Speaker 1 (00:06):
I saw Nurse Beverlely twice this weekend.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Nurse Beverly came by my birthday party over the weekend
this Friday night, So thank.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
You Nurse Beverly. She looked so good.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Let me tell you, every time Boots on the Ground
came on, you know what she did, She put.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Them boots on the ground.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
We had such a good time, oh my goodness, Friday night,
and then we had a fabulous time on yesterday.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
And King Harry, Oh what's up?

Speaker 2 (00:32):
VP, Oh my goodness, VIP came out to see me too.
I left a little early, so I don't know if
any other of you guys came out, because I had
to get out of there a little early this past
Friday to continue celebrating my birthday. Plus I had a
lot going on this weekend. I don't know if y'
all know, but there's a lot going on in Memphis,

(00:52):
or was going on. There's a lot going on this weekend,
a whole lot going on. And I feel like I
was working every day. Every day. I had something to do.
Took a little drive down to Helena West Helena. I
was looking for Queen while I was down there. I
didn't see her, but that was a nice trip to
go down there and see that town and meet some

(01:14):
of the beautiful people that I met down there. Yeah,
it is September second. By the way, did I say
that on this Tuesday? Did I even tell you what's
special about today? Or maybe not be special to you?
But today is VJ Day. It's also National Blueberry Popsicle Day.
Y'all know what VJ Day is. This is the day

(01:35):
that recognize it is rather Allied Forces victory over Japan
during the World War II. If you're wondering about there
being two days, you're right. While officials announced the surrender
of Japan to the Allies on August fifteenth, the official
signing to surrender took place on September second. Yeah, so

(01:58):
today it's VJ Day.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Shout out to all of those in the military that
have served this great country.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
You are the real MVPs for sure. Okay, So.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Nine on one day, for those of you that know
it was, it was electric.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
It was special.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
There was a lot of good that happened downtown on yesterday.
So much so that a lot of the folks that
were downtown, you know, they they spoke about you know,
nine on one day and how.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Our special it actually was.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
To the Memphians that have gone on to you know,
have big names, they have big names, or they've gone
on to Garner big names.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
They spoke to w R E. G. Yeah hee.

Speaker 5 (02:45):
The moments are the moments that need to be highlighted.
When a lot of people came together, a lot of
people supported each other, and a lot of people came there,
ate good food and drinks and we were able to
vibe back, I have a good time and still make
it home safe and that what matters.

Speaker 6 (02:58):
You know.

Speaker 7 (02:58):
We got our homes, our all swag, our all staff.

Speaker 8 (03:03):
Like I always say, nobody can be.

Speaker 6 (03:04):
Mere for whatever.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Okay, that's little chat. And before that was Kate Carbon
and Kia Shine was there too.

Speaker 9 (03:10):
I think that's really our responsibility, man, not to celebrate
the negative mentality. I had to celebrate that, bro, but
to live up individuals that are positive and putting a
good light on the city. And me and my partner
we're going to project pat Hesus going to jails and
you know what I'm saying, We just tell the guys
don't give up, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 10 (03:30):
And we let the people know.

Speaker 11 (03:32):
We go to community centers and different places.

Speaker 10 (03:34):
You know what I'm saying. We don't just go.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
Here do we go everywhere?

Speaker 11 (03:37):
So you know, man, we just.

Speaker 6 (03:39):
Just to keep it positive, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 11 (03:40):
Let people know that they if they still breathing, they.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Got to change. I know, that's right.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
Project pat Man on the stage yesterday.

Speaker 7 (03:48):
He.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Offered people the opportunity to come to christ.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
He did from the stage show did at nine on
one day last night. It was a good look for
the city, and you wouldn't know if you didn't come.
I'm just gonna try to tell you it was a
good look for the city of Memphis. Unfortunately, there were
some things that happened last night, but that had nothing
to do with not on one day because now it

(04:17):
was over, the events were over, you know what I'm saying.
But yeah, it was it. Sometimes, you know, the bad
things that happened, they just overshadow everything. And that's that's
not just in Memphis. That's everywhere you go. There's always
good stuff. How you know, there's good stuff happening in
Chicago come on, now, you know there is. But over

(04:39):
the weekend, I mean, they had some terrible news come
out of Chicago. I saw a report where they said
that fifty four people were were shot and I think
seven people had died.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
Did y'all see that report.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
I also saw the report where Donald Trump said, we
going in to Chicago. They're going in. Mm hmm, that's
what he said. He said we're going in. I didn't
say when, but we're going in. And today I'm gonna
tell you when he made that announcement, I guess I
heard big kahuna this morning. I just I thought maybe

(05:17):
that was it was gonna be a you know, because
he heard that people were saying he was dead over
the weak. He heard about it, but he flipped that
thing on us when they asked him about it.

Speaker 11 (05:28):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
But I thought his announcement was going to be something
else because you know, as you know, there's something happening
with his hand. We don't know what that is, but
you know, people are speculating. I don't know, uh, but
there's something going on with that at any red, It
was not the announcement that.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
Some people had hoped for.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
It was not, uh, the announcement was about you know
something else, and yep, big Cohnan, I know you're probably
not happy about that, but it wasn't what you thought
it was gonna be.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
Yeah. He made an announcement with this that.

Speaker 12 (06:01):
The US Space Command headquarters will move to the beautiful
locale of a place called Huntsville, Alabama.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Okay, Huntsville, y'all about to come up, y'all about to
come up?

Speaker 1 (06:17):
Yeah, And I'm.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
Gonna tell you I think the politicians, you know, I
feel bad for them, and then in some ways for
you know, some of them, and then in some ways
I'm like, y'all literally be coming up because I read
a report from Anya Yahoo News about Omar and I know,
I know she's part of the squad in DC, and

(06:40):
I know people are saying, when that's why you got
to you gotta stop being one of those clickbait people
and only reading the headlines and repeating the headlines. You
know why, because the headlines don't give you the whole story.
Read the story, do a little research about it. So Omar,
you know, her net worth has grown. She said she

(07:01):
wasn't a millionaire, but according to the story that I
saw on y'all, who knews her net worth has grown
anywhere from I think they said five million to thirty million.
But in the report it's her husband. He got two
business two businesses that have grown. He got a winery

(07:22):
and he's got something else, and the businesses have grown.
So that meant their networth grew, But doesn't mean that
her net well you know, I well, when you're married,
was his is hers and what's hers is hers? So yeah,
her net worth grew, but it ain't like some people think.
Even though sometimes them politicians be getting wealthy and we'll

(07:42):
be wondering how they get so wealthy, what what they do?
But in her case, from what I read, it looks
like her husband is the rich one, and so that
made her rich because what is his is hers and
what is hers he's hers? Okay, oh my goodness, our

(08:06):
gay fellas. I okay, fine, but it's true. Was yours
as ours and what was ours as ours? Y'all better
get with it. And a lot of you men you
already know that. I don't even have to tell you
that you already know. So the rock, did y'all see him?
After staying talked about him this morning, I had to
go look at a picture, and I saw the picture
and I was like, oh my goodness, what in the.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
World scared me a little bit?

Speaker 10 (08:32):
Thin?

Speaker 1 (08:33):
He's thin, So I'm like, why is he so thin?

Speaker 2 (08:36):
Come to find out, Dwayne the Rock Johnson is showing
off his weight loss for a new role at the
Venice Film Festival.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
So it's a roll, y'all.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
Now, somebody told me that maybe he lost the weight
because of what happened with Hulk Hogan, you know, and
you know, after you put so much stuff in your
body and y'all, you know all that stuff over the years,
you know, you gotta you know, it's gonna it's bound
to do some kind of damage.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
I don't know if he's doing that.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
I'm not saying that, Dwayne, because you know I love you, Okay,
But I'm gonna tell you this new role that he's
doing for this some let me see, uh. Smashing Machine
is the name of the movie. And y'all, they say
that movie is good. They say this is some of
the best acting that Dwayne the Rock Johnson has ever done.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
That's what they said.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
Now, I didn't go see it, and I'm just wondering,
Prince Charles, did you go see highest to Lois, because
I heard Highest to Lois was not. If you've seen it,
call me tell me what you think about it, because
I heard, Well, I'm gonna hold up on what I
heard about Highest to Lois.

Speaker 1 (09:40):
I'm gonna hold up on that.

Speaker 7 (09:43):
Well.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
Let's swing right on around here to Memphis. Mmmm.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
That woman accused in the shooting death of Memphis pastor
Ricky Floyd. She's been invited on new charges. Y'all did
you see it? Forty two year old Samanthem Marion. She
was still out on bond, by the way, one hundred
thousand dollars bond. She's still out. Her charges have been upgraded. Yeah,
Now it's gone from voluntary manslaughter to second degree murder,

(10:14):
employment of a firearm with the intent to commit a felony,
and reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon.

Speaker 4 (10:25):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
Do y'all think they got it right this time? I'm
just curious about what some people are thinking about that one.
Do you think that they got those charges right this time?
There's going to be a trial and we will get
to hear everything, but the grand jury. Yeah, they indicted

(10:51):
her second degree murder, and evidently they may have heard
some things. Maybe we don't know about for her to
have now three charges instead of that one she got three,
So what do y'all think about those new charges?

