Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's your early morning praise party. I am Sherry Mackie
at his time right now for today's word, keep dreaming.
Exodus four eleven says, then the Lord asks Moses, who
makes a person's mouth? Is it not? I? The Lord?
You know, sometimes we're almost we almost miss great things

(00:22):
that God wants to do in and through us because
we talk ourselves out of believing what he says. I
think today about doctor Martin Luther King Junior, who was
the ultimate dreamer. God put a dream in his heart
to see that all men would be equal and handled

(00:43):
equal for civil rights, for justice, and he followed that
dreams he allowed God to order and orchestrate his steps.
I think about Moses when God told Moses to go
and tell Pharaoh to free God's people from slavery. Moses said,
I can't do that. I'm not a good speaker. God's
response was a question, Moses, who made your tongue? He

(01:06):
was saying, I've already put in you exactly what you need.
Take a step of faith and you'll decover discovered gifts
inside of you that you never even realized that you had. Y'all, listen,
let me encourage you today. Don't let the size of
your dreams or the challenges to your dreams intimidate you,

(01:27):
and don't let naysayers discourage you from pressing forward. You
got to realize that God will never put a dream
in your heart without first equipping you with everything you
need to accomplish that dream. Remind yourself that if God
has given you a vision, He's gonna give you pro
vision for the vision. Do like Moses did and keep

(01:49):
taking steps of faith. Do like doctor Martin Luther King did,
and keep on dreaming and moving toward seeing that dream fulfilled.
God's gonna do the rest. Come on, Jesus, Father, God,
in the name of Jesus Christ, thank you for the gifts,
for the talents that you've put inside of us to
accomplish our dreams. Thank you that we don't have to

(02:09):
feel that we've got everything together. We don't have to
feel like we've got them do it on our own. God,
we declare that we will keep taking steps of faith
and trust you to get us to where we need
to be. We're gonna keep on dreaming and trusting you
to order our steps and make provision. In Jesus' name. Hey,

(02:30):
now that's your word for Today, I'll take it applied
to your everyday life and you continue to be encouraged
and inspired. It's your early body praise party. I am
Sherry Mackie.

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today.
