Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay, all right, Welcome on in, Welcome on in. Happy Friday, everybody.
It is July twenty fifth, It is Friday. And let
me tell you it's hot outside. Just if why I
need you to know that it's hot outside. I saw
this story a moment ago. I know, Prince Charles ain't
(00:24):
gonna like this. Somebody left a dog in a car
in downtown Memphis in this ninety something degree weather. And
I saw the police on the scene. They're trying to
help the dog out give you know, they were giving
the dogs some water. I don't know if they had
to break the windows or what happened. But you're not
(00:46):
supposed to do that. You're not supposed to leave animals.
You're definitely not, you know, not supposed to leave children
in the car. So and it's hot, it's hot. Yes,
you gotta leave water outside. If your dog's gonna be
at home by itself, you gotta leave water outside. You
gotta water your pits, you gotta water everything, keep yourself hydrated,
(01:13):
all of it. But definitely don't don't. Don't, man, don't
leave nobody in the car because it's hot. Earlier today,
Tracy walked in the studio I'd already saw the news,
and I don't know if you guys saw the news.
Got an email, let me see who this even Valerie Morris, Yeah,
(01:39):
send an email about the passing of former Shelby County
Mayor William bill In Morris Junior passed away at the
age of ninety two. So that's where we got the
Bill Morris Parkway Yay Okay. Mayor Morris served the citizens
(02:03):
of Shelby County with distinction for over three decades, as
sheriff from nineteen sixty four to nineteen seventy and as
the county's longest serving mayor nineteen seventy eight to nineteen
ninety four. A respected leader, Bill Morris was known for
his integrity, wisdom, and on waivering dedication to public service.
(02:25):
His leadership helped shape modern Shelby County, from justice reform
and economic development to education and infrastructure. He is remembered
not only as a public service servant, but as a
devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to many
across Tennessee and beyond. His visitation is going to be Saturday,
(02:48):
August the second at First Evangelical Church in Memphis, and
funeral services will take place immediately after. So yeah, August
the second is the day the family is requesting privacy
at this time. That's where we get it. Bill Morris
Parkway mm hm m hmm, longest serving mayor nineteen seventy
(03:14):
nine to nineteen ninety four. Okay, a long time rest
in power. Sending some love out to his family on today.
Young August, Hey girl, she says, Happy Friday. Yeah, we
heard that finger snap and church foot stomp you did
(03:37):
when I was coming on at three o'clock. Because a
lot of people think I come on at four and
go off of six. I don't three to seven three.
And I want you here with me the whole time.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
Ah.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
You know that song, I want you here with me?
You know that song? Yeah, man, I want you here
with me. So, yeah, you know what I was thinking
about yesterday. Well, first off, let me catch you all
up to what happened last night. Last night. I went
home and I was in my neighborhood, and yeah, I
(04:08):
wasn't looking for no smoke. I ain't want no smoke.
But I get home and I'm you know, I was
watering the grass and watering my blanche, myrtle and ethel
in the front. Yeah, and so I was, you know,
spend a little time out there. Jumped out the car
and I noticed tweedlede and tweet a learned. I don't
(04:35):
want to call that dog dumb and nothing like that,
but the black and white dog, you know, that's been
in my yard causing some ruckers over in my yard
and all that. I noticed the dogs and I noticed
the family. So I stood there and I just watched.
Oh that ain't going okay, all right, they came outside, y'all.
(05:01):
I went in the house real quick, and I went
to the house real quick and changed my clothes. They
came outside. I saw the dogs first, and then I
saw the woman that was on my camera. She had
her exercise clothes on, and they looked like they were
about to go for a walk. Yeah, And I rushed
(05:23):
out back outside so I could see if they was
gonna walk, because I was hoping. I got to say Hi, Hi,
that's all I was going through. Said Hi. So anyway,
maybe they wouldn't leave their yard, do you hear me?
The dogs not on a leash, by the way, but
they never left their yard. Never nobody getting no exercise.
(05:51):
Last night, I didn't get on and they didn't get
they would not go anywhere. I knew they were walking
because I saw her. I had my glasses on. Make
sure I had my glasses on so I could see
down there to see what they was doing. And she
she came out and she I could tell she had
her exercise clothes on, and they had the dogs. They
(06:12):
was getting ready to walk them dogs, because that was
about the time they were walking them before, you know,
and they're probably gonna, you know, take them to the
dog park and all that stuff. Anyway, they never left
the house. I said, wonder why they ain't leave the house,
because they saw me and I.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
Was I was looking down there the whole time I
was looking down there.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
Wasn't gonna do nothing. I ain't gonna bust her grape
with a Why they say that they ain't gonna bust
a grape with a what's that phrase? Y'all know I ain't
gonna bust a ain't gonna bust a grape? Is that
how you said? I wasn't gonna do nothing, mainly because
my man told me stand down, storem standing down. I said, oh,
(06:57):
come on, And so i'd see I wasn't gonna do
nothing anyway, But I may have said something to them,
but I think just the stairs that I was giving
them once enough. I don't think I'll ever see them again.
And I don't think I will see those dogs in
my yard again. I don't think. And let me say
thank you to Misstosha because she was praying for me.
(07:18):
Some of y'all might have been too, But yeah, nobody
got exercise. I didn't move, stayed outside till nine o'clock
last night. I mean it was the hour and a
half or so, almost two hours. I just I just
was out there, just you know, looking. I tried to
see what I could see. And yeah, they never moved.
(07:38):
So I said, oh, okay, they I saw them look
at my way. They were looking my way and I
was looking at them. I was like, oh, yeah, I
won't say I saw y'all on my camera. I wasn't
gonna say nothing. I probably, I mean, yeah, I was
gonna say something. I don't know what I would have said.
But they never came my direction. They never went any direction.
They never left their house. They never moved. I never
(08:03):
did either, because I was waiting for him to walk
all by mm hmm. I was waiting for him. Nothing
happened though. Let me see, I've gotten an email here
Stephen Sydney. Hey, mister Sidney, he said, loud and clear,
storm of tea. We tapped that app Angela and I
are in Birmingham, Alabama, and we are coming in or
(08:23):
you are coming in loud and clear. Keep your head
on a swivel and have a super great weekend. Thank you, sir,
appreciate that very very much. Yeah, okay, all right. I
did notice. I was wondering something the other day, and
do y'all here in Memphis, do y'all see ever see
any Do we have any gas stations that people come
(08:45):
out and help you pump your gas like they used
to back in the day. Do they do they do
that anymore here? If there is a gas station around
here that does that, will y'all let me know. I
haven't seen them. I know that that shell on on
the corner there at Perkins and Popular they used to
do it. That was some years ago. They probably don't
(09:06):
don't do it anymore. I don't think they do it anymore.
When last time I went stopped at their gas station,
they weren't doing it anymore because I think they got
new owners now. It's the new owners there. But do
they do that anymore? That's one thing I've noticed that
we don't see like back in the day, you remember,
you could go somewhere somebody would come out and pump
your gas. M They don't do that no more. I
(09:30):
don't think they're doing that anywhere in Memphis anymore. And
if they do, y'all let me know because I want
to go. I want to go see what was what
is like, you know, because that was what it was
like back in the day, you know, but used to
be you happy when you saw one of those gas stations.
(09:51):
You know, you could also pump your gas at another area.
I used to always pump my own gas. I guess
the rich folks was the one that was letting people
up their gas, you know. I saw this story on
social media. I don't know if you guys saw it.
