VP, Oh my goodness, VIP came out to see me too.
I left a little early, so I don't know if
any other of you guys came out, because I had
to get out of there a little early this past
Friday to continue celebrating my birthday. Plus I had a
lot going on this weekend. I don't know if y'
all know, but there's a lot going on in Memphis,

or was going on. There's a lot going on this weekend,
a whole lot going on. And I feel like I
was working every day. Every day. I had something to do.
Took a little drive down to Helena West Helena. I
was looking for Queen while I was down there. I
didn't see her, but that was a nice trip to
go down there and see that town and meet some

of the beautiful people that I met down there. Yeah,
it is September second. By the way, did I say
that on this Tuesday? Did I even tell you what's
special about today? Or maybe not be special to you?
But today is VJ Day. It's also National Blueberry Popsicle Day.
Y'all know what VJ Day is. This is the day

that recognize it is rather Allied Forces victory over Japan
during the World War II. If you're wondering about there
being two days, you're right. While officials announced the surrender
of Japan to the Allies on August fifteenth, the official
signing to surrender took place on September second. Yeah, so

today it's VJ Day.

When a lot of people came together, a lot of
people supported each other, and a lot of people came there,
ate good food and drinks and we were able to
vibe back, I have a good time and still make
it home safe and that what matters.

things that happened, they just overshadow everything. And that's that's
not just in Memphis. That's everywhere you go. There's always
good stuff. How you know, there's good stuff happening in

the weekend, I mean, they had some terrible news come
out of Chicago. I saw a report where they said
that fifty four people were were shot and I think
seven people had died.

I also saw the report where Donald Trump said, we
going in to Chicago. They're going in. Mm hmm, that's
what he said. He said we're going in. I didn't
say when, but we're going in. And today I'm gonna
tell you when he made that announcement, I guess I
heard big kahuna this morning. I just I thought maybe

that was it was gonna be a you know, because
he heard that people were saying he was dead over
the weak. He heard about it, but he flipped that
thing on us when they asked him about it.

with his hand. We don't know what that is, but

to you gotta stop being one of those clickbait people
and only reading the headlines and repeating the headlines. You
know why, because the headlines don't give you the whole story.
Read the story, do a little research about it. So Omar,
you know, her net worth has grown. She said she

wasn't a millionaire, but according to the story that I
saw on y'all, who knews her net worth has grown
anywhere from I think they said five million to thirty million.
But in the report it's her husband. He got two
business two businesses that have grown. He got a winery

and he's got something else, and the businesses have grown.
So that meant their networth grew, But doesn't mean that
her net well you know, I well, when you're married,
was his is hers and what's hers is hers? So yeah,
her net worth grew, but it ain't like some people think.

But in her case, from what I read, it looks
like her husband is the rich one, and so that
made her rich because what is his is hers and

you see it? Forty two year old Samanthem Marion. She
was still out on bond, by the way, one hundred
thousand dollars bond. She's still out. Her charges have been upgraded. Yeah,
Now it's gone from voluntary manslaughter to second degree murder,

employment of a firearm with the intent to commit a felony,
and reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon.

There's going to be a trial and we will get

have now three charges instead of that one she got three,

But I believe that the enhancement of the charges has
opened more room for this defendant to be found not

seriously believe when we're when we were talking about a

form of manslaughter, that there was some type of that
there was some type of provocation from the victim, and
with the world seeing it, I believe a reasonable person
might agree that this person did provoke this other person
in some shape form of fashion. I believe a Jerry
would would agree to that. And so the fact that

they have enhanced these charges to appease his supporters, then
it's it will it will turn out the way that
it will turn out.

You don't believe that maybe they saw more evidence to
point that direction than we know to upgrade those charges.

establish some some evidence to enhance charges. But I certainly
believe that this. The officers that responded saw the video. Okay,
they are they are trained, uh In the initial charges
for months were only, uh a charge that that included

But do they come up with those charges or is
that the district attorney who comes up with the charges?

Well, well, the officers only reported what they saw on
the video and and and then after they brought this
in front of some you know, citizens consistent maintained building
up making up this grand jury, then they they enhanced
those charges. But my point is that I believe that
there was pressure on the district attorney's office because he

openly announced that it was one of his beloved friends. Okay,
he openly announced it.

So but you know, I did not know if it's
if it's his office that's hadling it or whatnot. But

I am not opposed to President Trump using the National
Guard in Memphis if he, if he, you know, believes
there is reason because you know, the not on one day,

in the beginning. Yet after later on, as ex Jadge
pointed out earlier today, it was complete chaos. It was
complete chaos later on. And so there we have it again.

chaos or was there one situation that was chaotic? Because
from from what I saw, there was one situation that was.

not opposed to him using it. I am not saying
that that will settle the problem. But my question more
is is that if they use the National Guard, then
what what will they have them doing? What will be
their plan, what will be their strategies. I think that's
that's the real question, because just putting them just present

a good time yesterday at the Western Courtside Grill.

So just imagine you come to Memphis yesterday, and especially
if you came for Nino one day and you weren't
involved in any other mess that was going on, But
especially if you came for Nino one day, you had
yourself a good time. The food is really, oh my goodness, food,

But you know what I saw this morning in the news.

I was telling you guys about the guy who robbed
Kentucky Fried Chicken, two of them, by the way, and
where it is. He got away with the cash register
at one of the KFC's, and then the other KFC
he rummaged the office, and then he left with a
bucket of chicken. You know, when I first read that,

I thought I chuckled a little bit because I'm like,
he left with the chicken. But to be honest with you,
the way things are going right now, I had to
tell you, I'm a little I don't want to be nervous,
I don't want to be afraid or anything like that,
but but stories like that, because was he hungry? Is

that why he robbed KFC? What is going on? Does
he know that there are food pantries all over the place,
you know, because there are a lot of them. Was
he just somebody just trying to get into trouble?

and on the grand juredy you get to see all
the facts at the public don't see yet. So that
is exactly why those charges got upgraded to a second
degree murder.

something we don't see? Kelsey emailed and said, I disagree
with brother Bernard regarding the case with Samantha and the pastor.
I do think that the DA is overcharging her just
to get a guilty verdict. That is just us not

he said. This person says, I do not think the
DA is overcharging her just to get a guilty verdict.

I think the state has discovered more evidence which simply
leads to more charges. As far as the National Guard,
their presence is definitely needed. This crime is wreaking havoc
on the city despite the success of nine on one day,
and something or a better approach is needed to tackle
the crime. Something different or more aggressive needs to take

What I have learned about the charges is the prosecutor
can add as many charges or whatever charges they want.
It's what is proven in court, in the court of

daughter came to me and she said, Mama, need to
go to the hospital. I did not believe her. She
had no emotion on her face at all. I didn't
believe her, and so she said, can you take me

helped me to know my daughter better. So she asked
my sister to take her to the hospital. My sister
took her to the hospital. And my sister came home
and I said, without my daughter, And I said, where
