Speaker 1 (00:00):
Everybody is welcome at the house that Stormy is building.
You have wanted to say something like that to to somebody,
You're like, they look at you like what I know.
I know that's probably how you guys looked at your radio.
Uh uh uh huh. Ain't no cults going on over here.
(00:23):
I was looking at somebody said, you know, Elon Musk
was talking about this new party that he's that he's got,
and somebody said, it sound like a cult to me.
I'm like, what'll y'all be saying some stuff? Y'all be
saying some stuff just like I did just a second ago.
But anyway, for real, for real, though, Happy Tuesday. I
(00:44):
hope that today is going good for you. I really do.
I really do.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
So.
Speaker 1 (00:49):
I wanted to share something with you guys, because I
know that a lot of you have a life going on.
And I saw something yesterday and I said, I got
to talk to them about it. I need to talk
to them about it. H Now, I don't even see it,
but I really I want to talk to you about it.
When I find it, I will talk to you about it.
(01:10):
There are some things that happen when you get a
little older. There's some things. Did you know that there's
some things that happen And I know we've I feel
like we've talked about this before, we've these things before.
But when I saw these things, I said, you know what,
this is a good list. This is this is right,
(01:33):
This is so true because the older I get, the
more I see myself in this list, and uh, I
gotta find it because it's it's so good and I
don't see it now anyway. We'll get back to that
in a second. We'll get back to that in a second.
Did y'all see what Elon Musk posted on social media?
(01:55):
Is always something and I just talked to you about
it in the tee, But what do y'all think about it?
He said? How can people be expected to have faith
in Trump if he won't release the Epstein files? Mm
hmm mmm, Because they say there's I told y'all yesterday,
(02:17):
they say there's no files, there's no list. But come
on now, now see now see now, somebody know what's
going on with that list. Somebody knows. Somebody knows, and
somebody somebody one day to go slip and tells I'm
here for it. I want to know because there were
rumors about You know some of the people that people
(02:38):
thought was was on those lists, and I'm not gonna
mention those names. But y'all heard the same rumors I did.
I'm sure you did it. Sure you heard the same
rumors I did. And so what did they say? What
Jane's fully Love you used to say? It was a
dead cat on the line. Huh huh, yeah, man, But hey,
it's life. It's life, y'all getting rain where y'all are,
(03:01):
because I think I think we're getting a little bit
of rain around here. So I'm just gonna give you
a warning now. If you call and you end up
on that chipmunk line, Hey, I warned you. I told
you try, I tell you it happens. But you sure
will give us a good key key today if you
do end up on it. Okay, you will. I've been
(03:22):
seeing some news about some things happening in here in
Memphis and breaking my heart. I'm sure it's breaking yours
as well. I saw Otis Sandford, y'all. Remember ODIs Sandford
set in for BEV one day and he posted this
about an hour ago. He said, as I was driving
home a minute ago, I heard the Teddy Pendergrass song.
(03:43):
Somebody told me to deliver this message based on a
verse from the Book of Proverbs twenty five thirteen in
a journalism since Karanja Angenoux, and y'all tell me if
I'm saying his name wrong. Karanja Angenoux. I've met him
several times, and I always had a tough time pronouncing
(04:05):
his name. Always a kind man. I remember when Kamala
Harris came to Memphis. She came to Memphis for the
for Tyree Nichols funeral services, and I remember him being
there with us as we waited for Kamala Harris to
come because we were all supposed to have an opportunity
(04:25):
to speak to her. That didn't happen because she was
actually late. But we did get a chance to see
her getting in the plane getting back on the plane
as she was leaving. Now they bust us all down there,
and you know, we thought we would, you know, we're
gonna be able to sit down with her, but her
plans changed. But again we did give a chance to
you know, be around her as she was at the
(04:46):
funeral services that day. But he was he was there,
He was there with us, and so ODIs Sanford goes
on to say, my friend of forty eight years was
that faithful messenger Teddy and proverb speak about Karanja died
this morning and my heart is broken. Good journalism has
(05:07):
lost another foot soldier, but Karanja will be long remembered
by those who knew, loved and admired him. Rest well,
my brother. I believe at one point, I'm not sure
if he was still doing it, but at one point
he was working for the Tri State Defender. So my
(05:28):
prayers and heart goes out to those folks that are
mourning right now, like Otis Sandford and others that are
mourning the loss of mister Karanja Angenoux Ajanaku. That's what
it is, Karanja ajanaqu And I again, I could be
(05:49):
mispronouncing it slightly. Y'all forgive me for that. And like
I said, I always had a tough time with his name.
Now see another post on social media talking about him now,
people saying how they're completely crushed that he is no
longer with us. Van Turner I think is Van Turner
(06:09):
still with the local chapter of the NAACP. I'm sure
he's still a member, but he posted about him. Doctor
Kia Connorway saw her posting about him as well. So
Memphis has lost a good one. Yeah, all right, let's
get to it. Back to it. Some things that are
happening around here, some things that I've been seeing in
(06:33):
the news. I'm sure you guys have been seeing some
things as well. You know, I was looking at what
happened at the Guadaloupe River down in Texas, And did
you guys know that there was a flood in nineteen
eighty seven there as well. Now, that flood killed I
believe ten people, ten young people that were at a
(06:55):
camp down down there in Texas at the Guadalupe River
nineteen eighty seven. So now this whole thing that's still
happening is bringing up the memory of what already happened
in that area. There was a bus that was trying
to leave out with young people on the bus, and
I believe they got caught in the water, and just
(07:18):
like this, similar to this, rather this latest story as
to what's happening down there, similar to it, young people
were in trees, you know they yeah, yeah, my thoughts
and yeah, we're praying for those folks down there, definitely,
And a lot of folks want to do something to
(07:38):
help people. I did see where you can go. There's
some places that you can go, like the Community Foundation
of the Texas Hill Country United Way of Greater Houston,
Texas Children's Hospital. There are places, I'm sure locally that
(08:01):
you can go to, and I have not had a
chance to see. I haven't seen any stories about, you know,
where people can go to locally. I do see where
the Arkansas National Guard is headed that way. I'm sure
there are some people from Memphis that are headed that
way as well to help the people down there in Texas. So, yeah,
(08:26):
I told you yesterday about the young girl that the
family in Memphis. There was one person that we know
of that was there, and that child is safe and
with her family. But I'm sure, man, it's gonna be
a minute before she kind of, you know, gets herself
back together from that situation. Yeah, a lot going on,
(08:47):
a whole lot going on. But I'm gonna I do
have a question for you. I do have a question.
