Speaker 1 (00:00):
Birthday, Miss Melanie. Yeah, today's birthday, you go girl, So
it's a special day for me. I already called her.
I already called her. I haven't done a social media
post because I don't know these these these new kids
are different. I mean, you know, this the millennial generation.
I don't know what speaks to them louder, you know
what I'm saying, because I don't really think they care
(00:22):
about them posts we'd be making on social media. I'm
just saying that they could, some of them could. But
I think what they care about most is, you know,
the action that you put in. Because anybody can post
anything on social media, you know what I'm saying. People
post stuff on social media line all the time. But
if you pick up the phone or make a trip
(00:44):
or send them a little gift or something like that,
it makes the difference. Yeah. I think it's our generation.
I think it's the uh what we are we the
exces child one of them, uh and then the baby boomers.
I think that we put more stock in social media
post than you know that generation does. I ask one time,
(01:07):
I asked him, I said, Hey, what's up with you
know with posts on social media? Do y'all take that
kind of stuff. Seriously. They told me no. But let
me tell you something. It ain't gonna stop me. Mm
hmmm mm hmmm mm hmm. Didn't stop me from posting
a picture of my son saying congratulations to them. Uh
(01:30):
when he got it, when he graduated over the weekend.
I asked him to. I said, send me a picture.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:39):
But yeah, I think I don't think they put as
much stock in it as we do the millennial kids.
They won't see action.
Speaker 3 (01:46):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
They tied it at all at talking. They want you
to put some action behind your words and perhaps a
little cash, you know what I say to them, We'd
like to get a little bit of that too. Y'all.
Stop putting them words on us, give us get hey,
put some actions. Mind you're talking too, put up a
shut up eye. It is good for the goose. It's
(02:09):
good for them. Y'all repeated it. Y'all know what I'm
talking about. Yeah, So anyway, did y'all see? Okay, So
I wasn't ready for this, but I saw the news
and I'm I'm tripping not that glow Rilla has announced
her first glow Bash concert in Memphis. Even though I
(02:35):
might have to go Felicia. You going with me, Miss Ramburg.
You're going with me, girl, We're going to see big glow.
Not that that's that's nothing. No, not that. When I
saw the young girl in her mugshot a semi smirk
on her face. If you don't shoot at my wheell
(02:57):
the tom Lee Park shooter, it was a girl, a girl.
I I was talking to a friend of mine and
he said to me, you know, when women start to
do things that men do, we are headed to Our
(03:21):
culture is headed to a bad place because it used
to be. You know, you wasn't scared of women. You
know what I'm saying. You weren't. When you saw a
bunch of women, you were You know what I'm saying,
You weren't. You weren't scared. But now this girl got
this was a girl. They arrested her. That incident happened
during that local food truck festival. Y'all remember that food
(03:44):
truck festival. They didn't have no security, but the police
were outside anyway. But yeah, Lottle tori Anna Lindsay also
known as te to p. She's been arrested and she's
facing charges first the greed murder. I'm not sure how
(04:04):
old she is? Eighteen, she's eighteen, she's in custody. This
baby don't ruined her life. That baby unruined her life.
I'm just I just didn't expect when they found who
(04:25):
it was, I did not expect it to be a girl,
a young black girl. I didn't expect that. Now, that
one shocked me. I had shocked me. It shocked me,
It really did. Yeah, and you know she's gonna be
(04:45):
charged as an adult because she's eighteen. Yeah, I saw
it to where the state has rested its case. In
the murder trial for the ex officers accused in Tyree
Nichols's death. Yeah, the defense presented a witness who had
her wallet stolen from her car in October twenty twenty
(05:06):
two months before Nichols was beaten. She claimed her credit
cards were used at multiple gas stations without a permission.
She was then dismissed, and you know, they called a
lot of other folks. That a lot of the information
that's come out of these last three days, it's been
a lot of information. It's a lot to break down.
(05:26):
Tyree Nichols's mother, she was on the witness stand on
the first day, and then Desmond Mills on yesterday, and
how y'all think that one's gonna go? How do you
think that that trial is going to go? You think
they're gonna get off? You think they're going to because
I well you probably saw the news, and I'm curious
(05:53):
what you guys think about it. Well, the NFL they
find the Falcons two hundred and fifty thousand dollars, and
they also find the defensive coordinator of the Falcons as well,
jeff Yulebridge, one hundred thousand dollars, after his son prank
(06:14):
called Shador Sanders during the draft. He not only prank
called him, but he had the nerve to post it
on social media.
Speaker 4 (06:24):
It is.
Speaker 1 (06:27):
So there was a press conference. Falcons defensive coordinator held
that press conference. I believe this was today.
Speaker 5 (06:35):
First of all, I wanted to publicly apologize to Shoulder
and Sators. Second of all, I want to publicly apologize
to mister Blane, Terry Fautinhamry.
Speaker 6 (06:47):
Morris, the entire Falcons organization. My actions, my actions i'm
not protecting confidential data, were excuseable. My son's actions were
absolutely excusable, and for that we're both to'd be sorry.
The NFL has taken action and I fully respect the punishment.
Speaker 5 (07:10):
We take full responsibility my son, myself, and we will
not be appealing to find in any way.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
Y'all think his son got a whooping? Ay, I think
you got a whooping? And you think he whooped him?
Speaker 7 (07:23):
Man?
Speaker 1 (07:23):
That that that young man? And you know, I still say,
where is the Where is the white kid that made
the call, that was doing all the talking in the video?
How come he hasn't said anything? Nobody's said anything about him?
He was in the video too. There were three people
in that room when that kid made that video. There
(07:45):
were three. There was the person holding the camera, there
was his son, Jeff's son, and then there was the
white kid doing all the talking. Where them kids at?
Are they going to take responsibility for that?
Speaker 8 (08:01):
Hum?
Speaker 1 (08:04):
So yesterday we were talking yesterday about you know, the
kids and you know the stuff that these kids be
doing at school, Joe, it ain't just a kid's did
y'all see this one out of Florida? An assistant principal
(08:24):
at a middle school in Florida was arrested after she
allegedly forced a student to massage her feet. Yep, and
she was saying inappropriate things to the kid too. According
to the Polk County Sheriff's Department and the office doctor
(08:44):
kiv Alark, who's fifty three, she's been charged with lud
lascivious conduct and lude offense against a student by an
authority figure. Okay, so the investigation began on April the fourth,
after the head principal of the Lake Marion Creek Middle
School reported the incident to police. Deputy say the thirteen
(09:08):
year old student was sent to Lark's office for throwing
balls of paper across a classroom during a test. Witnesses
heard Lark scolding the boy, but not uh you know,
rubbing her feet correctly, for not rubbing her feet, not
for the paper. She said, since she ain't got nothing
(09:34):
better to do, you rubbed my feet, took off her shoes,
placed her legs across the boy's lap, and he did
as he was told. Uh uh m. Now she was arrested,
(09:54):
and I just told you the charges. But I don't
know if that all she should have. You know what
I'm saying. Maybe it's just me either that sounded a
little like child abuse or something, you know, because because
come on, now, I saw on social media where somebody
was talking about these women are after these young boys
(10:18):
and what they was talking about on social media? Said,
We've talked about the men and these young girls all
the time, but we don't talk about the women this
after these young boys. But why would you do that?
As an assistant principle, the sheriff said. The lark admitted
that our actions were inappropriate, but she denied saying anything
inappropriate to that student, even though people said they heard
(10:44):
her saying those things. What y'all think about that? WD?
I a listeners. If it ain't one thing, it's something else.
Then when I get to these phones, I got a
question for you. Okay, this person, this woman, She says,
(11:08):
my husband is so cheap that he shops at Walmart
for everything. Now, I don't know if I consider that
a bad thing, but anyway, she says, clothes, shoes, groceries.
But don't a lot of people do that? Maybe I'm wrong. Anyway,
she says he washes paper, cups and plates. He's been
(11:32):
driving the same car since high school and he's forty.
It's a Mustang.
Speaker 9 (11:40):
Hm.
Speaker 1 (11:40):
I wonder how old she is. I wish she had
told her age. Anyway, she didn't. He gets a haircut
every two months, he had five pair of jeans, some wranglers,
and had two pair of shoes. She even got my
wedding ring from Walmart. I don't think my diamonds are
real or real rather, it's what she says. Then she says,
(12:00):
for our tenth anniversary, we went to Logan's roadhouse. What's
so wrong with that? I mean, I don't know. Anyway,
he won't even pay to get my hair and nails done.
He says, it's a want and not a need. At
this point, she says she's over it. How is it
that she's dating? This is what she said? How is it?
(12:23):
Or she's asking people? How is it dating cheap men?
Or dating a cheap man? I want out. I'm tired
of this, she says. Also, I think if I got
a divorce, he wouldn't even care. Now see, I thought
this was gonna be worse than that. I don't know
if I'm sister. I want to be with you, but
(12:46):
I don't know. I don't know about that. And y'all
hit me up, y'all know what to do? Nine o

