Speaker 1 (00:01):
How you feeling. You're feeling all right? Are you feeling
good like you know your shoot, I'm feeling good today.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
I am.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
Yesterday I was struggling. I was so sleepy. I know
what to do. You ever worked while you were sleeping
and you were struggling and you told your coworker, Man,
I'm so sleepy today. I don't know what to do.
Oh is it just me? Okay, all right, don't judge me.
It's happened. And it's interesting how you can be sleepy
and then have to talk like I do, and then

(00:30):
you have to you know, answer calls and make sure
you're listening to everybody in that kind of thing. Yeah,
it was a struggle. The struggle was real yesterday. But
I'm good now. I'm good. You know what I wanted
to do. I wanted to challenge you guys, and I
want to ask you to maybe later this week or
maybe next week, to write a letter. You know, yesterday

(00:51):
I was thinking about, you know, because it was National
ballpoint pen Day. You know, I was telling you guys
about you know, I was gonna get me a tablet
and start writing again. I do have tablets. I do
have notebooks. I have them. Buy my bed, and a
lot of times I write my goals for the year,
and then sometimes I'll just write about my life and
if something hits me and I'm like, oh wow, that's good,
I need to write that down, I'll do that too.

(01:12):
But I keep it by my bed every night. It's
already there. But what I don't do is I don't
travel with a notebook in my purse. I don't think
I might have had one in that and I just
I'm not using it. I could have one, small, yeah,
because it's so small, I'm paying attention to it. Let
me get that thing up. I don't have to buy one,
but I would like to buy something.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
You know.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
It's like, you know, travel with The only bad thing
about taking a notepad with you when you're traveling is
people are nosy. I remember this one time, y'all. I
you know, I was writing a love letter to a guy.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
You know.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
I was doing it on my computer, right, so I
was gonna email it to him, right, and I was.
It was in my office, and at the time, my
sister lived with me, my daughter and her husband lived
with me. I don't know. It might have been somebody
else living with me too, but anyway, I left my office.
I go back in my office. My sister is sitting
there reading my I was like, if you get your girl?

(02:14):
Why ooh, don't you hate that when people do that
and don't have no diary. Bababe, you better lock that
thing down. Babe, you better your private secret stuff. Shoot,
you bet you better lock it down because some grandkids
come over there and start reading your stuff and they
start granny dear what. Yeah, that's why I was never comfortable.

(02:38):
Now this is just me and I know you girls
and probably some girls y'all got probably a lot of
I'm being mature here, okay, and don't don't judge me.
I know it's some preachers listening. And y'all forgive me.
A lot of y'all have toys. I've never been comfortable
with having them. You know why, because I have grandchildren

(02:58):
and I'm not the last I wanted with them grandkids
to come to my house and say, Granny, what is this?
Because I don't know about you, but my grandkids are nosy?
I said, uh uh m m not I up in here?
M mmm No. Never. Yeah, but at any rate, I'm

(03:26):
challenging you. My challenge to all of you that are
listening is to start. Write a note to somebody this week,
something nice, you know, somebody. You go into a store
and be careful about how you're writing, because because okay,
I'm talking about a nice note, not just so great
to be careful, but just you know, take some time

(03:46):
and just you know, maybe leave a note for your husband.
I'm the refrigerator baby. I love you, you know, so sweet,
so sweet when things like that happen. Mm hum, I
see you, I see you, Curtis, I see you. And
hello to mister Anthony Wrenn. He called in a little

(04:08):
while ago to say hello to me. He was so nice.
But yeah, I'm charging you for those of you that
don't do it, because some of y'all probably already do this.
But write a note to somebody and just say something nice.
Maybe write a note to your grandchild. Do you know
how much your words matter? See, your words might not

(04:32):
matter to somebody like you know, people that you don't know,
but I promise you they matter to somebody, And I
promise you they mattered to them kids as much as
those children you know or whatever they are. Your words matter.

(04:52):
So you know, My challenge to you guys is pull
out those ball point pens and paper. Let's start leaving
some notes. Let's get to the old school. Maybe if
we get back to the old school, you know, things
might you know, have a chance of changing around here. See,
I didn't even know Fox thirteen were talking. They were
talking about Memphis Mayor Paul Young. I didn't know we

(05:13):
were on a month long negativity fast. I didn't even know.
I've been running my mouth and I, you know, try
not to say anything bad about the city, but I
do tell you things that's happening in the city. It's
my job. But I didn't know we were on a
negativity I did not know that. So Fox thirteen caught
up with may Or Paul Young, and this is what

(05:34):
he said.

Speaker 5 (05:35):
I believe that as we support officers and as we
do the things to move public safety from an enforcement perspective,
that we should also be thinking about how can we
inspire more hope, show people more opportunities. And by speaking life,
by having ambassadors of good in our community, it lets
our young people and those that may be headed down

(05:55):
the wrong path. It lets them know that there may
be other things that they can do.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
You know what, I actually like that because I don't
know about you, but I think every now and then,
maybe you need something like that because speaking better. Some
of y'all may not believe, but you get what you say.
You come home every day. I'm broken, broken, broke, I

(06:20):
don't say it no more. I call myself rich. Somebody says,
you know, poor Stormy. I said, rich Stormy. Okay, okay, huh,
I'm speaking it. I'm speaking it. It'll get down off
in you and then you know, something will change. So
maybe that is what we need in our city, to
be more positive about things, you know, and we do

(06:41):
all try to do that. So it's not like, you know,
we're not trying to do that. We do all try
to do that. We're trying to be positive people.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
I don't know if you saw it yesterday, and well,
I don't know if you saw it last night. A
couple of things I want to share with you. Did
y'all see that strawberry moon last night? A strawberry moon?
Did y'all see it? I saw it. One of the
news stations was talking about it. But I think I
saw it. But I said, uh uh m. I left
here last night. I went home and went to bed.

(07:12):
I will go see no strawberry moon. Mm mmmm, but
a lot of people are talking about the strawberry moon
that was out last night, and I believe you could
see it in our area. Got a new restaurant around here.
You know, it's interesting when new restaurants come to town,
they end up just automatically becoming kind of the talk
of the town, and people in Memphis will go to

(07:33):
a new restaurant there will One of the new restaurants
that's come is Raising Canes. And I need to know
y'all hit me up and let me know, or tap
that out and let me know if you went to
Raising Gains for the grand opening today at three thirty.
This woman she was there.

Speaker 3 (07:49):
Because I know Raising kid.

Speaker 6 (07:51):
When I heard that this one was coming up, I
had some new first one here.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
I camped out.

Speaker 6 (07:56):
We got here about eighty something rough Queen five mattress.
We slept when we got done with everything. We played volleyball,
we played.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
You got to be a kidding me. First woman to
make it up in there to Raisin Kines, you guys,
that was the first woman. And eight o'clock last night
she got that eight o'clock. I'm gonna try Raisin Kine,
But I don't like no restaurant that much that I'm
gonna camp out at eight o'clock and be there for

(08:29):
a hold. I'm not gonna be able to do it now.
I will watch y'all do it and talk about it
on the radio, but I'm not doing it. I'm not
doing it. I gained, I gained. So I don't know
if you heard the news, but this actually happened about
seventeen hours ago in LA. Because a lot of people
are still talking about what's going on there. The mayor

(08:51):
of Los Angeles, Mayor Karen Bastard, I wanted to let
the city know, and I'm letting you know because some
of y'all probably had vacation plans and you were going
to LA. But she said, yeah, this is that.

Speaker 7 (09:06):
I have declared a local emergency and issued a curfew
for downtown Los Angeles to stop the vandalism, to stop diluting.
Many businesses have now been affected by are vandalized.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
Last night, there were maybe I saw something that was disheartening,
and and you know, like I said, I have to
see things because of my job. I got to see stuff.
I saw the Hispanic some of the Hispanic people out
in the streets talking to some of the black police
officers and calling them the.

Speaker 4 (09:43):
In word.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
Women and men. And I know, I know Hispanics or
you know, people of Spanish persuasion or am I saying
it right? I know they because they don't all want
to call themselves Hispanic or they're not all Hispanic, but
they any rate. When I saw I know, when I
lived in Dallas, a lot of them were saying the
in word. I went to this park I remember, and

(10:08):
it was a lot of a lot of Spanish speaking
people there, and I was shocked at how many, how
many of those folks were just throwing around the in word.
It upset me. This was years ago. And then when
I saw the video of some of the protesters literally
calling the offices the in word, I just don't think

(10:31):
that helps their plight, especially wanting black people to support them.
I don't think it helps their plight. It just seeing
that video just turned me off so bad, turned me
off so bad. I just it really kind of broke
my heart, That's really what it did. It broke my heart.

