Today's Word 01-23-25 Stay on the Wall

It's your early morning praise party. I am Sherry Mackie
in its time for today's word. Stay on the Wall
near Mayah four one and two says, when sand Ballad
heard that we were rebuilding the wall, he became angry
and was greatly incensed. He ridiculed the jewels and said,

(00:20):
what are these feeble jewels doing? Can they bring the
stones back to life from these heats of rubble burned
as they are Nearbiah was courageously leading the effort to
rebuild the walls of Jerusalem and restore safety to its inhabitants.
When two men, sand Ballad and Tobiah opposed him, they

(00:42):
started stern up trouble, spreading rumors about Nehemiah's motives, making
false accusations, and gathering other enemies to stop the work.
But y'all check this out. No matter how much Nehemiah
was tempted to straighten them out, he refused to be
baited into conflict. And guess what, he kept working. He
kept completing the walls in record time. He put his

reputation and his purpose in God's hand, and he focused
on what God called him to do. Y'all, this is
no different today. Anytime you step up to do the
right thing, anytime you start walking in your purpose and
what God has called you to do, don't be surprised
when somebody starts trying to find fault or questions your
motives or says things that are simply not true. Y'all,

(01:30):
if you were sitting around being mediocre, nobody would care
the fact that people are trying to discredit you, trying
to make you look bad. That's a sign you're doing
the right thing. You're making a difference, You're leaving your mark.
Let me encourage you today. You keep doing the right thing,
and God will take care of your sand Valid and
your Tobiah. He's gonna take care of your reputation. Trust me,

I know. Father, Thank you that you've given us walls
to re build and a purpose to fulfill. Give us
wisdom to know when what's coming against us is simply
a distraction that is trying to get us off our
course and what you called us to do. God, we
believe that you are our defender and you're going to
fight every battle for us in Jesus' name. Hey, now