Hello telling when they are how you doing? By the way, Hey,
(13:07):
I'm forgetting what are you doing?
Speaker 3 (13:10):
I'm doing right, I'm trying to get past on the top.
Speaker 10 (13:12):
But look at your UH. When they find him in
the NFL? Where had money go?
Speaker 1 (13:20):
You know what? I don't know?
Speaker 10 (13:22):
Why can't they go to Deon Signday? You know the situation?
Why can't they go to them? See that's what I
have a problem with. You know the NFL. They do
all this styn and stuff, But the people that's involved
with like de On Signday and other times, why can't
that money all.
Speaker 3 (13:38):
Go to them?
Speaker 1 (13:40):
That's a good question.
Speaker 10 (13:42):
You know, that's a problem with them. And then find
the coach, I mean the coach. All of that money
should go to the Deon signer Synday. You know what
I'm saying. That's the situation that I have.
Speaker 3 (13:57):
I don't think it's right. And dealing with the UH
showed it?
Speaker 11 (14:03):
What's this?
Speaker 10 (14:03):
What's the young man name?
Speaker 3 (14:04):
Got choked up.
Speaker 1 (14:07):
That died and say that again.
Speaker 3 (14:11):
I'm gonna the one, the one that died another So the.
Speaker 1 (14:17):
Uh Derek shoving the police officer you're talking about.
Speaker 12 (14:20):
George Floyd died GEORGEO Yeah, George floor.
Speaker 10 (14:26):
You know what something I look at.
Speaker 3 (14:28):
This is kind of look different because that situation.
Speaker 10 (14:32):
Went down the way it went down. You know, you
can't do two wrongs and make it right. But dealing
with the situation was and meshis they want to get out.
Y'all don't see it yet.
Speaker 1 (14:43):
So you think that the people that kill those police
officers that killed Tyree Nichols, you think they're gonna get off,
They gonna.
Speaker 3 (14:51):
Get a lesson term And it hasn't looked like.
Speaker 10 (14:53):
Getting off to me. Starting that's what's going to happen.
So y'all don't be shocked and don't stop burning things
down like.
Speaker 3 (15:02):
Them people from them so that did them.
Speaker 10 (15:04):
Nothing is up there, But that's what's gonna go down
to me. Mock my word on that.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
So you're trying to tell me that if they do
get off, the people can't be angry about it.
Speaker 10 (15:16):
Not that just sureing propaty and tearing down the city.
Speaker 1 (15:20):
Well I'm not talking about that. Yeah, you I agree
with you on that, but there gonna be some if
they do, there's gonna be some angry people. Let me
just tell you that I'm.
Speaker 10 (15:29):
Angry already, you know, but I ain't out there telling
you it's a sure thing and not sall the lost
on them.
Speaker 1 (15:37):
It's come on now.
Speaker 10 (15:40):
And the young man with the Walmart situation, I see
ways man said it for me. People trying to save
his song, his money. So you know the young lady
problem with that, you know, just move on and sid
someone else.
Speaker 1 (15:57):
I think she's young. I think she's young because I
don't know if I see a whole lot wrong with
some of the stuff that she said. I think she
she really want to she really want to ball out.
She wants somebody who who wants to spend a lot
of money on her. And that's the complaint. A lot
of the young kids have young young men. You know
that a lot of the girls they don't want to
(16:17):
go to they want to go to, They don't want
to go to, you know, certain restaurants. They want you
to take them to the expensive restaurants.
Speaker 10 (16:25):
It want to be good, Mariah, mmmmm, you know maybe
once or twice in your you're marriage or whatever.
Speaker 3 (16:33):
It's cool.
Speaker 10 (16:34):
Come on, baby girl, you got to grow first before
you're getting out there. You know what I'm saying. That's
the way the husbands treated white man.
Speaker 1 (16:45):
Yeah, but I don't know about I don't know about
washing paper cups and plates. That's that don't sound too sanitary.
I'm forgetful, but I hear you.
Speaker 10 (16:55):
I agree with joining up washing paper plates that come. Ain't
nothing wrong boying him and use him and sposed there.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
Of course, of course I got you.
Speaker 10 (17:06):
Who was that last one? Storm?
Speaker 1 (17:09):
That was it? You just you just talked about it.
You just you that was it?
Speaker 12 (17:14):

that young man. See I always said, by what you need,
now what you want? See that young man that he's
not gonna never be scuffling their life.
Speaker 10 (17:43):
You know what I'm saying, He's not.
Speaker 1 (17:45):
He's gonna be he living.
Speaker 8 (17:47):
He live in a good life Storm because he's not
material type person, the normal. His bank accounts gonna be nice.
He ain't gonna be struggling. See, some had got to
run the money because listen, let her storm. See she
she'll she'll be she'll be from paycheck to paycheck. Now
(18:10):
she talking about him getting her hair picked and she
got a job.
Speaker 3 (18:13):
She get all hair and nails.
Speaker 1 (18:14):
Did this man?
Speaker 3 (18:16):
They're looking out for the future. She ain't never say
how they were living.
Speaker 8 (18:22):
She said, well, they struggling, you know what I'm saying.
Uh uh one part of town they were living.
Speaker 10 (18:29):
Nothing like that.
Speaker 1 (18:30):
Now she didn't. She didn't say a lot about that.
Speaker 13 (18:32):
And I.
Speaker 3 (18:34):
Because they're not struggling.
Speaker 8 (18:36):
And they're not struggling because for him, uh, everybody, see
you you'll have one that will blow the money.
Speaker 1 (18:48):
This guy, he ain't gonna blow the money.
Speaker 8 (18:51):
They got.
Speaker 3 (18:52):
Uh.
Speaker 8 (18:52):
She put all on to him.
Speaker 14 (18:53):