(10:51):
And I'm not going to lump everybody in the category
because I know what some people do is they lump
people in a category because you know, like I hated
when they lump everybody black into a cab they do,
they put it. Some people put all of us in
one category. We are not all out there in them
streets doing wild stuff. We're not all out there in

(11:12):
them streets doing stuff. We ain't got no business, you
know what I'm saying. So I hate it when people
do it. So I'm not gonna put them all in
a categories. I know some some that are you know,
some Spanish speaking speaking people that are beautiful people that
probably would never uh and so I'm not gonna put
them all in one category. But that video mm hmmm, yeah. Man, Okay,

(11:42):
So y'all know Shelby County Mayor. I don't know if
you guys care who's running for Shelby County mayor. You
should because you should be voting. You should care about
you know, all of this. We got six people running
for mayor, five people that I already knew about. J W. Gibson, businessman,
former commissioner J W. Gibson, Memphis City Council member JB. Smiley,

(12:05):
Junior Shelby County Commissioner, Michael Lowry, Harold Collins, who is
the Chief Administrative Officer for Shelby County, and Shelby County
Assessor Melvin Burgess be hundred. Today a woman stepped in
the ring. Baby. I don't know if you know, but

(12:28):
she's the Shelby County Criminal Court Clerk, Heidie Coon. Heidie
is now she's as she's in a run for Shelby
County mayor. And that makes five? Who all think is
gonna get it? Or do you? You better care? Mayle
Lee Harris talking about raising your tags, your car tags

(12:50):
five dollars, so you better care? Who is Shelby County
Magasin's gonna affect your pocket? It's gonna affect you. And
I'm just wondering. Let me check on nurse and Coach
one hundred. The property texts is in Bartlett have increased
twenty six percent. Yeah, twenty six percent. I don't even

(13:13):
know if the people in Bartlet were expecting that, you
know what I'm saying. So there you go. All right,
a couple questions for you before we get to other things.
But first off, y'all know how to reach me right
nine on one five three five nine three four two
eight hundred five zero three nine three four two eight
three three five three five nine three four two. You
can tap that iHeartRadio app. Some of y'all been tapping it,
but I'm not hearing anything, which means that you may

(13:34):
not be I don't know what you're doing. You might
be doing something wrong. So when you tap that, you
tap that microphone, make sure your volume and everything's up
on your phone. You can test it. I think you
might be able to listen back to it. I'm not sure,
but at any rate, because I don't really use it.
I you know, you know, get the messages, but I
don't use it myself. But I have used it before.
I have tapped it. Yeah, just so I could practice

(13:56):
see what people are doing, so I could tell you
what to do. So when you tap the red microphone
and while you're listening to ten seventy WDA, just make
sure you're talking and we can hear you when you're
talking and you know, yeah, okay, So a dilemma. This
is something that I thought was interesting, an interesting story,
and I'm just wondering what you guys think about it.
I saw this story. It's out of Mobile, Alabama. I

(14:19):
believe Young August is down in Alabama. Hey, girl. So
police in Alabama, what was this yesterday? A couple days ago?
Police in Alabama say that a mother is dead at
the hands of one of her sons. Okay, she's gone.

(14:43):
Her son killed her, all right, Well her other son
killed that son. So my question to you is, Okay,
so one of the sons killed her, then the son

(15:07):
that was alive killed him. Question to you, should he
be charged? Terrible story. Authorities identified the deceasays fifty two
year old Tracy McDuffie UH and twenty five year old
Brandon McDuffie. The Mobile Police Department said its investigation revealed

(15:28):
that Brandon duffey duffy fatally shot his mother, Tracy duff McDuffie.
Tracy McDuffie's other son discovered what happened. Police said, at
that point, Brandon McDuffie shot towards the other son. He
defended himself by shooting his brother, Brandon. Okay, he was

(15:49):
defending himself and he shot the He shot Brandon. The
death of Tracy McDuffie, you know, police say, a we
know Brandon vie it so now the death of Brandon
McDuffie is being presented to a grand jury. Should he

(16:12):
be charged because to me it sounds like self defense,
But evidently somebody's thinking maybe he should because they're gonna
send it to a grand jury. He may have been arrested.
I don't know, but this was a couple of days ago.
Just you know, throwing that one out there. It's terrible story.

(16:32):
I'll tell me what you think about it, okay. And
then lastly, question of the day, Oh, this this one.
I love my wife and this probably happens more than
we know about. So this is gonna be probably a
teachable moment for somebody today if you call in and
answer this one. I loved my wife entirely too much

(16:56):
that I lost the relationship with my family. And when
we went through our divorce, my family wasn't there for me.
I haven't spoke to my parents in four years, and
my brother's in three. My kids even turned on me.
My wife took two hundred and fifty thousand dollars from
our checking account and the house I had to start

(17:20):
over from scratch. The system is women driven, is what
he says. A man doesn't stand a chance. I would
never marry again. It's a trap, men, it is what
he says. Okay, After about five years, I forced my
wife to get a job. Within two years we were divorced.

(17:40):
I did not have have it like I did when
we first got together. I needed help. Long as she
had nice cars, taking trips, she was happy. As soon
as times got hard, she wanted out. That's what he said.
This is not the life of me.

Speaker 8 (18:01):
Now.

Speaker 1 (18:02):
I'm just gonna date and just have fun, not gonna
put my heart in a woman's hand, no more. A
man scorned. We always talked about a woman's scorn, But
a man scorned is what he is. But how does
he deal with the relation. I'll tell you something. If

(18:22):
you are in a relationship, and if the person you're
in a relationship wants you to leave your family alone,
red flag. That's all I got to say. Then, y'all holler,
let me tell me what you got to say. All right,
let's go to the phone. See what y'all talking about today? Okay,
w d I A hello?

Speaker 9 (18:43):
Hello?

Speaker 8 (18:44):
This story?

Speaker 1 (18:45):
What hello that lady?

Speaker 2 (18:46):
D Yes, I.

Speaker 10 (18:51):
Read this story that you was talking about.

Speaker 11 (18:54):
Now, I don't think the brother was going after him,
but that's kind of hard to say because he already
had killed his mother, so I think he should have
had the gone on him that he thought he was
a threat to them until the police got there.

Speaker 1 (19:13):
Okay, the story is Lady d that Brandon McDuffie shot
towards him. That's the one that was killed. He shot
at him first. He shot towards him first.

Speaker 10 (19:27):
But if that's the case, I don't think he should
be shod.

Speaker 11 (19:33):
But you know what, Storm that he's trying to see
that for the rest of his life. He killed his brother,
His brother kill his mother, so right there, his mine
went bad. His mine went bad.

Speaker 10 (19:50):
Okay, you kill mama. He's probably looking at that like, uh,
you kill mama.

Speaker 11 (19:57):
And now I wonder what was the motive for the
besides you know, Mester Edning and people don't think it's real,
but it's real, Storm and mister Eddings is really sure
to say, and it's.

Speaker 10 (20:09):
Somewhere down the line.

Speaker 11 (20:12):
I bett she was trying to get him to take
its medicine or something, or he was off of his
medicine and throw him. And with the toys, I think,
I don't think I'll ever need one of them.

Speaker 2 (20:27):
You know, if you got one of the.

Speaker 10 (20:30):
I'm sitting but listen, know, get some say that every
woman need one elf.

Speaker 8 (20:36):
The man ain't doing nothing?

Speaker 1 (20:38):
What's up?

Speaker 8 (20:38):
Marriage? Man?

Speaker 12 (20:39):
Say?

Speaker 4 (20:39):
She keep on watch?

Speaker 10 (20:40):
He said, Deep, I can't listen, Lady D.

Speaker 1 (20:46):
I had a girlfriend. I had a girlfriend and she
told me. She said she was having trouble in her marriage.
And she said, girl, I kept one by the drawer
and she said, use it while they were just still.

Speaker 6 (21:00):
You know.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
I was like, oh my goodness, oh keep that to yourself.
But hey, hey, you're right. I mean, people do what
they do. You know, I find ever.

Speaker 11 (21:10):
Need one, I might find one.

Speaker 10 (21:13):
But I just thought about that.

Speaker 8 (21:14):
I ain't.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
I know, that's right, Lady D. I don't nothing.

Speaker 6 (21:20):
Know.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
Have a good all right, Lady D, thank you for
checking in and I appreciate you.

Speaker 13 (21:27):
W D.

Speaker 1 (21:28):
I a hello, Storm? What's up, big Hebrew? How you doing.

Speaker 4 (21:35):
Really good?

Speaker 6 (21:36):
Like?

Speaker 1 (21:36):
He come on in the room.

Speaker 4 (21:39):
Hey, I've been listen. I've been listening. I've been laughing
and listening. Lady. Did you a trip? Your trip? Lady?

Speaker 3 (21:48):
I want to address this this.

Speaker 4 (21:50):
Hispanics out there.

Speaker 8 (21:51):
La.

Speaker 4 (21:52):
You know Storm.

Speaker 8 (21:53):
I come out of Parallel High.

Speaker 3 (21:54):
School, Storm in nineteen eighty six. Okay, fairly bulldogs and
all elementary school years. I always when black history, it
always started at slavery, and I know the reason why,
and you know I know the reason why they started
in slavery. But see, let's go back to the fourteen hundreds. Okay,

(22:15):
there's such a thing called the Spanish Inquisition. Okay. The
Spanish Inquisition is when they pushed Christianity into the continent
of Spain. Okay.

Speaker 4 (22:27):
And so there were Hebrew black Hebrew.

Speaker 3 (22:29):
Jews in Spain that they separated from their children, and
they put their children on slave ships and sent them
to the west coast of Africa.

Speaker 1 (22:41):
Okay. And now to Prince Chall's this is to you,
you know you're on point.

Speaker 3 (22:45):
Keep studying, okay, because but one thing when you study
the Bible, Prince charge, understand that it's talking to us.
It's talking to us. It's our history books, it's our culture.
But what I'm saying is in the book, the most
I said is vengeance is mine. Okay.

Speaker 4 (23:01):
Our ways are his ways.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
And he looks at it totally different.

Speaker 3 (23:06):
So what we've seen going on now with his Spanish,
the Spanish comes from South America. Spain had a lot
of colonies in South America. That bloodline of what they did.

Speaker 4 (23:15):
To us is being done to them. They're seeing their children.

Speaker 3 (23:19):
Separated, they're seeing these things for all them things. I'm
not saying horrop of that. I'm just trying to give you,
guys that don't really understand have a quite clear of
the boule, who our God is and what he's doing.
He is bringing judgement on all the things they've done
to his people, and that's quite clear what's going on.

Speaker 4 (23:39):
So it's throwing me.

Speaker 3 (23:40):
I just wanted to say that, so just to put
that out there, because that's my two cents showing that
I ain't gonna say this. I saw called wat the
other day and I heard I saw a song and
I started the city to you, and I said, I
aint gonna mess.

