Speaker 1 (00:00):
Uh, let's see, today is National make your Bed Day.
I'm telling somebody that's specifically make your bed. Don't you
feel better when you get up in the morning and
you make your bed? Do you?

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Don't you?

Speaker 1 (00:18):
I do I make When I make my bed, I
feel like I can conquer anything that the world brings
my way. That's how good it makes me. Every day
I gotta make that. I can't do it. I can't
do it. I honestly don't like for my room to
be messy. I don't like nothing to be I don't
like to go to bed and with messy stuff. I

(00:40):
don't like to have no dirty clothes now down, none
of it. I like to clean up before I go
to bed.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
I like to.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
Yeah, man, I don't like it. I don't like it.
And I wasn't this neat when I was a kid.
Mm hmmm. It wasn't. But the older I got and
I'm just like, I don't like it. I don't like it.
I just I don't. So what am I doing when
I have company picking up? I pick up around in

(01:12):
my you know, a pillow hits the floor from the
couch or something, I pick it up, you know, Unless
I'm extremely tired. Then I'm like, oh whatever, yeah, man,
And it may be the virgo in me, you know
that likes to have things a certain way. We are
very sometimes. I'm not gonna say that word, but yeah,

(01:37):
maybe it's the virgo in me. I don't know, I
don't know. It's also National No News is Good News day.
No News is good News. That's terrible. I don't like
that National Hot Cross Bonds Day. You can keep it.
But I don't know if you guys know this that
it is the National Day of Service and Remembering y

(02:00):
also known as nine eleven Day. Yeah, September eleventh, Today,
a lot of us remember where we were on today.
We remember what happened on today. You know what I'm saying.
The National Day of Remembrance is the culmination of efforts

(02:23):
originally launched by or in two thousand and two by
the nine to eleven nonprofit My Good Deed, with wide
support by the nine to eleven community and leading national
service organizations. It's the international nonprofit movement to observe nine
eleven every year as a day of charitable service. As

(02:46):
the Americans what they will do this nine to eleven
to honor those lost on that tragic day. Yeah, I
remember the day. A lot of y'all remember the day. Yeah,
I remember. I remember. This is the one thing I
do remember for I remember a lot of things about
nine eleven when it happened, but I do remember watching

(03:06):
the news and watching President what was his name, the
president at the time, Bush Young Bush, sitting there reading
to them kids. Yeah, like a deer in headlights when
he found out what happened in the You know, there

(03:27):
are still a lot of conspiracy theories as it relates
to that situation, And there are a lot of conspiracy
theories as it relates to the biggest topic in America today,
Charlie Kirk.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
M h.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
Everybody's talking about. Everybody's got something to say. And you
know what, I ain't gonna lie to you. I did
not know and I still don't know a lot about
Charlie Kirk. I have seen a lot of the clips
and things that he has said. I've seen him, you know,

(04:07):
talk to the kids about certain things at these schools,
but I have not had an opportunity to really just
dig into what he was about, and I probably won't.
I'm probably not gonna do it, and I might. I mean,
I don't know. It depends on what time I get.

(04:28):
If I get a little time, I might do it,
but it's not top of mind for me. I will
say that I do know people that are sadden today
because of the loss of that young man. And I'm
not talking about the president. I'm talking about people personally
that are saden today. And I know people that are rejoicing.

(04:55):
And I don't get it. The rejoicing part, I don't.
I don't get it. And and I say that because I
was angry at people who were rejoicing or seemingly rejoicing
when George Floyd died. I ain't see nothing to rejoice about.

(05:17):
And maybe it's just me. Maybe y'all think something's wrong
with me, but I don't see nothing wrong. I don't
see anything. I don't I don't see it. I don't
get it. I don't get what happened with TMZ. TMZ
is under fire right now. They had to come out
last night and apologize because when they were streaming uh
the situation UH and and and streaming the fact that

(05:40):
he had died, there were people in their newsroom laughing
and and and cheering. They came on and said that
that was we didn't hear. You know, people that were
watching the stream didn't hear what they thought they heard
that that wasn't what was going on. I'm sad today
because I just never saw us being like we are today,

(06:10):
rejoicing over the death of somebody who's never done anything
to me. And I never saw him do anything. He
debated a lot of black kids, but I never saw
him do anything to those kids. He just debated them.
You know, he debated everybody, and that's why he went
to those schools. He was debating people. Now, I don't
agree with a lot of the stuff that he said
at all. My infinite rejoice over his death. It's it

(06:39):
makes me sad that this country. I was watching something
last night and I'm gonna let you hear this. This
is this is TMZ trying to explain what happened last night.

Speaker 5 (06:51):
We were live streaming all day during this this tragedy,
when something happened in our office. Uh as we were
reporting the assassination of Charlie Kirk, there were some people
in the back room away from news desk here who
were watching a car chase and they were laughing, they

(07:16):
were clapping, and you could hear it out here, and
we want to make a couple of things clear. One
is that I know these people and they were not laughing.
They were not reacting that way about Charlie Kirk's assassination.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
Okay, that's what they're saying. A lot of people are
saying cap. They're calling it cap. Let me let me
tell you what I think. And I wasn't sure I
was going to have this conversation with you all today
because I do want to talk about some other things,
but I want to I want to share with you
what I think. I think we're treading in dangerous places.
We're in America. We're at a tipping point, and it's

(08:01):
not a good tipping point. I don't know. Maybe there's
no tipping point that is good, but we're in a
dangerous place. I Speed Show. I was talking about him
in the Entertainment News and welcome to Memphis. I Speed Show.
I was very pleased to see him go to the
National Civil Rights Museum and get the tour. So shout

(08:23):
out to I Speed Show for doing that, or I
Show Speed forgive me. So shout out to I Show
Speed for doing that. A lot of people don't know
who he is. Your youth know who he is. And
for a lot of us, we didn't know who Charlie
Kirk was. But a lot of youth know who he is.

(08:45):
A lot of us, even the older, because he was
all over the place and it was just thirty one.
And I do have a question because Charlie Kirk said
a lot of stuff. I said a lot of stupid
stuff when I was thirty one. I said a lot
of stupid stuff when I was forty one. Let me

(09:08):
just speak for myself. I said a lot of and
I find it hard that people have no grace.

Speaker 6 (09:15):
For this.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
He was a kid, talk like a man, but he
was thirty one. But I see young folks like Kai
Sinet that maybe you don't know. But these young people
know who this is. They know Kay Sinet, they know
I'm sure they know Charlie Kirk, they know I show speed,

(09:40):
they know these are the new leaders. These they're not
listening to us much unless you're talking to them in
your home. They're not paying any attention to what we're saying.

(10:01):
They're watching those guys. And there are more of them,
but those are some of the most some of the
popular ones.

Speaker 3 (10:08):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (10:08):
And there are other others that I didn't even mention
that are popular, that these young are young people, Your grandkids,
your great get grandkids are watching. They're not. They don't
care nothing about what Trump gotta say. They don't care
nothing about what Biden has to say, Kamala, They don't
care much about what I gotta say. They are that

(10:32):
their attention is on those folks, and if we're not careful,
we're gonna lose them if we're not careful. And I
know that I'm talking to a lot of folks that
are careful. And I say that because you are doing

(10:55):
those things. I remember going to hear I was at
a National Civil Rights museum. They had not the National
Civil Rights the NAACP. Years ago, Susan Taylor came to
town and she said, if doctor King were alive today,
we'd have to apologize to him because we dropped the ball.

(11:16):
Why do they listen more and watch Ky Sinnett more
and I Show Speed and Charlie Kirk more than they
listened to us. And I'm talking about black and white kids.
I ain't talking about just our kids, all of them.
And it's a scary place because our kids are so lost.

(11:39):
A lot of them, like the sixteen year old that
shot the kids in Colorado. I read where he was radicalized,
I mean, and then shot himself. And then whoever this
is that shot Charlie Kirk. So let me get back
to what I was saying. The pastor I was watching
last night, and he was he's not from here, He's

(12:00):
not from America. He's from somewhere in Africa or somewhere
like that. And he said to me, he said, I mean,
not to me, but he said, when I was watching
this video, many of us left our countries because of
stuff like this, and now we're in America. And he

(12:25):
was saying, this is dangerous ground. We're treading on. It's
dangerous ground, and I don't think people see it as
for what it really is. Before I go on to
other things, multiple HBCUs across the US lockdown because of

(12:50):
potential threats, okay, a bomb threat called into the Democratic
National Committee, had orders, and so many other things that
I can do. We really want to go there, Are
we really this angry at somebody who we really don't

(13:15):
even know.

Speaker 7 (13:18):
We are?

Speaker 4 (13:19):
We?

Speaker 1 (13:19):
I'm you know, I'm just asking y'all can call me
and tell me if you disagree with me or you know,
are we really that angry at at somebody we don't know?