Speaker 8 (18:54):
And she leaving, she's gonna miss him that storm. You
know what, I wish we had some of these teachers
like they got in school. Now, boy, I did just
see me rubbing the teachers speaking. She talking dirty.
Speaker 1 (19:08):
Too, byclide, you don't get some of these folks in trouble.
That woman ain't got no business having that kid rub
her feet at that school and talking talking like you

Speaker 3 (19:23):

Speaker 9 (19:51):
You know?
Speaker 3 (19:51):
I mean, okay, what Stormy?
Speaker 8 (19:53):
Uh?
Speaker 9 (19:54):
Now what Lady D said today? I grew a lot
with her.
Speaker 1 (19:58):
Okay. The only thing A lot of.
Speaker 9 (20:00):
This crime has gone up in the city because these
females don't pick the right men. They like thugs, but
whippers and criminals. These are the ones they picked because
they pick off emotion instead of logic.
Speaker 1 (20:14):
Okay.
Speaker 9 (20:15):
And it goes is a domino thing. It goes back
to the upper generations that they are not guided in.
It's not the police job or the school's job to
contain out kill these But everybody say, you like to
see J Davis some about dig children. A lot of
these parents want because a lot of females don't need
to be mamas because they're toxic. They have post traumatic
(20:37):
U traumatic bonds with their great grandmas and grandmomas and everything.
And they passing down two dogs and sons because the
daddy is not all around the black community because the
daddy is in jail, or the daddy's a third or
the daddy shooting up people, and it goes hell goes
back to the females. Now on the other thing, partaking
(20:58):
you want to take another thing now about Shadull Sanders,
I think that it's it's not right. It was an
avid of racism because he had his dadd to see it.
Then Sanders as his agent, and the NFL had a
problem about that. What's wrong with me? How my dad
is my agent?
Speaker 3 (21:17):
The problem is, But it's okay.
Speaker 9 (21:19):
They lose out on a good town. Now Shallow, Santa's
got got hired, should have two.
Speaker 1 (21:26):
But he did. Chador was drafted, he's going through the Browns.
And Shiloh Shiloh wasn't drafted. He but he did sign
with the Tampa Bay Oh.
Speaker 9 (21:38):
They finally okay, obviously in between town. In the meantime,
obviously they had brought addressed this to the fore of
the NFL for them along with their dad with the
Shallow and Santa Chadua with their dad to address the
situations before they got you.
Speaker 8 (21:54):
So I'm glad that's addressed.
Speaker 9 (21:55):
Okay, And I'm gonna tell you, I don't man the
woman to get our hair done. I'm a man paying
for my woman now getting out hair done. If she
loved me, bashed on, I love your girlfriend, just to

Speaker 11 (22:56):
They love me, and they they my plan.
Speaker 7 (23:00):

And they say overall, however, the prices consumers paid for
(26:20):
their groceries in April are still higher than earlier in
the year. What y'all think about time? M But they
do say the prices, the prices have fallen. Hm hm,
all right, we're gonna come back and we're gonna talk
some more. Lady d Prince Charles and others, y'all hold
on nine on one five three, five, nine three four
(26:40):
two eight hundred five zero three ninety three four two
eight three three five three five nine three four two
those are the numbers to get at knee Stormy t