We actually saw it on the news as well. It
was on TMZ. Did y'all see the Who do y'all
think is right or wrong? Here? I don't think this
(10:12):
was right. I'm I'm a little I'm a little bothered.
Those kids are probably traumatized. But the Florida police officers
who arrested Chucky jeez. They had a hilarious way of
(10:33):
leading him out of the Chucky Cheese Entertainment cheese joint
over the over to their cop card, telling him Chucky,
come with me. Chucky hmm. TMZ said they had attained
obtained that arrest report. I just don't think you should
have done that in front of the kids. So he
(10:54):
supposedly had racked up some fraudulent charges on a debit
card a woman lost after attending a child's birthday. Okay, okay,
I see why they I see why they if I'd
chunking now, But still, why would Why wouldn't they wait
until Chuck E Cheese until the man got off work?
(11:14):
Why wouldn't they wait? You know what I'm saying. Why
would you fire him in front of the kids. They
led him out in front of the kids in Tallahassee
Police Department. They did. They say, the man he was
in costume, there's there's there's video of it, and uh yeah,
he had a small amount of marijuana on him. Okay,
(11:37):
all right, okay, here I am defending him. You ain't
supposed to be around them kids with that anyway. I
did think, well, I didn't no see that one just
got a little murky for me. I didn't see all
of that. I didn't know that the ban had Oh
my goodness, you can't count I can't defend him. Now
(12:02):
when the costume had was removed by the cops, the
identity of that man was revealed. Mister Jones, mister Jones,
mister Jones. I guess they did what they had to do,
but they could have waited, in my opinion, so the
kids didn't have to see that. So m do y'all
remember the two people that went viral on the kiss
(12:25):
cam at the Coldplay concert. The young woman who was
also in that video, Christian Cabot. She resigned from Astronomer
in the wake of that controversy. So both of the
people that worked for Astronomer, neither one of them worked
there anymore, not a one. I do have a question.
(12:47):
I asked this inside of the tee. Y'all. Anybody going
to glow Bash tonight, let me know, let me know
if you got an extra ticket. And I'm just kidding,
but I am wondering because I've seen a lot of
older people, people in our age group, that said they're
going to that concert. I've seen a lot of folks
(13:08):
that plan to go, and I ain't mad at you.
I'm not. If you are going to glow Bash, then
you go and have yourself a good time and tail
glow real. I said, Hi, Okay, what's going down there?
What's going on down at the jail? We have a
(13:29):
jail intake problem. Recent reporting indicates that there are over
three hundred fifty arrestees at a time waiting for multiple
days to be processed at the Shelby County Jail, so
many that there are not enough chairs for them. There
are people who've been arrested but not convicted of any crime,
(13:53):
People who are just waiting to be assigned a sell
so they have a bed to sleep in. Over a
quarter of them wait for over a week until they're
assigned a sell. Some wait more than two weeks. Some
are sleeping in the showers, making it impossible for others
to take a shower during this time. They gotta do
(14:15):
something about that jail. That's the email that I just
received from the Shelby County District Attorney's office. Yeah, okay,
so what do we do about this? The whole jail situation.
If you got to get the people off the street, Okay,
so you got a lot of people in jail and
(14:35):
you got to get them off the street. But if
you don't have, what's the solution? Do y'all know where
is there some place in Memphis that's safe enough that
they can take these prisoners other than two oh one?
Because evidently it's full. Ain't no more room, Ain't no room,
(14:59):
that's how any So Okay, now I want to believe,
and you know what, I actually do believe that crime
is down in Memphis. I believe crime is down. But
this doesn't help the case. This doesn't help And who's
(15:19):
gonna fix it? Because I'd heard there was supposed to
be some emergency money to fix the problems down there?
But what so what's going on? Because if people commit
a crime, you got to take them somewhere. So any
of y'all got any ideas? Is there a place in Memphis?
(15:42):
Or maybe they could could call down the DeSoto County
or call over Millington or or you know, I mean,
and what's the law? Can you if you get arrested
in Memphis? Do you have to go to.
Speaker 4 (15:56):
Two old one?
Speaker 1 (15:56):
Popular there's no other solution because if this keeps happening,
if this stays the way it stays, And I mean,
I literally just got that email when I'm on the air.
If that problem stays the way that it is, we're
gonna hear about more depths at two on one Popular.
(16:21):
And I know there's an outcry about them. The dog
that was left in the car today and you shouldn't
be leaving the dog in the heat. But come on, now,
what we gonna do about two oh one? Let me
get off that. Let me get off that now, y'all,
can you know, tell me what you think about it?
(16:43):
You know, y'all might be mad that I brought it up,
but just they send me the email. I'm just sharing
it with you. They sent it, and I think it's
I think it's terrible. I think it's terrible. I think
something should be done. Okay, miss Humphreys, you're saying nowhere
(17:07):
it used to be at popular in Germantown. They're out
of business. Oh you're talking about she's saying popular in
German Is that the gas station where they used to
uh pump your gas? Is that what you're trying to
tell me? Or are you telling me that it might
be a place where they can start y'all seriously now,
because this might affect somebody that you love having to
(17:29):
go down to two oh one popular. It ain't no room,
no room. But you can't stop arresting these people. And
if you don't do something about two oh one Popular,
if you don't do something about it, then you're gonna
give people license to go out there and do whatever
(17:51):
they want to and think that they ain't going to jail.
Something's got to be done. Let me let me get
off of that. Let me let me get off of that.
So I want to keep it fun today, if you
guys will indulge me. I do have my love question
because you know it's friay. But Jermaine do Pre said
(18:14):
something that I mean, I kind of agree with him,
but then I kind of don't. Who do you think
or what group in your era would you say is
the greatest musical group of all time? What group would
you say?
Speaker 5 (18:32):
Now?
Speaker 1 (18:32):
This is what Jermain do Pre said.
Speaker 6 (18:36):
New Audition, New Audition is the greatest group in music
here history period. They're the greatest group to ever come
out white, black, I don't care what it is. They're
the greatest group to ever come out. Reason being everybody
went solo and went platinum.
Speaker 1 (18:52):
Everybody, everybody.
Speaker 6 (18:54):
This ain't happened with the Jackson's, This ain't happened with
the Four Tops, This ain't having with Semptations, This ain't
happen with the Backstreet Boys. This ain't happening with Insant
New Addition. They got BBD, they went platinum, raph TRANSPHNT
went platinum. Bobby Brown, so nobody and the crew didn't eat.
Speaker 1 (19:16):
I hear what he's saying, but I and I love
New Edition, But I would say that the Jacksons are there,
in my opinion, the greatest group of all in my opinion,
and then I would I love New Edition. I am
not trying to take anything from them. And yeah, he's right,
they went all win. Many of them went solo. But
(19:38):
I don't know. I don't know about that one. I
just I don't agree with it. I don't agree with it.
So I'm just wondering your era. Is it the Temptations
for you? Is it the Four Tops? Is it? Who
would you say it is the greatest musical group of
all time? I would say it's the Jackson five. That's me.
(20:01):
That's me. Mmmm. Let's go to the phones.
Speaker 7 (20:05):
You guys are hanging on let's talk to you. W
D I A hello, nothing much.
Speaker 1 (20:16):
How you doing?
Speaker 8 (20:17):
I'm doing okay, number one, number one?
Speaker 1 (20:20):
What's up, Prince Charles.
Speaker 8 (20:22):
Everything is great. I'm thank you for asking. I'm on
the talk show.
Speaker 1 (20:25):
You're welcome.
Speaker 8 (20:26):
Good, You're welcome. Good afternoon to your callum. For listeners.
I wrote down my list. I'm gonna make it very quick.