Speaker 4 (13:30):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (13:30):
And I say there because I'm picking my battles. You
know why, Because whether we want to believe it or not,
the National Civil the National Guard, they're coming to Memphis.

Speaker 8 (13:45):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (13:46):
I was watching ABC News and I saw where they posted.
Memphis Mayor Paul Young has briefed the city council members
and told business leaders to prepare for the potential arrival
of the National Guard. I told you all yesterday, they
on the way, They on the way. I'm concerned about

(14:14):
what's happening here. I'm concerned about what's happening with our kids.
I'm concerned about having conversations with these kids. I'm concerned
about what our politicians are doing in our communities, what
they are doing to help this not happen, or you know,
what we are doing. I'm concerned about why these young
kids are more concerned today about I show speed showing

(14:38):
up in Memphis than they are with hearing anything we
got to say. I mean, I guess we follow people
in our day, but we I listen to my elders,
you know what I'm saying. I cared about what they
had to say, you know, there was a certain reference

(14:58):
and a certain respect. Do we want to be like
these third world countries? Do we do we really want
to see that kind of thing happen in I'm just
I'm just asking. I'm just asking, you know what I'm saying,
because I guess I'm I'm I'm I'm just It's nine eleven.

(15:20):
They're talking about the National Guard coming to Memphis, and
here we are worried about Charlie Kirk and and I'm
praying for his family, and I hope you know that
you know that they're okay. But how okay can you
be when this stuff is just in your face? How okay?

(15:46):
Can can can can you be? Ja Morant said something
that I'm let me see if I can find it,
because I want you to hear what Ja Morant said,
and I thought, good for you. This is what he said.

Speaker 3 (16:02):
I don't like I g no more man, I gave
my life boy.

Speaker 1 (16:10):
Sounding like you know he out that social media. I'm
concerned about that. I'm concerned about our kids seeing this,
these images, and I'm concerned about them death being so normalized.
That man that stabbed that girl in Charlotte, I have

(16:33):
seen almost I didn't watch the whole thing. I have
seen that so many times on social and I wasn't
even trying to watch it. I'm sorry. I really won't
be this deep on y'all today. I really went I
didn't plan to be I did. I didn't plan to
be that deep on y'all today. I will share something

(16:55):
that that that blessed me. I don't know why this
maybe feel so good, and I know this was not
It was not just me for other people that saw
this video of this young man. I really hope he
has a gofund me because I want to give to
his GoFundMe. But y'all, listen at this man. This gave

(17:16):
me joy. Listen to this.

Speaker 6 (17:17):
I just booked my first hotel at thirty four. I
never putting a hotel before. I'll be in New York
from October twelfth to the fourteenth. This is a bit overwhelming.
I know I'm sure myself here, but this is the
biggest thing I've ever done. I barely had money to
leave my house.

Speaker 1 (17:32):
That baby, he is smiling and rejoicing because he's thirty
four years old and he just booked his first ever hotel.
That gave me joy. Ada all the drama that I
saw on social media yesterday and all the bickering back
and forth, whoa, and all the hearing this is war

(17:52):
and all of that. And you better get prepared, and
you better buy you some guns, and you better get
yourself together. That was the sweetest thing I heard on
social media.

Speaker 6 (18:03):
I just booked my first hotel at thirty four. I
put a hotel before.

Speaker 1 (18:07):
He's just happy.

Speaker 6 (18:10):
This is a bit overwhelming. I know I'm suwing myself here,
but this is the biggest thing.

Speaker 1 (18:14):
Smile. It's beautiful that right there. Let me go to
the phones, because y'all are already on these phones. You
got them locked up. Let me give you the number,
and whenever you can get in, come on in and
talk to me. Uh nine O one five three five
nine three four two eight hundred five zero three nine
three four two eight three three five three five nine

(18:36):
three four two. Those are the numbers. Ticket at me.
You can tap in on this iHeartRadio app and uh
share your thoughts, share your feelings, where you at, how
you feeling? You all right? Uh, let's go to the phones.
W D I A Hello, Hey, Hey, I'm good Freddie.
How you doing?

Speaker 7 (18:53):
I'm doing all right with the with the guy who
got killed yesterday.

Speaker 4 (18:59):
He was he used to be talking a lot of stuff.

Speaker 7 (19:01):
So I don't know, you know, I'm not gonna redoorsee
it or nom. But you know, it's been happening in
us for you so you know, it just happened to him,
I believe, you know, it was its own people to them,
matter what you think.

Speaker 1 (19:13):
Well, according to the video or the photo that the
FBI released, he ain't one of us.

Speaker 7 (19:23):
No, noh, oh, I don't wanted them.

Speaker 4 (19:27):
Yeah they did that. He wouldn't say it's something wrong.

Speaker 7 (19:30):
But he's been saying stuff all the time, you know
what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (19:34):
Yeah, he said a lot of stuff. But I mean,
is that a reason for anybody to die, for anybody
to you know what I'm saying, Just because you said
a lot of.

Speaker 7 (19:49):
Stuff, doctor King or he preached us, uh, you know,
harmony and getting along you know him, Yeah, you know
what happened on not you know what I'm saying. So
you know, it's just it's just it's still we're still
in the same time. It's just a different year. We're
still in it, you know, but we got to know

(20:11):
how to keep on going. That's all. That's all what
I'm understanding about it. You know, I wasn't born in
nineteen she said. You know, I don't remember nothing about it,
you know, just to here, you know, through schools and
stuff like this. But it's just like you know, king
he was. He talked right, but you got her talk
all all. You want to talk about the holiday j
on team all that, you know, So hey, I ain't.

(20:35):
I'm not gonna rejoice it, but you know you can,
you know, over your mouth too much and they'll unlive you. Yeah,
you know, that's just how It's just how it goes.
And about us getting ready for uh uh, what's the
National Gods be coming? Member, Just keep on going to
work and doing what you're doing, and uh, stay out
of their way.

Speaker 9 (20:55):
You won't even know they're here.

Speaker 7 (20:57):
So I'm not I'm not worried about the National God
because I'm gonna to work every day, so you know,
I'm gonna ride right past him. I might look on
fantasized with big trucks, so hey, I just might look
at the trucks day on.

Speaker 4 (21:08):
And keep on going to work.

Speaker 1 (21:10):
You want them to come? Do you want him to come?

Speaker 7 (21:14):
Because we can't.

Speaker 4 (21:15):
Keep on our car.

Speaker 7 (21:16):
They want to break it. They just you know, everybody
want to you know, shoot, and you know we might
need to get some order in this town. Yeah, you know,
I don't mind. You know, they're not gonna bother me
or you, Stormy or anybody else is living right, They're
not gonna They're not gonna affect us. So I don't
I don't, you know, I don't mind. Come on, if
you're going to get some order in members Tennessee, come on,

(21:39):
this it this all you know. They're not gonnafect us.
They can come post up at the corner now from
my house, I feel a little bit.

Speaker 4 (21:47):
More safe, So you know, what do you think?

Speaker 1 (21:51):
Hey, hey, Freddy, I asked you.

Speaker 10 (22:00):
You know what you know?

Speaker 1 (22:02):
I don't know how to feel about it, honestly, I
just I feel like something needs to be done, uh
with the crime and all. But I don't. I don't
know how to feel about it. I hope it makes
us feel safe and not feel, you know, any other
way than that, But I don't so that, I don't know.
I guess that remains to be seen how we'll feel

(22:23):
when they come here, because they coming.

Speaker 7 (22:26):
Because we was already referred to as refugee in Katrina.
You know we were still the you know, American physics
needing help it is down there. I watched this series
on this seat. I know you watched it, so you know,
it's just it's just, you know, we were we were.

Speaker 9 (22:41):
Referred to refugee.

Speaker 1 (22:42):
I remember that.

Speaker 7 (22:43):
Yeah, so you know, it's just you know, hey, we
just need to straighten up. It's all if I can
straighten ubody know anybody else team.

Speaker 1 (22:51):
I know, that's right. Thank you, Freddie. Appreciate you calling
in today. And it's interesting that he would say that
about doctor King and Malcolm X because Republicans want Charlie
statue in the US Capitol, comparing him to MLK. All right,
we're gonna come back and talk. You guys. Got the

(23:13):
lines all lit up, al unforgetful, Jackson, Marcus, y'all, hold
on all of you and we'll come back and talk
some more on the way. All right, don't go anywhere.
Thank you for being here. You can also tap in
on that iHeartRadio app. I see you guys doing that,
So hold on. I'm coming to get you. If I

(23:33):
didn't call your name, that doesn't mean I don't see you,
because I see y'all on the phone. I just lost
somebody because I didn't call a name. I guess I
see y'all on the phone. Just hang on, we'll be
back in a moment. Something seventy w D I A
nine eleven. It is, it is, it is, And I

(23:54):
hope that your day is going well. Hope you're good.
A lot of you been emailing and I'm going to
read a couple of those emails, and then I'm gonna
get back to the phones. And I see you guys
are tapping the apps. I'm gonna go to your taps
as well. Let's see here. I would never rejoice in
the death of any man. Okay, this is an email
that I've received, But the fact of the matter is

(24:14):
he was a hate monger that was part of the
Proud Boys, a known hate group, and the God I
know rebukes any form of hate. The shooter could be Jewish,
also probably massade. Look what's happening in Germany to their
right wing candidates. At least six or seven have mysteriously

(24:35):
died in the last few weeks. Hmm, all right, let's
go back to the phone and see what you're talking
about on today, WD, I A hello.

