Speaker 1 (00:00):
I don't know what it is. So yesterday I got
a chance to celebrate with a woman who celebrates everybody
in Memphis, y'all. She celebrates everybody, everybody she comes across.
She's probably taking a picture. If you ever see a
she'd probably take a picture, which Gail Jones Carson celebrates.

(00:20):
If you go look at her page on social media,
she celebrates every What I did not know was that
Gail used to work for the tri State Defender.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Had no idea, no idea.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
God Gil a lot of amazing history in the city
of Memphis that a lot of folks don't know anything about.
And Gail Jones Carson is a lula and a Shikam
she is, and you know, so deserving of that birthday
party that she had yesterday, her son Brian had for
her and her daughter in law Kivia, and her family.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
Just so deserving of that.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
You know, you ever met somebody who you know, really
don't want you to make a fuss over them, but
you know that they're worthy of being made of fuss over,
you know, And that's Gail.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Yeah, quiet fond does what she is.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Yeah, she's about She's about her business too, moving and
shaking and y'all don't even know nothing about it, don't
know nothing anyway. So I was down there at her
party and there were a lot of there was a
who's who of the city of Memphis. I saw Mayor
Paul Young was there, and his lovely wife, our first

(01:35):
Lady UH, and our former first Lady UH, Melanie Strickland,
and Jim Strickland was there. I'm I'm trying to tell
you y'all better get to know Gail Jones cousin. If
you don't know, well, maybe she don't want you to
get to know it, but anyway, she probably does. She's
nice to everybody. But at any rate. We were having
a conversation, and before I get to my formalities, I

(01:58):
want to share this with you because I might get So.
I was having a conversation with somebody in the room
and we were talking about politics, and we talked about
who could be next after Steve Cohen, and you know,
we talked about how Steve Cohen, you know, his congressional seat,

(02:21):
that that the seat that he has. This man, he
it's almost like, you know, if he were like on
a throne or something. It's been difficult to dethrone him.
Nobody's done it. Mayor former Mayor Willie Harrington.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Tried to do it.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
There have been others who have tried to come up
against Steve Cohen and failed, and some of them miserably.
I think Ricky Wilkins, before he passed away, May he
rest in peace, tried to do it and he I
think he came a little close. He might have been
the closest one there there been. There have been a
lot of people that have tried Unsea Representative Steve Coad

(03:03):
and I don't know if he's getting ready to retire
or what his plans are, but I hear he's gonna
have some stiff competition.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
That's what I'm here.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
And I don't know if I'm at liberty to say,
but I heard Can I say it? Can I say it?
I heard now that Shelby County mayor may Mister Harris,
Mayor Harris could be running against him.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
What do y'all think? Could Mayor Harris be the one
who if Steve Cohen runs.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Could he be the one?

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Or what about Ramell Shackberry? Maybe she wants that seat.
I don't know. I don't know, but it's gonna be interesting.
You know what I'm saying, It's gonna be in interesting
and I you know, I just want people. I think
the biggest thing that that that I would like to see.
And I know you you are you know, you have

(04:10):
the right to do what you want to do. If
you don't want to vote, you don't have to. But
I just I want to see people take part in
uh in you know, what's happening in our in our city.
Because we we complain a lot about stuff, you know,
and and sometimes we don't. That's I guess that's that

(04:33):
could be a good question. If you don't vote, do
you have a right to complain.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
For people that don't vote?

Speaker 1 (04:47):
You know, I've heard people say you don't have a
right to complain if you don't vote, but but but
but but you do, but you do, you got a
right to complain?

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Hmm, Well how much does it mean?

Speaker 1 (05:06):
I guess to you, if you complain and you don't
go vote, maybe okay, maybe it's me. Maybe maybe get
off my high horse. You know what I'm saying, I
because I would rather be one of those people that
do both. But I think you do have a right
to complain if you don't vote, If you are being
affected by, you know, what's happening in your city? You

(05:27):
got to right. Why is it that we don't say
things about stuff?

Speaker 3 (05:31):
You know?

Speaker 1 (05:31):
Are we Are we quiet about the things that we
shouldn't be quiet about?

Speaker 2 (05:36):
Are we quiet about our roads?

Speaker 1 (05:38):
Are we, you know, quiet about certain things that's going
on with the the you know, the violence in our communities?
Are we quiet about things that we shouldn't be quiet about?
What's got us to the point that we don't say
nothing about nothing?

Speaker 2 (05:58):
We just go in the house like whatever. You know
what I'm saying, complaint, I say, you should complain.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Whether you vote or not, you got a right to
say something, You got a right to speak up?

Speaker 4 (06:11):
You do.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
But w d I a listeners, I'm just wondering what
do you think about that? Do you feel like people
have a right to say anything if they don't vote?
And could it happen to Steve Cohen? Could he Could
he be d th Uh? I hate to say it

(06:32):
like this, but could he be d I was gonna
say d throne, but I don't think that's the word
to say.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
Could he be unseated?

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Hmm? He got a stronghold, He got a stronghold and
out here. He'll go wherever you are. He'll come to
your picnic. You invite him, he'll go, mm hmm, come
to your house there. You don't be saying, keep going.

(07:02):
We're calling for nothing. So I'm just curious what y'all
think about that. You don't let me know. Today is
pardon Day. Happy pardon day people, and not pardon day
for for the governor or the president. No. Uh. This
is the opportunity for you to seek forgiveness where needed.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Today is pardon day. You can also say pardon me
or excuse me as appropriate. In today's busy society, too
many people race about their lives forgetting the small courtesies
in life. And I hate to say it, but sometimes
these kids don't know nothing about courtesies. They're walking the room,
won't say nothing to you. You know, they'll see four

(07:48):
five grown ups, won't say nothing. They got their head
down in their cell phone. You gotta teach them. You
got you gotta, you gotta dealing. But today is part
of me day. So it's a good day to tell.
When you walk in the room, speak to somebody or
say excuse me, you know what I'm saying, or you
know thank you. Ooh, that's a good one. Teaching these

(08:08):
kids how to say thank.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
You, that's a good one.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
Some of y'all still teach your grandkids and even your
kids to say ma'am and sir. It's called you by
your first name. Now, that's what they do. They do different,
but they don't have to be. Just like you got

(08:35):
a right to complain about what's happening in your city,
whether you vote or don't vote. You have a right
to teach your children how to respond to adults.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
I think you teach them something, character and all that
good stuff. It builds something in a child, you know,
when they are respectful and they understand why they're that way.
You you, you're building a good human being. Mmm. And
you are.

Speaker 2 (09:07):
I was a little sad today. Over the weekend.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
It didn't happen for me Wednesday, it didn't even happen
for me Saturday. But you gotta play, they say, to win.
I ain't spent the dime on the lottery, but.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
My folks did.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
I was waiting on somebody in my family to win.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
Ain't nobody won. Mmmmm.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
They said that powerball jackpot they got two winners, and I.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
Don't think anybody from Tennessee.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
And somebody in Tennessee may have won some small prizes
or whatever, but one point me and my family would
have come up. Oh my goodness. I was thinking about
all the things I could do with that much. I
would not if I won, I wouldn't. I would do
one or two things. I would move somewhere when nobody

(10:11):
knew my name. Or I would give all that money away,
except for so much of it.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
I would keep so much. You can have no normal life.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
And do you know how many people that have won
the lottery and are broke.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
There's a lot of people that have won that lottery.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
And they broke too many, too many. The first thing
you should do is is well, I can't say the
first thing you should do because I don't really know that.
I guess hire an attorney, or stay quiet, don't tell nobody,

(10:55):
and then you gotta. I would think, you, well, I
don't know who is so much theft going on? Who
can you trust? That's the thing I would probably tell
I wouldn't take the full payout. I'd probably tell them
pay me so much. But I saw a story where
the folks that were winning the you know that thing

(11:15):
they were doing sweepstakes where they were, you know, going
to people's houses years ago and telling them they want
uh that sweep stay. I can't remember the complete name
of it. I saw a story where these lot, a
lot of those folks were supposed to get money for life,
and they're checks.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
A lot of them an't geting no checks.

Speaker 1 (11:31):
No more happy than the folks money they're supposed to
be getting checks for life. I digress. Let me get
to Memphis because there's a lot of other things going
on around it. Really is. Kudos to the Memphis Public Library, y'all.
Y'all tell me if you saw this. I saw it
on social media where they got social workers at the libraries.

(11:52):
Now library social workers are here. Is what they say. Uh,
you can call two one one an accident, speak with
a social worker. Leave your name and number with a
librarian at a local library, and a social.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
Worker we'll call you.

Speaker 1 (12:08):
You can meet with a social worker and outreach specialists
at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library, White Haven, e Shelby, Hollywood,
and Raleigh ten am to six pm. Some of y'all
been wanting help. Help is on the way. That's some help.

(12:30):
Right there. There's some help social workers at the libraries.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
Now.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
I was puzzled when I saw the story about the man.
This is in Memphis Publishers clearing house. That's right, Anita,
Miss Anita, thank you so much for telling me. That
reminded me that's who it is. Yeah, they say, the
people that were getting money for life's supposed to be
getting it for life. Their money is dried up. They're
not getting checks right about now. I don't know what's
up with that. But there's too many thieves in the

(12:59):
world today. People, Oh, it's too many thieves. Ooh, you
can't trust people like you, could you?