your emails too when I come back, and you can

(27:01):
and yes, you two mm hmm, y'all using that talk
back feature. Let me see listen to this message here,
Storm and Tea.
Speaker 9 (27:11):
Who did you expect to shoot the little boy downtown
the boogey man?
Speaker 1 (27:16):
I don't know if I expected the boogeyman to shoot him,
but I didn't expect it was gonna be a girl.
I mean, I don't know. Is it just me? Is
it just me? I did not expect that? Is it
just me? Am I wrong for thinking that? If you
know that, I didn't expect that it was gonna be
a young girl. I did not expect that. I didn't
(27:37):
expect it. I saw yesterday and y'all probably saw the
news two of the fight on the Carnival Cruise Line,
and I went back. I felt like I was going
back to the old school days because I'm gonna tell
you what I did. I saw that because I didn't
see no video or nothing. I saw it. I think
it was on the Yahoo news or somewhere.
Speaker 7 (27:56):
Child.
Speaker 1 (27:57):
I said, ooh, please don't let him be black. Please
don't let him be black. Please don't let them be black.
And then I saw the video. I couldn't believe it. Baby,
that was wearing each other out and it was there
was black. Oh lod, Oh my goodness. Twenty four people
(28:19):
are banned from soh my goodness, from Carnival Cruise, Big
Old Fight too. Let me go to the emails here.
Mister Burke says, how are you storming tea? You were
showing out with that music today. I said, I came
(28:40):
to do I came to work to show out with
this music. I ain't playing with its.
Speaker 15 (28:44):
Coach.
Speaker 1 (28:44):
She says, Hey, Stormy, happy birthday to your baby girl.
Hope she enjoys her day and many more. Thank you.
I'll let her know you said that. Clyde says, Stormy,
that sounds sexy. Rubbing your feet and you're talking dirty
to me. Claud you were, miss mister Burton said, as
cheap man, Stormy, there's a thin line between being responsibly
(29:06):
frugal and cheap and her Man is the poster child
for cheap o's there is nothing with enjoying the fruits
of your labor. Sometimes, if he's that cheap, he better
have at least six figures saved up, stormytail. Let's see, stormy,
(29:27):
Donald Trump is doing what he said he's going to do.
Prices are slowly coming down, and he's getting rid of
government waste, wasteful spending. Just sit back and let him cook.
Is that what he's doing cooking? WD? I A hello,
number one?
Speaker 10 (29:45):
How are you doing?
Speaker 3 (29:47):
One?
Speaker 1 (29:47):
What's up? Number one? I'm doing good.
Speaker 10 (29:50):
He's sound it wonderful as well as happy birthday to you.
Speaker 1 (29:54):
Oh, thank you, thank you. I'll let her know you
said that. Thank you, thank.
Speaker 10 (29:57):
You, thank you, your college you lived. And so before
I get started, I want live daddy to know I
would personally go out and buy him. I can of
call me just to keep him at day.
Speaker 8 (30:09):
My ridiness.
Speaker 10 (30:10):
And I'm not and I'm not, you know, throwing this
down because things are I was just at the grocery
store two days ago, grocer and I was like, you know,
everything that's skyrocket now. People are saying that things are
going down. My wallet said the opposite. Just the other
day for him. I was all one of my favorite
psyche ordering some items, and at the end of the
(30:32):
items came out to be like three hundred drid fifty dollars.
Speaker 1 (30:35):
So well, you said, it came out to be like,
what three hundred and fifty dollars, three.
Speaker 10 (30:40):
Hundred and fifty dollars A days I was ordering on
the line. So at the end of the total they're
talking about, the total was for everything, how much chipping
had read up to seven hundred dollars.
Speaker 1 (30:53):
Wait a minute, Wait a minute, Wait a minute. Where
were you buying it from China?
Speaker 11 (30:59):
Yeah?
Speaker 10 (31:00):
Every we ken't anything in America. No, so, and I'm
looking like wimen I must have made a mistake and
clicked two minute items, went back, redid it again, same thing.
I said, no, this cannot be right, get it a
third time. Came out the dog and at the bottom.
I didn't want always to the bottom, but I did.
And this was the cause of that uh in caraff
(31:21):
that was imposed on channel. They doubled the price. I said,
I won't be ordering this, not today. I won't.
Speaker 16 (31:28):
That's right.
Speaker 10 (31:30):
So the therapist is a really really it's true. It's
it's it's affected my pocket and affected yours. If you
like to order a lot of things off live. So
it's the real deal of Storming and Storman. Let me
say this the young man, the lady who sent you
the email concerning her husband and she. Normally I would
(31:51):
take up for the guys, but Stormy shoots out a
little right. He should be able to slurge on his life.
That's a different twe a girlfriends and a wife.
Speaker 11 (32:00):
This dude, that's your wife.
Speaker 10 (32:03):
She's not asking for much so yet if she want
to get our hair done in this case, because this
is your wife. Now, I always sayd up dating at
the Difference Innario. But if my wife said, Prince, I
want to get my name, I want I want to
look pretty for you this week, did I would say,
here you go. I'm not gonna even ask her how
much do you need here? As the credit card walk
(32:23):
screws on yourself because when you come back, you better
be looking good because I'm gonna be massaging those feet
as well.
Speaker 1 (32:31):
Wow.
Speaker 13 (32:32):
But but I'm serious.
Speaker 10 (32:34):
But he should she she should have a she should
have a come to Jesus meeting with this guy and
say why not, why you not disclurgeon on me? I
want to get I want to look good for you
because that's what she's doing. Any and everything that she's
doing says she's his wife. She should not have a
problem in taking care of her needs when it comes
to that. Now, like I said, girl friend is a
different scenario, but the wife, she gets it.
Speaker 7 (32:55):
All the prince child.
Speaker 1 (32:58):
I'm gonna ask you a quick quotquestion because everybody's been
talking about it on social media, and I wonder if
you've heard it. This gorilla Okay, it's a silly question.
The gorilla fighting one hundred men. It's a big talk
on social media. So they've been asking who could who
could win against a gorilla fighting one hundred men? Who's
gonna be on your team? And who who out of
(33:20):
the w D I A callers, will be on your team?
If you had to fight a gorilla, God.
Speaker 10 (33:27):
You know I could take the whole take the whole group.
We would never survive at gorilla nobody. And I did
see that video on the people Carnible, and I said
to myself, I love Carnival, I mean sell what Cunnible.
I couldn't and I said the same thing, please don't
be black. And it wasn't nothing right, but they can
(33:48):
But they can never go Onnible again. They can never
do not never again. They can get on the carnivalship
and if they don't watch it, the other cruise line band.
Speaker 1 (33:57):
All right, I couldn't believe.
Speaker 10 (34:04):
Come on, wait to tell its gonna be okay, But no,
the Gorella's gonna win every time.
Speaker 1 (34:13):
You're just not gonna win, all right, Prince Charles, thank you,
thank you, all right, bye bye, Oh my goodness. So
who can win? Let me see, they said, will Smith
with his wife's name in his mouth, with his wife's
name in your mouth? A mob of Eagles fans. Solange
(34:33):
I slush like I'm dagging in it? W d I A.
Speaker 17 (34:37):
Hello, Hello, hello, se.
Speaker 1 (34:43):
Hey lady, d how you doing?
Speaker 13 (34:46):
Oh?
Speaker 12 (34:47):
I'm going alright, hon, I'm seeing somebody didn't make it
with me.
Speaker 1 (34:53):
I know that's right.
Speaker 12 (34:58):
God, the gotcha real friends. All shot do is to
be patient.
Speaker 1 (35:04):
You know that's his wife. That's his wife, not his girlfriend'.
They've been married for ten years.
Speaker 12 (35:10):
But that ain't not his wife and he comployed. Your
husband is not not gonna make you just shout the Walmart?
Who dares do? It's all right to get some things
from Walmart.
Speaker 1 (35:26):
I believe some people do, Lady d because some people
can't afford a lot of these big name, big big
box and big name stores. You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 12 (35:34):
You must say, went to Walmart, lady baby. These stores now, yeah,
you know you used to go from one end of
town to the other one. You waste your time because
when you get to the other hand of the town,
wife is in same. It's the same. Walmart used to
be cheap unless you're going in there get so tis
(35:57):
you you.
Speaker 1 (35:58):
Talk about clothes?
Speaker 12 (36:00):
What is to show the Walmart costing forty of fifty
dollars for you must take me a Waldmard, Lady john Man,
they got clothing now costs forty and fifty dollars trying
for one hour feat I'm like, okay, Walmar. And another
reason I think you shouldn't be wearing Walmar clothes because
(36:24):
you don't want to see everybody you look around.
Speaker 13 (36:28):
I'm my good she got over our fire.
Speaker 12 (36:30):
It's certain stores you don't go in because you go
see you outfit back till the fifteen times and staring
them with the uh retarded teacher because.
Speaker 1 (36:42):
You got to be retarded from up.
Speaker 12 (36:47):
Then I stood up, bed in the way of the
bed Johnson, grown people means her children. She got a
child rub in her seat because he was throwing paper.
Just leftily eat your nukeley Eve and again for him.
You're gonna always see it. I'm against the storming a
(37:08):
man because of what you're gonna do to the woman. See,
it ain't equal. I tell my boys, I said, look,
this is not equal. And then as I called the Stella,
you know I got a Stella in my family. Instead
of Stella trying to get her groove back, Stella going
so far as to I'm like, huhah. And then wonder
(37:32):
why you got to pull up to MacDonald's in order
three Happy New Year and round quarter pounder because you
went and you should fade in your life, Stella. I
know you can try to get your groove back, but
it ain't working now. And then when the young people
don't want you no more, you go to clown and say,
(37:53):
you know on the front ing that that was just
a temporary situation. So all the old as they called itself, cougars.
Now I'm talking about you. If you got somebody that'll
want you, but cougars, stop trying to take your name
and control them. It costs. At the end of the day,
(38:15):
you cannot control the child, and you signed up for
a child. Then they go, I want you to act
like a man. You should have signed up for a man, baby.
You don't sign up for no man. So bell witted
and throwing it with the children. I'm gonna sell again,
you know her say Cammermain love you, but if I
(38:38):
would have to write a book. I'm from the streets,
common man. I know all the games, all the treats,
and when I saw it in my house, I dept witted. Commamin.
When you see the first sign, don't just ignore them.
You go in there and you grab them and you're
knocking out and tell him this it's gonna happen again.
(39:01):
If you scared of children in the street, if you
are scared of a book somewhere with that picture and
look you your childred? And do she said you your childred?
Stop making excuses. They want you. They don't want you
to kill them, but they want you to knock a
(39:22):
mouse so they won't have to take them out.
Speaker 1 (39:24):