Let me let me send a shout out to the CEO,
Rich Paul of Clutch Sports. He's the founder of that.
He's from Memphis, y'all, and he talked about something that
I think a lot of young people don't think about
maybe you know, hearing this story and his story, I
(09:10):
saw it on c n BC Rich Paul straight out
of Memphis. He's dressing on a lot of celebrities and
all that, and he said there's one thing that employees
need to stand out, one thing. One thing he believes
they need to have a there's no limit to what
(09:30):
they can do attitude. A there's no limit to what
they can do attitude. I agree. I've been hearing a
lot of young people on social media talking about, you know,
how to that one of the keys for them is
(09:50):
sometimes you have to be delusional. I guess people would
say that it's delusional if you have faith to do something.
You know, if you decide one day, I'm going to
give me a job, I'm going to give me a job.
I'm gonna get this job and work this job, and
it's gonna be a good job. I'll have a you know,
I'm gonna make some money at this job, and I'm
gonna do my best at this job to be the
best I can be at this job. That's kind of
(10:10):
I feel like what he's talking about, there's no limit
to what you can do. Attitude and then you know
the other thing you add to that is and when
I get on this job, I'm gonna do so good
that I'm gonna become the manager or I think. I
think this is me. I don't know about you, but
I think you're never too young or too old to
(10:31):
have goals. I was talking to one of my girlfriends
on the phone and I was telling her that I
was talking to uh, one of my one of my bosses,
and they were they asked me, something you know about
my goal for this job, and I told them what
I what my goal was. And then I went home
and looked at my notepad because I like to write
my goals and my plans and what I want to do.
(10:53):
I like to write them down. And I looked at
my notepad and there it was the same thing I
told her was written down on page. So wow, sometimes
you can speak those things into existence. I believe that.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
Now.
Speaker 1 (11:06):
I don't know about you. You speak it enough. What
happens is you start believing it and then you get
out there and you do it. Young people, I just
think that might be one of the things that they're missing,
and especially a lot of folks don't like themselves a
lot of folks. You can say what you won't do,
you say won't through, but a lot of folks don't
like who they are. We we gotta And I've heard
people call this show and say that that black people
(11:28):
have we don't have an issue with self esteem. We
don't like ourselves. Why is that? Some of it? I
believe we've been programmed to feel that way because of
the images that we've seen of ourselves on ourselves on
television and you know, some of the stuff that we've
read over the years. But you are not what you
(11:49):
read about. You don't have to be there, be who
you won't. To young person, if there's a young person
that's listening to me today, know that you can do
what you want to do. You ain't got mm mmm.
Don't let them define you. Don't do it. Don't do it.
Don't let people define you. Yeah, yeah, don't let them
(12:15):
define you. Okay, I got a question, and I'm want
to share some other things with you as well as
we continue on, because there were some other things and
I really want to find this list. I don't know
where it went, but I had a list about when
you become a little older, some things that happen when
you become a little older, and I really want to
know if y'all agree with it, because I do. And
(12:38):
I cannot find that list for nothing in the world,
but I'm gonna find it and we're gonna talk about it.
Just give me, give me a little bit of your time.
It's coming. But my question for today, this person needs
some advice. They got a friend who's got a huge,
huge following on social media, and so every now and
then these questions are out there, and I thought, I'm
gonna let me ask this question to some people on
(12:58):
this station and see what they think about it. A
friend of theirs needed some advice, says, my wife will
not sign for a car for me. She has a
seven hundred and forty credit score while mine is five twelve.
(13:19):
I pay all the bills and even the twenty one
hundred dollars mortgage, but for the life of me, I
can't get her to sign for this twenty five thousand
dollars truck. I need a car, not onet I uber
to work, and sometimes she won't even let me drive
(13:43):
her car. If I stop paying bills, maybe that'll get
her attention. I spend two hundred dollars a week on uber.
Oh my goodness, two hundred dollars a week. That's eight
hundred dollars a month. That's less than a car payment. Well,
that's more than a car payment. A car payment would
(14:03):
be less for twenty five thousand dollars com unless you
try to pay it off early. You know what I'm saying.
So then he says, what should I do? Should I
leave my eggs? Even volunteered to co sign for me,
But I don't want to disrespect my marriage. I'm all
out of options. What should I do?
Speaker 2 (14:27):
Wow?
Speaker 1 (14:29):
That's loaded right there. Oh, help him brother out, Help
him out. All right, I'm going to get to the phones.
And you guys are already tapping in on the iHeartRadio app.
I'll get there too. You guys are already emailing. I've
seen you. I'm trying to get to your emails. Haven't
been able to see him yet. But nine on one
five three, five, nine three four two eight hundred five
(14:50):
zero three nine three four two eight three three five
three five nine three four two those are the numbers
to get at me. Let's go to the phones. WDA, Hello, Hello, are.
Speaker 4 (15:01):
You talking to miss Close?
Speaker 1 (15:02):
I am talking to miss clot, Are you doing, Miss Clot?
Speaker 4 (15:06):

I'm both tell you I'm living my best life out.
I turned seventy four.
Speaker 5 (15:13):
I'm doing wonderful.
Speaker 1 (15:14):
What happy birthday? Tell y'all.
Speaker 4 (15:16):
I'm straight, Yes, indeed, I just wanted to tell you
y'all was doing a great job. I done hit all
three shows today, but I wanted to Yeah, I just
wanted to tell you I'm living my best life. L
I SD living in fullness every day.
Speaker 1 (15:33):
I know that's right.
Speaker 4 (15:35):
All right, I'll let you the next time.
Speaker 1 (15:39):
Well, thank you, miss Cloth. I'm so glad you called in,
and I'm so glad you're living your best life at
seventy four.
