in downtown Memphis in this ninety something degree weather. And
I saw the police on the scene. They're trying to
help the dog out give you know, they were giving
the dogs some water. I don't know if they had
to break the windows or what happened. But you're not

supposed to do that. You're not supposed to leave animals.
You're definitely not, you know, not supposed to leave children
in the car. So and it's hot, it's hot. Yes,
you gotta leave water outside. If your dog's gonna be
at home by itself, you gotta leave water outside. You
gotta water your pits, you gotta water everything, keep yourself hydrated,

all of it. But definitely don't don't. Don't, man, don't
leave nobody in the car because it's hot. Earlier today,
Tracy walked in the studio I'd already saw the news,
and I don't know if you guys saw the news.

send an email about the passing of former Shelby County
Mayor William bill In Morris Junior passed away at the
age of ninety two. So that's where we got the
Bill Morris Parkway Yay Okay. Mayor Morris served the citizens

of Shelby County with distinction for over three decades, as
sheriff from nineteen sixty four to nineteen seventy and as
the county's longest serving mayor nineteen seventy eight to nineteen
ninety four. A respected leader, Bill Morris was known for
his integrity, wisdom, and on waivering dedication to public service.

His leadership helped shape modern Shelby County, from justice reform
and economic development to education and infrastructure. He is remembered
not only as a public service servant, but as a
devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to many
across Tennessee and beyond. His visitation is going to be Saturday,

August the second at First Evangelical Church in Memphis, and
funeral services will take place immediately after. So yeah, August
the second is the day the family is requesting privacy

spend a little time out there. Jumped out the car

want to call that dog dumb and nothing like that,
but the black and white dog, you know, that's been
in my yard causing some ruckers over in my yard
and all that. I noticed the dogs and I noticed
the family. So I stood there and I just watched.
Oh that ain't going okay, all right, they came outside, y'all.

I went in the house real quick, and I went
to the house real quick and changed my clothes. They
came outside. I saw the dogs first, and then I
saw the woman that was on my camera. She had
her exercise clothes on, and they looked like they were
about to go for a walk. Yeah, And I rushed

out back outside so I could see if they was
gonna walk, because I was hoping. I got to say Hi, Hi,
that's all I was going through. Said Hi. So anyway,
maybe they wouldn't leave their yard, do you hear me?
The dogs not on a leash, by the way, but
they never left their yard. Never nobody getting no exercise.

Last night, I didn't get on and they didn't get
they would not go anywhere. I knew they were walking
because I saw her. I had my glasses on. Make
sure I had my glasses on so I could see
down there to see what they was doing. And she
she came out and she I could tell she had
her exercise clothes on, and they had the dogs. They

was getting ready to walk them dogs, because that was
about the time they were walking them before, you know,
and they're probably gonna, you know, take them to the
dog park and all that stuff. Anyway, they never left
the house. I said, wonder why they ain't leave the house,
because they saw me and I.

Was I was looking down there the whole time I
was looking down there.

Wasn't gonna do nothing. I ain't gonna bust her grape
with a Why they say that they ain't gonna bust

my man told me stand down, storem standing down. I said, oh,

come on, And so i'd see I wasn't gonna do
nothing anyway, But I may have said something to them,
but I think just the stairs that I was giving
them once enough. I don't think I'll ever see them again.
And I don't think I will see those dogs in
my yard again. I don't think. And let me say

Some of y'all might have been too, But yeah, nobody
got exercise. I didn't move, stayed outside till nine o'clock
last night. I mean it was the hour and a
half or so, almost two hours. I just I just
was out there, just you know, looking. I tried to
see what I could see. And yeah, they never moved.

So I said, oh, okay, they I saw them look
at my way. They were looking my way and I
was looking at them. I was like, oh, yeah, I
won't say I saw y'all on my camera. I wasn't
gonna say nothing. I probably, I mean, yeah, I was
gonna say something. I don't know what I would have said.
But they never came my direction. They never went any direction.
They never left their house. They never moved. I never

did either, because I was waiting for him to walk
all by mm hmm. I was waiting for him. Nothing
happened though. Let me see, I've gotten an email here

the corner there at Perkins and Popular they used to

don't do it anymore. I don't think they do it anymore.
When last time I went stopped at their gas station,
they weren't doing it anymore because I think they got
new owners now. It's the new owners there. But do
they do that anymore? That's one thing I've noticed that
we don't see like back in the day, you remember,
you could go somewhere somebody would come out and pump
your gas. M They don't do that no more. I

don't think they're doing that anywhere in Memphis anymore. And
if they do, y'all let me know because I want
to go. I want to go see what was what
is like, you know, because that was what it was
like back in the day, you know, but used to
be you happy when you saw one of those gas stations.

