I am curious on this Friday, how many of you
have gardens? Are we going back to that, because I'm
noticing like a lot of people talking about gardens and
a lot of people talking about, you know, trying to
teach you how to do a garden and all that
good stuff. Now, I grew up off of garden. My family,

my mom and my daddy were sharecroppers. I didn't even
know that was the title until recently when I had
to go to Camden, Arkansas to speak and I was
talking to my friends and telling them what my parents
did when I was growing up, and they were like,
your parents were sharecroppers. I was like, what, how fabulous
is that? At any rate? I ain't planted the thing?

And you would think I would do that, you know
what I'm saying. You think, But I'm gonna get into it.
I'm gonna get into it even if I have to
build me something in the back with the composts?

Whatever you mix in there to get everything to grow?
Do y'all have a garden or y'all growing stuff as well?
I wanted, are you growing anything? Is that what we're
going to because I think I actually think it's good.
It's better for us if we're growing our own stuff.
And sometimes when you eat people's food that you know
there's growing their own stuff in their own garden, that

stuff tastes better than the stuff you buy in the store,
you know, because when you're doing it yourself, you know
what you're doing, you know what you put in there
and all that and you need and I imagine it
feels really good too when you get to taste something
that you grow. And you know, they say something about
people that like to be in the yard and in
the garden all the time. You want to know what

they say to say, You're gonna live longer, that's what
they say. So that might be something that some of
you want to get into. If you don't, you know,
if you're not into it, maybe it's something that you
want to get into doing a.

I'm curious that y'all see it, and did you see
the video because I've been looking for the video. So

where the Memphis police officer hopped into that man's car
and got a ride.

While they were chasing a suspect. Did you see that?

Yeah, the video is on social media. It showed multiple
MPD officers chasing a suspect during a foot chase, and
one officer can be seen slowing down.

From a jog and then walking.

In The video showed the police officer in the backseat
of a man's car. First thing I thought about when
I saw this, I was like, he must think he's
one of the bad boys or something, you know the movie.

I mean, what in the world is going on here?

The Memphis Police Department, well, our news partner Fox thirteen,
they were told that the officers, including the one who
got a ride, were chasing thirty one year old Christopher Green,
wanted for a theft of property between two thousand to
ten thousand dollars, attempted theft of property and all that stuff.

Anyway, they were after that man. And the officer in.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
The video they say, is not gonna face any disciplinary action,
but if it's anything like it is on TV. After
you go viral on social media, the chiefs on TV
they call you and they say, let me see what
was the officer's name. I don't know if I can
figure out what the opposite Green did I say it was?

His name was Green.

Now Green is the one that was in trouble. M
Christopher Green out there stealing and stuff. Whoever the officer,
let's see, let's say the officer's name is Whitlock.

As soon as he gets back to the station, you
know that the chief has already seen it. He's looking
at the video and he's Whitlock walks in the door
and he says, Whitlock, I'm my office. Now that's how
he do it in the movies. I mean, I don't know,
but this police officer, I would love to talk to him.

to see a few changes to their work schedule. The
utility company is implementing a trial run of a four day,
ten hour work week. Is that something that you would

announced an ordinance that he's taken to the city Council
that would turn revenue from x AI into investments for Memphians.

and accusations about made without you know, being rooted in fact,

balance the conversation. Do we want that money or do