Speaker 1 (11:07):
Hm?

Speaker 2 (11:09):
And we're probably many of us will just wait to
see what happens in that situation because we don't know,
you know what I'm saying. We don't know many because
we wasn't there, even though a lot of us have
in our own way figured out exactly what happened. We've
watched the video and we believe we know what happened.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
But do we.

Speaker 4 (11:33):
Hmm?

Speaker 2 (11:34):
And do they know the grand jury? Do they know
a little bit more than we do? And will it
come out and trial? It's gonna be interesting, definitely going
to be interesting. I don't know if you guys saw
it over the weekend, but did you see And I'm
not talking about Naomi Osaka and Coco? Even though I

(11:56):
hate I missed that, I know that was good. Congratulations Naomi.
She beat Coco. But I don't know if you guys
saw the CEO that was at the tennis match that
took the hat from the kid.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
Did y'all see that?

Speaker 2 (12:15):
Okay, the tennis player he's playing and he's handing the
hat to the kid. And guess who took it? A
CEO of a company. And the first comment I saw
from the CEO was, I was like, you what, what?

Speaker 7 (12:36):
What?

Speaker 2 (12:38):
Some things you just you can't make up. Some things
you can't make up. You just can't do it. But
when I saw the first do y'all think that ceo
was wrong when he took that hat? Took the hat
from the kid because it looked like the you know,
the player was literally when you see that video, the
player was literally giving that hat to that young man.

Speaker 1 (13:02):
He took it. He took that act he did m
m m. Should he have kept it? Because that, you know,
he was he was talking. He was talking strong.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
At first, you know, talking about he you know, you
gotta be fast or some kind of stuff like that.
He was saying, he was talking strong at first. He
released the statement about it and everriffing mmm mmmm. And
for those of you that don't know the update on that,
I'm gonna I'm gonna tell you the update on that.

Speaker 1 (13:39):
But but what do y'all think?

Speaker 2 (13:42):
And since Donald Trump is headed to Chicago, do y'all
think the Memphis is next? Hmmm mmm. Okay, we're gonna
talk about a few more things. But uh, we're gonna
get started right there. So let me go to the
phones and see what you guys are talking about on
this too. Those day September second w D I A hello, well.

Speaker 4 (14:06):
Welcome back summer.

Speaker 2 (14:08):
How you I'm good.

Speaker 1 (14:10):
Black and serving it? How you doing?

Speaker 4 (14:13):
I'm doing? Okay? I see y'all. I had your nine
o one hot spot day yesterday?

Speaker 1 (14:19):
What does that mean? Hot spot day? What does that
mean y'all?

Speaker 4 (14:23):
Y'all? I got to give y'all credit. Y'all did y'all
did pretty good yesterday until late late that night. Then
your cousin they got out of control on bill screen.
Did you see that video?

Speaker 2 (14:34):
I did, But that ain't got nothing to do with me,
and that ain't got nothing to do with nine o
one day.

Speaker 4 (14:40):
I say, I give you credit. I just said, y'all
did good until the sun went down. Then they tended
to vent pile. But let me say this here. Yeah,
but anyway, let me move on from that here, all right.
I asked one of your questions, Uh, the lady is
innocent until proven give you in a quarter law on

(15:00):
the Ricky Floyd case. Pass the floor case, because it's
more to that picture than what Missa, I why.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
Do you think we are? It's always with us. It's
a lot of us.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
Rather it's guilty until proven innocent instead of the way around.

Speaker 4 (15:17):
Well, because you said it right, most people just read
the morning headline of the news, but they don't go
beyond that and get the facts. The news is just
in business, and newspapers just in business to make a profit.
So they're gonna give you this, Yeah, this little catchphrase,
you know, I see it all the time on mh
end website. It's a ton of little tabs, articles old,

(15:41):
this happened, that happened. You know, they just give you
a little catchphrase. It got to kind of get you
to read the article. But when the actual heart facts
come out, then all those stubborn facts, you know, don't
mount up to anything. So I'm just gonna hold her,
give her the assumption of innocent until proven.

Speaker 1 (16:03):
Get her on that.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
Okay, you're talking about Samantha Marion, and in that case.

Speaker 4 (16:08):
Yes, as far as the greatest president in modern history
besides Bill Clinton, President Trump getting the job done. I'm
glad he cutting down in the federal grant money.

Speaker 2 (16:23):
You're a Republican, you think President Bill Clinton was one
of the greatest presidents of all time.

Speaker 4 (16:29):
Yeah. Bill Clinton was a great Martin Martin day president. Yeah.
I like to be an interesting I kind of like
that Obama. I kind of like Obama a little bit.
I think his his wife, Michelle Obama. I think she
drives him up the wall.

Speaker 2 (16:43):
All right, well there you go. Well gotta let you go,
all right quick, you better say it because now you
better get off first lady. But yell Obama.

Speaker 4 (16:52):
But I think that she needed to just stop talking
about her divorce in public and just let that go.
Let's just leave that alone, because she's just digging her
whole deeper. I got that Obama brief. But uh, I
just wanted that president in Chicago. Uh uh President Trump.
Uh has to do the right thing in Chicago. You

(17:12):
know they got that with six hundred homicide over two thousand,
uh crimes in Chicago, six hundred homicide. They are killing
You know, I can see if grown men are killing themselves,
But when they started killing six year olds and three
year olds and a three year old gets shot from
a straight bullet in the in a car, that's concerning.

Speaker 1 (17:34):
Yeah, that's very concerning. Run holding on, I got to run. Okay,
all right, keep America great, Thank you very much.

Speaker 2 (17:41):
Oh my goodness, oo child, w d I A hello?

Speaker 11 (17:47):
What's going on?

Speaker 1 (17:48):
Stormy? I can't call it brother, Butnard, how you doing?

Speaker 11 (17:52):
You know what?

Speaker 3 (17:52):
I am blessed beyond stress despite the test.

Speaker 13 (17:55):
I know that.

Speaker 3 (17:57):
You know what, Stormy. Believe the the enhancement of the
charges on uh miss Marion is a is a political
gesture to appease those people that believe that there was
total innocence on behalf.

Speaker 1 (18:15):
Of a victim.

Speaker 3 (18:16):
And as a result, what I suspect I might you know,
be you know, in line with this what will come.
But I believe that the enhancement of the charges has
opened more room for this defendant to be found not

(18:36):
guilty because if there if there was, if there was
sufficient evidence initially, then uh, there would have been there
would have been uh, you know, these same charges in
the in the very beginning. Maybe not necessarily, but I
seriously believe when we're when we were talking about a

(18:58):
form of manslaughter, that there was some type of that
there was some type of provocation from the victim, and
with the world seeing it, I believe a reasonable person
might agree that this person did provoke this other person
in some shape form of fashion. I believe a Jerry
would would agree to that. And so the fact that

(19:19):
they have enhanced these charges to appease his supporters, then
it's it will it will turn out the way that
it will turn out.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
You don't believe that maybe they saw more evidence to
point that direction than we know to upgrade those charges.

Speaker 3 (19:41):
Well, I mean it is not hard to you know,
establish some some evidence to enhance charges. But I certainly
believe that this. The officers that responded saw the video. Okay,
they are they are trained, uh In the initial charges
for months were only, uh a charge that that included

(20:07):
elements where this person was provoked.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
But do they come up with those charges or is
that the district attorney who comes up with the charges?

Speaker 3 (20:17):
Well, well, the officers only reported what they saw on
the video and and and then after they brought this
in front of some you know, citizens consistent maintained building
up making up this grand jury, then they they enhanced
those charges. But my point is that I believe that
there was pressure on the district attorney's office because he

(20:40):
openly announced that it was one of his beloved friends. Okay,
he openly announced it.

Speaker 1 (20:47):
On the news I think he recused himself. He recused himself.

Speaker 3 (20:52):
So but you know, I did not know if it's
if it's his office that's hadling it or whatnot. But
I will I will leave that topic. But I'll say this,
I am not opposed to President Trump using the National
Guard in Memphis if he, if he, you know, believes
there is reason because you know, the not on one day,

(21:13):
Labor Day and so on. Was was pretty pretty nice
in the beginning. Yet after later on, as ex Jadge
pointed out earlier today, it was complete chaos. It was
complete chaos later on. And so there we have it again.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
Wait a minute, now, wait, wait, wait, wait was it
chaos or was there one situation that was chaotic? Because
from from what I saw, there was one situation that was.

Speaker 3 (21:38):
Chaotic, you know what storm of there there is more
than one video because of that.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
That one incident. Are you telling me there were more incidences?

Speaker 3 (21:49):
There was more than one incident. There was a there
was a group of females fighting. I also saw a
group of of as they referred to why ns fire. Okay,
so that essentially that's more than one incident. And then
you know we're talking about large you know, large groups
of people and so on. I mean, the officers themselves

(22:11):
cannot cannot cannot contain that. So my point is, I'm
not opposed to him using it. I am not saying
that that will settle the problem. But my question more
is is that if they use the National Guard, then
what what will they have them doing? What will be
their plan, what will be their strategies. I think that's
that's the real question, because just putting them just present

(22:35):
it has.

Speaker 1 (22:36):
To be a plan.