Speaker 3 (13:05):
Ever?

Speaker 1 (13:06):
It's been fever has been around a long time, but
it seemed like we got more thieves people stealing money
than we ever had before. Is it just me?

Speaker 2 (13:17):
Or maybe maybe? Is it social media?

Speaker 1 (13:19):
Is it the way that the media is now that
you know so much that you didn't know before. Is
that what it is? I don't know, but it seems
like it's old on thieves today. People see money and
they just lose it. What is it about money that
people lose their minds? I mean, I know everybody needs it,
everybody wants it, everybody feel like they got to have it,

(13:43):
you know what I'm saying. But ooh, anyway, this story,
y'all probably saw this.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
The guy that was outside the.

Speaker 1 (13:52):
Outside of a market here in Memphis, and I saw
the video. He's outside and he's talked looking to somebody
and you know they just talking. Uh, two of them.
I ain't gonna call them. Why what y'all people be

(14:14):
calling them? Ain't gonna call him that? Well one of them.
Wait a minute, Yeah, I'm looking at the video. Dude
had a gun on his side. The kid comes up,
takes it. Kid had on a mask too. Why are
you wearing a gun where everybody can see it? Night

(14:37):
they took took this man's gun. But why are you
wearing a gun so that everybody can see it?

Speaker 2 (14:43):
And how m.

Speaker 1 (14:46):
How is it so easily accessible that a kid could
come up to you and steal your gun?

Speaker 2 (14:52):
Is it just me?

Speaker 1 (14:54):
Is it just me? Maybe it's just me? Is that
story right there? That story kind of the one't got
a lost man? Yeah, that was that happened in Memphis.
I'm sure y'all saw that. That happened in Memphis. There's
a lot of stories around here over the weekend that
I just, oh, my goodness, it's I heard stand talking

(15:15):
this morning about the National Guard coming in and who
I was talking, uh uh, you know, to my man,
and he was telling me, he said, I, if they come,
they ain't coming by themselves. It ain't gonna just be
the National Guard. It's gonna be the FBI, it's gonna

(15:36):
be the Marshals, it's gonna be Ice, it's gonna be
if the National Guard, they are not come, it's they're
not coming alone. They're not they boots on the ground
for real. They bringing people with them. They are not
coming by themselves. That's what he said. Yeah. Yeah, I

(16:02):
saw this story and I thought, what, I don't know
if y'all sell this story. Okay, uh this this woman
went into court and this this story kind of tripped
me out. But listen to this at the podium.

Speaker 3 (16:24):
What are you what exactly are you wearing?

Speaker 2 (16:26):
I'm sorry, you have a swimsuit on to me.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
No, it's not a swimsuit.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
And I did not know this was a court day.

Speaker 5 (16:32):
I just told the lady back there that I'm not
dressed properly for court at all.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
Really, yes, you are not. I agree with that one
hundred percent.

Speaker 4 (16:39):
That's that's that's very insulting to me that you would
come into my courtroom dressed like that.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
I apologize. I had no idea this was. It was
in as a visit and not a court day, so
I was unaware that this was a court day because
she ran on the back of the car and visit.
So y'all got to see this woman had a bonnet
and what looks like a swim suit in court. Guess

(17:10):
who's gonna see that? A lot of folks.

Speaker 2 (17:14):
But why would in the world would you? M?

Speaker 1 (17:19):
Okay, the judge did go ahead, and he went ahead
to and and you know, saw her. But I just thought,
that is that's one of the strangest stories I have seen.
I couldn't believe it. How do you come to court
with really no clothes on? And the whole time she's
standing there, she's kind of hiding one of her boobs

(17:42):
with her hand. Uh uh you uh uh m.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
You you're not even get me to come out of the.

Speaker 1 (17:49):
House like that. And then court you were in the
courthouse evidently, because that's where the court room is.

Speaker 2 (17:55):
So I I don't get it.

Speaker 6 (18:01):
What's she wrong?

Speaker 1 (18:02):
What do y'all think?

Speaker 3 (18:03):
Now?

Speaker 1 (18:03):
He eventually did. I mean he did see her, you know,
but he had some words for it.

Speaker 2 (18:09):
Was never said that this was a quick day.

Speaker 7 (18:15):
All right.

Speaker 8 (18:15):
This is case number two three C or four or
four or five four to two the state of Ohio
versus Monique.

Speaker 2 (18:22):
Yeah, that was in Ohio. She literally has a bunnet on.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
Now. He was talking about her outfit, but she had
a bunnet on too.

Speaker 2 (18:31):
He didn't say anything about the bunnet, but he said,
you look like.

Speaker 5 (18:36):
Now.

Speaker 1 (18:37):
I told you about the airport a couple of weeks ago.
But Court, is it just me? Is it just me?
M Let me get to these phones and see what
y'all talking about on this Monday.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
Let's go ahead, WD.

Speaker 5 (19:02):
I A hello, Oh wow, Monday even afternoon story.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
Hey Nurse Beverly, how are you doing?

Speaker 9 (19:12):
I'm laughing at this last story.

Speaker 3 (19:15):
You give all my words?

Speaker 5 (19:17):
Can you believe that all my words goes to.

Speaker 3 (19:23):
Court like that? So that might be her day in
how she.

Speaker 5 (19:27):
Dresses every day, or she may be trying.

Speaker 3 (19:30):
To play memberly slow.

Speaker 5 (19:33):
I don't know, but that's a heart in mess and
I'm just I get so simple sean women out will
be bonnets.

Speaker 9 (19:42):
On their head.

Speaker 5 (19:43):
Need pajama pants and the fund of house. She's I
have no words. It's just ridicious. Jester is laid in twice.

Speaker 3 (19:54):
And that's what it is to go.

Speaker 2 (19:56):
To court like that, Nurse Beverly, to go to court.

Speaker 5 (20:00):
He should have he should have sent her out of that.
He should have sent her out of that. That's disrespecting
the court too.

Speaker 1 (20:08):
That's respectful.

Speaker 6 (20:09):
But let me let me move on.

Speaker 5 (20:13):
You know, the people who win the lottery, you know
what I often wonder. I wonder do they choose their
own numbers or do they let the machine choose the winner?

Speaker 9 (20:24):
The ones who win. I just wonder about that.

Speaker 10 (20:29):
You know, I don't know.

Speaker 5 (20:30):
And then on the topics of Christy Representative Steve Collin.
You know, he's been in office for so so long,
and I think he's one of those persons that he's
one in those name recognition He wins on name recognition.

Speaker 10 (20:50):
People are so used to that name.

Speaker 5 (20:52):
And I'm not taking anything away from him because he
does seem to be a good, you know, fighter and
Congress try to stand up for what's right and go
against what's wrong. So I think people do like him.
But I think the fact of its name is so
well known, so familiar that people recognize that name, so

(21:15):
they feel comfortable putting the legal form. But I wonder
in the future if maybe Justin Peerson may try to
go for their seat, or if that depends on what
what area they're in Hmmm.

Speaker 1 (21:29):
I don't know it would be I think maybe Ramesh
maybe in that area so she could be born. Parents
could could go for it. But can you can you
who can do it?

Speaker 2 (21:43):
Who can?

Speaker 1 (21:43):
Unsee Steve going? I think Justin Pearson definitely, could you
think so?

Speaker 5 (21:50):
Oh yeah, definitely hands down?

Speaker 9 (21:55):
Hands down.

Speaker 5 (21:57):
And another thing I want to say, I think he
cheered him in the day. They're walking from the gas
station at three.

Speaker 2 (22:03):
Thirty in the morning.

Speaker 1 (22:04):
Yeah, that's so out of order.

Speaker 5 (22:07):
I hope children to check the services is checking into
that home situation, because why in the world would you
be out at three thirty in the morning yourself, What
did you need from the gas station? And then you're
gonna have your children out at three thirty.

Speaker 8 (22:24):
In the morning.

Speaker 10 (22:25):
That's that's then.

Speaker 9 (22:27):
I hope.

Speaker 5 (22:27):
I don't know what to call it, a child neglect,
a child abuse, or I don't know what you call it,
but I hope the call him and the Child and
Services is checking into.

Speaker 11 (22:36):
That home because that's out of all.

Speaker 9 (22:39):
That is out of order, And if he had been.

Speaker 5 (22:40):
Hisself at home, he would still have his six.

Speaker 1 (22:43):
Hundred dollars in his iPhone. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (22:48):
So anyway, that's my time. Oh I'm gonna tell you
one last thing about the National God What I heard
o the Satha say on the h.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
On the news you're talking about when he was on
his commentary.

Speaker 5 (23:02):
Yeah, twenty twenty four, he said, as far as the
National Guard coming to Messal, he said that that may
not never happen because don Trump likes to pick fights
and Tennessee is a red as a blue state. I
mean it's a red state. I'm sorry, he's a red state.

Speaker 10 (23:26):
So he really don't.

Speaker 5 (23:27):
Have anybody to fight with because you know, uh, the
governments in this poem and Marshall Blackborn is in his corner.
So all the sample say, you know, he don't have
any Trump don't have anybody to fight with here in Tennessee.