I got your lady j all right, yeah, get your kids.
And for some people maybe that's easier said than done.
But come on now, I mean, come on now, and
is it a lack of spanking these kids or is
it something else we missing out on? Because I saw
(39:45):
where Michelle Obama said that she stops spanking her daughters,
Malia and Sasha Obama because it made her feel embarrassed.
That's what she said, made her feel embarrassed, felt silly.
I just wasn't who I, you know, wanted to be
as a parent. So she went a different route. She's
(40:07):
making of kids. I guess, well, she stops making of kids.
But maybe they're using something else. And maybe there are
some I don't know, some new techniques that we need
to do, but some gotta give around here, w d I.
Speaker 4 (40:22):
A hello, Hello, hey there, hello, hey hey, how you
doing them?
Speaker 1 (40:29):
I'm good? What's up? Is this? Big consito?
Speaker 9 (40:33):
Them?
Speaker 14 (40:33):
The one?
Speaker 17 (40:33):
And on me?
Speaker 1 (40:35):
What's up? Big Consito? How you doing? I'm doing great,
DoD how are you? I'm doing good? Doing good?
Speaker 3 (40:42):
I know this like nia one thing, I'm gonna letting
people know.
Speaker 4 (40:45):
It's a bad, bad accident on third people, I mean
it's bad. If you're going that way, you need to
try to make another route.
Speaker 1 (40:56):
Okay, that's the first.
Speaker 4 (40:58):
Yeah, And Robert really called and you know, just I
hadn't talked to you in a minute, just to see
how you're doing well.
Speaker 1 (41:04):
I'm doing good, Thank you, Big Casino. I'm doing pretty good.
How you doing? You rolling in that bet today?
Speaker 9 (41:11):
No, I'm over here.
Speaker 4 (41:12):
Give me some Michael Molly, I ain't rolling into best today.
Speaker 1 (41:14):
Okay, come over here.
Speaker 4 (41:15):
Yeah, yeah, I'm just messing around today, just riding around.
Speaker 10 (41:19):
H If you asked me the same thing you have,
spirit child?
Speaker 18 (41:24):
How many men you say?
Speaker 1 (41:28):
It's a running jogging on social media about the gorilla?
How many?
Speaker 11 (41:32):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (41:33):
How many? And if you were if you were gonna
fight one, you know who I guess you know would
be on your team. But that's just kind of a
running joke on social media. Who you gonna take with you?
Who you got?
Speaker 10 (41:45):
No, I wouldn't.
Speaker 8 (41:46):
I wouldn't have to have a hundred.
Speaker 4 (41:48):
I mean I wouldn't have to have a hundred.
Speaker 7 (41:49):
I just okay.
Speaker 4 (41:51):
On the way, listen, I get about five or six
and let them talking to death.
Speaker 1 (41:55):
What wait a minute, I because saying uh uh.
Speaker 9 (42:02):
Come much?
Speaker 1 (42:05):
What always shopping? When he called in this radio listen
ven shopping.
Speaker 7 (42:11):
Much?
Speaker 1 (42:14):
See by Big Casino?
Speaker 10 (42:16):
Bye?
Speaker 1 (42:20):
That may I always be shopping h anyway, thank y'all
for hit me up. Nine one, five, three, five, nine
three four two eight hundred and five zero three nine
three four two eight three three five three five nine
three four to two. Still taking your calls, Stormy TA
at my w DI I a dot com. I'll go
back to your emails coming up. And if you want
to tap that iHeartRadio app, you can do that too.
(42:42):
Hang on, lady, p you out the gate. A good
day for the kids over at Northeast Prep Academy and
they had a special guest today. Superintendent Roderick Richmond had
Ricky Smiley over there today talking to these kids about
the choices that make and you have to stand up
(43:02):
when you meet somebody, you have to stand up. He
let me tell you something. A lot of time, stuff
like that decide whether somebody.
Speaker 3 (43:08):
Gonna hire you or not.
Speaker 8 (43:10):
Mmm.
Speaker 14 (43:10):
You got to have some manners and some etiquette to
make sure you know who you hanging with and know
what they are into and make sure that you.
Speaker 12 (43:19):
With daily.
Speaker 1 (43:20):
You know, I'm telling that needs to be a class.
Body used to talk about it a lot of time.
These kids need to learn that kind of stuff at
school every day. Needs to be a class. That's what
they're missing out on. They're missing out on that kind
of Stuff'm drunk to tell you. So I did see
too where Fox thirteen said happening right now. Former Memphis
police officer Preston hemp Phille, who responded to the original
(43:43):
traffic stop of Tyree Nichols, is taking the stand for
the defense. Yeah that's the white officer that was on
the scene. And yeah, a lot of folks saying he
should have been charged like the rest of those officers,
and a lot of us wondering why he wasn't. Hmm anyway, child,
So he's on the state right about.
Speaker 8 (44:00):
Now.
Speaker 1 (44:00):
Let me go to your emails. Then we're gonna get
to these phones because Lady pe got some things to
talk about. Yesterday. I didn't give a chance to read
all of your emails, so I will tell you. Miss
Jackie emailed me yesterday. She said, Hey, Stormy, love hearing you.
And Jackson the hey, hey, hey, his own point in
a whirld full of turmoil. WDA brings me joy. Oh,
Jackson is Larry of the Three Stooges. A. Jennifer emailed
(44:26):
me yesterday too, She said, Stormy, Jennifer again, I wanted
to know if Jackson was joking. I hope of referring
to me as a crying teacher. Please please don't get
it confused. I was an inner city kid. I was
raised in the hood. I was never scared. But if
your heart is not in the job that pays the minimum,
(44:46):
disrespectful children on cooperative parents, and more problems than answers,
it's time to go before all hell breaks and I
am placed behind bars for handling situations out of frustration.
If a teacher is crying and whining, trust they have reason.
FYI I have a cleaning company, residential and commercial. If
(45:06):
you ever need me. Oh, I wasn't supposed to read
that on the radio anyway. Ah, girl, girl, Okay, Jennifer
Jennifer Crowner, Yeah, tell us what you got going? Ow
you go, girl. Let's see here some more emails, Stormy.
You got to read between the lines. The woman is
materialistic and the man is conservative. PJ says lazy parenting.
(45:29):
I found that there are too many lazy and irresponsible
parents that aren't paying attention to their children. If parents
would put phones down, get off social media, cook for
and spend quality time with their children, things could start
getting better. Love you show PJ. As Thomas says, I'm
so glad to hear that the falcons and the defensive
(45:49):
coordinator were fined. That's what I expected would happen, and
I'm glad that they made that decision quickly. Having a
frugal man is a wonderful thing, but having a cheap
man can actually cause damage to the relationship. Hearing uh
some of the stories makes me so concerned for my grandchildren.
Mmmm mmm hmm. Have mercy, I rather mean, go to
(46:12):
the phone line. Lady P is waiting patiently. W G
I A hello, you.
Speaker 17 (46:18):
Better know.
Speaker 18 (46:22):
Here me.
Speaker 7 (46:23):
How are you?
Speaker 1 (46:23):
I'm good? How are you?
Speaker 18 (46:26):
I'm doing fun?
Speaker 3 (46:27):
So I'm so glad you made it in there and say.
Speaker 1 (46:32):
Thank you, you know.
Speaker 13 (46:32):
And I'm so glad I'm not on the chip one line.
Speaker 18 (46:34):
You know, yes, you know, you know I don't like
I don't know what I do.
Speaker 13 (46:40):
You know that in bothers me.
Speaker 10 (46:41):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (46:42):
But you didn't get on that chipmunk the monk line
the other day. I told you to call back and
I didn't hear from you. But that's okay. You're on
the phone.
Speaker 13 (46:48):
I'm doing a whole I'll be doing a whole lot.
Speaker 16 (46:50):
You're you know, you know I'm gonna say this because
you know, lady can't be count Beatle sometime, you know,
telling them they got too many lines.
Speaker 13 (46:56):
That's probably why Chipmum, I keep jumping in here.
Speaker 16 (46:59):
You know, really you want to call and say some
people really got things they want to talk about Korea.
But thing about it doesn't bother me because long as
I can hear something the other people call in, you know,
it makes me feel good. Now, sometimes I do want
to call in talk, you know, because I little talk,
and I know when I started talking, I can't stop.
Speaker 3 (47:12):
But let me say what I got savor. Let me
say this right here. But that let me tell you this.
Speaker 16 (47:15):
First of all, with this church, you know, so my
heart is just heavy, you know what I mean, because
the thing about it is this historical church something you know, Yeah,
you know what, we got a low We got a
lot of evil people in Memphis.
Speaker 17 (47:29):
Hear me, you hear me, And I don't bring the
ears close to the radio, you know what.
Speaker 16 (47:31):
I mean, because the thing about it, you you know
you know who who you know who burned You know
what I'm saying.
Speaker 18 (47:39):
They saying, Well, we're trying to find out.
Speaker 13 (47:40):
You know, my thing is this right here.
Speaker 16 (47:42):
There's so many evil homes with great greedy people here
and this you know thing about it. Those storm you know,
just like they try to steal, like they try to steal,
just like they try to steal every's press of the house.
Right I'm saying, wow, you know, uh, now here there
is that it's burned up. This the historical church that
we got here, you know, and you have to say
about it. I'm like, wow, it's about money.
Speaker 3 (48:02):
So it's always about money here now. Somebody paid somebody
to do this here.
Speaker 18 (48:07):
That's that's what it is. Uh huh.
Speaker 16 (48:11):
They didn't got their ears together what they and said, though,
what we can do is we got probably got millions
of dollars up in Sherlan's money on this, you know,
on this building.
Speaker 1 (48:19):
Right that's a prime spot. That's a prime spot.
Speaker 16 (48:22):
To think about it and then say you they probably say, well,
wonder what we're gonna put in here, but we need
to put this right here. But we get rid of
the church, we can build this right here.
Speaker 9 (48:30):
And they'll be happy.
Speaker 18 (48:32):
I don't know what they're trying to put there, but I.
Speaker 3 (48:34):
Can say this though, even thought I don't.
Speaker 16 (48:37):
Know I'm saying I want to say thank you here,
I didn't want to say it.
Speaker 8 (48:41):
You said it for me.
Speaker 16 (48:42):
Whatever they put there, they'll never be able to bring
back the memories that they lost.
Speaker 13 (48:47):
You know that they took away.
Speaker 1 (48:48):
You know that church was burned down.
Speaker 18 (48:50):
I don't care if they build another one.
Speaker 13 (48:52):
You never bring back the memory. They'll never be the same.
It's just like killing a person, whole family.
Speaker 18 (48:56):
You know, when you burn down from the heep inside.
Speaker 8 (48:59):
You didn't burn us so many memories, you know what
I mean.
Speaker 13 (49:02):
That church wasn't supposed to burn like that.
Speaker 16 (49:04):
It wasn't supposed just just church been sitting there too long,
so all of a sudden burn up, catch on fire.
Speaker 13 (49:10):
It ain't no way, ain't no way of the word.
Somebody had this done. They know it has done.
Speaker 18 (49:14):
They want to do it. They want they want to.
Speaker 1 (49:16):
Use it for another spot. That's what it is.