Speaker 4 (15:45):
Yes, wow, Yes, sending Lord that light in that strength
my way, and we're gonna make it right. I turn
to you later.
Speaker 5 (15:55):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (15:55):
I talked to you later when we could talk strangers.
Speaker 1 (15:58):
I know that's right, Thank you, Miss Clothes.
Speaker 6 (16:01):
Thank you all right, have a good way.
Speaker 1 (16:03):
Thank you for checking all right?
Speaker 7 (16:05):
Bye?
Speaker 1 (16:06):
Bye? Oh m's close. Come on now, w d I
a hello?
Speaker 2 (16:13):
What are you doing? Stormy? How you doing?
Speaker 1 (16:14):
Hey? I'm doing good, Jackson, And how are you you
know I'm doing I'm doing pretty good. I'm just up
in here working.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
You know, it's a main's world. It's not hope. You understand.
It's a mains world.
Speaker 1 (16:30):
It always is to you, ain't it. Jackson?
Speaker 3 (16:34):
Yeah, that to that question or whatever that you he
came up with.
Speaker 6 (16:47):
No, I'm sorry.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
The guys should leave.
Speaker 1 (16:51):
You know what, if you can dish it. If you
can dish it, you ought to be able to do.
Speaker 2 (16:57):
When I talk now.
Speaker 1 (17:01):
You know you were supposed to say, okay, hey, hey, hey,
that's what you were supposed to do. Come about you, Jackson.
Speaker 2 (17:07):
Yeah, I've been done. To the weather.
Speaker 1 (17:08):
Oh, I'm sorry, it's already hear that.
Speaker 8 (17:11):
Yeah, I was in the I was out Friday in
the heat and then I got out the air conditioner
and it felt good.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
But I paid for it in the morning.
Speaker 6 (17:22):
Any anyway, he should leave for a season.
Speaker 8 (17:27):
Because the Bible says it's okay to separate when you're married,
but you could only get divorced if death occurs, or
the other person commits adultery, cheating or domestic or domestic violence.
Not cheating, not just cheating, adultery.
Speaker 1 (17:51):
Same thing. And if he's cheating, if he's cheating and
he's married. He's committing adultery.
Speaker 2 (17:57):
No, no, no, he didn't not turn sex cheap.
Speaker 1 (18:01):
Ah, I get it now.
Speaker 3 (18:03):
And why did you say here?
Speaker 1 (18:07):
Because it's always.
Speaker 2 (18:08):
A he Women cheat more than men.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
That a that a go.
Speaker 2 (18:15):
A woman could sleep with one.
Speaker 3 (18:18):
Hundred men today and then one hundred tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (18:23):
But a man can't do that.
Speaker 8 (18:27):
Dad a go once he has relationships with the one
woman he had to recuperate. So women, women do it
more than men. They're slicking slot.
Speaker 2 (18:47):
So so.
Speaker 1 (18:49):
You know what, I got a friend. I got a friend,
No likee, I got a friend who was cheating. He
had two babies in one year by two different women,
same year. What did you say about that?
Speaker 2 (19:03):
That's the only way it could happen. Yeah, okay, go ahead.
Speaker 1 (19:06):
What do you say about that?
Speaker 3 (19:09):
Well, you know, as long as he can take care
of them or the women are okay, teach his own.
But but a woman, Men and women are.
Speaker 1 (19:24):
Different, absolutely absolutely.
Speaker 3 (19:28):
So women have no business playing in the field because
they fall in.
Speaker 2 (19:34):
Love and all that, you know.
Speaker 8 (19:35):
And yeah, but a man can sleep with this woman
today and not even know her name tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
That is so sad. That is so sad. That you
would you would confess that about men. That is so sad.
And you are absolutely right women, And thank you for
taking up for us because we don't cheat.
Speaker 2 (19:59):
Don't cheat.
Speaker 3 (20:02):
And he said you said that, uh uh.
Speaker 2 (20:07):
You can't be too old to have goals.
Speaker 1 (20:09):
Huh yeah. I don't think you're ever too old to
have goals and dreams and both things.
Speaker 2 (20:14):
A forty year old stripper.
Speaker 3 (20:18):
Should not be thinking about stripping.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
I'll feel Let you go, bye, Jacksoney, you get on
here now, I gotta go. I got people hanging out
miss Coachley is Wade.
Speaker 8 (20:34):
A sixty old man should have no business with a
twenty one year old girl.
Speaker 2 (20:39):
It's just too late.
Speaker 1 (20:42):
What kind of goals you got?
Speaker 2 (20:44):
What?
Speaker 1 (20:45):
Bye?
Speaker 9 (20:45):
Jackson?
Speaker 1 (20:46):
Bye?
Speaker 2 (20:47):
I have a good one.
Speaker 1 (20:49):
Wait wait, you got to do it your signature clothes?
Speaker 2 (20:53):
Child?
Speaker 1 (20:54):
Uh oh w d I a hello?
Speaker 5 (21:02):
Hey? Storm?
Speaker 7 (21:03):
And how were you?
Speaker 5 (21:04):
Honey?
Speaker 1 (21:05):
I don't know. After I just got through talking to Jackson,
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (21:11):
Well, Obama say, you'll be all right.
Speaker 1 (21:13):
I know that's right.
Speaker 7 (21:17):
I'm glad you had a good time you were away.
Speaker 1 (21:20):
I am too. I had a good time.
Speaker 8 (21:22):
Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 7 (21:24):
As far as the uh, the man to spend the
money under uber. What you need to do is continue
to be weak and spend that money every week.
Speaker 10 (21:38):
I mean, if you.
Speaker 7 (21:40):
Can't figure it out, then that's on him.
Speaker 1 (21:44):
I didn't see that coming.
Speaker 9 (21:47):
Yes, because you know that and you're.
Speaker 7 (21:48):
Married to you can't figure it out?
Speaker 5 (21:52):
You, I mean.
Speaker 7 (21:53):
You ain't you would, That's that's ridiculous.
Speaker 6 (21:58):
Mmmmmm what do he say?