Speaker 3 (23:42):
So he may not be so gone.

Speaker 5 (23:44):
Hold about sending National Guard here because he has nobody
to fight because.

Speaker 1 (23:51):
This is true of red state.

Speaker 3 (23:53):
I thought that was so so firm.

Speaker 2 (23:55):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (23:57):
Yeah, all right, see.

Speaker 3 (24:00):
A beautiful loss back.

Speaker 2 (24:04):
Alway, Thank you, Nurse Beverily. I appreciate you.

Speaker 1 (24:08):
I'm I'm gonna get on and get to this these commercials,
but it's always great hearing from you as well.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
Tell coach we.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
Said hello, okay, story bye bye, all right, bye bye.
All right, y'all, we got some talking to do. Hit
me up nine on one five three five, nine three
four two eight hundred five zero three ninety three four
two eight three three five three five nine three four
two will be back.

Speaker 4 (24:30):
You're listening to the Stormy T Show on A M
ten seventy w D I A.

Speaker 1 (24:37):
Every now and then you need some forgiveness. Don't like
like y'all perfect. Y'all not perfect, y'all. Ain't none of
us perfect, no, not one. No, I'm not. We'll mess
up every now and then, and we'll say the wrong thing.

Speaker 2 (24:49):
Every now and then. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (24:55):
I do believe in apologizing to people when I'm wrong.
You know what I'm saying, saying something, But I don't
know if a lot of people are like that.

Speaker 2 (25:06):
Anyway.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
Let me get back to it. I just saw where
the winner is. That power ball came out of Saint Louis,
Missouri eight hundred and ninety three point five million dollars. Congratulations.

(25:27):
I guess.

Speaker 2 (25:30):
It wasn't me.

Speaker 1 (25:31):
I wanted to win so bad, even though I didn't play.
I was hoping my family members won and retired me.
It didn't happen, though. I forgive them though, because it's
pardon day, I forgive them all. Let me go to
the these emails because some of y'all have tapped in

(25:52):
and on the well emails, and let me read the emails,
and some of y'all have tapped app to.

Speaker 2 (25:56):
I want to go there as well. Let's see.

Speaker 1 (25:58):
Clyde says, I will vote for Senator Cohen for office again.
And if you don't vote, you don't have a right
to complain about nothing. Gloves Dennis says, high stormy, Hey there,
I love to vote, but Steve Cohen has a lot
of clout and respect in the House. He works pretty hard.

(26:19):
We better be careful what we ask for. Tracey Morrell says, voting,
I feel that as long as you are a tax
paying citizen, you can complain about what's not being done
in your city.

Speaker 2 (26:34):
I always make time to vote.

Speaker 1 (26:36):
However, I have not cared the individuals who were chosen
to run in the last three local elections. The national
elections have spoiled my appetite for politics. You do have
a right, African consultants say, says, you pay your taxes,

(26:56):
so even if you don't vote, you have a right.
As far as Steve Cohen is concerned, it's going to
be very difficult to unseat him as he comes from
the chosen of God's group and that ain't black folks
according to the Bible. This country, these country, bumpkin black
folks gonna vote him back in. It's medieval backwardness. Come on,

(27:21):
African consultants, now, we ain't got to be that mean. Miss
Cassandra says birthday wishes. Hey, Stormy, I just wanted to
wish my son Otis o Dog happy heavenly birthday and
shout out to my Virgo sister bird Legs and the
DIA callers.

Speaker 2 (27:36):
Jackson, thank you for all that you do. Stormy.

Speaker 1 (27:38):
Okay, this is clyde'sys. The reason Steve Cohen wins all
the time is because he'll just like them forward boys
when like the Four Boys, I guess is what you're
trying to say when people need him he'll show up
to represent that even though they're not in his district.

Speaker 2 (28:00):
Okay, let's go to the app.

Speaker 1 (28:03):
Good afternoon, staring, good afternoon, not really well, probably.

Speaker 8 (28:09):
Is a lot of these, but I'm gonna put it
like this, it's a lot of devils.

Speaker 7 (28:15):
In the world.

Speaker 6 (28:16):
The world is good.

Speaker 3 (28:17):
It's just a bunch of devils in this world that's
steering it raw.

Speaker 7 (28:23):
Have a good day starring Michigan.

Speaker 1 (28:26):
Okay, Michigan, come on here.

Speaker 3 (28:31):
Trump is the National Guards.

Speaker 11 (28:32):
They do to come down here and Trump to pass
that law, just like you passed in the state of
bus And if you commit a murder and missus you
caver sat him again maybe to pass that call trumpets
the National Guards here, bob down here. We are rank

(28:54):
number one in the worst violence.

Speaker 12 (28:58):
Okay, but after no stormy T stormy T. Some judges
on the allowed you in their courtroom with shorts off
right right.

Speaker 1 (29:09):
The judge told that woman she looked like she got
a swimsuit on and she had a bunnet on her head.
Where's you coming from bed? As well as like she
came straight you know how you have had them T
shirts day straight out of Compton, straight out of Memphis.

Speaker 2 (29:27):
Straight out of bed. That's what she looked like. Bless
her heart.

Speaker 1 (29:32):
W D I A hello, hello Stormy.

Speaker 2 (29:36):
T Hey lady D. How you doing.

Speaker 9 (29:39):
I'm weirdy you sail.

Speaker 1 (29:41):
I'm doing good, hanging in here all this looking Monday
and doing good. It looks stormy. Uh.

Speaker 9 (29:49):
Well, not all young people, because I love young people,
Like I said, been young yourself before, right, But that's
the way young people come out. And I told you.
I asked my lady, I'm taking her to the store.
I said, well, you better put some clothes off. She said,
I tell you, I'm not going no where but in
the store. I said, that's the problem, you going into

(30:10):
the grocery store with the brody on your head. How
she and spungewib She said, you know we just running
in to get Now now we're not going in.

Speaker 1 (30:22):
I'm taking you to the store. I'll be waiting on
you in the car.

Speaker 9 (30:27):
But that's how they go out.

Speaker 1 (30:28):
And well, no, this lady, this lady was not young,
lady D, she's not she's not a teenager. She's my child.
Bout the teen age. They didn't make thirties.

Speaker 9 (30:40):
I got nieces wouldn't make thirties and forties.

Speaker 13 (30:43):
They don't.

Speaker 9 (30:45):
They don't do like we used to do.

Speaker 13 (30:47):
You know, we would run in the store, but we would.

Speaker 9 (30:50):
Take off our house.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
She yeah, But not all of them, lady, d All
of them young folks ain't walking around looking like that,
and they know not to go to court like that.

Speaker 7 (31:00):
Going in.

Speaker 9 (31:01):
Most young people in today's where you saw the voice
last night, they don't dress like.

Speaker 1 (31:09):
We think they should dressed.

Speaker 9 (31:11):
This a new day, a new time.

Speaker 10 (31:13):
Even though they had an order.

Speaker 9 (31:15):
You see, she didn't think she.

Speaker 14 (31:16):
Was out of order.

Speaker 9 (31:18):
She had a reason and knew she was out of order.

Speaker 1 (31:21):
But what did she say? I didn't know I was
going to it today?

Speaker 9 (31:24):
See I called her an answer. Now people are gonna
give you an answer.

Speaker 3 (31:29):
They got I don't.

Speaker 9 (31:30):
Show what you say to them. They got an answer
for an ed And again be either or not. This
the world where you live in Stormy and the guy
that Miss Devil was talking about I was talking about it,
and this morning that gay problem me even either all
of a sudden, somebody take their cell phone and see

(31:53):
hundred dollars number one, unless you flashed me, how did
they know you were going to the How did they
know you had an eyePhone and miss Beverley to believe
it or not, time to protect the service. It's no
long even though they should have been in the bed.
It's hard to get see bed, said Rah unless you

(32:16):
know for a say to them, but it's my child
abuse and plus they could have been teenagers, which I
think they were teenagers and some of their friends. When
you find that kind of stuff, tharn me it's closed.
I'm again you Unless he was flashing his six hundred

(32:36):
dollars in his eyephlle, how did they know you was
going to the store that time of morning.

Speaker 1 (32:44):
You should have been in the bed. You know what, lady?
Did you now? You're right? And why have you got
six hundred dollars on you in the middle of the
night going to the store.

Speaker 2 (32:57):
What is you doing?

Speaker 1 (33:01):
And why you got six hundred dollars?

Speaker 2 (33:03):
Hold you what?

Speaker 1 (33:05):
What? Unless when he said it took six hundreds and
they got his phone? Interesting, Thank you, lady, appreciate you calling.

Speaker 3 (33:17):
Okay WD I a hello Stormy to see Happy Monday.

Speaker 7 (33:22):
How you doing.

Speaker 1 (33:22):
I'm great, Jackson, happy Monday yourself.

Speaker 7 (33:27):
You know all my fans and all my constitutus, I
wan't going to mention this. But you know liberals, liberals
blame everything but the criminals.

Speaker 3 (33:39):
I mean, he can carry ten.

Speaker 7 (33:41):
Thousand dollars in his pocket. You want to at any
time the day you want to. He has the right.

Speaker 3 (33:49):
So six dollars in his pocket.