Speaker 6 (23:52):
With you like that.

Speaker 1 (23:54):
Okay, you take care of yourself too, all right. I
will right and keep in touch, okay, all right, bye bye.
I know y'all be sending me stuff on social media.
I don't always get a chance to respond because I
get so much stuff. But I see you, I see
you stuff. I see what y'all be sitting at Tracy,

(24:15):
Hey girl, Jennifer, hey girl, cap'in not cap'in. That's all
I almost say. Listen as my dad, I can talk
to my daddy if I want to. All right, y'all listen,
we're gonna come back and talk some more. Mister l
Prince Charles Clyde. Y'all, y'all hang on. I'mna come back

(24:37):
and get you y'all tapping that app you're sending messages.
I'll get to all of those coming up. Nin on
one five three, five, nine three four two eight hundred
five zero three nine three four two National Corn on
the Cob Day. Yeah, man, Today it's also National German
Chocolate Cake Day. For those of you that love German
chocolate cake, Today's your day.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
You know.

Speaker 1 (25:02):
Every now and then I have a conversation with them
grandkids of mine. You know, grandkids ask you some of
the weirdest questions, you know. Like I was talking to
them about Father's Day coming up, and they asked me
about their son, their you know, their daddy's daddy, who

(25:22):
is technically my baby daddy. So they asked me what
I was gonna get him for Father's Day. You know
what I'm saying, pretty much just like that, nothing. I

(25:50):
ain't getting that man. Nothing. He ain't y'all get him
something that's your grandfather.

Speaker 3 (25:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:59):
I saw that on Social media too. Yeah, what are
you getting your baby daddy for Father's Day? It is
kind of funny. Anyway, let me go to this app
because you guys are tapping the app. Let's go to
the app and see what you guys are talking about
on today. Here we go.

Speaker 4 (26:17):
That's right, thank you, thank you baby. Listen.

Speaker 14 (26:20):
Yeah, it's only and I thank you may I for
saying no negative that go for me Jackson and anybody
else talking Jackson, you did a good job on staying sure,
promoting Memphis.

Speaker 4 (26:33):
But only in Memphis. A woman with a hot sauce bottle,
only in Memphis.

Speaker 14 (26:38):
And right now, I tell brother, get you a freeting up, lady,
get you want to thank you storming you.

Speaker 1 (26:45):
Know, cap, thank you daddy.

Speaker 5 (26:48):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (26:51):
He always telling me what to do, so you know,
I call him that anyway. The guy who he's talking about,
the guy getting the prenup, because the guy, if he
had had a prenup, maybe he wouldn't have gotten But
I was watching what was the show? It comes on Netflix.
Some of y'all probably watch it too. Love Some of
Our Love where they you know, uh privately is the

(27:13):
one where they secretly date each other in the pots
and then they come out the pots and they decide
they're gonna get married or not, and you know all
that stuff. Anyway, they go and live at each other.
So the girl decides she was going to, you know,
have her man, you know, do a prenup and before
they got married, because that's what she wanted to do,
and he said, okay, I'm gonna do the prenup and

(27:34):
so but anyway, they didn't get married. But Captain might
be on to something because this man said he was
with his wife and evidently a long time because they
have children. He loved her, she took two hundred and
fifty thousand dollars out of his bank account and alienated
him from his family. Can't none understanding? But I don't know.

(27:55):
Something about that story don't add up to me, because
how can somebody, especially not know people. You know, they
talk about people doing that and how you need to
be careful, and I know it happens to women, but
I don't see a lot of men that that happens to.
But I'm telling you that's a red flag. Anybody you
marry and want to keep you from your family. Come on, man,
uh huh w d I A hello?

Speaker 8 (28:16):
Number one number one.

Speaker 2 (28:22):
I'm doing good.

Speaker 1 (28:24):
I'm doing good today.

Speaker 8 (28:25):
Today I was driving on the Marquis the billboards and
you know, they advertised for a push up popsiples. Now
I shouldn't never think about you, I said, Oh my goodness,
you know to hear me, you know, talking and complaint.
Now they're advertising pup. Hey sorry, real, I'm along one

(28:48):
tappain freeing up even if you don't have much. You know,
I know people saying that you know you're married for this, you're.

Speaker 4 (28:54):
Married for that.

Speaker 8 (28:55):
But the way things going right now, if I decided
to get married again, I'm freeing out with definitely going
to accountability because I don't have much, but one little
bit I got I want to keep it. And saying
to the gentleman who got the two hundred and fifty
thousand dollars taken from him, her name had to build
that bank account in order for her to get it.
She just could walk into a bank and get that money.

(29:15):
So that was on you, fella, not on her. And
maybe she was entitled to have that money due Now
you sports this woman and she was expecting the best
and the best. I kind of fault you for that
again because she kind of set the standards high that
she didn't want to come down off of that started. Yeah,
that's that's the truth. If I'm here at spoiling you

(29:37):
left and right, and all of a sudden things hit
rock bottom, I can't really fault you for saying like
I'm out because you just for me giving you the
best of the best.

Speaker 4 (29:47):
That's just my take on it. Also storming real quickly.

Speaker 8 (29:51):
And the words of boj As I call it Bobby
Oja bump those merits running for office.

Speaker 12 (29:57):
I wouldn't vote for none of them.

Speaker 8 (29:59):
I mean, we continue to get the same exact thing
that we put in offense, power, taxes, power. Then they
get in office and then they forget about you. So no,
I'm not thinking about any of the accounting mayor. I
don't care unless God himself kills me to go vote
for this individual, I don't care.

Speaker 12 (30:16):
I don't care about none of them. They have rubbed
me the wrong way for the last term.

Speaker 1 (30:22):
You got to vote for somebody, don't for anybody.

Speaker 8 (30:26):
No, No, let me say this real quickly. Let me
say this real quickly. People have always said this here
our ancestor fault for us to go vote. I tell
them with that same exact breath they vote for me
if I chose not to vote either vote is not
a requirement for me to go out because my ancestors
went out of voting. If we don't have good candidate

(30:47):
for that position, don't waste your time doing But this
test me. I can't speak for no one else, but
I can speak for me if those candidates does not
qualify to the point where I, like Tom, No, I'm
not going to go out there, and they recognition that
to get it anymore. The last and final things, Stormy,
I want to say this. You made a mentioned about
the Hispanic people out out in LA and it's coming

(31:09):
to Memphis. It's all amount of time. It's only a
maounter of time that's coming straight to Memphis. But why
would you be so shocked to see these individuals welcome
to black officers and call them the inward. If you
look at the top ten hip hop songs right now,
they got in words in them. Hey, you're dancing to them,
you're singing their praises. So what's the difference. It doesn't

(31:33):
give us a badgee because within the polls to be black,
if you look up the word the in word, it
just says to somebody who's ignorant. I mean, we refer
to us, but I don't even call black volks that word,
and I don't want them to call me that.

Speaker 4 (31:47):
But if you've got.

Speaker 8 (31:48):
Songs out there right now, like don't say Kendrick Lamar.
I like Kendrick Lamar, and then I like us did
talk you call them the inward and y'all made this
the number one hit sounds. It was a number one
at the I'm not the altabetic at the American Music Award,
So why don't you get upset at the hispanic walk
up to.

Speaker 4 (32:06):
You and call you that?

Speaker 8 (32:07):
What you call yourself? This all the time and nothing
being said about it. That's always saw me, thank you
and allowed me to speak. I'm on you and everybody
to have a beautiful bless sate and help did they do?
Beautiful push up up?

Speaker 1 (32:19):
Thank you so much, friends, Charles appreciate what you calling
in Yeah, and I know he wasn't talking about me, no,
because I ain't make nothing. No wanting to tell you
that first off, but I don't. I don't, I don't.
I don't like it, So even if it is in songs,
I don't say it. I don't like it, and I
don't want you saying it to me. You know what

(32:41):
I'm saying, Hey, and that's my prerogative. Who said that,
Bobby Brown, It's my progative. Okay, let me see. African
consultant says, they are saying that this Saturday, it's going
to be a mess. Also, I guess in LA that
is truly sad. The story from Mobile, Alabama, and that
was a beautiful black fan. Emily Miscocha says, Hey, Stormy,

(33:02):
I don't know why some not all, of the Hispanics
want to use the N word, because every neighborhood that
we live in or stores that we're in, it's strange
that they want to be wherever we are. Yeah. Man,
I'm gonna go back to these emails, but I'm gonna
go back to your calls here too. Let's go back

(33:23):
to the phones. WD I A.

Speaker 8 (33:24):
Hello, Yeah, what's something my friends?

Speaker 2 (33:30):
Hey?

Speaker 1 (33:31):
Miss do well? How you doing?

Speaker 15 (33:34):
I'm all right, I can't eat nothing today, so ok, I.

Speaker 2 (33:38):
Gotta go and take the colonots to be kids tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (33:41):
Oh yeah, those colonoscopies, you gotta have them done.

Speaker 9 (33:45):
Yeah, yeah, you're doing that.

Speaker 2 (33:47):
That's why you can't.

Speaker 1 (33:48):
I can't eat nothing now.

Speaker 15 (33:49):
When you said going on the cup on, you said
in that chocolate cake, the German chopic cake.

Speaker 16 (33:57):
Yeah, I can't do that today.

Speaker 1 (34:02):
You know, I've been doing pretty good, just working, you know,
just up in here working. How you doing.

Speaker 8 (34:09):
I'm doing all right.

Speaker 15 (34:10):
I called all standing this morning and told him I
don't call him.

Speaker 1 (34:13):
As much, but I do be listening to him.

Speaker 3 (34:16):
I know you do.

Speaker 1 (34:17):
Shoot, I be listening to stay in beall too. Yes,
ma'am and elam.

Speaker 9 (34:28):
They know they did take that too far.

Speaker 16 (34:34):
You have to think before you speak.