Speaker 3 (24:47):
How you doing.

Speaker 1 (24:48):
Hey, I'm good.

Speaker 6 (24:49):
How are you?

Speaker 9 (24:50):
I'm a good A couple of things.

Speaker 7 (24:54):
Oh, this, y'all was a loose catt He talked bad
about blacks, women, immigrants, people, He didn't want to fire
a plane, that the power was black. He definitely said that, Peth.
He didn't think a black person was soon enough the
side plane. So he would lose cannons. And then the

(25:14):
Lord works.

Speaker 9 (25:15):
In mysterious way.

Speaker 1 (25:16):
It could have been his time.

Speaker 7 (25:18):
His time was up, and that's the way, you know,
he could have had him taken off to pass it
on to somebody else, to wake up America to see
what actually is going on.

Speaker 1 (25:32):
And boy, but but but, so you're telling me, just
because he was saying all those things and you and
then their spree free speech in America, that he's you're
not telling me you should.

Speaker 3 (25:42):
Have died, are you?

Speaker 11 (25:44):
No?

Speaker 2 (25:45):
I agree with him getting killed.

Speaker 1 (25:47):
You're just saying he was a loose cannon. But how
many loose cannons do we know though? Because there are
a lot of loose cannons. We got a lot of
loose cannons in our family, yeah, I know we.

Speaker 10 (25:57):
Do in mine, and who that time might be shot
as well?

Speaker 12 (26:03):
I can't oust for that, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 7 (26:05):
I mean, I don't agree with them killing the guy,
but he definitely was a loose cannon, and he's he's
a racist. So I'm going about I've been reading up
on him for a minute, at least about six months.
I was reading up on him for the National Guard.

Speaker 1 (26:20):
This nation, to God, it's not about crimes. For me,
it built about crime.

Speaker 4 (26:26):
Not to God.

Speaker 8 (26:26):
Would have been here a long time ago.

Speaker 4 (26:28):
Yes, this would have been the first place state the best.

Speaker 7 (26:31):
It's stuff Trump is doing.

Speaker 9 (26:34):
What are you trying to do?

Speaker 13 (26:35):
And put the United.

Speaker 9 (26:36):
States in a state of emergency.

Speaker 7 (26:38):
As long as the United States is in a state
of emergency, he stayed, President, you cannot have a you
can not have a lection in the United States. Listen,
I'll tell you not that. Don't a lie.

Speaker 9 (26:48):
You watch because he's not gonna put the National Guard
in Republican rand States.

Speaker 7 (26:54):
He's not gonna do it.

Speaker 11 (26:55):
I don't be in the National.

Speaker 7 (26:56):
Guard coming here.

Speaker 9 (26:56):
And I'm gonna tell you what.

Speaker 7 (27:00):
Did government. Lee just said he was sending fifty more
state troopers.

Speaker 1 (27:03):
They coming down.

Speaker 4 (27:06):
Okay, I'm telling you that.

Speaker 7 (27:08):
Because Chop don't tell them about no crime. Top goes
to the United States and being a state up merchant
where he could state the president and for the commanded chief.
The President's commanded chief. That means he's the charge of
the military. I did twenty four years.

Speaker 4 (27:23):
In the military.

Speaker 7 (27:25):
Government wants the state. The governor tells the National Guard
to go, not the president shop only god that is
chared of the military.

Speaker 9 (27:34):
He's a commandant.

Speaker 1 (27:35):
And I got you, I got you. But who is
doing the talking right now? It's Governor Bill Lee who
said it's on the table that Governor Bill Lee said
that just yesterday. I put it in the news this
morning on stand show that you listen to it. He
said he's sending them troops. I mean not troops, He's
sending fifty uh THCHP. He's also sending other folks. There

(27:58):
are other folks that are coming. He's the one that's
gonna make the move. Watch. Why is Memphis may Or
Paul Young talking to the folks downtown to tell them
to prepare for Why is he talking to business leaders?

Speaker 14 (28:11):
Now?

Speaker 1 (28:11):
This is according I just read you that you guys.
That uh that was according to ABC twenty four news.
He briefed the city met the council members and told
business leaders to prepare for their potential arrival. Y'all, look
watch your streets. Have y'all seen anything different with cars

(28:32):
and and things like maybe some cars you didn't know
or used to been like who was that a cop?
Or what is that who riding? Who's you know what
I'm saying, y'all, see what have you noticed? Preparation WD
I A hello.

Speaker 12 (28:51):
I'll tell you somebody noted last night Storm.

Speaker 14 (28:53):
What you know.

Speaker 12 (28:55):
I got to Dalance around my house right and about
two or three o'clock in the morning, a car pulled
up in my yard. You know, I had my car
park all the way back under there close to my house,
and he just pulled up there and stayed there for
a while. So I was looking at the camera real good,
and I saw a young man, some dude, playing with
some type of device, and then he bag up and left.

(29:20):
And when I went out there, I knew my car
was unlocked. But I don't have no car where you
have the keenlyself Storm. That's the danger. I'm telling y'all, folks,
what time it is out here, these people running around here,
that it is the device.

Speaker 11 (29:32):
You're still in need cars storming.

Speaker 9 (29:34):
Unlocking your doors and cranking up.

Speaker 12 (29:36):
Your cars and everything. Well, I'm just glad it didn't
happen to me. But I got a club on mine. Man,
this is the last nice storm. Look at your storm?
What's about your do? I would listen to you earlier
about the young folks and everything.

Speaker 9 (29:50):
You know, I'm not anti.

Speaker 12 (29:54):
Technology or nothing.

Speaker 11 (29:55):
Like that, storm, But when I sat here people talking.

Speaker 12 (29:58):
About, well, it's a new time, it's a new day.
That's what we used to do and all that stuff.
That's why stuff is so crazy, storm, because there's no
more tradition. You know, people are losing their humanity. I
mean they laughing and all that kind of stuff. Because
the only you know the dude, what Charlie Cook.

Speaker 1 (30:16):
You say, Charlie Kirk, I don't even know who that is, right,
most of us didn't until today or yesterday.

Speaker 12 (30:23):
And so he got killed and you said, people laughing
and all that kind of stuff. You know, when someone
you kill someone because of what they feel, what they
speak of.

Speaker 11 (30:36):
What they think or whatever you think, you should kill him.

Speaker 12 (30:40):
Right, that's the way it go now people because they
hurt your feeling because they all agree with you.

Speaker 9 (30:47):
That's the way y'all are you're sick?

Speaker 1 (30:51):
I'm out of your storm all right, I'm forgretful. Thank
you for tapping in missus Page says, Hey, good evenings
for me. It is sad that people can lose their
life over what they believe. I wish everyone realized that
that we all do not think alike. Sad, sad, sad
is what he says. Yeah, y'all tap this app. Let

(31:11):
me let me go to some of the tappers, and
then I'm coming back to the phones. Hang on for me.

Speaker 15 (31:15):
Okay, Hi, Stormy, Hi there on your show. First time
using that app, and I myself agree with you. I
don't see how people are rejoicing and someone losing their life,
but that's typical of our people. And also I'm a
virgo such as yourself in a clean freak. Enjoy your show,

(31:37):
enjoyed the rest of your evening.

Speaker 16 (31:39):
Thank you you too? You too, Hey, Stormy? How you
doing doing okay? Even if the National Guard come to Memphis,
where are they going? Are you going to Orange Mound,
North Memphis, South Memphis in the hipply crime areas?

Speaker 1 (31:57):
Where are they going? It's a good question, Stormy, who
is I show Shade? Who is you talking about souls?
Never heard the word? Never heard the right?

Speaker 5 (32:10):
Right?

Speaker 10 (32:10):
What's going on?

Speaker 1 (32:11):
It's storm with Ted for a clock, It's I show speed.
He's a streamer and a YouTuber. And these young folks
know who this man is, especially a lot of people
in Memphis, because some kids are right down there with him, Honey,
they they Yeah. And he's hanging out with John and Jaren. Okay,

(32:32):
he's a streamer. He's hanging out with Jaw and Jaring.
I think it's their first time meeting. That's how I
guess popular he is with these young folks. Hmm. All right,
let's go back to the phones and see what you
guys are talking about on today. All right, w d

(32:55):
I a hello? Yes, indeed, greeting and valuations Marcus.