Speaker 1 (22:01):
Ain't hiding picked?
Speaker 3 (22:02):
Just being picked right here?
Speaker 11 (22:04):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (22:05):
Yeah, I know some kind of way that you can
compromise about something.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
So you just sit.
Speaker 7 (22:11):
There and do what you do and keep spending your
money and pay all the bill.
Speaker 1 (22:18):
You know, when I hear questions, when I hear ms kosher,
when I hear questions like that, always wonder what they're
leaving out, because if it were my husband, I would
sign for him, especially if if everything he says is true.
I couldn't see myself not doing that. But it makes
me see something's Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Something's being
(22:41):
left out. Is he wrecking all the cars that he gets?
Because how is he cardless? You know what I'm saying? So,
and why is your car? Why is your credit score
five to twelve? And you paying the rent? I mean
you're paying so something something, something's not yeah, saying.
Speaker 7 (23:00):
To be of just something in the bank, tomatoes.
Speaker 6 (23:02):
Now you go continue.
Speaker 1 (23:04):
With your uber and and and do what you do.
Speaker 6 (23:07):
Mm hmm that's what he needs to do.
Speaker 7 (23:12):
Okay, I talk to you later, all.
Speaker 1 (23:14):
Right, Miss Kasha, thank you for calling. I missed you
all right, bye bye. Oh man, I missed all of
you guys when I was out, but I am back.
You know what, We're gonna come back and we're gonna
talk some morning. I see you guys. As a matter
of fact, I'm gonna let me play a couple of
your messages because y'all are tapping that app, and play
a couple of those. Then we're gonna go to break
(23:36):
and I see you. Lady D Clyde, Miss Betty, y'all
hold on, I'm coming to you. Let's go to the
app and see what you guys are saying. That depends
on how the marriage is going. It might be why
she don't want to sign for that truck. It could
be a number of reasons. Yeah, that's what I just said.
Something going on. Something, hey' storing me. I tapped this. Okay,
(23:58):
Lady D, since you coming up, I'm gonna save that
and I'm gonna come back and talk to you.
Speaker 5 (24:02):
Y'all.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
Hold on, we'll be back in a moment. Not on
one five three, five, nine three four two eight hundred
five zero three nine three four two eight three three
five three five nine three four two. We'll be back
in a moment. You know what. I had a question?
How do you guys handle stress? Because I know the
older you get, sometimes you deal with stress. How do
you handle it? Are y'all one of one of those
(24:23):
people that eat when you're stressed, or do you when
there's a stressful situation? Because stress can be different things.
You know what I'm saying. And I don't know anybody
in life that doesn't go through it. I'm one of
those people that when I'm a little bit stressed, I
don't always show it, but it's there, and sometimes I
(24:46):
can forget everything that I'm doing because it's it's just,
you know, that nagging thing that won't go away. I
don't like it, well, I want it. I don't want it.
I don't like it, but it happens. And I used
to be a stress eater. No more, no more. I'm
much better. I'm much better on that. But I'm learning
(25:07):
to deal with my stress because I think, like I
was telling you guys, there are things that you lose
as you age that you really don't miss, and I
need to know if you agree with me. I saw
this on social media, and it wasn't social media. I
was reading an article about it. Well, actually, yeah, it
was something on social media as well. But there are
(25:27):
things that you lose, and here's a few of those
things that many of us leave behind as we age
without shedding a single tear. Is this you you leave
behind the knee to please everybody? Wow? So some of
us we have a hard time with that. We want
(25:48):
to please everybody. You know what I'm saying. People pleases
what they call it? Are you one of those people?
Are as you've gotten older, are you leaving it behind?
Are you leaving behind the need to have it all
figured out? That's what they say. That's one of those
things we leave by. Here's another one of those things
(26:09):
they say we leave behind as we get older. Toxic relationships. Mmmm,
we know how the patience we used to. I went
to visit my aunt, you know the aunt that I
was telling you all about to said she was watching
Passionate the crash When I went to the house and
she said, uh. I asked her to read. Did she
read a Bible? She said, vah read day. So I
(26:31):
asked her, Well, I'm not gonna tell you what I
ask her, But anyway, what I noticed about my aunt
she don't care about what I think. No, mo, she
don't care. She don't care about what nobody thinks. She's
gonna say what she wants to say, when she wants
to say it, and how she wants because she's how
is she's over eighty. Yeah, she's getting up there and
(26:53):
she don't care. Yeah, being afraid. We lose the ability
to be afraid of saying no, because when you get
a little older, you realize that no is actually a
complete sentence. You say it easier. Papaul canna borrow some
money and they just borrowed it last week. No, you
(27:15):
lose the ability worrying about what you look like, your appearance.
You don't worry about that. No, you not like you did.
M mmmmm. Chasing the spotlight, Yeah, you lose that comparing
yourself to everyone else. Ain't nobody got time rushing through life?
(27:38):
Mm hmmm, trying to control every part of your life,
chasing after superficial things and worrying about past failures. Baby,
you lose, and I think because you lose those things,
you don't stress like you used to when you were younger.
(27:59):
You did this. Man, You get older and you're just
in life just catches up and you're like, anybody got
time for all of this? Anyway?
Speaker 3 (28:11):
On?
Speaker 1 (28:11):
Let's see you got an email here? Yeah, right, tell
Jackson to stop it. I've slept with more married women
than single women. What women do cheat more? Uh uh?
(28:31):
Let me move on, mister Williams. Raphael says, I don't
know if you indulge, but og No basically said, is it,
Mary Jane? Is that what Rick James was saying about
always takes my stress away? I bet it does? No,
I never again, never again. Tried that stuff. Didn't work
(28:54):
for me one and done one time in my life.
Never do it again. Ever. Let me go back to
the phones and see what you guys are talking about today.
Speaker 7 (29:02):
W D I A hello, Hello Stormy gez lady D.
Speaker 1 (29:08):
What's up, lady D.
Speaker 11 (29:11):
Storm?
Speaker 7 (29:11):
Everything is up? And on that list. The way you
deal with stress, you right with people always. You ain't
paying me back at first?
Speaker 5 (29:23):
What you hold me?