Speaker 7 (33:51):
You blame the criminal. That's just like blaming the girl
wearing the beaty shorts at three o'clock in the morning
and get raped.

Speaker 1 (34:00):
Now, you Jack, and you don't. You don't spoke up something.
You don't spoke a word. Look at you, a look
at you. You're right now, he can carry that kind
of money. And I guess the reason why I stay
in the middle of the night because he got robbed.

Speaker 2 (34:14):
So I think it's a reasonable question.

Speaker 1 (34:17):
Would you carry six hundred dollars with you if you're
walking to the store in the middle.

Speaker 2 (34:22):
Of the night, which you do that?

Speaker 7 (34:24):
I should have the right.

Speaker 6 (34:26):
I'm out siding at you.

Speaker 2 (34:27):
If you had the right, I said, would you do?

Speaker 1 (34:30):
It?

Speaker 7 (34:31):
Depends on where I'm walking.

Speaker 2 (34:33):
May you ain't even carry those six ores? You ain't
got six sone of this?

Speaker 3 (34:37):
Kidd, love me six dollars?

Speaker 1 (34:44):
Hey, I got you, I got you, Jack.

Speaker 7 (34:47):
Now, before I get to my top five people who
could thunder seat the Steve Coin. Uh Nurse Bubi took
five minutes to talk anyway, Uh, nurse definitely.

Speaker 2 (35:01):
Y'all need keeping up with some time, don't you. Oh
that's Cole Jackson. You have to say that.

Speaker 7 (35:08):
I wish women would stop highest the name of the name.

Speaker 3 (35:10):
They just had to slip that in there. Uh uh.

Speaker 1 (35:15):
Just like you can carry six hundred dollars to the
store at night, a woman.

Speaker 2 (35:18):
Can happen NATO day. And I leave alone.

Speaker 7 (35:20):
And let me talk about the National Guard.

Speaker 1 (35:24):
Let me five people that could unseat going.

Speaker 3 (35:30):
I am talked about the National Jar. It won't take long.
The National Guard. Now, like I said this morning, why
are upstanding people.

Speaker 7 (35:40):
Worried about the National Guard?

Speaker 3 (35:41):
What is the negative connotation or what is negative about
the National Guard coming?

Speaker 7 (35:47):
What's what's the negative? Give me one negative thing?

Speaker 1 (35:51):
Uh well, let me tell you one thing that I
am concerned about.

Speaker 2 (35:56):
And and I you asked.

Speaker 1 (36:01):
My biggest I guess biggest fear because we know this
happens and it has happened, is people that are are
arrested wrongfully. You know it could be a misspelling of
a name and things like that. And now with the
whole National you know rollback on CASU lists. You know

(36:21):
the bail system. I mean you could be innocent and
in jail forever forever. Ever.

Speaker 3 (36:30):
No, it's it's rare. I don't think the massill Guard it.

Speaker 1 (36:33):
May while it may be rare, Jackson, it has happened
in Memphis.

Speaker 3 (36:38):
But they're just going to be detaining people. They're going
to be holding people.

Speaker 1 (36:42):
Well, you asked me a question and I gave you
an answer.

Speaker 7 (36:46):
Okay, okay, you know what the people people uh accept
people answers. Well, you got the top five, the top
five people who could and I heard you rhy this morning.

Speaker 3 (36:59):
You're our guy and about this time round Okay anyway.

Speaker 7 (37:03):
Uh uh my top five people who could unsee Congressman
called number five, it's called of your bar. Number four
is justin Pearson, although I don't agree with most things
he says. But then anyway, Number three, Al Green a
number two, he's gonna move to Memphis. Marco McClendon. He

(37:27):
could unsee Steve Cohen. And the number one person that
could unsee Steve Cohen not me. I mean you gonna
say it's my name, but uh, Joe Birch. Everybody likes
Joe Birch.

Speaker 1 (37:44):
Even okay, and.

Speaker 7 (37:46):
If his nice hair and everything everybody likes Joe Birch.

Speaker 1 (37:50):
Yeah, okay, all right, Jackson, Okay, I respect your list.

Speaker 7 (37:54):
It's all like I haven't I haven't done this in
a while.

Speaker 1 (37:59):
He kk. Hey, wasn't no.

Speaker 2 (38:01):
Need for you to do it this time? You better
say goodbye?

Speaker 7 (38:06):
Wow belah.

Speaker 1 (38:10):
Bye. You know it's a restaurant. I heard there was
a restaurant in town with that name.

Speaker 2 (38:15):
I want to go.

Speaker 1 (38:17):
Hmm, that's what I heard. Interesting list. Uh that Jackson
has Congressman Steve Cohen probably sitting there somewhere like I
wish it would. Okay, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I'm sorry,
mister Cohen, forgive me. Uh w d I a hello?

Speaker 8 (38:37):
Hey?

Speaker 1 (38:37):
What's cool? Storm? Man?

Speaker 2 (38:38):
I can't call it?

Speaker 6 (38:39):
See her?

Speaker 2 (38:39):
What's up with you?

Speaker 14 (38:41):
Man?

Speaker 1 (38:42):
Uh?

Speaker 7 (38:42):
What my guy say?

Speaker 3 (38:44):
Remember that movie Peter Restaut The Devil son in Law.
Oh my guy said, I'm living between the sky and
the earth and ain't touching.

Speaker 2 (38:51):
Dirty No what what?

Speaker 1 (38:53):
Wow?

Speaker 3 (38:57):
Yes, sir, I'm going good with those storms. I don't
reways like to do a whole lot of shout out.
If I want to give a special recipe, shout out
to the world famous Kyler Man. This will be the
time of the year where I be calling his showing
me and him and be giving each other fantasy the
football tip and I thought about him a few minutes
ago and I would get my team together.

Speaker 1 (39:15):
So shout out the world famously. I want to respond
to the brother coming Man.

Speaker 3 (39:23):
About my opinion on the National Guard. Now, I agree
crime is out of control, and yes, and Memphis does
need help. But the thing is, if they're not coming
to address what's stephen the crime, what's driving the crime,
then what's the point?

Speaker 1 (39:41):
You know, that's interesting because how do you how does
law enforcement address that?

Speaker 3 (39:53):
You know what I'm saying, Marcus says it all the time.
It's economical and it's a psychological problem. If you're not
coming to address that, all you're doing is intimidating. I
believe it's about intimidation and money period. When they come, yeah,
crowd is gonna drop simply because of the presence. But

(40:14):
once they leave, what you think is gonna happen the
same thing because you hadn't attacked what's driving.

Speaker 1 (40:22):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (40:22):
So yeah, that's that's why I hope, listen, I hope
and pray that whatever they do. They got a solid
plan and it works.

Speaker 7 (40:31):
But nah, man, I.

Speaker 3 (40:32):
Don't believe anything anything that has to do with that
that administration.

Speaker 1 (40:38):
Nah uh huh m. I had.

Speaker 3 (40:45):
Let me put you on the spot. Let me put
you on the spot. Give you rill. Now, you said
you will apologize to people, right, yeah, do you apologize.

Speaker 7 (40:55):
To your man? Because now listen, y'all ladies, y'all.

Speaker 3 (40:58):
Apologize to everybody. They but y'all would rather cut our
right hand and apologize to y'all may Yeah you did.

Speaker 1 (41:08):
Yeah, and you know and I'm not just saying that
just because you asked that question. No, man, you know
what a young the younger version of me would not,
and the younger version of me would argue you to
do you act the door? Matter of fact, you be
out the door and I would still.

Speaker 2 (41:28):
Be arguing with you. And then I'm not. If you
can't hear me, I'm gonna text you.

Speaker 3 (41:33):
So is that really.

Speaker 8 (41:35):
A woman thing?

Speaker 1 (41:36):
Y'all hate?

Speaker 3 (41:37):
Even if y'all know y'all wrong, y'all hate to apologize.

Speaker 1 (41:40):
Well, I don't know if I would call.

Speaker 2 (41:42):
It a woman things. It's just that see it.

Speaker 1 (41:45):
Let me put you up on game. It's just that
it's rare that we do anything wrong. Okay, so we
honestly it's foreign to us, and so we we we
really don't know how to to to cause you know,

(42:05):
we're we're we're we're ninety nine point nine nine nine
nine nine nine nine nine nine nine percent right all
the time.

Speaker 6 (42:16):
Okay, true, by their you'll be easy to.

Speaker 2 (42:26):
Thank you for God?

Speaker 1 (42:28):
All right, bye bye? Yeah, man, sometimes we wrong to alright,
he had to try to get it out of me.

Speaker 2 (42:33):
Yeah, but no, seriously, I men don't always apologize.

Speaker 1 (42:39):
What do y'all do? Y'all come in the house, y'all
don't apologize what this y'all do. Now, I'm gonna tell
you what to do on the way. I'm gonna tell
you what men do on the way, and y'all tell
me if I'm wrong. How do men apologize? Hmmm, I'm
gonna tell you coming up not on one five three
five nine three four two. Got a line open right

(43:00):
now eight hundred five zero three ninety three four two
eight three three five three five ninety three four two.
You can call me, or you can tap in on
that app.

Speaker 2 (43:07):
I see some app tappers right there.