Speaker 17 (33:03):
So, wasn't it ground that said violence is America?

Speaker 9 (33:08):
And as apple Pie, we have remember or you know our.

Speaker 17 (33:13):
People, you know black people against we have dementia some time.

Speaker 11 (33:18):
This country was built on violence.

Speaker 17 (33:20):
You know the foundation of America is violence.

Speaker 9 (33:25):
It was a violent act when.

Speaker 17 (33:27):
These people came here to this country SoCal pilgrims and
designated the native populationalist country. That was the first violent act.
Then they went to Africa and drug us with Africa
to come here to build this country for them, right

(33:47):
another another violent act. So violence is the found nationalist country.
Your own Bible tell you that whatever you saw you're
going to reap it wasn't militant peace and tranquility.

Speaker 9 (34:03):
It was built and violence.

Speaker 17 (34:06):
And after World War two, right, America didn't change over
from that, from that military industrial complex. You know, there
was so many words of the stabilization after World War
two that America went into countries and destroyed them, countries
over through them people, you know, so and if and

(34:29):
and people said to me, you know, hey, you mean
a racist. You know you shouldn't say it act.

Speaker 4 (34:34):
But that is the history of America.

Speaker 9 (34:37):
That is the history.

Speaker 17 (34:39):
Look at what's taking place over there in Palestine right now,
right with this local these with those people, violence.

Speaker 1 (34:48):
Again and who can't ruin in it?

Speaker 17 (34:51):
America standy and Kanbury. Don't be surprised it comes here
to you know, do not be surprised. You see what's
taking place in Palistin. I ain't reach here.

Speaker 1 (35:00):
Pool.

Speaker 17 (35:01):
So you're you're saying block peep to your bed.

Speaker 9 (35:06):
You're saying you take care of starting.

Speaker 1 (35:09):
All right, thank you? Very much. W d I A hello.

Speaker 11 (35:15):
Was up starting?

Speaker 1 (35:16):
Hey David, how you doing.

Speaker 10 (35:19):
I'm doing well. I'm doing well.

Speaker 7 (35:21):
Girl.

Speaker 9 (35:22):
Look you're doing fine.

Speaker 7 (35:25):
Girl. Just keep on rolling.

Speaker 8 (35:27):
But but before I get to my partner, and I know,
I got to hurry up that.

Speaker 4 (35:30):
You got that three minute groom.

Speaker 8 (35:32):
But y'all said matter Memphis there transit door to pick
up the National doll.

Speaker 11 (35:37):
They would never make it to their destiny.

Speaker 4 (35:39):
Police.

Speaker 1 (35:42):
Oh baby, mm hmm.

Speaker 11 (35:45):
I I felt I could make you laugh.

Speaker 1 (35:48):
Thank you so much for making me laugh. But you
you I think you might be right, David. I hate
to say it, but what is going on would matter?
What is the matter with matter? Then you say that
a long time ago.

Speaker 8 (36:01):
Yeah, I just take my head.

Speaker 1 (36:04):
But that's not what I'm calling for. But less, let
me first say I agree with you.

Speaker 7 (36:08):
I'm not rejoicing on his death, but I'm not pausing
and reflection either. I wouldn't advise anyone to take him
out until it's a conventional war.

Speaker 8 (36:20):
I ain't praying for him or his family. Why because
you believe he was at war? When you have means
and means of people following you, you have the responsibility
to be careful with your words, as you may insite
someone to do something that you wouldn't want him to
do unless you really want them to do it. Freedom
of speech does not include going into a crowded movie

(36:42):
theater which I just saw high as the Lords, which
I loved, and yelling five. By the way, they said
he was a religious man, I wouldn't want him to
pray for me either. He stated that people dining every
year was worth the second a limit being protected.

Speaker 1 (36:59):
So his so his sacrifice was in line with.

Speaker 12 (37:03):
What he preached.

Speaker 8 (37:04):
So I say that's that life. Violence begets violence. What's
what difference about that? An ip and I so you know.

Speaker 1 (37:13):
Just what it is.

Speaker 10 (37:15):
He was a follower Trump.

Speaker 11 (37:17):
When when Trump first ran.

Speaker 7 (37:18):
For office, I could remember the African American that was
protested at one of his campaigns.

Speaker 8 (37:23):
Stops that was assaulted by a white man.

Speaker 7 (37:26):
Donald Trump encouraged it.

Speaker 8 (37:29):
That's almost ten years ago. Donald Trump pardoned all those
people involved in January sixth interaction and intensive takeover of
our government that is in support of violence to meet
the needs.

Speaker 10 (37:42):
Donald Trump wants.

Speaker 7 (37:43):
To change the Department of Defense to the Department of War.
So he wants to make it in our offensive organization shoot.

Speaker 1 (37:50):
He doesn't want to, David, he did. He changed it.

Speaker 8 (37:56):
Well, yeah, but he had to get that improved, so
it's not final yet. They'll have to get it approved.
He can change how many times he wants to change,
but he still got to go through Congress and get
that approved. So he wants to make it an offensive
organization rather than an offensive one. He had weaponized the
Constitution of the United States of America lawless at the

(38:16):
Dream Court against the United States. Donald Truck is pro
vioentd and so was Kirk. I think it was general
patterns said, don't talk to me about dying for your country.
We want more of them dying for their country than
we do. Donald Trump will do anything and closing anything.

Speaker 7 (38:33):
And everything for the truth about everting not to come out,
including sacrifice to his own children.

Speaker 1 (38:39):
That is who he is.

Speaker 8 (38:40):
Therefore sacrifice of the country is nothing to him.

Speaker 1 (38:44):
And Kirk agreed with all of it. Now, have a
good day, all right, David, Thank you so much for
calling in man. Yeah, well, he said some things. Now
I'm not rejoicing in his death, and I do pray
for us family, but he did say some things that
maybe you should not say. I do say This could

(39:09):
be a teachable moment for our young people. You you
speak words, words have power. You speak words out there.
You you gonna get them back, you gonna you might
end up eating them. You know what I'm saying? That
that that right there, teachable moment, teachable moment. Go into

(39:34):
the app real quick, here we go. You know what's going.
Charlie Kirk's own crew set them up for the kill.
That is so safe.

Speaker 4 (39:42):
Man.

Speaker 1 (39:43):
You can't trust nobody, not even your own game. Wow
wow w d I A hello, Hey shorty? Mac doing okay?

Speaker 11 (39:54):
How you doing here?

Speaker 13 (39:56):
You got a hot one today, m here's more in
the morning.

Speaker 4 (40:01):
Stan had rapid found.

Speaker 7 (40:03):
His show and you got rapid Thursday.

Speaker 13 (40:08):
But look you also I want to say this, Stormy.
Did you know when my nephew worked at the station,
Brandon Washington?

Speaker 1 (40:15):
I did I know BRS. I remember Brandon, I know
knew Brandon and loved Brandon still love.

Speaker 9 (40:23):
That was my nephew, Stormman.

Speaker 7 (40:25):
My heart has really been hitvy because he's been dead.

Speaker 13 (40:27):
Now a few years now.

Speaker 18 (40:29):
And he love you guys at K iHeart and K
ninety seven and w G I he loved you guys,
and uh I hated that so bad when you pass
He had just got married that year.

Speaker 13 (40:41):
Who was always telling me, I want to keep buy
me a nice wife. I said, when you do find one,
go ahead and married. But you know, Lord take us
at different time. But he was crazy about you guys
at wi a man, we.

Speaker 1 (40:54):
Were crazy about him too. And I'm gonna tell you
that's one you know when when Brandon passed away, and
I still to this, I think about him, and I
still it's unbelievable. It's unbelievable. I don't understand why it
is with some people. It's you know, some people go
and and and maybe because I knew him and because
I loved him, I just you know, it's still unbelievable

(41:16):
that he is gone today.

Speaker 13 (41:18):
Yeah, he was such a he He was the one
that helped our family together. And like I said, he
had a brother, well he got one brother left and
a sister. So, like I said, my heart just been
heavy this week on thinking about him.

Speaker 3 (41:33):
Uh, and just just just grieving a little bit.

Speaker 13 (41:35):
You know, how your loved one you really love, you
still agree on a limited time, so you know, but
I want to say this.

Speaker 11 (41:41):
And just pray for the family.

Speaker 13 (41:42):
We still grieving for Brandon and he loved you guys.
So I want to say this about mister Kirk. I
hated about his death.

Speaker 4 (41:52):
Uh.

Speaker 13 (41:53):
I was telling on stand show this morning, Stormy. I
was saying that he was a campaign for forty seven.
On what it looked like to me the things he said, Stormy,
he cared a lot of hate involved in that, and uh,
I just figured that sometimes.