Speaker 7 (29:24):
So the answer is no, and you don't feel bad.
You keep it moving.
Speaker 1 (29:32):
Yeah, she keeps me talking to me.
Speaker 7 (29:35):
Look, you keep it moving and you.
Speaker 5 (29:38):
Don't stress of it.
Speaker 7 (29:40):
And the people that used to be stressing you out
like your children. You know, I told you I got
one that thank you, gonna strag my pocket book the
rest of his life.
Speaker 9 (29:54):
I cult and lose.
Speaker 7 (29:56):
No, no, go to work, need me alone. It's about
me my store.
Speaker 1 (30:04):
All the time.
Speaker 5 (30:06):
It was about you all.
Speaker 7 (30:08):
I put my life on home, gave you what you
had covered. Now if you get something, you go to work.
Speaker 11 (30:18):
Because need more.
Speaker 7 (30:21):
I told you thems them brothers get on you need
more and broke. They're gonna wear you out, and you're
gonna get up and make something that happened start it
come that. Not to be crazy around there trying to
take on other people problems. What I call it? No no, no,
no no do like I did, work two jobs, sort
(30:43):
it just like you said. Okay, you called it something different,
just like back in the day people wouldn't work at
the temporary it said. Guess what all I want to
do is get in the door, get my feet in
the door. Oh and I'm gonna run something. I'm just
(31:04):
trying to get through the door so I can run something,
so I can be in charge. True story, storming me
and pay me hand miss and you every job we
went on, Stormy.
Speaker 5 (31:21):
We rode all the way.
Speaker 7 (31:22):
To Holly Springs. She would put in an application. I said,
let me tell you something. If they don't call you for.
Speaker 1 (31:29):
The interview, then guess what.
Speaker 7 (31:32):
Get in the car with me and we're gonna roll now.
And when everything is over, saying you say, help you
if you put an application, they're gonna have it short enough.
Speaker 5 (31:45):
Stormy.
Speaker 7 (31:46):
They would always have her applications. I told her, didn't
I tell you?
Speaker 1 (31:51):
I said, just roll with me.
Speaker 7 (31:53):
Go through the door.
Speaker 4 (31:55):
Set there.
Speaker 7 (31:56):
When they interview everybody, you gonna steal be sitting there.
It's gonna be somebody in the company gonna need another person.
Wine's International. I bet everybody knew by Wayne.
Speaker 5 (32:10):
We went up here.
Speaker 7 (32:11):
Wayne's storing it and they paid you by production. We
probably pulled so much up in there it made us
seek Katherine's warehouse just the name of few didn't know
nothing about him, all of that stuff. Storm And went
in there, got my feet in the door, and I'm one.
(32:34):
I'm gonna run something. Warehouse and hospitized gone out of business.
Didn't know nothing about praying. All I want to do
is get through the door so I could run something
true store the storm. It the same lady that I'm
talking about. That's my ride or Dae. We were friends
(32:55):
for over forty years. About with all I got up
with me? Come on this roll, you want job to
thank you have a good one, all right now.
Speaker 1 (33:10):
Yeah, that's what you got to teach these young folks.
They got to get that limitless attitude, no limits. Mm
hmm w d I A hello, A storm was glad,
not much man.
Speaker 2 (33:26):
You know one of Jackson's isle.
Speaker 1 (33:29):
He just always Yeah, he's like a breath of fresh
air to you.
Speaker 6 (33:37):
Yes, ma'am, I know something storm.
Speaker 1 (33:40):
I don't stress over that, Okay, Okay.
Speaker 2 (33:45):
I stressed.
Speaker 3 (33:46):
I just never been a stress of person because if
it's somebody can't do nothing about what, I'm gonna stress
about it.
Speaker 1 (33:51):
But yeah, but I think men are I feel like
men are better at doing that than women.
Speaker 2 (33:58):
Yeah, I ain't gonna get none stressed me.
Speaker 6 (33:59):
I don't care that they talk about me.
Speaker 3 (34:02):
Don't bother me because he must ain't got no life
going on. You got time to talk about me, So
I don't worry about that. And that story you're talking
about with that guy, Yeah, it's something missing from that
because a man taking care of home like that, that
one man is gonna have no problem coach.
Speaker 1 (34:23):
Saying that's what I think got just I just you know,
it's just nice.
Speaker 3 (34:27):
There's something missing from the third you know, because if
it came down to she would treat me like that
right there? What man gonna pass up letting his eggs
coat sling on?
Speaker 9 (34:40):
Your wife ain't gonna know.
Speaker 2 (34:41):
She colines.
Speaker 3 (34:43):
She's just gonna think you got it and she can't
ask you no question because she didn't co signed.
Speaker 2 (34:48):
But don't worry about how I got this deal.
Speaker 10 (34:50):
I got it.
Speaker 3 (34:53):
It's something missing from this story because if I'm paying
all the videos and how like that right there, and
you can't go saving me, no car, I'm gonna let
my eggs coat sine and don't.
Speaker 2 (35:06):
You coush me? But how I got this truck?
Speaker 5 (35:08):
Mm?
Speaker 2 (35:08):
You just know I got it?
Speaker 3 (35:10):
And then I'm gonna be spending quite the time on my.
Speaker 2 (35:12):
Eggs too, and start don't.
Speaker 3 (35:17):
Never let me? Do you see it again? Women don't
cheap woman woods doing storm.
Speaker 6 (35:25):
I read my Cake Take Care of Storm.
Speaker 1 (35:28):
By Clyde All Miss Woods, Miss Woods, blessed Heart. Listen,
I I you know this guy. Let me tell you something.
This is what I see from the story. Okay, let
me let me read it to y'all again. Because this
I'm gonna tell you what I see and probably y'all
probably seeing it too. I probably see the same thing
(35:49):
I'm seeing when I tell you this story. Okay. He says,
she has a seven forty credit score, and well, mine
is five to twelve. I pay all the bills. All
I want is a twenty five thousand dollars trucks So
that's what he says. He says she won't pay for
him for you know, for the truck. She won't co sign. Now,
(36:13):
I didn't see this until the second ago. She has
a seven hundred and forty credit score. Mine is five twelve.
