):
Better, he should know better. Yes, he sits on the
couch and on TV with with Steven A. Smith.
Speaker 2 (18:34):
They talk about stuff like this.
Speaker 1 (18:36):
All the time. Come on now, I just I just
can't believe it. I cannot believe the time.
Speaker 9 (18:43):
I'm telling you, you would be surprised. I mean if
people just do not have common.
Speaker 2 (18:47):
Sense or or was he easy?
Speaker 1 (18:52):
You know? Was it?
Speaker 2 (18:53):
Was it pride thinking I'm Shannon shup.
Speaker 17 (18:57):
Oh yes, that too, and that goes right back.
Speaker 9 (19:00):
So you don't have any common sense just because.
Speaker 1 (19:03):
You were chopped.
Speaker 2 (19:06):
Oh my goodness.
Speaker 17 (19:08):
Okay, you have a good evening.
Speaker 1 (19:10):
Okay, thank you, miss coach. You two and your what's
what's her name? See Erra? What is it? Your?
Speaker 2 (19:14):
Your granddaughter?
Speaker 1 (19:16):
Ohriah zo Riah? Happy birthday, Soriah? Did I say it right?
The Zaryah? It's You're very welcome, Miss Kosha. Thank you. Okay,
right bye bye. I'm gonna get to these emails. You
were saying.
Speaker 2 (19:36):
What were you trying to say?
Speaker 11 (19:37):
It?
Speaker 1 (19:37):
Ms kosher nothing nothing, okay, all right, I'm gonna get
to these emails in a second too.
Speaker 2 (19:44):
Let's see here w D I A hello.
Speaker 18 (19:48):
Hello, Hi, hi story.
Speaker 8 (19:51):
How are you?
Speaker 2 (19:51):
I'm very good?
Speaker 1 (19:52):
How are you?
Speaker 18 (19:53):
I'm fine? I want to come in first.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
I have I don't know if I have to ever
talked to you before.
Speaker 4 (19:59):
Who is this?
Speaker 9 (20:00):
You haven't I haven't, Lane, No, you not?
Speaker 1 (20:04):
Are you first time caller?
Speaker 18 (20:06):
First time called? But I listen all the time.
Speaker 9 (20:09):
I think this time I need to come in, come.
Speaker 1 (20:11):
On in here there go, Yeah, welcome, all right, miss
low Raine. Is that what you said, Elane? Elaine okay, yes, okay,
Missy Lane talked to me, Missy Lane.
Speaker 18 (20:24):
Okay, I'm gonna come in and reference to the generalist
in concerated, I retired from the system.
Speaker 9 (20:31):
And most time, most of.
Speaker 18 (20:32):
The time, when they're preparing to go to the throwboard,
they have had a conversation prior to it, and they
offer them a package, they already know if they're going
out on paper, like the gentleman said prior to me, uh,
if they're going out on paper and me, if they're
going out on paper anything, if they violate like you said,
(20:53):
they're going to pick up another charge plus complete the charge.
If they have five months okay, if he uh finished
up whatever time he had to do, five months is
gonna definitely be easy for him. It's better to go
out without paper than to go with paper.
Speaker 2 (21:10):
Mm okay, okay.
Speaker 18 (21:13):
So he may have you know, he may have been
talking uh tough because he he's upset about knowing he
knew what was going to happen to him if he accepted,
you know, the paroles. So you know it's a lot
of things that men go through, you know, when they're
released from jail. Because my thing is that a person
(21:35):
that do his time.
Speaker 2 (21:36):
Should not be here.
Speaker 1 (21:38):
It shouldn't be hanging over.
Speaker 18 (21:39):
His head the rest of his life he's violated or whatever.
I agree, it's more to it than what meets the
eye or that little recording that they did. That's that's
basically for the state, you.
Speaker 1 (21:51):
Know, m yes, ma'am. So they have to show up
to those parole board meetings and.
Speaker 8 (21:57):
You know.
Speaker 18 (21:59):
They can turn down, but when they temp to roll down,
that's a flat that's a denial. So it's automatic that
they you know they're going to do that five five,
five months, and sometimes they do things to make things happen.
They're to keep you there long, so you know, you
have to really watch what you do when you're incarcerated.
Speaker 1 (22:17):
Wow, I hated for people that are in the system
because it's the box you know that that people have
been talking about to you know, let people know if
you've been incarcerated or not.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
I that's still on.
Speaker 1 (22:30):
What is it when you go apply for job applications?
Speaker 18 (22:35):
Oh yeah, when you were on the application, if you
if you if it's not missed, meana time. If it's
selling time and you don't say it's selling time, they
find out you still knock your boos are still knocked off.
So either way it go is against you. And you
would say, you know how they say when you come out,
you got to live somewhere for seven years before you
can get your citizenship back and all of that. That's
that's hard.
Speaker 1 (22:55):
For me, you know.
Speaker 18 (22:56):
And they want to know why do they keep stitting,
Why don't they keep stick killing? Why theause they don't
have anything, don't have anything to fall back on. And
then sometimes if they foundly mad at them, they stay
mad at them. So it's it's no win.
Speaker 17 (23:09):
Win for some men.
Speaker 18 (23:10):
And then everybody that's in concentrated they don't have done time,
was not guilty. They just didn't know how to get
out of it to a good lawyer, right, you know.
Speaker 9 (23:19):
Yeah, it's hard, so I promise you it is.