Speaker 1 (42:14):
The life that you live, the life that you live
is well, I'll tell you what, Shorty Mac. He did
say that he may end up. There was something that
I saw today, and thank you so much for calling
in something I saw today where he said, you know,
he understood the sacrifice that came with the things that
he said he understood. I'm gonna tell you I'm not

(42:41):
going to rejoice, definitely in that man's passing. I think
that is wrong, but I'm not and I hurt for
people that hurt. But I'm more concerned with what's happening
around up in him.

Speaker 11 (42:57):
Okay, w d I A hello, stroll on Strong, I'm.

Speaker 1 (43:03):
Not much man. How you feeling today?

Speaker 3 (43:05):
No, I'm charged with Superman. What's going down?

Speaker 13 (43:08):
Behay?

Speaker 3 (43:09):
You know, let me tell you something. It don't take
no Ironstein to figure out, Now we spolta got forty
acres and a mule and all that, and to see
history down two or three hundred years, and we ain't
got the forty acres nor the music. If I got
forty acres, I could have sold off a mute. I
could have sold it. But the bottom line, they killed
King Ronnie, they killed uh grunted Taylor, they killed George

(43:33):
for I'm talking the list going list is long. I'm
not making no excuse me. I'm not gonna I'm not
gonna summatize the only thing I'm saying, I'm almost I'm
sorry for the family and and I'm not gonna I'm
sorry that it happened to him. But the bottom line,
it goes back to the sword you live by, the
sword you die by. I see all this hatred everything,

(43:55):
Look at the look, Look at the whole. I'm just
looking at the whole.

Speaker 1 (44:00):
I hate to do it, but I'm gonna have to
let you go. It is four fifty nine and I
got to get into these commercials or I'm gonna get
a call from my bosses. So y'all hold on, We'll
be back in a moment. I'm gonna tell you Yesterday
was a heavy day looking at that shooter in Colorado.
Did you guys see that. I'm sure you've seen the
updates on that story. It unfolded at Evergreen High School
in suburban Denver this week. Please say that a sixteen

(44:24):
year old student, Desmond Holly, who had been radicalized by
an extremist network, open fire with a revolver it sepen Wednesday,
wounding two students before taking his own life. And then
this guy that shot Charlie Kirk and we assume it's

(44:44):
a man because the FBI released photos and they want
to know if anybody knows that person. So yesterday was
like what the world? And then all the talk that
we're hearing about the guard coming to Memphis, and I'm
gonna tell you everybody's talking about it. Everybody in Memphis
is talking. I ain't gonna lie. I don't know how

(45:05):
to feel about it. I want crime to go down,
just like everybody else does. I want to feel safe,
you know, wherever I'm going, just like everybody else does.
I don't know if this is the answer, you know,
I don't know if it is. In some ways, I
feel like it'll be a band aid, you know, over

(45:26):
a situation because how long? How long are you gonna stay?
And if you don't get to the bottom of what's happening,
you know what's the fix? Charlie Kirk keep from what
I've seen, Honestly, I don't know much about him, and
I believe most of us don't. We just know what
happened yesterday. And because you know, the President has called

(45:47):
him a martyr. He did a press conference last night,
and they're you know, in some of what I've seen,
demonizing the left, it is a big story. But some
of the stuff that I have seen is like I

(46:11):
saw something where he said in twenty fourteen. I think
it was something about being shot by ar fifteen, twenty fourteen,
something like that. You gotta watch your words. That's the

(46:32):
biggest thing I take from this is you know, speaking
stuff out there, and you know, but he was a kid.
He was thirty one twenty fourteen. He was even younger
who hadn't said anything stupid at a young age.

Speaker 10 (46:52):
We all have.

Speaker 1 (46:56):
Let me speak for myself. I know, I have a hello, Hello,
call you there, Hey, how you doing? Hey, I'm good,
how are you?

Speaker 14 (47:08):
And you know, but you just said and I'm like
it ain't no food like an old fool. So if
a person is young, you're doing something stupid, you can
put up with it, right, But basically Trails not nobody
was lost.

Speaker 1 (47:20):
I don't put up with it. I don't put up
with it. I might not be around you, or I
might correct you, because young people per.

Speaker 10 (47:27):
Se, not your per se, not you perfect, not you
per see.

Speaker 14 (47:30):
Not me per se anybody like I know reader's like
you know a pronoun, but I always a pro pronoun.
But I always say we, as opposed to saying Tom,
I'm a Mary or something like that. Keep peace, you
see what I'm saying. So I'm not in playing anything.
But look Prails or anybody who has lost anybody.

Speaker 1 (47:48):
He was a young man, his police were killed.

Speaker 14 (47:50):
If he has the leader, if he was a leader,
had follow us. Just one of the person that made
their choice. Macdols is to his people and to the
other young man who just talked to the Washington brandom
Washington relative now.

Speaker 4 (48:03):
Those to their cameras.

Speaker 14 (48:05):
As far as the troops coming to Memphis, Governor Lee
send troops to the border. Back in twenty three at
East one hundred would depot it from Tennessee to help
at the border. So why would he not be concerned
about this place? Now, Governor, I mean Mayor Harris is saying,
oh no, we don't need it as anti American, don't
do it. Ma'yl Young is saying, if you do it,

(48:27):
we're going to complying with it. So why is he's
saying anything about it? First of all, that they come,
I sent you an email on yesterday. My first name
is Mathain. That's why it sounds like it's a man name,
but it's really my name. And I said you one
saying that people need to have that idea on them
because to stop you got to have some identification. If
you're on your wak to work, you got to have
a letter say you're suposed to be like if they.

Speaker 1 (48:48):
Enforced to curfew, right they're here.

Speaker 14 (48:50):
So there's a lot of it's politricking also, so it
might be a lot of antics and it may help
because for sure, some of us are not trying to
help ourselves because we won't sit down, we won't stop
doing what we're doing. Everybody's so angry, everybody's so may
need some God in their life. And like you said,
while you worry about anybody else, need to trying to

(49:11):
get your relationships together. I do with the most facts
because in the end, that's the beginning for me, that's
the beginning for all of us. Will be leave here
and right now it's worth is more important to live
for this favorite moment of the look beyond this moment.
It really can't do it because we don't never know when.
Right on that note, I think three minutes up.

Speaker 4 (49:31):
What was now?

Speaker 1 (49:32):
Now, please let me say this.

Speaker 14 (49:34):
I'm concerned about the homeless people in Memphis. Get a
designated area for them, because Tennessee has a house Bial
and Houseville is saying.

Speaker 7 (49:42):
That if you are homeless, you can get possible there.

Speaker 14 (49:45):
And go to jail up to six years, and you
can also be fanned up to three thousand dollars. So
please be concerned about the homeless in case the troops
are coming. So I got you can just out there.

Speaker 1 (49:57):
They need to go try to find them. Yeah, thank you, Kay,
appreciate you. W D I A hello, Hell? What's going on? Jackson?
How you feeling?

Speaker 4 (50:07):
How you know me?

Speaker 11 (50:08):
Now?

Speaker 4 (50:08):
I'm just choking.

Speaker 1 (50:11):
You open and I heard I know your voice.

Speaker 4 (50:17):
Okay, you know, miss miss Kate, you know. I hope
you still listen, Miss Kate should be a teacher because
people like her. When you if you come into her classroom,
I think you're gonna shut your mouth and you're gonna
get your work.

Speaker 1 (50:32):
You know, she does have a commanding kind of sound
in her voice. You know that makes you want to
hear what she's saying.

Speaker 11 (50:39):
Yeah, right, And students know who to run over and
who not run over.

Speaker 4 (50:43):
You know. Uh, when you when you said you want
crimes to go down, you mean you go down more right?
You want crime to go down more right?

Speaker 1 (50:52):
That's what you meant, right, I mean I wanted to
go down. You know, I said what I said, Jackson,
just let.

Speaker 4 (50:59):
Me crime down, you said, and you said, the that
regard is going to be like a band aid.

Speaker 1 (51:08):
I said, it might be like a band aid because
what happens when they leave.

Speaker 4 (51:13):
But a band aid cures things. Because if you have
a cut and you put a band.

Speaker 11 (51:18):
Aid on, you take the bandage off in a couple of.

Speaker 4 (51:21):
Days, it's going to be well, right, It depends. It depends.
Before I talk about before I talk about Charlie, Charlie,
what Charlie Kirk, Marcus, David and al I think are

(51:42):
race baiters and there's no place for race baiters. But uh,
let me say this out here. I don't I don't
believe that upon hearing someone's death that anybody cheered or
anything was happy. Except when the OJ passed away, there
was a lot of people excited and happy.

Speaker 1 (52:03):
I saw him.

Speaker 4 (52:04):
But we need people like Charlie Kirk in this world
because but I like to get debate. That's how he was.

Speaker 6 (52:14):
He was.