You know, I'm already upset about the dog, you know,
and and I preached it and I said I'm redundant,
and I know people get tired of it, but that
is why I say what I say. And I'm so
happy I'm talking to some about on the phone. I'm sorry,
(20:47):
but uh ladies, just actually keeping that is going to
give me in trouble. I'll tell you right now. But
story man, I've been saying this for for ages, and
it hurts spirit every time. I'm happy that the dog
did about The police was there on the on the thing.
So it just said, it just said, would you leave
(21:09):
your own self in a car with the windows up
on a hot day like this? In many cases people
say no, wait, why don't you do an animal or
child something that's stepless? So it just hurts me dealing
with the guy Chucky Cheese. He deserves everything that he got.
He's around and taking people cards and using them. Oh no, no, no, no,
they did the right thing. You know. He's look dirty,
(21:30):
as they were saying the whole movie, you dirty rock.
So he deserved everything that he got. Gas station attendance,
if you go to the right neighborhood, it'll be a
guy right there at one of those problem. Let me
come to their gas for you, you know, and you
he's looking for a lit dollar or two, so.
Speaker 1 (21:51):
Come on, come on now what.
Speaker 5 (21:55):
It's absolutely true.
Speaker 8 (21:56):
I can't tell you how many times that I have
had them come up me ben, let me pictures, pump
your gas for a dollar or two dollars so I
can give you something, you know, on occasion, I will
do it. In many cases I don't do it because
you don't know if they're going to try to tex
you up and try to walk you, you know, in
that case. So that's why I play a kind of
coutures when to come to that. But I have done
it on occasion. That's there, Okay, let me just go
(22:18):
out on a limb and let that happen. But in
many cases I wouldn't suggest and I say this here, Stormy,
do not go pump your gas in the middle of
the night or at night any lady.
Speaker 1 (22:29):
Yeah, you gotta be careful with that, even though I
know that you're right.
Speaker 8 (22:33):
Yeah, you know, makeing stuff a bigger and the last
and final thing you were talking about the show tonight. No,
there's nowhere in the world that I want to go
see gold Glow Weller. I'm sorry, I almost call it goroller,
so go over. I'm not saying about our talent. I'm
just not into hip hop music.
Speaker 1 (22:48):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 8 (22:49):
That's not my general I like smooth jazz, R and B,
you know, the blues, things of their nature. But I
will tell you this this Sunday. I will be epathetics
for to say one of my favorite rock groups of
all time.
Speaker 5 (23:03):
H Creed.
Speaker 8 (23:05):
You made you made a statement about the best of
Now when you say the best group singing group, do
they have to be an error?
Speaker 9 (23:14):
No?
Speaker 1 (23:15):
No, I just said the best group. Did you agree
with Jermaine Dupree that it's New Edition. I'm not saying
New Edition isn't great.
Speaker 8 (23:22):
Okay, you know who I would pick one of the
one of one of the best groups. Now, I want
to say, New Edition is one of the best groups,
but I'm gonna put them in. I can give us
the top five best groups. So we're gonna leave out
of things. We're gona leave it to Jackson, one of
my favorite groups right now. And I still listen to
him today and I who a kid rolling?
Speaker 1 (23:43):
So got Prince? You're right, Prince Charles, I gotta run.
Thank you for calling in w D I A hello, Hello, Hey,
what's going on? Fred?
Speaker 7 (23:56):
That I'm doing?
Speaker 10 (23:57):
Good?
Speaker 11 (23:57):
Man?
Speaker 1 (23:57):
You all right? Yeah?
Speaker 10 (24:00):
I don't say you put up to the gas station,
look good enough.
Speaker 1 (24:04):
I pump your gas, babe, I do that every day.
What are you talking about?
Speaker 12 (24:10):
Well, you shouldn't have no problem then, No, I.
Speaker 1 (24:14):
Mean real gas attendance. Do they do that anymore? Is it? Is? It?
Is it a thing of the past. We will never
see that again.
Speaker 10 (24:22):
I thought, you know, you know these folks from India
taking over all these gas stations, and that's probably why
you don't see that no more. You know, I won't
say too about your The chuck of Cheese got it,
they say. First he was working the door, and he
wasn't in the Chuck of Cheese uniform by the time
police got there.
Speaker 13 (24:42):
That's when he was in the uniform.
Speaker 1 (24:46):
Wait a minute, what you trying to say he knew
they were coming.
Speaker 8 (24:52):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (24:53):
I don't know what.
Speaker 10 (24:56):
Maybe he's swiped enough pods and he got getting on
in the chucky uniform.
Speaker 11 (25:03):
You know.
Speaker 10 (25:05):
I don't know if she listened, but I know somebody
that knows her her is probably listening.
Speaker 13 (25:10):
Doctor to Lisa Franklin.
Speaker 10 (25:12):
Yeah, I want to thank her for her bill boards
that she got up because uh, Carr had cut me off,
and I was getting ready to pull up next to
him and say some words. But I looked up and
saw her saying and said be can and I rolled
on by my bed.
Speaker 12 (25:32):
Maybe.
Speaker 10 (25:33):
And it sounds like it sounds like you need one
of them sayings over in your neighborhood too, so you
can leave them neighbors alone.
Speaker 1 (25:40):
No, said they'll leave me alone. They started it.
Speaker 10 (25:45):
I'm wondering if your neighbors listening to what you're saying too.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
No, they probably not. They probably they don't know me, okay,
but they know me. But they don't know me, but
they know me. You know what I'm saying. Oh, Fred,
thank you for that laugh. I appreciate you calling. Thank
you so much kill you good talking to YouTube. Call again.
(26:11):
You have good weekend? All right? You too? You too?
Speaker 10 (26:14):

Speaker 1 (26:14):
All right, bye bye, go into this app and then
I'm gonna take a break.
Speaker 9 (26:17):

send you some Facebook posts. Sure will, Yes, sir, they're going.
I know a doctor in Memphis that posted that his
kids were mad because they bought tickets him and his
(26:54):
wife for them and didn't buy them for the kids.
One five three, five nine three four two eight hundred
five zero three nine three four two eight three three
five three five nine three four to two. All right, y'all,
I'll be back in a moment. National Wine and Cheese Day,
they say it is, honey, It's also National Culinarians Day,

It is your day? So I hope it's a good
one for you. I'm gonna go to the app in
a moment, and I'm definitely going to go to your email.
Let me go to the emails right now. Ms Coach says, Hey, Stormy,
that lets you know that they were doing it intentionally.
(27:39):
You should have haullered down there and said bring it home. Lol.
Now we're gonna do that. Miss Rafaela's hay, Stormy. I
can't give it to n E new edition, but I
wouldn't argue with anyone who feels they are the greatest.
I personally think the Isley brothers come on now that
(28:00):
not huh he didn't mention them, did he? Asley brothers?
Come on, here are the greatest. They have hits in
so many eras and generations. That's it talk that dog
as King says, Happy Friday. That caller gave me the
best laugh. That husband needs to tell his wife that
she has been coming on to him before she sets
(28:21):
him up or lies on him. Mmmm. If he doesn't
think that she'll believe him or excuse him of flirting
with her as well, or accuse him of flirting with
him with her as well, he needs to secretly record

back to the phones. W D I A hello, Hello, Hi,
how are you? I'm good?
Speaker 8 (34:10):
Good?
Speaker 1 (34:10):
Good?
Speaker 5 (34:11):
Uh?
Speaker 13 (34:12):
Just want to make it or come in about the tour?
Speaker 1 (34:15):
One popular?