Sometimes sometimes you can look at the situation and you
can see it one way, and then somebody can help
you see it a different way, you know what I'm saying.
And and where is compassion nowadays? Hey? Have we lost
the ability to have compassion for people?
Speaker 16 (24:04):
You know?
Speaker 1 (24:06):
Are we angry and not compassionate people? We gotta get
it back. And just because, let me say this, just
because we got a man in the White House, they
don't Okay, let me say seemingly that don't give a
dying just because.
Speaker 2 (24:29):

Speaker 1 (34:21):
And now what what should not be an incentive? Should
not be an incentive to not get in trouble? You
know what I'm saying. And I understand some people, some
people trouble might find them, but should not be an
incentive if you gonna get it added back.
Speaker 2 (34:35):
On to to just stay out of trouble.
Speaker 7 (34:38):
Well, Stormy, uh in the words of Mt. You know

Speaker 9 (34:55):
I don't just call in on the.
Speaker 12 (34:57):
Radio, Stormy that some you have compassion too much, just
like some of the young bucks in my family.
Speaker 7 (35:07):
If you help them get out, get their life and
stray and you tell them now be careful, you know,
so this won't happen again, and then you do the
same thing again, Stormy, to me, you're not doing them
don't no justice, just like I one got one out. Nah,
you don't have to do it yourself.
Speaker 12 (35:29):
And your mom there, We're not gonna go there no more.
Speaker 7 (35:34):
Like I said, sometimes that's what's wrong with them.
Speaker 12 (35:38):
We have too much compassion.
Speaker 4 (35:40):
And you know I say it all the time, and
domestic violence.
Speaker 12 (35:44):
I praise Storm it every time.
Speaker 7 (35:46):
I'm like, oh my god, I hope it ain't now
one of them.
Speaker 9 (35:50):
It's one in the family, two foods.
Speaker 4 (35:53):
When you get two.
Speaker 7 (35:53):
Foods together, I'm talking to Storm me. This was literally serious,
and y'all all back together. So you just pray, but.
Speaker 12 (36:06):
Let's start rapping on PD.
Speaker 7 (36:07):
You just say, oh my god, I hope it wasn't.
Speaker 13 (36:09):
On the wan of mine.
Speaker 9 (36:11):
You know, I keep the grill, see.
Speaker 12 (36:13):
Lady, they keep the real I don't call no names.
Speaker 4 (36:15):
But again, don't go in mis sippy.
Speaker 12 (36:18):
You know they no nonsense down there. So that's the
way I should have told you. Go to mesify. So hey,
how much some passion, and Lord knows, if lady be saved,
you will be surprised at.
Speaker 7 (36:35):
How far lady need go for her family because she
love them. But if you don't cut them loose and
then well you don't do it, they get.
Speaker 2 (36:45):
Made Lady d you know I know you slide and
ride for your family.
Speaker 8 (36:50):
You know, I know it.
Speaker 1 (36:51):
You know what I'm saying because you always telling us
you be sliding and ride.
Speaker 11 (36:55):
I know you do.
Speaker 1 (36:56):
And thank you for calling and appreciate you calling on today.
Go back to the phones here, y'all coming on in. Uh,
let's see here, then, she what's happening right here? Let
me let me read this email first. Let's see Chandra
glassper name, She says, Yes, ma'am, that is my sister's name.
Speaker 2 (37:18):
Valveda, like the cheese.
Speaker 1 (37:26):
You should have told me not to read this on
the radio, Valveda because it's the cheese is val Veta.
But well, okay, Valvita. That's actually kind of cute Valveda,
but we call her val for short. I'm thinking, my
beautiful mother ate a lot of cheese. I'm sorry, I'm sorry,
(38:01):
I'm sorry. Oh so unprofessional, bad DJ, she said, thinking
my beautiful mother ate a lot of cheese back in
the sixties. Okay, yeah, all right, let me uh, let
me let me okay, let me go back to the phones.