Speaker 1 (43:08):
We'll go to that and talk to you all on
the way, and I will tell you her men apologize
all the way. Judge said, you look like you got
a bathing suit on. Girl?

Speaker 6 (43:18):
Where's you going?

Speaker 1 (43:18):
And she said, I ain't know. I had court? Now
you come up in the court. The court room is
in the court house, ain't it most places? I'm being
down here at Memphis. I remember a girlfriend of mine
moved to Memphis and she had to go to court
to well, she had to go.

Speaker 2 (43:37):
Yeah, I don't know what she went out there for.

Speaker 1 (43:39):
I ain't gonna. I didn't ask. I don't know. And
she said all she saw was catsuits, since she saw
catsuits everywhere.

Speaker 2 (43:47):
Hey, hey, I'm not making that up. She did she
dove it there but.

Speaker 1 (43:53):
A bathing suit, because if it wasn't a bathing suit,
it sure didn't look like one. And a bunnet.

Speaker 8 (44:01):
Where do you do that?

Speaker 1 (44:05):
And even my first time callers, y'all call on in here.
Tell me what you think about taxation without representation? Can
you complain even if you didn't vote. A lot of
y'all are tappen in about this National Guard? Are they coming?
I'm trying to tell me, my friend, we're talking about it?

(44:25):
He said, they ain't coming by themselves. They're not coming
by themselves. If they come, they will not be alone. Hmm. Well,
and do remember, I don't know if y'all remember Cash
Betel said this when he talked about Memphis and how
dangerous Memphis was a few months ago. He said, we coming,

(44:47):
Cash Betil, the man over the FBI, he said, we're coming,
We're coming. Well, he said November something like that, we
are coming. And it's which makes me wonder the whole
thing with the National Guard. Is it new? Is this
a new idea or was this planned months ago? And

(45:17):
they come and when they're gonna come or when they
want to come, because why would they tell us when
they're gonna come. Why would they tell anybody when they're
gonna come. You know, you saw the Supreme Court say
they can stay in California. You saw that, right, Yeah,
Supreme Court said, y'all, they they outen in California. Okay,
the Guard. Supreme courts say y'all stay, y'all can stay,

(45:41):
which means wherever they go next, they.

Speaker 2 (45:46):
Can stay.

Speaker 1 (45:49):
For longer than we think. But I'm with Syr. I
don't want it to be a band aid, but I'm
hearing a lot of this talk about AIM. I'll say
this real quick, and I'm gonna get back to the
phone because I see you guys on a whole. I'm
hearing a lot of talk about AI, and I'm hearing
talk that if AI has its way, and it's having

(46:13):
its way, I mean we have Grop, the AI that
Elon Musk has here in Memphis, the same aid he
had to shut down because Grok was woke in the
wrong way. You learned to.

Speaker 2 (46:28):
Shut it down, said shut up Grop anyway. Now Google
is about to do the same.

Speaker 1 (46:37):
Thing across the water on the Arkansas side AI. I'm
hearing a lot of talk about AI, and I'm curious.
I'm curious who was it?

Speaker 2 (46:53):
Was it Bill Gates predicting.

Speaker 1 (46:55):
That in ten years or so, we won't need doctors
as many doctors. We won't we won't need too much
of nobody because AI is gonna be doing it at all. Well,
they won't be. There will be some jobs hopefully. That
concerns me. You know another thing that concerns me, and

(47:18):
this is it. I'm gonna get off of my high
horse with this last thing. Why is he talking? Who
elected you? Anything that you can just run around here
and talk about the demise of people on this planet.
I thought you was giving your money away?

Speaker 2 (47:37):
And why are we listening to him?

Speaker 1 (47:42):
Anyway? AI is not coming. AI is here because that
the whole Google situation. See, people probably thought it was
Google was bringing jobs and all that, and there probably
will be some jobs.

Speaker 2 (47:54):
But Google is getting ready.

Speaker 1 (47:56):
To on the other side of the water do the
same thing Elon is doing on this side without They're
saying they're gonna be able to do it without the turbines.
Whether if it ain't turbines, what's it gonna be? You
know what I'm saying. I mean, wake up, We're right

(48:19):
in the midst of a revolution. Will it be televised?
Probably because AI is at It's gonna be everywhere. But
I will tell you how men apologize. This is how
they apologize. Men apologize like this, Maybe you want some chicken.

(48:39):
I just bought some chicken at the store. You want
some of this chicken? It's real good, baby, won't take
a walk.

Speaker 5 (48:56):
About it.

Speaker 1 (48:56):
Meanwhile, women are like, I'm sorry I said this the
wrong way that. Men are like, baby, you wanna your
hair looked nice today? Maybe you wanna Maybe you want
a new outfit, you want an out that you've been
looking at. You wanna go get it? Okay, all right, okay,

(49:24):
I'm sorry, not really, but I'm sorry. Let me go
to the phones. I cracked myself up sometimes. Sorry, I'm
I'm dabbing a mee moment. Let me get to y'all.

Speaker 3 (49:36):
W D I A hello, Hello, Hello, Hello, it's nice
to here you Stormy.

Speaker 7 (49:46):
This is Luis Stormy. I said, hello Stormy. Well, hello Stormy,
it's nice to.

Speaker 3 (49:56):
Help you back too.

Speaker 5 (49:58):
Well.

Speaker 3 (49:58):
You bel didn't swell story very much. I didn't tell
some of you the best in the world. Oh, by
the way, thank you very much.

Speaker 1 (50:09):
How good are you doing? I am doing just fine.

Speaker 3 (50:15):
That was my repsentation of Louis Armstrong. Imp okay, absolutely well.
First of all, let me jump in and say, with
the young man that was walking the street with six hundred.

Speaker 1 (50:31):
My question is.

Speaker 3 (50:34):
Where did he get the six hundred dollars? Is whether
he working for it or he did he got it
some other way? That's my question. And why would you
be out that time of night with six hundred in
your pocket. Now let's coop on over to Donald Trump.
Everybody is talking about they said, they want the National Guard.

Speaker 7 (50:54):
To come here. But my personal opinion is.

Speaker 2 (50:57):
It's all just a rug.

Speaker 3 (50:59):
Every Well, Donald Trump went with the national Guard, He
was not welcomed. He did not meet with everybody to
set up something that was real to help that particular
city that he's invade. And people understand one thing, how
can you figure that someone is a thirty four time criminal,

(51:23):
convicted mind you will do anything for you and this country.
He don't care about this country, don't care about people,
and he's going to get in trouble one way or
the other and you soon.

Speaker 2 (51:35):
Will be gone.

Speaker 7 (51:36):
And my last name to.

Speaker 3 (51:38):
Say to you storm is when he blew those people
up on the boat with our concrete proof of who
they are. Now, I guess what he said, but we
don't know.

Speaker 1 (51:49):
That for sure.

Speaker 3 (51:50):
See everybody listen to what Donald Trump says, and he
lies over them over again, and he was should not
be allowed to blow up people their international waters.

Speaker 8 (52:02):
B he people.

Speaker 1 (52:04):
The tribunal is gonna end up putting him on the
I mean in court for that, and he probably might
end up doing some time. And people understand something.

Speaker 3 (52:15):
The whole administration of Donald Trump is a cast of idiots.
And remember nothing good will come out of Donald Trump.
He has wrecked this country and he continues the record
and he don't care about none of y'all. And this
the place to be is with Stanity. He experience ten seventy.

Speaker 2 (52:38):
W B I A thank you very much show. Okay here,
ms Curtis.

Speaker 1 (52:43):
Says, if he was such a good politician talking about
Steve Cohen, if he was such a good politician for
the city of Memphis, why is the state highway and so?
Why is it so? Are you trying to say messed

(53:04):
up in Memphis when the state has money for from
the federal government to fix the state highways and they're
being repaired everywhere except for Memphis, and nobody seems to care.

Speaker 2 (53:17):
That Memphis is not.

Speaker 1 (53:18):
Getting their part of the share of that money to
fix their roads. Help me understand this, Memphis. These roads
are jacked up around here.

Speaker 2 (53:29):
What is these roads so bad? You got a lot of.

Speaker 1 (53:35):
Creatives of the content creators on social media hitting bumps
telling you how that thing of change a radio station.
These roads is bad. They're real bad around here. Somebody
tapped the at let's go there, hey Stormer.

Speaker 5 (53:48):
That young lady that went to the courthouse have naked
in the burden soon. That wasn't affluent Mississippi, no part
of Mississippi.

Speaker 2 (53:56):
I'm knowing it ain't in Mississippi.

Speaker 1 (53:57):
There was Ohio, Have you heard about that stabbing that
killed a young man in horn Lake, Mississippi Walmart? Yes, okay,
this is move bye bye, all right, Well, yes, I
did that situation. I heard Stan mentioned it this morning,
the stabbing, and the I saw the news report and

(54:18):
I was going to tell you guys about it. But
it looks like the man that was stabbed to death
at that walmart and Horne Lake, Mississippi, after a fight
with an employee on Sunday night, the person who stabbed
him is not gonna no charges.

Speaker 2 (54:34):
So word is.