Speaker 4 (52:15):
He wasn't trying to hate anybody. He was just trying
to get you to see his way by debating. He
was not a hate monger. He was not a hate person.
He loved this country, I believe, and uh that was
that was a horrible act that whoever did this. Let

(52:36):
me my last point, and I continue helping that married
man yesterday, Could I help him ahead?

Speaker 11 (52:47):
I want to help him.

Speaker 4 (52:49):
You know he's talking about his wife is all stressed out.
Now that I want to say this carefully. My wife
or a husband should never be stressed out. So let
me help you out, sir. Let your wife, uh get

(53:10):
give her release?

Speaker 3 (53:11):
Can I say that?

Speaker 1 (53:13):
Yeah, that's what I said yesterday.

Speaker 4 (53:16):
Yeah, let her get her release first before you get
your release. Talk that talk, do anything possible.

Speaker 11 (53:26):
That you need to do, even if you have to
look at Uh, I don't do that.

Speaker 4 (53:37):
I mean I heard that you could learn from the
P word.

Speaker 1 (53:43):
Yes, by bye, you better say it. Get on out
of him. What's wrong with him? What's wrong with that? Man?
Oh my goodness, I see Michael B. Says I was
gonna call in, but David said everything that I would

(54:04):
have said. Uh, talking will get you killed. It happens
every day right here in Memphis. There was also a
foiled school shooting in Seattle, Washington this past week. Yeah,
it's a bunch of stuff, too much, too much. Let's
go back to the phone and see what you're saying today.

(54:24):
W D I A hello, Hello, Hi there.

Speaker 11 (54:29):
How are you doing?

Speaker 1 (54:30):
I'm doing pretty good, Miss Barbara?

Speaker 9 (54:31):
How are you?

Speaker 19 (54:33):
I'm blessed to halla.

Speaker 1 (54:34):
I know I haven't talked to you in a minute.

Speaker 19 (54:37):
I've been praying.

Speaker 20 (54:39):
That's exactly what we doing, and that's.

Speaker 3 (54:42):
All we need to do.

Speaker 1 (54:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 19 (54:44):
Now I'm gonna send it y'all whether y'all want to
need it, y'all know that the power in the names.

Speaker 10 (54:51):
Now.

Speaker 19 (54:52):
But seven days salven is Jesus Christ faver number. I'm
going to buy me cases of I'm going in my
neighborhood and one to my and I'm a baptized that
neighborhood in the name of Jesus.

Speaker 1 (55:07):
And that's all we need to do.

Speaker 19 (55:09):
I don't want to talk about the other stuff.

Speaker 11 (55:11):
I didn't even want to talk about it.

Speaker 19 (55:12):
Because what happened when the same thing happened back in
the days.

Speaker 11 (55:16):
When Jesus got crucified.

Speaker 19 (55:18):
We are being crucified right now, right now.

Speaker 20 (55:22):
We might not get on.

Speaker 19 (55:22):
Across but the things that's happening in the world wide world,
we are being crucified. And everybody want to know what's
wrong with the charities.

Speaker 14 (55:31):
I know what's wrong with them because I got from
out here.

Speaker 19 (55:35):
She told me when I was coming up, I would
drive me a baral champagne and smoking a series. These
children out here is taking popping pills and mixing stuff up,
smoking craft.

Speaker 1 (55:46):
That exactly.

Speaker 19 (55:47):
Now, if y'all would get these folks by selling these
drugs to these people, you know, drugs mess up to
what the mind, and that's exactly what's going on. Okay,
let's use the word money. What the Bible say money
is the root of all what all evil, and it
said no, it's at all, evil people. We got bare

(56:08):
your nails in this world. You're not told my child
that you always talk the word. I said, you know
what I told my kid this morning? I said I'd
rather go back and being slaves. At least we was
more happy and were more given to one another. I
don't know what's going on, but I'm gonna blessed Orange now.

(56:29):
So if y'all see somebody in Orange Lind pouring water
in the street, I'm blessed in my neighborhood.

Speaker 7 (56:34):
Join it during it.

Speaker 11 (56:36):
Have a blessed day.

Speaker 1 (56:36):
All right, thank you, miss barbar. I appreciate your calling
in w D.

Speaker 10 (56:39):
I a hello, paint Storm, and this is Meredith her you.

Speaker 1 (56:43):
I'm good, Meredith.

Speaker 10 (56:44):
How are you, Fantimes? I thank you so much for
letting me in.

Speaker 9 (56:48):
So listen.

Speaker 10 (56:49):
You know people keep saying, you know, well, the balance
against Turley because only because he was speaking his mind,
and why should we we shouldn't rejoice. Well, you know what,
let me, let me let me say the reconstray for me,
because I'm not gonna be ashaite to say that something.
The only thing would stop you is death. Now take

(57:09):
away the fact that he said horrible things.

Speaker 7 (57:11):
About black people and mignority.

Speaker 10 (57:13):
Tanji, the first the Supreme Court justice.

Speaker 1 (57:18):
He yeah, I know what you're talking about. I saw
that video because he played the video of Katanji talking.
She was all she said she was a recipient of
affirmative action at first, but not in the end. I
think that's when she was talking. Yeah, there's a video

(57:38):
out there of that.

Speaker 10 (57:39):
Yeah, well exactly. No, there's one example, and things he
said about Kamalain and Michelle Obama and black women. They
take away all that because he has a right to
say that. But this is where my issue comes in.
At First of all, we gotta stop saying he's yeah,
he was a kid, and you know he's a full
grown man with he is the wife, build a house
on the Cardinal a millionaire. Okay, he wasn't a freaking child.

(58:00):
He knew exactly what he was doing. So they mis
thank to you, what this man was doing. He's going
around to college campuses recruiting right young impressionable men to
become hatemongers and balance. We have to understand that mental hate.
Mental balance begets physical balance, and physical hate it turns

(58:21):
into that. So when you walk around to these college
campuses and you want white young man to say, guess
what the job he's trying to get a black person
on the giddy because because they got in firm of answers,
this this this.

Speaker 1 (58:32):
House you woved?

Speaker 10 (58:33):
You know, keep playing us in these people heads?

Speaker 2 (58:37):
Do you know what I mean?

Speaker 10 (58:37):
People say, you know what, I was Democrat, But after
listening to him, I'm kind of changing my mind. He
bought around throwing hate.

Speaker 11 (58:44):
How do we not see that?

Speaker 10 (58:45):
So again, y'all wanna say balance the answer? What was
gonna talk him? Because I guarantee you if we had
a Justin Pearson or Justin Jones going around a college
campusis saying the white man is this, and a white
man is that? And if we don't stand gonna do
something the white man got there, it would be a
freaking problem and he wouldn't last long. They would shut
him down, just like the shut everything else down that

(59:06):
they say black people trying to do. So, No, we
don't have to feel sorry for him. We don't have
the Again, we don't have to rejoice. He got kids.
Now understand kids are very innocent and no child is
born with hate.

Speaker 15 (59:16):
But that man was.

Speaker 10 (59:17):
That man was trying to get under Donald Trump's Bosom,
and he went out to get Donald Trump's attention. And
what that he started to do, he started to bring
hate towards the people and his Again, his tigre was
young white men, and that's what he was out there doing.
So I'm sorry, Stormy, he needed to be stopped. I
hated he became in his life, but by all means

(59:39):
necessary sometimes.

Speaker 9 (59:40):
Y'all where y'all want to hear his not the only things, well, I.

Speaker 10 (59:44):
Mean that's on you. I said, sometimes, Stormy, you can
say all you want to your show that we have
the right to our opinions.

Speaker 1 (59:52):
And I'm just telling you, and I'm saying, I know.

Speaker 10 (59:59):
The don't agree with each other.

Speaker 2 (01:00:01):
We don't.

Speaker 1 (01:00:01):
We don't know that party when you when you told
me at that time that we are at a table now,
I ain't forgot that never And I'm telling you.

Speaker 10 (01:00:10):
A lot more that you're gonna agree with. But this
right here, the hate had to be stopped. And one
last thing, when.

Speaker 1 (01:00:17):
You can't stop, you can't stop hate with hate.

Speaker 10 (01:00:24):
But so I mean, I mean who they hate.

Speaker 9 (01:00:28):
I mean.

Speaker 10 (01:00:31):
You can't say he made college campuses, okay, And I
know a lot of the I'm gonna try to interpret
what I'm saying the wrong way. All I'm saying there
was was it hate, the God step being y'all wanted
everything else.

Speaker 4 (01:00:42):
That God did this.

Speaker 10 (01:00:43):
God did that, the God step being a stop because
the hate that he was putting out there to impression
about young men had to stop.

Speaker 5 (01:00:51):
Now.

Speaker 10 (01:00:51):
I would like to think that that God would have
touched his heart and one day he would have realized
he was doing wrong. But it doesn't look like that
was gonna happen. You know why, because more people stopped following.
More and more people start following, so it was getting worse,
be getting better. Now, Hey, what happened to four kids?