Speaker 2 (34:16):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (34:17):
Uh, I don't.
Speaker 13 (34:20):
I don't want to spend a dime on building a
new jail. Now one half percent of my tax dollars
going to a new jail. I think the jail is
too nice. I think it's a penthouse.
Speaker 8 (34:30):
That's why they keep.
Speaker 1 (34:30):
Going down there.
Speaker 13 (34:32):
Before we spend one dime on the damn jail. We
needs need to build be free mental health penic.
Speaker 1 (34:37):
Now you're right about that, soldier, but let me stop
you real quick. We don't say the D word on
this show, but I feel you you're passionate.
Speaker 13 (34:44):
Spend no money on no jails and build a mental
health plenty. The one properably is the most wealth building
in the state Tenite. The judges down there the reason
why we got crime. People Stop blaming the police with
the d and the judges. That's why we got the
most crime in the city. The other one's releasing the
murders and the chipments, innovators and the projectors, not the police.
(35:05):
To them are popular needs to be too over boy,
the state of Tennessee, don't do not build another jail.
And to see your mean you're gonna build it. We
used to white people money out there in the county
and building out.
Speaker 4 (35:16):
There in the county.
Speaker 13 (35:17):
Not spend none of my money on the jail. So
you spend up you deal more schools and the minion
health spending. But the crime, if you having crime, is
because of the judges downtown y'all.
Speaker 8 (35:27):
Pay your picture. What's going on around y'all?
Speaker 14 (35:28):
They fooling us.
Speaker 13 (35:30):
They're paying us like foods. They getting paid, we getting paid.
You pay judges four thousand dollars a week.
Speaker 1 (35:35):
You know they they're paying them four thousand a week.
Speaker 13 (35:39):
Judge at getting paid four thousand of week to release
murder with South community four thousand a week.
Speaker 1 (35:46):
I have not heard that.
Speaker 13 (35:48):
Look up the judge the salary, four or five thousand
a week.
Speaker 1 (35:53):
Their salary. Now I hear some of them make way
more than that. I can live, Yeah, but I don't.
Speaker 4 (35:59):
I haven't.
Speaker 1 (36:00):
I haven't heard anything about them, you know, taking money
to release them. I haven't heard anything about it.
Speaker 13 (36:05):
No, I ain't say it took mine. I'm saying they
getting paid four or five thousand dollars of our tax
dollars and release these people.
Speaker 1 (36:12):
I got you.
Speaker 13 (36:14):
I mean, you know what I'm saying, repeat offenders, the
judges and the das the reason why we got so
much crime. It's not the police we need to be
protesting down there. We should be protesting down there to
one problem.
Speaker 14 (36:28):
That's where all the.
Speaker 1 (36:29):
Crime is going there.
Speaker 13 (36:30):
That's the most corrupt building in the state of Tennessee
and spending most in none of my money, ya know.
Jail jail is too nice. They love it down there.
Let them keep going. Need to fix it up. Somebody
who know what they're doing to run the jail.
Speaker 1 (36:44):
That's the problem.
Speaker 13 (36:45):
Don't leave to get any of my mindy on know,
jail to heal with the jail.
Speaker 1 (36:48):
Did have a good day, all right, So thank you
so much for calling in. Yeah, he is passionate about it.
I feel him, though. You know, it's an issue that
has to be addressed somehow. Something needs to be done,
some way, somehow with with If there's something going on
that we don't know about, some need to be done
about that too. Okay, mister George, says Stormy. I said,
(37:10):
stack them folks at two oh one on top of
each other. If they would function like normal people, they
wouldn't be down at two to oh one suffering. I
know that sounds mean, but I'm sick of these y
ns causing ruckus around here. Mmmmm, wow, he's sick of it.
(37:33):
I think a lot of people are sick of it,
not just him w D I A hello, how you doing?
Speaker 10 (37:40):
Hey?
Speaker 1 (37:41):
I'm goodness, Rob?
Speaker 17 (37:41):
How you doing that issue with.
Speaker 5 (37:48):
The singer of a new addition? Man, I don't know
how Jermaine Dupre can even come up with that about
him being the best under group of all the tabs,
Tim would be one of the best of all time.
You go back to gays starting this thing, the Shylfe,
the old James, they don't come tell of these Gas.
Speaker 1 (38:08):
It's a whole lot more. Mister Robb, you are absolutely correct.
I could totally agree with you more.
Speaker 5 (38:13):
The men were better singers than the than the the
those Gas. Now, if you said, guys who can step
real good or with the best dance moves, they I would.
Speaker 8 (38:24):
Put them up there.
Speaker 5 (38:25):
But as for a best group of.
Speaker 8 (38:27):
All time, it's no possible way it.
Speaker 5 (38:29):
There's almost no way to put any matter over the Temptations.
Speaker 1 (38:33):
Not even the Jackson's.
Speaker 5 (38:36):
Uh that's for Overhall group now tm TEX for better
singers than the Jackson But he's saying they the best
of all time. It's just no way. I mean, you
can go back and just name group at the group
after group, the Dells, remember the day, Yeah, those were
groups then those and they singing a lot of the
earning me with just bubblegum music. You know, I don't
(39:01):
know how Jermaine Free was. He was saying that, and
I mean to put him in the top twenty would
be unt statement, ult statement to me. It's fact for singles,
you got to go back. It's just like in basketball
when they're talking about the goats, go back to walk
fraise the castle. Uh Earl Monroe for goats. That's when
(39:23):
I don't get off of this thing with this basketball.
Mean now the older players were metal players. Better say
you had way more ghosts than you've got now.
Speaker 1 (39:33):
But as for boys, to me, I mean, uh, what
is the new edition?
Speaker 5 (39:38):
And never could have seen to me, no way, you know,
because when they said he was the king of art
be yeah said it's just it's just unbelievable. People don't
know music. That's the only thing I can say. But
you give me the Skidlights or the damn Funnies any
day over those guys, the Shydlights. I mean, you go
(39:58):
back to overall groups. Like I said, now, if you
were talking about it's for dance moves, Yeah, I won't
put them.
Speaker 7 (40:04):
In the top ten.
Speaker 5 (40:06):
Yeah, almost in the top five for dance groups. He
said they could they could out dance to Jackson five.
There's no way, miss Rob.
Speaker 1 (40:14):
I don't know. Back in the day, I mean them Temptations,
those all those groups, Dell's all. I mean, you know,
just just name the list of groups. They all had
them dance moves.
Speaker 3 (40:25):
A new edition.
Speaker 1 (40:25):
Didn't come up with them.
Speaker 5 (40:27):
They didn't come up with it. Feel like we would say,
Bobby Brown the Kingdom off to be no way, there's
no ways. Hmm, there's no way. I don't even know
what you name to put you to talk about on
them one. I mean you you just go back to
too many old groups and I can't even give.
Speaker 12 (40:45):
The name of them.
Speaker 11 (40:46):
Now.
Speaker 5 (40:47):
I didn't name, but you know I'm oversetting it so
I can name a whole.
Speaker 1 (40:50):
Lot you You didn't you named it.
Speaker 5 (40:53):
You named quite a few some about groups that were singers. Yeah, man, Gleeve, I.
Speaker 1 (40:58):
Don't know what you got that from, but you know,
there's a difference, to mister Rob, there's a difference in
singing and sanging. Back in the day, they were singing.
Speaker 5 (41:08):
Okay, man, we got women back in the day on that.
Speaker 1 (41:21):
Please, no myck.
Speaker 5 (41:25):
Can't get over it that I.