Sitting in that courtroom, you know, and I know that
to some of the people that's listening, you know, crying.
Speaker 13 (49:47):
Every day, you know, because it's so sad.
Speaker 16 (49:49):

to protect and service, bet.
Speaker 1 (49:54):
All the stand and beat the mess out of this man.
Speaker 13 (49:56):

but this one.
Speaker 12 (50:20):

Speaker 13 (50:21):

Speaker 18 (50:36):
And I'm not just saying it, but I.
Speaker 17 (50:37):

and I ain't trying to tell.
Speaker 16 (50:41):
You how when you said, well, how we was gonna
give away these tickets, you know what I was hoping.
I was hoping you say, well, if we got any
WI calls here.
Speaker 1 (50:49):
That they did say that, but you left, you had left.
Speaker 16 (50:51):
No, no, no, no, they didn't say it at the beginning.
They kept trying to figure out. And then after you said, well,
we're gonna just gonna take the peace, that's because.
Speaker 1 (50:59):
That's because I was saving the best tickets for Yeah,
we did do that, you know, we did do that.
Speaker 16 (51:05):

Speaker 1 (51:23):
Right, all right, lady, I got to run. I got

She she likes to talk.
Speaker 9 (51:34):
She told us that she did.
Speaker 1 (51:36):
She told us that she loves to talk.
Speaker 3 (51:40):
My fans and.
Speaker 1 (51:43):
Good evening, Good evening, Jackson.
Speaker 8 (51:47):
It's the main world.
Speaker 1 (51:50):
But is it though? But is it though? I taught me? Yeah,
you see see see where is he?
Speaker 10 (52:02):
Anyway?
Speaker 8 (52:03):
Where's John?
Speaker 1 (52:04):
I don't know. I haven't heard from him in a minute.
Maybe he'll call me today. I hope he's doing well, though.
Speaker 8 (52:11):
And let me let me get to the subject. Well,
not that's the subject, because what's on your mind? You know,
the things that we complain about are frivolous eggs.
Speaker 5 (52:23):
Uh.
Speaker 8 (52:27):
Where is Elon Musk?
Speaker 3 (52:30):
I mean Elon Musk is somewhere working to make our lives.
Speaker 1 (52:34):
Better, complain about whatever we want to?
Speaker 8 (52:39):
Well, why are we worried about where Elon Musk is?
Speaker 1 (52:42):
I mean he's in Memphis.
Speaker 8 (52:46):
He's head of the he's head of government efficiency.
Speaker 3 (52:52):
He found that Paypally did it.
Speaker 8 (52:55):
He's doing great things. So why are we worry about
where where is he?
Speaker 7 (53:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (53:01):
Stop worried about things that you can't control people.
Speaker 1 (53:06):
Anyway.
Speaker 3 (53:07):
And to the teacher, I apologize, I apologize, but you
should have stuck with it because teachers get off summers,
they get off holidays. Yeah, Christmas for two weeks.
Speaker 1 (53:25):
Jackson, I hear you talking. But if she didn't feel
like that, that was, you know, something that she needed
to continue to do. You know what I'm saying. Yeah, Yeah,
you know yourself better than anybody. And if you know
you can't give your all to a job, you know,
some people have to go. You just got to go
(53:46):
right right.
Speaker 8 (53:46):
And I applaud her for doing that because a lot
of people stick things out and they're not happy and
they're just hanging on you know. You know what I mean,
Let's start it. Let me say this and i'll uh,
I'll let you go in a few minutes. You know, man,
(54:07):
me and Prince Charles, you know, we don't agree on anything,
but he's he's a pretty good friend of mine. We
just don't agree on anything, you know what, Prince Chaws did,
and I hope it's I hope it's okay with me
telling this.
Speaker 3 (54:24):
It does it.
Speaker 8 (54:24):
It made me humble. You don't have a baseball team.
Speaker 3 (54:29):
Yeah, and I I never asked anybody for anything, but uh.
Speaker 8 (54:35):
It's sponsored by Chopping Table at fourteen nine out South
third Street. Uh there's a green building that you could
go to and you.
Speaker 1 (54:45):
Can Jackson moved alone now alone, Uh.
Speaker 8 (54:51):
Tony Waws and you could go get there and get
your stimulus pack and shoot the men. Prince Prince Charles
offered to pay for my equipment. He offered to pay
for the team uniforms. And I thought he was joking,
(55:12):
but he was ready to write. So they some people
say the check. He was ready to get me a car,
so I said, no, Prince Shell from Great but he was.
And then they asked me again. But I'm thanking Prince
Charlis for offering and I appreciate that.
Speaker 1 (55:29):
Wow, that's pretty awesome.
Speaker 3 (55:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (55:33):
Yeah, we got some good people and and some good
people on this radio trying to that that call in
and listen to this radio. That some good people and
Prince Charles.
Speaker 8 (55:44):
Man, he draws some nice cars. She's hed some nice
cars anyway, it's not about Prince Charles, it's about me.
Speaker 1 (55:53):
We'll get to it.
Speaker 8 (55:54):
Jackson. You you you.
Speaker 1 (55:57):
Uh, what's the word you're.
Speaker 3 (55:59):
Dealing, doll in, I'm tell of us.
Speaker 8 (56:02):
I'm taking time. You know, my fans love when I call.
I have to give them time.
Speaker 3 (56:09):
You know, That's what they say for.
Speaker 1 (56:12):
It's gone to your head. Now, Lord have mercy.
Speaker 8 (56:15):
So let me say this and I'll let you go.
Speaker 10 (56:17):
Ok Uh.
Speaker 8 (56:20):
This weekend, it's gonna be a big weekend in Memphis.
Nick Rose, stay at home, my black people.
Speaker 3 (56:28):
Black people can come on out.
Speaker 8 (56:30):
Black people come on out.
Speaker 7 (56:31):
Wait what.
Speaker 8 (56:34):
Nick Roes. Stay at home, black people, come out and
enjoy yourself.
Speaker 1 (56:37):
See now, see that's why that's why I be taking
you off the radio, because sometimes you be.
Speaker 8 (56:43):
Oh, you know what Nick Roes are.
Speaker 15 (56:48):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (56:49):
I don't know what you're trying to say. I know
what y ends are, and but I'm not supposed to
even say that. I shouldn't even be saying that on
the radio. Yes rather, I know. But anyway, saying Jackson,
you off today? You off today because you didn't do
it till today and I was waiting on. That's why
(57:10):
I've been cutting in on you? You off today? What
is Are you okay? And are you okay?
Speaker 8 (57:18):
I do it when I when I want to.
Speaker 1 (57:22):
Well, how about I just let you go?
Speaker 7 (57:25):
Are we on the radio? Bye?
Speaker 1 (57:27):
Jackson?
Speaker 15 (57:28):
Bye?
Speaker 8 (57:29):
Hey, I have to give my last speech.
Speaker 1 (57:36):
Now you better get your good byes. I got people waiting.
Goodbye child fellow, Bye Jackson? What is wrong with that?
Speaker 7 (57:49):
Man?
Speaker 15 (57:51):
W D?
Speaker 7 (57:54):
I A hello? Hell?
Speaker 1 (57:59):
What's going on? It's you?
Speaker 15 (58:03):
Yes?
Speaker 10 (58:03):
You?
Speaker 14 (58:05):
I was DIDs the dawn?
Speaker 7 (58:07):
How you doing?
Speaker 1 (58:07):
You was in the bathroom?
Speaker 3 (58:10):
I was I was putting up some groceries. Some of
you don't think men know how.
Speaker 15 (58:16):
To do.
Speaker 1 (58:20):
I know men know how to put up groceries. I
don't think we can come clean.
Speaker 10 (58:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (58:29):
Hey, look I got a couple.
Speaker 14 (58:30):
Of comments, right, okay, So I want to respond to
Lady D respectfully, and I'm glad Lady.
Speaker 1 (58:36):
D that we can somewhat disagree.
Speaker 3 (58:38):
And it's not even really it's really not a disagreement.