Speaker 1 (54:37):
That the old police were called a forty one to
fifty Goodman Road regarding the complaint of somebody being cut
inside the store. According to what I read, okay, and
this is WR E. G's report. When they arrived, they
saw the twenty seven year old man was found suffering
from a cut to his stomach on one of the
main aisles inside of the business. He was taken to
Baptist Desco Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Police

(55:01):
have identified him as Ladarius Clayton. During the investigation, officers
they looked at surveillance video and they showed Clayton entering
the Walmart, walking directly down one of the main aisles
until he saw a certain employee at Walmart and immediately
started a physical altercation with him.

Speaker 2 (55:22):
That employee.

Speaker 1 (55:25):
Stabbed in the stomach and he fell. It's still an
ongoing investigation, by the way, but from what I've seen
from other reports is that the man who who stabedom
is not facing any charges. So I'm thinking they're saying
it was self defense because the man that was killed
came in the store and started to fight with him.

(55:48):
Who let me go back to the phone. See what
ch I's talking about? Wdi A Hello, what's going on now?
I can't call it Clyde, what's going on?

Speaker 3 (55:58):
You know that young man who wrote who will did
the letter?

Speaker 7 (56:00):
Come talking about?

Speaker 1 (56:01):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (56:02):
What's wrong with the highways?

Speaker 7 (56:04):
Uh? Steve Corning and know what's going on?

Speaker 3 (56:06):
Until your city leaders.

Speaker 1 (56:08):
Let him know and he will.

Speaker 3 (56:10):
Take care of it.

Speaker 13 (56:12):
And all them people jack.

Speaker 3 (56:13):
To name and now came now one of them beat
see coin.

Speaker 13 (56:18):
Steve con it O taking Stormy. He just liked the
Ford boys he ain't gonna be unseated until.

Speaker 1 (56:24):
He gets ready to be and.

Speaker 13 (56:26):
He gonna do like doctor Harrit he got to step
down and there's somebody that take the place because the
people love him.

Speaker 2 (56:34):
You love him, I can tell you love him.

Speaker 13 (56:35):
Say I like Stee Coin, I like to Dee Colling
and and nobody gonna and I don't see nobody touched me.

Speaker 1 (56:45):
That's gonna.

Speaker 13 (56:45):
They need to bring the National Guards him.

Speaker 7 (56:47):
And one thing I want to tell Big Cohone.

Speaker 3 (56:51):
The coming man ain't bad. Stop Margaret's booning.

Speaker 1 (56:57):
He ain't mess with such security yet.

Speaker 13 (56:59):
He even with health care yet. So I'm still waiting
for all these conspiracies with because you know what's storming
ever with Joe Biden trying to do anything and one
the city they're they're loving just because it's Donald Trump.

Speaker 3 (57:17):
That's why I don't want to here.

Speaker 1 (57:19):
I don't know.

Speaker 13 (57:19):
They don't want nothing from Donald Trump. And if I
was Donald Trump, I wouldn't.

Speaker 3 (57:24):
Send them here. I lost that little women do they
want to do something you take care of all?

Speaker 1 (57:29):
Right, Clyde, mm well, I guess it's good. Maybe I
don't know. Clyde ain't running, So I say I don't
know what you're trying to say, Clyde. You wouldn't help us,
is that what you're saying? Well, what is what are
you saying? Man?

Speaker 2 (57:48):
W D I A Hello, Ellen, Uh oh.

Speaker 3 (57:54):
Mm hmmm, uh all right, that was a boss.

Speaker 1 (58:12):
I'll write it down, man, call me back. I'm so sorry.

Speaker 2 (58:21):
W D I A hello, Hello.

Speaker 1 (58:26):
Colleen. There, oh oh come here, I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
Let me let me get myself together.

Speaker 3 (58:43):
W D I A hello, Hey, Hey, Bes, Stormy, good afternoon.

Speaker 1 (58:49):
Good afternoon, William. Oh my goodness, I bless your heart.
You are not on that chipmunk line.

Speaker 3 (58:55):
Yeah, that was something I said. Oh we got problem again.
But you have said the word revolution. That's we received
something brought you know, uh smoking right now and you
head in the past, you've said the word. You know,
we're going to be a baby Silicon Valley. That's what

(59:18):
the word is.

Speaker 1 (59:19):
The word is out. The word is out.

Speaker 3 (59:20):
That's what myths and surrounding areas is going to become.

Speaker 4 (59:24):
Then they are working on the high speed rail from
Memphis to Nashville to Chin down to Atlanta, and all
they're doing is buying acquisition of land for the corridor
to do it.

Speaker 3 (59:37):
That's all they're doing right now. That's all they that's
what they're working on right now. Missus Tennessee sixty black.
Got to do something about that. Then we have well
how are they staying? You know, uh so fresh? You
know these nice cars? Oh yeah, that's that wrap industry.
You know, that's the dark money on the table money here.
Oh okay, something needs to be done about that. Here

(01:00:00):
comes to fades are going to unravel it all and
take control. Then you don't have the money to live
in with It's just like you don't have the money
to live in Nashville. You gotta go where they don't
care where you go. You just got to go, you know,
Mississippi to you know, Poort Stadium, go down there. Uh
that's what's happening right in front of our face. Now

(01:00:21):
we can push back because we got the numbers. But
if we're afleep, just you know, just static calves, then
were ready for the slaughter. Thank you so may I
love you.

Speaker 1 (01:00:32):
I love you back, William, thank you so much for
calling in and I appreciate you doing that. WD I
A hello, Hello, I get chick. Yeah, you back on it.
I hate to tell you I'm not gonna do that
to you today. But Michael, call me. I don't know
what number you're calling, but maybe try another number, because

(01:00:54):
you know we got three nine oh one, five three
five ninety three four two, eight hundred and five zero
three nine three four two eight three we find three
five nine three four two. Maybe call on a number
that you didn't call this time. Okay, w d I
a low.

Speaker 8 (01:01:08):
What's going on?

Speaker 3 (01:01:09):
Starting?

Speaker 1 (01:01:10):
Hey? Brother?

Speaker 2 (01:01:11):
But no, what's happening?

Speaker 3 (01:01:14):
You know, it's all well, good good?

Speaker 8 (01:01:18):
Yeah, I heard you coming on uh on the National
guards and so on, you know, and the FBI saying
if they they're coming.

Speaker 1 (01:01:28):
Yeah. Cash Betel told us that a long time ago.
He said he was coming the school.

Speaker 8 (01:01:36):
He may be coming to some of these politicians also
because they they are the ones to uh investigate those
those crimes of political office oftentimes, because you know, we've
seen we've seen very unable to govern our sales. And

(01:01:59):
I mean, you know, the school board is a prime example,
the foods and the bid and I believe that you know,
the local the local officials that are having business. You know,
there is a lot of personal friendships and the contracts
that are going on and so on and you know,

(01:02:20):
the Xai deal and what have you, and so I mean,
it's just, you know, it appears to be some some
corruption going on.

Speaker 3 (01:02:30):
And this is the thing.

Speaker 8 (01:02:32):
I am not sure.

Speaker 1 (01:02:33):
Who is responsible for the fiscal services or or who.

Speaker 8 (01:02:40):
The financial officers are for selecting bids on contracts and
so on. But when I was in the state government,
I complete with uh a precurement certification, which means that
when it comes to these for this year duties purchasing
and bidding on contracts and so on. You know, that's
that's a that's a serious matter and it would it

(01:03:03):
would definitely be highlighted if it were to be found
out that they've been branding contracts UH to say, you know,
friends and so on. So I think what's going on
in the city is sort of a reflection of the
of the local the leadership that's that's going on. That
it's a disconnect, and I'm surprised that Governor Lee has

(01:03:26):
not stepped.

Speaker 3 (01:03:27):
In uh more than what he has.

Speaker 8 (01:03:30):
But I guarantee you if h Marshall Blackburn gets in,
she's gonna she's gonna uh, she's gonna.

Speaker 3 (01:03:36):
Set up shop and message.

Speaker 1 (01:03:38):
She she gonna be she she already talking about it, brother, But.

Speaker 8 (01:03:44):
Yeah, I mean, you know, she needs she needs to
get in because what's happening. I mean, our own people
that share the same color as us.

Speaker 1 (01:03:53):
Uh.

Speaker 8 (01:03:54):
I mean you know, you know, they're just uh committing
these corrupt eggs.

Speaker 9 (01:04:00):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (01:04:00):
And they supervise a city with their own people in it,
so their own if they're in the position, and their
own people. And I'm not putting it.

Speaker 8 (01:04:08):
Solely on uh, these political leaders.

Speaker 7 (01:04:11):
But there is a lot.

Speaker 1 (01:04:13):
That's at the hand of certain offices.

Speaker 8 (01:04:16):
Which you can do, from the district attorney, from the
district attorney to the mayor's office, uh, to these these
state centers and Steve Coin as well, and so it's.

Speaker 1 (01:04:28):
You know, we we need a revamp of what's what's
going on. But Stormy, I appreciate you for taking McCallum.
I appreciate you, man. I appreciate you making that call.
I'm with your brother, Bernard, I'm with you. I agree,
and I hate to say it, but I do. Listen,
we're gonna come back and talk to y'all.

Speaker 2 (01:04:47):
Fellas.