(38:21):
Bless them, bless the heart my sister. Speaking of names,
and I'm not going to share this because if my
sister's listening. She probably like you better them not my
sister and my brother. When we were kids, we had
a white doctor. My mother had a midwife, and the
mid of course midwife was somebody that we knew and
(38:46):
uh black black woman, but we had, you know, a
doctor where she would take us to the doctor. My
mother's mid doctor back in the day, he changed my
sister's name on her birth certificate and put something on
there that she has had to live with all of
(39:07):
her life. And then he tried to do that to
another one of my uh parents kids, and my daddy
called it, and he told him I do it, do it,
and he didn't. Doctors back in the day were cold
(39:29):
with that kind of stuff.
Speaker 2 (39:30):
This was he was a white doctor.
Speaker 1 (39:32):
He was did my sister dirty? She got to live
with that that name, And I'll never tell a soul
what it is.
Speaker 4 (39:42):
You know, women do give money to men, did you
know that?
Speaker 11 (39:46):
Oh Jackson, Oh jack that's a good woman that tell you.
Speaker 1 (39:54):
You brought it up.
Speaker 2 (39:55):
So I'm gonna tell you a quick story since you
brought it up.
Speaker 1 (39:58):
So when I turned I was a forty five forty six,
I dated a younger guy like Tracy huh.
Speaker 4 (40:09):
He was.
Speaker 1 (40:10):
He was in his thirties, early thirties, somewhere up in there,
and he I couldn't do it. I couldn't about two
weeks to a month. I was out of it. Let
me you know why. One of the reasons. He was
borrowing money for me all the time. But you said
borrow Yeah, he borrowed. I mean he gave it back, right, yeah,
(40:33):
he gave it back.
Speaker 9 (40:35):
Oh okay, what's wrong with that?
Speaker 15 (40:36):
What do you mean?
Speaker 1 (40:37):
What's wrong with that? I mean, don't no woman want
to be dating anybody a man who borrows money from
her all the time.
Speaker 2 (40:47):
Don't know woman wanted. I don't care how old.
Speaker 1 (40:50):
He is, this young. He just happened to be what.
Speaker 4 (40:55):
As long as he was you know? Uh uh later
uh uh uh. That's what women do. That's what the
women do with.
Speaker 9 (41:06):
Anyway, Let me let me get to my.
Speaker 11 (41:10):
Subject, because my means and me as are fans.
Speaker 4 (41:13):
I wanted to hear what I got going on. It
is what it is, uh.
Speaker 1 (41:24):
Names, move it alone? Move along now, okay, move alone.
Speaker 11 (41:30):
I wouldn't name the name little Boosy or Boots.
Speaker 1 (41:34):
Tiller gone Jackson.
Speaker 9 (41:38):
I don't really know what he calls him til boots Bootziller.
Speaker 11 (41:42):
You know he mentioned about Memphis if you uh, it's
weak on crime and all that. But when you go
to you know, the Mississippi or Arkansas, Alabama, they're tough
on crime. But I keep preaching this to people who
said boot zillas, bootsy whatever is this morning.
Speaker 1 (42:10):
Somebody said it on my show a little a few
minutes ago. I don't know who it was, so I
can hear you say, and you didn't do it. You
failed that test one strike. Now you.
Speaker 4 (42:32):
Don't know how to do it. So let me.
Speaker 16 (42:36):
Tell it.
Speaker 4 (42:37):
Let me let me get my point out. Uh, I
keep preaching this.
Speaker 11 (42:43):
People stopped comparing a city to a state. The city
of Messis is not a state. So when you say, yeah,
they can't go to uh, Mississippi that stuff, they can't
go to Arkansas name city.
Speaker 8 (43:05):
Ah.
Speaker 1 (43:06):
So you mean say they can't go to Olive Branch
with that stuff, or they can't go to South Haven
with that stuff, or they can't go.
Speaker 11 (43:13):
To they can't come to Memphis with that stuff. Memphis
is just bigger.
Speaker 4 (43:20):
Up.
Speaker 11 (43:21):