Speaker 1 (41:27):
Got you, mister Robb, thank you for calling, man.
Speaker 17 (41:29):
I appreciate you, appreciate it.
Speaker 1 (41:30):
I appreciate all right, y'all, Happy Friday. Thank you for

we'll be back. Please just be careful. Yeah, you gotta
be outside. I'll just begause. I did notice it wasn't
as hot this morning or this today. Uh, but it's
(41:52):
probably because we got a lot of cloud coverage out there.
I'm no meteorologist, but I can tell you that the
sun ain't shining, you know what I'm saying, to look
cloudy are, then maybe that's why it's not as hot today,
which is good man, because we need to We needed
to break. They's been hot around here, real hot. I'm
(42:12):
gonna go to the app real quick and sharing sharing.
Oh my goodness, she said stormy. I wouldn't care if
they stacked they in there like sardines. Don't spend my
tax paying money for them. I tried to get the
(42:34):
line so busy. Okay, Yeah, maybe it'll calm down in
a minute and you can get on the line. But yeah,
m some people feel strongly about that, they really do.
But something has to be done. That's why I say
something has to be done, because if you run out
of room, you ain't gonna have nowhere to put them.
And they not coming to my house. You don't call
(42:56):
me and ask me you can you can they stay
at my crib? No man, no sir. Okay, let's go
to this ap and see what you guys are saying.
Speaker 17 (43:05):
Stormy, you are.
Speaker 10 (43:06):
Sounding real good.
Speaker 1 (43:07):
Thank you on the radio.
Speaker 14 (43:08):
You don't have the heat.
Speaker 1 (43:09):
Cuffs going on no more.
Speaker 14 (43:11):
And tell the engineers they did a good job on
cleaning your singing it. Thank you very much from Jay
and Mississippi.
Speaker 1 (43:18):
Appreciate you Jay and Mississippi. And it ain't the Stormy.
Speaker 20 (43:23):
The only place I know that's still pump your gas,
it's a state of New Jersey. M. And secondly, the
police arrests and chucky. The police don't care where they
arrest you. They could be in front of anyone. They
don't care. Right, have a blessed freaking storm.
Speaker 1 (43:39):
Don't thank you you too, if you're not a crooner.
You shouldn't be in the top five anyway. That's right. Later,
if you're not a crooner, get out the list. Back
in the back of the day, that was crooning. It
was crooning back. That's back when we call. I don't
know too many people now that we say, man, she
(44:00):
can sign, because you know how we used to say that.
But you know, we say she's sing pretty good. You
know what I'm saying. She she can sing, you know,
but but but but but when we say somebody can sign,
it's a dif.
Speaker 21 (44:11):
Friend, Oregon has gas attending still Portland for sure.
Speaker 1 (44:20):
Okay.
Speaker 21 (44:22):
My name is Renee originally from Braley Frasier. Hey, Renee,

Speaker 1 (44:35):
You're welcome. Thank you for coming on in and checking
us out. We appreciate that very much. Let me go
back to the phones. See what you guys are talking
about on today w D I A Hello, Hey, I
ain't doing this red wing. I'm backtastic, so show enough.
Speaker 9 (44:53):
You know.
Speaker 13 (44:53):
I need to make this very very clear.
Speaker 17 (44:55):

but nothing like the Jackson File.
Speaker 18 (45:24):
That would never be another Jackson File. Lord, I must

We need it with all the stress and the pain
and oh God, everything's going on in the world and
in our families, in our community and our schools, our politics.

Speaker 14 (46:56):
You and Bill and I y'all bring so much joy

Speaker 17 (47:06):

Speaker 14 (47:07):
We just love your do. I want you to know that.
Speaker 1 (47:09):
Thank you, mister Rever. I appreciate you so much. Thank
you made me come on down to the village. Okay,
all right, I'm going to do it. I'm going through it.
Thank you for calling. Okay, all right, Yeah, talk about
bringing joy. I don't know if you guys saw the story,
but x A, I does this change your opinion about them?
(47:34):
X AI gave money to Memphis Shelby County schools. Mmm,
not only that they got people strung out all over
this city cleaning its place up. I kid you not.
Speaker 5 (47:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (47:52):
Commercial Appeal is talking about x Ai, which has set
roots here in Memphis to build up its super computer campuses.
Has helped Memphis Shelby County schools with HVAC upgrades and
other facilities needs, a representative from XAI said on today.
The representative said the company has visited JP Freeman Optional School,
(48:15):
Fairly High School, and Westwood High School, inspected HVAC and
plumbing systems, athletic fields and gyms, and put together a
large list of items and defects with principles and administration.
The schools are all located near the first data center
facility XAI established in Memphis. MSS has struggled with aging
(48:40):
infrastructure in many of its school buildings and is staring
down a one billion dollar bill. Oh my goodness, is
XAI gonna pay for that too? You know much brought
that money up in here, dinny, he said.
Speaker 2 (48:56):
Way.
Speaker 1 (48:56):
Hey, So they spent the day cleaning debris and trash
at Westwood High School in John P. Freeman. This is
what they posted on social media. We employ local businesses
to help us do this work. So there are businesses. Shot,
let me get my businesses. See if I can give
one new contract. I get out there, clean up some,
I clean up some my show will. So yeah, they're busy.
(49:20):
And I've seen a lot of people talking about a
lot of folks that have nonprofits that are actually helping
with the cleanup. And I think that's awesome. But does
it change your mind about having XAI in the city?
All right, mister Randy, says Jermaine Duprees reasoning is very flawed.
He says New Edition is the best group, but his
reasoning is based on the fact of how they did
(49:42):
as solo artists. That doesn't mean you are the best group.
The best group, which may be argued, is the Eagles
or Rolling Stones. Each went more than platinum, each sold
out stadiums across the world for decades, not just during
their era. What other group has done that. I ain't
(50:05):
gonna argue with Johanna because I don't know. Good Afternoon, Beautiful.
I do believe the writer of the letter should just
absolutely be honest with his wife and then call me.
I'm just for real. Integrity is everything that woman is
asking for it, all of it now, Stormy. They may
not offer full service at service gas stations. But if
(50:27):
you pull up with that black dress you had on
in that picture, girl, don't we talk about that black dress?
Speaker 8 (50:33):
Girl?
Speaker 1 (50:35):
Now you got me blushing. Anyway, you won't have an issue.
I ain't getting out the car, not in that dress, No, ma'am, No, ma'am, Stormy.
You will leave from the gas station full tank of gas, windows,
clean window cleaning, fluid, full oil, change, car painted at
a tune up. I'm just saying. As for the cheeseball
(50:58):
at Chuck E Cheese, he needs to get what's coming
to him. I just hate they didn't wait to arrest him.
That's what I was saying. And she says, the greatest
group of all time. It's earth, wind and fire now
shurewerth winding fire. As a matter of fact, which one
Verdin White? Whose birthday is it today? I'll tell you
about that a little bit later. African consultant says black
(51:20):
people are expected to act normal in an abnormal society.
This is a nuthouse, Stormy. To prove it. Look who's
running the country, Okay. Jerald says, they still pump gas
on Germantown Parkway and Poplar. Germantown Parkway and Poplar. What's
(51:41):
that gas? What gas station? Because Germantown Parkway and Poplar,
I don't know, it's a gash. You're talking about that
shell up there, the shell of the one across the
street from the shell. Mm hmm. They ain't never ask me,
can they pump my gas? Ms? Coach says, uh, sorry
to time back in, but they probably sold the schools
(52:04):
to Elon Musk. Also, now come on, now, come on
this coach, they ain't sold them schools. All right, let's
go back to the phone. See what y'all talking about
on this beautiful friday. W D I A hello, Hey,
what's going on?