Speaker 3 (22:37):
But I will not take up much more of our time.

Speaker 14 (22:40):
Storm.

Speaker 3 (22:40):
I appreciate you for taking my call, I mean, welcoming
the broadcast.

Speaker 1 (22:43):
Thank you so much, brother Bnard.

Speaker 2 (22:44):
I appreciate you calling in, yeah with your thoughts on
these things.

Speaker 1 (22:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (22:49):
I got somebody that tapped in on that iHeartRadio app
that said that they were on a grand jury. I
want to hear what they had to say. And I
see you guys holding on a c Jackson and Rob
and others, And if you want to tell in, you
can either tap that app or call in nine O
one five three five nine three four two eight hundred
five zero three nine three four two eight three three
five three five nine three four two or email me

(23:11):
Stormy Tea listening to the best of uh Stormy conversations
on yesterday.

Speaker 1 (23:16):
Yeah, I appreciate you, I really do.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
Yesterday we were we were out and about and I
knew that since we were down there, I might as
well go and you know, do do you know the
show from down there? Because it would have been hard
for me to have driven all the way back. And
you know how you're trying to be two places at
one time.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
You can't do it. You just can't do it. You
can be two.

Speaker 2 (23:38):
Places at different times, like Nurse Beverly over the weekend.
She came to my birthday party Friday night, and then
she came to see us yesterday for nine oh one
day and we had a good time.

Speaker 1 (23:48):
I saw coach what's up? Coach? He called me, what what?

Speaker 2 (23:52):
What's your name for me? Coach doctor Stormy. I think
it's what he calls me, something like that. And then
I met his sister. They look a lot of like.
They look a lot alike. So I met Nurse Beverly's
family yesterday and a lot of you. Miss Sheila was there,
Miss Owens, Hey, Miss Owens, she came down and a
lot of other folks too. I don't remember everybody's name,

(24:14):
but it was a lot of people and we had
a good time yesterday at the Western Courtside Grill.

Speaker 1 (24:20):
The food was good too.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
So just imagine you come to Memphis yesterday, and especially
if you came for Nino one day and you weren't
involved in any other mess that was going on, But
especially if you came for Nino one day, you had
yourself a good time. The food is really, oh my goodness, food,
food food.

Speaker 1 (24:38):
But you know what I saw this morning in the news.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
I was telling you guys about the guy who robbed
Kentucky Fried Chicken, two of them, by the way, and
where it is. He got away with the cash register
at one of the KFC's, and then the other KFC
he rummaged the office, and then he left with a
bucket of chicken. You know, when I first read that,

(25:02):
I thought I chuckled a little bit because I'm like,
he left with the chicken. But to be honest with you,
the way things are going right now, I had to
tell you, I'm a little I don't want to be nervous,
I don't want to be afraid or anything like that,
but but stories like that, because was he hungry? Is

(25:26):
that why he robbed KFC? What is going on? Does
he know that there are food pantries all over the place,
you know, because there are a lot of them. Was
he just somebody just trying to get into trouble?

Speaker 10 (25:45):
You know?

Speaker 2 (25:45):
What I'm saying is everybody that's doing that kind of
stuff ain't hungry. Some people are just trying to get
in trouble. But it just I don't know. That just
concerned me.

Speaker 1 (25:53):
I'm like, why, why? Why leave with a buck of
the chicken?

Speaker 14 (25:59):
What?

Speaker 2 (26:00):
What's happening? Was he trying to feed his family? I
don't know. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (26:05):
But a life of crime, ain't it?

Speaker 2 (26:07):
Because you might feed him for a second, but then
you go in to jail and who gonna feed him?

Speaker 3 (26:12):
Then?

Speaker 2 (26:14):
Yeah, let me get back to this app because somebody
tapped in about, you know, the Samantha Marian situation. Let's
go to this app and hear what they have to say.

Speaker 11 (26:23):
Hey, Storm, it's Chopper. Hey been on a grand jury
and on the grand juredy you get to see all
the facts at the public don't see yet. So that
is exactly why those charges got upgraded to a second
degree murder.

Speaker 2 (26:39):
Wow, Okay, Okay, that's what I asked. Do they see
something we don't see? Kelsey emailed and said, I disagree
with brother Bernard regarding the case with Samantha and the pastor.
I do think that the DA is overcharging her just
to get a guilty verdict. That is just us not

(27:00):
the case I think, or you say you do not,
he said. This person says, I do not think the
DA is overcharging her just to get a guilty verdict.

Speaker 1 (27:08):
That is not just not the case.

Speaker 2 (27:10):
I think the state has discovered more evidence which simply
leads to more charges. As far as the National Guard,
their presence is definitely needed. This crime is wreaking havoc
on the city despite the success of nine on one day,
and something or a better approach is needed to tackle
the crime. Something different or more aggressive needs to take

(27:34):
place in this city. Okay, Paris says, hey, girl, charges.
What I have learned about the charges is the prosecutor
can add as many charges or whatever charges they want.
It's what is proven in court, in the court of
law by a jury.

Speaker 1 (27:56):
Look at the ditty case. Interesting, Well, let's go to
the phone.

Speaker 2 (28:02):
See what you guys are talking about on today w
D I a hello, how you doing.

Speaker 1 (28:08):
Hey, I'm good, mister Rob, how you doing. Look, you
know they.

Speaker 6 (28:12):
Had an altercation before they even came outside that build,
you know they was they'd already said they had that
on tape, some kind of altercation inside.

Speaker 15 (28:22):
But you know, something of what.

Speaker 6 (28:23):
I'm actually waiting on is for for it to come
out that she knew him. They sticking with that alive.

Speaker 1 (28:31):
But you'll never make me believe she didn't know him.

Speaker 6 (28:33):
They didn't know each other.

Speaker 4 (28:35):
I just can't see that because you and.

Speaker 6 (28:38):
You in a little whatever it was a little bar
or whatever, thirty minutes later later, you did you know,
you see two guys are cutting up all the time,
but a woman that shoots a preacher just like that
in that little time, some something kind of end up
that they sticking with it though, like they didn't know
each other. I don't know if they trying to protect

(28:58):
his image of what.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
I think we're back. I think I hope we're back.

Speaker 2 (29:03):
If you're listening, thank you for being here with me,
Stormy Tea Stormy Conversations live and on your radio. Trying
to make sure that we are back on and live.
I mean, both of my systems just went down quickly there.
I don't know what happened, but I think we are okay.
I think, I hope and pray that.

Speaker 1 (29:23):
We are okay.

Speaker 2 (29:24):
I'm trying to I'm trying to check, y'all, hold on,
trying to check and see if we are Yeah, I
think we're there. We go okay, Oh we're back. Oh
my goodness, y'all, this is tough. I mean, imagine you
were doing this live and you had two computers to
go down at the same time.

Speaker 1 (29:38):
You don't know what happened. Everything just disappear.

Speaker 2 (29:41):
It's just okay. I think we're okay. Now, I think
we're back. So let's go back to the phones and
see what you guys are saying.

Speaker 1 (29:47):
W D I A hello, Yeah, I'm back.

Speaker 10 (29:53):
For me, I say we're back.

Speaker 2 (29:56):
Oh well Jackson, Yeah, we are back, I think, and
I'm glad that we are back.

Speaker 1 (30:03):
And so now we got you on the phone. Hey Jackson.

Speaker 10 (30:06):
Yes, good evening, good evening.

Speaker 4 (30:12):
Show me.

Speaker 10 (30:13):
Let me start up by saying the nine oh one
day was excellent. I mean, if you wasn't there, if people,
if you wasn't there, it's kind of like Times Square
on New Year's Eve. It was in the perfect spot.
And like you said, the incident, the minor incident that happened,

(30:35):
happened way after the It was like the spillover some
silly kids, and you know, some people probably that wasn't there,
that never supported anything, was hoping something happened, you know,
those kind of people. Really, I saw a fight, Okay,

(30:56):
you saw some silly people fighting.

Speaker 4 (30:59):
So what.

Speaker 10 (31:03):
I mean, you know, probably midnight of somewhere.

Speaker 2 (31:06):
And I'm gonna tell you it's not It's not. In
my opinion, Jackson, it's not. Let's see I guess a mirror, yeah,
of what everything that's happening in the city, and how
they tied both situations together. I saw some news reports
saying that it happened, and then nine on one day.
I mean, like, why you got to put them together

(31:26):
because they're not together?

Speaker 10 (31:28):
Right?

Speaker 4 (31:29):
That was nine o nine, Yeah at.

Speaker 2 (31:34):
Night, Come on now, But hey, I guess they do
what they do. They do what they do.

Speaker 7 (31:41):
You know.

Speaker 10 (31:42):
Let me say this. I was hoping to see justin Timberlake,
Algreen Glorella, but maybe they had prior engagement.

Speaker 1 (31:53):
Glorilla came last year.

Speaker 10 (31:56):
Okay, well she should have come this year. Uh, but
I mean, I'm pretty sure she was already tied up
because she loves Memphis. He always promotes Memphis and she
does a great job at it. And one thing, the
other thing I was hoping to see was the mayors
of Millington, coll Yeville, German Town all all come to

(32:19):
Memphis and stan On Satan said and say we're all together.
But you know, maybe that'll happen one day and that
so seriously, that'd be very nice, hopefully listening. And Meredith
and David. I don't know if Meredith and David have

(32:41):
left the planet, you know, they're wandering around it.

