Today's Word 01-09-25 Take Your Promised Land

Nobody, and I do mean nobody. Death it like your
early one. They praise party. I am Sherry Mackie. In
it's time, right now for today's word. Take your Promised Land,
Joshua won sixteen says. They answered, Joshua, we will do
whatever you command us, and we will go wherever you
send us. When God brought the Israelites out of slavery

(00:24):
and took them to the Promised Land, he promised that
that all they had to do was go in and
take the land. But the Israelites were too afraid of
the people in the land, and they turned away. They
spent forty years y'all, in the desert, running from things
that God promised they could conquer. Y'all. The next generation
of Israelites came back to the Promised Land, saw that

(00:46):
same giant or giants and forty five cities, but they
had a different attitude. They refused to spend their lives
wandering in the desert. They declared to Joshua that they
would do whatever he commanded, face the opposition, and take
the same land their parents could have had. I want
to encourage you today, don't be like the Israelites and

spend years of your life running from things that God
has already giving you victory over. You may need to
confront pride. Maybe you need to confront a bad attitude,
or confront areas where you've been compromising. When you face
your fears, defeat bad habits, or forgive the wrongs or
hurts others have caused you, you're gonna enter your promised land.

(01:30):
The victory, y'all is already yours. Oh Father God, thank
you that you are the most high God, and that
no giant or stronghold is too great for you. Thank
you that you're leading us into our promised land. As
we confront and face areas of our lives that have
held us back. Help us to be bold and take

(01:52):
our promised land in Jesus' name. Hey, now that's your
word for today. I want you to take it, apply
it to your everyday life and you could get to
be encouraged and inspired right here with me, your girl,