Speaker 14 (58:41):
You're kind of saying one thing and I'm saying something
slightly different.
Speaker 12 (58:45):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (58:46):
So you know they being saying that, uh you know,
uh geting.
Speaker 10 (58:51):
At the college and basically cheap lady, then get your
get your kids, and.
Speaker 3 (58:56):
I was just saying this morning that it's not simply that,
just like you said in a while ago, and the
example I used was, you know, like, for instance, sometimes
a parent may.
Speaker 14 (59:07):
Become addieped to drugs or you know, maybe.
Speaker 3 (59:10):
Even I call or whatever.
Speaker 14 (59:11):
By however, the parent is neglecting the kid, and the
kid don't find love at home, and they have a
tendency to go out into the streets and roam around
with their friends or associates and sometimes join gangs and.
Speaker 1 (59:22):
Stuff like that. And that's that's a fact.
Speaker 3 (59:26):
That's a fact, you know, and and you know that's
not making an excuse, Lady be that actually happens.
Speaker 7 (59:33):
That's how my.
Speaker 14 (59:34):
Son, you know, nearly stepped in because I was allowing
him to hang with his buddies and whatnot, and and
come to find out they are always.
Speaker 10 (59:42):
Trying to get down and so that's an actual path
and that's.
Speaker 3 (59:46):
Not making any excuse.
Speaker 8 (59:47):
So you know, when a kid grew.
Speaker 14 (59:51):
Up and don't get that nursery and that love and.
Speaker 3 (59:53):
Affection from their parents, yeah, a lot of times they
fail to respect.
Speaker 14 (59:58):
Their parents because they feel the e lifted and denied
and maybe even feel that they're not wanted I've seen
it live and in person, you know. So that's all I'm.
Speaker 3 (01:00:09):
Trying to say right there, Okay, you know, and.
Speaker 14 (01:00:13):
Again I'm glad that we was able to not you know,
get out of control.
Speaker 1 (01:00:18):
One disagree agreeable, disagree agreeable, right right right.
Speaker 14 (01:00:23):
And about the trial, what I'm watching very closely storing
me is you you said you asked, how do we
think it might go? Uh the part about where they're
saying there they were taught or trained to react in
the way that they did. That's what I'm afraid of
right there, that testimony right there, because I really.
Speaker 1 (01:00:43):
Believe that's why they got off of.
Speaker 14 (01:00:45):
The violation of civil rights in federal in court, federal court.
You know, I you know, I'm That's what I'm afraid
of right there, you know.
Speaker 1 (01:00:56):
And if I had to go and fight a bear in.
Speaker 3 (01:00:58):
The woods, who would I take?
Speaker 1 (01:01:00):
Gorilla?
Speaker 7 (01:01:02):
Gorilla?
Speaker 14 (01:01:03):
It can be a gorilla in a bar. I got married, lady.
Speaker 3 (01:01:07):
T and go to the girl, and I guarantee the
bear and.
Speaker 14 (01:01:13):
The gorilla going down.
Speaker 15 (01:01:17):
Okay, that's a good team.
Speaker 1 (01:01:19):
That's a good team. I got you cold. Thank you
for calling in appreciate your calling. Have a good one,
all right.
Speaker 9 (01:01:27):
W d I A.
Speaker 1 (01:01:27):
Hello, Yes, Dimon, Hey, greetings and salutations mancas. How you doing.
Speaker 19 (01:01:37):
I'm doing all right, just sitting outside and enjoying the breeze.
Speaker 17 (01:01:41):
You know.
Speaker 19 (01:01:42):
Yeah, you know, guy was thinking of about W A
D I A to the you're really your shot, and
I was saying, and at that time, it's just who
you know, we we you know, you know what you
know I talk.
Speaker 8 (01:01:56):
About Africa, you know, in Africa and culture.
Speaker 1 (01:01:59):
You know, in Africa and culture.
Speaker 3 (01:02:00):
There is what the guru.
Speaker 8 (01:02:02):
There is always a guru in the village.
Speaker 19 (01:02:04):
The guru is what they carry, the use, you know,
they're the one who get the information. And your reader
station is the guru here.
Speaker 8 (01:02:15):
In names, you know, to black people.
Speaker 19 (01:02:18):
Because yeah, so many vices that come across it's radio station.
And yet we may fight each other and and and ague,
but there is something unique about this radiostation. There's sometimes oh,
I don't have a community. No, you have a community
because the people in that listen to this really station
(01:02:38):
and and party to pet and this radio stiation.
Speaker 1 (01:02:41):
It's a community.
Speaker 3 (01:02:43):
It's a community.
Speaker 8 (01:02:44):
It's a community. And I said it's to the mayor
because I know.
Speaker 3 (01:02:49):
The mayor listen to this radio station, and he said
he was a mayor of culture.
Speaker 8 (01:02:53):
Arts and culture.
Speaker 19 (01:02:55):
You can use arts and culture as a vehicle to
change the dyeynamics in the community.
Speaker 8 (01:03:01):
But you have to bring it in the community.
Speaker 1 (01:03:04):
You have to bring that.
Speaker 19 (01:03:06):
You have to come out into the community. The police
can get involved security. You have to bring the things
that jail the community. Remember back in the day, we
will have those black parties to jail the community. Because
everybody in the house laptop.
Speaker 8 (01:03:22):
Now everybody looking to the people.
Speaker 19 (01:03:25):
So you have to use a different strategy to bring
the people out into the community and the police to
protect so they can develop a releagationship. It's you're gonna
change the dynamics here and d see a Memphis and
then Memphis can.
Speaker 9 (01:03:40):
Be a biger to the rest of the black communities in.
Speaker 7 (01:03:45):
The worldwide.
Speaker 1 (01:03:47):
Because said Jackson, I'm sorry, Marcus, Marcus, go ahead.
Speaker 7 (01:03:52):
You go google near Memphis.
Speaker 1 (01:03:55):
The Memphis in.
Speaker 19 (01:03:58):
History Black history was the first dynasty that they set
up and that dynasty rule VIC Thirty five, one hundred years.
Speaker 3 (01:04:07):
They name of that city was Memphis.
Speaker 7 (01:04:10):
The city is white.
Speaker 19 (01:04:11):
People are telling you know when they named the city,
they know they know the dynamics of the city becazed
the condition that black people were in. They knew the
history of the people they had on their feet. They
knew than they named it.
Speaker 1 (01:04:25):
They give it in the give, They give.
Speaker 3 (01:04:27):
You the answer right here.
Speaker 13 (01:04:28):
For you are the people who.
Speaker 1 (01:04:30):
Can see in the dynamics. You just have to do
it anywhere.
Speaker 8 (01:04:34):
Take care.
Speaker 1 (01:04:35):
Say thank you, Marcus. We got me popped up. You
can be the change that you're looking to see. People
won't change, but they don't want to be it. But
you can be. Talk that talk, Marcus. And I like
how you said we were a community.
Speaker 7 (01:04:54):
I like that.
Speaker 1 (01:04:55):
Miss Johnson says Happy birthday to my sister, Sandra Collins
in Oceola, Arkansas. And she says, happy birthday to your daughter. Oh, Stormy,
you got to read between the lines. The woman is materialist.
Think I think I read that. I read that already.
Let's see here. I think, yeah, I read I read
these already. Anyway, let's see it. There is one that
(01:05:18):
I didn't read. Uh, let's see miss Brandy, she says Jackson. Hey, Stormy,
ask Jackson, did Prince Charles say good buddy? Of what
see now, y'all couldn't have when he offered to pay
for everything. No, come on, now, come on now never,
(01:05:42):