Memphis is just bigger. Memphis is bigger than Atlanta.
Speaker 1 (43:26):
So you wait, wait, let me ask you this. Since
you started saying it. You said, you opened up this door.
So you're telling me that Memphis is tougher on crime
than the than they are in by Helia or Inlia
South Have or Olive Branch.
Speaker 4 (43:50):
It's it's equals, it's equal.
Speaker 1 (43:52):
It's equal. Okay, Wait, So why is it that people
will fly going down three A, the five, but when
they get to Mississippi they slow down.
Speaker 11 (44:06):
You're just saying this again, when they go to Mississippi,
when they.
Speaker 1 (44:09):
Cross, when they go to Olive Branch, they slow down.
Speaker 11 (44:15):
Because Olive Branches small as White aven or smaller. You
can't compare a small city to a metropolis like Memphis
or Minneapolis or Chicago.
Speaker 1 (44:33):
I feel you, I hear you. I got you.
Speaker 11 (44:36):
You could you could break it down. And did did
I hear that little Boosy used to be the the
servant for a lot of entertainers.
Speaker 4 (44:47):
The butler?
Speaker 1 (44:49):
Little Boozy?
Speaker 4 (44:50):
Was he the butler?
Speaker 9 (44:52):
Was he the butler for a lot of people?
Speaker 4 (44:54):
Did you say that?
Speaker 2 (44:55):
I ain't said nothing about no little Boosy?
Speaker 9 (44:59):
Well, the guy who calls in Bootzilla.
Speaker 12 (45:05):
Was all.
Speaker 2 (45:07):
Right, I'm gonna let you go. Okay, it's been a pleasure.
Speaker 1 (45:11):
Talking to you.
Speaker 11 (45:11):
I gotta get my out outro out. Okay, mantrol the outro?
All right, did you is it raining where you are?
Speaker 2 (45:23):
You don't hush you and get your outro out?
Speaker 4 (45:28):
Child?
Speaker 1 (45:29):
All right, day go, day go, day go, and here
I go. Listen, we're gonna come back and talk some more.
Big Casino West Memphis. No, no, uh uh uh, mister West, Frank,
I'm forget for a big Hebrew y'all. Hang on. We'll
be back in a moment. Fred Adden, I heard from you,
and while what's really going on? Okay, let me see.
You got a couple of questions here. One for little Daddy.
(45:53):
It's stormy. Did little Daddy say that he was drinking
goon juice? Wouldn't that make him a good trying to
clarify what's really going on? Well, since he is, and
I don't want to speak for him, but he is
the creator of you know that word and sinkhole and
(46:15):
all that. He's a creator, so I think he is
probably the only person allowed.
Speaker 2 (46:21):
To drink goon juice.
Speaker 1 (46:23):
But hey, I am not I don't want to speak
for him, and that does not make him a goon.
He can drink it and not be a goon. Let
me see mister Forest City pat. He says, hello, Stormy.
When my little brother was in kindergarten, when he went
back to school and after Christmas break, his teacher acts
(46:44):
him what he got for Christmas, and his reply was
some oranges, apples and negro heels.
Speaker 2 (46:51):
He was talking about brazil nuts. Oh, how cute.
Speaker 1 (46:57):
I wanted to ask you guys, you ever you know
when you broke up with somebody, you ever take it bad.
I remember a time I broke up with this guy
I was. I really liked him, and he had borrowed
some of my CDs and I went to his house
(47:18):
and I said, give him back. He came back to me.
But that's about as far as it went for me.
Like that, you know, when I, you know, had to
break up, it's about as far as it went. But
this Florida woman is tripping me out. She posed as
(47:40):
an Immigration enforcement agent, y'all. She I saw the story yesterday.
This chick Latrance Battle is her name. She must have
been in a trance fifty two years old. She's been
arrested and charged. I think she was still in jail
yesterday on a twenty five thousand dollar bun I don't
know if she may be out by now, but honey,
she went and picked up her ex boyfriend's.
Speaker 2 (48:04):

