but yeah, a lot of people were like, you got

messaged me this morning, Mary, the one in Texas. She
messaged me this morning and she was like, girl, I said, girl,
you late came down yesterday. She said, well, you know,
I didn't. You know she was working late yesterday so
she didn't get a chance to listen to the show.

But yeah, man, so a lot of people all over
the country are just shocked. They're as shocked as we are.
But we do know that all five of the officers
charged in connection with the beating death of Tyree Nichols
will likely soon began length, lengthy prison sentences. Okay, that
includes the men acquitted on Wednesday on autumn charges. All

five defendants are due in federal court in June next
month for sentencing. Yeah, so it ain't over and correct
me if I'm wrong. Somebody told me this last night.
They said, you know, the the main person who did
the main thing, he was the one that pleaded guilty.

And I don't remember. Ain't gonna lie. I couldn't. I'm
not going back to watch that video. I saw the
video when it happened years ago, in twenty twenty three.
I can't do it. I can't put myself through that
trauma again. I can't do it. But so I at
this point, I don't remember which one it was the
main one, but it was one of the guys who

pled guilty from what somebody told me. So if y'all
know different, And then somebody told me they said, you know,
they knew somebody that knew his family or knew him
rather said he was mean even as a little boy.

you there are signs. I believe there are signs when
a child is growing up that something ain't right, you

think men are chastised if they cry or young when

social media talking about he was chastised because he was
a virgin, and I thought, hey, it was okay to

at that like something's wrong with you. They don't see

the city after those three former officers were found not
guilty on yesterday. The five officers, the City of Memphis,
and Police Chief CJ. Davis are being sued by the
Nichols family for five hundred and fifty million dollars. Dang

if they win that, I mean, not just in the
city of Memphis gonna be broke, but CJ. Davis gonna
be broke, and all of them everybody's gonna be broke, everybody.
City of Memphis Police Chief CJ. Davis and them officers
because they suing them all, their last one of them.

hundred fifty million dollars. I wouldn't want to do it.

three Shelby County Sheriff's officers, including a black lieutenant and

the fatal beating of a black teenager two months ago.

in October fifteenth of nineteen seventy one in the fatal