Speaker 9 (52:18):
So on?
Speaker 1 (52:18):
What's going on?
Speaker 10 (52:19):
Coming?
Speaker 11 (52:20):
Man?
Speaker 14 (52:21):
Everything is good?
Speaker 9 (52:22):
Good?
Speaker 17 (52:23):
I mean, I'm a quit I'm a quitcher.
Speaker 1 (52:25):
With three of them right quick?
Speaker 17 (52:27):
I guess I guess about these groups? Now, whoever just
send you that email.
Speaker 12 (52:30):
Made a ballid pointed to prebate that upon solo artists,
So that don't even equate as a group. But right,
but I guess we have to say. Everybody will have
their own opinion. But I would just know way I
could put new addition before the Temptages, the Old Jays,
(52:52):
uh Madhattan's They'll find it, you know, and so many more.
Speaker 1 (52:58):
Yeah you know, so no way, no way. It's almost
to me a slap in the face to all the
old school groups because New Addition basically copied a lot
of what they did. Even their songs were remakes, many
of them and the music.
Speaker 17 (53:14):
I put it like this right here, wd I A
is one of the greatest stations in the nation.
Speaker 1 (53:19):
Right music.
Speaker 22 (53:21):
How much New Addition music is played on this station
versus those other groups kind of speak for itself, of
speak for itself.
Speaker 12 (53:32):
As far as the jail, if people are committing crimes,
lock them up.
Speaker 22 (53:37):
They have to deal with the situations when they.
Speaker 23 (53:39):
Get down there.
Speaker 12 (53:40):
But something has to be done about the jail, the condition,
because the state.
Speaker 17 (53:45):
Or the count whoever, is responsible for.
Speaker 12 (53:47):
Those inmates while they're locked up, So you have to
be you have to be aware of the fact that
you have. They're responsible for the welfare of those inmates.
So they have to do something whatever it is. I
don't know, but you can't just ignore what's going on
down there.
Speaker 17 (54:03):
I know they're understaffed.
Speaker 1 (54:04):
I know that for sure.
Speaker 12 (54:06):
Downtown end out at uh at the women jail. They
got the same problems out there. And then for the email,
I would tell my wife because that's gonna be a
problem either way it goes. It's gonna be a problem
between the two women, or it's gonna end up being
a problem between the wife and a husband. So I
would be the first to tell. And if you can't
get a recorder to prove it, then that's what I
(54:28):
would do. Because if she's dirty enough to backstab a friend,
she ain't gonna have no problem trying to cross him up.
That's where to come down to, right, you know.
Speaker 1 (54:37):
So I would I would.
Speaker 17 (54:37):
Definitely tell my wife vous him, and she'll be leave.
Speaker 12 (54:41):
My house too, because I'm not gonna let her wreck
wreck up my house. Yeah, all right, appreciate you.
Speaker 1 (54:47):
So, thank you coming man, appreciate you calling in. Thank
you so much. W d I A hello? How you doing.
Speaker 14 (54:57):
I'm glad I got thank you all mm hm you
in him?
Speaker 1 (55:02):
But look at us.
Speaker 10 (55:03):
Don't all this.
Speaker 24 (55:04):
Stuff about xai elon muss has been using for being
used for a decoy. What do you think about the
biggest computer in the world gonna do these So this
is federal government Pamies said, I doubt.
Speaker 12 (55:15):
This is Elonmos.
Speaker 11 (55:16):
They didn't use him for us cave go.
Speaker 24 (55:17):
But the fact of the matter that when if it
become a war and they didn't take this stuff over here,
that's the first thing they want to shut down the
power and the communicating system. And we so so glad
about thirty pieces of silver now. And when you talk
about the school with what they've done for school, Lee
Harris ran on that the first time he went and offered,
and then when it come up for the next term,
(55:38):
this terming in now he puts some little daycare sharing
on that about he's gonna change, editating this process for
his man speech was that he was going to change
you and our court where they come out and be
really visitable. He is ain't gonna stop on this crime
until they start rehabilitating.
Speaker 5 (55:55):
And he spoke, the power to be.
Speaker 24 (55:57):
Is paying them on the table not to help us
as a people.
Speaker 19 (56:00):
And they know it.
Speaker 13 (56:01):
These folks getting.
Speaker 24 (56:02):
Paid big money downtown down there to run in e jail,
you see. And when you're talk about letting people down
of jail, these big bail bones and company, I think
the state of somebody behind that they paying these folks
now who you take somebody here and taking somebody's suff
I ain't got no money, got nothing. How he gonna
get a high profile lawyer like them than ballot board
somebody paying them folks.
Speaker 17 (56:22):
Get these folks idea.
Speaker 24 (56:23):
These folks ain't just got They didn't call no turn
Who's sending them down there?
Speaker 17 (56:27):
It ain't just the DA and the judges.
Speaker 24 (56:29):
See, we got to look at things for more than
one way and stop depending on some money. That's what
sold Jesus out thirty piece of silver.
Speaker 9 (56:36):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (56:36):
So you don't think it's a good idea or that
hasn't changed your mind about x Ai.
Speaker 24 (56:41):
No, I haven't changed because you ever have some money
and they fini to drop a bomb on the place.
Speaker 9 (56:47):
Wow.
Speaker 24 (56:47):
Think about the Bible plan instead of just just a communication.
Speaker 1 (56:51):
Plan for a few dollars.
Speaker 24 (56:53):
M I mean, y'all got to think about more than that.
We it ain't just all about money, right, And when
these last days, all this stuff are coming right for
these fall propheties and stuff like I said in the
White Isle and their where these folks trying to.
Speaker 1 (57:06):
Take us back out? We the chosen people.
Speaker 24 (57:09):
They trying to take us out.
Speaker 5 (57:10):
You gotta do it.
Speaker 17 (57:11):
Reach a Bible and then assured it.
Speaker 24 (57:13):
Now and they're trying to take us out any way.
They get even in medication, they test us on it,
they get ninety sevenmacentity. This stuff from China Town won
about ten years ago.
Speaker 14 (57:23):
But h she Rock crushed up.
Speaker 24 (57:25):
Shea Rock and Castle appeals and stay over into this country.
And they started messing with these folks about tariffs and
all this stuff, and then set about all this stuff
on them. But they want to test up with the
drug when they come here to.
Speaker 1 (57:37):
Make sure it don't do nothing to them. We got
to look at that thing more on one.
Speaker 24 (57:41):
Way and stop being ignorant on something, you know. But
we don't be destroyed because the lack of knowledge. Wow,
and thirty pieces of silvers, what's gonna get it?
Speaker 8 (57:49):
So our resume tass on that.
Speaker 1 (57:50):
All right, Thank you so much for calling, and I
appreciate your calling on today. Mmmmmm w d I A hello.
Speaker 16 (57:56):
Now you know what the Book of Revelation do times
magic EGL the Bear and the drag.
Speaker 1 (58:04):
So yeah, brother got him.
Speaker 17 (58:06):
We need to listen.
Speaker 1 (58:08):
How you doing storming, I'm doing good, miss k How
you doing? I'm okay? I want to I don't know
I don't do this.
Speaker 16 (58:14):
But yesterday they were talking about Memphis and West mumphis
calming man. Now had he been actually listening? What I
said was he said it was a connection between West
Memphis and Memphis. At the age of seventy three decades,
I've heard people ask me out of town, it's Memphis
(58:35):
and West Memphis the same.