Speaker 1 (01:04:47):
Listen, let me let me give you some advice while
we're gone, to break take this opportunity to apologize the
right way to your woman. Okay, I'm next with y'all. Gegain,
I'm sorry. We're gonna come back, y'all. Are tap it

hundred five zero three nine three four two eight three
three five three five nine three four two. Will be
back in a moment. What's up, Frankie, y'all? I rode
my bike? Can you believe it?

Speaker 2 (01:05:45):
Yeah? I rode my bike.

Speaker 1 (01:05:47):
I hadn't really been riding it after I had that accident.
I had an accident on my bike and had a
gash on the side of my face. I remember my
cousin to the hospital and I said, how do I look?
He said, oh, it looks it looks bad. I never
looked at it. They had. They gave me something that

(01:06:09):
had me a little, a little high. Didn't feel a thing.
I felt, felt real good, but my face obviously didn't
look good because I had a gash right beside my face.

Speaker 2 (01:06:21):
I fell.

Speaker 1 (01:06:22):
Somebody ran me off the road. Yeah. I don't think
they did it intentionally, you know, but it happened. And
so I got back on that bike today. I feel
good about it. And that's a message. Let that be
a message to a lot of you. You've fallen, but
you can get up. Y'all. Remember that commercial back in

(01:06:43):
the day that lady, old lady said I've fallen. She
called them folks, She said, I've fallen and I can't
get up, and you have fallen. Get on back up again, Donni.
M clerk doesn't tell you we fall down, We get up.
Get on back up, Get up, get back on that bicycle.
It just reminded me of somebody. How you doing, mister

(01:07:05):
Henry Lee miss Wood. Would you tell mister Henriley? I
said hello.

Speaker 6 (01:07:11):
He said something.

Speaker 2 (01:07:11):
About riding the bike. What anyway?

Speaker 1 (01:07:16):
Anyway, missus Sweeney, he says, y'all can't accept accountability, ladies,
Yes we can.

Speaker 2 (01:07:23):
We do it all the time.

Speaker 1 (01:07:25):
Hello, Miss Dunagan said National Guard coming. She emailed, Hey,
Stormy tea grape show. An interesting discussion I heard this morning.
When the National Guard comes to any city, it's costing
a million dollars a day.

Speaker 2 (01:07:39):
Is that what you're trying to tell me? A million
dollars a day? My question, who pays for that?

Speaker 1 (01:07:44):
I think the citizen of the city will be paying
if they come. I bet you they aren't going to
be in the inner city. They will be in every
city downtown area. And the officers that normally have the
beat downtown, they are coming back to inner city and
they are going to be angry and arrest anybody cause

(01:08:05):
they aren't working that jelly beat down beat downtown.

Speaker 2 (01:08:10):
That's my comment.

Speaker 1 (01:08:12):
Have a nice evening, store, Miss Stormy t respectfully, mishot Town.
I got you, Hm. You all are tapping in on
this app too. Let's go to the app and then
we'll get to the phones.

Speaker 8 (01:08:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 15 (01:08:23):
Good evening, Stormy, good evening. You know, I very rarely
agree with Clyde.

Speaker 1 (01:08:29):
Mm.

Speaker 15 (01:08:29):
But this time when it comes to a Senator Steve
Compsman or Senator whichever one year Steve Cohen.

Speaker 2 (01:08:35):
I ride with Clyde all the way.

Speaker 15 (01:08:38):
If we want again for another four years, we gonna
vote for him. His constituents love him because he produces.
He brings in the money. Now what they do it
is another story.

Speaker 2 (01:08:48):
Back all right, miss Anne?

Speaker 14 (01:08:49):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:08:50):
She said, mm okay.

Speaker 11 (01:08:52):
Hey, Stormy tea oay.

Speaker 10 (01:08:56):
Birthday, Happy birthday, Brittany be.

Speaker 1 (01:09:01):
My ghost season an the same.

Speaker 9 (01:09:03):
Hey when I just want to say, had birthday to
all the virgo it had birthday? What to Brittany b
a a heaven birthday? Something agg came up on my
phone and heavy birthday to everybody?

Speaker 1 (01:09:18):
Birthday today? Yeah, it's Gal Jones Carson's birthday. Me and
stand in bed were celebrating with her last night at
what used to be hard Rock Cafe. I understand it's
a rock and soil museum. Upstairs and uh downstairs is
where the party was. We had a good time, sure did.
All the dignitaries were there. It was a virtual who's

(01:09:38):
who of beautiful people and bad to the bone outfits.
I saw two women in there. I forgot what their
names are, but there was. I don't know who these
ladies are. Maybe Gil will text me or somebody will
text me and tell me who that one of them
had an orange pansuit and she I don't know how
old she is, but I'm gonna tell you, y'all, that

(01:10:01):
was one of the most beautiful women I have ever
seen in my life at her age, and her health
was plopping gorgeous.

Speaker 6 (01:10:12):
And her sister.

Speaker 1 (01:10:15):
Gotta be two of the flies women in Memphis gotta
be up besides Gail Jon. Gail's one of them, one
of the flies women in Memphis. Them sisters, and they
were sisters cold blooded and Gail's sister, Oh my goodness,
those are some beautiful Well, you know, people Gail goes,

(01:10:36):
travels across the country in different places, and people think
she's Tina Knowles. Have y'all seen a lady She looks
more like Tina Knowles than she did when I saw
a couple of weeks ago, Gail, what did you doing? Well? Actually, actually,
Tina Knowles looks like Gail because I think Tina is
younger than Gail's than Gail is.

Speaker 2 (01:10:56):
Yeah, y'all seen Gail John Carson. Just look at her,
real good?

Speaker 1 (01:11:00):
What you look like?

Speaker 2 (01:11:01):
Ena nose.

Speaker 1 (01:11:03):
Let's go back to this app real quick and see
what you're saying here. Hey, miss Summer, how are you
doing this afternoon, this evening?

Speaker 8 (01:11:10):
This Antonio, I may not be calling, but our most
differently Listen, I keep you locked up to him like
every day.

Speaker 1 (01:11:17):
You have a great and pleasant evening. See you later,
all right, Antonio, looking forward to seeing you at our
seventy seventh w g I A anniversary celebration concert featuring
the Manhattans.

Speaker 6 (01:11:29):
All right, let me get.

Speaker 1 (01:11:30):
Back to these phones and couldn't run in my mouth?
What am I doing? Act like this my show? Anyway?
Let's go back to the phones. Coming man, you're doing
all right?

Speaker 2 (01:11:38):
You're all right?

Speaker 1 (01:11:39):
Coming in?

Speaker 4 (01:11:41):
I do I do it?

Speaker 1 (01:11:44):
How do you sound good? Okay, you're trying to fake it.
I know it. I know it.

Speaker 3 (01:11:53):
Hey you blood? You know maybe I tried to get
it at the time.

Speaker 7 (01:11:58):
How you doing.

Speaker 2 (01:11:59):
I'm good? Good, I'm good. How you doing?

Speaker 3 (01:12:01):
Okay, I'm doing time good? Yeah. I think the seat
belong to Steve Corney.

Speaker 8 (01:12:06):
Nobody's gonna be able to remove him, you think so?

Speaker 1 (01:12:13):
I think somebody could get him out of that seat.
I mean, they're gonna be hard pressed to do it.
They're gonna be hard pressed.

Speaker 3 (01:12:19):
They could do it, uh right, right, okay, look who
As far as addressing the causes of crime, of course,
you know, the National God is not for that. You know,
the National Guy is not to teach our children anything.

Speaker 1 (01:12:37):
We know that.

Speaker 3 (01:12:39):
So addressing the groups of crime we were talking about,
like I talked to doctor Harpe last week, we're talking about,
you know, a lack of parenting, a like a lack
of education. You know, education is one of the main
keys to success away from poverty, some things that don't
lead you to crime, you know, So those things the

(01:13:01):
first place we look at is at home. It's very
important to teach your children how important it is to
get educated. Get you an education so that you might
have a better chance and a better shot at the
decent life.

Speaker 2 (01:13:12):
You better teach them kids, you know.

Speaker 3 (01:13:16):
So you know, when we talk about the National Guard
and we just well just be real about it, a
lot of people object to the National God come here,
but instead asked the question, I think it was last Thursday,
what do you all recommend? I know that it'll be temporary,
but i'd rather have a temporary relief than the relief
at all, you know, So what do you all recommend?

(01:13:37):
That's just a question. I don't hear no answers. Another
thing came up was they would be here, you know, intimidating,
you know, looking at you, something storming. What would be
more intimidating to you? See in the National Guard walk around?
Do they do maybe taints rolling down the street, or
the little homies pull up the side of the red

(01:13:57):
light with their chopper hanging out in the window, ar
fifteen hanging out the window, you know, or when they
walk up to you with the mask on their face
and say give me your keys. Or maybe when you're
just simply riding home and thinking to yourself or hoping
to yourself, hope doing nobody to get the shooting at me?
Hope doing nobody pass by me? I hope I don't
get hit by a flying bullet. What's more intimidating to you?

Speaker 1 (01:14:19):
You see? So some stuff just don't make sense to me,
And I'm not clad.