Speaker 1 (32:44):
And Jackson, now come on, now, come on, now, come
on now.

Speaker 10 (32:49):
This morning they said they would not pray for the
president for his good health, and that's evil. I don't
know if they're just smoking or joking, you know, I
don't know, but we have to pray for the president's
well being because if the president goes down, then it's

(33:12):
going to be hate, it's gonna be mayhem.

Speaker 2 (33:14):
So and but but I mean, I understand what you're saying.
I understand what.

Speaker 1 (33:19):
You're saying, but there is that little Jackson.

Speaker 8 (33:27):
Me.

Speaker 2 (33:29):
I hear what you say saying, Jackson about we should pray.
But but you know, people do what they do. You
can't tell people what to do.

Speaker 1 (33:36):
Or you can.

Speaker 2 (33:37):
But if they don't do what you tell them to do,
you know what I'm saying. They can do what they
want to It's free country and free will. You know,
people do what they want to do.

Speaker 10 (33:49):
What's what's Uh? I'm sorry, I'm sorry I held on
too long, But I missed your birthday. Because I miss
your birthday celebration, I was I had to work. Oh,
I'm sorry, I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (34:05):
There were plenty, There were plenty. There were plenty there
that took your place.

Speaker 10 (34:10):
What's what's going on tomorrow?

Speaker 7 (34:14):
Bye?

Speaker 1 (34:15):
Jackson? He ain't got none to say?

Speaker 2 (34:18):
Oh bello, I mean something else? All right, let's go
back to the phones and see what you guys are
talking about. Let me see who's been holding on the longest.

Speaker 1 (34:27):
W D I A.

Speaker 4 (34:28):
Hello, Hello this Stormy te.

Speaker 1 (34:33):
There, lady d.

Speaker 2 (34:34):
How you doing on this beautiful Tuesday.

Speaker 1 (34:38):
I'm doing a little better.

Speaker 6 (34:40):
I'm doing better than I would be.

Speaker 1 (34:43):
Good Stormy.

Speaker 7 (34:47):
At the end of the day, at the end of
the day, it's gonna be people that know each other.
It's gonna be hot headed people, people thinking the National Guard.
If you don't respect nothing, finist in this city. Chevin

(35:08):
County bears your grandmama, your auntie. This city got a
problem with respect. They and everything is out of order,
out of control. I bet you were nobody fighting at
the places you were at and in defense of this
great city.

Speaker 3 (35:29):
Love this great shit.

Speaker 7 (35:30):
I wouldn't go nowhere, elf. If I do, I'm gonna return.
This is the greatest city.

Speaker 6 (35:36):
I tell you the truth, Stormy. When you hold.

Speaker 7 (35:40):
Somewhere where they clowning it, and I got to give
it up for the young people. Cause the young people
that showed up, and everybody come close. From eleven to seven,
it was eleven to seven, nine oh one. Yeah, you
was a.

Speaker 1 (35:57):
Little beyond seven o'clock the bed seven, but it was.
But it was you know, But.

Speaker 7 (36:06):
I said that Sweeten, that said this, Okay, if it
happened at teller Clom. You all know the young people here,
they go most of them go down there.

Speaker 1 (36:19):
Not all young people.

Speaker 6 (36:20):
I love young people because I've been young before.

Speaker 7 (36:23):
But most of them they go down there to fight,
they go down there to get drunk. They go down there.

Speaker 1 (36:31):
You got that group.

Speaker 7 (36:33):
Unless you catch them in the act.

Speaker 1 (36:37):
They they gonna keep coming. They keep chomping, They.

Speaker 7 (36:41):
Keep going and going and going with you got the
young girls, that's in the AID class, the B class.
But if you get them this in the F and
D class, anything goes.

Speaker 15 (36:54):
And that's the world we live in.

Speaker 7 (36:56):
When we were young, we wasn't as wild as there.
So everybody was in the sound of my voice. If
you in the sixties club or the waters in the fifties,
they just different from us exactly. So take them by

(37:17):
the hand.

Speaker 13 (37:18):
We can.

Speaker 7 (37:19):
We can get to some of them.

Speaker 15 (37:20):
And saw me he so once.

Speaker 7 (37:21):
They got homey, No, that guy was just like everybody else.
He watched too much TV. People watch too much television.

Speaker 2 (37:32):
Now that note tall me T have a good one,
all right, lady, D thank you so much, lady. They
watched too much TV, and they just might. I was talking,
uh to my man. We were talking about everybody in
their house. Everybody got a TV. I mean from the
poorest person to the richest person. Everybody's got a TV.

(37:55):
And the majority of people have a cell phone.

Speaker 1 (38:00):
So D could be right. There could be watching too
much TV. Hmm. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (38:06):
I don't know, but I do want to say because
Jackson was talking about my party. I do want to
say thank you to everybody that did get a chance
to come out and hang out with me. Nurse Beverly
was there, King Harry was there, Vip was there, Carolyn,
my bff, was there.

Speaker 1 (38:23):
Who else came out to see me?

Speaker 2 (38:25):
Sharon, Sharon girl, you know I love you. Sharon Humphries
is her name. She has been supporting me for a minute.
When I was honored with Curtis Givens thirty Power thirty,
I was one of the honorees. Was that Sharon was
that last year? I think it was last year Sharon

(38:48):
came to support me. My girlfriend Jericha Maryland and I
just I just felt so honored that they they came
out to be with me and support me on that night.

Speaker 1 (39:00):
And some of the sweetest people you ever want to meet.

Speaker 2 (39:06):
Try to today, some of the sweetest people you ever
want to meet. Well, a lot of you have checked
in on this iHeartRadio app. You were emailing me as well,
and I want to get back to what you've got
to say. And I see you on the phone. Eric Big,
Andrea Clyde, y'all hang on for me. We're gonna come
back and we're gonna talk some more. Went off the
air for a second, mister robb I apologize. It was

(39:27):
not my fault, but we went off the air when
you were talking, and I didn't know what had happened.
But we went off the air for a quick second there,
and then we came back on just in time for Jackson.

Speaker 3 (39:37):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (39:37):
But so, mister Robin, if you want to call me back,
because I think you got in about a minute and
a half, we'll call me back and finish what you
had to say. You can do that, all right. We're
gonna come back and talk some more, and y'all can
check in with me. Email me Stormy Ta at my

on that iHeartRadio app or not on one five three

(39:58):

Speaker 1 (39:59):
We'll be back in a moment. I'll go get some
resk tonight.

Speaker 2 (40:01):
I mean, I ran all over the place this weekend,
and let me say again thank you to all of
you that came out to support me at my birthday
party over the weekend. That really wasn't my birthday party,
because I really didn't personally invite anybody, so it was,
but it wasn't so because if it was, you know,
I really that, you know, I wanted to celebrate with

(40:23):
the club, you know, with the folks over there, and
because Thomas Brownlee and Trishina Brownlee have been such a
blessing to my life and I wanted to celebrate, you know,
as a way to give back to them, and you know,
and just that was my way of saying thank you
to them. So I did not make personal invites because
Gail told me, she said, if I had known, I

(40:44):
would have come.

Speaker 1 (40:45):
Hey, Gail, girl, I didn't.

Speaker 2 (40:49):
And I knew that because I didn't do that, that
people would feel some type of way because they were
going to think, including my family members, you had a
birthday party, you didn't invite us, and know there wasn't
not the case. He did the flyer and I'm grateful
for that, and I posted it on Facebook and I
posted it on Instagram and people asked me, was I

(41:09):
having a party on the radio, and I said so,
But it was not one of those parties where I
personally invited a lot of people, because ah, my life
is crazy right now. People don't realize that it's crazy, right.
I haven't even shouted out my best friend that was there.
I didn't even say his name or his wife that
came out to support me at my birthday party, and

(41:32):
Chuck came out to support me. And I can't because
if I say everybody's name. But I do want to
say again, thank you to all of you that came.
My girlfriend Amandra, I haven't seen her in years, or well,
I saw her last year. Amanda came her and Carla
and yeah, so some of my good friends didn't come,

(41:54):
and they might be mad at me because I didn't
let them know. And yeah, because and my good friends,
they know what's happening in my life right now, so
hopefully they understand that it's a lot going on.

Speaker 1 (42:09):
It's a lot going on.

Speaker 2 (42:10):
I just don't have so many of you guys sent
me happy birthdays. I have not been able to respond
to everybody because it over this year overwhelmed me. And
I feel so love and I feel so grateful, but
I do feel bad. It's kind of bittersweet because I
feel bad because I can't respond to everybody. Because I

(42:32):
don't it would take me probably a day, if not longer.
I've tried to respond to everybody. I can't do it. Physically,
I can't do it.

Speaker 1 (42:42):
I can't do it.