Speaker 1 (34:36):
That's what's wrong with something. People don't nobody think.

Speaker 17 (34:40):
Everybody just.

Speaker 12 (34:43):
Just go on.

Speaker 9 (34:44):
Why you going off?

Speaker 2 (34:45):
That ain't gonna saw nothing?

Speaker 8 (34:47):
Then you go back and.

Speaker 1 (34:48):
Think about it.

Speaker 8 (34:49):
Man, you know what mine?

Speaker 4 (34:50):
I should have.

Speaker 1 (34:50):
Waited before I see it. It's too late now count
tea or something.

Speaker 12 (34:57):
Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.

Speaker 1 (34:58):
It's just people just not people like they used to
be no more.

Speaker 9 (35:02):
It just to be like when we have different generations.

Speaker 16 (35:06):
Everything is different. But that's because I'm looking at.

Speaker 15 (35:10):
It in a perspect the way that everybody is raising
their kids different. Everybody's not raising their kids.

Speaker 1 (35:21):
Like everybody is that's right, and I think.

Speaker 15 (35:25):
That's one of the reason why we having a lot
of problems. And then eighteen year old kill somebody. Now
he now he gonna spend he going to jail for
a murder chop.

Speaker 1 (35:39):
Eighteen years old.

Speaker 15 (35:40):
See, I told you brain ain't quite the best.

Speaker 1 (35:42):
See right, that's right, that's right.

Speaker 8 (35:45):
It is so wrong, it's wrong, it is.

Speaker 15 (35:51):
I don't know what more you can say to try
to help nobody, because don't nobody want.

Speaker 16 (35:56):
You saying nothing to the kids, or what can you do?

Speaker 4 (36:00):
I don't do nothing.

Speaker 15 (36:02):
They okay, but miss I want to try to help you.
I have an authority to want to help anybody.

Speaker 4 (36:09):
But we what it is.

Speaker 1 (36:10):
We gotta get all on the same page.

Speaker 16 (36:13):
Now, I don't think that's gone happened.

Speaker 1 (36:16):
Yeah, well all right, miss Joel, I got right. Thank
you for calling. Okay, all right, I love you, Love
you too, A bag Chantelle Harris. Hey, Now she said
love is blind. That's it, love is blind. It was
a black couple too. She said, I want you to
sign a prenup and and uh uh they didn't get married.

(36:36):
They it didn't happen. W d I A hello, how
are you?

Speaker 3 (36:42):
Hey?

Speaker 1 (36:42):
Am good?

Speaker 3 (36:43):
How are you all right.

Speaker 18 (36:45):
I'm just listening at Prince Charles, and he does have
about point on on these mayors.

Speaker 1 (36:51):
Uh huh.

Speaker 4 (36:52):
I think it's just time for a change anyway.

Speaker 1 (36:55):
But what change if you got you know, you got
people that are running for office.

Speaker 19 (37:00):
They seem to make dumb decisions when when I know
that they're supposed to be in power to make the
right decision, and they're supposed to have people that preside
them to help them make decisions, but they look like nobody's.

Speaker 18 (37:12):
Standing beside them that to guide them and direct them
to the right decision. I mean, I'm speaking of speaking
first on call Mayor Paul Young, and I know for
a fact he really don't need to.

Speaker 4 (37:24):
Be an office.

Speaker 8 (37:25):
I didn't vote on him anywhere.

Speaker 20 (37:27):
So a second, of all, five, people need to stop
voting for people who just black.

Speaker 4 (37:32):
There's more people out there that can do the job.

Speaker 8 (37:34):
So I mean, we need to stop voting with just
color and color on.

Speaker 1 (37:37):
Mmmm. So you don't like the job that Mayor Paul
Jung is doing.

Speaker 8 (37:41):
No, I'm no, no, no, no, no.

Speaker 20 (37:44):
I'm sure I'm not the only one. I'm not the
only one, and I'm sure that a lot more can
ard their opinions.

Speaker 4 (37:51):
Also.

Speaker 2 (37:53):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (37:55):
Well so that was my coming for today.

Speaker 1 (37:59):
Well, I thank you for making it and thank you
for calling in. Okay, thank you, all right, goodbye, w
D I A hello, great collar Storman.

Speaker 8 (38:10):
Be right, I'm one of them two.

Speaker 1 (38:12):
Wait a minute, Wait a minute, hold up, wait a minute.
I'm forgetting for the job for him.

Speaker 8 (38:16):
You did what every day?

Speaker 2 (38:18):
He's not doing a good job.

Speaker 9 (38:21):
The first thing is when that situation dealing with the
police direct police chief, that's the first thing that blew.

Speaker 2 (38:28):
I'm mad right there.

Speaker 9 (38:29):
He's not doing a good job.

Speaker 2 (38:30):
I agree with that call.

Speaker 8 (38:33):
I'm gonna get out of it because I like I
tell you, I'm not trying to tell y'all do anything
anything like I'm just bossing Nile pion. But I'll tell
you this, Dorman, when you were talking about corn and
all that stuff, ball pin day, what is Friday the
thirteenth day?

Speaker 1 (38:51):
What day is that?

Speaker 9 (38:52):
Dom? Look on the ch whatever you're looking at till me.

Speaker 4 (38:55):
What day that you?

Speaker 1 (38:56):
Friday the thirteenth? Uh hmmm, I don't see it coming up. Oh,
let me see Friday. Uh, let's see. I don't see
it yet. I don't see it. Yeah, But that's interesting.

(39:16):
So I got to find the calendar because there is
a calendar with all the days and you know of
the year that you know, did you know you could
actually get a day?

Speaker 4 (39:27):
I think I was born on the thirteen.

Speaker 1 (39:31):
Wait, this coming Friday is your birthday?

Speaker 8 (39:34):
Now?

Speaker 2 (39:34):
And March?

Speaker 1 (39:37):
Okay, okay, well let me now if you wanted to
if you say that again, I was just saying, okay, okay,
I was saying, if you want a national holiday, if
you want to get you one. I think it's about
one thousand dollars.

Speaker 8 (39:58):
You could have a That's what That's what is all about.
It about money and one thousand dollars because.

Speaker 16 (40:06):
They said the national holiday.

Speaker 1 (40:08):
Now, hey, you know what I'm together. I think it's
a little you know, but but people evidently are doing it,
because yeah, yeah, they're doing it.

Speaker 9 (40:16):
Oh like like nan your start in the sky and
all that Craft.

Speaker 8 (40:20):
Says being brainwashed. I just can't understand without follow they
count craft.

Speaker 9 (40:27):
Mmm do you know what they have that really kissed
me off?

Speaker 19 (40:33):
It was that that way.

Speaker 21 (40:35):
Don't believe any thank the key of married anymore?

Speaker 1 (40:39):
I know what's up with that?

Speaker 9 (40:42):
I mean, so I know if I marry this woman
and you know, she won't get in there and we
get a divorce.

Speaker 8 (40:50):
They gotta be a big thing for divorce her.

Speaker 9 (40:52):
But if she advoced me, hey.

Speaker 16 (40:55):
What can I say?

Speaker 9 (40:56):
And whatever she get cool? But so I just can't.
Foundation is already. That's stuff we used to.

Speaker 16 (41:02):
Throw the word prenup in there.

Speaker 8 (41:05):
I'm saying that, man, warning level that world.

Speaker 15 (41:14):
Come up.

Speaker 8 (41:15):
They don't know you.

Speaker 9 (41:18):
Why you want to marriage someone and say pre nup
a marriage is just throwing the way. It's a true storm.
I'm listening. I'm out of here.

Speaker 1 (41:31):
Well, I forgetting.

Speaker 8 (41:32):
Let me tell you.

Speaker 1 (41:33):
The thirteenth of this Friday, it's actually National Sewing Machine Day,
National Weed your garden Day, bring it what y'all?

Speaker 9 (41:45):
People bring theirself up, come out, National.

Speaker 16 (41:48):
Swing Day, and we I'm a man, I don't say.

Speaker 1 (41:52):
It's National movie Night. Oh my god, it's National golf
cart Day. Yeah wait wait wait, here's a good one.
Here's a good one. Wear blue day before Father's Day.
Mm hm oh yeah, because you wear blue on Friday

(42:14):
before Father's Day.

Speaker 21 (42:17):
I don't nobody can kill me.

Speaker 12 (42:19):
What I can well.

Speaker 1 (42:23):
That I forget to say, you ain't getting him, he
don't want it, and what he said you don't want it. Okay,
let me see. I'm gonna go to this line to
see what y'all talking about this y'all tapping this app.
Let's go to the app high storm and tea, Hey,
I want tikes on your show. And I just want

(42:43):
to tell you I had a great time with the.

Speaker 12 (42:47):
Brothers.

Speaker 21 (42:49):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (42:49):
Me and my husband hadn't had a date night like
that in a long time. We really enjoyed.

Speaker 22 (42:54):
So thanks w D I A for my tikis, and
thanks Storming for the opportunity.

Speaker 1 (43:00):
Ah so sweet. I'm so glad you got a chance
to get out and have a good time. Hey, Storming,
what's up for city Pat? I am the N word,
but I'm a negro top that top.

Speaker 4 (43:13):
Some people use it as different terms.

Speaker 1 (43:16):
Enjoy your day, Okay, I got you. What do you
call me to push your popsicle? Wait a minute, let
me see what he said. He said something like that
at the end. Let me let me see what he.

Speaker 4 (43:27):
Said, pop ciccle.