You know, you could also pump your gas at another area.
I used to always pump my own gas. I guess
the rich folks was the one that was letting people
up their gas, you know. I saw this story on
social media. I don't know if you guys saw it.
We actually saw it on the news as well. It
was on TMZ. Did y'all see the Who do y'all
think is right or wrong? Here? I don't think this

was right. I'm I'm a little I'm a little bothered.
Those kids are probably traumatized. But the Florida police officers
who arrested Chucky jeez. They had a hilarious way of

leading him out of the Chucky Cheese Entertainment cheese joint
over the over to their cop card, telling him Chucky,
come with me. Chucky hmm. TMZ said they had attained
obtained that arrest report. I just don't think you should
have done that in front of the kids. So he

supposedly had racked up some fraudulent charges on a debit
card a woman lost after attending a child's birthday. Okay, okay,
I see why they I see why they if I'd
chunking now, But still, why would Why wouldn't they wait
until Chuck E Cheese until the man got off work?

Why wouldn't they wait? You know what I'm saying. Why
would you fire him in front of the kids. They
led him out in front of the kids in Tallahassee
Police Department. They did. They say, the man he was
in costume, there's there's there's video of it, and uh yeah,
he had a small amount of marijuana on him. Okay,

all right, okay, here I am defending him. You ain't
supposed to be around them kids with that anyway. I
did think, well, I didn't no see that one just
got a little murky for me. I didn't see all
of that. I didn't know that the ban had Oh
my goodness, you can't count I can't defend him. Now

when the costume had was removed by the cops, the
identity of that man was revealed. Mister Jones, mister Jones,
mister Jones. I guess they did what they had to do,
but they could have waited, in my opinion, so the
kids didn't have to see that. So m do y'all
remember the two people that went viral on the kiss

cam at the Coldplay concert. The young woman who was
also in that video, Christian Cabot. She resigned from Astronomer
in the wake of that controversy. So both of the
people that worked for Astronomer, neither one of them worked
there anymore, not a one. I do have a question.

I asked this inside of the tee. Y'all. Anybody going
to glow Bash tonight, let me know, let me know
if you got an extra ticket. And I'm just kidding,
but I am wondering because I've seen a lot of
older people, people in our age group, that said they're
going to that concert. I've seen a lot of folks

you go and have yourself a good time and tail

What's going on down at the jail? We have a

jail intake problem. Recent reporting indicates that there are over
three hundred fifty arrestees at a time waiting for multiple
days to be processed at the Shelby County Jail, so
many that there are not enough chairs for them. There
are people who've been arrested but not convicted of any crime,

People who are just waiting to be assigned a sell
so they have a bed to sleep in. Over a
quarter of them wait for over a week until they're
assigned a sell. Some wait more than two weeks. Some
are sleeping in the showers, making it impossible for others
to take a shower during this time. They gotta do

something about that jail. That's the email that I just
received from the Shelby County District Attorney's office. Yeah, okay,
so what do we do about this? The whole jail situation.
If you got to get the people off the street, Okay,
so you got a lot of people in jail and

you got to get them off the street. But if
you don't have, what's the solution? Do y'all know where
is there some place in Memphis that's safe enough that
they can take these prisoners other than two oh one?
Because evidently it's full. Ain't no more room, Ain't no room,

that's how any So Okay, now I want to believe,
and you know what, I actually do believe that crime
is down in Memphis. I believe crime is down. But
this doesn't help the case. This doesn't help And who's

gonna fix it? Because I'd heard there was supposed to
be some emergency money to fix the problems down there?
But what so what's going on? Because if people commit
a crime, you got to take them somewhere. So any
of y'all got any ideas? Is there a place in Memphis?

Or maybe they could could call down the DeSoto County
or call over Millington or or you know, I mean,
and what's the law? Can you if you get arrested
in Memphis? Do you have to go to.

if this stays the way it stays, And I mean,

If that problem stays the way that it is, we're