Speaker 2 (42:43):
And my man is like, I need you to get
off that phone. By the way, he was at my
birthday party. And let me say thank you to him,
because he's been so supportive and I have been let
me be, just be transparent here for a second. I
have not, but I won't be want to be too

(43:06):
transparent because I'll be I'll be wanting to be in
my business like that. But he has been very, very supportive.
Though I do want to say that, and I do
want to tell him that I appreciate you and I
love you, and that's that's all i'most saying. I appreciate
you so very much. Your girl just burning the candle
at a bunch of ends right now. And uh, some

(43:29):
of y'all don't understand that. And and I want to
call you and tell you, I just don't have time,
and he won't let me talk on the phone. He's
he's been monitoring my phone activity. And I'm grateful because
if it were up to me, i'd be on the
phone twenty four seven when I wake up and when
I go to bed. But thankful to him. He has
been saying you you got to pull back. So y'all

(43:54):
forgive me and and and just know that I love
you and I appreciate you so very much. I got
a little emotional. Let me get off of that and
get back on to what we own. Okay, let me
go see what y'all talking about in this sum and
these emails here and well, now let me go to
the app because they only are tapping in on the
iHeart radio app. Let me let me see what you

(44:16):
are talking about on this iHeart radio app.

Speaker 1 (44:20):
Let's go here. Sorry.

Speaker 3 (44:23):
If a brand Jerry sound enough evidence to formerly indict
her Monday's Govan, then why was he found not guilty?

Speaker 1 (44:33):
Okay, not sure about that one.

Speaker 16 (44:37):
Hey, Storringy, It's always so glad I went came down yesterday.

Speaker 1 (44:42):
I had such a good time and it was so
much fun.

Speaker 16 (44:45):
How about them fragg green tomatoes.

Speaker 1 (44:49):
I'm going back.

Speaker 16 (44:50):
It won't be today, but I'm going again sometime soon.
Enjoyed it all yesterday. I had a good time all
day long. Yesterday happened nine on one day on to Memphis.

Speaker 1 (45:01):
Good time.

Speaker 2 (45:03):
It was a good time. I'm telling you. We had
a really good time. Just a lot of good stuff
happening all over the place, all over the weekend. Okay,
I got a message here from mister Curtis. He says, Stormy,
that lady that did the shooting, and her problem is
that she got out of her car and engaged in

(45:23):
that fight, so you can't claim self defense. She may
get three to seven years, is what he's saying. Let's
go back to the phones. W D I A hello, Hello, Hello,
follow you there, Jared, Hey girl, I'm good.

Speaker 6 (45:49):
Just me.

Speaker 17 (45:49):
I was saying earlier that my dad's name is Patrick.

Speaker 18 (45:52):
He became one of your reckless.

Speaker 17 (45:54):
He hasn't been on the show lately, and this faceboo.
This call is just to I guess, just to recognize
him because lately he had his his leg impitated. So
but I'm just doing this to like empower him, to
just tell him, don't give up.

Speaker 7 (46:10):
We are still here.

Speaker 1 (46:12):
Don't let this be just a This is just a rown,
you know.

Speaker 17 (46:16):
I just want to let him know that we still
love him.

Speaker 4 (46:18):
He just got to keep pushing through.

Speaker 2 (46:20):
His name is Patrick, yes, ma'am. Okay, we sending Patrick
a whole lot of love. You must really love him, Jeri,
because you held on to to say that because you've
been holding on for a minute.

Speaker 1 (46:31):
You must really love your daddy. You're so sweet.

Speaker 3 (46:35):
I'm a daddy, parl.

Speaker 1 (46:36):
That is so sweet. Thank you want too much.

Speaker 7 (46:41):
But and he really loves your show.

Speaker 17 (46:43):
So that's why I want to make sure I get
it on your show because he talks about you so much,
Miss Stormy.

Speaker 1 (46:48):
You just don't know.

Speaker 2 (46:52):
Well, Jericka, thank you, and mister Patrick, thank you. And
I do want to tell him as well to to
don't give up.

Speaker 3 (47:00):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (47:01):
You are so welcome.

Speaker 6 (47:03):
I hope you have wonderful bless day.

Speaker 1 (47:05):
I hope you have a wonderful blessed day as well.

Speaker 6 (47:08):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (47:09):
All right, bye bye, so sweet.

Speaker 2 (47:11):
You know here I am worried about my little issues.
And then she called, Oh, put things into perspective, young lady.
Thank you so very much. Thank you for making that call.
Let me go back to these phones. W d I
A Hello, Hello, call you there?

Speaker 1 (47:32):
Hello?

Speaker 2 (47:33):
Okay, all right, I'm trying to hang on for you,
but h well, I don't put them on hold. Maybe
they went to stepped into uh well, w d I
A Hello today.

Speaker 1 (47:46):
Hey, I'm good. How you doing this? Andre?

Speaker 6 (47:50):
I'm doing well. I'm doing well. I got there two.

Speaker 1 (47:51):
Things for you, uh huh, Well.

Speaker 6 (47:54):
One, I mean you mentioned the other hand, old Bard,
you're going to have Thirdymedian that came from the him,
but that she's married to m You do know this
is the second husband. Note. Yeah, the first husband was
her brother that she married to get him in to
the country leader. She's on the investigation board.

Speaker 4 (48:10):
What y'all check it out.

Speaker 14 (48:13):
Yeah, the first husband was her brother that she's on
an investigation brother that number two, you know.

Speaker 6 (48:18):
And I wasn't getting with a grand and saw Ricky
boyds me with childhood friends. I love Ricky. We started,
I ministered out at the same time with Store. My
heart agrees for that woman.

Speaker 3 (48:27):
And I'll tell you why.

Speaker 6 (48:28):
The only time I look at that is that did
that woman that was my sister or my mother or
my daughter, and she was in that situation. She ain't
got but one of two options. Either let him do
whatever it was that you finna do to her, or
defend herself. And I agree for that woman because if
you were in a situation, would you let him do
it wouldn't look like he was finna do.

Speaker 2 (48:46):
I don't think I would have gotten out of the car,
or or went back to see what to threaten him
or anything.

Speaker 1 (48:52):
But I mean, you never know what you honestly missed.

Speaker 2 (48:54):
And and you know what, thank you for saying that,
because you just brought You don't know what you would
do in a city situation like that. You can say
what you will do, but you do not know what
you will do in a situation.

Speaker 1 (49:07):
You don't know.

Speaker 11 (49:09):
You don't know.

Speaker 6 (49:10):
But but I know for me, I mean, I love Rick,
I love him did it, but whatever you have in
his mind to do to that woman on me, it
wasn't good. He was at a fit of rage and stuff,
you know. And and I just pray for the situation,
this whole situation. Just grieved hard and lost my friend.
And this woman's life is gonna be changed forever.

Speaker 1 (49:29):
Yeah, it's unfortunate.

Speaker 6 (49:32):
Yeah, but check on your your hand, old mad now
that thirty million dollars and stuff.

Speaker 2 (49:35):
She ain't make it off.

Speaker 6 (49:36):
No, twenty thousand dollars year salary.

Speaker 1 (49:39):
Hmmm. They do. They are kind of rich.

Speaker 2 (49:41):
A lot of those congress women and men, they be
getting rich.

Speaker 1 (49:46):
I mean not rich, they get wealthy.

Speaker 6 (49:48):
They they exactly Steve Goring and all of them. They
going down a two hundred thousand dollars year salary and
after four or five years they worth five and ten
million dollars.

Speaker 7 (49:56):
You do the math.

Speaker 6 (49:57):
Wow, you got a great show with I het up.
Miss your birthday.

Speaker 1 (50:02):
Oh it's okay, Thank you, mister andre I appreciate that.
Thank you. All right, let's see who's on w D
I A hello.

Speaker 15 (50:12):
Hello, hey Storming?

Speaker 2 (50:16):
Hey there, how you doing on this beautiful tuesday?

Speaker 7 (50:19):
You all right?

Speaker 12 (50:20):
I'm all right today Stormy, I was calling out, hope
you had a beautiful birthday. You could get a chance
to call in, but I was with you in the spirit.

Speaker 4 (50:33):
As you celebrated.

Speaker 1 (50:35):
Thank you.

Speaker 15 (50:37):
I want to say, Stormy.

Speaker 12 (50:39):
Uh, your friend, your man friend, he's a lucky guy.
You know, he's really a lucky guy. And all he's
doing is looking out and for your well being and
the keeping you safe. That's part of keeping you safe. Yeah, yeah,

(50:59):
And I just want you to know that. So and
do get you some red Storm because as I heard,
you've been real visited this weekend and.

Speaker 4 (51:12):
Rest is very important. It is, you know.

Speaker 12 (51:17):
And then the last thing I want to say to
Storm is what is it?

Speaker 6 (51:22):
What is it.

Speaker 15 (51:22):
About us as a people. You know, what is it
about us.

Speaker 12 (51:27):
That you know, whenever something good going, it always has
to end with something you know, what what is it
about us as a people? We we you know, we
can't love on one another.

Speaker 2 (51:42):
Mister Eric, that is a good question. I don't understand
it myself. I really don't. Yeah, I don't, And I've
asked that question before. Why why is it that we
hate each other when somebody is doing better than us?

Speaker 6 (51:56):
Right right?

