real quick and I was going to leave you with
a recorded show on yesterday and hate I had to
do that. I hate I had to do it, but

tell you what, having this is what I believe. Having
somebody in your life that cares about you. I think
it makes a difference.

They say there's research out there that says that married
couples live longer. And I don't know, you know why
the research is the way that it is, but I
do know I've heard that. You know that's research. But
this is what I think. I think is because when
you're in the house with somebody, you're checking on each other,
you know, if something is wrong, you're checking on each other.

When you're single, you don't have nobody checking on you.
You know what I'm saying, You'll have people checking on you.
And I haven't gotten to the marriage poor of this
thing yet, but that's what they say. They say married
people live longer. But I'm telling you something I'm grateful for.
I'm grateful to have somebody in my life that says
you need to stop everything you're doing and go go

to the doctor. So I didn't want to, you know,
share all of that with you on yesterday, but yeah,
I had I had a doctor's appointment I had to
go to and so yeah, so I'm back and I'm better,
and I'm thankful. But I do believe that that the
surveys that they've done and all that stuff about having,

you know, married couples, I believe it. I believe it.
I believe the married couples do live longer. They say
there's another research, there's more research out there that says
that men who have daughters live longer too. Did y'all
see that. I don't know what the research is. I
don't know how they did that, but honey, they're saying
that having daughters increases your life expectancy, the life expectancy fathers.

Each daughter that you have, this is what they say,
ads an average of seventy four weeks to a father's lifespan. Wow,
it's research out there. They're doing research. They are, they are,
and they're telling us all kinds of things, and that's
one of them. So yeah, I do believe that that,

you know, having somebody because you know, you can check
on each other and you can, you know, even if
you have a roommate. I think they said that works too,
you know, even if it's you know, like you two
sisters living together, because you know you kind of you
kind of check on each other. And because sometimes when
you by yourself, you may be you may have something
going on with you that you don't you won't ever

stop and take care of it because you're busy and
you do know you're doing this and you're doing that
when you need to just stop and take care of yourself.
So yesterday, that's that's why I was out. I had
a doctor's appointment that I had to had to go

the City of Memphis is doing this. They're making sure
growth leads to real change. This is what they said
on their social media post. Under the new proposed Community
Benefit Ordinance, twenty five percent of all property tax revenue

from XAI will go directly to the neighborhoods within five
miles of that site. What do you think about that?
Because a lot of people have different things to say
about it. They're they're happy about it. A lot of
people are happy, uh, And a lot of people are
still questioning too the toxic air in those areas. But

I did like this because a lot of people hear
about the Boxtown neighborhood, but they don't know a lot
about that neighborhood. So there was a young woman at
the I believe she's at the council meeting who was
the president of I believe, the Neighborhood Association, and she
had a few things to say. Y'all listen, listen to this.

I'm the president of Boxtown Neighborhood Association and a lifelong
wasn't them but the historical Bunchtown community.