Speaker 1 (58:36):
I'm like, you did say that. I did hear you
say that, but I thought you were saying it because
of what he said.
Speaker 15 (58:43):
No, I don't know.
Speaker 17 (58:43):
I made an assimilation because of what he said.
Speaker 1 (58:46):
Oh but I never did say or nor did I.
Speaker 16 (58:48):
In thirty he had said that Wes Memphis Loo was
in Tennessee and not in Arkansas.
Speaker 1 (58:53):
You know what, because maybe me and him heard you
the same way because I thought that's what you said too, So.
Speaker 14 (58:59):
Min I know you're in the same way too.
Speaker 1 (59:00):
I'm shame on your birth my biologies. Miss Kay. I'm sorry.
Speaker 17 (59:06):
Right, Okay, have a good weekend.
Speaker 1 (59:08):
Thank you so much, you two, Okay, all right, Okay,
calling in Miss Lucille K trying. Hey, Miss Lucille, just
want to say to you, our gorgeous queen, we love you.
Enjoy your weekend. Wonderful weekend. You know how the Pillsbury doboy.
You know how that when they touching them in the stomachs.
(59:31):
That's how some of y'all emails are you making me feel?
It made me feel like that. W D I A
l O.
Speaker 17 (59:38):
Hello, Hello, Hello, sweet, Hello, Lady p I.
Speaker 25 (59:48):
Can't I can't change my boss Dollie.
Speaker 4 (59:52):
We know you, girl, We know you, yes, but you
know what, at.
Speaker 25 (59:57):
Least I can't do like, but at least some people
can't do it, you know, yes, please, I want y.
Speaker 4 (01:00:09):
Yeah, sending loper, sending girls just won't have fun. I'm
so gladinating and it's beautiful hot, beautiful pride and thank
god is fry.
Speaker 1 (01:00:21):
I'm so glad you're doing good and you're safe where.
Speaker 3 (01:00:24):
You are feeling pretty good. Say hey to my man, ma'am.
You know I speaking of my man, ma'am. Man was
tell me tell you to put some black pepper in
your yard?
Speaker 1 (01:00:36):
Did black pepper or cayenne pepper?
Speaker 4 (01:00:40):
Ma'am? Ben he said black PILLI or red pepper? Cats
after yard?
Speaker 1 (01:00:47):
Okay, Okay, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (01:00:49):
I don't but I know I don't get to have
a dog.
Speaker 3 (01:00:53):
But anyway, you know, you know now you got to
know that people have dogs, you know, and they and
they taking for a walk and sometimes they want to
run in people yard.
Speaker 4 (01:01:02):
And why they come to your yard, I don't know
so well why.
Speaker 3 (01:01:05):
They Maybe maybe they think, you know what, dogs and cancelsmart,
you know, they really are, and they probably said, oh,
this job is clean, it's mad good and you know
you probably look at it, look at all friend, and
so they just decide they want to come over there.
Speaker 1 (01:01:20):
You know, they want to you know, but they want
to be in my really plush green grass.
Speaker 3 (01:01:29):
That's that's what I'm saying. I heard you saying. So
I mean they be like, well, we want to go
somewhere where you know, they might even.
Speaker 25 (01:01:35):
Want to have the fun, you know what I mean, Yes, ma'am,
Let they take this.
Speaker 4 (01:01:43):
That guy didn't get a man absolutely right here. I
don't know that guy that was top about you know.
Speaker 3 (01:01:49):
We you know what members that I'm gonna get started.
Member is just a hungred height and said city. And
I hate to say I failed to that, because that's
all we money hungry.
Speaker 4 (01:01:59):
If you got some money can be anything, you can
go them get out. You walk in the front door
and walk out the back.
Speaker 5 (01:02:04):
You know.
Speaker 4 (01:02:05):
My thing is this though, like the guy was talking about.
Speaker 3 (01:02:07):
How would he give you high dollar ve uh these
high dollar lords for real?
Speaker 10 (01:02:11):
You know?
Speaker 3 (01:02:12):
And my thing is sold. You know why we got
to wait so long for them to go to trial?
Why why is all this? And then they talking about
this guy is spend money.
Speaker 11 (01:02:19):
You know what.
Speaker 4 (01:02:19):
This guy gave a whole lot of money to the city.
Come on, bring you here some closer.
Speaker 19 (01:02:22):
The rail up.
Speaker 4 (01:02:23):
Y'all know who got the money.
Speaker 3 (01:02:24):
They didn't gave you money to do all things.
Speaker 4 (01:02:26):
So so you know we can go to members. Because
missers wanted dumb and.
Speaker 3 (01:02:29):
Sent it to me, Lord to give me in the world,
I promise this, you know, I said there and listened
to Uh.
Speaker 4 (01:02:35):
Now I'm gonna say this right here now. I know
people know this because Bible Ojay said.
Speaker 3 (01:02:40):
Man, he rest some people and I'll never forgive when
he said, and I'm talking about the gorilla gorill, young lady,
you got some raffles out here that you know, when
they want to get publicity out there, they do things
like this just to get attention. Now, if you think
about it, think about it, because this stupid.
Speaker 4 (01:02:55):
Thing that they said that she's spoken done. You know
what I mean, and you know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (01:02:59):
And then all of a sudden she gets out and
you know, everybody want to know she's gonna be in
the fenish on. Okay, all this money that she brings in,
y'all want.
Speaker 4 (01:03:05):
What y'all gonna do with this?
Speaker 19 (01:03:06):
Michael?
Speaker 4 (01:03:07):
We need it.
Speaker 3 (01:03:07):
We need this micac cause we're our cities looks looks ridiculous,
you know what I mean. But like this man said,
you telling people to come and clean up by our city,
that's what they're doing.
Speaker 4 (01:03:16):
They're paying them.
Speaker 3 (01:03:17):
They're paying people to do things for our schools. I mean,
they get people from other places, you know what I'm saying,
to come.
Speaker 4 (01:03:22):
And take care of our city.
Speaker 3 (01:03:24):
You know, I don't understaying, you know, and like you
got some money, how you you don't want to think
about the money. You need to think about your lives.
Speaker 4 (01:03:30):
That's going on. Our lives are in jeopardy. Stressing here
and message.
Speaker 3 (01:03:34):
You know what I mean, Because I say it's some
may I'm gonna say it again. If we ever have
a big disaster, we're in trouble because our cities it's
not you know, it's not ready. This is a lot
of things that we need.
Speaker 4 (01:03:45):
We're not ready for them, and we're in trouble. We're
gonna be in trouble.
Speaker 3 (01:03:49):
So it's gonna take like they're gonna tell a lot
of friends, and we're gonna have to continue to pray,
you know, and we need to pray hard right now anyway,
because our cities is really in trouble, our children are
in trouble. And you're talking about the jail, your houses
and everything so on. And let me ask you a question.
Speaker 4 (01:04:05):
I'm gonna let you go. When I started talking, I
can't stop.
Speaker 3 (01:04:07):
I want to hear your email again.
Speaker 4 (01:04:09):
I'm gonna let you know. I just want to hear
your song.
Speaker 3 (01:04:10):
I want to have a great weekend song and be careful,
be so terrible, and I hope to see you Monday.
And I want to say condoss again to a saying
bel wife colar and and I hope to have great weekend.
Speaker 5 (01:04:21):
And saw me.
Speaker 4 (01:04:22):
I hope you have a wonderful weekend, lady girl.
Speaker 14 (01:04:28):
You know.
Speaker 3 (01:04:29):
So when I stopped talking, when I can't stop already,
I I want to get off great.