She she just won't do it. He said he needs
a card and not wants it. He's spending two hundred
dollars a week on Uber. Then he says, what should
I do? Should I leave my ex volunteer to co
sign for me? It's one more time I'm reading y'all.
(36:36):
Tell me if y'all see. I'm I'm gonna wait and
I'm gonna see if y'all see what I see. She
has a seven forty credit score. Well mine is five
to twelve. All right, I'll leave it right there, and
y'all tell me what y'all see. What do you see? Okay,
let me go to the phones and see what you
guys are talking about today. WD I A hello, Hello.
Speaker 7 (37:00):
So hey there, and I love you and I love
your show. And I'd like to comment on two things.
The down that's spending eight hundred dollars a month on
Uber and I know my kid to jacked up. He
can go get a pretty nice talk whatever just about
he wants. He's got eight hundred dollars a month of
(37:20):
spind and you only pay a car no walk a month. Yeah,
and I'll talk to my stress. I had to tell myself,
did God?
Speaker 1 (37:26):
And they go, yeah?
Speaker 7 (37:27):
And I love you and you have.
Speaker 1 (37:29):
A great day you too, miss Betty. Thank you so much.
Let go let god. That's it right there, Thank you,
miss Betty.
Speaker 5 (37:38):
You're welcome.
Speaker 3 (37:39):
Dun.
Speaker 1 (37:40):
I'm trying to tell you w D I A hello, Hello,
story up? Steve? Are you doing doing? Man? Okay? Okay, Well,
thank you. I appreciate that.
Speaker 2 (37:57):
Yeah, we look Did.
Speaker 9 (38:00):
I ever tell you what I look like?
Speaker 1 (38:03):
Did you ever do?
Speaker 2 (38:04):
What? Would I ever tell you what I look like?
Speaker 1 (38:08):
No? No, you and I don't think.
Speaker 6 (38:10):
So, okay, are you sitting down?
Speaker 1 (38:15):
I am?
Speaker 6 (38:16):
I am, okay, so I can tell you what I
look like?
Speaker 3 (38:20):
Okay, chocolate, ball headed, clean, shape, faste, nice, white, smile,
chocolate m and peanut twigs, naka cupcake, pretzels, chocolate cake.
Speaker 1 (38:40):
Wait a minute, wait wait, wait, hold up? Now are
you describing food or yourself?
Speaker 2 (38:46):
I'm describing me?
Speaker 3 (38:47):
Okay, everything, chocolate, Yeah that's what I am. Yeah, I'm
chocolate everything, peanut, chocolate cake, choplin Yeah yeah, chocolate, pumpkin.
Speaker 2 (38:58):
Tie, Cooper shoes.
Speaker 1 (38:59):
Yeah yeah yeah, everything chocolate.
Speaker 2 (39:02):
You can look at to Stephen. Wow, have a good day, Stone,
Thank you?
Speaker 1 (39:11):
All right, Steven?
Speaker 11 (39:13):
All right? Now?
Speaker 1 (39:13):
Uh huh. He looked just like my man. He looked
just like my man. Hot dog.
Speaker 7 (39:34):
W d I A hello, Hey, Stormy?
Speaker 5 (39:39):
How are you miss Pat?
Speaker 1 (39:41):
I'm good? How are you?
Speaker 5 (39:44):
I am great?
Speaker 1 (39:45):
Thank you for ask You're very welcome. Thank you, and
I'm glad you're great.
Speaker 6 (39:50):
Yes, ma'am.
Speaker 12 (39:52):
Stormy, I don't I don't stress. I don't stress about
anything or anybody.
Speaker 1 (39:59):
Hey, what's your trick to that? Seriously, what's your trick
to that?
Speaker 12 (40:05):
I laid on somebody's couch for five months straight, two
days a week, you know, because I was stressed out
of it, this, that, and the other, trying to search.
Speaker 5 (40:16):
Solve the world's problems.
Speaker 12 (40:18):
Every time somebody needed something, Well, Pat, can I can
you let me do this? Or can you help me
with that? And I was like okay, And I was like,
I'm like, why am I so nice that everybody? And
then when my turn comes around, nobody really trying their heads?
Speaker 1 (40:33):
And what what is with that?
Speaker 5 (40:35):
Girl? You don't know?
Speaker 4 (40:36):
If I had it, I would.
Speaker 12 (40:39):
So I had gotten to the place I retired after
thirty two years working at the phone company, and that said,
I'm not letting nothing. If it ain't positive, it ain't important.
So I've learned to say no.
Speaker 7 (40:54):
And I was.
Speaker 12 (40:55):
I was telling my mom on fourth of July when
he was over to my house, like for dinner, and
we were playing the video of my sevent year birthday
party a couple of years ago, and she made her
little speech, right, he said, Pat is one of the
sweetest people I know. She's a good person, but she
just got that something about her. You know, if she
(41:18):
says no, she means no. You know you, I don't
care how you fix this. She's not gonna change her mind.
She'll do anything in the world for you. But then
when you tell your butt with her, she's.
Speaker 5 (41:29):
Done, you know.
Speaker 12 (41:30):
And a lot of people have done that. So I
was like, like you were saying, somebody, oh, you money,
and then they got the marder to say, well, you know,
I'm gonna give you your money when I get it,
but right now I'm just one hundred dollars short. You
still short talking to me because I can't help you.
So I learned not to stress. I don't let anything
(41:53):
or anybody bothering me.
Speaker 5 (41:54):
I just started singing when.
Speaker 12 (41:56):
People start saying something to me, I started singing. So
I'm good with that. Stormy's it's possible, you know, like
the lady said, let go and let God. So that's
what I do.
Speaker 1 (42:11):
And it works, Stormy, it works.
Speaker 7 (42:14):
So yes, do you think.
Speaker 1 (42:19):
Do you think you have to get a little older
because when you were younger, were you like that or
did you get a little older? And yo, I don't
give a kick.
Speaker 6 (42:27):
Then wait, a minute.
Speaker 5 (42:29):
When I was younger, I really didn't give her with your.