Speaker 1 (43:31):
He's called me a popsicle. All right, y'all, listen, We're
going to take a break and we go come back
and talk to you guys. Let's see Michael Denver brother
Bernard Clyde. Clyde after Gate, after Gate, I'm coming to you.
Don't you move nine o one five three five nine
three four two eight hundred and five zero three ninety
three four two eight three three five three five nine

(43:53):
three four two. We'll be back in the moment. Stormy
conversations on your radio on this June eleventh. Yeah man,
it is a national German chocolate cake day and corn
on the cop day too. Yeah. Let me send some
prayers out for Dion Sanders. I don't know if you

(44:15):
guys heard he well, word is he? You know, may
not be doing the best right now. And he posted
on social media. I believe it was today he kind
of let everybody know, you know that he was truly
blessed for the abundance of well wishes for all of
those thoughts and all the prayers. He says, thank you,
thank you, thank you. I can assure you all that

(44:37):
everything is okay and will continue to be. So got
me like no other. I have so much work to
do to glorify God. So please believe God's got me. Yeah,
said he'll be back in Colorado, but hopefully all is
well with him. Yeah man, And that r kelly story
kind of tripped me out. R. Kelly's lawyers are pleading

(44:58):
with President Trump because said there was a you know,
a conspiracy by authorities to intercept R. Kelly's mail and
intimidate witnesses and all that. Like, what in the world
is really going on? I don't know, But let's get
back to these calls. And because we're talking about this
young man who, oh chose his wife over his family.

(45:21):
I don't think you should have to choose, you know
what I'm saying. I think you know, when you get married,
when you're joining, you join all of that together. If
you can accept her family, she ought to be able
to accept yours. You shouldn't ever let anybody take you
away from your family, you know what I'm saying. Now
they're divorced. She took two hundred and fifty thousand dollars.
She's gone, got the house too. Broke that man down. Yeah,

(45:47):
so let's go back to the phone. See what you
guys are talking about. WD I A Hello, Hello, call
of you there?

Speaker 23 (45:56):
Hello Hey there, Hey, second might hell called in?

Speaker 1 (46:01):
We will come on in here? Hey setond time college.

Speaker 8 (46:05):
Hey, I'm just calling tell them I agree about the Maryll's.

Speaker 23 (46:08):
Both of them need to go. They running the city down.
They're not doing nothing but the city.

Speaker 1 (46:13):
Are they doing this?

Speaker 23 (46:14):
Taxi, taxes, taxes, uh, everything they touching in here, they're
destroying it. The city councils, they need to go to
school board, police chief. All black folks is running it's
city and they ann ran it down. We got the
wrong black people in office. We just need to put
the right black people in the office right now. We
got the wrong black people. Everything they have destroyed this city.

(46:36):
They not bringing nothing to this city. It's hot as
I don't know what. Kids ain't got nothing to do
in the summer. No water they are we doing to
take them to the incredbled piece and all these other
places that's very expensive. So they're not doing nothing for us.
They're just raising taxes. But there's nothing coming to this city.
So in my opinion, all of them need to go.
We need to get new electric officious of new elected

(46:58):
people that care about the city.

Speaker 21 (47:00):
And that's all I got to say.

Speaker 1 (47:01):
Thank you all right, well, thank you for calling in.
Thank you. W d I A hello.

Speaker 4 (47:08):
A Stormy, how are you hey?

Speaker 1 (47:10):
I'm good? How are you.

Speaker 4 (47:13):
Doing well?

Speaker 1 (47:14):
You know that boy that's brother, but not right there.
I'll be listening to you on stands show.

Speaker 21 (47:20):
Thank you, sorry, and you know what, I'm always I
have not always been one to tune in until I
started listening to you in the afternoon at this time.

Speaker 4 (47:31):
So yeah, I enjoy your broadcast. But on the.

Speaker 21 (47:38):
On the note, as far as the mayors, you know,
you know, and reflecting on the business and being in
politics unintentionally for a while now, and the legislature and
in turning for the mayor's office of any one of
the past administrations, you know, we need to focus more

(48:01):
on which candidates are presenting some actual solutions when they're campaigning,
you know, what what level of certainty are they getting
to when they present their their advertisements?

Speaker 4 (48:19):
Pretty much, what are their solutions?

Speaker 21 (48:23):
We get, of course, uh notoriety and popularity automatically plays
a role in it.

Speaker 4 (48:30):
But what what are what are their solutions?

Speaker 8 (48:33):
What?

Speaker 4 (48:33):
That's what we need to focus on.

Speaker 21 (48:35):
What what are the issues and concerns and then and
then pose, you know, wait and listen to what their
solutions are, because you know, there there are some promises
and some ideas, but we need concrete solutions to the issues.

Speaker 4 (48:55):
That are at hand, and I believe add on to
the it.

Speaker 21 (49:00):
You know, we need people in office that are well respected.

Speaker 4 (49:07):
You know, I believe the when the current mayor, you.

Speaker 21 (49:12):
Know, particularly in the city now, there are a lot
of people that do not respect them. You know, I
am seeing businesses, clothes and Memphis almost the things that
you know, record high and you know, they're leaving properties vacant,
they're closing.

Speaker 16 (49:28):
Up, they're going elsewhere and so on, and you know
it's a reflection of.

Speaker 4 (49:32):
A respect level. But again, if we start to focus
on what.

Speaker 21 (49:36):
The what our concerns are clearly and what and what
solutions do they bring to the table, because they need
a plan if we're gonna move forward.

Speaker 4 (49:47):
But Stormy, thank you. I enjoy your broadcast. I'll be
listening in.

Speaker 1 (49:52):
Thank you so much. So do you think you know
can do that? Especially for Shelby County because it's gonna
be a minute before we vote for a Memphis mayor,
But Shelby County mayor, how long? How long we got
is it this year that we're going to be voting?
So questioning who do y'all think can do it? And
if you don't like any of the candidates that are

(50:13):
running who who do you like? I mean, who would
you just throw in there if you could? We got
former County commissioner and businessman J. W. Gibson, Memphis City
Council member JB. Smiley, Junior Shelby County Commissioner Michel Lowry,
Harold Collins, chief Administrative Office for Shelby County and longtime

(50:34):
county employee. Then you have Shelby County Assessor Melvin Burgess.
And then today we learned Heidi Kohn is jumped in
the race. Now no nine, Now great? Everybody on the
five men are black, you know, black white males that
I know of except for Hiding, She'm jumped in there.

(50:54):
So now I'm wondering, I they might have a real
chance if I'm listening to y'all and hearing what you're
saying today, how they might have a chance?

Speaker 2 (51:07):
Hmmm?

Speaker 1 (51:08):
W d I A Hello?

Speaker 12 (51:10):
Oh I just told me you see the big picture?

Speaker 4 (51:12):
Huh?

Speaker 1 (51:15):
I'm good, Michael. How you doing doing?

Speaker 8 (51:18):
Five? First, I want to say this for all of
you folks that get in no disrespect to my elders.
Y'all get all tied up and not because we talk
about these black politicians that have been elected and I've
said this before, now keep saying it. You know, black
don't make you black. Just because we share the same

(51:39):
pain job doesn't mean we have the same agenda. A
lot of people that we put in office serves themselves
in themselves only, or they have pay masters. If they
serve y'all don't like I'm talking about the city mayor.
He got elected. He gotta come with he gotta take
the smoke. Is you got a problem with what I'm saying.

(52:00):
I got no problem taking this note.

Speaker 3 (52:01):
Let's go.

Speaker 8 (52:02):
If you're gonna talk like you have some sense, you're
gonna talk sax figures, take your ceilings out of it.

Speaker 12 (52:07):
We can have a conversation because numbers don't lie. And
when people say that they don't want to vote with the.

Speaker 8 (52:13):
People that we have you just mentioned height, the coins
jump in the race. The typical, the typical memphis of
playing to get who certain folks going in office is
you get a bunch of negros and run from the
same office. The vote gets split all.

Speaker 9 (52:29):
Kinds of ways.

Speaker 1 (52:30):
Wait a minute, so you try and tell me you
think that she might win by default.

Speaker 8 (52:37):
They have Paul Young only got twenty four thousand votes.
How many people in members. How many registered voters are
in Memphis. If you took every registering voter in North Memphis,
just North Memphis alone, you can win any race in
this city. Twenty four am not knocking Paul Young. I'm

(52:58):
knocking all of them.

Speaker 9 (53:00):
But I'm not picking on Paul y'all.

Speaker 8 (53:01):
Let me put it that way, because.

Speaker 2 (53:02):
He's not the only one.

Speaker 8 (53:04):
You take the people that we have run for office.
Black folks are no different than Trump folks. It's all
about a culture, personality, that's all it is. We vote personnelity.

Speaker 2 (53:16):
I like him.

Speaker 8 (53:17):
You've had people on the school board. I'm not gonna
pick on this person because I said this earlier. You
had people go from the school board, city council. Now
they got a clerk's office. They've been after the fool
the entire time. You said something about this person that's
a stronger. I'm tired of hearing that because all of
these strong black people y'all talking about how was our
community benefiting from it? They give up one to to

(53:41):
snap all these pictures. They make these grandiose speeches, and
they show up at everything, But when it comes to
us and black alone, twenty twenty, we had the global pandemic.
A few Asian people got attacked. They passed an ancient
hate bill. White had the White House, he had the Senity,
he had Congress. Did George fort Deild go.

Speaker 3 (54:03):
Right?

Speaker 8 (54:03):
He had the White House, he had the ground said, Senate,
what the what does the voter White deal go? You
see when certain people get office, well, we can't do it.
We would have done it, that was our plan, but
we just didn't.

Speaker 3 (54:15):
Have the vote.

Speaker 8 (54:15):
To Michael on Sari. But when other folks getting obed,
like we're gonna give a crap what you think this
one we're gonna get done, and everybody gets mad?

Speaker 4 (54:22):
What you mad for?

Speaker 8 (54:24):
They got the bullying force that they used it, They
had an agenda. Now they're working it. People are mad
at how things are with the Orange Man in office.
Orange man told you what he was gonna do when
he got there. All he's going now is doing it.
What's you're mad for? But our folks here in Memphis,

(54:45):
I mean it's a joke. The political situation. He was
a jokes.