Speaker 4 (01:04:32):
Yes, when I want you to tell me, lady, I
want you to say, I get out the girl. You
will stop talking.
Speaker 1 (01:04:36):
Okay, lady, and she's gone, yeah, mm hmmm.
Speaker 8 (01:04:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:04:50):
You.
Speaker 1 (01:04:50):
On the one hand, it is good to to give
back to a community, especially a community that you are
now in. And on the other hand too a lot
of people, For a lot of us, perception is reality.
If we feel like you're not, you know, doing us
(01:05:12):
well and there's an issue with how we are breathing
and pollution in our air. If we feel like that,
or if we feel like we know that, you know,
there ain't no change in some folks' minds whether you
give us money or not. Some people feel that way.
(01:05:34):
So ah, but perception is not always reality. So I
don't know what Elon Musk will do will to help
us be more secure, other than you know, helping our
schools because the schools do need it. Now, we can't
say the schools don't need it.
Speaker 9 (01:05:51):
They need it.
Speaker 1 (01:05:55):
But are we for sale? All right? We were back
in a moment, you guys, We're gonna come back and
talk to you. I see you, guys. On hold, we'll
be back coming up outside. So hot, honey. Somebody's dog
almost died today in the car. People in Memphis are outraged.
(01:06:15):
It happen downtown. Yeah, I don't know if the police
broke the windows or how they got that dog, you know,
to safety. But at any rate, I saw them feeding
the dog and everything, trying to get that dog some water,
trying to save that dog. Yeah, so anyway, it's hot.
Just FYI. But you guys are tapping in on the
(01:06:36):
iHeartRadio app too.
Speaker 23 (01:06:38):
If Memphis of one of the dumbest city, why would
you consider to continue to stay here. You might well
pack your beads and go to a city today. Dog,
Because that sound done. You're saying Memphis is one of
the dumbest city. I would never put it on radio
like that, right there? Something wrong with you?
Speaker 1 (01:06:56):
Well that's her opinion. Now, okay, Memphis man. Everyone knows
that the Fannkadelic is the best group ever. Okay, and
Stormy don't ever take gifts from the devil talking about Musk.
The real question is what is driving the people to
commit crimes. I know people who have committed crimes go
(01:07:18):
just you know, go to jail. You get three meals
and a cot, free medical three meals a day, no
wife to obey. Why should I run away? Going to
jail as a badge of honor? It ain't no last days, Stormy.
It depends on whose eyes you see the world through.
I see the world through Africanized and my world is
(01:07:42):
coming up all right? Hm, My girl Merredith, she tapped in.
She well, she emailed in, tell this man to man
up talking about the house sitter. Okay, So Wama is
she's having some you know, health issues, and she told
her husband she needed somebody to come in, you know,
help produce work around the house. And he insisted as well,
(01:08:02):
so at any rate that she said, I got the
perfect but he said, I'm gonna let you handle it.
She said, I got the perfect person.
Speaker 4 (01:08:07):
I love her.
Speaker 1 (01:08:08):
I want her to come do it for me, and
she can help me with some other things too. Anyway,
so she's coming in, she's helping them around the house,
but she's also trying to help her with her husband.
And he told her, he said, now, if you keep on,
I'm gonna tell you. I'm gonna tell my wife. And
she basically told him okay, she hadn't stopped basically, so
he's like, what do I do here? Well, how does
he how do you handle it? He hadn't told her yet,
(01:08:31):
how do you handle it? So Meredith says, tell this
man to mad up. There's no need to tell the
wife anything at this point. Tell that helpful to leave
their house and never come back. Tell her if my
wife contact you, make up anything you want to, as
long as you had to leave, or I'll tell her
(01:08:52):
what a backstabber you are. I will find her somewhere else. Now,
on the other hand, do you think the wife set
him up? Hmmm? Or set them up to be together.
Maybe she feels she is dying and wants to hand
pick his wife. Hmmm. Didn't think about it like that.
Speaker 5 (01:09:14):
All.
Speaker 1 (01:09:14):
Let's go back to the phones to see what you're
talking about on today.
Speaker 17 (01:09:19):
W D I A hello, don't stare me nothing much?
Speaker 1 (01:09:23):
Man? How you doing going? How are you good with
I'm doing good?
Speaker 2 (01:09:28):
Let me make this quick so AI, let's put out this.
So when I stayed the spring violet duwpoort would have
accelerators and each night would burn the next day we'll
have pollen every well. So that's a tell tale sad
for the poor people down there. And throw turn by
is doing the problem or got to do? Looking at
vegetation and you'll see you gotta lock me up. Pollom
(01:09:49):
guarantee it is doing to the atmosphere. Now, I got
a question for you.
Speaker 5 (01:09:53):
You in your house?
Speaker 1 (01:09:56):
Do I have an AI? I don't know if I
got AI. I didn't. I didn't bring it up in
as what you if that's what you try.
Speaker 2 (01:10:03):
So I got one say, don't get telephone.
Speaker 8 (01:10:06):
You do all you get all tonight, go your give
your cell phone and said, where's my A?
Speaker 2 (01:10:12):
I compare you gonna pull up your tail, Poe.
Speaker 9 (01:10:16):
Girl, love you?
Speaker 5 (01:10:18):
Bye bye?
Speaker 1 (01:10:19):
What so my cell phone's gonna tell me if I
got a I in the crib, I probably do. W
D I A Hello Hello, w d I A hello Hello? Storm?
Speaker 9 (01:10:31):
Hey there Hey all right, Wow, that was quick.
Speaker 1 (01:10:36):
That was great.
Speaker 9 (01:10:39):
This is William Man. I wanted to say that Frankie
w and Maid was best group.
Speaker 1 (01:10:47):
M come on.
Speaker 9 (01:10:50):
And on the prisons. See that's the thing about you know.
And I'm gonna say the white thing. That's what he does.
Speaker 19 (01:10:59):
He said, we're gonna go in there, the Fed's gonna
going down, We're gonna straighten.
Speaker 9 (01:11:02):
It this out.
Speaker 14 (01:11:03):
So they come in, arrest a bunch of people.
Speaker 19 (01:11:06):
And seemed like crime goes down, but we have nowhere
to put them, which is exactly what the mayor and
everybody else is just saying, you know, for decades, is
y'all not giving us enough money in order to be
able to build what we need to incarcerate what we need.
So we now have to release them because we have
no where to put them. We can't let them just
(01:11:27):
sleep in the bathroo room on the bathroom floor. So
we have to release them, and then crime goes back
to where it was. But the Fed came in, Look
at what we did.
Speaker 8 (01:11:37):
We straightened them out.
Speaker 9 (01:11:38):
Now they got to just keep it like that.
Speaker 8 (01:11:40):
But they didn't straighten it out.
Speaker 9 (01:11:42):
They just created another problem.
Speaker 19 (01:11:45):
And then we're gonna go back to the original problem
once that problem is dealt with. So yeah, they're gonna
go back and have they chant out. But they've done
nothing for us with the federal So uh, that's all

And they tell you about the accidents all over the work,
all over the city. And we used to have a
commercial dealing with cigarettes when you smoke, you know, storm
and things like that help a lot.
Speaker 9 (01:12:59):
M You know, we need to do the.
Speaker 11 (01:13:01):
Technology to educate people and then deal with the poverty.
That's our two main problems in this city, education and poverty.
Once we past that, so I think we got away
from making things fatter for us because we got a
(01:13:22):
lot of igor enough out here and we got a
lot of poor people. It wasn't like that when I was.