Speaker 12 (42:34):
I really didn't care then. But as I got older,
I became a little more compassionate. Yeah, I started out,
people are feelings, and I was like, well, you know,
God has blessed me to do a lot of stuff,
you know, And I say, well, that's like he blessed me.
He'll bless you, you know, don't don't you know? My
brother used to say all the time, how do you
(42:55):
put all that money in church? I say, you know what,
the same money that I'm putting in church. I said,
if you come back and ast me, can I can
I loan you one hundred dollars? I said, if God
hadn't blessed me with this extra hundred dollars, you wouldn't
have been.
Speaker 1 (43:10):
Able to get it. Wow, you know.
Speaker 5 (43:14):
You know both, don't Folks don't look at it like that.
Speaker 12 (43:17):
But hey, I don't let nothing of nobody. If it
ain't positive, it ain't important.
Speaker 1 (43:22):
I got it. Thank you, miss pat.
Speaker 9 (43:25):
Love your start me, Love.
Speaker 1 (43:26):
You too, Thank you for calling in.
Speaker 12 (43:28):
Okay, you're welcome, dere all right?
Speaker 1 (43:31):
Yes, you know what what she said something that made
me think, why do people treat nice people so bad?
Why do nice people get the short end of the stick.
Why is it in life that a nice person has
(43:52):
to act the fool before people start treating them with respect?
Why is it that? Why is it like that? Why
do we as people? Because I feel like it's human nature.
People see somebody nice and they think, oh, well, shoot,
I just to do them any kind of way? You
(44:12):
know what I'm saying, Do you any kind of way
to say anything? Why do we do that? What was
it they used to say about nice people? There was
a phrase. I just had it in my head, but
I can't can't think of it now. But why do
(44:33):
we Why did people do that? Why do you see
a nice person, You see a person that's you know,
got money, that's that's letting you borrow money, and you
just say, how is it that you say to yourself,
I ain't gonna pay them back, or I'm not gonna
I'm not gonna treat them right? How How does that happen?
(44:56):
Why do people do that? Seriously? I would really like
to know maybe there's a therapist out there that can
explain that whole dynamic to me, because I know that
there are so many nice people listening to this show
that get run over. The people feel like they can
just say anything to you or treat you in any
(45:18):
kind of way and it's okay, and it's not. Why
do we do that anyway? I see you guys on hold,
don't hang up. I'm gonna come back and I'm gonna
talk to you, So don't you move. Nine oh one
five three five, nine three four two eight hundred five
zero three nine three four two eight three three five
(45:38):
three five nine three four two. Will be back in
a moment here with me. Thanks so much, appreciate you.
Mister c says, I think the relationship is in trouble
more than the man knows. Instead of a car, he
probably wants to reserve a moving truck. Uh huh. And
let me see, I got an email from Prince Charles. Hey,
Prince Charles, he said, tell that man to call Terry
(46:01):
Spicer A and Clyde says, people take your kindness for weakness,
they do. So I was trying to think of the
phrase a moment ago because Ms Patch she made me
remember it, because you know, I was telling you guys
about when you get older, there's some things you just
you know, you lose and you don't miss it, like
your ability to say no. And she was talking about
(46:22):
how you know nice people and things like that, and
how you know you're nice to people and you give
them something, the care. They just keep coming back from
Ma and Ma and Mo. So I was thinking about
good guys finish last. That's what they say. But the
devil is a lie. Don't let that be you. Just
because you nice, just because you're good, doesn't mean you
(46:44):
have to finish last. Mmm mmm. But that's an old
phrase that they say. Good guys finish last. Why do people,
you know, why do they not treat you know, nice
people so good. I'm still trying to figure that thing out.
I don't like it. I don't like it. I don't So.
I was telling you guys about the guy to the
(47:04):
cynth the message, talking about you know, his woman, and
I asked you to tell me what you see in
this one sentence that he wrote. She has a seven
hundred and forty credit score and mine is a five twelve.
(47:25):
What do you see when you hear that? What do
you see? What do you what do you see? I'm
gonna see if you see what I see or if
you hear do you hear what I hear? Ah? All right, okay,
enough joking around. Let's get back to it up in here. Okay,
So I'm going to go to you guys are tapping
the app out. I'll get there in a second. But
(47:46):
I want to get back to the phones and answer
some of these calls. Here, w D I A hello, Hello,
call of you there?
Speaker 6 (47:57):
Hello?
Speaker 5 (47:58):
Smy Hey there, how are you doing?
Speaker 1 (48:01):
I'm doing good? How are you?
Speaker 5 (48:03):
Well?
Speaker 2 (48:03):
Let me do a quick run.
Speaker 10 (48:04):
Now, settle for it and whatever's credits for. All you
gotta do is mad Hey, you don't need anyone to
solentify you. So uh saying that working on what she got, doll,
go get your own as.
Speaker 2 (48:19):
A real man too.
Speaker 10 (48:21):
Well, he said, why do good people get you know,
nice guys?
Speaker 1 (48:25):
Why do people treat nice people so bad?
Speaker 10 (48:28):
You know the problem is because nice people are humble,
They have humidality, and people take a resident and they
think a person has humility is weak. That's just the opposite.
That's just the opposite the people.
Speaker 2 (48:41):
So they're just being generous.
Speaker 10 (48:43):
And there's stressed dress is nothing but a confis states
of uneasiness, wearing intentions, and you know that's subjects me
of a pace of mind because the couse them just
back come over there and say hey for me, he's nice.
Uh sell the bull, young goo. And you said, well
that's nice. I appreciate the present, but you don't have
(49:05):
a piece of man.
Speaker 5 (49:06):
That don't mean nothing to.
Speaker 10 (49:07):
Her, because get what if I'm gonna have a pizza? Man,
you take that back side and be satisfied.
Speaker 1 (49:13):
You got a little figures.
Speaker 10 (49:14):
Mm hmmm, yeah, you have a good I love you.
Speaker 4 (49:18):

Thank you so okay, all right, bye bye, Thank you
so much for tapping in. Yeah, peace of mind.