Speaker 12 (54:47):
You name me one strong leader now if you can.

Speaker 8 (54:50):
Name of a bunch folks that a hop in front
of a camera.

Speaker 12 (54:52):
But that's what it did.

Speaker 4 (54:53):
That's what it is.

Speaker 21 (54:53):
Now.

Speaker 8 (54:54):
Everybody's black in front of a camera. And my people,
you want to sound like doctor King and all that nonsense.

Speaker 21 (55:00):
King's nonsense.

Speaker 8 (55:01):
They're nonsense because it's a joke. We're in trouble and
we don't see that. We don't see it.

Speaker 16 (55:08):
I like him, I'm both of him.

Speaker 8 (55:09):
I like her, I'm both her. That's where we were
at mm hmm. But that's maybe you say that.

Speaker 1 (55:21):
Okay, appreciation this storm it all right, Michael, Oh my goodness.

Speaker 9 (55:27):
I don't want to pressure.

Speaker 1 (55:30):
Now, but you know what you you you said something
that is so It's so true. People get elected often
because of because they have name recognition. A lot of
people vote for people that they know. They they put
their name on the ballot a specific way because they
know that people are gonna know them by that name,

(55:52):
or they want to be in a certain position on
the ballot because they it's they know that people in Memphis,
if they know who you are, they gonna vote for you.

Speaker 8 (56:02):
Right.

Speaker 1 (56:04):
That's that's just that's just kind of how it is.
And and I think it's not just Memphis. I think
it is in any in almost any race. You know,
it's it's It's almost like a popularity contest and it shouldn't.

Speaker 8 (56:17):
Be right, but we live here, so I'm concerned. It's
here and the candid that we have here, and you
can talk of the game, okay, but what's your plan?

Speaker 4 (56:28):
Yeah you can sit here now.

Speaker 8 (56:29):
Some people can get elected without a plan, Okay, but
what's your plan? This city is in trouble. This is
in trouble.

Speaker 1 (56:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (56:37):
If you sit and talking about what I'm just gonna
trust God. You trust God regardless.

Speaker 9 (56:42):
What are you gonna do?

Speaker 8 (56:43):
You get what's common sense?

Speaker 16 (56:44):
What are you gonna do with your mm?

Speaker 1 (56:47):
I got you, Michael, Thank you so much for calling now,
thank you all right, kind of giving us a little
reality check.

Speaker 24 (56:55):
Yeah, man, going to this app it's evident it's going
to winning the start here.

Speaker 1 (57:01):
How cool.

Speaker 24 (57:01):
And he's gonna win because it's why more out of them,
out of candidates black and she's the ordly white woban,
So the black warte is going to get diluted and
Whitely they're gonna win.

Speaker 1 (57:17):
Simple mm hmmm mm hmmm mm hmm. African consultant says,
Mike is right. Cold Duck County election. MS Garner says JB.
Smiley is my person. Yeah mm hmmm, all right, let's
go back to the phones. W D I A hello,

(57:44):
what's going on? Dunbar? How you doing?

Speaker 4 (57:48):
I can't call I can't call it.

Speaker 8 (57:49):
I'm doing well, doing well, good work running cases since morning.
A lot of people passed away.

Speaker 2 (57:56):
So hey, I'm not complain it.

Speaker 8 (57:58):
Oh I want to then, brother Michael Man. I'm really
becoming a fan of Michael. I know we used to
being odd, but he's absolutely correct. I've been saying that
black folks don't care what a person staying for as
long as there are a Democrat and or they black,

(58:22):
it don't matter. Probably don't matter what they're gonna do dooes,
no matter as soon as they got a D behind
their name and or their their skin is of dark melody.

Speaker 16 (58:35):
And it's sad.

Speaker 8 (58:35):
It's really sad.

Speaker 1 (58:37):
It's it's buffoonery.

Speaker 8 (58:39):
The Haddi Kohn is definitely gonna be the next county mayor,
hands down, no questions asked, because you got a lot
of people that have been in political office.

Speaker 1 (58:51):
In Memphis for years.

Speaker 8 (58:54):
Every listener I know when out they hear my voice,
they automatically turn the radio down, they turn their years off.
But can y'all name the person that out of the
people that you name that are running. If everybody would,
if they would say, okay, if the election was the
other day, I would vote for this person, and then
asked herself name or five things that that person has

(59:19):
actually done that you know of that's been a benefit
to the city. I'm not talking about lip service. I'm
talking about actually may have produced results. That's why I
teach my kids we produce results, not excuse it. Like
he said, I've said it many times infore.

Speaker 4 (59:40):
But I guess.

Speaker 8 (59:41):
It's only right when a liberal says, or let me
put a non conservatives. Wait, all you have to do
is name recognition. Think about Janine Gordon? Did she rent
her election? But then on the ballot, wasn't her name
Janina Gordon? Fully love because the name funny love carries

(01:00:02):
a lot of weight in mythics. As long as you
get that recognition, doesn't matter what you do. And then
we sit around and continually flock cry and complain about
what the white man ain't doing. But the white man
ain't in control, and limpid, it's a black man, it's
a black woman, it's people from our neighborhood, from our

(01:00:24):
families from our community that are in charge. But every
time they give a position to do something beneficial, they
never do it. There's always an excuse. Obama's second term,
first two years of in second term at a Democratic
Senate and a Democratic Congress. But yet we're still talking
about reparations every election cycle. But the black man that

(01:00:45):
was in office did absolutely nothing. But he fought like
heck for the LGBTQ community and then gave us excuses
as to why he did nothing for us, the people
that he looked like. Anyway, that's my time. We thank
you so much for taking my call. Hey, happy birthday three,

(01:01:06):
m Well what lady he called him?

Speaker 3 (01:01:08):
My man?

Speaker 8 (01:01:08):
Melvine Wander Melvin, Happy birthday. I hope you have a
great day. You and Lady p have a wonderful weekend.
Love you God, ain't king Ge. I'm still bother you
advice taking this low? Love you me all right?

Speaker 1 (01:01:19):
Love you Denver. Yeah, happy birthday to Melvin, Lady pas Man,
today's birthday today? Yeah, happy birthday Melvin. Okay, let's see,
mister Love says kudos to Michael. I'm sure that strings,
but he's speaking real deal. Holy feel that's what he saying,

(01:01:40):
let me go to the phones. W D I A Hello,
what's going on?

Speaker 2 (01:01:45):
Man?

Speaker 1 (01:01:45):
I can't call it coming?

Speaker 3 (01:01:46):
Man?

Speaker 1 (01:01:46):
How you doing? God?

Speaker 16 (01:01:50):
Michael, your brother, but not myself.

Speaker 4 (01:01:53):
I agree with them, But look, the Gaddo is married now.

Speaker 25 (01:02:00):
He said that his family was nowhere to be found
when he.

Speaker 1 (01:02:03):
Was down and out. But well no, he because he
was he alienated his family. He said, his wife need
to become on.

Speaker 19 (01:02:13):
Right.

Speaker 25 (01:02:13):
So I'm just trying to wonder, why are you surprised
if you basically turn your back against your family?

Speaker 16 (01:02:20):
You know so so, I mean, you know, talk to
yourself about that.

Speaker 2 (01:02:24):
Do you really think you can walk in and out.

Speaker 25 (01:02:26):
Of people's lives as you wish and you turn your
back on him? You know, I would never turn my
back against my family. Uh, now clarify for me, Storman.
Are you saying that the shooter that shot the lady
was that his mother?

Speaker 1 (01:02:42):
That was his mother, the shooter that shot the woman
in Alabama? Yeah?

Speaker 25 (01:02:47):
Okay, So the shooter shoots the mother being that same
person turns and shoot at the other ed his brother.

Speaker 1 (01:02:53):
Yeah, it's been the correct yes.

Speaker 25 (01:02:55):
And then the brother shoots back and shoot.

Speaker 1 (01:02:56):
Him and kills him.

Speaker 2 (01:02:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 16 (01:02:59):
Right, So well, in Tennessee, that wouldn't be he shouldn't
be charged. That would be self defenced because.

Speaker 25 (01:03:05):
He initiated the shot at him. So his life is
definitely of being threatened or in danger in Tennessee. But
you know that's a different states or lost different in
different states.

Speaker 4 (01:03:15):
But you know, I don't think he should be charged.

Speaker 1 (01:03:17):
I don't think so either, But it's going to a
grand jury.

Speaker 25 (01:03:21):
And I cannot understand why. It must be something we
don't know or maybe the laws are different. But if
I shoot at you, by all me, you got every
right to shoot back at me and try to protect
your life.

Speaker 1 (01:03:32):
And in Tennessee, like you said you, it's called self
defense or stand your ground.

Speaker 3 (01:03:37):
That's right, exactly exactly, same law, exactly. In about yesterday,
I was one hundred percent agree with what meriat It
had to say in regard to the coach in the students,
the ball players, because I feel like.

Speaker 25 (01:03:54):
Number one, I end up with my own child with
a shoot. Number two, I think that he handled that
situation in the wrong way. I think maybe he should
have waited till they got back home, back to the
school and let the school decide what should be done.
I think he was totally out of order for telling
the kids to put their pants down and and you know,

(01:04:17):
spanking or whooping them with a shoe. The kid couldn't
have been too out of order because you got to
have proper grades to.

Speaker 4 (01:04:22):
Play, you know.

Speaker 16 (01:04:24):
And I'm thinking, I'm just thinking that these were.

Speaker 3 (01:04:26):
High school students probably, Yeah, so how heck do you
take a shoe off and whoop a kid that's in
the tenth, eleven or twelfth grade.

Speaker 4 (01:04:36):
So I think he was out of order myself.