Speaker 2 (51:57):
I mean, we all know I'm not speaking just I'm
not just speaking about black people. I think that's people
in general. That is a human nature issue. And a
lot of times we want to put it on black
people that we're the only ones that likes it. But
that's human nature. It's white people that like that. It's
all different races and colors of folks that are like that.
So but but the question is why do we do that?

Speaker 12 (52:20):
Yes, but I think I think, I think we need
to show more love, not just us as a black people,
but as people in who we need to show more love,
you know.

Speaker 1 (52:35):
And I just wanted to get in and.

Speaker 4 (52:39):
Share that with you, uh tho.

Speaker 12 (52:42):
I was with you in the spirit and just know
though you couldn't get in touch with everybody. I was
listening to you say you couldn't get in touch with everybody,
but believe me, we was all with you in the spirit.

Speaker 2 (53:00):
Listen, Eric, that blesses me. Thank you so much. I
appreciate you calling.

Speaker 12 (53:05):
All right, thank you stop having a good day.

Speaker 19 (53:08):
All right?

Speaker 1 (53:08):
You too, You too, man.

Speaker 2 (53:11):
And that's how we feel about you, mister Patrick. And
thank you Jericha his daughter for calling in. That's how
we feel about you. We are with you and the spirit. Okay,
keep your head up. You're gonna make it through this. Okay,
we're with you.

Speaker 1 (53:30):
W D I A hello, good evening, Stormy. How you doing.
I'm good big hold a good evening to you.

Speaker 11 (53:40):
Well.

Speaker 14 (53:40):
First of all, missus Patrick, keep your head up.

Speaker 1 (53:43):
You got life.

Speaker 14 (53:45):
Things happen to everyone, but you will be able to
make it. Just keep your faith, keep doing what's right,
and persevere through your bad situation and make it better
in the end. And that's from the Big come on
into you.

Speaker 1 (54:02):
Also.

Speaker 14 (54:05):
I had a big disappointment there today. Yeah yeah, yeah yeah.
And you know, I mean, you know, people you know
get on end and say they're going to pray for him,
or some people don't or whatever, that's you entitled to that.

(54:27):
If you want to pray for him, fine, If you don't,
that's fine. And then when it comes to mister Jackson,
you leave those people alone, because David is a very
very smart person in my personal opinion, he's well educated.
And when it comes to Meredith, she's well educated.

Speaker 1 (54:46):
She's doing time.

Speaker 14 (54:47):
So I remember back a while back, you said you
want to minimize the personal attacks against each other, and
I'm trying to abide by that. So that's why I
attack Donald Trump on every chance that I get.

Speaker 2 (55:01):
Yeah, and that's why I had to cut Jackson off
a little bit today too.

Speaker 14 (55:04):
So well, well you need to cut him off. Well,
whenever he gets started, you cut him.

Speaker 1 (55:09):
Off quick, and don't even give him to say it.

Speaker 14 (55:12):
Trying to say, child.

Speaker 2 (55:13):
Bellow, you going in on Jackson? Now, I got to
cut you off.

Speaker 6 (55:17):
No, I'm just saying, go and.

Speaker 20 (55:24):
Yeah, that's what you don't want that, Just just don't
allow it when they get into it, even me, if
you get into it, just cut the phone off, click
and hang up and let them allow them to call
back tomorrow.

Speaker 15 (55:37):
One more last thing.

Speaker 14 (55:40):
I was totally disappointed, and I've seen so many atrocities
that Donald Trump does against people, and then you got
people that's still supporting him, which.

Speaker 4 (55:50):
Is making his sin.

Speaker 14 (55:51):
But when I heard about him trying to be the
port six hundred kids store me for what reason? Why
why would you want to deport six hundred kids knowing
when they get back to wherever you send them to,
they could most likely some of them could possibly die.

Speaker 1 (56:09):
And you're gonna do that.

Speaker 14 (56:11):
It's crazy.

Speaker 1 (56:11):
It's magnets.

Speaker 14 (56:12):
And my personal opinion is one way or the other,
it won't be long. Donald Trump will be gone and
this is the place to be. It's with Stormy t
the experience in seventy w d I A thank you
very much.

Speaker 1 (56:32):
W d I A hello the storm. Clyde, ma ain't
I can't go.

Speaker 15 (56:39):
Usually a cousin, they come on out there.

Speaker 1 (56:45):
Let alone, let him along.

Speaker 12 (56:46):
Clyde there, that lad God, he made a prodigious morning.

Speaker 4 (56:52):
It will be the death the storm.

Speaker 11 (56:54):
You know.

Speaker 3 (56:55):
I'm gonna tell you.

Speaker 15 (56:57):
They can come up with all kinds of charges they
want on this woman for killing the taft. But when
they when they get the jury drive down there. That
wasn't gonna tell the story. See the jury gonna see
through the glass. See now he had a chance to
drive off, but he got in the truck driving off
and she was just standing out there. He stopped, get

(57:19):
out of the truck and walk into a storm.

Speaker 3 (57:21):
And to look on that man.

Speaker 15 (57:23):
Say the mirror just said the same thing I said.
To look on his face. Storms. She kept telling the
bag of because he winna beat the brakes off. Up
he looked like he he he'll whoop a woman in
a minute store shirt tail had one hanging out. So
you know your tips it. But I'm just waiting till
the jury trial.

Speaker 1 (57:41):
Storm that will long wait now.

Speaker 3 (57:43):
Oh uh.

Speaker 1 (57:50):
Bye, Clyde. What is wrong with y'all? W d I
A hello?

Speaker 4 (57:56):
Hello Sammy?

Speaker 1 (57:57):
How are you hey? I'm good? How are you fine?

Speaker 19 (58:01):
I'm glad you had a great birthday. And I heard
you say you was burning the candles at both ends
and you were apologizing to some people. You don't have
to be apologetic to anyone, and they always say you
are a wonderful person. You don't owe anybody any explanations
and whatever you have to say.

Speaker 3 (58:21):
Most between that's whatever you're.

Speaker 4 (58:23):
Going through, between you and God, and you be blessed.

Speaker 3 (58:26):
And I just love your storm.

Speaker 2 (58:28):
I love you too. Thank you for sharing that. All right,
thank you, miss Betty. Yeah, my heart, I hear what
she's saying. But my heart won't let me. It won't
let me do that. Communication is the key. That is
what I try to do because I love so many
people and sometimes it's too many, you know, because you

(58:49):
just can't love everybody like you want to. And I try.
But my man is making me stop. I'm grateful to
him for that. He's making me.

Speaker 1 (59:00):
Slow it down.

Speaker 2 (59:03):
Sometimes he'll make we're riding and I'm thinking, I ain't
bothering nobody. I'm over here on my phone, ain't messing
with them, and he'll say, just just relax.

Speaker 1 (59:11):
Stop it. You need a man like that in your life.
W d I A hello?

Speaker 6 (59:19):
How you doing?

Speaker 1 (59:19):
Miss Rob?

Speaker 2 (59:20):
I'm so sorry about what happened earlier.

Speaker 1 (59:23):
It's no problem.

Speaker 3 (59:24):
Look, I wasn't considered this now, the one that we
had yesterday, I was considered one hundred.

Speaker 6 (59:31):
Percent success considering most of them.

Speaker 3 (59:34):
Most of the time we have ten to twelve incidents.

Speaker 6 (59:37):
Yeah, so you almost want to congratulate the boys, but
just doing one thing. It's sad to say, but in
my old opinion, yeah, mine, I mean, you know, except
I looked at a matter of fact, I was looking
on the news a little while though.

Speaker 1 (59:50):
They were so stupid.

Speaker 6 (59:51):
They're gonna have to pass with it. To put these hess,
they're gonna have to find somewhere, don't build let jail down.

Speaker 1 (59:56):
There because they need to be locked up.

Speaker 3 (59:59):
It's ridiculous.

Speaker 1 (01:00:00):
And back on that.

Speaker 15 (01:00:01):
Uh uh, Samantha, Marry.

Speaker 6 (01:00:04):
You watch what I tell you? Wat should I tell you?
When it all boys out? She knows him and it's
and it's been a little while. Just like I said,
you don't walk into a club thirty minutes lady Yard
and bast Ball and they don't know each other.

Speaker 1 (01:00:17):
How you know he's a preacher.

Speaker 6 (01:00:20):
And you know her what she told me?

Speaker 1 (01:00:22):
She's out there.

Speaker 6 (01:00:22):
You know how suit You heard when she said that.
How he gonna know she will suit? But unless he
know about her background? Wow, now you just can't make
me beleave. She didn't know him, if I could be wrong,
But when it comes out, I think they're gonna have
to end.

Speaker 1 (01:00:35):
Up telling the truth. But if she does know him,
that might make it worse for her.

Speaker 6 (01:00:39):
That that's when that's what it is. That's what I'm saying.
That's well, you don't see it. And I'm not talking
about Ricky, but you don't see his wife that that
word about it. We don't know what goes on behind
closed doors. But I mean when you got a man
that you know he does this, and that it's easier,
it's less, it's easy.

Speaker 3 (01:00:58):
To be comfortable.

Speaker 6 (01:01:01):
Because I didn't really see her, just really just sad,
sad quite now you hate.

Speaker 1 (01:01:05):
To lose you, of course, she said, mister Robert.