Speaker 1 (48:07):
Police say, Battle went to the victim's place of employment
and identified herself as an ICE agent. Told that woman

girl the Battle opened her shirt and it had ice
on it, and she probably wrote ice on there.
Speaker 2 (48:25):
And the girl went with her.
Speaker 1 (48:26):
She went with her, and she put her in the
backseat of the car and everything what was going on
with miss Latrance. But anyway, she you know, gets the
woman in the car and she hears her using her phone.
Well she snatches her phone because she was trying to
call her you know, husband, because that was Latrence's ex boyfriend,
(48:49):
and snatches the phone, and then you know, she took
the woman to let me see the Bridge Plaza apartments,
and she oad of the Sheriff's office because she didn't
work for no Ice. Anyway, the woman realized she had
been kidnapping me, so she fumed. She took off. She
(49:10):
went to, you know, one of the folks that lived
in the apartment building. She went to their apartment and
so Miss Letrance got scared. She got the woman's phone. Well,
the woman had her phone. She went to they don't
call the police and everything.

said she she tried to she stole my phone, That's
what she said. She did that. She snatched her own phone.

and tries to take off. She's she's going to Georgia
now at any rate. Hunter the police got am. She
was arrested April eleventh, while allegedly fleeing on She was
(49:50):
going to Alabama.

them go, set them free.