to you in a moment, and we're gonna get that
classic TV throwback on the way as well. Nine o
one five three five nine three four eight hundred five
zero three nine three four two eight three three five
three five nine three four to two. You can tap
that iHeartRadio app or email me Stormy T at MYWDA
(01:06:09):
dot com. Hey, if you're listening to me right now.
It rained yesterday. I don't think that was in the forecast.
Had some rain in some areas of Memphis. I don't
know if we got any over here, but there was some.
I was like, where did this rain come from? They
did not tell us this, or maybe they did not
dis missed it. Never know. Well, today was the day
(01:06:31):
that the Falcons defensive coordinator jeff yuel Bridge was he
publicly apologized. He did, he did, he apologized, show did
mm hmm to Shador and to his dad, and he's
been fined one hundred thousand dollars and then the Falcons
got fined two hundred and fifty thousand. So somebody asked
(01:06:52):
me earlier, where does that money go? So I found
out that they give that money to charity organization and
it goes to charities. Yeah, nonprofits. We hope, we hope.
Uh yeah, So that's what they're saying. Let's see here,
(01:07:14):
Young August emailed me, we're getting ready to go back
to these phones, y'all hang on. She says, I was
on the man's side for the most part until you
said that he washes paper plates and cups. If he's
going to wash them, he might as well buy real dishes.
He reminds me of my friend who says that he's frugal,
(01:07:35):
But from what I can see, he's that way because
he doesn't have consistent income and doesn't have a choice
but to be frugal. At the top of the show,
you were talking about what younger The younger generation prefers
more actions mean everything.
Speaker 8 (01:07:51):
To me.
Speaker 1 (01:07:52):
A post is good, but when the person reaches out
in some way, it kind of shows me whom my
peep at. That's what them young folks saying, that's what
they saying, let me go to this phone line. I
think I got another young person on the phone WD.
Speaker 3 (01:08:06):

Wow.
Speaker 20 (01:09:56):