Speaker 5 (01:01:06):
Say?

Speaker 10 (01:01:06):
But throw me that hap to me?

Speaker 6 (01:01:08):
Put you in.

Speaker 10 (01:01:09):
I'm sorry it had to be put you in.

Speaker 1 (01:01:11):
I got you there. Listen back. I gotta run. I
gotta run because I gotta get to catch that commercial.

Speaker 10 (01:01:18):
I think when they found out, it's gonna be a
Republican that did this, non Democrat, thank you.

Speaker 1 (01:01:23):
Okay, okay, all right, and bad that's possible. We don't know.
We do not know, but we will soon know. Listen, guys,
I'm gonna take a break. I gotta take a break,
and then we'll come back and talk to you guys
some more. So hang on for me those of you
that have called in. Uh, let's see Luthor, Michael, Lady
d just Black and uh if you want to get

(01:01:44):
into the conversation, I see your emails as well. I'll
take your emails. Uh, I will read them. All that
good stuff coming up as well. Nin o one five three, five,
nine three four two eight hundred five zero three ninety
three four two eight three three five three five nine
three four two. Got a few lines open if you
want to get in on the converse. We'll be back
in a month. When nine eleven happened, Yeah, we.

Speaker 4 (01:02:04):
Do, we do.

Speaker 1 (01:02:06):
And sometimes when you hear crimes happening in the world,
sometimes people try to, you know, do certain things because
they know that it's gonna be louder if they do
it around certain anniversaries and you know, and stuff like that. Politics. Man, today,

(01:02:30):
in today's world, is it seems like it's worse than ever.
You know, I remember back in the day when things
were bad and there were assassinations and attempted assassinations and
things like that. You know, yesterday, when I thought about
when I heard about what happened to Charlie Kirk and
the fact that he was shot in the net you

(01:02:51):
know who it made me think about JFK. JFK. And
I don't even think I was alive when that happened,
but I'm gonna tell you it had an effect on me,
even when I saw the stories about it and saw
the clips and all that stuff years later. Yeah. Now,

(01:03:14):
I wouldn't put Charlie Kirk in the position that a
lot of these politicians are putting him in. But for
some people, that was who he was to them. There
are they're comparing him to MLK, that's the comparison. Now,
I wouldn't put him there. And like I said, I
don't know the man. I didn't know him, but I

(01:03:36):
do know that young people say crazy stuff, and you know.
And then I was listening to what Meredith said, and oh,
my goodness, this is an interesting time that we're living in.

(01:03:58):
It's an interesting time and it makes me sad because
the stuff kind of some of the stuff that we
hear about the tappening in America was not stuff that
we would hear about happening in America, and now we're
hearing about it today. And then I saw this email
African consultant says Hitler was stopped with violence. Now, I

(01:04:21):
wouldn't compare Hitler to mister Kirk. I think that's egregious
because Kirk wasn't killing people, and he wasn't he wasn't
killing Jews. But I want to say, I kind of
understand what you're saying, but I don't because you went
went too far, strayed a little long on that one.
That's that's way out there. But I just I know people,

(01:04:51):
he wasn't bothering me, and I guess that's how I
look at it.

Speaker 6 (01:04:58):
But but.

Speaker 1 (01:05:00):
It's almost like you're in a fix and how you
think in America today, because it's like, you know, hearing
about that situation that happened in Charlotte with the black
guy killing the Ukrainian girl, to me that both of

(01:05:20):
those situations bother me, both of them. And you want
to say it's a movie, you know, you want to
think it's a movie we're not living in, we're not
living through. But we were living through this, and I
don't want to think that it's gonna be worse, you
know what I'm saying, because we all got lives and

(01:05:42):
families and things we want to do, I just can't
get that passionate about the whole black and white of it.
Not with Charlie Kirk, not with a kid to me.
He was a kid.

Speaker 14 (01:05:57):
To me.

Speaker 1 (01:05:57):
He said a lot of off the wall thing that
I definitely do not agree with some of the stuff
that I've seen. I don't agree with Hitler. Yes, I
agree with he ain't killed nobody like. Come on now
that's that. Don't send me no email like that.

Speaker 6 (01:06:17):
No more.

Speaker 1 (01:06:18):
Come on now, wait, went too far, stay too long.
Let me tap y'all tap this up and we're gonna
see what you're saying here.

Speaker 21 (01:06:25):
Hey, Stormy, great show, races, race is everywhere, and my
condotted Charlie Kurt and his family, Jackson Kate is not
fee to be one of your prestictions however you want
to see it.

Speaker 22 (01:06:45):
I'm loving this show.

Speaker 1 (01:06:47):
Hey, everybody, have a good evening. Thank you, miss Sam.
I appreciate you tapping that out. Everything said, it's the true.

Speaker 3 (01:06:54):
She is wrong.

Speaker 1 (01:06:55):
Want to know something.

Speaker 8 (01:06:57):
Okay, to the lady who was saying that money is
the root of our evil, it's the love of money
that's the root.

Speaker 1 (01:07:05):
There you go, Just a pre thank you, m the
love of money that's right, That's that's right, all right.
Let's see a couple of emails here, Stormy. When black
people spend more time loving on each other rather than
loving and feeling sorry for the white folks that hate
our guts, we as a people would be in much
better shape. Charlie Kirk was on tour of a white

(01:07:28):
college campus to promote white supremacy, promote violence, and radicalize
white students against minorities and especially black folks. Okay, that
was from Duke. Then an email that we got from him.
Let's see missus Shelby. It's it's too long. I can't
read all of that. M somebody else agreed with the

(01:07:53):
person that tapped the app. Money ain't the root of
all evil, it's the love of money. Let's see somebody
else agree with that. They said the same thing. We
must all remember that the vote is stronger than the bullet.
Tony says, should have made you think about Martin Luther King.

(01:08:14):
He got shot in the neck when he got assassinated.
I didn't know where doctor King got shot. That's why
I didn't. I didn't know he got shot in the neck,
so I didn't. Yeah, that's why I didn't think about
doctor King. I didn't know he got shot in the neck.
I don't remember. I didn't remember. I thought maybe he

(01:08:34):
got shot in the face. I didn't know what was
in the neck. Hmm. Learned something new every day. But
I didn't think about doctor King because I because he's
a white man, and I didn't That's why I didn't
think doctor King. I'm not comparing him to MLKA, but

(01:08:55):
you know the people on the other side, that is
who they are comparing this young man through.

Speaker 16 (01:09:00):
Hmm.

Speaker 1 (01:09:01):
All right, I'm gonna take your calls, but I need
you to be short with your comments, and I'm just
telling you that upfront. Please do that for me. Thank you.
W D I A hello, Hello, call you there?

Speaker 23 (01:09:15):
Tell me?

Speaker 8 (01:09:15):
Yeah, Hi, this is Joyce.

Speaker 1 (01:09:17):
Hey, Joyce, how you Joyce.

Speaker 24 (01:09:21):
My condolences to the Kirk family.

Speaker 9 (01:09:23):
I never heard him speak.

Speaker 4 (01:09:25):
I do believe in free speech.

Speaker 11 (01:09:27):
But just because you have the right to say things,
does the.

Speaker 24 (01:09:31):
Mean it's always experience or the best thing to say
or do.

Speaker 25 (01:09:36):
Because if your words are harmful, if your words are harmful.

Speaker 24 (01:09:41):
Are provocative, are aggressive, then they are gonna set into motion.

Speaker 10 (01:09:46):
Anger, benefulness, and people.

Speaker 7 (01:09:49):
Are going to want to go on the attack.

Speaker 4 (01:09:52):
So you have to be careful with your words.

Speaker 24 (01:09:56):
Trying to compare this young man to m L K
jail k.

Speaker 4 (01:10:00):
R f K.

Speaker 25 (01:10:01):
He equates to them as far as human life goes,
but he doesn't equate to them in terms of longevity
of their work and the impact of their work. His
work was mostly geared towards MAGA and the current president.

Speaker 24 (01:10:21):
In trying to help those things and trying.

Speaker 7 (01:10:24):
To help the MAGA, you know, increase their stuff.

Speaker 24 (01:10:28):
So he you know, they talk about our words, including
from the president on down.

Speaker 25 (01:10:37):
You have to watch at late night, not late night,
but conservative talk shows.

Speaker 24 (01:10:44):
I listened to him just to know what both sides
are thinking, are saying. And you can disagree with the
ideals of the politics, but why do you have to
constantly say.

Speaker 11 (01:10:57):
Ugly words and negative things?

Speaker 7 (01:10:59):
And it's a couple on at night.

Speaker 24 (01:11:01):
Everything they say is negative.

Speaker 10 (01:11:05):
All the negative adjectives they can.