Speaker 6 (49:26):

Speaker 1 (49:27):
That'll help you every time want it. Hmmm all right. Uh,
somebody sent me a message. Let me see what that
message is, mister Whitney send me and now let me
see if I can get to this email and see
what he says. She said something interesting. Sometimes I'm looking
for my email I just can't find them. It's you know,
because it's so many emails. I got so many emails like,
(49:49):
oh my goodness, he says, you better take little Daddy
to Margarita's l O L. Not your wife said that.
Let's go back to the phone. W D I a hello.
Speaker 9 (50:00):
To do bron Look at.
Speaker 11 (50:04):
Yeah, look, I think I made a little mistake because.
Speaker 6 (50:10):
I'm gonna say this.
Speaker 9 (50:11):
Uh I called the show this morning to see if
the phone going. I mean, just then see it the
phone gonna pick up.
Speaker 11 (50:18):
It picked right up.
Speaker 9 (50:20):
But every day about a week or two. I'm just
explaining to you, so you uh won't think I'll put
you in that for no read.
Speaker 5 (50:29):
But I thought I thought you was ignoring my call.
Speaker 11 (50:33):
Every day for about a week the bone lamb.
Speaker 6 (50:36):
Was messed up, and uh so so you don't.
Speaker 9 (50:40):
You don't have to be in the black house cabin,
but I will get you out to sink on.
Speaker 11 (50:44):
It's not your fault. It's the regular phone y'all got,
uh just uh messing mess messing me up because I
thought of you picking at me left not let.
Speaker 9 (50:55):
Me talk and thing he is like I just said it.
I just explained it.
Speaker 11 (51:00):
When I called the shows not too long ago, they
picked right up, just like bellatly.
Speaker 9 (51:06):
Like when bell and saying staying Bell there.
Speaker 11 (51:11):
They phone picked right up when I when I call
him on commercial and then Bell phone picked right up.
So my thing to day, I think y'all need to

is first Lady Meredith. Okay, let daddy, I accept your position.
Speaker 9 (55:11):
I do now.
Speaker 5 (55:12):
He needs to understand one thing, narrative. Do not share positions.
You have lady, a second, first lady, a fourth, fifth
first lady. But I can only be one first lady. Okay,
the days it's only he got that straight, except sorry,
moved to the side. Don't start hating on me. Okay,
don't do it now. I call it because of your email.
Speaker 6 (55:34):
Yes, now listen.
Speaker 5 (55:35):
My question to this guy is why is your credit
score five twelve? And heard the seven.
Speaker 2 (55:41):
Question?
Speaker 5 (55:42):
Number one is how long have they been married? If
they knew, he would asked the first two years. Maybe
he came in the marriage with a bad credit score.
He's paying all the bills because you make the money.
Then yes, she said, absolutely, cold tired. But have they've
been married for a while if he just don't pay
his bills correctly, he just behind, No, why should she
mess of my grade score? I don't get me married
(56:02):
or not? So people all magative thing because in there
and he said automatical, She said, I because like, absolutely not.
My credit score is seven eighty. Listen, this is after
found in bankruptcy in life. It's took me a long
time to build back up to that. So I'm proud
of saying that at this time. Ain't nobody, not even
Jesus himself, gonna let me mess it up. So again,
it depends on how did his credit scord get to
(56:24):
be five twelve twelve? He dared, he ain't paying nobody.
Oh yeah, but you can't the bills. I get that
and all that. So I mean, I don't know if
she helped you on the ring. I mean, the more reason.
I'm not sure what that is about, but it's not
just simple a simple thing there. Because we married, I
need to pay your bills on co time for you.
The second thing is, Jackson, there's no way in the
(56:46):
ware or the women cheeed more than men.
Speaker 1 (56:47):
So he just stopped.
Speaker 5 (56:48):
Stop stop the nonsense. Okay, let me tell you why
SAX is great. Don't get me wrong, but it's not
that important to women as it is to men. Just
like you said, y'all, go up there and sleep it
dog can in the mouth. You don't even have to
know her name. Women don't do that. So how many
women meet women? Do you think women? Do you think
falling in love with men? That y'all said women fall
(57:09):
in love? So we just falling in love every day
and that is no. So when we meet somebody, we
fall in love, even if it is on the side.
We have to get to know them and love them. Yes,
I'm just stopping, y'all, just stopping.
Speaker 1 (57:22):
Thank you, Thank you, Thorm, thank you Meredith. Yes, I mean,
I'm so sorry. I'm first lady, I'm so sorry. She
hung up before I could. She probably didn't hear me
when I called her just by name. I had to
call her first lady. Yeah, to talk that talk. Mmm,
hope Jackson heard that too. All right, let's go back
(57:43):
to the phone. See what you guys are talking about.
Let me see who's been holding on the longest. W
D I A hello, Hey, hey, coming man. I'm good.
How are you?
Speaker 2 (57:54):
I'm doing well? Doing well?
Speaker 1 (57:56):
Wonderful? Okay.
Speaker 13 (57:59):
A couple of things for subjects right quick. This guy
with this email about co signing for a car.
Speaker 6 (58:05):
First of all, he should have been ashamed to even send.
Speaker 13 (58:08):
That email to say that his wife scored seven forty
is five twelve?
Speaker 2 (58:13):
Why is your score five twelve? Then he say that
he pays the mortgage with his twenty one hundred.
Speaker 6 (58:21):
Okay, I assured you his name is not on the mortgage.
Speaker 1 (58:26):
Well, you know what. That's another one too, Okay, go
for it.
Speaker 13 (58:31):
Third of all, he pays eight hundred dollars a month
for uber. If I had to go and get a
week total, note, I have mail car. You know what
I'm saying. And while he's spending all that money now now,
now they're marriage, so he should be paying bills inside
the home. But why can't you get your own stuff
in order?
Speaker 11 (58:53):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (58:55):
I wonder how is he if he's.
Speaker 6 (59:00):
Making him a little slack.
Speaker 13 (59:02):
But man, if you forty are over, you should be
concentrated on getting your own stuff in order. You shouldn't
have to ask your wife, your sister, and nobody else
to coat sign for nothing