Speaker 16 (01:04:38):
Some discipline.

Speaker 3 (01:04:38):
Yes, I wouldn't have asked for his job, but maybe
he valolated something in the policy. But me myself personally,
I wouldn't have asked for a job, but some type
of you know, discipline for him too, you know.

Speaker 4 (01:04:52):
So I agree married it on that one heard percent?

Speaker 1 (01:04:54):
Okay and I'm out, all right, thank you, Tom Man.
I appreciate your calling in. Yeah, that was yesterday was
quite interesting with the coach down in Mary was it
Maryetta Georgia. Yeah, I spank the kids and the winning
coach one of the winning ists, uh a gym named
after him, and uh yeah, the mother when she spoke

(01:05:18):
to the folks on TV, she didn't even one of
her face shown out of fear of retaliation, but he
they were on a trip out of the country in
the Bahamas. Young man had a girl in the room.
He spanked him with his shoe or with a shoe.
I don't know whose shoe it was, but yeah, man,
mm hm. And y'all really talking about it, Shelby County mayor,

(01:05:42):
Who's Who's who you going, who you're rooting for, who
you think is going to win? Five black men on
the ticket now as of what today? Today? One white woman.
M all right, well back and talk about all of
this some more. Let's see Marcus Ms, Freddie WJ K

(01:06:04):
Red honest man, y'all hang on. We'll be back in
a moment. And I do have your classic TV throwback
coming up as well. National German Chocolate Kke Day. Mm
hmm Corn on the cob day. Yeah, I'm forgetful. Get
into it, Get into it, Get you some corn on
the cob and a little bit of cake today. I'm

(01:06:27):
just messing with you. Don't do it if you don't
want to, you know what. I this whole conversation about
country music. I was talking to a lady the other
day and she told me black lady, and she told
me that she loves jelly roll and jelly role sings country.
Why do why do white people find it so hard

(01:06:47):
to believe that black people like country music? I mean,
come on now, why do they find it so hard?
So much so that K Michelle out of Memphis? You know,
K Michelle out of Memphis. She shared something with this
interviewer that I didn't even know. But I want you
to listen to what Caa Michelle said in an interview.

Speaker 13 (01:07:02):
Listen to this, So talk to just for a second
about your relationship with country music, because because I feel
like we just kind of got you.

Speaker 1 (01:07:09):
You haven't. You know, you didn't. You didn't grow up
here in country music.

Speaker 13 (01:07:13):
So kind of tell people, you know, kind of introduce
yourself to him and then and then tell them, tell
them how you how you arrived in Nashville, What brought
you here?

Speaker 1 (01:07:21):
Yes, I did grow up in country music. You do
this all the time.

Speaker 26 (01:07:25):
I did grow up in country music. I'm from Memphis, Tennessee.
I got a scholarship for yoling. That's how I paid
for college.

Speaker 1 (01:07:32):
Wait a minute, y'all didn't tell me came Michelle got
a scholarship for yodeling. She didn't say for the band
or something else, for the choir, She said, yodeling. Did
y'all hear that? My start to you, to be seen.

Speaker 26 (01:07:49):
To you has been when the Judge people themselves reached
out to me to go and pay Naomi Judge tribute.
That was the first tape I ever got, and that
was love can build a bridge, And it's always been
a thing for me. I was told I could not
sing country music because I was black, but it was
something I had always been doing and will continue to do.

Speaker 1 (01:08:12):
Gone girl, she demanded, respecting that interview in such a
professional way, I'll say, yeah, don't be trying to tell
folk what they don't do. Ed, let me go to
this app because y'all are topping the app too.

Speaker 27 (01:08:28):
I have a question for Denver, the man that's fell
in love with the Orange Man, what has he done
for reparation? Is he gonna give us any money? I
don't hear him talking about that. He focused on Obama
and everybody else. Let's focus on the man that's in
there now. What is he going to do regarding reparation?

Speaker 1 (01:08:46):
M that's a good question, right then, come on here,
Miss Garner says, I like Heidi. Memphis has got problems
with people voting nowadays. Voting is extremely very low turnout.
You're right, very low. Young August says, Hey, Auntie, if
the information that's been released concerning that shooting and mobile

(01:09:09):
is accurate, the grand jury likely won't charge the sun here.
Cases like this often go to grand jury's just to
make sure that the evidence lines up from what I've heard.
The son that killed the mother suffered from mental illness.
Either way, and lady d you was right, she says,

(01:09:30):
either way. My heart goes out to that family. Shout
out to common man and Eric. I always forget when
I call in. That's young August right there. Let me
go to the phones. Back to the phones. See what
you guys are talking about today. See who's been holding
the longest. W DI I A Hello.

Speaker 22 (01:09:49):
Hello, call of you there? Hello, Hello, Hello, oh goodbye?
W d A Hello, Hello day.

Speaker 8 (01:10:04):
How you been doing.

Speaker 1 (01:10:05):
I've been good, mister w J How you doing of
this sign?

Speaker 12 (01:10:09):
Listen, I ain't not gonna hold it long. A lot
of people talking, he said, because gentlemen said some good stuff.
When I look at that young man Pearson, just do
all this stuff about the air and stuff like this.
He's talking from his heart and he's even wearing the
hairstyle that we need to look at.

Speaker 2 (01:10:31):
He's for real.

Speaker 8 (01:10:33):
If they never come here, pre.

Speaker 2 (01:10:34):
Mayor, he's gonna change this city, do you think? So
you know he's baking.

Speaker 12 (01:10:40):
Okay, he's real from his heart, and I can tell
the way he's speaking about it, the way he's.

Speaker 16 (01:10:45):
Talking, I don't know where a young man from his
a he's.

Speaker 12 (01:10:48):
Got the kind of way of swaying and talking the
way he talks and people he's got it, and even
wearing the hairstyle.

Speaker 2 (01:11:00):
So I just want to say that.

Speaker 12 (01:11:01):
And I think everybody else is calling to talk about
these people that's going to be mayor. And first I
think it's all about the money. Everybody's running for the money.
And then we got this guy got us put in
the door with all this money, trying to do his business.
We're thinking maybe we can get some of the millions
out of That's what that's all about.

Speaker 3 (01:11:18):
And we know that.

Speaker 1 (01:11:22):
Okay, thank you, m m all right, mister w J.
He said something. There's a lot of people probably thinking,
you know what I'm saying. Okay, that's right, thank you,
all right, you're welcome, thank you for calling in. Appreciate
you w.

Speaker 4 (01:11:34):
D I a hello, Yes, indeed starting greed.

Speaker 1 (01:11:38):
Greetings and salutations. Marcus. How you doing.

Speaker 4 (01:11:41):
I'm doing great?

Speaker 8 (01:11:43):
You know again I say something and he said, there's
black folks running the running men pieces, but is actually
it's not black folks, it's white folks running.

Speaker 16 (01:11:54):
You see, hmm, you give it's pleaded, you know.

Speaker 8 (01:11:59):
You see, white are only one nine at the world speculation.
That means every one in nine people in.

Speaker 4 (01:12:07):
The world is white.

Speaker 8 (01:12:08):
So they are actually a minority and the planet. However,
in America they are a majority. So in all that
for them to rule, they most recruit from the same
group that they oppress. You see, So I us recruit
some black folks and put them in place. I said,

(01:12:31):
so you have black fears and white power. That's how
it is. You say, that's the tricknology the Plato.

Speaker 4 (01:12:39):
But they do it globally.

Speaker 16 (01:12:41):
It's not just here in them fist.

Speaker 2 (01:12:43):
They do it.

Speaker 28 (01:12:43):
They do it.

Speaker 8 (01:12:44):
We are from in Jamaica. It's the same setup, the
same setup. You got black fears and white power. You
see they do it in Africa. You see, so and
then do it they trick you know se. Then they're
coming and they bring Oh, we're gotta bring aid to you.

Speaker 4 (01:13:02):
We've gotta bring your food.

Speaker 1 (01:13:03):
We've gotta bring you this.

Speaker 8 (01:13:05):
While they are the ones who have the puppet. He
said he had the black puppet out front dancing and
then the white folks come. I said, oh, we're bringing
you a and thing. So when you cover, say, you
know what, these white people gottu the people what.

Speaker 1 (01:13:18):
You're talking about?

Speaker 8 (01:13:19):
These people feeding us, they getting clear of us. These
people are sticking on. These white folks are stupid. They
ain't been running this year for five hundred years being
stupid there. But there is always a slip between the.

Speaker 2 (01:13:35):
Cup and the lip.

Speaker 8 (01:13:37):
But I tell you, I said, III going to be
the next He's gonna have Harris' job because we do
this foolishes.

Speaker 4 (01:13:44):
All the time.

Speaker 3 (01:13:45):
We do it all the time.

Speaker 8 (01:13:46):
You get five six black folks and get one white
person come in and they win. They say we just
we sabotage and were saying, we do foolishness and we
gotta stop it. We gotta really stop you going on
somebody the next satan tree. I'm telling you any read
stopping you'll take care of.

Speaker 1 (01:14:04):
Talk to you very much, marcaus, thank you for calling
in appreciate your call. W d I A Hello, Hello, Hello,
calling you there? Hmmm, caller, are you there? One more time?
Going once twice and we're out of here. W d

(01:14:29):
I A Hello, Hey son, Hey there, How are you
all right?

Speaker 2 (01:14:34):
I'm going I believe that guy was talking about UH
US and UH.

Speaker 28 (01:14:39):
Basically creating a system for ourselves and stop supporting the
system that's.

Speaker 2 (01:14:43):
Keeping us down.

Speaker 28 (01:14:44):
Say we constantly keeping these people rich. If you get reparations,
what you're gonna do with it?

Speaker 8 (01:14:49):
You're gonna go and buy a.

Speaker 28 (01:14:49):
Big screen TV, a big big call car, big wheels
on it, uh nicet shoes and everything and brow.