Speaker 24 (01:11:07):
Use about Democrats, they use them consistently, and that provokes
people to go out and do stuff they shouldn't do.

Speaker 7 (01:11:18):
It shouldn't but it done.

Speaker 11 (01:11:19):
Yea, And that my viewpoint on that.

Speaker 1 (01:11:23):
I gotcha. Thank you so much for calling in appreciate you.

Speaker 9 (01:11:27):
Okay, good bye, bye, w D I a hello.

Speaker 4 (01:11:31):
For me.

Speaker 1 (01:11:32):
Hey there, you know it doing good?

Speaker 11 (01:11:35):
How are you listen today?

Speaker 2 (01:11:37):
You know you you kind of made it come in
and I kind of like felt you say, well, I
don't know what that God wouldn't do. I really don't understand,
you know, I would say that you feel like, you know,
give me a negative connotation there, but shouldn't this out.

Speaker 1 (01:11:50):
Every Wait a minute and wait a minute. You didn't
confuse me?

Speaker 11 (01:11:53):
What about what you know?

Speaker 7 (01:11:55):
What you said about that's regards you know you're.

Speaker 1 (01:11:57):
Not different about it, right, Yeah, I don't know how
to feel about it. That's what you're talking about.

Speaker 11 (01:12:01):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, And I say that.

Speaker 7 (01:12:03):
That's no problem you. Hey, you supposed to and that's
the way you see you feel about it. Let me
let me let me show you this here so since
the TELLM see how we patrol have been here with
them additional officers and that what I talked to the copies.
Hey man, can you teach how to HOWW show got
people pulled out shato streets?

Speaker 10 (01:12:21):
I just goodness, I think I was.

Speaker 7 (01:12:23):
That's what we meet him from. These people ride around
with g job off tag always accired with a drive
I tagged don't let him pull him over. So maybe
the nice guy matter help. I might worry about the
next guy, but the young man told you earlier.

Speaker 2 (01:12:36):
You I and he him, we got to.

Speaker 7 (01:12:38):
Worry about that will all about the silts that people
got to worry about. It is the one that's doing
this mischieved stuff.

Speaker 4 (01:12:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:12:46):
So so you can have your opinion, your and your life.
But I came here keep your hoping Psalms one point
of sent one through ten because I let these people
that call in and always talk about the word you know,
and to the number one books in the world in
the Bible, anybody at home or even at the hotel,
if you pick it up and read it, I promise

(01:13:06):
if you'll find out why we're going through, then we're
going through. I'm not outside, I'm big red paid. But
if you really we don't just read your Bible, okay,
if all be written out, I don't they do it
just says say wait and just make sure we can
maneuver through this life.

Speaker 11 (01:13:21):
Until it's just to conclusion.

Speaker 7 (01:13:23):
Thanks for thinking about to Thank you.

Speaker 1 (01:13:25):
So much for making your call. Thank you for calling
in w d I A Hello, good afternoon, Storty, Good afternoon,
how are you. I'm fine.

Speaker 22 (01:13:34):
I was listening to your last caller, and there was
something in what he said, and I was curious to
whether the people who seemed to revel in the death
that just happened, or is it they get an understanding,
because what instantly popped in my head was Isaiah three eleven, and.

Speaker 9 (01:13:53):
He says, woe to the wicked.

Speaker 3 (01:13:56):
It would be bad, It would go.

Speaker 22 (01:13:57):
Badly for him, for what he deserves will be done
to him.

Speaker 11 (01:14:01):
And I was trying to reconcile that with people seeming.

Speaker 22 (01:14:05):
To revel rather than understand that wicked ways breed wicked actions.

Speaker 1 (01:14:13):
Now you don't spoke, you don't say it something.

Speaker 22 (01:14:16):
So I was just curious to whether they actually are
glad or is it as in Isaiah, they understand. And
if you have one that, like a couple other callers earlier,
I'd like to know from him if that.

Speaker 1 (01:14:30):
Was the case. All Right, you two, thank you so
much for calling in. Meredith emailed me. She said, I
didn't say I was rejoicing in his death. I said,
sometimes death is the only thing that stops hate. I'm
not shedding tears for him, that's Meredith. Death doesn't stop hate.

(01:14:51):
MM people that are gonna hate. Hate ain't going nowhere, Neville.
Just like racism, it ain't going nowhere. Yeah mm hmmm.
As much as we wanted to go and stop, it
ain't going nowhere nowhere. Okay, let me go back to

(01:15:12):
the phones. W D, I A hello.

Speaker 11 (01:15:15):
Close, Stormy Teams.

Speaker 1 (01:15:17):
Hey there, lady d. How you doing on today?

Speaker 20 (01:15:20):
I'm good and thanks for accident.

Speaker 11 (01:15:22):
Look, you took a me. You said I wasn't live.

Speaker 3 (01:15:27):
Then I said storm and then.

Speaker 1 (01:15:28):
She wasn't boring me. Same thing.

Speaker 12 (01:15:34):
But look, Stormy, when the national guy, I come here
in the.

Speaker 20 (01:15:38):

I'm doing fine.

Speaker 27 (01:22:29):
I just wanted to say I did agree with narrative,
and I also agree with Michael, So I agree with.

Both what both of them said.

Speaker 1 (01:22:36):
Okay, totally agree. All right.

Speaker 27 (01:22:39):
I know you want me to be quick, so I'm
gonna be quick, and hopefully you had a great day today.

Speaker 1 (01:22:44):
You know what, I have had a pretty good day. Yeah,
I'm saddened by the things that I'm saddened by the
things that are happening in our country. But I've had
a good day. And you know what, I am bad.
You know what I think, Antonio, Let me say this.
I think.

Speaker 3 (01:22:57):
I think.

Speaker 1 (01:22:57):
I think when we have things like this, and I
know you're young, man, I think when things like this
happen in life, use it as a teachable moment for
you and all the young people that are listening to me.
But you know what, but I was thinking about saying.

Speaker 27 (01:23:11):
I always say, if you're saying evil company, could reps
good character. I was thinking about I was thinking about
it too though, like sometimes you can be around the
wrong person so long you can ide the lives the devil,
you know, and the devil can get you kid, and
he keep on going to life. I'm not saying that
what perhaps that what Trump may be to him, but
you know, I don't think for in the black corned

(01:23:33):
Trump probably have a zero rating.

Speaker 4 (01:23:35):
Besides with Denver and other.

Speaker 1 (01:23:37):
Guys, Antonio, I gotta run. Thank you so much for
call it in, okay, w d I.

Speaker 23 (01:23:52):
I want everyone to know I absolutely agree with Michael one.

Speaker 10 (01:23:57):
No one wants to condemn.

Speaker 23 (01:23:59):
What happened and to him, however, what they said, if
you live by the sword, you can't to die by
the sword. And I want some things that people need
to remember. In regards to Charlie Kirk, what type of
person he was, he believed in the civil rights.

Speaker 10 (01:24:15):
Was a huge mistake.

Speaker 23 (01:24:17):
He blamed Jews for things.

Speaker 10 (01:24:19):
He said gay people were destructive.

Speaker 23 (01:24:22):
He did not believe in anything related to black people
is being good. And I'm not saying that we're celebrating
his death. But a lot of times when you have
those type of rhetorics and you believe in such hate,
you don't die being an old manager a graceful death.

Speaker 1 (01:24:37):
I got you, Linda, thank you for calling in. I
will tell you that I don't know if what you
said about him being believing that Jews were bad, that
might not be true because Net and Yahoo Today honored
Charlie Kirk, so I'm not sure about that one. But anyway,
last call you got thirty seconds wd IA Hello, hey there.

Speaker 28 (01:25:04):
Hey, quickly. I think that it was a hit that
killed that guy. It was a power move and it
may not be what everyone is thinking.

Speaker 1 (01:25:18):
Interesting. All right, thank you for calling in. To all
of you that have called in today, I appreciate you
so much. I'm gonna go do these last app tappers
and then we're gonna get to this classic TV throwback.

Speaker 29 (01:25:28):
Was saying something that Trump did not say because he's
the president, but he's wanting him to see it. Yes,
and he's so crazy about him. Yeah, So I don't
feel sorry for him to a side for his family.
It's not gotcha.

Speaker 1 (01:25:48):
You know what, You shouldn't feel sorry for him. He gone.
He's gone. I mean, you know, if you understand, I'm
not saying that in an ugly way, but I'm saying
he's gone. So you know, I'm sure a lot of
people feel sad that he said. There are a lot
of people that do feel sad that he's gone, but
he gone. You know what I'm saying, Uh, Hello, Hey,

(01:26:10):
I won this.

Speaker 29 (01:26:10):
Trump gonna send the National Guards to Utah and to
the other place where the mass shootings were interesting.

Speaker 1 (01:26:19):
And well, I guess it remains to be seen. M
They definitely come to Memphis. I will tell you that's
what I believe it's happening. The setup is right in