Speaker 4 (58:08):
Thank you so much for starting to take my call.
For yesterday.
Speaker 13 (58:12):
I had had a call come in from the hospital
another some moort MRIs they're doing on my chest and
I had to take that call.
Speaker 4 (58:21):
So I'm sorry about that.
Speaker 15 (58:23):
Trying to get me on up there.
Speaker 1 (58:24):
Well real quick.
Speaker 13 (58:25):
I kind of addressed a sister subject uh on this
morning on mister Bell shows. I know he's listening, and
he led him to call and say, yeah, mister Denver,
what do you think about this, mister Denver? And I'm
still waiting mister Big Cahoonah to see if you've done
your homework. Uh, you call you.
Speaker 15 (58:45):
And Little Daddy called this morning crying about his coffee.
Speaker 4 (58:49):
Uh, I hope he got his hot chocolate.
Speaker 9 (58:51):
In his cocoa that sued over his tears.
Speaker 4 (58:54):
But he's crying about the inflation.
Speaker 15 (58:56):
And the prices, and he's upset about this and upset
about that. And I'm still trying to figure out he
actually slided. With the story of mister the boring musician
John Legend viewed with President Trump, and all of a.
Speaker 9 (59:13):
Sudden, Oh, he's a racist.
Speaker 4 (59:14):
He's a racist. He's a racist.
Speaker 13 (59:15):
And I keep asking the question, and yet no one
has called this radio station to verify or to make
sense of it. Because everyone refers to the article that
President Trump took out in the newspaper, and nowhere in
that article.
Speaker 15 (59:30):
Does he even mention the Central Park five.
Speaker 13 (59:33):
And Big Kahunah called this morning line, Yeah, den with
you lie.
Speaker 15 (59:36):
And then calls me a lie but then tells.
Speaker 2 (59:38):
A lie just a food.
Speaker 15 (59:41):
How do you call me a lie with which you
haven't verified, Big Kahunah, because all you have to do
is google the article and read it for yourself. But
I guess you're not man enough to be a man
where you're wrong.
Speaker 13 (59:52):
But anyway, if somebody would please.
Speaker 15 (59:55):
Look at that article and show me what paragraph, what
sentence were fres the Trump saying he wanted those boys
executed or even named them.
Speaker 9 (01:00:05):
He only addressed the crime.
Speaker 1 (01:00:07):
Is that a problem? Crime?
Speaker 15 (01:00:08):
And mythage is through the roof here in Denver, we
don't have.
Speaker 4 (01:00:12):
Any of that.
Speaker 15 (01:00:14):
When we listened to w d I A. It's like, whoa,
this is really going on in the real world because
nobody's dealing with that. Jackson, Love you brother. But when
people say they don't go to Mississippi and do it,
it's because why standing there and name every city in
Mississippi where they won't do it, Well, you can just
say the state of Mississippi. They not playing anyway, Miss
(01:00:36):
Thawmy love you so much, Thank you so much for
taking my call. Shout out to my God Jackson, sweet
Light and King Herrio, King Herio Black Conservative Corporal Como.
Speaker 9 (01:00:47):
Miss Thormy, We love.
Speaker 1 (01:00:48):
You, appreciate you calling in. All right, he's uh stirring
them up any you be stirring them up?
Speaker 4 (01:00:56):
W d I A.
Speaker 9 (01:00:57):
Hello head, tell me how you doing?
Speaker 8 (01:01:02):
Hello?
Speaker 9 (01:01:05):
Hello, I guess, I guess we have a hopral moment.
Speaker 4 (01:01:14):
How about that?
Speaker 15 (01:01:17):
How you doing that, Kohona, I'm doing outsolutely marvelous.
Speaker 9 (01:01:26):
Well, I'm glad you brought me right behind well people.
Speaker 15 (01:01:34):
You know, many of people read the article he did
stated that those kids should be executed.
Speaker 9 (01:01:42):
Now, I don't know what he reads of.
Speaker 13 (01:01:44):
Uh.
Speaker 15 (01:01:44):
I kind of would have to question Kenny read because
it's they're black and white. I mean, how can you
refuse a statement that is there is a documented proof
and you're gonna gets it because of Donald Trump.
Speaker 9 (01:02:02):
It's amazing to me.
Speaker 15 (01:02:04):
Miss taught me that people are still supporting this mad
bad he comes in first hundred days in office. You
don't run the stuck market down the dude taking a
reckon ball to the constitution, shipping people off to concentration camps.
And evidently the people that still support him believe in
(01:02:27):
doing those atrocities to people.
Speaker 9 (01:02:31):
And it's really sad. I mean, you should care for
your fellow man.
Speaker 15 (01:02:36):
It is a sustained as due process. These people would
shift off just because Donald Trump said so makes no
sense to me, Starman. And when it comes to mister Denver,
my question to him is now he done, went through
all of these operations and all that. We prayed that
he got back better, which I want.
Speaker 9 (01:02:57):
Him to continue to have great help. But my question
to him is are you still smoking?
Speaker 15 (01:03:04):
You're smoking Insuran from out to hide or whatever it is,
just after that question, because when it seems it seemed
like you smoking something, with the methods and the reasoning
and what you are saying is absolutely nothing but a locke.
And the place to be is with Stormy Key the