Speaker 2 (01:01:08):
She's said sad, like I said, And everybody doesn't show
it on their face. You know, there are a lot
of people that are are are stoic as they say
that doesn't you know a lot of people don't show
emotion like like we all think that they should, you
know what I'm saying.

Speaker 6 (01:01:24):
But if you get about of bed in the past
at twelve o'clock at night and go from with her
to the bards, you know something's not right with that.

Speaker 1 (01:01:32):
You know that?

Speaker 6 (01:01:34):
Yeah, I hate it, I really hate it. I really
what you know, what what goes on in the dog
would come to light, you know?

Speaker 1 (01:01:40):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:01:40):
And yeah, and some things said and some things may
come to light, yeah very soon, thank you, mister.

Speaker 6 (01:01:47):
Don't want to realize it. But I sure appreciate it.

Speaker 11 (01:01:49):
Stalking.

Speaker 2 (01:01:49):
Oh, I appreciate you. Thank you so much for calling in. Yeah,
you know, what he said is interesting. You know when
I mentioned that there are people that are stoic, meaning
don't show a lot of emotion, and we've known, you know,
in my life, I've known that to be true for
a lot of Caucasian people and a lot of people

(01:02:10):
that I've known because I'm Black, and you know, around
my family, we have been pretty emotional. But for some
of them, you know, when they would lose a family member,
they were not as emotional as we were as we are.
Now'm gonna tell you something that concerns me. There are
some people that I know. My daughter is one of
these people that can go to the doctor.

Speaker 1 (01:02:34):
She can.

Speaker 2 (01:02:34):
She's she has a high tolerance for pain, and that
means she can be an excruciating pain and you will
never know. And I don't like it. But that's my problem,
you know what I'm saying. And that's probably some doctor's
problems with people who don't show how they know they're

(01:03:00):
really feeling, you know what I'm saying, And I guess
that's why they ask you, you know, if you have
noticed if you ever been to the hospital or whatever.
They act you your level of pain from zero to ten,
and sometimes when you go to the doctor, they'll ask
you that. But I get concerned for people, especially people
that look like me, who have a high tolerance for pain.

(01:03:21):
And I think I've told this story before, but my
daughter came to me and she said, Mama, need to
go to the hospital. I did not believe her. She
had no emotion on her face at all. I didn't
believe her, and so she said, can you take me
to the hospital? I said, girl, I ain't nothing wrong with you.
And I'm ashamed that I did that, but this situation

(01:03:45):
helped me to know my daughter better. So she asked
my sister to take her to the hospital. My sister
took her to the hospital. And my sister came home
and I said, without my daughter, And I said, where
is she? She says, she's at the hospital. I say,
you left her. So I went to the hospital.

Speaker 7 (01:04:08):
Now.

Speaker 2 (01:04:08):
I just don't like to see my I don't like
for my family members to be in the hospital without
having a representative, you know what I'm saying. And I'm
so glad that I was there and I stayed with
her all nights stay with her most of the time.
Her husband was at the at work. My daughter had
to have emergency surgery. That scares me for her sometimes

(01:04:31):
and for people that I know that have a high
tolerance for pain, and maybe some of y'all are like that,
and you go to the doctor and they don't even
believe you because it doesn't show on your face. We
got to stop that. A lot of people are in
pain and they don't always show up on their face.
And they may not be physical pain, you know, it
could be emotionally. It doesn't always show up on their face,

(01:04:52):
and they're in pain, and we don't have a clue.
All right, I see you guys on hold, I'm gonna
come back and talk to you, and I'm gonna get
back to that app and their emails to see if
there are emails.

Speaker 1 (01:05:02):
But a few lines are open. You can call in
if you'd like.

Speaker 2 (01:05:05):
Nine oh one five three five nine three four two
eight hundred five zero three nine three four two eight
three three five three five nine three four two will
be back in a month. I keep wanting to say
that it's Monday, and it's not. It's Tuesday. And the
reason I think because you know we were out yesterday
and it felt like a Sunday to me, even though yeah,

(01:05:26):
it's Tuesday, and today is I think I told you
what the national days were on today. Let me see
if I can find it again so I can tell
you it is National VJ Day. This day recognizes Allied
Forces victory over Japan during the World War. During World

(01:05:47):
War Two. If you're wondering about you know there being
two days, You're right. While officials announced the surrender of
Japan to the Allies on August fifteenth, nineteen forty five,
the official signing of the surrender took place on September second,
nineteen forty five, thus officially ending World War Two.

Speaker 1 (01:06:07):
There you go, all right, let me go to the
let's see. I'm want to go to the phone, but
I do want to go to you.

Speaker 2 (01:06:15):
Guys have been emailing, okay, charges, Okay, I read that one.

Speaker 1 (01:06:20):
I read that one. I'm goa go here, mister.

Speaker 2 (01:06:22):

Speaker 2 (01:06:34):
Coach says, hey, Stormy. If the KFC was closed. Why
was there chicken available, hopefully not to serve the customers
the next day?

Speaker 1 (01:06:44):
Interesting don't know. Hm, let me see.

Speaker 2 (01:06:48):
Pastor Jay says, one call. Isn't it funny how one
call could change your situation. I'm glad you caught it
and received it. Enjoy your show all the way from Portland, Oregon.

Speaker 1 (01:07:01):
Mm hmmm, let's see.

Speaker 10 (01:07:04):

Speaker 1 (01:07:05):

go back to the phones real quick.

Speaker 1 (01:07:35):

It was a pleasure seeing you so happy at your
birthday celebration. You know what flowing you will, floating, and
you were just going around trying to just be so
cordial to everybody. I mean, you just really stretch yourself,
you really did. But it was beautiful the season, just

(01:08:40):
be so happy.

Speaker 1 (01:08:42):
Hey, did you see me dance? Did you see me dance?
Did you see me dancing?

Speaker 16 (01:08:46):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (01:08:48):
On the ground.

Speaker 7 (01:08:49):
I saw Harry Boots on the ground. Yeah, we had
a good.

Speaker 3 (01:08:57):
Time we did today. Yes, they were so much.

Speaker 1 (01:09:02):
It was so good to see you, so good to
see you.

Speaker 7 (01:09:05):
It was glad to be out. It was just so
nice to see us as people out and join ourselves. Beautiful.
I just hated about that little incident that did happen
that last night, you know, I hate that, But overall
it was just nice, just beautiful people or beautiful time.

(01:09:26):
And yeah, it was just an enjoyable day. Enjoyable day.
It was, But I want to come in about the
Mss Marion. One thing that I don't recall ever here
is any type of statements from the people who were
with her and also the persons who were working there.

(01:09:50):
What did they have to say?

Speaker 1 (01:09:52):
That's interesting.

Speaker 7 (01:09:54):
Do you think whatever they had to say played a
party in them upgrading her charges?

Speaker 1 (01:10:00):
That's interesting.

Speaker 7 (01:10:01):
I don't know, but it hasn't been made public to
haven't said too much of anything from the people who
were with her and from the person who works there.

Speaker 1 (01:10:13):
Yeah, so I don't know.

Speaker 7 (01:10:17):
It's something I don't know. Well, all right, and it
was nice meeting your gentleman friend. Also, he seems to
be a very nice gentleman. So, and he's gonna keep
you in check so you can take care of yourself.

Speaker 2 (01:10:32):
Yeah, I like it. I ain't never had nobody to
take care of me like that, Nurse Beverly.

Speaker 1 (01:10:38):
Oh hey, I ain't never had a coach cox.

Speaker 7 (01:10:46):
Everything like you got one. I'll tell you he's gonna
take care of you, keeping you out their phone, and
that phone can take up a lot of your time.

Speaker 21 (01:10:54):
It's really cool.

Speaker 7 (01:10:55):
Yes, you can go from one thing to the next.
So yeah, glad he's taking care of you. But I'm
glad you enjoyed yourself and I enjoyed being with you
Friday and on yesterday you saying the Cracy and Jerry MACKI.

Speaker 2 (01:11:13):
Yeah, we were all down there having a good time.
Thank you, Nurse Beverli.

Speaker 4 (01:11:17):
Yeah, all right, night tonight, Yes.

Speaker 1 (01:11:22):
Ma'am, thank you. Okay, bye bye bye bye.

Speaker 2 (01:11:26):
Yeah, Nurse Beverly, I wasn't the only one dancing, y'all.

Speaker 1 (01:11:30):
She cut up.

Speaker 2 (01:11:32):
I might have to release the videos, make that thing
go viral. W D I A hello, Well, you do need.

Speaker 18 (01:11:39):
To release them, because I don't believe either one y'all
can dances.

Speaker 2 (01:11:45):
I'm not the best dancer, I will tell you that,
but I will put my boots on the ground. Baby
when that song come on, I'm gonna I'm gonna get

Speaker 18 (01:11:57):
I'm glad to see your picture of you and Miss Beverly.
When I hit miss various Hogs now I can picturing
her face. Its warning for her to see her pictures.
He's a beautiful woman.

Speaker 7 (01:12:04):
That a lesson storyman.

Speaker 18 (01:12:07):
This thing with Miss Marion.

Speaker 7 (01:12:09):
Let me go back and.