Speaker 3 (01:14:23):
If people don't want to help, hey refuse it, you know,
but don't cry about the crime. If you don't want
any help, I got you. That's you know, that's where
I feel about it. But if you will, if you
will answer that, what's more intimidating to you?

Speaker 1 (01:14:36):
M I think you know the ladder all right?

Speaker 7 (01:14:41):
Alright?

Speaker 1 (01:14:41):
Storing them kids with the AO whatever coming and hanging
out the window. Put that thing up. You ain't got
no business with it, no way.

Speaker 2 (01:14:48):
W d I a hello?

Speaker 7 (01:14:50):
Say you're talking about you doing?

Speaker 2 (01:14:51):
I'm good, it's rob How you doing?

Speaker 7 (01:14:53):
That's my guy?

Speaker 11 (01:14:54):
Common man, common man, common sense man.

Speaker 14 (01:14:57):
That's a smart gut to be.

Speaker 3 (01:14:58):
That's the main gas need it.

Speaker 14 (01:15:01):
Very knowledgeable, speaks for a lot of common sense. But
what I called about was long as about I mean.

Speaker 7 (01:15:08):
Storming, it's about that National Guard.

Speaker 14 (01:15:09):
I don't think it's gonna make that much difference, but
you still need to try anything you can do to
stop you to help. I don't think it's gonna make it.
Because a crime is committed, and that's what somebody is called.
I mean, you're not gonna be on the crame scene.
Well what's happening anyway? Somebody came down there and shot
up every day? Now who I was? Where they gonna do?
Notify the police that they were coming. I mean, actually,

(01:15:32):
like I said, you don't have a solution for it.
I think it would help a look, excuse me, excuse
me a little bit. It's not gonna make that much difference, man.
I mean you look at this weekend with this crame
that happened.

Speaker 1 (01:15:46):
This was ridiculous, too much, too much.

Speaker 14 (01:15:49):
That's when I said, quit telling that lie about Cram
is down. Many every time I think about it, when
they say Cram down, it gets worse and worse. But
Cram is down. And that's for Lee Harris. I think
that was it was agenda from the start. But he's
not a proven marriage yet because I don't see nothing
he's done. His maith to be talking about Congressman, and
I don't. I'm like Clyde and common Man and Alresty.

(01:16:09):
I don't think you gonna unset him. He's sort of
like the Forge. I mean, he does a good job.
He does a great job in my opinion. Like I said,
everything I say is my opinion.

Speaker 11 (01:16:20):
So I just don't think.

Speaker 14 (01:16:22):
I don't see nobody good, especially Ares. I don't see
I look at him just like Malroy just saw in
a position. But that was his agenda when he got there.
You want to move up with anything that you do.
But dude hood is what you're doing first, and you
got a long way to go to the aras. I
thank you biting on the more than you can chew. Now,

(01:16:44):
all right, mister up, he didn't get my vote, so
anyway he won't get it again. Thanks thar me.

Speaker 1 (01:16:49):
All right, thank you so much for calling in appreciate
that time is running out. I hate to ask you this,
but if you could shorten your comment for me because
I got to get to that classic TV throwback in
about six minutes.

Speaker 2 (01:17:02):
W d I a hello.

Speaker 3 (01:17:05):
Or girl?

Speaker 10 (01:17:06):
I top fast en. Never let me get this end.

Speaker 5 (01:17:09):
You.

Speaker 2 (01:17:09):
I ain't worried about you.

Speaker 3 (01:17:11):
Missus Steve Cohen. I guess all we need now is
a kitchy tune.

Speaker 10 (01:17:15):
Keep going with Cohen, keep going.

Speaker 14 (01:17:18):
You know.

Speaker 10 (01:17:19):
I love me to miss Anne, but it's prompt me
to call when she called, because miss Anne, No, we
need enough other than he brings in the money.

Speaker 7 (01:17:25):
Mooe.

Speaker 10 (01:17:26):
I don't know where that No, that's the important part.
Where is the money going? I think Steve Coin is
just too comfortable in his seat.

Speaker 1 (01:17:34):
I don't see what he's doing if he's bringing in him.

Speaker 10 (01:17:36):
Like I mean, I called him out Carl Stand Show
like the rest of them and tell us exactly what
you're doing. I want to keep him in there. If
he said, great, call the stand show. Let us know
what you be able to tell us. This is what
I brought in, this is what's happening, this is what
I've done. He felt like he don't all the people
nothing no more. When you get too big in your
seat where you can't talk to the people no more,

(01:17:57):
it's time to go. I'm definitely with Justin Tison and
he run. He would definitely have my vote, and if
I came vote for him, I would tell my family
to vote for him. Come man, it was a reason
why you came on it line three or four time
because you weren't talking about nothing today.

Speaker 14 (01:18:13):
Brother.

Speaker 10 (01:18:13):
Okay, I still love you though. Okay, but let me
tell you this right here. Listen, we want to know
what adult, what should we do about studying having a
military to come here? Listen. I wish Gorilla three six Mafia,
all the stars who came from Missus to come back
and just have one group for them and tell us
what did they do, how did they make it out?

(01:18:35):
What who helped them in Missus?

Speaker 1 (01:18:37):
How would they get to be?

Speaker 14 (01:18:38):
You know?

Speaker 10 (01:18:38):
The stars that they add because I'm telling you nisus
do have talent, but we keep saying that we need
the team to do better.

Speaker 9 (01:18:46):
I mean, I'm sorry to them.

Speaker 10 (01:18:47):
I'm keep saying it's a thousand things you're doing, Memphis.

Speaker 3 (01:18:49):
What what is that really to do for teams?

Speaker 10 (01:18:51):
Well, I mean, what if there really to do? If
their performing aren't centered, if there's something you know, keeping
these kids did. I just want to know what is
there rooining for kids to do? Jack say, I agree
with you a thousand times a day about what you're saying.
I don't care if I'm walking down the street but
neked with a thousand dollars hanging off me the criminal.

Speaker 11 (01:19:08):
It's the wrong.

Speaker 10 (01:19:09):
We cannot make a stupid for criminal. Now, I do
agree that you don't want to entice the criminal. If
you know you walking down a street and another macriminal
down there, don't get me wrong, you will be a
dam food to walk down the street but naked with
a thousand dollars cash on you. But at the same time,
we do have the fault the criminals for the crime
and not the victim. Thank y'all so much for letting
me in st me talk to you tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (01:19:29):
All right, Thank you Maryanth for making that call. Appreciate that. Uh.
There are a lot of things for kids to do,
but it's up to I think a lot of parents
to make sure those kids do it. Because I mean,
you got you got, you got young actors, Gil, you
got l Ye, you got a girl tery Noir has
a dance group. You've got organizations all over the place.

(01:19:52):
But it's up to parents to seek out these organizations
to get these kids in there. Uh. On Sundays, I
interview people all the time on this radio station talking
about what they got going on this.

Speaker 2 (01:20:02):
There's a lot to do for kids.

Speaker 1 (01:20:04):
They don't have to.

Speaker 2 (01:20:05):
Be in these streets.

Speaker 1 (01:20:07):
Some of them in there because they want to be
because they ain't got no parental supervision. W D I
A hello, where sky on your face?

Speaker 8 (01:20:17):
It was?

Speaker 2 (01:20:17):
It was beside my eye. It is gone now.

Speaker 3 (01:20:19):
I mean, it's like it never happened body your eye.

Speaker 2 (01:20:24):
Thank the Lord.

Speaker 1 (01:20:25):
It didn't hit my eye.

Speaker 2 (01:20:26):
It was my eye.

Speaker 3 (01:20:27):
Yeah. But when you were talking, I was saying, oh
my god, I don't storm.

Speaker 1 (01:20:31):
It don't look like the Joker.

Speaker 10 (01:20:38):
Oh my god.

Speaker 6 (01:20:39):
Oh my.

Speaker 2 (01:20:42):
No, I know, yeah, it was.

Speaker 6 (01:20:45):
It was.

Speaker 1 (01:20:45):
It was bad.

Speaker 2 (01:20:46):
I have to get some stitches.

Speaker 1 (01:20:48):
It was maybe bad, then.

Speaker 13 (01:20:51):
Go over here.

Speaker 3 (01:20:53):
And second of all, don't people realize we are surrounding.

Speaker 13 (01:20:56):
I mean, we got the eighty second over there in
North Carolina. We got the screaming ags.

Speaker 3 (01:21:00):
Of one hundred first, which I.

Speaker 1 (01:21:01):
Was part of over there in the borderline. A Tendessee
and kentucted bring their military police in this city.

Speaker 5 (01:21:09):
The straight things up.

Speaker 1 (01:21:11):
You don't need no national Guard.

Speaker 13 (01:21:13):
Bring the military police.

Speaker 10 (01:21:15):
They know the laws, they.

Speaker 1 (01:21:16):
Know the situation dealing with unrest and city. That's how
we solved our bar. And I'm out here all right,
thank you. I appreciate you making that short too. W

the McDonald's at uh at the equal Hill of Winchester, Uh,

spending all around her naked and licking her tongue out.

Speaker 2 (01:22:20):

Speaker 1 (01:22:20):
Nurse Beverly came to my party a week or so
ago when I had my party birthday party. Nurse Beverly