I thought you were in the linen bud. You can't,
you can't.
Speaker 2 (01:07:01):
You can't finish from a dry creek.
Speaker 9 (01:07:06):
I just I can throw my line there.
Speaker 4 (01:07:07):
I just won't catch nothing.
Speaker 1 (01:07:09):
You won't catch a thing. Can't squeeze blood from a turnip,
which reminds me when they came up with that slogan,
it's blood turnip, ain't got no blood in him?
Speaker 9 (01:07:22):
He said, what ain't got no blood in him?
Speaker 1 (01:07:23):
You remember that's the old saying. You can't squeeze blood
from a turnip. Remember, how do you say the back

Speaker 4 (01:07:37):
You quote it right.

Speaker 9 (01:07:45):
Now I didn't have this.

three years?
Speaker 11 (01:08:02):
Every thing come out of his mouth when they come
to Donald Trump. When it comes to Donald Trump, I'll
be so glad when him and Donald Trump can meet,
And when I'm gonna try any way they're possible. I
can hit them meet where they can make so Vick

you see what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (01:09:17):
You might as well go to the All Star game.
Speaker 11 (01:09:21):

And well, I I don't have a solution. I don't,
I don't, I don't, you know, I think we at
first this is what I think. I think we've got
to as the as a citter scenary of this great city,
of the City of Abode, we have got to take
(01:11:18):
responsibility for our actions. I think sometimes we don't. We
don't take people don't take responsibility. And so and we
got to start taking responsibility for these kids because we gotta.
We got a lot of young lives. And it's not
just young boys, even though it's a lot of young
boys that are now in the system that are, you know,
(01:11:40):
doing stuff and being charged as adults that will spend
uh the majority of their adulthood life maybe you know,
depending on how long they stillt them stay in now
you know what I'm saying, Uh, they'll spend a lot
of their life uh being acclimated to prison.
Speaker 14 (01:11:58):
That's good for.
Speaker 1 (01:12:04):
I don't, I don't.
Speaker 2 (01:12:04):
I don't know what the answer is, mister, mister, I
don't know, but let me let me say.
Speaker 14 (01:12:09):
This real quickly strung mean. I hate to say it,
but I'm afraid to go around a black crowd now
of black people. I'm just afraid. I wanted to go
down to the rocking chair with and hang out with
Beb and maybe you, but I'm afraid somebody go get
to shooting and fighting.
Speaker 2 (01:12:28):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 14 (01:12:30):
I'm just nervous.
Speaker 1 (01:12:31):
Yeah, I get it.
Speaker 14 (01:12:33):
Remember, go ahead, I get it.
Speaker 1 (01:12:36):
I get it.
Speaker 14 (01:12:38):
Members wasn't like that when I was growing up back
in the seventies and late sixties and seventies.
Speaker 1 (01:12:45):
Who wasn't like that?
Speaker 9 (01:12:47):
Yeah, but uh, maybe you have me with some solutions.
Speaker 14 (01:12:52):
I mean, I love going around my people, but I'm
just afraid of them now. Maybe you got some solutions
from me, you know what.
Speaker 1 (01:13:00):
And thank you for asking, mister Harrot. I'm gonna have run.
I'm gonna have to let you go, but thank you
so much for calling in. Let me tell you something.
I don't have the solution except for shoot. I do
my best to pray before I go somewhere. And man,
I'm just glad that you know, he's keeping me from
dangers seeing and unseen. I mean, you know what I'm saying, Uh, shoe,
(01:13:21):
He's been mighty good to me. So hey, hey, I'm hey,
I Hey, w D I a Hello.
Speaker 4 (01:13:30):
Stormy, g big he Brew and check it out.
Speaker 9 (01:13:37):
Tommy, let me give you all the word for today.
Speaker 16 (01:13:40):
Hey, I'm just I'm just tripping, but I'm been good