Speaker 3 (01:12:10):
Really quickly to the police.

Speaker 18 (01:12:11):
Off the three police officers who granted a new trial.
Do you know usually it takes years to be granted
a new trial. I'm trying to understand what reason did
they give to have them granted a new federal trial.

Speaker 7 (01:12:25):
Nothing.

Speaker 18 (01:12:26):
They had a fair trial too, pretty guilty. Everything was done,
and within a few months they get granted a new trial.
I'm the first to saying, mythos is so freaking corrupt. Louke,
MISSUSIM don't y'all get offended with Maryll call and I
called big there and have a problem with things that
go on and missus, because you know what, I love

(01:12:46):
and appreciate my black folks and how y'all get treated sometimes,
how we and a black people get treated, I'm gonna
call it out every single time. So get offended. But
I'm gonna keep talking. That being said miss Marian now Storm,
I keep saying, people don't want to this black and white.
But that was a white woman who met a black
man in the club and they got the argument. She
went to her collar get a gun because he already

(01:13:07):
left and she's thinking the way he might come back,
I'm gonna have a gun. He get off the car
looking angry and mean, looking at this shovel coming toward her.
He shoots. We would not be.

Speaker 7 (01:13:15):
Having this dang on conversation, and we know we would.

Speaker 18 (01:13:18):
I'm trying to think, in what lifetime do you tell
me did they upgrade the charge? I'm gonna tell you
why they upgrade the charges because the gentleman, the DA
who would refused himself. It's still working behind the phone.

Speaker 4 (01:13:30):
You hen recruit.

Speaker 18 (01:13:31):
Refused himself, don't mean anything. He's still working with the
new DA on the scene, trying to get everything they
can out this woman. Because how do you upgrade her
to the second degree murder when even if we don't
see nothing, we saw the par We need to see
the only part we need to see, says at.

Speaker 3 (01:13:48):
The very least, the first, the first charge.

Speaker 18 (01:13:51):
So you mean to tell me that they argue outside
the club? We see him now, he had a chance
to leave. Bottom line, I'll get nobody say this man
had a chance to leave. They keep going back for
she wouldn't get her gun.

Speaker 19 (01:14:05):
I don't care she wouldn't.

Speaker 21 (01:14:06):
Got her gun.

Speaker 7 (01:14:07):
He was gone, he came back.

Speaker 18 (01:14:09):
Story the fact that he came back. We got Staniel
brown Wall. This man he already attacked and remember this
he already attacked another person. He comes back angry and
you can't defend yourself as a woman.

Speaker 3 (01:14:21):
And they upbrad the second degree murder. No menshis, no meantis.

Speaker 18 (01:14:25):
We got to start calling out was calling out these
three college fen and getting ready with murderer, okay, because
that's what the system won. This man if he get
out and he gonna get off because he wasn't stand
stand down.

Speaker 6 (01:14:36):
No, I love him to death.

Speaker 3 (01:14:37):
But that's they body.

Speaker 18 (01:14:38):
They want to see somebody pay for killing they buddy
who they thought it was their good friend.

Speaker 2 (01:14:42):
And that's all to it.

Speaker 6 (01:14:43):
There's no reason other reason why.

Speaker 18 (01:14:45):
They were they would they would upgrade the charges.

Speaker 6 (01:14:47):
On this woman.

Speaker 18 (01:14:47):
But anyway, we are gonna see what happens, and hopefully
miss Marian if you listen out there, baby girl, you
need to be starting.

Speaker 6 (01:14:55):
You a go find me account. You need you a
half powered.

Speaker 18 (01:14:57):
Lawyers like that rapper Doom did in the missis and
shut them down because missus d is are weak and
they we won't put something on black people.

Speaker 6 (01:15:06):
We don't stand up for it, and we won't put
charges on them.

Speaker 18 (01:15:08):
But again, Stormy, thank you so much for letting me in.

Speaker 2 (01:15:11):

Speaker 21 (01:18:05):
W D I A hello, Hello, my beautiful Stormy.

Speaker 2 (01:18:10):
How you know I'm good, My beautiful Miss Lucille k
tron I passed by your place yesterday.

Speaker 21 (01:18:20):
I'd be so glad when I when I can welcome
you all back in.

Speaker 1 (01:18:25):
Oh nice, Yeah, we'll be glad to.

Speaker 21 (01:18:29):
I just want to applaud our mayor of Memphis, Mayor A.
People don't know the time, the energy, nor the preparation
it took to put that on tree.

Speaker 3 (01:18:45):
For everybody's stormy.

Speaker 21 (01:18:47):
Yeah, everybody and all races like last year, they showed
up and showed out, no problem. Yeah, we cannot sit back.
The media has a way with all the good that
he does in this city, they have a way of
beating Memphis down when it comes.

Speaker 3 (01:19:08):
To Mill Street.

Speaker 7 (01:19:09):
And I don't understand that you had fifteen twenty.

Speaker 1 (01:19:13):
Thousand people, a bunch of us, whole bunch of.

Speaker 2 (01:19:16):
Us, yes, ma'am, is storming black and white, green and yellow.

Speaker 21 (01:19:22):
Yes, indeed. And so I don't understand with all the
goods they sharing all the bad on Facebook, they not
sharing the good. Make me understand this.

Speaker 3 (01:19:34):
And you know, just like I love my city.

Speaker 21 (01:19:38):
We can't control every little thing that goes on.

Speaker 3 (01:19:42):
But people better know.

Speaker 21 (01:19:44):
That the police was there undercover and all down the boys,
they tebody, the kids storming somebody child that's out there
at ten o'clock at night. That knows exactly what they're
coming for. That young boy that had that gun, he had.

Speaker 3 (01:20:02):
No reason to shoot it.

Speaker 21 (01:20:04):
But don't get mad at Memphis. Get mad at your
governor that allows these guns to be in the street
like they are. Memphis is a tourists and millions billions
of dollars, not millions, billions.

Speaker 3 (01:20:20):
Of dollars spent every year, every year.

Speaker 1 (01:20:23):
Stormy billions.

Speaker 21 (01:20:26):
So you know our police is going to protect all
they can, but they can't be everywhere. You know, these
children need help, and it's not on one person or two,
and we snub our nose at them.

Speaker 3 (01:20:41):
I'm not afraid to talk to.

Speaker 21 (01:20:43):
Them, but most we snub our nose at them because
of the way they look. But if you get talked
to them, you'll realize it's Miss.

Speaker 3 (01:20:54):
Lucilla, Miss Stormy.

Speaker 21 (01:20:56):
We don't know they pain, we don't know why they
go out there and the food, and yet they knuck aheads.
And I can call them that because day my children
I'll get in the street doing that. It hurt my
heart to see that last night, but that was not
on bill. That was on Memphis, like gas and water,

(01:21:16):
a lot everybody had gone home Basically, they knew what
they was doing. They came to cause troubles for me,
that's what they did. So I just want our media
to know you can't when you go to New York,
you a crime happened every hour, but you don't see

(01:21:37):
it broadcast on their news. The way Memphis beat up Memphis,
I mean the way the news media beat up Memphis.
But all of that good yesterday, all the love shown yesterday,
I mean, all the happiness and our babies down there,
and that's what they choose to put on the news,
just running ridiculously. So again, Mayor Paul, y'all, I pall you, sir,

(01:22:03):
because I don't know anyone that would happen best that
much time for our city to put on such a ultimately.

Speaker 4 (01:22:14):
Event as that nine o one.

Speaker 3 (01:22:16):
Yes, I love you and I.

Speaker 21 (01:22:21):
A y'all was so awesome yesterday and I look forward
to seeing your next year.

Speaker 1 (01:22:28):
Yes, ma'am, I gotta run.

Speaker 2 (01:22:30):
I got to get to this classic TV throwback, But
thank you so much for sharing that. And I feel
like I saved the best for last. But God did
that because I didn't know you were going.

Speaker 4 (01:22:40):
To be last, beautiful Stormy.

Speaker 1 (01:22:44):
Thank you, my beautiful Miss Lucille.

Speaker 2 (01:22:45):
Ok tron, thank you okay, okay, bye bye wow yeah okay,
yeah she said it. It was beautiful. And Mayor Paul Young,
you did a fabulous job. Let me get some of
these comments on the talk, like.

Speaker 7 (01:23:01):
Jackson Mayhem is already in the White House and it
spelled tr r ump Trump.

Speaker 1 (01:23:10):
It can't get any worse. Thank your Stormy byeye.

Speaker 4 (01:23:16):
The word is the support from the mean too meanto movement.

Speaker 13 (01:23:20):
I don't know, Hi, Stormy, Hey, how you doing. Haven't
been lady birthday? I saw a clip of you on
Facebook from nine on one yesterday. Lady, you are gorgeous.
Thank you stay pretty Stormy just.

Speaker 2 (01:23:35):
Hollering at you, bye bye, all right, bye bye storm
If you remember in the video he got out the
truck and went over there too.

Speaker 8 (01:23:45):
If I remember, she was telling me to go ahead on,
but he wouldn't go ahead on. But the key is
you never get out the car, even if it's road rags.
You stay in that car because hey, they bought the
threat to you. You understand what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (01:24:03):
I hear you talking