Speaker 2 (01:14:56):
All that, and then you still want something else.

Speaker 4 (01:14:57):
See.

Speaker 2 (01:14:58):
But I've said this open over with out.

Speaker 28 (01:15:01):
A lack of communication where we don't communicate with one
another other than on this radio, we're not talking.

Speaker 4 (01:15:06):
To each other.

Speaker 2 (01:15:07):
We're basically talking to the host. But the fact of
the matter is, if you don't communicate one.

Speaker 28 (01:15:11):
Another, you do not trust one another. And when you
do not trust one another, it ain't no unity. And
we got to build a foundation as far as the
our econtomy ourselves, stop buying them and and creating stuff
up if you live up black history.

Speaker 2 (01:15:27):
Uh, actually you see all of the stuff that.

Speaker 28 (01:15:30):
The black men's and black women has created.

Speaker 2 (01:15:33):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 28 (01:15:34):
You probably didn't know that a black woman created the computer,
but a guy misses on our on the navy ship
before uh it could communicate with one.

Speaker 2 (01:15:42):
Another before the internet coming out. We don't, We don't know.
You know what I'm saying, But this is what we
need to do with be our economy.

Speaker 28 (01:15:51):
It starts supporting one another and stop.

Speaker 2 (01:15:54):
Acting like you got more than I got. You black
just like I'm black.

Speaker 28 (01:15:58):
And it ain't no sense and acting like when I
when you see me, I'm a black man. You skied
already call some of a black man. And that's what's
happening in our community. And it's the system that's putting
us together, putting us against one of the others, that
caused us to be divided and distrust each other.

Speaker 8 (01:16:12):
To keep us trusting them.

Speaker 28 (01:16:13):
We are the economy base for them. The company been
rich and like the man sat a minute ago, it's
all over the world, like like market said, it's all
over the world. All these folking participators in slavery.

Speaker 2 (01:16:25):
Uh, friends, friends. Uh I been sold there. Uh over
there where megan marketing?

Speaker 28 (01:16:32):
Was that over there they were so mad when slavery
was going on and stuff that they wanted to start
a war because they couldn't get some slaves. And when
they when they did get some slaves, they similed down everything.
But some of the servants over there, black black lady
was on the on the level saying that they treat
them like slaves or there now where they're working in

(01:16:52):
the kissing and stuff, they talk to them like they.

Speaker 2 (01:16:54):
Ain't nothing over there.

Speaker 28 (01:16:56):
And so that's why they want to make mark bill
being over there being no princes or nothing like that,
because they know how they feel about black folks. So
see all of this stuff here and there? And then
what market I mean what not market? But our uh
this night in Denver, why comeing? He gets so angry
and mad when you say something about Donald Trump. That's
like this, the watch said on mathematic movie mathall we

(01:17:19):
seek today we ain't seek to masthaw sis. And when
we talk about Trump, he is like we talking about him.
I mean, you know, man, if you ain't got something.

Speaker 2 (01:17:27):
Party to say for your own people, you just need
to sell their hunt. You know what I'm saying. It
don't make no sense.

Speaker 1 (01:17:33):
And he get real mad.

Speaker 2 (01:17:35):
I mean he he could hear it in his voice.
He angered because you say something by Trump. You know,
Trump ain't doing it for other folk. The Democrats didn't
do much of nothing either, but they have not better
than Trump or so, you know.

Speaker 28 (01:17:46):
But we get out of thanking, you know, we're gonna
have to depend on neither one of the system.

Speaker 2 (01:17:50):
Yeah, that's that's my take on that song.

Speaker 1 (01:17:52):
All right, thank you so much for calling in. I
appreciate you calling.

Speaker 2 (01:17:56):
Yes, ma'am.

Speaker 1 (01:17:57):
All right, abiye it uh. You guys are tapping the app.
Let me go back to the app when your election
time called. Don't vote for people just because of their reputation.

Speaker 8 (01:18:07):
If you dissatisfied with the politician, will come election time
vote them out of there.

Speaker 4 (01:18:14):
And like they said, it'd always be a bunch of
euth running to split the vote.

Speaker 1 (01:18:18):
Mm hmmmmmmmm interesting. W D I A Hello, call you there. Okay,
I'm gonna have to let them go because I don't
know what's going on. W D I A Hello, Hey Stormy,
t Hey, miss Freddy.

Speaker 2 (01:18:37):
How you doing all right?

Speaker 17 (01:18:39):
How you doing?

Speaker 1 (01:18:40):
I'm doing good?

Speaker 17 (01:18:42):
Okay, right quick. I missed what you and Lady did
were speaking about earlier.

Speaker 1 (01:18:48):
Was it about.

Speaker 17 (01:18:51):
Y'all talking and she said, I don't have to deal
with that.

Speaker 1 (01:18:55):
Something like that, Miss Freddy has been so long ago.
I don't know.

Speaker 17 (01:19:00):
That's okay, that's all right. But what I want to
tell you I want to win Harryo a happy but
lady birthday. I heard he had a birthday.

Speaker 1 (01:19:10):
What a King Harryo.

Speaker 17 (01:19:12):
Yeah that's what I heard.

Speaker 1 (01:19:13):
Yeah, happy birthday, King harry Yo.

Speaker 17 (01:19:16):
Happy birthday, King Harryo. And also today is Lady p
my man Melbourne birthday, Melbourne happy birthday. And I know
something's going to tell you. Oh, check that menu out
I got on the web page.

Speaker 1 (01:19:33):
I'll do it. Check it out.

Speaker 17 (01:19:35):
Okay, thank you, Miss all right, good afternoon.

Speaker 4 (01:19:38):
You too all.

Speaker 1 (01:19:41):
Thank you for calling them. It's hey, Red. How you doing.

Speaker 4 (01:19:44):
How you doing so?

Speaker 1 (01:19:44):
I'm doing good, doing good.

Speaker 21 (01:19:47):
No, I just want to come in about like talking
about the kids over out of the country where they
called a young girl in their.

Speaker 2 (01:19:54):
Room or something like that.

Speaker 1 (01:19:55):
Oh the coach down in the Bahamas, that was that's
thanked the boys because one of them was caught with
a girl in the room. Yeah right.

Speaker 21 (01:20:06):
Let me you know what, I don't think the corporate
punishment should have happened, but it should have been some
kind of punishment because there's a lot of young guys
and girls go go out of the country and they
ended up getting caught up, some of them ended up
getting killed, some of them ended up having to serve
a lot of time. So there should have been some
kind of punishment, you know, to let them know in

(01:20:28):
case they go again, that they won't make that same mistake.

Speaker 1 (01:20:32):
I bet you he won't make that same mistake, even
though you know, the one of the children, the mother
took him out that school, But I bet you won't.

Speaker 15 (01:20:37):
Do that again.

Speaker 4 (01:20:39):
Yeah, absolutely right.

Speaker 21 (01:20:40):
And I got another thing I want to touch on
we were talking about yesterday.

Speaker 4 (01:20:44):
I tried to get in.

Speaker 2 (01:20:44):
You were talking about the neighbor with the fence.

Speaker 4 (01:20:48):
You know, Well, a couple of years ago, my neighbor.

Speaker 21 (01:20:51):
And I share a tree off we have the privacy fence. Yeah,
and it's been basically in both of our gods. So
when I got home and the tree lamb, they fell,
and the knocked her cable and all of that stuff out,
and she she she was like when I came home,
she was, you know, calling me and telling her, Hey, look,

(01:21:11):
we need to do something about this tree now.

Speaker 8 (01:21:13):
You know.

Speaker 21 (01:21:14):
So when I saw some guys working down the street
on trees, and I went over there and we negotiated
a price, so, you know, saying she was saying we,
I'm thinking that, you know, we'll split the bill. So
after the goud finished with the tree and took the
tree down and haulered away and I paid them, you know,
and then I tried.

Speaker 4 (01:21:32):
To call her and she did not answer the phone.

Speaker 2 (01:21:35):
Wow, she looked like the right next door to me.

Speaker 21 (01:21:39):
Her husband passed away a few years ago, and you
know what, I kind of looked out for her because
she's right next door to me. You know, when people
parked in front of her house or anything like that,
always called her and made sure everything is all right. Yeah,
you know, and that lady did not answer the phone.

Speaker 4 (01:21:55):
And let me touch on one more thing. Yeah, yeah,
I'm going to get this on.

Speaker 21 (01:22:01):
This guy always called in and talk about what people did.

Speaker 2 (01:22:05):
He never called in and talk about all.

Speaker 21 (01:22:07):
Of this stuff mister orange Bound did before he got
became president. After he became president, and the second time,
all this stuff he's doing. He don't never have a
problem with anything this man has done. I don't care
what it is. He doesn't have a problem with him,
you know, trying to erase black history, you know what
taking I mean, this man, he just doesn't have a problem. Well,

(01:22:32):
you know, I've always heard ever people say how many
lives do a cat have?

Speaker 1 (01:22:36):
Nine?

Speaker 21 (01:22:38):
Well, den Ro, I'll just letting you know God inspired
you more than nine. It's time for you, man, and
stop worshiping that man and find your God to worship,
because you can't find a God. You can't be worshiping
God when you're worshiping this man. We is people, that's
Democrats and Republicans.

Speaker 4 (01:22:56):
We do not worship a party.

Speaker 21 (01:22:58):
We vote for a party and we hope that they'll
do the right thing for us.

Speaker 4 (01:23:02):
We do not worship for Kennedy.

Speaker 1 (01:23:04):
I got your rid Listen, listen. I hate to rush
you off, but I gotta run because I got to
get to this classic TV throwback.

Speaker 21 (01:23:10):
Okayking my call.

Speaker 1 (01:23:11):
No, you're welcome. Thank you for making that call. Appreciate you.