like a Hebrew shure enough simply because doing it.
Speaker 4 (01:13:50):
I'm staying with the truth.
Speaker 9 (01:13:52):
Okay, every time I call it stand.
Speaker 4 (01:13:55):
A bill, I'm gonna start out like that. That's gonna
be my intrue because I'm staying with the truth.
Speaker 16 (01:14:00):
And I would tell everybody stay with the truths Okay,
I mean, and you know we have to stay with
the truth, y'all, especially.
Speaker 4 (01:14:11):
About this book. This bane we all and I'm gonna.
Speaker 9 (01:14:15):
Tell y'all, I feel good like he should because I
know who we are and I.
Speaker 4 (01:14:21):
Know who the ending is.
Speaker 16 (01:14:23):
Okay, they says, and all that getting get you understanding,
because it's about the people. When Christ walked to Earth,
we the Jews in Jerusalem were under Roman captivity.
Speaker 9 (01:14:39):
The Romans are the.
Speaker 4 (01:14:40):
One who hung them on the tree and nail them
to that tree.
Speaker 16 (01:14:44):
The Romans are the one who changed the book and
added paganism. The Romans are the ones a group of
people Rome. They were never conquered, they.
Speaker 4 (01:14:55):
Were just divided. So talk to.
Speaker 12 (01:15:01):
I'm saying those same Romans in.
Speaker 16 (01:15:03):
Our government, the same America is a Roman influence. And
so what Donald Trump is doing and what he has
done and what his job was to do, was to
unite us with Israel. Okay, with Israel over there, the
ones that say their use but are.
Speaker 9 (01:15:22):
Not, but do lie or keep them.
Speaker 4 (01:15:26):
This is what's going on.
Speaker 16 (01:15:28):
The wickedness of this world is what God is doing.
He's showing it, he's revealing it. He's under He's all
the unstrews and all the wickedness that these people have
done to us and to work to this world. They
destroyed the earth. They they are done terrible things to
(01:15:49):
his people. And America is that nation that has done
the most. So America is being jewous. And if we
see they talked about black kill and black and the
term ord that's going on in this country and the UK.
Speaker 4 (01:16:01):
Is going on, and France is going on. It's going
on everywhere.
Speaker 16 (01:16:06):
Our only protection is for us as black people.
Speaker 4 (01:16:11):
I'm talking about Israelife.
Speaker 16 (01:16:13):
It's to come back to what God told us to
do in the book, and that's the Torah. The Torah
is the laws that's been claming.
Speaker 2 (01:16:22):
So what is it telling us to do with Hebrew
because I got to run. What is it telling us
to do?
Speaker 4 (01:16:27):
I'm telling us to repent.
Speaker 16 (01:16:28):
And if we don't understand about that, we are lost
and we don't understand what I mean.
Speaker 4 (01:16:33):
We got to stay with the truth. God.
Speaker 16 (01:16:35):
I can't nick why with something that's evil batch it.
Speaker 1 (01:16:39):
Thank you, Big Hebrew. You know, I was thinking about
that today if so Shinnon Sharp came out and released
basically a video, and I was talking to a friend,
and you know what, they said, he needs to come
out and just get on a video and repent. Doub
what they said.
Speaker 9 (01:16:57):
I said.
Speaker 2 (01:16:57):
I was like, what, I hadn't thought about that.
Speaker 1 (01:17:01):
And he said that right now he needs to yeah,
going and apologize and all that stuff and and and
you know what I'm saying, at least salvage his reputation.
I don't know if that's gonna work or not. But devil,
they said, w D I A hello, stormy, good evening,
miss Anne. I'm doing goodness.
Speaker 9 (01:17:24):

but he's I don't know what's wrong when but I
know he made it throws up when he hit him too.
Speaker 4 (01:18:02):
